Why do people like this place? Sri Thai confuses authenticity with grease. Both the Sri Ra Cha, which I ate, and the Pad Kea Mow, which my partner ate, left a filmy residue in our mouths [which I can still taste hours later!] I also believe they should rename the Sri Ra Cha - onions and rice in the eponymous, albeit watered down, thai chile sauce. In addition, the manager - for whatever reason - took our order. She managed to forget to order our appetizer, and warned us that the "hot" was very hot. It wasn't. The food was mild, at best. I'd dare to even call it bland. There was no complexity to it. If she contributes to running the place, then no wonder it sucks. As my partner and I munched away unhappily, there was no apology from our server [nor the manager] regarding our bad service and our bad dishes. Needless to say, I will never go back here, and will always recommend Bann Thai over Sri Thai [even though it is more pricey].

LOVE this restaurant! The panang curry is the best (ask for extra Thai basil!). The tom yum is otherworldy. It's better than I've had anywhere else in Colorado (Denver, Boulder). I eat there at least once a month. Also great take-away. The place is spotless, incl. restrooms. (Having worked in restaurants, you can tell if the kitchen is clean by looking at their restrooms.)

Great food. Great vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. Super tasty and nutritious food.

Woah this place is good. I didn't know what to expect front this place when I went , but I heard the sesame chicken and pad Thai were must try's. I got sesame chicken and it was the best I've ever had. It was so fresh and the batter was so light and crispy. The sauce was light and it complimented the breading so well, along with the broccoli it is served with. The chicken was clearly fresh and not processed. The price wasn't too bad either, I will definitely be coming back to his place.

I'm really sad to have to give Sri Thai two stars now. They used to be very good. The green curry and the pad thai with tofu were very flavorful. I was also in love with the crab cheese rangoons. HOWEVER, they either changed their chef or the way they prepare the food, because everything is 100% bland now. The tofu has no flavor/must not be marinated anymore and the crab cheese rangoons have less filling in them. I hate to say it, but this isn't my favorite Thai place in Fort Collins anymore. And now I have to go further away from my apt to get good Thai.

Personally didn't find anything wrong here, came in with 2 friends, great service, had the Pad Thai with chicken which was delicious. 5 stars.

Panang curry is where it's at! I like to do take out for dinner and dine in for lunch. You will have leftovers no matter what. Delicious pad thai and pad see yew but the curry is a family favorite. They can be very busy so be prepared to wait but it's worth it. Great service.

Some people say this is the best thai place in Fort Collins. That is not saying much considering the number of restaurants it is being compared to. Overall, Sri Thai is decent. Nothing spectacular that would motivate me to drive across town for. The flavors of their dishes are pretty good. A couple of bad things, they're slow.. incredibly slow for an Asian place. And.. they have a tendency to get the order wrong if you want any substitution or change to the menu. I like my curries to come with a mix of vegetables and unfortunately, none of their dishes fulfill my criteria. When I asked them for a mixture of vegetables with my curry, they changed me extra.. and forgot to include the change. Waiting a long time and not getting what I had asked for was annoying. Other than that, the food is decent. It's a good place to go if you are not starving.

The food is unauthentic, small portions, big prices, slow service. Feels like Thai Dennys.

Once you get past the very bland, generic restaurant look, Sri Thai still has the freshest, best Thai in Fort Collins. The curries are marvelous and the pad thai is still some of the best I've had anywhere (this side of the Pacific): light, not greasy or sticky and as hot or mild as you want it. Never had an issue with service, even when busy.

Sri Thai was home to my first Thai food experience (all of two years ago) and is still the standard against which I measure all pad thai. For the record, no other pad thai has ever lived up. My dad ordered a sake flight this time around, which is an interesting concept and a fun deviation from the typical wine and beer list. His pineapple curry was well-received and chock full of shrimp. SERIOUSLY good value. I of course, was boring and ordered pad thai but decided to be adventurous and order it Hot. I've found that many Thai restaurants look at a girl like me and think I can't handle the heat, so they tone it down. Not Sri Thai! My lips were burning for a loooong time, but I loved every minute. Delish. Service was pretty good, but that's to be expected, considering the restaurant was practically empty at 5:30 PM. Get thyself to Sri Thai....it's GOOOOOOOD.

When I lived in Fort Collins as a student at CSU, this place was my favorite. The food was awesome, especially the Panang Curry. And the Thai Spring Rolls were out of this world. On a recent visit back to the Fort to visit some old college buddies, I made a stop here, expecting to relive the awesomeness. And unfortunately, it was not to be. I don't know if they have a new chef or what, but the food quality diminished and the once great Thai Rolls were not bleh. Such a disappointment...

I have lived in LA for five years. I have eaten at all kinds of Thai places, from the little hole-in-the wall Mom & Pop take-out operations to the down and dirty college fare to the fancy schmancy dining extravaganza. And maybe I'm biased because this was the site of ever-so-many pre-dance dates, dinners-with-the-girls, and family birthday meals, but Sri Thai is still my favorite Thai restaurant on the face of the earth. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. The curry is creamy and, not hot, but spiiiiiicy. They have levels: Mild, Medium, Hot, and Thai Hot. None of us has ever been brave enough to go over Medium. The meat & vegetables are always fresh, cooked thoroughly, never limp, and always flavorful. You never find gross tendony bits in the chicken (I hate that). Yummy, sweet Thai iced tea that's never too iced/watered down. Best sweet rice and mango EVER, and red bean ice cream so delicious that it tastes like you're biting into semi-sweet chocolate bits instead of little chunks of red bean. Always more than enough food and rice to go around. Excuse me. I've started to drool just thinking about it. I highly recommend going in a group, ordering family style and sharing. Although it's usually busy, I've never had to wait too long for a table and the service has always been stellar. Everyone is friendly, attentive, helpful and quick. Full five stars for the best Thai food west of the Mississippi.

I thought it was kind of expensive for Thai but I haven't been to any other Thai place in Fort Collins to compare. My boyfriend had the pad see ew, which had a slightly stronger sauce than we've had before but it was tasty. I had the panang curry and it was really tasty. Don't bother with the Thai Iced Tea here, it was very watered down.

  • Christine L.

Nothing fantastic, but you know what to expect here. I usually order the Panang Curry with chicken and they get it right. The Pad Thai is okay. The Pad See Yu I wouldn't recommend as it tastes like soy sauce, and they don't add much besides broccoli and the meat to the noodles. The sweet rice and custard was pretty good. It's a good place for big groups, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.

This is good Thai food. It's amazing to find any good asian food in fort collins; I'm so glad that Alyssa finally introduced me to Sri Thai. I haven't been for dinner, but their lunch menu is extensive, the prices are really reasonable and the portions are large. The vegetarian soup option is not very good, but the fact that they are conscious of the existence of vegetarians is very appealing in meat and potatoes country. Both times that I ate there, I ordered a dish with tofu instead of meat and my waitress asked me if I wanted egg in it and if I wanted vegetarian soup instead of the regular soup which had chicken in it. Get the regular chicken soup. I really wish they had pumpkin curry. Update: I went back for dinner and was disappointed. I've been several times for lunch and have always been happy, but the dinner was pricier and the portions seemed the same. I still like the staff and that they are aware that people might be vegetarians, but I had to drop a star after the dinner and I doubt I'll go back for dinner.

i have been here a few times, as i used to live near by here. truly nothing worth praising or overly criticizing. i like their pad thai, i like their service and the atmosphere, it is just not "off the hook"

I love sri thai! The food is amazing and soooo tasty. I recommend the thai basil fried rice. The flavor combinations are awesome. Many of the items are gluten free and they are noted on the menu (big plus for the celiac). There lunch portions are kinda small but they are less expensive. The service is good and so are the beverages. If you enjoy thai food I highly reccomend Sri Thai.

sri thai has great pad thai, and their peanut sauce is wonderful. the service is pretty good, too. their "thai spicy" isn't spicy enough, but most thai restaurants' aren't. i try to eat here at least twice/month! on a side note... claiming that sri thai isn't authentic because they don't offer chopsticks is absurd. chopsticks are NOT part of thai culture. authentic thai restaurants don't offer them.

The few times I've been here have always been a good time. The staff is very friendly and attentive. That may be because it's always a little slow when I'm there, and I certainly agree with others that it can feel barren at times. I typically get their curry dishes and am always happy. The pineapple curry is especially good.

definitely not as amazing as everyone has hyped it up to be. most of the entrees ive tasted are pretty bland and kinda all taste similar. personally, its mediocre food.

This is the best Thai food we've found in Colorado. In fact, it's one of the best Thai restaurants we've ever eaten in, second ONLY to Ocha in Las Vegas. Spacious and stylish interior, excellent service, AMAZING food. Oh my God, the dishes are beautiful, well balanced, artfully crafted. The sauces are delish. The Thai Ice Tea is yummy. Honestly, I'd go to Fort Collins JUST to eat at this place. If you love Thai, this is a must visit.

Delicious Thai food. Although no chopsticks are offered! :0( Service is descent, wait staff is more robotic than friendly. Doesn't really feel like I'm at an authentically Thai restaurant but it's Fort Collins.

Does anyone know who owns this place? They must be making a killing, cause we just paid over $20 for a togo order of exactly 3 ounces of food. The coconut curry comes in a tiny size, with the lovely addition of two spoon-fulls of rice! Pad see-ew can feed about 1/2 a person - so all in all, not a good value. But maybe the owner can invite me to his awesome McMansion for dinner...there is always hope.

as far as thai food goes, it's not the BEST but it's definitely good. i had the pineapple curry with chicken which was different than any kind of curry i had ever had before. also the thai iced tea, even though it was a terrifying color of orange, was one of the best things i've ever drank. i'll probably go back there just for that. and whatever, the service was a little slow, but that's the way it goes.

Sri Thai really goes above and beyond. Their noodles are fantastic! I've been to other thai places in ft. collins and this is in a whole other league. Try it, you wont regret it.

I hear from many that Sri Thai is the best in Ft Collins and perhaps based on a Ft Collins scale this place may deserve more stars. However I just can't justify it. Tried the Tod Mun Gai appetizer which is supposed to be fried chicken patties mixed with Thai spices. What I think they really are is perhaps grocery store frozen chicken nuggets with scallions mixed into them. Their spongy texture makes you think they're fish cakes. Definitely will not order that again. Pad Thai isn't too bad but it certainly isn't good. It's ok and is safe. The basil fried rice was a bit questionable as there were exactly two pieces of basil in the dish. As a result there was very little basil taste in a dish that has basil as part of its name. On top of all this get this, we asked for chopsticks. They don't have any. Well hey, it is Ft Collins and I suppose the demographics mean there is no need for chopsticks. The interior looks like a country diner that is far too vast for the number of patrons. You go into the restaurant and it feels so barren. I haven't tried any other Thai restaurants in Ft Collins, but if everyone says this is the best place. Pretty much just assume all the other places don't even make a blip. The sweet rice with Thai custard is probably the only good part of the meal with the sweet rice being very well prepared and the custard being a very nice smooth texture with just the right amount of sweetness.

We love Sri Thai. We have been patronizing their restaurant for many years, going all the way back to when they were "Sawadee" on the Pearl St Mall in Boulder. We especially like their Veggie Thai Spring Rolls and the Veggie Shu Mai. Their soups are terrific, we order the Tom Ka with tofu, and the Tom Yom Gai with chicken. Some of our favorite entrees are Garlic Pepper Chicken, Pad Keo Mow, and Pad Kra Pow. And above all I can recommend their chicken satay which is tender and cooked to perfection with a heavenly peanut sauce. I guess some people take exception to some of their menu items, apparently they fancy themselves experts on the matter, but I can assure you that the cuisine at Sri Thai is 100% authentic, cooked with the finest ingredients. And yes, we have been there enough times that on some evenings, certain dishes are not up to their usual standards. But this is a rare occurrence, and the owners are eager to hear your feedback and make it right.

I was here I believe a long time ago before I spent my tenure in Denver. Since I moved back I completely forgot about the place since it is on the west side of town and I just never go over there. Recently in an out of the ordinary trip over to the west side I had it all flashing back to me that I did eat here a few times and really enjoyed it! So I went ahead and went back last weekend. I had their green curry dish and I must say that was the best green curry I have had in a very long time. We got a coconut soup which at first I did not know what to make of it as my taste buds were pondering the whole situation but in the end I liked it very much! We also ordered sticky rice custard with mango and that was simply divine! Yes! I am definitely going back here!

Great meal. There were five of us so a very good variety at the table. Started with the Tidbits(get two if more than four in party)I had the Srirachi(hot). Perfect spice, great flavor. Will definitely be back.

My service wasn't that good. And a huge complaint you're only allowed to get certain meats with certain dishes. I've never encountered this before and it was honestly kind of annoying. I forgot what I wanted but they wouldn't (like flat out refused) to make it with shrimp or me. O_O What I did end up ordering was good, but I'm just annoyed about that situation. The inside is HUGE for a Thai place, but wasn't that 'nice' looking.

Had the Thai Curry (coconut base) with chicken that was spiced up with "Thai Hot". (One can also choose mild, medium and hot.). If you like spicy hot, I mean really hot, you will enjoy Thai Hot. However, if you're like me and want to sweat a bit while enjoying good Thai food, get the Thai Hot x2. I didn't try this because I didn't know it was available. (It's not on the menu. Neither is Thai x10.) Admittedly, that one scares me a bit, but I'm sure it's delicious. We went on a Tuesday night. They had live jazz. Not what I was expecting for a Thai restaurant, but it was quite pleasing. Service was a bit slow, but only because the place was packed, plus they were training a new waitress. Despite the delays, it was definitely worth the wait. If I'm ever back in Ft. Collins, I will definitely visit Sri Thai again.

This is one of two restaurants my high school aged daughter chooses whenever we decide to enjoy a dinner out. We LOVE the Salt & Pepper Calamari - lightly breaded and seasoned with salt and pepper, then perfectly paired with Sriracha mayonnaise. A very delicate batter and incredibly tender calamari. She loves the Panaang Curry (a spicy red curry with peanuts) with tofu and brown rice. I'm mad for the Sesame Chicken - which is so incredibly tender and very lightly breaded and served with a light sweet and sour sauce - not the neon orange sauce that you are imagining. It puts all other Asian chicken dishes to shame in our community. There is truly nothing like it. The service was harried but attentive - the restaurant was very busy that evening. Our server kept our water carafe full the entire time we were there (which was a feat because we like to drink a lot of water during a meal!) We can always depend on a wonderful meal out when we dine here.

My fiancee and I LOVE coming to this place! It is locally owned and run and has the BEST pad thai I have ever had in my life. We have come here a long time and will continue to do so.

  • Mimi R.

Great service. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. We were brought glasses of water along with a full carafe of water (everywhere should do this). There ere lots of vegetarian options for appetizers as well as entrees. We enjoyed the veggie shu mai and veggie spring rolls for our starters and mussaman curry and moo sup stir fry for our meals. We were too full for dessert although next time I'll be sure to save room!

Three of us went to dinner here Tuesday Night and were delighted to find a Jazz group playing. It was great and the place was packed! The beers, appetizers, conversation and music made the waits just fine. For appetizers we had the Sri Thai tidbits and tempura shrimp. All were VERY tasty and fresh and warm and just lovely. For Dinner we had the Pad Thai, Phra Rham, and Thai Curry (Thai HOT). Well dinner was delightful and Full consumed. The Thai Curry was very edible and we may push up the heat to Thai times two (which is not on the menu, but available). The Phra Rham was done is a peanut sauce that was excellent, tasty, and such a wonderful smell. We will be back to test the other dishes... Hmmm what will be next?

There are 2 things I love about this place after our one visit. First, spiciness. They list mild/medium/hot/thai hot on the menu, but when I asked if they could make it even hotter, the waitress said "Sure, it goes all the way up to 10." I ordered drunken noodles at 11, and they did not disappoint. It was the perfect mix of beef, noodles, and peppers. The noodles were coated in a smoky dark pepper paste which was *amazing*. I barely needed to add any additional spices at the table, which I usually take the time to do. Second, freshness. My wife had the gluten free sweet and sour chicken. It comes stir fried with a good amount of vegetables which were all amazingly fresh and crunchy. The fact that almost all of their menu is gluten free was also very impressive.

Actually the worst food I have eaten in calendar year 2015. My meal had no sauce, made my entire house smell of rancid frying oil, and generally tasted like cardboard sprinkled with tons of stale red pepper. Nothing in my pantry could bring this food back from the brink. Not to mention, this place isn't cheap, and there are way better other Thai Restos in Fort Collins. Just terrible

I only write comments when I'm particularly impressed or disturbed by my experience. Ok, the waiter was beyond terrible. We wait 10+ minutes for drinks, only to be told they were out of what we ordered. Then one drink came, but the other missing. We ended up going to the bar to retrieve it...mind you it was wine. My red wine was clearly expired, but the bartender was awesome and recommend a new a different wine. All was good **waiter still MIA*** Our appetizer came out. Crab ragoons were good. Plus the bartender send out another dumpling appetizer that was good. The debacle of the first 30+ minutes was fading..... Then our main dishes came out and shit got hilarious. It was gross. My boyfriend (who literally never complains) and I both couldn't even eat our stir-fry dishes. What is that flavor??? My statement: I feel like I'm eating carcinogens. His statement: it tastes like liquid smoke. We casually ask if there is a grill or something back there. There wasn't. Before posting my boyfriend asked me to google liquid smoke to see if that is a real thing/flavor. It is and a potential carcinogen!!!! Glad I didn't eat mine Waste of money but a funny experience! Our waiter was terrible (and clearly didn't give a shit) and our food not edible---but seriously give the bartender a raise! She was so sweet and actually seem like she cared about our experience and the restaurant.

I got the Street Noodles Medium Spicy, they were flavorful and so good that I didn't want to stop eating them, even after I was full. That is a feat for me because usually once I am full I have to quit eating. My boyfriend had the Kea Mow also Medium. My dish was a little bit spicier than his. His had a wonderful earthy flavor with a hint of spice. I also ordered a Thai Coffee, it was perfectly sweet and had a rich caramel like flavor. I wouldn't suggest ordering it before/with dinner though, it was much better afterward.

  • CC T.

I'm giving this place 3 stars based off of what I ate, however I tasted my friends curry and it was far superior to what I ordered so I actually would give it 4 stars based off of that. The sesame chicken that I ordered was not very good, the fried batter on the outside didn't seem thoroughly cooked and was barely sauced with sweet and sour. The portion size of it was nice but it was basically just a lot of a bad tasting meal. My friend could not decide on a curry so our waitress brought a sampler of all of them which was very nice and that was very very tasty. We also had the toasted almond cheesecake which was very good as well. I recommend it, but be careful what you order there's about half disappointing and half delicious items on the menu.

Disclaimer: The quality of the food brought me from 1.5 stars to 3 stars. If you're a stickler for good service, go elsewhere. We came here for a birthday party with 11 people and so with all the conversations going on most people forget about the service, but I couldn't ignore it. I arrived first and wasn't greeted or shown to our table. Just stood there in the entryway like a goof until the bartender said "Yeah?". Move to the table scene: Four of us were seated for more than 15 minutes before the waitress ever bothered to say hello or get our drink orders. A good two hours later I think I had my water filled once and had two drink orders taken. But the food was seriously on point. Everyone was gushing about their meals, and I was very happy with my Sesame Chicken and Crab Wonton appetizer. Great for takeout!

One of my favorite restaurants in Fort Collins!! I eat gluten-free and this place has tons of options. My go to is the chicken satay appetizer, pineapple curry, and sweet rice and custard for dessert. I love that you can customize the spice to whatever you want. I usually go hot and my girlfriend goes medium. Then there is Thai hot and like 10 more levels above that. I've only eaten in one or two times and the service was great. I usually get it to go and if I'm early will sit and have a drink. Great atmosphere and amazing food. Simply the best. Also - don't miss the thai iced tea! Mmm

I would like to preface this review with a little bit about me and my husband. We look for flavor, spice (heat), clean, fresh food, with tons of veggies and flavorful pork. Sri Thai fits the bill, and then some. We had a few side requests and get happily obliged. Sliced fresh jalapeño on the side, extra veggies and no fish sauce. They were spot on. The heat was great- not too hot, yet enough to start some serious face glistening that had to be tamed with a napkin. The vegetables were fresh, crisp and full of flavor. Most of the reviews on this site focus on things that are not necessarily important to us- Like fast service, or monstrous portions. If the service is good, or bad, we go to restaurants for a foodgasm, not for the decor or the plates they serve the food on. This is the best thai food in Fort Collins- if your criteria fit ours. The restaurant is clean and the waitstaff was excellent and I just see that as a bonus. Oh, and the have a nice beer selection that is sometimes hard to find in a thai restaurant.

  • Brianna K.

At Sri Thai, the service was friendly, and the food was incredible. I had "street noodles" with beef which were beautiful. They came in a deep bowl which was explained by the waitress when she said that I needed to stir up the beautiful presentation of the dish to get the sauce to cover everything. This process elicited a jealous reaction from the rest of my party who ordered more typical noodle dishes which was all ended up sharing anyway. When the waitress saw that we were sharing our entrees, she laughed along with us and told us she could have gotten us extra dishes if she'd known our plan. Overall, the lunch at Sri Thai was excellent and a lot of fun. The staff was cheerful, and the food was divine.

I've been to my fair share of Thai food joints in the USA, but Sri Thai is by far my favorite. Who'd have thought I'd find such a gem in northern Colorado? The first time I went I had the street noodles, and oh man, were they good. I basically inhaled the dish when it arrived in front of me. The next time I tried the pineapple curry, which was just as fantastic. Both times I scraped the plate clean, but I didn't feel disgustingly full afterwards. My friend really likes their wonton soup, but I have yet to try it. She gets it every time though, so it must be pretty good. My biggest complaint is about the parking. I almost got into an accident the first time I came here. The lot is tiny and on a fairly busy intersection (Taft & Elizabeth). Traffic can get pretty backed up on both streets, so be very careful if you're turning left into the lot. Also, they close in the middle of the day. I tried to bring a friend here at what must have been 4 or 4:30, only to find the place closed. I didn't get a good look at the hours until the next time I went, but apparently they open again around 5. One last tip: if you're a fan of spicy food you can order beyond their Thai hot. Ask for Thai hot x 2, 4, 6, or 10 if you're feeling adventurous.

Good Pad Thai but stay away from the stir fry dishes. Nothing wrong with the flavor but the amount of meat they give you is criminal...not even enough to make a chicken salad sandwich. Literally about 1/3 of the meat you get at any other Asia restaurants.

  • Cari S.

The worst hours EVER. They clearly don't want or like money or they would be open for people to come eat there.

  • Markley W.

For the people complaining about them not providing chop sticks, you do realized chop sticks are not used to eat Thai food, so before you say they Americanized it learn about other cultures and their customs. Food is amazing, my boyfriend and I find ourselves in there almost every week.

  • Ron B.

I actually ordered take-out here by accident thinking it was a different place in town. Nonetheless, I drove there and picked up my order when I discovered my mistake. The only mistake was not realizing this place was there sooner. Very flavorful massaman curry that I enjoyed mightily. Certainly worth checking out, especially once you realize it's not really that far from downtown anyway.

Probably our favorite Thai place in town. Food has been consistently good, over 8 years. Service is sort if slow but we primarily do take out to avoid it. I wish I lived closer.

  • Rene N.

I've lived in San Francisco and grew up on the west coast so I know what good Thai food should taste like. Sri Thai definitely has the flavor and authenticity down, but it was a bit disappointing to see their presentation somewhat Americanized. For example, they don't give you chopsticks, and they've got salt and pepper shakers on the table. Go figure. Anyhow, our server was fab and the food was great, even if the proportions were a little skimpy. We waited FOREVER (close to an hour) for just one noodle entree and an appetizer, which were great once they finally arrived. Unfortunately we had to ask for rice, which was a bit of a surprise since in most places it's a given that you'll get some with your meal. Total cost for the deluxe appetizer sampler and one entree, $27 including tip. Through the years I've learned that ethnic food in Fort Collins tends to be disappointing, but Sri Thai turned that notion upside down. I'm glad we ate there, but if we ever return I'll make sure I'm not starving to death before I arrive.

I'm not sure why people recommend this place, perhaps because they are not familiar with quality Thai cousine and how it should taste. Thai is my favorite cousine and the Tom Ka Kai here is the worst I've ever had, it didn't even have lemon grass or basil! The Shu Mai was bland and the Thai curry mediocore. Because their curry does not even include veggies we had to pay $2 to add some and got unrinsed, sandy, broccoli. I hate to give a Thai place a bad review, but Sri Thai is not worth it and the worst Thai place in the Fort. If you want a more authentic experience, ambiance, and flavor, go to Bann Thai.

I am very picky about my panang and they nailed it! Every other place in Fort Collins I've been to serves watery, gross panang. Sri Thai however, has a thick and creamy one that I just can't get enough of!

I could eat Mussaman Curry and Pad Thai everyday. And every night. But not for breakfast, that's just nasty. Whatever this place lacks in any true Thai feel, it makes up for in flavor and value. But how could you even be "more Thai," especially in Colorado. And without being cheesy? So whatever they're doing works for me. My only gripe would be that on our most recent visit, after we were seated by the friendly hostess, we had to flag down wait staff to get waters, order, refills, the check, and then the correct check. Hopefully it was an off night. We will be back. Let us know what works for you Sri.

The service at Sri Thai is horrible. I was on my 1 hour lunch hour. We were there 2 full hours, mostly waiting for the server to pay attention. Hint to server: Most people who go there during the lunch hour only have an hour. Step it up! The restaurant was only 1/4 full so there was no reason why we shouldn't have had better service. At the end, we had to hunt down our server and our credit card. We thought maybe she had skipped town.

I absolutely love this place! I have eaten Thai all over the country, and Sri Thai has always been near the top of my list. Their Shu Mai is fabulous, as well as the Pad Thai and the Panang Curry. I also enjoy a nice Thai iced tea here from time to time. Overall I have never had a bad experience here and recommend it to everyone.

Hadn't been here for years. Still the same pleasant, clean atmosphere, and friendly service. I tried the curry puff and wife had the veggie shu mai. Both were quite good. Wife ordered the chicken panang curry, and I ordered the Keo Mow noodles with chicken. Both were very tasty. Next time, I would order the Keo Mow mild, instead of medium. It was too hot for wife. Hey, I always sweat, anyway. I'd go back. It almost always has a pretty good crowd.

Ugh! I need good Thai food in Fort Collins!!!! Ppppllleeeaaassseee!!!! Sri Thai is not all that great but I needed a Thai food fix fast so I placed a to go order. I ordered the Thai Curry with Tofu no bamboo shoots no jalapeno add broccoli - they charged me an extra $1.25 for friggin' broccoli! Oh well at least I'll get my Thai food fix I thought - not so - I got home and opened the curry it was chicken and maybe 4 pieces of broccoli - that's it! Being a vegetarian nothing ruins a meal faster than dead animals in my food. Oh well it smelled like butt anyhow. Sri Thai is off the list no matter how bad I want Thai food!

Before becoming a restaurant critic and blogging about all of the food and different places to eat in Fort Collins, our family frequented a select few restaurants - rarely stepping outside the boundaries of our food comfort zone. I wouldn't say that we were "regulars" at any place specific, though. Throughout the two years of writing Feasting Fort Collins, I've noticed that many other families in the community fell into the same habit - eating at the same places they liked, but not necessarily becoming "regulars." While dining out for reviews, I'd pay attention to others around us and how the servers interacted with them. I could always tell when someone was a regular, and it was a rarity. That is, until we ate at Sri Thai Sri Thai is located on the far west side of town on the north-east corner of Taft and Elizabeth. They are a family-owned restaurant, serving up authentic Thai to us Fort Collins folk since 1996. Not only do they serve authentic Thai, but they have an expansive gluten-free menu (including menu labeling showing so), a vast variety of vegetarian dishes (including veggie stock!), as well as cooking with canola oil, and have eliminated MSG from their menu. There are a whole lot of healthy options to choose from here. The Husband and I had a quick dinner date at Sri Thai after he got off work. We were some of the first people there, seated quickly and served very efficiently. As we briefly waited for our appetizer and entree, I noticed more and more people coming in for dinner. And they weren't random people, either. The majority of them (all different parties) seemed to be regulars. The staff knew them, what they typically ate and drank, chatting up about how their day went and proceeded to serve "the usual." Because this happened at so many different tables, it was completely unique to Sri Thai, and unlike anything I've witnessed in the 200 reviews I've written. Frankly, it was awesome, and it really made me feel confident about the food we were soon to eat. After our dinner date, I can see why there are so many regulars at Sri Thai. The service is friendly, but most importantly, the food is delicious. There are dishes for the adventurous eater, the more timid and of course, those looking to stick to specific diets like gluten-free and vegetarian. If I weren't busy eating my way through Fort Collins, I'd love to be a regular at Sri Thai, too.

Sri Tai is a great restaurant. We ususally order food for carry-out. A few times, they have given us the wrong size of food orders, but it's not a deal breaker. Be careful, their food can be very spicy!

The food was great. Fresh and tasty. The wonton soup was not that great but still good. The portions were kind of small. Loved the live jazz band. Definitely going back.

Another not-so-great Thai place in Fort Collins. Too expensive. The food is ok, but not worth the price at all. Ingredient quality is a bit better than the other restaurants. Also, we were there once when the owner or manager was lecturing the new employees, she was SO MEAN to them, she was acting like they'd been hired on to some great paying job with great benefits. She was really rude to them all, and it was quite unnecessary. Both my friend and I basically wrote the place off right then.
