Oh boy, how to write a review for GC.... Well, I realize their demographic isn't exactly upscale or for hipster foodies. They do try. The steaks - you must ask for them, they're not in the food bar - aren't bad. Overall, the food is plentiful and varied, but not excitingly good. The other patrons made me ashamed to be from Greeley - what a bunch of greedy, pushing, shouting, piglets. Really embarrassing. Honestly people - relax - they're not running out of chow, and it's really not worth fighting over. I heard the place gets called The Trough. Yep, that pretty much sums it up. The workers there are attentive and hard-working. I wish the ambiance, the clientele, and the chow were half as good as the waitstaff.

Coming from out of town & staying in Greely, CO for 11 days we were out to find a buffet that offered a good price & gave a hearty selection of food choices. Heard about Golden Corral & we were sold on having dinner here. Walked in & was kinda surprised that the buffet area was so dirty. Food was all over the counters & on the floors. Dessert station was something else, no one was cleaning or changing food/dessert so it just got worst as the night moved on. Most of the workers seemed overwhelmed which slowed down service on the buffet & at the tables. Bathroom facilities needed some drastic attention but never seen any employee attempt it that night. However, food on the buffet was great, we enjoyed the many selections Golden Corral offered. Ended up finding a better location out in Loveland, if you don't mind the ride I'd suggest going there.

Went here for my birthday tonight because I've not been to Golden Corral since the one in Fort Collins closed many years ago and I had fond memories eating there as a child. The food was typical buffet food, though the steaks were pretty good. However, there were a few problems. One of them was that the women's restroom was dirty and nauseatingly smelly. The stalls were also so tiny they were barely functional; the doors just barely cleared the toilets and I had to half climb on the toilet to close/open the door, also, there were no paper towels. My spouse made a comment about the smell and filth in the bathroom but we don't know if it was fixed. The bigger problem was that we felt extremely uncomfortable because of the music. The entire time we were there it was nothing but Christian music, including worship songs. When we asked the manager on duty about it, we were told it was on a rotating schedule, claiming that they switch between country and "elevator music" and the religious stuff. While this may be the case, it was not really a great answer. Nor did the manager ask if this made us uncomfortable in any way or ask if he could do anything to make our visit better. His whole response made us even more uncomfortable and made us feel unwelcome. We left early and didn't get our money's worth. We won't be back due to this treatment. The whole experience left a sour taste in our mouth and cast a negative shadow on my birthday.

Filthy conditions the day we went. The food was equivalent to the rest of the restaurant experience. Gross gross gross. Will never return! An unsupervised kid was playing around with the chocolate fountain, no soap in the ladies restroom (talk about disturbing), and sticky jelly lined the side of our table. We also had to go back up for clean silverware twice after noticing smudges on the ones we had initially gotten.

Of all the Golden Corrals I have been to, this is probably one of the best. What they lack in quality, they make up for in selection. They have a well stocked salad bar. I have to say, the steak I got tonight was really tender and well seasoned. Unfortunately, the steak was more tender than the brownie I had for dessert. The wait staff have also always been very friendly and helpful.

Wow some harsh reviews of this place for sure. We had dinner here on 3/23/2014, place was moderately crowded. Food was good with the exception being the desert section where everything had been sitting out too long and was pretty stale when we tried it. The blueberry pie was simply awful and hard. Folks try Country Buffet if you really want a one star experience. Our server in here was very good on this night.

Food is cold, hard, tastless... And dont get me started on the (non)-service. Bad food & worse service make for a eat anywhere but here rating! My daughter couldnt eat half it, due to old reheated chew cud, cafateria style un-edible dribble served here. Most dissapointing!

I was pleasantly surprised by this Golden Corral. Having not been to a GC in several years due to disappointments in the past, I was pleased to find fresher food at this one than I've seen before at others. About $12 for dinner will get you a drink and your choice of dozens of carnivore as well as vegetarian offerings, most of which are refilled so frequently there's little chance of anything becoming stale or off temperature. And if you don't care for decadent desserts, there's always lots of fresh fruit to be had. With such a cornucopia of selections, it's hard not to go overboard at this place or feel guilty afterward. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Any beverages you purchase will be refilled as needed by your assigned server who will also carry away any used plates as quickly as possible. Golden Corral may be mostly self-serve and all you can eat, but please don't forget to leave a tip on the table for this service.

Eeeks is for sure the statement. We had to go to Greeley to visit my grandmother in the NCMC there, and while we were torn on what to eat a buffet always seems to suffice all, in most circumstances. At any rate we chose the good old GC, wait did I just say good ole' GC I take that back it was better put as the over crowded, too small, crammed, over priced, un-nourished etc etcetera......~! I have to say the staff is always attentive and nice, the management is for sure involved in all the works, the food is pretty good across the scale, but dang the environment created by the people of Greeley is dis-gusting and just not my style. GC needs to re-vamp and they did inside with aestetics but room. There is never any room to eat, people run you over like it is the last thing on the grill, or better put it is like black friday everyday in this place. I guess that is good somewhat but jesus!!!!!!! If I get bumped by another KID while getting my food patiently like we should all be doing I am going to start some serious..............okay okay I am getting carried away, for ba jeezers it is a buffet in Greeley............... Let me say this, it is not the food, in fact that is pretty good, it is the people, and the fact the place is over-crowded and way too small.
