Ok place to go. have had multiple problems with a bartender that works earlier in the day (lunch time) if her friends or daughter are there expect terrible service. Including food that is not to order. Also, you will pay for sides like ranch. Must be attuned to service like in Denver or Loveland. If you live in Johnstown head north or south for better service and food. It's really sad that Waffle House in Longmont is somewhere I would rather go for food. And the amount of time you spend there waiting for food is redickulous as well. Just be aware. On that note. The Avalanche Fries are decent as long as they are warm.

Friendly bar with very good food! You have to try their homemade chips. Nice patio too.

Great place to grab a beer, hang out and watch a game in Johnstown, Colorado, maybe 5-10 minutes off of I-25. You will enjoy the good food and service with a laid back atmosphere. Quaint downtown with a 50's feel to it. I will be going back!

Sat down and waitress came right away and took drink order 25 min later drinks showed up and placed order. 40 min later food came and drinks empty. Ordered drinks and 35 min later we got our drinks. Asked for check and 15 minutes of waiting to pay the bill. We finally left. Nearly two hours and great frustration we left. Only 4 other tables were seated. Hardly deserves one star.

Stopped in here late on a Tuesday because all other places in downtown close at 8. Waitress/ Bartender was friendly but I had to ask twice for my drink of ice tea to be delivered. She was too busy talking with bar patrons even though place was almost empty.n Quick review of menu shows this place only features bar food with focus on fried content. I ordered the Bronco burger with side of fries. I figure this shouldn't be Hard to make. Other than lettuce, tomato, and onion, they charge 50 cents each for adds like sautéed mushrooms, grilled onions, and you have to ask for which condiments because it came bare. Ice tea ordered with dinner was disgusting cheap blend. Plastic glass it was served in had taste of soap from cleaning. Place is mostly noisy gathering point for late night drinkers. Little to no decorating with cheap furniture. The Bartender turned up volume of 80's rock music after 9 to almost a ridiculous level. I guess after 9 "the party" starts although no one at the bar seemed to be moving above a heartbeat. I ordered burger at 8:45 PM and by 9:05 it still hadn't arrived. When it did, it was dry and overlooked (I ordered medium). This place really sinks in as not trying hard at all to either put good food in front of you or create a enjoyable atmosphere. Perhaps I expected too much from a small town joint, but if you want to make a business a success, it takes work.

Waited for 20 minutes and we were never even asked if we wanted a drink so we left. There were a couple of guys(owner/manager) going around talking to customers and they never even acknowledged us. Guess bar/restuarant business is not there thing. Too bad because J town could use a good place for locals to hang out and have dinner. Would not recommend or ever go back.

Favorite place in town! My husband and I love to go there for a cold beer and Rocky mountain oysters. The bar tenders are always welcoming. While you're there try their chips!
