this bread is delicious -- i especially recommend the high 5 fiber and the dakota bread. at first, i was skeptical because the bread is really dense but i now realize that that's what makes it so satisfying. the staff is very friendly and helpful. even when i come in the morning and feel groggy and cranky because the morning is not the time for human contact, in my opinion, they're still smiling at me. it's incredible! great bread and great personalities!

Holy cow... I love me some bread, and when it's fresh, hot, and I see it come straight from the oven, I'm in! The "Breadboard" is a great concept where you can literally sample any breads, pastries, and/or rolls that they have just brought from the oven... samples! Love that there isn't hydrogenated oils, corn syrup, or trans fats.. and the prices are really good. We piled up this morning: veggie roll, ham and egg roll; cinnamon roll, a slice of raisin bread and a chocolate pumpkin loaf (soooo good!). All for right at ten bucks! The staff are super cool and felt like family. We're in. Yep, even got the gimmicky "bread card" where you earn points for more free bread! Did I say I loved bread?! Ha, this place rocks. And, while you're waiting, you can watch as they prepare the day's goods - either rolling out the dough, mixing it, the baking process and finally the huge wooden table behind the counter where the breads cool and are cut for consumption! I love stuff like this - any company that allows you to plainly watch the preparation and baking process gets points in my book! They have indoor and outdoor seating - no wifi, but who cares when you're stuffing your face with yummy goodness :) I love bread. Great Harvest Bread Company, so glad you're nearby!

They made about 4 dozen hamburger buns for me for a big bbq. Everything was on time, and they had a few versions of buns I could choose from. Everything in the store is such high quality. I really love the pastries. Need to try the sandwiches.

Great menu, fresh food, and not your average sandwich place. Makes subway look and taste even more gross that it already was lol.

LOVE the High Five Fiber. Delicious and the only bread I'll eat now.

Just moved to the area & tried this place out for a quick sandwich. My fiance & I both had the Russ with salami. I chose the bread with seeds & he chose the honey wheat. Both were good. We appreciated that the vegetables were crisp & fresh & that it wasn't oozing condiments or mayo like some chains. They carry Boulder chips & Boylan sodas. The $2 drinks are pretty small if you aren't dining in & taking advantage of free refills. We grabbed some of their Tru pickles & Crunch Munch Trail Mix. I'll definitely be back for this trail mix. For around $5 you get a little more than a pound of toasted coconut, mini chocolate chips, raisins, cranberries, seeds: sunflower, pumpkin, almond, cashew. Great snack on the go if you are going to be active in the area. As other reviewers mentioned, they do run out of things later in the day. But it looks as though they take call ahead orders. It's a small bakery so I figure it's expected they run out late in the day. Be prepared- call ahead.

Love this place! The cinnamon rolls are exceptinal. Made fresh and still warm from the oven, this place rocks! The savanna bars and lemon bars are equally delicious and the homemade breads, dang, a person has a difficult time deciding what to choose!

Such nice staff and yummy treats. I'd suggest the pumkin chocolate chip muffin. They close pretty early so get there earlier in the day for a better selection! Last but not least, the wonderful smell when you walk in: this is one authentic and wonderful bakery!!

I have always gone around the corner from here to buy my bread. Tonight my favorite place was closed so at first I thought I would pop in to Safeway and buy a french loaf for dinner. Then I thought I have always wanted to try this place. So I went over the owner (I think it was her) said they only make french bread on Tuesdays and Saturdays. So I purchased a $8.50 load of asiago/pesto/wheat bread. It was very blah for all those ingredients and it tasted old. Blah!! They also had some snickerdoodle cookies sold out of anything with chocolate chips. So so for the cookies. Not impressed with this place at all. I will go to Taste of Denmark and get their wonderful breads next time and not waste another penny here. I should have gone to Safeway.

AMAZING! A little pricey, but totally worth it! Fresh baked breads...and by fresh, I mean FRESH. No artificial ingredients, preservatives, or high fructose corn syrup. You just can't put a price on such goodness! The multigrain sourdough was delicious--the best bread I've ever had, by far (I'll never have as good of a sandwich again...). They've got HUGE free samples, so you're bound to find something you just can't help but take home!

Great eat-in spot. The cinnamon rolls are divine. The owner is a gem. Internet available. Gluten-free options. Cuter from the inside than outside. Great gift options. (Packaged jams and soup mixes and bread baskets.)

News flash -- Easter Ambrosia available through Saturday. I got my loaves today. If you have never tried it, you must! It's like hot cross buns on steroids, in a loaf. I look forward to it every year. You'll probably want to eat it for breakfast rather than with dinner as it's sweet. I like it heated (wrapped in foil and heated in the oven), but it can be eaten at room temperature too.

Love their sandwiches! Russ's favorite is my favorite! They know me by name there and accommodate my modifications with no problem! Also while you are waiting you can sample their dessert breads which are delish!

You better go early if you want something. Everytime I go there, they seem to be out of everything. I try to support this bakery, but it's getting ridiculous. What they have is good, and everyone is nice.

The bread is wonderful. Healthy and tasty. I have no complaints about the bread but the girls who work in there can be very rude and snippy. I always have to ask for a credit card receipt and a freezer bag for the bread. In my option customer services is lacking.

This is a gluten free review. Great Harvest now makes two different gluten free breads. They are hands down my favorite bread and I've tried many, many breads. I've tried everything from Whole Foods to Udi's to pretty much anything else I've been able to find and try. I had actually stopped eating bread altogether. So on suggestion I bought a loaf of their sunflower/flax and millet bread because I've been craving bread. They were so nice in this store and told me they were going to start making cinnamon chip bread. After trying the 1st bread and enjoying it so much, I went back on Tuesday (which is the day that they make gluten free bread and no others). I ordered the cinnamon bread and I actually tried a piece without toasting it on my way home. It is even better than the 1st gluten free bread. So I just wanted to get this information out because I was so, so impressed, not only with the bread, but with the people that work there as well.

I have to give this 5 since they now have Wi-Fi available to locals or vacationers. The staff is very friendly and quite well acquainted with their bread products - both the regular menu and the gluten free menu - they are fabulous. The granolas are fresh and good tasting. The products from Honeyville add to the experience for honey lovers and the soups from Frontier are good for these snowy Colorado days. Pickles from Tru are great - small and larger jars available. There is "strip mall" parking so I would say no parking problem but the lots are not plowed out early enough so be careful when driving into and parking on those snow days. I like the seating area but would really appreciate padded chairs. Good entrance for disabled and the counter heights allow for pretty much anyone to overlook what they have to offer. When ordering breads, find out how to keep them at their freshest including how to freeze right. Right now for January they are offering a great deal - buy any Frontier Soup package and get 6 dinner rolls free. They do have a menu so there are the special type breads that they offer each open business day. And, their High Five Fiber bread is back. This is their 10th year in business and give them a call or email card or go in and wish them well for being a Colorado business this long. Beverages and conversations without the noise are nice. While they do not cater, they will do large bakery orders with advanced notice so businesses who have those morning meetings can get fresh baked goods, breads, etc. for pickup.

Meh...not all that great. I had a turkey sandwich that was OKAY but I think I could have done just as good at home. The food wasn't terrible but it wasn't impressive either. Customer service was very friendly so I hate to give only two stars but I have had much better sandwiches in my life...in fact I think my 6 year old can accomplish making the same one if not better. Plus the selection of what you can add to your sandwich is very limited, no pickles??? Boooooooo!!!

This bread is fantastic! They have so many flavor choices too! My favorites are the Honey Whole Wheats and the Monkey Bread. I do love the Dakota too, but am not sure if this location has it or not. The Monkey Bread is a must try, even though tastes more like a Cinnamon Roll than a normal flavored loaf of bread, but nonetheless, very yummy! They also have a great selection of sugary treats like cookies, bars, and brownies. Perfect. Best part...free samples when you go in! Yay! I do love samples. They also have a "bakers dozen card" so you can get a free loaf after 12 prior purchases.

The bread is only okay? I'm sorry, but there's one review in this bunch that doesn't fit (probably why it's only two sentences long). The bread is wonderful! A simple honey whole wheat at the $5.75 per loaf is well worth the price. I'm also a fan of the cherry, white chocolate bread and Savannah bars. With no shortage of free samples and creamy homemade butters to go with them, you're bound to find something you'll like. I've been to many Great Harvest locations and the quality is always consistent. This particular location has a very friendly staff and a particularly good selection of desserts. They also make sandwiches, which not all Great Harvest locations do. Now if only there was a coffee shop next door . . .

This is best Great Harvest I have ever been to!!! And I have been to several (in like 3 states and 5 cities) and omigosh the people that work at this one are sooo nice! Seriously some of the friendliest employees ever! And they weren't just nice they were knowledgable and crazy helpful! The selection here is outrageous and the place was spotless! I tell you what if the Great Harvest's in Fort Collins were like this one I would be there ever other day! Everything was delicious, my favorite hands down though was the Savannah Bar, how is it so good?!?! Why doesn't the GH in The Fort have these?!?!? I would really like one right now with my tea.

My heart... and my tummy... are happy! And also: Roommate's gluten sensitive stomach! I couldn't add the fifth star because of the prices. Don't get me wrong, I understand that quality, especially quality that encompasses both healthy and delicious ingredients, costs. So understand, that while it is a small complaint, it is one that almost cancels out because I understand. I am often a scavenger (and it does take scavenging) to find healthy, delicious items that don't cost you your entire salary. Anyway... on to the food: I'll start with dessert because it is freshest on my mind. (Keep in mind the key word: fresh. The entire store/cafe smelled of warm ingredients as we entered). Dessert was a difficult choice. The cinnamon bars sat on the counter looking crispy on the outside with hardened cinnamon and sugar, but I have a feeling they were soft and warm on the inside. The chocolate chip pumpkin bread that plumped out of their little baking pans called my name ever so sweetly. The cookies, had they not been behind the bakery's glass, might have tempted me just enough to grab a couple and bite into their moist yet crispy being. However, none of these items made it into my little paper Great Harvest bag. It was the black berry-rhubard Savannah bar that called my name from its sample-filled cutting board. The baker handed me a piece of the crunchy yet gooey, tangy yet sweet little bar. He then mentioned they also had a blueberry peach bar available for purchase. And yes, I took full advantage of its availability. Sweeter than the rhubarb bar, but just as good. (I justified its presence in my hands, then my mouth, then my belly by studying the signs in the store stating that they do not use high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oils). As for the actual reason we wandered (or perhaps, purposefully race-walked) from Safeway's exit to Great Harvest's entrance: lunch! We were starving from the sunny morning's Red Rocks workout and decided that we might waste away to nothing if we waited to drive home and actually prepare our own lunch. We heard Great Harvest Bread Co. had gluten free options to satisfy Roommie's needs, so we headed over. I sampled the bread of her turkey sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised by its delicious nutty flavor (gluten free options are sometimes not as good as their wheat competition). The bread not as soft as gluten/wheat breads, but it was just as satisfying as the honey wheat bread I selected for my vegetarian sandwich. I forgot the name of my sandwich, but inside I found: feta, hummus, red onion, banana peppers, wasabi mustard... YUM. My mouth was already watering as I ordered it - deservedly so. While I waited, I sampled the 9 grain bread the baker happily suggested would be good for experiencing with the fresh ground peanut butter from Rose's Creamery. I almost bought the almond butter because the peanut butter was so good, but I couldn't bring myself to spend $9 for a jar when I get the same amount for $4 elsewhere. I couldn't decide if it was the bread or the peanut butter that had my taste buds smiling - I'm thinking both. In fact, the whole experience left my taste buds smiling. I may have to grocery shop at that Safeway more often.

Bread is only ok, the lady who works there is way too excited, but they are friendly. And its a great location.
