Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

If you like the food at others in the chain you're fine, unless you like good service. While the L shaped bar probably seemed a good idea to the openers, it really should be that the tap wall is extended & some service tables tacked onto the back. Because then the patrons there would be served. It was a Tuesday around 6pm. Not dead but only so lively, and I'm accustomed to being patient at the bar if drink orders are flying in. Not really the case, plus my server had a partner, who handled the blender. Then again there's the 'blinders' where a drink *has* to be made at the crook of the L, and casual toss of the glance toward the short end could spell disaster in the recognition of customers thirsty for another craft brew, on (as it happened) this night of FC brewery appreciation. Nope, those blinders fulfilled that drink order, & turned counterclockwise & found others to serve the next few minutes. Repeat. Repeat. nbd, as my food became less piping hot & tasty. Not having been served water, genuinely thirsty, I waited & ordered another beverage promptly when opportunity finally knocked. Perhaps having my chin on my hand was mistaken as having just been done for effect as the server *remembered* this little section of her service area. No, it was genuine fatigue from a long day, and I had been in that position for well over counting. Still, congrats to your resilience to the message of 'customer not happy', it was another thrilling wait after my glass was empty to request the check. Just me? There were 2 empty glasses from guys drinking to my left & 2 to my right. But it's the bar, if you sit here you learn to just wait...no, at *this* Old Chicago it's a forgotten nook, or a server who needs Yelp to educate her to re-visit your customers - they just might have tacked on something like a pizza to-go & then tipped you proper. That was my plan all along. Great sabotage, girl.

Old C's in Old Town Fort Collins is the bomb.com ! Awesome wait staff, great management and check out the World Beer Tour! You get prizes for drinking beer, what beats that?
(5)Michael M.
Burgers, beers, and pizza. Yeah, I'm good with that. Nothing fancy here, and quite honestly, the service sucks.I don't want to be a downer, the place is great for a burger and a beer, but it's so mundane, and I will not give it more stars just because it is relatively good. It's ok, but not special.

Best Pizza in Town, Lots of BEER

EXCELLENT pizza! I'm originally from Chicago and haven't had a good pizza since I left in 1999. We were traveling and our hotel desk clerk recommended Old Chicago. We ordered our pie with the Chicago crust and it was melt in your mouth awesome!! You can't miss on the beer selection either. There are so many options to wet your whistle here.
(5)Christy S.
Food and service were really good. Charlie was our server and made great recommendations on appetizers and drinks. I'm not normally a salad person (personally I don't believe it should count as a meal) BUT I got the bacon chicken avocado salad and it did not disappoint.

I threw away my World Beer Tour card a while back. They have an okay lineup of local brewery's flagship beers and several other pretty common craft brews. They also have several beers that pretend to be craft or imported but really aren't. There's too much incredible beer out there to waste my time trying to collect tastes of the just okay beer they serve here. The food and atmosphere are very streamlined. It's an alright chain, so everything is consistently pretty good, but there's nothing on the menu that's going to blow your mind. You might even consider it comfort food. Odd thing, they seem to have more chicken items on the menu than any place I've eaten, even moreso than KFC. Thin crust pizzas are good, but way too expensive for what you get ($21 for a 14''!). I'm pretty sure you can go get something twice as good for that much or less just around the corner at Uncles Pizzeria. The pizza, one salad, a piece of cheesecake, a beer, an a cocktail cost upward of $50, and more than $60 after the tip. Not enough bang for the buck in my opinion. I do have a pecial place in my heart for them, since this location was where I had my first legal drink when I turned 21 (9 years ago). They made me wait until right at midnight, then the bartender poured me a shot of Wild Turkey. Yeehaw!

When it take 30 minutes to get a beer, and only a apology to make it okay. After this waiter set there and let his manager grill him while my beer is waiting in his hand only a arms reach away. Pathetic. Man they suck, the Italian sausage is sad at best, lucky most everyone is drunk. The lost for considerations and responsibility must have been lost in management. Only 1 star cause they are usually better. Worst Old C's ever.

I used to come here for dinner, and it was okay. I thought the food was more expensive than it was worth. Now I only come for their Happy Hour (10PM to close). They have drink specials for their beer and $2 appetizers/small meals. I really like getting their pan pizza for that cheap! It's a great late night snack. The most recent visit was on a Tuesday, where they had their tall beers for $3. I really like the laid-back atmosphere too because I can just sit at a table with friends. Much better than standing up in a dark bar with crazy loud music and creepers about. If you are over 21, I recomend coming here late at night!

We should have known this would be a terrible experience after waiting at the hostess stand for several minutes and having none of the passing 5 waitstaff acknowledge us with a simple greeting or "I'll be right with you." After waiting 35 minutes after we ordered, the food was mediocre, and the service was the worst. After delivering our food, the server asked if there was anything she could get us and walked away before we could reply. The beer would have been great, had it not sat on the bar for 15 minutes after being poured and if we wouldn't had to retrieve it ourselves. All of this would have been forgivable had the restaurant been busy on a Sunday mid-afternoon, or if the server would have provided an explanation. With so many choices of restaurants and bars in Old Town, no need to waste time with this one.

Gluten free Pizza good. But mojitos had no alcohol. After one no buzz so had another. Should have switched my drink after one. Very disappointing.

Came in here for a quick lunch while in town for business. Great lunch special for $7.99 for a personal pizza 8" and unlimited salads. No need for unlimited salad, the first one was a really good portion. Top it off with a pepperoni mushroom 8" deep dish pizza and my belly AND wallet are happy. Out the door under $11 with tip. I did not give 5 stars as I have had better Chicago style pizza elsewhere but this was good. Wasn't deep dish enough and would have liked more sauce. That comes at a trade off though cause it takes more cooking time and I was in a semi-rush so I appreciated that it came out quickly.
(4)Dawn E.
My fave place for pizza and beer! Tonight was super busy and our pie was taking forever but our wait person ( Shay!) was great though and it was totally worth the wait! Don't forget to sign up for their beer your; I got free pizza for my birthday!!!
(4)Ines S.
I really like the Happy Hour here. I like the chicken wings and pizza there.(Only $2!!) Also the cheap cocktail is really a big deal!!! Good place to hand out in late night!
(4)Mark P.
Had reservations for a large group (40 or so) on a Saturday nite during the music-festival weekend. Servers were on top of everything and kept the food coming. At the end of the evening, every family had their own ticket. Nicely done!
(5)Gabe M.
Updating my review. It's ok. Not too bad. Service is okay.
(3)Stacy H.
I love the pizza at this place. The thin double deckeroni is so delicious! It is a fun atmosphere. I have gone twice in the last week. Both times it took awhile for them to find tables even though it wasnt busy, which was kinda weird. I guess there is just some new staff. I highly recommend.
(5)Brent H.
Stay away from the happy hour appetizers. Stingy is an understatement. I calculated $.22 per snap pea and $.60 per slice of zucchini. Pizza was fair but for $20+ for a pizza, I was left wanting. Pizza Hut would have been a better option. The only redeeming quality was the service which was good. We most likely won't be back.

I've been to this OC's a few times now over the years and I must say, yes, yes I'm a fan. Sure, it's Old Chicago. Yes, it's safe to say I'm biased in that regard. Yes it's pretty much the same wherever you go. But sometimes, familiarity is a great thing when all you want to do is watch the baseball game, have a beer and some pizza without any guess work. You can count on these things being available at OCs. No Russian Roulette. Friendly staff, fun locals, good beer, tasty bits. When you don't want to risk a new joint out, OC's is always a safe bet.

Its a fun atmosphere here with billiards if you're into it and a number of TVs for the sports enthusiast. It can get loud and seems to be a popular college favorite. The service wasn't extraordinary when we went, but it was sufficient. I really like a good pizza, but this pizza didn't meet my expectations. It was really really greasy and I felt like I'd eaten an anvil about 20 minutes later. I'd prefer more sauce, less cheese, and better crust. The crust can make or break a pizza, and this crust, well wasn't cutting it. Its an average eatery with less than average food for a bit too expensive of a price.
(2)Alyssa S.
This is the place I go to every time I am out in FoCo. Though there have been some changes recently I have found them all to be positive. Most recently I was impressed with the service and management. I felt my food wasn't cooked the way I wanted it to be and the quickly brought me out more food and comp'd my meal. I was impressed with my waitress who handled the situation in an upfront manner, and didn't avoid it and for the manager who came to talk to me apologize. I work in customer service and I know how to handle a complaint and they did it perfectly! Thank you for the great service!
(5)Samantha E.
I do NOT want to know how much money I spent here my senior year at CSU... when I frequented Old C's at least once or twice a week. The entrees aren't on the cheap side, but they're big enough to share. The strombolis are especially tasty, as is the Little Big Cookie if you're in the mood for dessert. Where Old C's truly shines is in happy hour, where for four hours a day, mini pizzas and Colorado drafts are cheap. And with 110 total beer options (and the World Beer Tour!), plus super-friendly service, how can you complain? One of my most-missed spots in Fort Collins, and highly recommended.

Huge place. Big college hangout type place. The pizza is good. Pool tables.

We visited 5:30PM on Wednesday night, were seated right away, and our waitress was ridiculously attentive with tea and water, so we were off to a good start. We ordered and weren't waiting long before our food arrived, and that's when things took a turn. When the waitress brought out the food, everything was delivered to the wrong spot. No problem. We're all friends here, kind of. The only problem is, it's wicked easy to defend your "food territory" when you get what you actually ordered. I didn't. I was delivered what looked like a spinach salad on top of a pizza. (I'd ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza, Tuscan Chicken Pizza was delivered - I think). It was also on the wrong crust. Whatever; weird, no problem. I'm not one to waste food and it was an opportunity to try something new. For the record - my pizza was very good. Once I found it. Under. the. salad. Is that a thing, now? Are we hiding "fat kid" food under "skinny kid" food? Is that a new diet? If not, I claim it. It's mine, I'm writing the book. We also ordered a big cookie for desert - and, as I previously mentioned, I'm a fat kid and as such, rarely wary of a cookie. This one seemed to arrive just a little *too fast*, though. I could just be paranoid, but I think it takes longer than 1.5 minutes to cook one of those things... I'm pretty sure we either stole someone else's or this one was already waiting. When I asked about it, the server (not our waitress) seemed a little flustered or nervous or irritated even that I'd asked the question. I was waiting for Admiral Ackbar to pop out from behind one of the booths. When it came time to split the bill (the waitress offered - normally I don't ask because at most places when you ask they treat you like you just slapped their grandmother), the waitress split our orders correctly. However, she then charged every meal to just one card... even though we had completely different colored cards, each in their own pocket with the correct ticket associated. I'm not sure how that happens. When you have to check with the bank to see if your card was actually used or not after a meal... that's an indication something's gone terribly wrong. I usually don't complain about the price of food - I get that going out to eat can be expensive. We paid almost $60 for 3 of us with no appetizers; just 3 entres with 2 standard side salads and an iced tea and a cookie... (add two drinks and a side salad and we'd have hit $70 before tip) at $20/person, we could have hit up The Melting Pot or paid about $15-30 less at Ingredient, Stuft, Beau Jo's, or Uncles with a similar experience and similar order. Long story short: a pricey, delicious meal filled with needless errors that just didn't add up.

If you want the same high quality of food every time this is the place to go. Don't get the pizza, it's pricey and there are much better places in town. Sports are always on and they have the UFC fights. The beer choices are very numerous and they can make all the mix drinks better than other places.
(4)Bruce E.
Goes in cycles. New staff, too crowded, full moon, all end up with bad service and inconsistent food. Use to love the Italian nachos, but they keep sending them out burnt.

If you are going to go to an Old Chicago in Fort Collins, do not go to the one in Old Town; go to the one on Harmony Road. Tonight a couple friends and I went to the Old Town location for some late night food. We wanted to be sat in a dining area but we waited a few minutes to long for a host and decided to settle on sitting in the bar. Once we sat down it took us over 10 minutes to be greeted and put in a drink order. We ordered two Apps (Artichoke Dip and Italian Nachos) and a Pizza (Chicago 7). It took about 20 minutes for the Artichoke Dip to arrive and then we were informed that the Nachos had been dropped and they were making us some new ones. Working in a restaurant myself when something falls or gets messed up it becomes a number one priority and is made on the fly. This was not the case here. It took another 20 minutes to get the nachos and they had arrived after our pizza. Simply not prompt at all. To sum up our night, we went in for a quick late night dinner. We arrived at 10:30 and did not leave the restaurant until 12:20 (not by choice). Do not waste your time or hard earned money here!

The staff is great and the beer selection is outstanding. Very large dining area with lots of different types of seating. Good family spot or hanging with friends watching a game. I will be back
(4)Kate A.
This was our very first restaurant experience in Fort Collins. We got a traditional sausage deep dish pizza and it was amazing. Despite the cooking method and generous toppings, it wasn't greasy and didn't leave us regretting an indulgent meal. We sat on the patio on a nice fall day and at least three groups stopped to tell us how amazing our food smelled!
(5)Cassy M.
The beer and food is great but the service is the worst. I don't know if they need more servers on, smaller sections or what. Sit at the bar if you don't want to be forgotten. This one bartender with the beard is super nice !
(3)Tyler R.
Good atmosphere and several pool tables available, which is nice. Loads of TVs and they have sports packages, so they'll put on the game you're looking for. The "Chicago-Style" pizza I had, though, was spectacularly bad: flavorless crust and not nearly enough sauce. Seriously, it was abysmal.
(2)Shannon B.
The food was really good but the service was terrible. We were here for about 3 hours, a group, and maybe had 2 refills the entire time. It took about 45 min to get our food and what felt like an hour to get a check. On my way home I stopped to get gas and my card was declined, when I checked my bank statement I noticed the server had overcharged my credit card AFTER I signed for the correct amount! I called the manager and she was polite but only said she would TRY to adjust it correctly. The service is definitely not worth eating here, who accidentally over charges a card AFTER printing a correct amount?!?!
(1)John L.
Food and beer was good, service was appalling. We arrived on a busy Fri night and advised of a15 min wait,we're given an electronic pager and went to the bar ordered beers and waited. Soon enough we got paged for a table and presented with menus, and that was the last we saw of our waitress. After 25 mins and staring at empty glasses we finally grabbed a passing waitress who sent our designated waitress. From the discussion it appeared that by bringing beer from the bar to our table we had 'confused' her, not accounting for the menus still sat in front of us. To top it all when putting a $50 with the check to cover the $30 bill, she returned asking if we wanted change. $20 tip for that sort of service? We won't be returning.
(1)Ashley E.
So my star rating is contingent on having Matt as our server. When Matt is around, we get stellar service and obvious interest in how our party is doing. The food is usually okay, though pricey, and we go for the cheap big beers on Tuesday, which are, happily, cheap and big. The saddest news for us is that Matt is so awesome that he has moved on to bigger and better nights, so we're muddling through until we can find a new super awesome waitperson.
(4)Albert H.
Good tap selection here and the same food as other Old C locations. Mine was a daytime visit, so things weren't terribly busy and service was good. I especially appreciated the number of Colorado taps.
(4)Bryan B.
The food is good, the atmosphere is good, the specials are good...but I can almost always count on lacklustar service at Old C's. Not just this location, but it seems like more often than not I end up with an unenthusiastic, inattentive, aloof server that could care less I'm there. Or who would rather spend time flirting with co-workers than actually serve anything. And the nights when I get a good server, I usually have to deal with a host or hostess who acts like it's always thier first night on the job. Once I had a server make us stand at the front of the restaurant for 5 mnutes while she cleaned off menus. She said she coulnd't seat us with dirty menus....sounds ok right? But she didn't mean she needed to wipe off OUR menus, she wanted to finish wiping off all the menus at the front before she could take the 35 seconds to show us a table. Argh. That being said, there are some very fun people that work at this location, and the food an atmosphere is usually awsome. So even though I'm not usually impressed with the service I still go back. And Happy Hour is great...if you join the World Beer Tour Wednesday is happy Hour ALL DAY.
(2)Michelle P.
Great place to watch games, sip on a few cold ones, and munch on some YUMMY calzones. I visited here on my last trip to Fort Collins in March, found the bartender to be friendly, the patrons to be engaging, the views of my bruins not covering the spread in March Madness, perfect (the view that is... the lack of coverage was of course disappointing). Plus, the prices were very reasonable.
(4)Ruben B.
Great pizzas, burgers and sandwiches. Cool Old Town hangout and a great bar area. Cheap big beers on Tuesdays. Really good spot to watch a game or shoot some pool. The service can be a little inconsistent unless you're lucky enough to get Brian or Dan. Those guys are the best!
(4)Jeromey G.
Downtown Old C's is one of my favorite bars. They have an amazing happy hour that they run each day from 10pm on, where I believe beers are $2 or 2.50 for Colorado beers, but they have personal pizzas for $2.50 with a quarter for each topping. I've killed many mini pizza's on those late nights. The Italian nachos are amazing to eat as well, and for dessert they have a huge cookie. If you're looking to watch sports and hang out I'd go for the bar (21+), but if you're looking to have conversations go with the dining room (all ages). There are TV's all around the restaurant, but if you're there to watch the game you probably won't get a good view from the dining areas. I've had better service in the bar area, but it's definitely more crowded. The beer tour is really fun. It's not what it used to be, as they used to give you permanent discounts when you hit certain milestones. Now they just give you worthless crap, but it's a good way to try other beers. Old C's is the best way to start off an evening in Old Town. You get some good food and good drink before you start going to some of the crazy places. Don't expect to get the same experience at their south location off Timberline (which I call "New Chicago's"). Every time I've gone there the service has either been really slow or screwed up.
(5)Frankie B.
I like old C's, especially the calazones. I visit the harmony location as I live closer to it, although I enjoy the old town location more. Both have great atmosphere with a great staff.
(4)Samantha M.
Good drinks and bar atmosphere if that's what you're looking for, but the food is awful. they ahve this "warm" choc chip cookie that was not warm at all and hard as a rock, and the pasta dish I got was terible - it's not quality food at all and the menu is large, but hard to find something worth eating on.
(2)Tracey Lee D.
My second favorite bar in Fort Collins. Great place to hang out, great place to eat, great place to get your drink on. The kicker with this place is they have the Old Chicago World Beer Tour. You get a little card and track the different beers you have had at any of their establishments. Once you reach 110 different beers, " you get your name forever emblazoned on The Famous Hall of Foam and instant bragging rights for dear mom." In my years living in Ft. C while legally able to drink, I completed 2.5 beer tours (look for my name on the wall in the hallway by the bar just off the middle on the right), as you can only get 6 new beers put on your card in a day, no matter how many you may drink. But for those of you who really need a hobby, you can complete the tour in 18.3 days if you really put your mind to it. So they have a ton of different and obscure beers (their Broom field location even has "cheap canned beer" as a regular on the menu), and you are pretty much assured to find something that you like (my favorite is JD Dundee's Honey Brown Lager). Their nachos are scrumptious, and back in the day when I ate meat, their chicken strips with fries were a staple of my diet. Of course, they have pizza and calzones, salads and all sorts of other food one would expect to find in a Chicago styled sports bar. They have plenty of pool tables, video games, pinball machines, TV's all over the place, a private room for big parties, and a pretty big, clean and well lit woman's restroom (can't tell you about the men's room, as I never was forced to use it due to long lines with in the woman's!). I got to know many of the bartender's and servers very well while in college (I promise I didn't have a drinking problem), and while I would imagine that many have moved on, if Ralph is still there, he gets my vote for best bartender in Fort Collins. I love that man.

good food good prices and they even run special prices on personal pan pizza's yummy
