Safe good food with friendly staff. They can seat larger groups. I live here and this is one of the three that breakfast places I would recommend in Summit County.

Nice and cheap but food is Mediocre. Nice cabin vibe but even coffee was off and the onion rings tasted strange. Roast beef sandwich was just bad. Bloody Marrys were good.

Great breakfast spot! Food came quickly and was fantastic. Husband got the special, crab Benedict and said it was fabulous. Awesome homemade jam too. Got there around 8:30am on a Sunday and just missed the crowd. When we left the line was out the door... Five stars, will be back!

An oldie but goodie in downtown Frisco. Stopped in for lunch and split a veggie wrap with a friend. No complaints from the waitress or management for splitting something. It was perfect -- fresh, crunchy veggies, a fresh spinach tortilla and some cheese. Yummy. Inexpensive, too. Lunch for three (ok, yeah, we split an entree) was under $18. Def a thumb's up place. No wonder it's been around so long.

Such a great sense of urgency in our server, but still plenty of time to relax. Food was fast and delicious. This was our second time here on our way to the airport after a trip to Breckenridge and both times were wonderful. My only complaint is that my parents wouldn't let me get a mimosa.

I'm giving Log Cabin 5 stars because the food was really good and it was probably my most memorable meal during my entire week in Breckenridge. Unfortunately we couldn't ski because it was -35 degrees (!!) when we woke up, so instead we spent the morning browsing the outlets in Silverthorn. By the time we started heading back I was staaarving. We randomly picked Log Cabin and it was a great choice. The special was chicken pot pie and salad for $6.99. I really wanted the chicken pot pie. In fact everyone at my table wanted chicken pot pie, but I wanted to have a variety of things to yelp, so I deferred to my boyfriend. I was able to steal a few bites and it was indeed delicious. Not very thick, but still creamy, hot and filling. I had the french dip which was perfectly juicy and I loved dipping my fries in the au jus. My mom had a huge burger on a pretzel bun with yummy battered onion rings. We also had the home made bread pudding to go which made a nice snack later on heated up in our condo microwave. I highly recommend Log Cabin Cafe. The prices are good, the food is delicious and the service was very friendly.

Great breakfast! Very classic and great service. I could see myself going here alot if I lived in that lil town.

Great breakfast place with friendly service. I think everybody that lives in and is visiting Frisco, eats breakfast here. Now I'm from Alabama(so I can speak with a little authority here) and the grits are not that great. Everything else was great! Oh yeah, very reasonable pricing.

Delicious, fast, clean and affordable. Everything you want in a breakfast diner before skiing. Built around an original log cabin from the 1800s I can't recommend this place enough. High quality ingredients and line cooks that know what people want - Try the homemade jam!! Malted waffles, eggs Benedict you name it - it's great

They serve breakfast all day! Wonderful! Alcoholic drink specials, Mexican-themed dishes, classic breakfasts, and more. Good food. Quick service,

Great for breakfast or lunch. We stop in every time we're in the area and have never been disappointed. I really like their homemade potato chips. My wife did complain that the hamburger was dry, over cooked and had little flavor. Might be something we avoid in the future.

Breakfast this weekend at the Log Cabin was very good. We didn't have to wait long, which was a plus! I LOVE their Chili Rellenos. I decided to share this time, but turned out it was not quite enough food for me to go skiing & I was hungry within an hour. Next time I'm not sharing!! Staff is friendly & efficient. We always come back to this place!

Loved it. Great reasonably priced breakfast! Good lunch options too. We had the veggie burger, breakfast burrito, and turkey melt. All were great. The side salad was a little meh--although huge. Mostly just ice berg lettuce. Will totally be back!

Decided to stop here on our way back home from Breck. Originally planned to go to the Butterhorn Bakery, but it was closed due to renovations. The place was packed, which to me was no surprise for a Sunday morning. The wait wasn't too bad, and the food came out quicker than I thought it would. I'm a big breakfast lover, and could eat it for all my meals. I'm usually a meat and potatoes type of person, but I decided to order the large as your head, tall stack of pancakes and a side of bacon. I thought it was great. The pancakes were perfect, and even better when I put the house made blueberry jam on top!! The bacon was the perfect pairing of the sweet and savory combination, nice smoky flavor. I also tried my friends breakfast burrito, which I thought was pretty deliciouso as well. The service was a bit lackadaisical and in too much of a hurry to show any personality, but the food made up for that. I'll definitely be stopping by again!

Went with my girlfriend today, ordered the Log Cabin omelet, The Sammy, and a side of biscuits and gravy. The omelet sounded great and looked great, but only tasted like an average omelet. The Sammy, according to my girlfriend was pretty good. However, the biscuits and gravy tasted like it had been frozen or pre-made. Possibly the worst gravy I've ever had. Also a side of bacon is almost $4.00!! I've definitely had better food.

We stopped for breakfast at the Log Cabin Cafe on Jan 31 on our way to the Denver airport after a couple of days in Breckenridge. What a nice surprise and a great alternative to our Breck favorites! The food was well prepared and they substituted carb free tomatoes for potatoes at no extra charge. The server was friendly and very attentive. Our coffee cups were always full ... and on a 2 degree day that was important. We will definitely be back!!

Great breakfast, great coffee, and they have booze available for breakfast to start your morning off right. :)

  • Erin D.

It could have been the much needed early morning snowfall to set the scene, but this place is so charming and cozy. I'm sure I'm like many others, in that I don't like to have a huge amount of food in me before a day on the slopes, thus, the veggie sammy was perfection! One egg with spinach, tomato and cheese on an english muffin...sooo yummy! What a wonderful place in Frisco to hang before hitting first chair!!

I've eaten here three different times with different groups of people. Two times during ski season and one time during the slower summer season. All three were different experiences, but all were the mountain standard four star rating. All three times the cafe was busy, but not waiting line full. Twice, someone in our ski group decided we needed to stop here for breakfast after an early drive up I-70 to beat traffic. So, it must be good. I found their service IS good and so is their food. I've really liked their breakfast burritos and chicken fried steak. They have large portions and I have not had a problem with anything I've ordered. They have a wonderful green chili as well. I think the ski stop tradition and the "cabin" name makes it really popular. Frisco has plenty of places for breakfast or brunch, but the Log Cabin's location is key. You will get a greater mix of visitor to local ratio on the weekends, as I'm sure a "Frisconite" or "Friscon" would not put up with the the crowds that I've heard form here. I recommend a stop in. I will keep coming back.

Great breakfast spot in Frisco. Also for lunch. We arrived at 2:35 and although they were closed, they served us lunch. Great customer service. Try their vegetarian sausage. You will not believe it has no meat.

  • Katie B.

Food was descent but the service was horrible. Granted they were busy, but as a retired server myself, being in the weeds is no excuse. We had to ask the bus boy to grab our server after waiting 35 minutes for our food (since she hadn't checked in for over 20mins). Once we were able to ask for more coffee and additional cream, she slammed the cream on the table and walked off. She didn't apologize once for her lack of attention or even acknowledge the wait. Once our food was delivered it was hot and yummy. Nothing that couldn't come from any kitchen but tasty. Next time we will suffer the wait at the Butterhorn.

The kids love the giant cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate. My wife and I order the breakfast burritos. Great place to eat before boarding.

  • Ramon G.

Great breakfast spot in downtown Frisco. The place is usually mobbed so stick with a small group. They seat people by numbers rather than 1st come 1st serve. Like other Yelpers point out they do have real maple syrup but you have to pay extra for it. But worth it! Hashbrowns are crispy and eggs are always perfect. Not as good as Mountain Lion in Silverthorne but still tasty for those lazy non-powder days.

  • Jeffrey P.

Great Breakfast spot. The food is always great and the staff seems to really like working there. Love the Log Cabin feel.

  • Dave S.

Aftter a grueling hike to Rainbow Lake and back, hunger was a priority. They serve breakfast all day. I had the Chicken Fried Steak , eggs over easy, hash browns and biscuit. It was about 2pm and the biscuit made in the morning was still soft and fluffy. The steak has a brown gravy on it as opposed to the typical white sausage gravy, but the gravy was flavorful and good. Good family run business.

Really enjoyed this quaint breakfast spot as we were passing through town. Very cozy. Good prices. I had an omelet; she had French toast and eggs. Both had hot chocolate. Service was fast. We'd go back.

  • David C.

Log Cabin is my favorite breakfast place in Summit County. I really enjoy their hash browns, and I make sure to get an omelette or something that comes with them every time I visit. I also like how you can build your own omelette if the variety of combinations they offer don't quite work for you - this is easy enough for the kitchen to do, but not every place has that option. Pancakes are pretty good here too, and they offer breakfast and lunch, though I haven't tried anything off the lunch menu yet. Portions are pretty big for the price, and it's just a really good place in a great little mountain town.

  • Tim H.

I lied in my previous review and returned to this restaurant. Breakfast was much better, and the service was a bit better when they weren't in the weeds. Still just average breakfast fare, but better than eating at a Denny's. Still, when told we had to wait, we asked if we could get coffee...the hostess said yes, then walked off never to be seen again. Weird.

Delicious . I like to stop for lunch when I'm in town. Chili is great as is the BLT. With avocado . The desserts are the best. Pie is so tasty. Today I'm having the brownie. Its a bit much with whipped cream and caramel. Im sticking to the pie in the future. Really nice servers and the prices are great. Sitting on patio in the sun can't be beat!

Great brunch place with many options including Vegetarian and Vegan options. We had a great time, the service was fantastic I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. Also you have to try their home made preserves... Delicious!

  • Mariana M.

Love this place. Have never made a trip to the area without a stop here. Have also never had to not wait, but the breakfasts are more than worth it. Everything here is great. I'm a fan of the Denver omelet myself, but the pancakes are excellent as well. If you want any chance at finishing them however, save yourself some money and just order a single cake. They are literally the size of your plate and my 6'2", 250lb brother couldn't even finish a short stack. Another thing they do great here are the biscuits, they are homemade from scratch and AMAZING. A side order comes with 2, split them up amongst the table and spread some jam on while they're still warm. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Our group landed in Frisco with the intention of going to another restaurant which was closed for renovations. Having to make a quick decision on breakfast sent us to Trip Advisor & Yelp for reviews/recommendations and we quickly decided on Log Cabin Cafe. So glad we did - after a short wait for a table (always a good sign that the restaurant is a good one) we were seated and on our way. Our group ordered lots of things, the highlights being the Malted Waffle with whipped cream, Eggs Benedict and the Chili Rellenos. The breakfast standards (eggs, bacon, hashbrowns) were classic diner fare served well, although they seem to served their hashbrowns done quite light, so if you want them golden brown ask for them to be well done. The prices were fair, service was good and the food delicious.

  • David C.

I have been to the Log Cabin many times over the years. The food is a little above average, but nothing to write home about. It falls short in comparison to the Butterhorn Bakery which is also in downtown Frisco. But for a decent breakfast before hitting the slopes, it's a good place to go.

  • Josh S.

A great little place, the only reason that i do give it a 4 star cause the food was a little bland, but other wises a great little place.

  • Bexx M.

It was alright. I work down the street and can attest to the lines that form on the weekend to get into this place. I didn't think it was worth it. My food was quick and hot. We were 2 seated at a table for 6 (maybe this is why lines form!?). Waitresses kept bumping into us, maybe because it's so cramped in there... I love breakfast food. And this was simple not extravagant, but not remarkable either. If looking for good quality breakfast food with a lot of options at a low price, make the trek to Silverthorne to the Mountain Lion.

I had a yummy spicy Bloody Mary and a club sandwich for lunch here. The hubby had a burrito. It was an enjoyable stop on our Colorado tour.

This place was delicious! We stopped in on a Sunday morning after checking out of condo and getting ready to head back to Denver. As was everyone else in town. We had a bit of a wait, but not too bad. I think we had to wait about 20-25 minutes. We were lucky enough to get an outside table on the patio. The menu caters to meat and veggie eaters alike. Most breakfast foods can be adapted. The price were very reasonable and we got large servings for the price. They sell some of their own preserves (try the peach). The biscuits are really good! We all had different items (eggs benedict, a scramble, pancakes/eggs/hash browns) and we all loved our choices. Along with quick service and a quaint atmosphere, you'll love it and be happy you stopped in!

Good food and reasonable prices in the middle of a tourist town - Good for you Log Cabin! I had the Eggs Benedict - very good. I like the fact that the side dishes that are offered are - grits, hash browns or tomatoes. As someone trying to somewhat adhere to a Paleo way of eating it was nice to have a choice like this. We were on our way to Snowmass and came in on an early Tuesday afternoon, the place was packed. But I was impressed with the the staff - they were hopping and moving the whole time and friendly on top of that.

Happy welcoming staff sat us quickly for a Wednesday morning breakfast. The coffee was good, and the breakfast menu was pretty affordable. Kids enjoyed the pancakes. As a whole, solid breakfast place. I'll come back and try lunch sometime.

Our FAVORITE breakfast place! Thank you so much for having vegetarian sausage and actually having a creative vegetarian option on the menu without needing substitutions! The Log Cabin has the best coffee of any breakfast place in Summit and they give you a whole pot, so you don't have to wait for refills!

Cute and convenient spot, a little tight inside, some may say "cozy". I ordered a Rueben, it was not in my top 5 all time ruebens. meat a little too thickly sliced and dry, bread did not seem grilled but toasted. I think my sandwich sat in the hot window for awhile because the 1000 was darker than it should be. I had to ask for a side. Chips were overcooked, perhaps from sitting in the hot window with my sandwich and they were a little bitter. Warm, limp pickle. Hubby had breakfast, he said it was the best biscuit he had every had in his life.

Wow. Talk about a delicious way to start your day. Let me start by saying I'm not usually a traditional breakfast food fan (lunch frequently begins for me at ....8am?) but this place blew me out of the water. We went on a Sunday morning in February around 10am and the wait for five was about half an hour. It's in the heart of downtown Frisco, so we just put our names on the list and then went to Rocky Mountain Roasters (a delicious coffee shop just down the way) until it was time. They serve breakfast and lunch all day and I was about to order a lunch dish and I'm very glad I didn't! I decided on the 2-2-2 meal which included two eggs, sausage links, and pancakes. Couldn't pass on ordering a home-made biscuit too. Everything was impeccable. The pancakes were deliciously fluffy and I decided to order them with a side of warm blueberry compote (WIN!) The real MVP of this meal was the biscuit with house-made jam (the strawberry was the best that I've ever had in my life... you MUST try it!!)... I'm literally salivating just thinking about it. Overall, my meal ran me a little over $8 and I was stuffed for the entire day. The triple threat of great food/amazing value/friendly "mom-and-pop" service makes this a gem if you're looking for a meal in downtown Frisco.

Went exploring around lake dillion and drove into town for a late lunch, Log cabin looked interesting, serves breakfast and lunch. We sat on the patio which has amazing views of the mountains! The menu consist of full breakfast and light lunch items. I saw many happy customers munching and savoring everything from french toast and fruit to eggs benedict and hash browns & omelets.I ordered an omelet with spinach, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and cheddar with hash browns, biscuit and a side of sausage gravy. It was an open face omelet delicate and fluffy, with perfectly sautéed veggies and crispy hash browns, delightful! the biscuit was very dense( not very good) the gravy was just average. My husband got the eggs benedict which was delicious, light and creamy sauce, eggs cooked perfectly:) The turkey wraps also looked wonderful! Relaxing place to enjoy breaKfast or lunch!

We enjoyed a late brunch around noon here on a Sunday. The place was hopping, wait time was 45 minutes so we wandered around town and came back. The kids enjoyed the giant pancakes and the homemade, seasonal peach and blueberry jams were nice on the homemade biscuit. It took a little while for our food to arrive, but again it was quite busy and we got our own carafe of coffee on the table and some crayons to pass the time.

We hit up the Log Cabin on our way to Copper last year, so it was the rational choice this time around as well. I would describe this place as your typical breakfast diner - fast service, great menu, cheap breakfast. The food too, is quite good. There are a great many choices to choose from and it seems I am always struggling between an omelet, a burrito, or one of the classic breakfast items. I was craving something a bit old school, but also more substantial, so the chicken fried steak with eggs was a good choice. I had the eggs medium fried and they were cooked perfectly, and the chicken fried steak was delicious and filling. Along with the hash browns I was craving, definitely had me full for a full day of skiing. This place is always packed, so you might have to wait (remember, you are in a mountain town during ski season) but they turn tables pretty quickly so it shouldn't be that long, plus the food is worth the wait.

Stopped by for a small bite around 10am on a Thursday a couple of weeks ago. We were seated right away and our server was quick, attentive without being overbearing, and had a great sense of humor. My companion got a cup of stew and I ordered two eggs and an English muffin off menu. The food was great, but two things were *really* impressive: 1) the hot tea came with quite a few flavor/caffeinated/decaffeinated options and 2) the preserves were homemade and DELICIOUS. The strawberry reminded me of my grandmother's, in fact! I plan to head back to the area this week and have a full meal just to try their bacon bloody Mary and to see if I wasn't dreaming about those preserves.

Really good food. Reuben and patty melt, fries and onion rings. Beats most touristy restaurants in Frisco. Sat on the patio and enjoyed people watching and the terrific view of the mountain bluff to the west.

I stopped here with some friends on our way back to Denver from Twin Lakes. Parking was a breeze, right across the street. The wait wasn't too long, and our party of 7 was seated in 20 minutes. My chorizo, cheese, mushroom and avocado omelet was good and filling. I only wish there was more chorizo. The mango jam was an unusual, but nice added bonus. One friend wasn't a fan of the bacon, not very crispy.

Busy cafe in frisco. Omelette was good and homemade jam was good. Biscuit was very doughy and hash browns very greasy

First time here and the food was great! The service sucked. It's like the servers didn't care about a bad tip because they knew they'd have more tables. Place is a flip and flop kind of place. Overall food would be the only reason to come back.

  • Serena W.

When yhe food came out everyone said "wow!". It was some of the best looking breakfast I've ever seen! Eggs cooked perfect, hashbrowns fluffy and crisp on the edges, bacon cooked crisp but still moist, oatmeal with beautiful plump berries. But the most amazing part was the biscuits and gravy! The gravy wasnt that white junk you so often get. It was tan from the sausage drippings and speckled with spices. I knew it would be good when I saw it. When you stab into it with a fork the biscuit crumbles the way only the best homemade biscuits do. The taste kinda reminded everyone of thanksgiving stuffing. It was excellent! The waitress was an angel and the atmosphere was cozy. Food came fast and we ate it even faster. This is a must stop!!

Great way to start your day. There menu has a good variety. I always enjoy there Mimosa of the day. There is always a line no matter what time you go but it usually less then a ten minute wait. If you sit by the window you can enjoy the mountain view. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the staff is amazing!!

1 of 2 places I ate at twice during my week in Frisco. It was that good! We tried Sunny Side Up Eggs, Omelettes, Pancakes, French Toast, Biscuits and Gravy, Homemade Jams. Grits and Coffee. Actually just about everything on the menu! It was all fantastic! I have never been a big breakfast guy, but if the Log Cabin Cafe was near me, I'd get up early just to start my day there. Service was great and they are easily wheelchair accessible.

We waited 15 minutes on a Saturday morning to sit and were very pleased with our service and food. I had the denver omelet with a side pancake and my wife had the corned beef hash. Coffee is outstanding and is roasted just down the street at Rocky Mountain Coffee Roasters. We will be back!

Waffles are definitely frozen, not fresh. However, the french toast and bacon was very good. It's an average restaurant, nothing special.

The best, homemade breakfast money can buy. Everything is done from scratch. They even offer a selection of homemade jams for your toast or homemade biscuit. You can't hate that! The chicken fried steak is wonderful! I absolutely enjoyed that as well as the biscuits and gravy. You really can't go wrong with anything you order there.

PERFECT! We ate here every morning! Fast, polite service . Best staff! Omelettes, homemade biscuits and jams/jellies ! Club sandwich FF onion rings and burgers are the best! Fair prices. Upon revisiting lately - prices are up, service is down, and food quality is quite possibly worse. I was disappointed and it took forever to get our food before getting on the road. I'm reluctant to go back.

This place is ridiculous. As in, ridiculously GOOD. Homemade food, super friendly people, reasonable prices...you seriously can't go wrong. We stopped here on our way back to Texas after an amazing time in Breck. I wish we had found this place sooner. Honestly, I would have gone back every single day. I think I'm their biggest fan. In the entire world. Hubs ordered a bacon bloody mary and although I usually don't like them at all, he had to order a second one because I couldn't keep my hands off of it. I ordered a mimosa but it was just a regular ol' mimosa. His had BACON. It was incredible and had a little bit of a kick. And the mix was homemade. It squashed my spirit to hear that I couldn't buy this and bring this yumminess home with me. (Take note Log Cabin Cafe!) I wanted to bathe in that stuff! The eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and biscuits were all fabulous. Bacon was crispy, eggs cooked just right and the biscuits were fluffy. Hubs ordered the sausage gravy on his biscuits. I decided to be good and not smother a bunch of stuff on mine. (insert angel halo here.) Until....I tried one bite of his and then he had to share that too. Dang this married thing is fun!! ;) The waitress saved him by bringing out homemade jam (omg!) so then I was pigging out on that instead of his breakfast. The waitress probably got a little tired of me telling her (with a mouthful of their amazing food) how much I loved everything. But I did....I love me some breakfast and this place does it RIGHT.

When I eat out, the way the staff treats me is just as important as the food. I have one word to describe the "greeter" at this restaurant: RUDE. I walked out before I was even seated. It wasn't busy, she just decided to ignore me. Seated someone she knew who came in after me. Didn't bother to say hello, didn't bother to smile, just gave me a glance and walked away, came back to the podium and just walked away again without a word. They obviously didn't want my business. I walked a couple doors down to the coffee shop where a guy was playing guitar outside... Great service, yummy breakfast sandwich, above average espresso. I will never come to the Cabin again. Too bad... It looked good.

We're locals and come here often for breakfast. You can't beat the value of their 2-2-2 breakfast. They have real fresh squeezed orange juice and great food. The servers are friendly, and your food comes out FAST. It's one of our very favorite places to come. The wait can be up to 30 minutes on weekends, but there is seating outside and lots of stores nearby as well as a park across the street. What's not to like?

  • Ritchie A.

Great service, friendly staff. I got what I called the "2-2-3" which was my own version of their "2-2-2". Witch consist of two eggs, two bacon, and three pieces of French toast "2-2-3" LOL I got my eggs scrambled they were cooked perfectly not too wet not to dry perfect. My bacon was perfectly cooked not to burnt, not to undercooked, nice crispiness, nice smooth very subtle smoky flavor, savory proper bacon. My French toast was again perfect not to overcook not to undercut the bread was nice and moist but not soggy, properly cooked French toast. My server was a breath of fresh air to deal with. She was so pleasant, and so nice, so accommodating, always make sure I was okay, she was very quick with everything. I highly recommend this place to anybody looking to eat breakfast!

Just ate at the log cabin cafe before continuing to Vail. The server rushed our order and changed my friends order to something that he did not want. The Irish coffee is way to strong it's like drinking straight alcohol. We had to call another waitress over to get more water after watching the other employees walk around aimlessly ignore our table completely. Witch was weird because the restaurant was not busy. The food was cheap and the quality reflected this. Overcooked eggs and undercooked hash. The pancakes where good tho

Great little diner! I had the red chili. Nice spice with raw onion added. I could have had it hotter in temperature, but I like soup piping hot! The side salad had tomato & generous amount of carrot. The hubs had waffle with blueberry compote, unsweetened. It was lite, fluffy & cake like. His hash browns were crispy, unsalted. Gave 4 stars due to waitstaff forgot silver wear & salad, although they are really friendly and cheery! Bathroom was pretty clean as was restaurant considering lots of snow on ground.

If adorable were a verb, Log Cabin Cafe would adorable the crap out of breakfast! I am not the biggest breakfast fan out there, so when I begin craving a breakfast joint mere hours after I have left, you know it has something great going on. Nestled in the quaint town of Frisco, CO, the Log Cabin Cafe offers delicious breakfast and lunch options served up with a smile and some local sass. When we walked in on a Monday morning, we were greeted with a "I'll be right with you!" Our waitress was hustling between serving drinks and sitting people. The decor of the Log Cabin is completely mountain town and features pictures of the spot when it originally opened up to the present time. We opted for their outside seating. They have a really cute little spot to sit outside and listen to the birds chirp while munching on breakfast. I got the Cajun fried trout and eggs with hash browns. While the trout was more baked than fried (which I am not complaining about), it was the tastiest trout I have ever had. It did not have that normal "fishy" taste that I usually associate with it. My eggs were PERFECT and my hash browns had me licking the plate. As if I didn't love Frisco enough already, the Log Cabin Cafe is just another gem that this town has to offer and I will without a doubt be back again.

Perfectly good choice if you want a solid breakfast at a decent price that is served by a friendly staff. Portions could be a touch bigger, but other than that minor gripe...I had no serious issues. Please note - For me three stars is the average rating and indicates a perfectly acceptable place. In this case, nothing warranted a deduction. Nor was anything outstanding that warranted a bump.

One word...Awsome. The service was amazing, the food was fast and great, and they had a great menu to choose from. I had the Denver omelette and choose grits and a biscuit for my sides. It was all great, and my wife raved about the chili rellanos. This will be a family place for breakfast for us from now on.

We always eat at Butterhorn Bakery on a Frisco. This was a nice surprise. I recommend breakfast. The French toast, eggs, and sausage was great!

This is a local place, just like we wanted. All your standard breakfast specialties but also some creative surprises. I had some French toast that had a secret ingredient, I figured it out, but No spoilers-try it for yourself. Great local art on the walls (for sale) and very good friendly service. Highly recommended.

Service was good which I found all over Frisco. This town is just full of happy people. Our table ordered omelets and breakfast burritos. Food was average and I would equate the quality of food to what you find at an average diner.

After attending the Fourth of July festival in Frisco, we ate some delicious tacos and corn and finished our meal by purchasing a cupcake cookie, and some brownie caramel pecan delicious looking treat from the log cabin cafe booth. Then, we noticed everyone was running for cover- a downpour was approaching! We followed a young family and some other patrons to cover, right underneath the log cabin cafe overhang. Someone, presumably the owner? Stormed outside, very disgruntled and said "EXxcuse me. EXCUSE ME" (which made no sense because after the first excuse me, literally everyone was out of her way). She slammed the door shut and tried to turn the sign around to say "closed" but instead, because she slammed the sign too hard, it still said "open", which gave all 20 or so of us a good laugh. A few moments later, she marched over and flipped the sign to close. The rain was coming down, and we had our to-go boxes filled with log cabin treats, and knowing that I was standing nearest to the door, I kept checking to see if anyone needed in or out. The same aforementioned woman opened the door and slammed it into my arm, and literally yelled "EXCUSE ME!!!!!" To which I responded "really?" (Because I did not need to be slammed into in order to move, as I had proven prior per her previous excuse-me's.) she responded with "WELL, we aren't a RAIN COVER!!!" And stormed away, perhaps to the booth where we had just patroned her baked goods. Those of us standing outside the log cabin cafe talked about how rude this woman was before we left. It's my belief that there are no cupcakes, cookies, or brownie things delicious enough to be yelled at or slammed by a door by the staff or owner (whoever this woman was), especially not in a small town where reputation is everything. I've lived in big cities and suburbs and have been stuck in many downpours- but this was by far the rudest anyone has ever been. I will not purchase or support this business ever again.

I was not overall impressed by this breakfast/ brunch spot at all. The wait was forever and the restaurant was not full. The staff was not very friendly like the other places we visited in Frisco and other towns in Colorado. The food was just ok as was the coffee. I had a veggie omelet sandwiched between an english muffin and it was really chewy and sort of cold. My hash browns had no flavor and were cold as well. My friend had a waffle and was not impressed by it at all. Another friend had a short stack of pancakes and it was huge. He seemed to like them ok. Not the best breakfast choice in Frisco in my option.

Very average place to eat. The service was fine but food was just okay. The bacon was hard and cold. Should have said something but didn't. Cute place though.

Could have been a bad day...well, obviously it was for my breakfast Biscuits and gravy - biscuits hard to cut through with a fork and flavorless gravy. Hash browns were good. My husbands eggs were cooked perfectly, but that was his food...so I guess he can write a review. The jam was flavorful but very runny. Really much more like syrup, which is what I ended up using it for. The staff was pleasant. If you are coming here for eggs and hash browns, you'll be golden! Every restaurant has a bad day, but I wouldn't come back.

On a cold day when the other places had an hour wait, we only had 30 min. Read other reviews and seemed like the place to be. Hit the spot before the almost 3 hour drive back to Denver airport. The French toast were better than average, the burrito with vegetarian chili was spicy and delicious, the cinnamon roll is big enough for breakfast, the eggs and hash browns were tasty. The Butterhorn was yummy also big a bit more on the wallet

A very nice place for breakfast or lunch. Friendly servers and good food. I love their Turkey Rueben sandwich! Nice cozy log cabin atmosphere. You're never rushed and the food is always good! Try it, you'll go back.

Very good breakfasts with an extremely friendly staff and very reasonable prices in a small town cafe. There is nothing here not to love.

This is a prime breakfast spot in Summit County! We've eaten here several times and our experiences were nothing short of great. Their hash browns are awesome and the egg benedict (which I get every time) is always so flavorful. Maybe I'll try the pancakes next time; I always hear great things about them. The best thing about this place? The prices! They're very reasonable and every time we get our bill we always look at each other and say, "that's it?!"

The Log Cabin Cafe is a great breakfast spot on Main Street in Frisco. We ventured in on a Sunday morning and were lucky to be early enough to just beat the breakfast rush. The tables were full but the servers were fast and very attentive. The coffee was flowing with an insulated pitcher left so we could refill ourselves, which I love! The food was all really fresh and delicious. We had a Breakfast Burrito and an Omelet, both super tasty. You could tell they make everything from scratch - the green chili, the salsa, even the jellies were all homemade. They also have liquor for those who want to wash their breakfast down with a mimosa or bloody mary. Everything was great, so the Log Cabin Cafe will be our go-to breakfast spot next time we're in town.

The pancakes stack is huge ! Eggs are okay but the waffle is a fail. It's an alright place for breakfast. No food pictures because I wasn't impressed much.

The service was excellent, but the chicken fried steak had a huge lump gristle in it. Also they charge for any substitutions, even if it is for a cheaper item (i.e. Hash browns for bacon).

Sunday morning seating for 2 - 25 minute wait. Not bad. One standard omlette with has browns, their 2x2x2 (sausage, eggs and hotcakes) - 40 minute wait with never the waitress or apparent owners stopping by to update us. And magically when I asked how much longer, as I was ready to leave, our food was ready. Poor service. The staff appeared as though they were serving their first Sunday breakfast and didn't know what to do. Will not be going back...despite the food being average.

This place has always been my favorite breakfast place in Summit. But please read if you have Dairy or Gluten allergies/issues. I always get an omelet here, But just today found out the eggs for the omelet are mixed with pancake batter. This is a little mis leading when you think your are ordering a healthy gluten free and/or lactose free omelet. The extremely friendly waitress made sure to make our omelets with, as she called "real eggs". I will be back but definitely will ask more questions about the menu. Their homemade jam is the best unfortunately they were out of my fav. .... Strawberry. Enjoy! A must in Summit county.

Cutest place in Frisco for breakfast! Delicious food (amazing bacon!), great location, superb customer service and good prices. This is a must eat while in Summit County.

Cute, cozy and reasonable. Mother in law had a patty melt, which she devoured and I had the "Big Beef", which is basically a hot beef sandwich on Texas Toast with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was filling and yummy, typical greasy spoon fare. Not anything noteworthy, but better than expected for a typical diner. Lunch for2 plus a 20%+ tip was $21 for 2. Other pros: Great, friendly service Breakfast all day

"I think I'm still drunk" "I hate that. It makes my mornings very hard at work" giggled the waitress with a female mullet to her pekish customer. Great diner experience. Perfect before hitting the slopes. Lots of police officers hanging out.

A great place. Chose this place for a pre-skiing breakfast since Butterhorn was closed. The pancakes are huge so I just had one. If say it was the lightest and fluffiest I've ever head. The berry toppings were also delicious on an English muffin. I would definitely eat there again.

My daughter took me to breakfast at the log cabin cafe and it was a great experience! I had a delicious omelette and it was delivered exactly how I asked by an efficient friendly staff. The only negative was a broken door in the restroom that wouldn't lock. I would recommend this spot for breakfast before hitting the slope.
