Sadly Id hate to admit this, but tonight was a sad kind of night. But as soon as I got some spaghetti and meat balls with a rich piece of chocolate cake I was in a good mood. I would most definitely recommend ordering or even dining out to this place because the food is fantastic!

I'm from a town just a little north of Chicago, this is the best I've had since I moved to Colorado.

Pizza is ok. Not the best. Service is helpful and friendly. Been here a few times for takeout.

Nice little place in the same strip mall as Subway, Wendy;s, Arby's. Mom and Pop feel greets you right at the door. Great lunch specials for pizza and salad. Try the sandwiches though!! Italian Beef of Italian Sub are top-notch packed with ample portions of meats snuggling inside a fresh White bread sub style bun.

I'm not a huge fan of pizza but I do like Nicolo's pizza. I think it's because of the Italian sausage, I'm not exactly sure why this is better than the average pie, but it is very tasty. Plus they have several gluten free options which is the main reason we started coming here and now it's our "Go To" place. The service is usually good and the waitresses are always friendly

Good pizza. WORST SERVICE EVER! Quite a while back I bit into a Nicalo's pizza and wound up with a staple in my mouth. I called to tell them to be more careful. They said the next order would be comped. I never saw a free pizza. Next it was a 95 minute wait for my order. I told them I wasn't paying (I had already eaten by the time it arrived) and they said "no pay, no pizza". Never again will they darken my doorstep.

This is only for the pizza. ..this is not chicago style I'll tell u that.. the crust is good...the sauce wad bland...it is in need of suger..oregano and garlic... where are the flavors..very bland..no salt...it wasn't horrible but didn't shock my taste buds to where I needed to come back.garlic knot is better! And their not 5 stars either...I will try this place maybe one more time and try something different...no wow factor here to my taste buds. .maybe the chef isn't tasting his food? Maybe he should read these reviews.. nice place..very welcoming but not busy. ..hmmm wonder why

Horrible. Really wanted a Chicago PIzza... this is NOT IT. And worse, they have no idea what they're talking about. I called the joint after I got the pizza and asked them if they knew what Chicago Style was, he told me it means "Hand Tossed." What? Really? Ha! What a farce. I signed up to Yelp just to post this review, that's how offended I am by... A: Their PIzza B: Their Ignorance C: Their Disdain for Pizza Lovers Really, this was a thin, lifeless frozen-esque pizza. I'd be embarrassed if I was them. At the very least they should train their employees as to the difference between "Pizza Styles..." Ugh. I hate wasting money, but worse, I hate to be treated like a moron.

Service was great but horrible pizza. Almost $60 to feed my family of 5 and I would have enjoyed frozen pizza much better for less than 20 bucks. Don't think I'll be craving pizza again for a long time:-(

2.5 stars. Will never order delivery from here again. Ordered a calzone, cinna-squares, and garlic cheese bread. Calzone and cinna-squares were over done. Cheese bread tasted old (some of that is expected with delivery but this was worse). Packaging was the weirdest packaging for pizza related items I've ever seen. The cinnamon bread and the calzone were both in paper bags supported by a cardboard pizza round. So you've got a calzone with grease seeping through and cinnamon bread getting stuck to the bag it's packaged in. I could tell the food would have been good if it was fresher and not overdone, so I would give this place a shot dine-in or pick up, but never delivery again.

After our Friday night plans fell through, we ended up in the area on a craigslist mission, and my husband decided he wanted pizza. Who am I to argue with that? I pulled up my Yelp app to see what was nearby and this was one of the closest and highest rated pizza joints. We shared a large pepperoni and mushroom and came very close to devouring the whole delicious thing. It was a thin crust (they offer thick crust for a few bucks more) and well under $20. The best part was that the cheese pepperoni on top was slighly broiled and some slices around the edge were just a little bit crispy, but not too much. Perfect! Domestic drafts were $2 and they had a special on Fat Tire drafts for just $3. Wines were $4. Our tab was only $22 and that included our two beers plus a $1.25 side of ranch. Our server was friendly and fast. I'd love to try their veggie supreme pizza or the calzones. My leftover slices were just as good reheated this morning for breakfast as they were on Friday night. I love the square-cut pieces because I don't have to stuff myself with crust if I don't want to. This place is a little bit out of my way but I'll have to look into their delivery area.

Eh. Still a 3.5 rounded to a 4, this time based on take-out. We got some coupons in the mail for this place and I didn't remember dining in here until I looked it up on the map. Oh yeah. Well, my review from way back when said it was pretty good so let's give it a go again... so we did. We ordered a large Veggie Supreme (no onions), used a coupon for a free medium cheese, and I also got a small garden salad with ranch on the side. They don't list their prices online, and the paper menu we received with our order is possibly not updated, but for a general idea, some menu costs: - large (16") Veggie Supreme = $20.50 (although I think we were charged more so it's either incorrect in print, or we were charged incorrectly...) - medium (13") cheese = $9.20 - medium one-topping = $10.70 - medium Carnivore (all meat) = $16.75 - small green salad = $2.99 - dozen wings = $7.95 - full cheese lasagna = $8.75 So, pretty on-par with other indie pizza joints. It's no $5 Hot-n-Ready from Little Caesar's, but it's slightly better and at least you have more options for toppings. And speaking of toppings... they really pile 'em on here. Almost too much for me, but at least we got our money's worth. They also put the toppings on underneath the cheese, so in a way every bite could be a surprise. Surprise 15 olives in one bite! Okay, so not that bad, but if you like toppings you'll love this pie. The green salad was crisp and fresh, with carrots and celery. The ranch was still good (housemade or not). The pizza reminded me very much of Pizza Hut's thin crust back in the day. It's been so long since I've had Pizza Hut that I can't say if this is still the case, but it was somewhat cracker-y while still chewy. I'm pretty glad we got the cheese 'za for free, just because on its own it wasn't that awesome (maybe why they put four pounds of toppings on...). Still, we've got some more coupons and it's not bad pizza per se. Is there such a thing? I reckon when I'm craving something more than a $5 pizza this will be the go-to. They also have a 20" extra-large pie now, in case 16" isn't enough for you (that's what she... oh god nevermind). If you're not into pizza, they offer pastas, calzones, and sandwiches, too, all of which is available for delivery (and pick-up). And while they pack their pies atop cardboard rounds inside of paper bags (and cut the large+ pies into squares [vs. slices]), if you go in and really need a box they have those too, as Duder found out trying to pick up our order with only two hands.

Awesome place! Quick and inexpensive without sacrificing quality. Had 4 Cheese + Chicken personal pizza. Hit the spot!

Surprised & disappointed to receive pizza delivered barely warm. Delivery person did not use a pizza warmer to keep it hot. We were staying at a hotel - the person who took my order knew the complete name & address of hotel, yet didn't inform delivery person to bring paper plates & napkins. How do you eat greasy, drippy pizza with no plate? Uncomfortable dinner, which we raced to eat & clean up.

A little disappointed - I was expecting the thick, pie crust-like crust that Chicago pizza is known for - maybe you have to ask for it to get it? Our pizza had a thin crust. And I usually give my son a hard time about the leaving the crust, but I didn't eat it either this time, it was that plain. I thought the pizzas were pricey for the size and quality (we ordered a med pepperoni and a med chicken pesto).

I can't be the only one from Chicago who has actually eaten here, but it looks like I might be the only Chicagoan to review this place. This place confirms my fear of somewhere calling themselves "Chicago-Style" and people who have never had Chicago pizza thinking this is the kind of pizza served in Illinois. And it might be somewhere, but the majority looks better and has better crust. I worked my butt off on the house all weekend, and I really didn't want to cook tonight. I heard a recommendation for Nicolo's today, so I thought I'd give it a shot since it is "Chicago-Style" and all. Now, like they say, not all Chicago pizza is deep dish. This is true. We eat a lot of regular/thin crust pizza too. And I liked that they put it in a bag instead of a box (though talking to my father, he said that trend must have missed him because he couldn't think of any pizza he'd ever been served in a paper bag). In truth, I can only think of one other place I've ever been served pizza in a bag, so this trend might have also missed Chicago. Or be an old tradition. In which case, I'm good with that. I ordered the VEG with no tomatoes, and they got that part right. What I was not a fan of was the crust. And, the pizza looked like it had been sitting around for an hour (which it couldn't possibly have since when I arrived it wasn't ready yet). AND, it was cut in triangles. Fail! We Chicagoans like our pizza cut into squares. I honestly almost took out my pizza cutter to right this wrong, but figured I'd suck it up. The pizza up to the edge of the crust was fine. Kind of chewy. I normally love eating the crust, but this crust was not soft by any means and I just did not want to eat it. It's still sitting on my plate. What a waste. Also, the bottom of each piece of pizza had a sweet flavor, like they had baked my pizza on top of a dessert pan and got some sugar or honey on it. Not horrible if you're expecting it, but I was not expecting it. Too bad... I wanted a Chicago pizza place close to home. Boo.

We always get pizza on Friday nights, and after moving to the area decided to try someplace new. We ordered two pizza's the barbeque and a regular cheese pizza. I was very satisfied with the crust and when we arrived early we were prepared to wait the few minutes but they had everything ready for us when we walked in! We will definitely be using them again.

Terrible pizza that took 80 mins to received. It was cold, soggy, and served to me in a bag??!! If you looking for good pizza...look elsewhere.

Love the Calzones!!! So good, full of meat, veggies and cheese, big enough for two to share! Great place and great delivery! I have never been inside the restaurant and always get delivery!

I was really surprised one of my employees ordered pizza and I had no idea what we were getting. I have to say that is some of the best pizza I have had on Denver since I moved here two years ago. I am definitely going to be ordering all my pizza from here going forward. Just amazing flavor. A must if you love pizza. If I could have gave it more stars I would have. Don't take my word for it just go and find out for yourself and have you mind blown.

Ok, if places like Papa Johns and Black Jacks is going to get a five in the area, this deserves at least an 8! I really like their pizza, the crust is just right adn I really like the veg supreme. There are typically very fast for delivery and really affordable for how big the pizza is. So far it is the best in the nieghborhood and everyone is very friendly.

We stayed at the Howard Inn right across from this place. It was late and we were hungry so we stop by here to order the Pepperoni and Sausage pizza. It was really good. I love the cheese, sausage, and pepperoni. It's not your average pizza. It was hot and delicious when we brought it back to the hotel. Nothing beats good pizza when you're staying in with some alcohol and watching a movie.

The food is just AMAZING!!! But, the women I spoke with on the phone was beyond rude. My credit card didn't go through and she asked if I wanted to pay another way, I said hold on lemme grad my card. She said "hurry sir" I said I will pay with cash. She hung up after saying "sure you will" in a sarcastic tone.

Good Stuff. We were disappointed that Virgilio's closed in Lakewood and scrambled for a late minute replacement. We weren't sold based off of the pictures on the website but decided to give it a try because it was more Chicago style. Nicolo's didn't disappoint. We ordered a medium 1/2 Carnivore and 1/2 Veg. Took 60 mins to deliver and there was sausage all over the pizza which upset the veggie lover but not me :) Pizza was delicious, price was reasonable, and medium portion was more then enough for 2-3 people.

Meh is about as good as it gets. I spent $20 for a small salad and medium pizza. I got the four cheese pizza. It lacked in flavor and if there was sauce on it, I'd be shocked. The salad was truly small with okay dressing. After eating the pizza, I feel so gross and heavy (I only had two slices). Needless to say, I will be throwing the remainder away. It was probably one of the worst pizzas I've had.

This review has potential to become a sort of love letter. Actually, it's going to be. Dear Nicolo's Chicago Style Pizza, We have never met face to face. For years you have been a number I've searched for on Google. A late night phone call I've made at desperate times to fulfill desperate needs. A call you have always answered in response to a request which has always been fulfilled. And tonight, Nicolo's, when I had a request more difficult than all past requests, you gracefully responded with "Yes! Yes, we can do that." (I had decided that we needed to build a healthier relationship.) I requested a light vegetarian, low cheese, pasta meal. And then - before you could so kindly reply - Roommate called from down the hall, "WAIT! Can you humor me and ask if they have gluten-free pizza?" And to our surprise, we were humored! And happy! Before Roommate and I were finished discussing how great it is that there is a place that will deliver gluten-free pizza, the doorbell rang - and there it was! In your delivery boy's hands, our requests fulfilled. There was, however, a slight disappointment. I guess this comes with all relationships: one simply does some things better than the other. And I don't mean to rub it in your face, but my spaghetti sauce is better than your spaghetti sauce. And actually, so are my noodles. Still, thank you anyway, for delivering a meal I didn't have the energy to make. And for providing Roommate with mostly harmless pizza. I will say (since I would feel bad ending a love letter on a negative note) that your pizza is among the best delivery pizza I've ever had. I miss the days when I could enjoy the mouth-watering mozzarella that bubbles on top of your perfectly baked, soft but not too soft, crispy but not too crispy crust. Sometimes in life, gallbladders go bad, dairy sensitivities develop, and we just have to accept that. Just know that I will never forget the days of my youth that were brighter simply because your pizza arrived at my door and sank into my heart- well, stomach. Sincerely, Kendra S.

This place is wonderful! Pizza is a treat food for my husband and I, this place did not disappoint! The zucchini sticks are awesome, the salad was fantastic with the homemade Italian dressing. We had a 10" cheese pizza which is plenty for 2 (after the appetizer of a salad and zucchini sticks of course, haha) and super delicious too. Definitely give this place a try, I know for sure I will be back again!

I'm rounding 3.5 up to 4 because of good service. Tried this place for the first time today. Usually our go to for delivery is Boriello Brothers but I wanted to try something new. The girl who took the order was super bubbly and friendly. She said the pizza would be here in about 45 minutes but came much sooner probably in about 20 minutes. The driver was also very friendly. The pizza is delivered in just a paper bag basically which we thought was odd. I prefer a box for easy storage, we can just pop the box in the fridge, but whatever, not a big deal. We got the 4 cheese specialty pizza, garlic breadsticks and the green salad. The pizza really did have a ton of cheese on it which made it greasy, it was okay but I'll definitely try something with less cheese next time. I wasn't too fond of the ricotta cheese chunks either. The garlic breadsticks were okay but a little too soft. The house made Italian dressing was incredible though. If you get a salad definitely try it with the house dressing, it was the best part of the meal. Overall it was okay, I'll give it a shot again but definitely try a different pizza next time.

We went there for our team lunch for Christmas. There were 20 of us in the back room and the service was excellent! The pizza was excellent as well - not greasy. I had the personal "everything but anchovy" pizza and a salad with their Italian dressing. It was wonderful! They were very accommodating to our big group and no one had any issues with food or service. I hope we go there again for our Christmas lunch and I definitely hope to be there for dinner sometime when I am in the area.

The only reason I can't give it a 5 star, is that we just had the buffalo wings, they were great! The woman who answered the phone was very friendly and they delivered it fast! We'll definitely be ordering from them again. Great place for local delivery!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country.
