I LOVE this place! It's a wonderful combination of local eclectic coffee shop and tasty, simple food in a fun but clean environment. As a celiac I love that I can not just get coffee but I can also get gluten free sandwiches, bagels, and baked goods, including the best peanut butter chocolate sandwich cookies you've ever had, gluten free or otherwise! Not sure about the person who complained about the baked goods not being homemade, because the gf ones definitely are made lovingly by the owner who has children with celiacs. There's also ice cream which is nice because there's not really an ice cream place anywhere else in town, and the coffee is maybe nothing special, but it's good and made well and fast. I just love this place, and if I could I would eat there for breakfast and lunch everyday.

Great little spot in Gunnison. Coffee, breakfast burritos, bagels, wraps, milkshakes, ice cream, kids menu, smoothies, pastries and even seasonal salads. I had a delicious frozen white mocha. They weren't shy with the espresso. Also had a slice of pumpkin chocolate chip bread which was great. My husband ordered a turkey chorizo breakfast burrito (the most meaty burrito they had to offer, two other veggies burritos on the menu) First time it came up, it was still frozen in the middle. But second time it was pretty good. Be sure to look around because the more we sat, the more we saw as far as the menu goes. The menu on the wall is just a tease... Lots of specials written and printed around the shop.

I'm a Mocha's fan. The coffee is great, the staff are happy and friendly, the free wireless is fast, and the food that I have had has been excellent. Food includes their scones and bagel sandwiches. The Turkey pesto sandwich, which can be on bagel, bread or wrap is recommended. Prices are lower than at some other Gunnison establishments. It can get a bit stuffy inside at times, I guess that's my only negative.

Stopped in for an early evening coffee and ice cream for the kids 250 miles short of our destination. This review is based on the coffee and ice-cream. Coffees (double espresso and a latte) were good, with a nice rich blend. Service was quick - although we were the only ones around at the time. The kids has a coffee and peanut butter ice-cream while we shared a chocolate. Ice cream was on point, creamy and good portion size - so no complaints. Service, attitude and food were all good. Based on our limited exposure to coffee and ice cream we have no complaints.

Good cup of Joe. Good fig newtons. Root beer floats made with Breyers brand ice cream and Hansens soda. Yes, the staff talks amongst itself. It didnt take away from my Mocha & cookie, however.

I recommend the turkey pesto wrap. Food is good. I usually just get an Americano and it is typical. The only drawback is tight seating and people that camp out all day. Free wifi is nice and vibe is good. The food is excellent for being in Gunnison. Only draw back is it is kind of pricey. 10 plus dollars for a wrap and Americano. One other weird thing is that if the place is empty and you sit next to the counter, they will shout out your order for pick up rather than just hand it to you. It reminds me a bit of a Saturday Night live skit. I would love to give it 5 stars. So close to being great, but just real good overall.

After waiting in the drive through for ten minutes we finally ordered two very simple drinks....ten minutes later the came out. Coffee was mediocre at best. Oh well did are part in supporting local business!

Well, after a half dozen visits here, I have never once had a good experience here. The coffee is weak, they don't make their own pastries, and the service is appalling. Today, there were five people on staff, and not one was working. I just stood there waiting for my order for over five minutes. Sure will I could have pulled my tip back out of the jar. Even had to ask for them to remake the espresso since it was cold.

Had sandwiches and ice cream for lunch. Sandwiches were very tasty. Ice cream was fine, but was just Breyers so nothing special. Lacking a kids menu for lunch - they have one for breakfast, why not lunch? I'm knocking off a star because it seems overpriced, particularly with no kid options/portions. Also I had heard their bakery items were great, but was sad to find not much available when we were there.

I can't start my day without the excellent coffee, delicious treats, and fantastic serve of Mocha's! Try the pesto wrap for lunch - best sandwich you'll find. This is where the locals go!

I was happy to enjoy Mochas last summer while en route to Mt. Crested Butte. The cafe has a warm and inviting space to enjoy your morning coffee. The iced mocha I had was delicious, as was the homemade brownie. All of the staff were quite friendly and I was impressed with the cleanliness. I will visit again when back in Colorado!
