The cooks here are idiots. After doing the wrong size for two orders, rather than correct the issue, they said that "it's the same amount of food, the larger size just has a bigger plate". It's pretty clear you don't need a GED to work here. Well done guys. Don't order the larger sizes at this Pei Wei, it's obviously all the same amount of food and you're just paying for a larger plate...

What happened to pei wei. This place was great now ok in every way. Food service utensils.... No more fortune cookies. Feels like corporate came thru with serious cost cutting measures.

Let's see...not super friendly, out of wontons, out of Brown RICE! Too bad my Kung pao steak had only a hint of sauce, because it would have helped to cover up the fact that the steak tasted like a Chicken McNugget...not even the beef at McDonalds tastes like a McNugget...absolutely terrible

Used to be a lot better! More oil and rice now, less veggies. Somehow they changed the formula. Hard times in Pei Wei land apparently. All three in my party felt this way.

This restaurant used to be wonderful. What happened? I stopped by for lunch and was horribly disappointed. Restaurant was nearly empty with only 2 other customers at tables who had already finished eating. I ordered my food from a young female who was clearly longing to be anywhere else. She wasn't friendly, never smiled and took zero pride in her job, We waited 16 minutes for our food (remember, we are the only two customers waiting for food) and were surprised by the portions. My daughter and I both ordered the Honey Seared Chicken with rice, she ordered the child portion, I ordered the small adult portion. The child's entrée was larger than my small adult portion. Same amount of chicken but the kid's bowl had more rice. I attempted to retrieve forks but they were out. I couldn't catch the eye of any employees until I had stood at the counter for more than a minute patiently waiting. Finally, an employee went to the back and hand washed forks for me. Both soda machines were out of the two beverages my daughter wanted. One machine was out of ice. Our table was filthy, we would have moved but they all looked dirty. Floor was a mess. Employees resembled zombies. Good parts: Food tasted good and as we left a zombie floor sweeper came to life and thanked us for our business. I'm not sure if I'll return to this restaurant. The employees made it pretty clear they didn't want or need my business. Too many other places to spend my money and feel like a $17 lunch is less effort than making my own food at home.

Waited 20 minutes for my food; they just brought me the completely wrong entree. I let them know...no apology, but rather a blank stare. Then they bring the "right" entree with steak rather than chicken and ask if I want it, even knowing it was the wrong thing. Really??? Umm, no. I'd like what I ordered please. When the real entree I ordered finally came it was definitely not worth the time, or the trouble. And at no point did anyone offer anything remotely resembling an apology. Never again.

Three words. Chicken lettuce wraps. How do they make them so delicious?! It blows my mind that Pei Weis' can only be found in the suburbs - I much prefer the fast casual environment to their overpriced and stuffy sister, PF Changs. The service is speedy, the food is fantastic, and fortune cookies are at your disposal, along with a soda fountain hosting over 100 different flavors. Well done, PW, well done.

I love PF Changs, so was excited to try this place, despite seeing such mixed reviews. I stopped by for lunch, and was underwhelmed. I started with a bowl of Hot and Sour Soup which was neither temperature nor spicy hot, and more gelatinous than soupy, and too much soy flavor. I had the Thai Dynamite shrimp which had okay flavor, but way too much onion, and not enough sauce (over fairly dry rice). The biggest disappointment was the service. I was put on a polite "hold" by the gal at the front counter, while she organized table numbers before I was allowed to order. I was dining alone, and sat at a two top instead of at the bar. My personal favorite was when my lunch was delivered, the server set the plate down across the table from me at the empty seat - not in front of me, without even a word and without eye contact or acknowledgment. Then mid-lunch, a different server decided to scoot another table along-side mine, to make the table a four-top, for no seeming reason, without even looking at me. I would have been satisfied with eye contact or an "excuse me" - but nothing. Interestingly, I will go back, but will likely try a different location. I am always eager to give a place more than one try, and a guy sitting elsewhere in the dining room (which has more of a cafeteria vibe) had a dish that looked really delicious (once I figure out what it was).

I rarely write reviews, but my experience here was so awful I feel compelled to write one. I went in and placed a take out order. Another lady had a take out order either before or after me. Both of our orders were in the window to be packaged. The cashier packed the other order up and though my order was in the window she didn't pack it up. She proceeded to take another order and I waited to see if she would then pack my order up, but oh no!! She was about to take another order when I pointed out to her she needed to pack up my order. To top everything off I get home to eat my King Pao shrimp and I only have 3 peanut halves in the entire dish. I will not be returning to this location and will not recommend it. If I could give it a negative 5 stars I would.

I used to go to this pei wei frequently, however I have not eaten here in years. I stopped by for to-go and my goodness, has this place gone downhill. I ordered the sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, and some crab cheese wontons. The wait was long, but not unreasonable. What did however annoy me was the fact that my food was finished and sitting on the counter uncovered for literally 10 minutes before it was covered and bagged. The wonton of course were done before the rest of the food, so they were cold by the time I left with the food. Oh and the girl who "helped me" was completely aloof and somewhat rude, shoving my credit card and receipt into my hand, and then when I asked for chop sticks she gestures towards the utensils in the dining area and grunts. Really not getting a warm and fuzzy so far. As far as the food, starting with the wontons, they literally smell and taste like low tide at the beach. They are so foul tasting I didn't swallow the wonton I was eating for fear it had spoiled. The chicken fried rice was OK, but very bland and the chicken element consisted of a couple big chunks of chicken, one of which was pink in the middle (underdone) and the other had a razor sharp bone in the middle. The sesame chicken was OK, but the serving was so small I wondered if they gave me the new, healthier, "small size" instead. Of course I paid for the "regular". All in all, terrible experience and a total waste of money. I won't be returning.

Excellent, fast Asian food!!! I love this place, much better than P.F Changs, and way cheaper. I have not had a bag dish yet. The staff at this location is not as out going, but they still manage to get the job done. The dining area was clean and so were the bathrooms. The dining area is modern. It is a great place for lunch date, quick dinners, and is kid friendly.

Went here after a sunny afternoon out and about. We were looking for a real Chinese restaurant but were unable to locate one, so we ended up here. My mom liked her kung poa chicken I guess here they grill it instead of steaming it which she really liked and stated it had good seasoning. I of course had the sesame tofu. It was alright. I ate it. The seasoning/ spice was different then your regular sesame had good slices of tofu in it. I really liked their spring rolls. I wish I could have just gotten those. As stated in other reviews parking here dose suck especially during the prime working mans lunch hours. This place gets packed so much so we were almost unable to find a seat. Another great aspect was a grab your own fortune cookie bowl. One really bad aspect only one bathroom for each gender. So if you are here on a major lunch break and need to pee GOOD LOOK. I think I grabbed a fortune cookie that stated at the end of my meal "I for see you having to wait and hold in life."

Ah, the Pei Wei. As PF Chang's casual service cousin, Pei Wei serves up the famous (I'm told) lettuce wraps along with a smaller selection of items similar to PF Chang's. I enjoyed my Lo Mein with tofu and of course, shiitake mushrooms and my girlfriend had some kind of brown rice magic chicken dish. The best part about Pei Wei is how easy it is. The quickserv system lets you enjoy a real, high quality dinner at an affordable price and without spending as much time as you would at a full service restaurant. Only downsides? Smaller menu.

Wow - I had one good dish here awhile ago - soba noodles, but it has since been discontinued. Everything that I have tried on the menu since then has been horrible. This last time - I got pad thai - how can you screw that up? It was horrible - do not order the pad thai - probably from any pei wei. My sis got some Thai Noodles - i forgot what exactly - it was better, but not great. Spring rolls - why do they still call them spring rolls when they are fried - that drives me nuts everywhere they do that - seriously . .. they were very meh Try chipotle or the sandwich shop next door.

I love Americanized Chinese food. There, I said it. This is PF Chang's foray into the fast casual food business and I love me some Changs. This is exactly the same quality and taste as Chang's but much cheaper and faster! The place gets super crowded but the Manager made a good job of making sure everyone had a place to sit. Friendly and fast service, this is a great takeout or sitdown place. They even have a patio for nice sunny days. You can add brown rice to any order for no charge. Awesome!

Been here quite a few times and have never had any complaints! Food is fresh and there's decent seasoning and you can see them making your food in the open kitchen. Parking sucks at the location, so be aware!

I love this place! They usually get the food right and the staff is usually pretty good. A tip is to expect to wait a bit during the weekend evenings as they get busy and the sitting area is kind of small.

Parking SUCKS! The food was allright. For less than $20 the wife and I each had a small bowl.

Looking for gluten free. This is a challenge and pretty much salad is you choice. Bummer. Quality of food good. Basically PF Chang with fast food atmosphere. They have a nutrition guide however not very helpful if you are looking for ingredients for food allergies. Serving sizes were good however be aware that you may be ask for a selection of brown rice vs white rice even though that selection does not have rice included. Up charge. Extensive menu and nice staff. Slow on getting your food. If you are in a hurry or a starvin Marvin or looking for healthy you might stick with Chipotle. PS parking is a challenge

Well..... The first time I went there it we really good Thai dynamite...wontons. But ever since that time (3-4 years ago) when I get the craving I return to complete disappointment, vowing to never return. I'm writing this in hope that I can forget what was once pei Wei and remember the burnt dry over onioned entrees they put out now.

This is the 2nd Pei Wei I've eaten at and I always enjoy the atmosphere and experience. I always like to try something new and I enjoy the spicy dishes. The food is usually pretty high in sodium, but what do you expect with an Asian dish? I have a Korean aunt, so I know what quality Asian food can taste like. For a fast food joint, they do all right. Its not superb, but hey, its fast food. For the price, its not too bad. My experience here was awesome until I got home. I literally have never had an experience like this before. But, sparing you the details... I've never been sicker faster, or to such a degree, and then been rid of it all and felt so good so fast. I went from sick as a dog, to a clean bill of health in about 10 minutes. As I've eaten at different Pei Wei's maybe a total of 6 times, I'll chalk that one up to the spice, even though its never happened before. However, if I'm sick like that again after visiting this place again, I won't hesitate to give it a 1star.

Fast eclectic Asian. Not authentic but quality helps their cause. Good fresh vegetables and brown rice availability. Don't bother with the hot n sour soup. Too much corn starch and soy sauce.

After a long day in the mountains, we were craving some Asian food and Pei Wei was a) on the way back to our hotel and b) "by PF Changs", which instilled false hope. What we ordered for carry out: Bowl of Hot and Sour Soup, Teriyaki Beef on white rice, Ginger Broccoli with vegetables on brown rice, Thai Dynamite with shrimp on fried rice, Pad Thai with vegetables and tofu. Total: $40 plus change. Every entree as over sauced, over salty and/or over sweet. I love the concept of fast casual Asian fusion, but our first (and last experience) at Pei Wei's was a fail. Life's too short to eat food this bad.

Recently, I became a fan of Pad Thai. I somehow made it through the first 33 years of my life without ever touching this dish. So, with two hours to kill in the middle of a very long work day I hopped in the car with the girlfriend. She had been there once before and thought I would like it, especially with my recently discovered love of peanuts. :) Pei Wei is a quick-casual restaurant, there's no doubt about it. You order at the counter, and take your number with you to a table; just like you would at Tokyo Joe's or Noodles & Company. I don't mind that, since it tends to save me a little bit of money. She was right about my liking it. We started with the Crab Wontons, which I try out anytime that I go someplace that serves them. They were served on this amazing sauce. and tasted absolutely fabulous. I was slightly disappointed that they weren't served a little before my noodles, but I'll live with that. After that I enjoyed a delicious bowl of Shrimp Pad Thai. It had a generous amount of peanuts, with a wonderfully flavored and spicy sauce. The scallops were cooked to absolute perfection, and I was even able to eat some chives, something I typically have to avoid... All in all, this was a very good meal, but I have a couple complaints. 1.) The portions are huge, and there is no lunch menu. This means that I spent $25.00 on a meal for two people at lunch. I don't typically think of that as 'lunch price'. 2.) Even in the middle of the day I though the restaurant was kind of dark. I tend to like my lunch places brightly lit and brightly colored. The red floor covers the 'brightly colored' but the windows seems to be heavily tinted and let very little light in. If we're scoring on food alone, I give it a give from one visit. I'm taking back a point because, with a food runner, I didn't get my appetizer before my meal and the atmosphere was slightly depressing.

I've given this place three chances but everytime, I'm extremely disappointed. I will never go back. The rice is bland. The deep fried dishes are soggy. Three strikes and you're out. Good service is the only good thing I can say.

I was looking for a quick bite for lunch after an appointment by the Colorado Mills. I had wanted to go to Pei Wei for about a year, but just never stopped in before. So on this day I decided to finally give it a try. I liked how you order at the register, and then they bring your food out to the table when it's ready...much quicker than a sit down restaurant...and a little cheaper. Now sometimes I am a little...how you say...ditzy? I just am horrible at paying attention, most of the time. I looked over the menu and noticed the Dan Dan Noodles, one of my favorite dishes from P.F. Changs. So I ordered that with a cup of Hot and Sour soup. I was so excited that some place other than Changs had Dan Dan Noodles! Especially since I've never seen them in any other restaurant! First came the soup...I thought it was horrible. I had 2 spoonfuls and pushed it aside, anticipating my noodles. It seemed a little thick for soup, and just kind of grossed me out. Then my entre came. After one bite I was amazed: exactly like P.F. Changs! Oh they were so delicious! With ground chicken, cucumber sticks, and bean sprouts...and much cheaper at only $6.75, compared to about $10 or $11 at Changs. I was so excited to tell my husband that I found Dan Dan Noodles for half the price! I even wondered how they were able to get away with having their dish exactly like Changs. I finished my meal and grabbed a to go menu to show my husband. Later that night I pulled out the menu to talk about how excited I was about lunch and FINALLY noticed one little sentence on the front of the menu: by P.F. Chang's China Bistro. Oops...seemed to have overlooked that earlier. My husband laughed at me, due to the fact that it was yet another example of me not paying attention....and apparently it is a widely known fact that Changs owns Pei Wei. And he even claimed to have told me that before....I just didn't remember....or didn't pay attention at the time. I felt a little silly, but that quickly faded when I noticed a dish on the menu called Pei Wei Spicy Chicken. Hmmm....I wonder if it is anything like Chang's Spicy Chicken...my other favorite dish from there. I am looking forward to going back to find out!

Well, with all of the "real" Chinese places in the bay area, I guess that explains why there is no Pei Wei within about 100 miles of where I live-- closest one would be in Sacramento... ... but anyway when I lived in Denver, I liked this place. The coconut curry chicken was my favorite, and it was nice to be able to get brown rice and different kinds of iced tea.

Wow, reading the review below me, seems like I have always had a different experience. I go here often for a quick healthy (can be) lunch. As I have said before, I am like Sally (when harry met sally) and they let me switch out what ever I want there. I love the shrimp and lobster sauce, steam the shrimp, sauce on the side, spicy, add veggies with brown rice. So, that MIGHT not be on the menu, but they make it for me each time and it's yummy! :

I just love this cheaper version of PF Changs! The food tastes identical to the items I've ordered at Changs and for about half the price! This is a great place to grab a quick bite if you are shopping or meeting your honey for lunch! The lettuce wraps are great! The Cashew Chicken wonderful and the servers are very friendly and helpful.

we have been there twice before, and food was ok, but the sauces are kinda bland. However i just discovered the chicken salad, it is great. Proof that a good salad in a 'fast food' is feasible (it is not really a fast food, but neither a 'waiter' restaurant). Anyway, i liked it, at least when we have to go, i know what to order. It is better than Tokyo Joe (accross colfax) that is merely a bowl of rice with stuff on top. This being said, sauces at tokyo joe are tastier so there you have it.

I thought it was an interesting diner/fast food type set up. The food was average, nothing special, but I appreciated all the vegeterian and seafood options, as well as the ability to swap out noodles for brown rice.

The dishes at Pei Wei tend to be heavy with sauce. I've been a couple times, and I've been disappointed both times. They always seem to be out of chicken or shrimp or some other main component to their meals. My basic need of fried rice can't even be met - they only offer white rice or brown rice. My roommate loves Pei Wei so I guess it's just a matter of opinion. I won't be back any time soon, though.

I wish I could rate this zero stars for service alone. I realize that when you're at a fast casual eatery the expectations should be a little more relaxed but this place sets a new low. We came in the mid afternoon and the staff seemed very inconvenienced by our very presence. First mistake. A guy at the register had the personality of a piece of cardboard. We paid $2 extra for a large order and got another small order, both gluten free, of two chicken dishes from their selection of five dishes that are gluten free. No thank you, no hellos, no anything from these staff members. We are truly hoping we don't run into issues here either with gluten free cross contamination. We sat down, looked for high chairs for the kids and saw some disgusting chairs that were in need of a deep clean. We asked a young lady who was on her cell phone up at the counter if she could clean them, and she dispatched the register guy to do it. She went back to her cell phone and socializing with the other employees. The register guy did a quick wipe down of the chairs but they were still bad, so we cleaned them with wipes ourselves. Our food came and the staff was happy to resume their socializing and cell phone use at the counter. One of the cooks had a pretty wicked hacking cough. It was pretty obvious that our dishes were mostly rice and a meager amount of meat- about a cup each. There was really no differentiation in the small and large orders. Everything tasted okay but to be honest, we just wanted to get out of there. The place was filthy. The floors and chairs were full of debris from lunch and with a staff who seems to care more about their social lives than their jobs and the customers paying the bill, it makes you wonder what else is going on behind the scenes.

If if could give negative stars I would. Stopped by tonight for a quick dinner as Pei Wei used to be so good. Not anymore. Loud hip hop/dance party music going on - awful. Fancy coke machines a major disappointment - one totally out of order and the other one with half the flavors marked empty and really gross unidentified stuff down in the ice drain. Shudder. Food came out as ordered but was just not good. The ratio is off. You get all noodles, few vegetables and fewer proteins. Heavy sauce, goopy and food court quality. Low quality awful meal. At $25 for dinner for two this was a major disappointment. We didn't even take our leftover, just left it all on the table. Of course no surprise that no one ever came over to see how it was or check in.....they were too busy cleaning up the kitchen at 8:20 on a Friday night. This always concerns me when I know they are making my food while running kitchen clean up procedures as well. As other folks have mentioned restaurant was dirty and in disrepair. Digital menu board up front had a big crack in in. Front sign was totally out and dark when we pulled up. How do you let that happen? Coke machines not 100%. Dirty with napkins on the floor, dirty tables, dirty condiment station. Framed photos on th wall In the back look like someone drew across them with a marker. Just a mess. We won't ever be back. Save your money and go somewhere else.

We ordered take out, it was supposed to be ready by 6:40pm. We did not receive our food until 7 pm, although we did watch it get cold sitting on the counter for 20 minutes. We don't know why the employees were unable to put the boxes of food into a bag and give the bag to us. It was all there- sharpied abbreviations on the side of our food, growing ever colder and less appetizing. Don't give me a time estimate if it isn't realistic. Nobody likes to stand in a crowded take out area, surrounded by other irritated patrons waiting for their overpriced lettuce wraps.

The food is what it is, not bad but not great. This location has some of the slowest employees, I think I've given up. I even called in my order to speed up the process and it took ten minutes to ring me up and give me my food. I was the only customer in the take out line and could see my food the whole time. Employees look directly at me waiting but continues to restock cups and fill other takeout bags while I waited.

This is my first time coming to this location all other times it was the one in Littleton which is by far better than this one. The thing that pissed me off the most was that we waited 30 minutes for my food. Then I went up asking where it was. I get the response of " oh yeah we will start on it right now. THIRTY MINUTES AFTER I ORDERED THE FREAKING FIOD AND THEY NEVER STARTED ON IT. so I go and sit down. 15 minutes later I go back up. THEY STILL DIDNT START IT. HE WAS JUST THEN PUTTING THE CHICKEN IN THE PAN. Finally I got a refund and another ten minutes later got my food which tasted horrible. The Littleton location is so much better. This one sucked so bad. DO NOT COME HERE.

Yes it is a mall chain but for all that, pretty ok. Not great, but certainly good. Pretty much the same as pf chang's at half the price (no wait service but let's be honest PF Chang doesn't have good service anyway!). Had the chili ramen - basically spiced up lo mien but not bad for $7. It's fast and cheap.

I eat here almost every time I travel to Golden for work. I get the spicy Korean w/ tofu and vegetables + brown rice. Lots of veggies and spice. I especially love that vegetarian & spicy entrees are marked as such. Sure its a chain and not the same as real Thai or Korean food. But when traveling, this place is tasty, fast, and easy for take out. Also, I see some reviewers have had issues with the staff... I have never had a problem. All have been polite and accommodating. I also slipped on the ice once (as mentioned by another reviewer), and they went out and salted immediately.

THE GOOD I will tear a chop chicken salad UP. So good! The edamame is simple, perfectly steamed, and served with a little bowl of salt! Plus the price is excellent! Service is so prompt, polite, and warm. The beer selection is nice. Small, but thematically appropriate, and tasty. They have lemon and ORANGE wedges for your beverage. Water with an orange slice in it? Total win! THE BAD Literally everything else on the menu. It's too sweet, too saucy, too salty, too everything. But we are a nation of excess. If you like P. F. Chang's, you will almost surely LOVE this place. I not a big fan of either. Want a custom order? Well, all sauces are pre-made, so you can't get that fixed. If you want to alternate things, like this dish with that sauce, or half sauce, low salt, etc ... chances are 50/50 they'll screw it up. Sorry. I've been several times with several people, and that's what I've found. THE MEDIOCRE Good enough atmosphere. Good enough music. Good enough prices. Barely. :) MY VERDICT The chop chicken salad is literally the only entree I get here. But I still get it pretty regularly. You gotta make your own choices... ALSO They bus your table. Tip a dollar, for god's sake.

Not so great experience. Terrible sewer smelk that the manager wouldn't acknowledge. I could see our food sitting ready to be brought out for several minutes under the warmer. When it came out it was lukewarm and had to srnd it back. Food was OK after alk this, which is why it got more than 1 star.

  • rebecca b.

Not even sure where to start. First of all, why is there no won ton soup? Second of all, why are there no egg rolls? The overly seasoned sickly sweet sauce on all of the entrees is disgusting (high fructose corn syrup anyone?), and the hot and sour soup is so full of black pepper its disgusting. For some reason, my mother loves this place, but I'm pretty sure its because she doesn't know any better (no good chinese in Evergreen). And so I get cornered into picking up takeout from here every three months or so on my way to the mountains..... it kills me. The fact that this place is next to a mall should tell you everything you need to know. AVOID.

I should preface this with the fact that the food is definitely a "4", but the service has been so horrendous the last couple times I have been there that it gets a 2 today. I love the Pei Wei concept - quick/fresh/delicious Asian menu. The new Korean BBQ is very good. Love the Orange Peel beef or chicken. All of the noodle dishes are excellent, as are the salads. My problem is with the staff - I would love to, just once, visit Pei Wei and feel welcomed by the staff. I always feel like I am doing them a favor by being there and they are annoyed at having to take my order. This is absolutely a culture issue as it is a different (sour) person each time we visit. You would think in this economy, they would be able to find someone with good customer service skills.

The best!!! The people are friendly, always helpful & patient. Their portions are huge, always fresh ingredients, & UH MA GAW! The food is outrageously good! The atmosphere is decent, nice, but too noisy, & always way to busy! I despise their woman's bathroom. Its always dirty, wet, like someone turned on a hose in there to spray it down, paper towels everywhere, & there's only one bathroom, so you're either waiting for someone to get out or they're waiting on you. I HATE it! But besides the bathroom, the restaurant is clean & there's lots of staff keeping up with everything. I LOVE Pei Wei, I highly recommend them. (Oh & their iced tea is fresh & is the best I've had ..... anywhere!) Mongolian beef is my husband's favorite, I like just about everything else, & we ALWAYS get the crab wontons as starters, oh soooo sooooo good! You won't be sorry! =} Great prices & some very good deals, like online coupons, that they offer sometimes. They DO close too early though! (I think around 9pm, which is crazy for a Denver restaurant.)

I think I must have had a bad experience at this one. But then I am used to eating asian food cooked by asian people using their ancestors recipes. Ugh, this was worse then I could do on my own. But we were on the way to the movies and needed something kind of quick. The only real options in that area are these so-called restaurants that cater to the boring American palates. Thus we ended up at Pei Wei. I ordered what was supposed to be SPICY Dan Dan noodles and they were bland, starchy and otherwise a bit icky. I think someone cooking forgot to add all the ingredients except for brown sauce and noodles. I didn't want to send it back for fear of ending up with something gross. My friend ordered the Pad Thai. I tasted them and although they were spicy they did not have the flavor that real asian Pad Thai should have....too much of some sort of weird spice. From now on, I will find real ethnic food instead of settling for ick.

The food is delicious! But sadly, I'm writing this review to make note of some horrible customer service. During our visit a few months ago, my wife fell on the ice-covered sidewalk just outside their takeout entrance. When I informed the cashier, she blatantly ignored my statement and just parroted back the total due for our order. I explained again that my wife had fallen on the ice and that someone really should put some salt out.... Blank stare.. Unbelievable!! I had all I could do to keep my wife from slapping the stupid look off that nitwit's face... We're both very reasonable people, but to be treated like that is ridiculous. We just wanted them to acknowledge the issue and fix it so someone else didn't get hurt.. Too bad.. The food is tasty and their prices aren't outrageous, but i'd never go back to that location!

Decent if you like fast and trendy asian food from a chain restaurant. Good fast service with lots of foodie options. Love their wonton soup and spicy chopped chicked salad. I go there because it's convenient.

I've eaten at the Colorado Blvd location & been semi-impressed, but the Colo Mills location was a total letdown. Don't waste your money, especially on shrimp/ seafood dishes. Not all that bad but a total ripoff for the $$

My husband and I LOVE Pei Wei. Especially this location! The place is very clean, the staff is quick and attentive, and the menu is not overwhelming. I will always miss Blazing Noodles, as they took that off the menu about a year ago, but plenty of dishes are as good! This place has even turned me into a tofu eater! The one thing I always suggest to friends and family is to split a bowl. The bowls are actually 2 portions (if you look at their nutrition facts on their website). If you're watching your calories, it's easy to overdo it here. I am surprised at the reviews about the staff. As a fast casual restaurant, they are nothing but quick and friendly. We've also talked with the manager, who is regularly out there delivering dishes to tables. He's always making sure things are to everyones liking.

I give it a solid 5 stars because what more could you ask for. Talk about service. It came out fast and hot. Presentation was nice and the food tasted great. I ordered chicken salad wraps, edamame and four California rolls. Now... Is this a great place to go for strictly sushi? No. It's a nice added bonus though. The staff was consistent in cleaning the tables and asking if you needed anything. This staff noticeably WORKS VERY HARD. I wish they had a tip jar. Clean, fast, friendly and good food.

We have been here several times and have given up. It's hard to believe this is part of PF Changs! The place was dirty, service both surly and slow! The food was just OK. Lots of rice and short on the good stuff. The use lots of green peppers as fillers to make it look more substantial. Go up to 6th and Garrison to Szechuan Restarant for better food and service!

Incredibly dirty with staff members lackadaisical about clearing tables. At one point, half the tables were full of dirty dishes and patrons were standing around waiting for clean tables. Still no urgency by staff. Food was mediocre at best. Will not be back.

Good food but awful customer service. Don't you love it when you present at the counter and the waitress can't be bothered to greet you at the counter. Even a short "I'll be with you in a minute" would do. To top it off, I pre-ordered our food and there it sits on the counter. Like I said, good food but really bad service.

I wouldn't go to this place again. My food was just ok but my husband's plate was really bad... he's not picky for food and it's the first time that I don't see him eating his food. I tried it and it was gross. Definitely not worth the money. Chipotle is right there and it's better.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
