Food was tasty, service was outstanding. We dined her at 2:30 p.m. so the restaurant was nearly empty. We ordered from the lunch menu which was significantly less expensive than the regular menu. Lots of food for the price and it tasted great. My chili rellano was crunchy with just the right amount of filling, the bean tostada had a good balance of toppings. My husband enjoyed his meal as well. The waitress never let our glasses sit empty and another employee refilled our salsa bowl when it was nearly empty. We will definitely eat here again.

My son and I came in for a late lunch and there were just a few customers in the restaurant. One of the tips stated that they get busy on the weekends and I found that to be true the last time that I attempted to come to this restaurant. I felt that coming in on the off hours I had a better chance of being seated and having better service. I don't really eat a lot of meat so I found the menu to be kind of difficult for me as far as combos went. I ended up ordering the cheese enchilada dinner. My son ordered the shredded beef chimichanga. The beans and rice are absolutely tasty, the cheese enchiladas were very good, but I would have liked to taste them with the Verde sauce. The chips and salsa were on point. I did see that if you were to order another basket of chips it would be an additional $2. The basket that the boy and I had was more than sufficient enough for us. They had a server come around and make sure the drinks were filled and take the empty plate and I really thought that was a good idea. My son really enjoyed his chimichanga and the beans and rice, he did say he wanted to come back for breakfast though. Since breakfast is my favorite meal of the day I'm sure we can accommodate him. The waitstaff was very friendly and very helpful and I tipped them appropriately. I really appreciate good service and good food and I will tip accordingly. I would have given them 5 stars had the seating been better. The booths were rather broken down and when I sat down I sat right into a huge hole and so did my son so we moved to another booth which had the same problem, but not as severe. The place is pretty full when we left so we got there right on time. We will be back and I do suggest it for others.

If I could no stars I would. This place already had their "open" sign off at 8:40 and since there was a lightning storm that had taken power from other businesses in the area we thought maybe it was a fluke. Ran in to find out they are still open, they stated they were. As soon as we sat down we were told immediately we had 20 min then they were closed. Due to the rushing, lack of lights, lack of music and people we felt unwelcome. We left and are now sitting at El Jimador enjoying music and margaritas (which are not offered at this place)

I recently ate at this restaurant and took a take-out order for my husband. I had the daily special and had to mention the special when I got my check because I was charged the regular price. In addition, I asked for enchilada sauce on my husband's entree. It was covered with a watered down light orange sauce of some kind. I took it back to the restaurant and asked for enchilada sauce, similar to the pictures in their menu. They said "this is our enchilada sauce". Never again. If you are looking for authentic enchilada sauce like you would find at the Brewery Bar II or at Blue Bonnet you'll need to go there or to numerous other mexican restaurants in town who know what enchilada sauce is.

Breakfast burritos are reasonable and tasty. The rest of the day though, is pricey and small portions. The food was really good and good portions when they first opened that location but isn't as good anymore. Still eat there once in awhile.

I have been coming to las fuentes for about 4 years now, they just moved to a great new location on top of green mountain next to the high school. This place has great food and great people. I work just down the street and I pick up breakfast burritos for all my mechanic co-workers almost everyday, we can't get enough Fuentes! If you are eating dinner I recommend the fajita burrito it is my favorite. If you are looking for great green chili with a slight kick then come join me at Las Fuentes you won't regret it. Thank you guys so much for taking care of us all these years and more to come.

Great selection and great food. Warm atmosphere and friendly staff. I had breakfast for dinner and my wife had the enchiladas. Both were fantastic. The only downside is that they don't and cannot have a liquor license because of their proximity to Green Mountain High School. We will definitely be back!

Awesome place to go for a smothered shredded beef burrito. It is now my favorite! Everything was fresh. You have to try it!

The service was great, restaurant was clean, food was good, salsa was thick, and the green chili is very tasty! The Spanish Rice and refried beans were not mind-blowing, but rest of the meal was very delicious.

Great lunch prices and the service has gotten a lot better since they've first opened. My meal came out quickly with no problems at all. Love the family here, they're all really kind and hardworking, and always greet you with a big smile. Had the chicken carnitas which was super delicious!

Walked in at 8:30 P.M. and promptly got told that we had 20 minutes to order, eat and leave. Not a review on the food by any means, but the the service and overall welcomeness was totally lacking.

We love this place though were sad to see the liquor license go when they moved to their MUCH nicer new location. The service is great, the green chili, refried beans, salsa and sauces are the best we have found in the area. Reasonable prices, too.

Horrible!!! Rip off. Service was not good either. Basic food, had fajitas to split w a another person. They didn't bring any plates to eat the food off of and when asked, brought 1. Asked for bill, took forever and just went to front counter to pay and was a lot more than expected. Will NEVER return. Don't waste your money.

I came here after a recommendation from a neighbor and I was really disappointed. The food was bland and the ingredients didn't taste fresh. I had a burrito and the tortilla tasted/felt stale. My wife was unimpressed as well and, honestly, she's easy to please. Nothing was innovative, it was just run of the mill mexican food executed poorly. The service was very slow. To top it off the decor/atmosphere was awful. The inside wasn't changed enough from burgers plus which wasn't changed enough from whatever was there before Burgers Plus. The outside of the building is painted offensive vile colors that made me almost turn away before I got to the door, probably because my wife pointed out that they chose baby poo brown and another color closely resembling excrement. To make matters worse the restaurant has a horrid obnoxious led blinking sign that screams lowbrow. If you are looking for value go to Burrito Express If you are looking for great Mexican food try Tequilas Family Mexican Restaurant, where, by the way, you can get a great margarita (unllike Las Fuentes, which can't serve alcohol). We won't be back and my neighbor just lost some credibility ;-)

This is a good place for a hearty Mexican meal. You won't go home hungry. We dined on a busy Friday night and the service was acceptable for how busy they were. I would rate them 3 1/2, if that option were available.

My new go to workday lunch place. $10 (including tax and generous tip) will get you a satisfying lunch. Service is impeccable. Fast but not rushed. They know how to serve a lunch crowd. Food is excellent and fresh. Salsa and chips waiting on the table. And the salsa is very good. Well worth a visit. Good for office lunches.

I came here a few days after the renovation from Burgers Plus was complete, and was unimpressed. The salsa that came with the chips was watery and bland. The beans and rice with my lunch special were thrown on to the plate on top of one another, and my burrito was lukewarm and crunchy, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp, which I'm sure it had - from the time I ordered it was maybe 90 seconds until my food was in front of me. Since other reviews indicate that the food is good now, I may give it another try. But with the excellent El Jimador just down the street, I may not.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
