One of the consistently healthiest choices in a town with a lot of mediocre choices.

Excellent Thai food. Hot and Sour soup was fantastic! Thai chicken with peanut sauce was the best I've ever eaten. If the waiter owns the restaurant he has a right to be arrogant. It's that good!

Very rude owner! Ordered the same food that we've ordered for 3 years, we received food that we did not order. Owner argued, and still charged us!

Stopped in on a snowy March evening on the way to Denver from Tulsa for a bite to eat and to let some of the road buzz wear off. The service was good and the food was tasty.

We were driving through on the way to Nebraska and took a gamble on Thai food in a small town. What a great find. The restaurant is clean and modern. The food was delicious. My only negative is that their dishes are very mild compared to other Thai food I've had in my travels. If you want something truly spicy, I guess you have to ask for it.

Even accounting for the limitations of the venue, this place was very disappointing. First of all it is hardly Thai. The specials for the evening were General Tso's Chicken and Moo Gu Gai Pan (Chinese). We went for the Thai Curry Noodles on the menu which we were warned was spicy so we checked with the not very pleasant waitress who said it was moderately spicy, which we agreed to. It was not even slightly spicy - there was no heat whatsoever, and no curry flavoring at all - sort of creamy spaghetti with Chinese cabbage and carrots.

Went here with a large group for lunch while in town on a conference. I had been told that the food here was very good, and this was indeed the case. The waitress, the owner I think, was a little rude, but I think that might have had to to with a table of 10 just showing up without notice. Worth a stop if you are looking for a good quick lunch.

Fantastic. Wow. In Lamar Colorado no less. Delicious Thai spring rolls (the dipping sauce is to die for) and the best General Tso chicken Ive ever had. Outside looks dumpy but interior is modern and immaculate. Truly an oasis in a culinary desert -- don't miss it if passing thru Lamar. P.s. Ask them to make it spicy.

By far the best place to eat in Lamar. Tried half the menu and have never been disappointed. Moon harbor is my favorite.

Flew in unexpectedly from Boise Idaho read the reviews and thought I would give it a try for myself. Found the service to be prompt and pleasant! The broccoli beef was tasty and my hot and sour soup was different but good!~ I recommend ordering something to drink besides the water :)

The building looks a little scary from the outside, but the inside was surprisingly modern and very clean! The lady in charge seemed to be a little brusque, but the food was VERY good. We started with the Spinach Cheese Wontons... a little plain. The Hot and Sour Soup was next... absolutely amazing! I love Thai food and was pleasantly surprised to discover how incredible their soup was. By far, the BEST hot and sour soup I have ever had! I couldn't get enough! I chose the Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp for entree and was very happy with my decision. Lamar, CO is very fortunate to have a fantastic little Thai place like this!

Not bad given the other options here in Lamar. I've been here before and I'll probably come again, but I probably wouldn't pick this place over other good options if there were any. The 3 stars is in comparison to other Thai places I've been.

Passable food for a small town, and probably better food than could be had elsewhere in this town. But...Meh on their pad thai. I also concur with other reviewer's observation of disinterested table service.

While exploring my new work territory, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Thai restaurant in this rural town. Upon entering the restaurant, I was amazed at how new and modern the decor was. We ordered a good assortment of appetizers and entrees. The food had excellent flavor and has tremendous potential for the unique market they represent; however, the service and overall ambiance was lacking (to be kind). I would recommend ordering takeout if you're going to eat here. Service was prompt, but not courteous. Service alternated between a lady and young man (assume family, mother/son). Both gave an outward appearance that we were disturbing their day rather than making us feel welcome. The young man consistently returned to a table in the service area, where he was watching TV sitcom on an iPad. The restaurant had no music nor TV for the public, which could have helped drown out the sound of the HVAC system. My suggestion to the owners, install a couple flat screen TVs and put on the sitcoms for everyone to enjoy rather than some awkward iPad that customers are forced to hear but not see. Also, some smiles and gratitude for the patronage would give a welcoming environment that makes people want to come back. The food was very flavorful as I mentioned; however, there were some variations that were firsts for me. Pad Thai was cooked like chow mein. I guess I'm used to having the hot and cold components set on the plate allowing me to combine fresh bean sprouts with the cooked noodles, along with other side toppings like chopped peanuts, thai basil, and fresh lime to squeeze over it. Also, the panang curry was a peanut based sauce rather than a red/orange curry sauce that I'm accustom to. There were also no disclosures on the menu that the dish was a peanut sauce, which could cause folks with allergies a concern. The positive was that the curry was chalk full of wonderful vegetables and flavor.

This Thai food is really good, but in Lamar CO it's outstanding! A wide variety of choices makes a one time stop a difficult decision. The wonderful aromas that greet you as you open the door tell you eating here is going to be a delight...and it was.

Found this little hole in the wall and it really does have some great food. The lemongrass chicken I had was awesome. The appetizer spinich wontons were kind of bland-I'd skip those next time. Service-not sure if just a bad day or if the server really is that unhappy. Service was prompt but not with a smile. I would eat here again if I'm in the area

A good place for dinner! The restaurant is very nice looking and they have a good variety of dishes. My curry was very good -but as others have said, it lacked hotness. But, each table has a bottle of sriracha sauce so it was easy to raise the heat in the dish. I left very full and happy. It was a welcome change to the typical places one eats at while traveling.

Yum! Love the panang curry w/ tofu- comes with lots of veggies (carrots, broccoli).

thai tea - tasted like a mixture of tea, coffee, and chocolate milk salad - small and the peanut sauce dressing tastes more like thousand island coconut chicken soup - big disappointment entree - forgot what it was called but it was basically grilled chicken over salad with cucumber and tomato....it was good general consensus - would eat here again but wouldnt be my idea

WOW! just moved here from Los Angeles (for a job...don't think a lot of people would move here randomly) and kept driving by here and decided to try it. I'm a huge Thai food fan and knew I was going to miss it dearly when I moved. Didn't think I'd find much amazing food in Lamar, let alone Thai food. Nice set up inside, the girlfriend and I both order really good Thai iced teas, order our food, and wait...then...here comes my combination garlic platter with fried rice and her shrimp curry. Both really really really good. Good like wow good! I'll definitely be back here to my new favorite diamond in the rough! TEBOW!

What a pleasant surprise. We were rolling on through and decided to stop for lunch. It isn't the most amazing meal I've ever eaten, but plenty good and a great value. Highly recommended if you find yourself in Lamar and are looking for Asian food.
