Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Great food and service, they know my order and have it started as soon as I walk in the door!

My daughters and I will get the lunch / dinner specials that will easily feed the 3 of us and sometimes we'll need a box. Good food, good prices, great service.

This was pretty decent Chinese food. Not the best but won't disappoint. Better than most places like this! Their crackling rice soup is also a must. It was the highlight of the meal!

Was craving some Chinese food on my last visit to Colorado. No leftovers were to be packed because everything was good and I finished it all! Will definitely come back next time I'm in town. =]

Wonderful Inn is the only place order Chinese food from in Greeley. The food is always consistently good and the portions are great. Fast delivery and a good price.

The place has been renovated since I was last there; however, giving this place a second chance was a waste of my time. At the start, there was no Sriracha sauce and only a fork and napkin for utensils. When the food arrived at the table, it didn't come all at once -- I had to wait an additional 5 minutes before I could have start eating. The egg-rolls are okay tasting, but I alwaypreferer California Egg Rolls, not those deep fried spring rolls. The beef tasted like it came fro very low quality, vegetables were soaked in juices, the sesame chicken was okay -- would of prefered more authentic and not the deep fried, breaded version.

Chinese done right ~!~ Wonderful Inn has slick service, yummy soups, delightful Lemon Chicken. Never had an occasion to complain about a thing here --- consistently satisfying for your tummy AND your wallet.

At last I've found a decent Chinese restaurant in Greeley. It's around the corner from my home and has only taken me 3 years to try it! And this week, I'm moving out of state. Oh, well! I went to Wonderful Inn two nights ago, with no preset expectations and was delightfully surprised. I received prompt, courteous attention from the head waiter and from my server. The couple next to me appeared to have been there frequently as they called several staff members by name. My server was Jason who appeared at my table immediately and who accurately took my order for Honey Walnut Shrimp ($12.95). He was happy to substitute mixed Chinese vegetables for the rice which I am not able to eat and brought me a glass of Beringer White Zinfadel, the house wine. The meal and the wine were both tasty. I would like to have been able to try some other items on their menu. During the meal, Jason stopped by a couple of times to check that alll was well, as did Lily, the waitress from the next table. The atmosphere is pleasant and the decor appropriate. Each table is decorated with a different and attractive inlay of flowers and birds, which enhances the Chinese atmosphere of the restaurant. It's a nice place and I wish I had found it earlier 11/28/08- Went back to Wonderful Inn tonight and tried their Kung Pao Chicken. Jason and Lily remembered me, were attentive as they had been, and brought my dinner less than 5 minutes after I placed the order. Earlier I spoke of their excellent service. Tonight was even better. I ordered Hot & Sour soup, but the chef decorates it with crispy noodles. When I mentioned to Jason that I didn't really care for it that way, he went right into the kitchen and returned with a fresh bowl and a dish of crispy noodles on the side. No charge , of course. THAT's good customer service. Also learned that the chef is the owner of the restaurant, which perhaps accounts for the good food. He cares. 5/28/09 Had the occasion to be in Greeley last night and went for dinner. After 6 months, Lily, the server, remembered me! The Hunan Chicken was excellent and plentiful. When I left the bag with the left-overs on the table, Lily brought it out to me in the parking lot! Best Chinese food I've eaten in years!

Best in Greeley! Great food and best value.

I'm giving this place 3 stars mostly because when I order chinese take-out, I'm usually expecting to get a better value than I did. Their food was very good quality but there wasn't a whole lot of it for the price I paid. I LOVE crab cheese wontons/rangoons and while the filling was delicious, there was about a half of a teaspoon full in each one. The soft chow mein was also a bit greasy but I have to say the flavor was good. So, I guess I'm on the fence with this one...will definitely be searching for something a bit better.

This restaurant serves delicious, hot food. It is always consistant and the price is right.

My favorite chinese restaurant. It can be a little pricey so its best to go during lunch hours. My hubby always gets the seasame chicken and I get one with chicken, shrimp, steak, and broccoli. Always great.

This place was recommended by the waitress at our hotel. We ordered chicken chow mein broccoli beef Mongolian beef and fried rice. The only edible dish was the chow mein. I don't know if the cook was mad but imagine pouring a large shaker of salt down your throat and that was the flavor.

Best chinese in greeley! Love the sesame chicken. Hubby gets the shrimp with lobster sauce. Both amazing. Love the staff and quick service!
(5)Casey M.
Best place ever for Chinese food. Good prices and service. Love, love, love this place.

I always look forward to eating at Wonderful Inn whenever I come to Greeley from IL to visit my daughter...love the food...love the service...we have been here at least 6 times and the food never disappoints whether it is eat in or delivery. My daughter has allergies and they always get her order exactly right. You must try the Sizzling Rice soup...delish.

Wonderful Inn has great Chinese food at pretty free decent prices. My personal favorite is the sesame chicken, although that's pretty much my favorite Chinese dish in general. Great fried rice here too.

For a place like Greeley, Colorado, the Chinese food is decent! They've got great daily and lunch specials. For $10 I got chow mien, fried rice, a large serving of beef and broccoli, a cream cheese crab puff and an egg roll. Not bad! It's a step up from Panda Express! Not the best I've ever had, but the people here put great effort and mean well. I hope this place succeeds! Great service!

Staff is incredibly nice, at the top of the list for Chinese food in Greeley. Wife has many allergies and they always get the order right which by itself is pretty impressive. I echo George G's review. Good food, good prices, great service.

While Wonderful Inn will never be able to compete with the quality of the food across the street at Ambrosia, it's an inexpensive way to get huge greasy portions of cheap Americanized "Chinese" cuisine in your face. Sesame chicken is not too bad, the orange chicken was a huge disappointment (but I have this thing about finding THE perfect orange chicken, and it hasn't happened yet). Sadly, they don't deliver (Ambrosia does). Most of their food is served with an over-abundance of grease and oil, presumably to make up for the lack of any special flavour, seasoning, or quality ingredients. There's nothing special about Wonderful Inn, even by Greeley's standards, but it at least has the decency to be reasonably priced and filling.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in town. Friendly courteous staff and excellent food at a good price. The servings are always too big leaving leftovers for the next day.

My wife and I heard lots of good reviews about Wonderful Inn so we decided to check it out. Looking over the menu it was over priced for what was being served. Then when we got our food I was able to eat it, sense I have an iron stomach but my wife ended up boxing most of her dinner up. Which we latter gave to the dogs. The shrimp was old. The chow main was oily and bland. Even the chili sauce lacked heat and flavor. If you are looking for Americanized Asian food with only a hint of Asian this would be a good place for you. But I would recommend hitting up the $1.50 a scoop place next door to save you some cash. I can see why this place could be seen as tasty here in Greeley. But I think that speaks more about the pallets of the people here. I will leave out the part about when we got home from our dinner and movie.

My wife absolutely loves Wonderful Inn. We have had several family get-togethers there. They are very accomodating, so you tell them how spicy you want something, okay? Don't just expect them to read your mind. They have "five" levels of "spiciness". But you can ask for 2 and a half or three and a half or whatever. I was disappointed that on my first attempt to engage a waiter in Chinese, he apologized for not being able to speak Chinese. Go figure. W.I. is a family-owned restaurant with ties to another family restaurant on the Coast. That may not affect the food directly (or it might), but the fact is, I am partial to family-operated restaurants. This one tends to have great consistency in their dishes, and routinely establishes a friendly rapport with customers. Five stars because . . . my wife said so. :) And truly, for Chinese cuisine (Americanized as it all is) in Greeley, this is "woohoo - as good as it gets!"
