Usually the pizza is really good. But the last time I was there my pizza tasted to funny so I didnt eat very much of it. Usually the service is decent but this time it was really bad. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager was really rude. She didnt even apologize the only reason she took my pizza of our bill is because i refused to pay for it. She could have cared less that we had a bad experience in fact it was obvious that she hates her job. Wont be going back for a while. Plus there are better pizza joints anyways.

We LOVE the deep dish pizza, get green chilis on it and yum!!!

I enjoy their food and happy hour but the atmosphere is the bar leaves me feeling awkward and not welcome. That has nothing to do with the actual bar or staff but is the general feeling that the other patrons give off. Almost like a locals only kind of unwelcome feeling. Kind of a bummer because it is within walking distance of my place.

A nice addition to the Union Street restaurants. It has the standard Old Chicago fare with pizza's and pasta. The food quality is always reliable and the beer selection is great. The bartenders are spot on and attentive. The best a corporate establishment gets and probably the best option for food and drink on Union between Alameda and 6th.

management- sucks. waiters- suck (and are extremely perverted... esp one in particular....) waitresses- try their best. food? decent. big beer selection. pizza aint bad but overpriced. i think i would go there a lot more if they expanded their menu and hired better workstaff.

I've experienced great food and service here consistently. There is quite a bit of turn over of the wait staff (a few that have been there for a long time too). Best pizza in town.

Danny is the best waiter ever,Super friendly. This place has amazing pizza and the beer blends are great. Definitely will come here the next time I come to colorado. Great pizza, staff, and environment keep it up :-)

Service is not stellar, but usually adequate. Hamburgers and other non-pizza dishes range from poor to mediocre. Desserts are usually pretty good. Pizza is usually pretty good. They have a great beer selection and a cool 2nd story bar. This place is good for the younger, pizza and beer crowd who want to chat and watch the games on the various TVs. However, if your expecting to enjoy a burger of steak, you better not have a picky palate.

Went there last night for dinner. Didn't experience any rude staff, everyone seemed real friendly. They said it would take 20 to 30 minutes to get seated and it did. I just wish they had somewhere we could have sat while we waited. They were very crowded for a Thursday night and there was just no where...except to stand and wait for a half an hour. We had a variety....Chicago Style Pizza, the baked Spaghetti, and I had the chopped salad. No complaints on the food....everything was good. The salad was especially good and huge. I could not eat the whole salad, I was too full. What puzzled me was that at the next table someone had their dog sitting at the table with them eating. This was not a seeing eyed dog...it was a little dog. I cannot figure out why the dog was allowed in...even though it was a small-medium size dog and did sit on the chair. But they were feeding it food which the dog was licking up from the table! Very bizarre....for that they get 3 stars instead of 4.

I am in town on business, my hotel is within walking distance. I was quite happy eating here, not only did my waiter tell me about the ciders on tap, he brought me a sample of the cider I didn't choose just so I can taste it. The Fox Barrel Pear Cider was great! And, I think Old Chicago's pepperoni rolls really hit the spot.

Stopped in for a burger before class and sat at the bar. The host and wait staff was friendly and the bacon cheddar burger I got was delicious. Granted it was a little busy, I had a hard time getting the bartenders attention to place an order. If you go here to eat I suggest getting a table vs. sitting at the bar.

This location constantly delivers sub-par service. They have consistently delivered poor service over the years. After making a formal complaint recently about overcharges, they took 2 months to respond and denied any overcharges. This is simply a flat out lie on their part! Truly, they do not want your business. They will not see my business, nor the hundreds of folks that follow me in the Lakewood area and they seem quite content not to accept constructive suggestions. My advice, avoid this place like the plague and spread the word to all your friends. Don't believe me, just drive by and see how empty their outdoor patio is most any day.

Not really sure why this place is so popular.... Actually do me a favor and remove the word "Chicago" from the name please. This pizza is nothing like Chicago style should even resemble. I'll come back and eat other things though-the club sandwich is good. However, I'll give this place 3 stars for good service and a stellar beer selection.

Food is always great! I've eaten at this and other OC locations and have never been disappointed. I have not received the poor service that others have noted. My favorite is the wings. They're always meaty and the buffalo and Firehouse sauces are great. The upstairs bar and patio are awesome!

So I have been to this Old Chicago a billizon times and usually it is really good! Today not so much... I went with my brother to have a quick lunch. Jenny was our Server and she was really good. The service was not the problem. Here is the story. We placed our order of a chicken sandwich with a salad as the side and a crispy chicken salad. My salad came out first and the lettuce looked really old and just gross. I tried to eat a little but gave up quickly. Jenny asked if she could bring me something else and I declined and didn't want to make a big deal out of it. Salad goes from fresh to yuck in very little time. 40 minutes later I had to flag down another server and ask to check on our food, we had places to be. five minutes later a manager came up to us and told us that they forgot to make my brothers salad and it would be out quickly. She was correct it came out in that same minute. So 45 minutes and we finally got our food. I asked Jenny for the check so we could leave as soon as we could and she brought it very quickly. My brother said his salad was very good which I was happy about. My sandwich would have been very good except my chicken was pretty burnt. I pulled off the super burnt pieces. I didn't want to say anything because I have already complained twice and had to leave. I have been in the industry for over 10 years from bus boy to management and have dealt with the worst of people. I don't ask for much but it bothered me that the manager did not even offer if there was anything she could do to make us leave happy. I am not saying I expected a free meal or something like that but she could of asked and or offered to do something. I left there not happy. I wrote a review not too long ago leaving five stars, A very different experience. I do believe everyone has bad days and I will try it again. I just wanted to point out to management my experience to prevent it from happening again to someone else. These businesses thrive on good customers and I'd like to see this one do well.

I enjoy most Old Chicagos and this location didn't disappoint. Sat with a friend at the bar and the bartender immediately introduced himself and chatted it up about their current beer specials. When placing my order he offered up a suggestion to replace the chicken in the mac & cheese with andouille sausage. It was a good choice. The mac & cheese was rich & creamy and the portion size was large - definitely enough for two meals. As always, good food & good beer!

While I tend to like the food at most Old Chicago restaurants, When you say you take reservations, and then tell us that you can not honor then because it is Friday night. You do not need my business.

My family and I recently moved to Lakewood, and had been looking for a good pizza spot in town. We thought this would be a good place to try; However,I'm very dissapointed about the customer service and handling of food at this place.surprisingly, the two times I've eaten at this place, I've found several strands of hair as I am eating my pizza, which I find very unsanitary. The second time this situation happened I decided to tell the server about my findings; he was very kind and told the manager about this situation. She apologized and everything; but she asked me if I had collected the hairs on my plate. I mean; I know I should've probably collect the hairs to show her; but I found it very rude the fact that she asked me that question.Because I wasn't complaining to get a free desert, I was giving a suggestion. That and not to mention how unhappy the host was, she didn't greet us or anything. Definitely Not planning to return.....

Let me preface this with I have been to this location numerous times mostly because it is a stones throw from my place. I love how this one is laid out, the upstairs bar & patio are awesome. I have never had a bad experience there until, well, now. I came here with a friend the other night for a quick bite and some drinks. We walked in and the hostess (who was rude and in my opinion a little incompetent) told us it would be a 25 minute wait for a table. Then she said that if we didn't want to wait, that the table tops & the bar were open seating and we could sit there if we so desired. We grabbed a seat at a table top in the bar area. We sat there for a couple of minutes and were greeted by another rude waitress that said "you can't sit here. These are for people that have been waiting for seats so you need to move." My friend and I looked at each other in shock. When my friend attempted to explain to this person that the hostess said we could sit where we were, she cut him off and said the hostess was wrong, move please. We decided at that point to go upstairs and see if we could find anything. The only seats that were available were at the bar, which was fine. The bartender that was working upstairs was rude at first too but seemed to calm down after a bit. He then started making jokes, chatting with us and being relatively attentive. This was the saving grace to what was starting out to be a not so good night. The bartender mentioned that Old C's is getting ready to do some kind of restructuring and renovations in the next couple of months. For this locations sake, I hope these changes include some of their staff. If that doesn't happen, I can't guarantee I will be back.

This was not my first time eating at Old Chicago. Food is great and the beer is awesome! The only thing was the first waiter we got.....something was not right. We got ignored. Then I asked and we were promptly sat in another area, the manager came over and bought the first round of drinks. This was not the reason I complained. So the drinks were unexpected! A very good time and not expected at all. Makes me wish I still lived in Golden, I would go back more. Now we just need one down in Pueblo.

Had dinner here one night after looking online for a restaurant that serves game meat. They only serve buffalo burgers which is not that special. With recommendation from the server I had a calzone which was heavy and doughy. I washed it down with a big glass of beer and that dinner stayed with me through the next day. The service was good and the wait staff was attentive. Manager came by and say hello and the server also walk by every few minutes to make sure our glasses are full (water or beer). Over all it was a pleasant experience but some how that "Old Chicago" name suggest something more than calzones and burgers. Price and decorations were on par with other establishments around that area, definitely lower than DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area where we came from.

I have had better food at worse places. My fries were cold and the stromboli was mildly warm. Service was good. I'm not one to send back food because I used to work in a kitchen.

Ive been in this Old Chicago about three times and every time they have their upstairs closed, Im guessing because their business is slow. The food is good, havent had any service problems, just wish they would get more business and get that top bar staffed.

I am suprised to see the 3 1/2 stars for this place! It has THE nicest patio in Lakewood and we have never had poor service here. Even when the place is packed we are able to get drinks and food in a respectable time. When its not as busy, the servers and bartenders are very friendly and helpful! The last two visits, we sat at the upstairs bar with bartender Steph. She has a great, dry wit and is fun to talk to. She can take a joke and dish one out as well. Food at Old C's is uniform and always what you expect. Nothing phenominal but always filling and predictable. If you are going to Old C's in Lakewood, this one is better than the 285 & Wads option.

I stopped in to have a quick drink or two at the upstairs bar and a snack and watch the NFL draft. I was looking for a happy hour snack and the bartender suggested the pepperoni bites and I would agree with the recommendation, they were tasty. One of the biggest reasons I like to visit Old C's is the large beer selection, so if you enjoy craft beers you'll definitely have your pick. Maybe the biggest plus for this Old C's location is the large upstairs deck; to my knowledge there aren't many great patio bars in Lakewood so this one is certainly at the top of the list. (Only downside on it, is that it faces south instead of the much desired western view.)

I used to eat here several times a week, however they got rid of anything good on the menu. The mgt team also came over from a failed o.c. and managed to ruin service here like they did at the old place.

This is by far the best spot in Lakewood. I you're not old and looking for something to do in Lakewood and don't want to make the trip to Downtown Denver, give this place a shot. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I have be to "Old C's" a handful of times and I have never left disappointed. The food is not only great, but the service is exceptional. They make it a point to check in on you no matter if you are at a table or hangin out by the bar. You can come have a great meal or come for a relaxing drink. That's the best part about this place...the ability to be more than a plain restaurant. Seriously. Check it out. You'll love the atmosphere an business of people surrounding you.

I've always liked Old Chicago, and in particular, this location. The staff has always been pleasant. The food is actually pretty decent, But their insane amount of beers is what gets me. Always a new one to try, always a special going on, always delicious. The happy hour food and drink specials are surprisingly cheap and good.

Close and local for me! I've been told this is the best of the two locations. Albeit a chain, the rewards program seems to be a really good one. The food is better than decent. The chicken pesto panini hit the late afternoon lunch craving. IF you're not a fan of super sugary sweet tea, I recommend going a different route. All things considered, I am a fan of Old Chicago. I am looking forward to my free birthday pizza and free appetizer for signing up. It's too bad that they aren't more of a sports bar. No TV's or sports games. I'd bet that the second floor balcony would be much busier if they showed them all.

literally walked in the door and the hostess asked if she could help us. I said, "table for two", she said "chose where you'd like". I said, "I will take the booth" she rolled her eyes and said, "ahhhhhh........it is dirty......................." so i replied "we can wait" and she again rolled her eyes and sighed as if she was annoyed. We left.

We had a real nice lunch at Old Chicago while visiting Colorado! I was very impressed with the staff who were very professional and friendly. I was even offered a free sample of a pear ale, that doesn't happen very often!! The pizza is very good here, the crust actually tasted like it came from a bakery on our pizza which was a special not on the regular menu. The kids got a Chicago Thick pizza which I was surprised didn't take any longer to prepare than our regular crusted pie! We had a nice experience at Old Chicago and if we ever happen to find ourselves in Lakewood again, we'll be back! The rooftop patio looks like it would be awesome on a weekend night!

I came in last week for some beers. I had a pretty awesome experience but I didn't order any food so, I can't really comment on that. I will say the flights are super cheap and they have a huge selection of beer and food and that's more than I can say for other places in the area. Also, their staff is pretty friendly and helpful.

Had dinner here tonight and as always the food was excellent. However we did have an issue with a call one that we ordered that came out way wrong. Without hesitation the server took it back and offered a new one that was great. It took a bit for the new one to be made and when it arrived it was the manager who delivered it. He apologized for the mix up and said it was taken off the check. WAY TO GO it was a pleasant surprise that far too many restaurants haven't figured out. Thanks Old Chicago We Will always remember this.

This place has an amazing rooftop! I absolutely love sitting up there and that's what brings me back here instead of going to a non-chain. The first time I came here, their beer taps were broken and that was annoying. When I think Old Chicago, I think beer. And I don't order bottles or cans at restaurants because I can have those at home. I realize that's my issue to deal with, but whatever. My friend and I both ordered calzones which seemed small, but they were good. The second time around I had a really good panini with chicken, tomatoes, and spinach. I loved it! We also ordered the fried zucchini appetizer, which I liked. Both of us had spicy fries with our sandwiches and I liked them, but my friend thought they were too spicy. So, yeah, the food here is good, but my one hangup is the service. Neither visit was it very good. This last time our waitress was a bit...pretentious? We were eating our zucchini and she walked by and said, "I don't know if anyone has ever told you this, but if you squirt that lemon on the zucchini it will enhance the flavor, that's why it's there." Then she walked away. My friend and I were both confused by the comment, because it was totally unnecessary. We understand she was trying to be helpful, but she just came across as a know-it-all. It was really awkward. She was really slow, too. And she kept forgetting our boxes, etc. Anyway. I like it here because of the roof and that is why I will be back. Plus it's really close to my work.

A couple of my workmates and I stopped by for lunch one day. PLUSES: Our waitress was fabulous. Like the definition of a great waitress. Apparently government employees get 10% off and when she found out we were all government employees she re-ran our checks without us even asking. Just great. We all got the lunch pizza buffet which was super quick and a great deal. AYCE pizza for $8! My caesar salad was very fresh, with huge chunks of shaved parmesan. The rooftop bar/patio is really nice. MINUSES: The pizza was good, but I would say it was Pizza Hut quality. Like good, but I expected better. I was also super bummed that none of their deep dish pizza was on the pizza buffet. I really wanted to try it! The buffet was backed up too, with almost no pizza on it when I got there; they were really slow to put out more so people were circling. Overall, I would go back, I just expected beter.

Good place with good food. Sat on the patio as inside was too loud and packed. Ordered a big salad and it was very tasty. Service was a little slow, but again, that could be due to the aforementioned comment that they were packed. Will be coming back.

Ryan is a great server, food is good and the beer is abundant and cold. All in all, a good watering hole.

We checked in here and we ordered sodas but there weren't a lot to choose from so we got salads and bread but the bread had to be asked for twice so when it came it had to much oil on them and it sorta didn't taste well. We got our food and it tasted ok and the roof looked like a good place to eat.and the decor was pretty reasonable. I ate the chicken fingers because they looked good from what other people ate them so I gave them a go.

The breakdown: The downstairs bar (while waiting for our patio table) and bartender: 4 stars The beer/beer selection: 4 stars The upstairs patio: 4 stars (I'm such a sucker for patios) The food: 2 stars The service: 2 stars We've been to other Old Chicagos and the food is generally good (as good as one would expect from an Old Chicago). This time however, we were disappointed. We split sicilian pepperoni rolls with marinara sauce, a classic calzone, and a chicken pesto panini. Attached to the bottom of my panini was a nice large chunk of something burned (gross). The portions were more than enough (we went home with leftovers). However, the food obviously had been sitting out for a while before being brought to our table. The server tried to blame the girl who brought the food, but in my opinion, it's her responsibility to check that on that kind of stuff. I've noticed that out here in Colorado, you can't let the food sit out for even 5 minutes or it dries out.

I will respond to the inevitable Windy City protest at the start. Old Chicago definitely is not Giordano's or Lou Malnati's when it comes to Chicago deep dish pizza. Still, the pizza we had last night was really pretty outstanding. This was our first visit to this Old Chicago location. We used to go to the 32nd and Youngfield location with some regularity until they closed that store, and last night was our first visit back to Old Chicago since. We're pretty much creatures of habit at Old Chicago - deep dish pizza and salad. The salads are nice - both garden and Caesar. They're good sized, served on a chilled plate which is a simple but nice touch, the lettuce and veggies are fresh and crisp, and the croutons crunchy and well seasoned. They're also a good value at under $3.00 with the purchase of an entree. I think we've only had two pizzas at Old Chicago - the Chicago 7 (combination - 7 meats and veggies) and the Double Deckeroni (an almost traditional deep dish pizza with abundant pepperoni but with a twist - they paint the crust with hot wing sauce before constructing the rest of the pizza). We had the Double Deckeroni last night, and my apologies to devotees of Ditka and Da Bears, but that Chicago style pizza in Broncoland last night was one really great pizza! It's also a pleasant venue - fairly rustic, high ceilings, dark enough but not too dark, and the ever-present flat panel TVs turned to sports visible from everywhere. They have a second floor patio, and on a pleasant summer evening it looks like a great place to be with friends. Our service was excellent and surprisingly fast, understanding that deep dish pizza takes time. I want to go back soon to see if the pizza was really as good as I thought it was last night. Might it have just been that I was in a good mood, as I was there to celebrate the Bronco's Super Bowl victory? (I know, the game is still a week away, but this way I got to celebrate no matter what, and if they win the game I can celebrate a second time.) There's only one way to find out - I'm just going to have to take one for the team and go back for another Double Deckeroni.

I was never a fan of Old Chicago, thought their pizza was unimpressive the past two times I've been. Was a little intrigued by the "Oh My Spaghetti Pie" commercials on TV. And they sent me a $10 promo card with a minimum purchase of $20, hey, half off lunch! My boyfriend should've been here so I can force him to order the "Oh My Spaghetti Pie" and let me taste it the same way he "strongly recommends" that I try the appetizer "Sicillian Pepperoni Rolls", lol. I'm glad he did though, beause they are better than the pizza! (One of the reasons why I didn't just do the lunch buffet). My co-worker couldn't have been a better company, I teased him for ordering burger but the guy sure knows how to pick the best one! The Tillamook Cheddar Burger looks so yummy I may have to come back and try that, or their other burgers! Oh, I also had a house side salad to balance the greasy app, I asked for honey mustard dressing and it was very refreshing, just the right size! Will I ever come back and give Old Chicago's pizza another chance? Well, not as long as I'm under the similar impression I have for the Old Spaghetti Factory: everything there is good except for the spaghetti! Hey, both places' names start with "old...", talk about coincidence and irony!

I love Old Chicago as a general statement, but my recent visits to this one have been great. Some of the most friendly bar staff that I've come across. In my 3 visits since moving nearby, each bar tender asked my name, shook my hand, and remembered my name later. Very friendly.

The husband and I decided to try this place out for our anniversary. The only reason I am giving this place two stars is because of the friendly service. We ordered the strawberry mojito and a tall lemon drop for our drinks, tomato basil soup and a pizza that had bacon chicken and alfredo sauce. The strawberry mojito tasted like pure sickening sweet syrup the lemon drop was ok and both had little to no alcohol. The soup tasted like tart marinara sauce and the pizza had very little flavor and even less bacon. The only good thing I can say about the pizza is that they do know how to make good pizza crusts.

If a bartender can't be bothered to talk to a customer about the beer selection, I can't be bothered to spend money where he works. (He might have even gotten me to try one of the slightly-less-mass-produced beers if he had provided even a basic level of service). If a local chain restaurant can't be bothered to have a beer menu that includes something other than mass-produced beer in a state that has dozens of award-winning microbrews, I can't be bothered to spend my money there except under the most dire of circumstances (which this was close to, but obviously not close enough). If that same chain is happy attracting a crowd of cheap beer drinkers, playing trivia and listening to the sound of shouted answers and crappy music, they deserve what they get when that same crowd gets bored and goes to the next generic chain with generic beer and generic entertainment. Here I am, complaining that a chain restaurant is exactly like a chain restaurant. Except that Old Chicago used to be a bit of a step up from that. Maybe it's just this location. I'll have to wait until my co-workers drag me to another one for happy hour to see.

The menu is more varied with lots more offerings than you typically see at a pizza place. We had a group of six, and the service started out to be exceptional, but dropped off a lot as the meal went on. The beverages and dishes came out unevenly, so some people had food long before others. I had the chicken and avocado salad, which was delivered long after the hot dishes (surprisingly). But, it was delicious. I tried a bite of the spaghetti pie, which looked nice, but it needed something more. I thought it was a little bland. The beer menu is quite impressive.

Love this place, I go here all the time. The servers are almost always perfect and great people to be around. The food is really good but could be a little cheaper in price. Beer should be like 50 cents less too! Almost 5 bucks for a pint!! Sometimes I get a pizza with barely any meat that I ordered on it. However, that is like 1 to 2 times out of 10. Plus their rooftop patio is pretty awesome! Be aware with the jukebox though. If you play any hip hop or pop, the manager is going to change it after you paid for it. It has happened to me twice now. The last time I got told not to play explicit content. Which I am confused because it is already censored in the first place. Same type of music you get on the radio. If it wasn't for the no fun policy at this particular location, I would have given this place 5 stars.

So more than pizza and more than beer. Tho place has a decent menu. I had some nachos that could have fed 3 or 4. My daughter had some pasta that was great. Good music in the background, not overwhelming. Several TVs to catch a game. Just a chill vibe.

We had a blast here on Sunday afternoon. The rooftop patio was awesome. Our waitress was friendly and the other waiter working on the patio was funny. He joked with customers and sang and danced. The music selection was awesome as well. 80's and early nineties. A great time before the concert.

5 stars for our server Sam in the bar at the booths. She makes excellent recommendations, handles the tipsy with grace and class and is genuinely friendly and professional. Even brought a taster of her favorite blend. Thank you Sam!!! We will be back because of you!

I LOVE this place. I have gone about four times to eat inside and twice for takeout. First, I recommend going inside to eat. The pizza is still delicious when you order takeout, but it loses some of the yumminess of sitting in its steaming hot, steel pan. So, the deep dish pizza is delicious. I haven't tried any other food, so am limited here. This is my favorite pizza in Denver so far. Service - Every server I have had has been exceptional, but Sam stands out. She was the first waitress we had, and made the experience all the more enjoyable. Beer - I love the create-your-own flights this place offers. For just $4.95, you get to select four different samplers. The beer selection is awesome. Atmosphere - Top notch. I imagine it would be fun to watch Sunday football here, and just might do it before the season is over.

Why four stars? Because they don't try to do too much at Old Chicago. Pizza & Beer with a few TVs and awesome service. They are consistent with the food and there is always something new to try on the beer-front. The offer flights of beer (4, 4-ounce glasses of your choice) that make it really fun to try out new beers without getting roped into buying a whole pint. For me, this makes every time I go in a new experience, with the knowledge that my food will be consistently good. They have tons of beer on tap and for the most part can help you pair with food or cater to your individual taste. Keep in mind, it is a pizza place. I understand that if you go in when it's really crowded you are going to have to wait and deal with large parties, i.e. kids, hipsters, sports fans, etc. But even during the times I've had to wait, the service has been great. The servers know their stuff, are attentive, and make it a place worth repeat business. Ask for Sam!

Ordered appetizers - waited 42 minutes for the first half to come out and then another 5 minutes for the rest of our order. Ask our waitress 25 minutes into the process and she smirked and said "it's still going to be a while - We're busy!" It looked to be about 75% full when we got there..... Very poor customer service - go somewhere else...

Great place, awesome staff, and food is consistent. As far as old chicagos go though, I think they do a good job of knowing their beer, choosing a good rotator list, and remembering who you are. That may be bar 101, but I appreciate the simple things. I just have to say, not a huge fan of the food. Nothing wrong with it, just boring.

I had lunch here on the roof top deck. I ordered a spinach and mushroom pizza which was extremely delicious! I also got a caesar salad which i found to be perfectly dressed. I hate getting salad with too much/ not enough dressing. The waitress was quite slow but the food totally made up for it. I would definitely go back again and sit in the roof top section.

Standard Old C's, you know what to expect. Our food took a little longer than expected to come out, especially for salads, but it wasn't that bad.

The pizza is good but nothing special by any means (I've had much more flavorful "take and bake"). I think we got lucky the first time and now after the fourth visit its kinda sunk in that its nothing special. Apparently we were waiting for lightning to strike a second time. And in hindsight we typically get substandard service from the wait staff. At least two of our visits included a waiter that seemed to forget about us. I don't see myself making much of an effort to go back, but if "the group" decided to head there for lunch, I'd not put up a fight. Meh, indeed

It's a chain. Large variety of beers and tasty reasonably priced pizza buffet at lunch are great. Other than this, it's a typical chain.

This was my first time at a Old Chicago pizza. The waitress recommend what to get, and gave some pointers. We got Italian nachos for an appetizer. ( that was very good + good portion) then the meal we got small pizzas for ourselves. The atmosphere was nice. And for dessert we had 9" chocolate chip cookie. Over all I was pleased with the service we received. It was yummy! I'll be back.

Pains me to do this. I don't know what has happened in the last couple months or so. Change in management? Five for five now, they have not cooked burger right. Served charred on med request three in a row. Took an hour into our arrival to order and eventually receive salads tonight ...and it was the wrong salad, and I was charged for it...then entree shows up a minute later by this time we had to go so this would be second time in a row waiting almost two hours just to have to pack my dinner to go. No responsibility taken by bar manager on shift. Conveniently vanished. .. We even had a coupon from previous visit validating that they are goofing right and left. Just a circus. I am happy to tip and tip well. I can appreciate a busy situation. But, this.....no. Living close we would be glad to come here often and we used to until like I mentioned the last six months every time we have tried it has been fail after fail. At least take responsibility as a manager and try to take care of your regular locals. We tried, and are sad bc it just went so downhill so fast and there are other places we could gladly spend our money and tip for better service. There were a handful of great bartenders, maybe they are just not there when we are or perhaps they have moved on....
