Thai Kitchen was exactly what I needed on a night when I didn't want to think about dinner, but also knew I wanted something a little more interesting than standard American fare. I'm not too knowledgeable about Thai food, and the big menu boards were no help, but the printed menus explain everything well. The service was really friendly, and the restaurant was immaculately clean. The Pad Thai was well-balanced, and the egg rolls had a perfect crispness. It doesn't seem like the kind of place one goes to become better educated about Thai cuisine, but it's perfectly serviceable, and I'll definitely go there again.

Friendly service. Food quality is inconsistent, varying from OK to good. Outdoor dining is pleasant enough. The shared parking lot is often full, especially during the college school year - so biking and walking are great options.

We went for lunch. Positives: Place super clean, staff very friendly. Beautiful food, amazing presentation. Obvious care went into the vegetable prep and garnish work. Negatives: took way too long (lunch curry dishes took ~25 minutes and were delivered a few minutes apart from each other to my very small group instead of all at once) Food was so hot (steaming vigorously after 5 minutes) that I burned my mouth. In spite of being beautiful, was tremendously unflavorful, except for the "spice" component. I'm used to curries having richness of flavor and a spectrum of tastes. (Relatedly, I tasted the plain white rice before adding it; was obviously cooked without any seasoning at all, a mistake.) This was "BARBIE DOLL THAI" -- looks pretty, no substance. Outcome: I was able to eat two bites, filled up a to-go container (which was brought courteously), and then threw the whole thing away in the nearest trash can after leaving very disappointedly. In all, lunch took over an hour and I work 1000 feet from this place. Since I was time constrained, I was unable to get anything else, so I'm sitting here writing a yelp review while starving. Probably a bad idea.

Seriously, the food is probably the worst thai foodi have eaten and i have eaten a lot. No flavor whatsoever on some dishes and on other dishes the sauces and spices were overpowering. Last but not least, the prices were way to high for this type of quality food. I dont mind paying a pretty penny for food but it better be worth it. Go somewhere else and save your money.

Many of us are rushing from one thing to the other and sometimes our meals become an afterthought. This is my biggest downfall of being busy. If I'm not dining out for a review, I often find myself nose-deep in work on my laptop, neglecting the time of day and missing a meal (or two). If I'm not prepared (which I'm typically not), fast-casual restaurants become a life-saver. Living in a college town, we have an abundance of fast-casual restaurants, most of them being mediocre and not particularly healthy. However, if you're lucky enough to be on the west side of CSU, Thai Kitchen is there to provide the best of all worlds - fast, flavorful, and friendly. Thai Kitchen opened in April 2012 on West Elizabeth next to Five Guys and Fuzzy's Tacos. It's a great location for busy students. The fast-casual chain has a few locations throughout Colorado - a couple in Longmont and one in Lafayette. There is a restaurant with the same name in Estes Park, but they are not related. The service is a mix between counter service and table service. You order at the counter, but after that they bring your order out to you and clear your plates, all while attentively checking on you to see if you are satisfied with the food. They are exceptionally friendly. One hiccup to keep in mind though when ordering at the counter, you may want to take a look at the menu fliers at the register and the menu online. The menu boards above the kitchen are missing a lot of fabulous options. This is a time when it pays to do your research and be prepared, otherwise you could be stuck with only seeing the basics. I don't think there is anything wrong with being busy, or preferring to be busy, as long as you enjoy it. If you're anything like me and tend to forget the importance of eating during the day, fast-casual places like Thai Kitchen will do you well. They'll keep you fueled with fast, healthy, decent flavors for the rest of the day - and maybe even the next with leftovers.

I'm not surprised that Thai Kitchen isn't as popular in Fort Collins as it is in Longmont and Lafayette, CO. Fort Collins is full of college kids looking for the cheapest and greasiest food to fill their bellies. You don't get that with with Thai Kitchen's food like you do at a lot of other Thai joints in the Fort. Thai Kitchen is a real Thai food joint to me. They focus on freshness and balance as Thai food is meant to be, unlike others. You will not find anything over sweet, greasy or salty. The dishes are in harmony; not competition. One person commented on a lack of meat and I have had that happen once. However, they have either corrected or it was a whoops moment. My last dish was plentiful with meat. My complaint with all Thai restaurants, including Thai Kitchen, in Colorado is their god damn spice levels! F$#k! Burn me I dare you if you can! Asking for Thai hot is bull$hit. Do I not know the secret word or hand shake or do you think I can't handle it because I'm Caucasian? Look, I like spice. When you see me in the corner, eyes watering, sneezing, coughing, guzzling water and blowing my nose...I am actually enjoying myself. Thai Kitchen, just give in and get a head of the curve... (Yes, curve. Meaning what all Thai joints are doing in real cities: New York, Atlanta, Tampa, Seattle and every where else) ...just create a spiciness system. Is it really that hard for you? 1 can mean your weak 2 can mean there may be hope 3 can mean you have got our respect 4 can mean you have tigers blood and Adonis DNA 5 can mean $h1T U fu#k1ng Crazy white boy!!! Thai Kitchen is open on West Elizabeth! Finally! I've been waiting for over 6 months. It's in a small space, not even 10 tables with modern decor. It could be some wrap place, not a hint of Thailand in the place so far. I might dine in for lunch but would probably pick the other Thai restaurant across the street for dinner. Thai Kitchen gets a point for not closing down in the afternoon. Only open for a week, the woman behind the register said a few people have walked in, looked up at the menu boards and left out the back door. She was happy that I was familiar with the Thai Kitchen name. It might be confusing for some as the dishes are in the Thai language with an English description underneath. They offer 4 noodle dishes, 4 stir frys and 3 curry dishes, add your choice of meat or tofu. I was just planning on driving by to see if they had opened, maybe get a spring roll across the street. Ended up with a pad thai extra spicy, pad kee mao (drunken noodles) with tofu and an order of veggie eggrolls (the spring rolls here have chicken and shrimp). My dish ordered medium spicy wasn't nearly hot enough and I do like it fairly drunk, these noodles weren't very sauced at all. It had the appropriate flavors though. Both very nicely presented and had plenty of basil. The clear winner by far was the pad thai with plenty of crushed peanuts. It was good, not great but I will be back to try more for sure. They have only been open a week, well worth a try. *Also they are a member of gooddining.com which is very cool in my opinion. Thanks for donating to charities!

Very clean, nice graphics, great storefront location, and pleasant service. Food was okay...spring roll was poorly made and they ran out of sauce. My curry was adequate. They have a very limited menu and a bit overpriced for the quality. I was tempted to give it a two star based on food and value.

Anywhere else I would give one or two stars, but this is Northern Colorado so we can't ask too much. Well, I still ask a lot, but just set myself up for disappointment. Anyway, the food was edible, but it wasn't Thai by any means. It's like Tex Mex compared to authentic Mexican food. The Pad Thai was just noodles tossed in sriracha sauce with chopped peanuts. If you know what pad thai is supposed to be, you'll know what's wrong with that. If you don't, you'll probably like this place.

2 visits so far & not disappointed at all. Yesterday's Pad Kee Mow was classic Thai: sweet and hot but woefully lacking in the herb department. The Peanut Curry, at a medium heat level cleared my sinuses & had me sweating like a stuck pig, but holy basil, was it ever an epicurian delight!! The staff & Momo are delightful and clearly customer focused. My only quibble is that there's a whole lot of bare-hand food contact going on by everyone working there, which when done after processing credit cards, after busing tables or tugging at your clothing, etc. etc., well, that is just a big health dept. no no. And yet, this is the rare kind of restaurant where I want to keep going back until I've tried everything on the menu. BTW: nice mix of music to complement the cozy, yummy interior.

The service was really good. That's the best I can say about it. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was almost tasteless. Probably won't be back.

The menu here is somewhat small and not what we expected from Thai restaurants in other areas, but it still worked. The guy who helped us was extremely friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to get us a side of red chili sauce so we could spice up our meal to our liking. Food and service make this place a no brainer - everything was fresh and not greasy, portion sizes were perfect for one person.

The food was okay. We got the red curry and the pad thai. The pad thai lacked flavor The curry was very soupy and because we didn't dine in we couldn't ask for more rice. This wasn't the best Thai I've had in town but I was really hoping it would come close. Management was friendly, even the cooks said hello. I'm not ruling it out completely, I'll give them a second try.

This place was good! The decor made it feel like a place I would not like to linger in or have a sit-down dinner - too modern and non-unique feeling for me. And the menu was more limited than other Thai restaurants. Still, the curry and tom yum gai soup I had was good quality. I went there yesterday to eat and the door was locked. No sign, but there was a key holder on the back door, so I guess they went out of business?

We love this place and have made Thai Kitchen to-go a weekly event at our house. The location is great, so it's easy to swing by our the way home. Hands down favorite is the Peanut Curry with chicken - medium spicy. My husband and I are both big fans, with the Sweet and Spicy dish being a close second. The staff is friendly and always remember us - something I can't say about may restaurants here in town, and we eat out more than we should. The food is healthy, fresh and delicious.
