Loaded with college kids and completely wet floors. Quite a mess but I had been warned and was expecting worse. Wear your rain boots and take some shots and you'll get over it. Despite the crowd I was able to get a drink pretty quickly.

My last visit to my old home was tarnished due to the horrible service and treatment that my friends and I received from Boni staff. Do they even know the "service" part of Food Service??? Watered down and overpriced drinks, food that was cold and WAY too salty, and a server who was indifferent to our gripes. Save your $ for a better place.

The manager was the biggest dick and had no concern for costumer service. He had complete disregard for my comment about his staff being disrespectful. I would not recommend this bar as a place to go to if you want to be treated with respect. If you want to have a good night this bar is not the place to go. I once attended this bar regularly, and loved it. But with the new management I have never been treated this way and do not think anyone ever should. It is a waste of your time.

Glad to have an Australian themed bar. Long boards as tables and they even have alligator meat. Server was really nice. Not fancy but comfortable. Outdoor sitting too.

Had a livingsocial deal, so my husband, dog, and I headed down there this sunny Saturday to hang out on their patio area and enjoy a late lunch with drinks. We both had to try the gator tacos and they. were. PHENOMENAL. Some of the best tacos I've ever had! The gator meat was perfect, the tortillas were super yum, and all the drinks were delicious/expertly mixed! Jordan was bartending AND was our waitress and she was on point the whole time. Would recommend to anyone looking for good tacos and cocktails. Thanks Bondi!

It was a busy night in Fort Collins and when we spotted a table at the beach bar we nabbed it. Our server was attentive and pleasant and told us about the Happy Hour. We decided to try the bacon wrapped shrimp and seared ahi tuna. Both were delicious. When we left I pulled up Yelp and saw mediocre reviews. Our experience was really different. It's also a great spot for people watching!

Went in for my birthday and after a few drinks and some dancing we decided to go else where. As I was closing my tab, another customer I did not know, walked past me and grabbed my ass with both hands and quickly ran to the bathroom. His friends at the bar were laughing and trying to act as if they weren't involved. I confronted his friends and confirmed with them that he was with them. I watched him walk out of the bathroom and spilled my cup of ice on him for what he had done. I was kicked out and my attacker was defended by this business. My sister spoke to the manager about the situation and he reacted as if the bouncer has had a past with being trigger happy. When pressed for his name, the manager quickly became very uptight and blamed my actions for me being kicked out. He claimed the bouncer saw everything and that is absolutely incorrect. I have 2 witnesses to everything I went through, not once was there a bouncer in sight. A warning to all women, if you are going into this bar, know that the staff will not protect you from sexual assult or harassment.

My husband and I were visiting Fort Collins from Oregon as he'd never been to Colorado before. We decided on Bondi as they had outdoor seating, which was perfect for the beautiful day and people watching. Service was quick, our server was very friendly, the drinks were great, and the alligator on rice was a perfect snack! We would definitely return!

I'm not from Fort Collins, but my sister lives there and she was turning 21. We took her out at midnight, and went to a few bars. Had a good time at all of them, one bartender (who will remained unnamed) told us to go to Bondi's. It was probably about 1 a.m. by the time we got there, so we weren't there too long, but it reminded me of my favorite bar in Virginia Beach on the oceanfront. If you're looking for high class, steer clear. But this place was tons of fun. The bartenders were attentive. The music was great. Dancing was good. There was a good mix of college kids and young adults. Our mom was even with us, and she had a blast. We'll be back.

As far as restaurants in Old Town go, there are much better. Had a pretty weak caesar salad. The service was good though, nice employees!

Go during the day, their food is seriously a gem - get the Caribbean jerk wings, they are sooo delish. At night, this is a place to meet generally less-than-classy but more-than-willing women or cheeseball dudes. Always a good time to be had here, but I always bring my own friends. Service is great.

Bad service. When we were on the patio, three people asked us if we want water, no one brought anything. Our dog was not offer water, hey this is Fort Collins.

I love this bar, great atmosphere, and they let girls dance on the bar now! Coyote ugly style, but with less slutty clothes. The drinks are sort of overpriced, but they have some theme parties and special nights that are a blast. Definitely check it out!

We do not frequent Bondi Beach Bar, but have passed through when bar hopping in old town. It is usually too dark and crowded (or maybe we have drunk too much) by the time we stop here to see this shipwreck for what it is. Atmosphere: We would like to say it's just another beach themed bar with an Australian twist, but this one is particularly dirty. The floor is hard wood and appears to be crumbling from wear and the feeble attempts to mop it have only pushed all the sludge into the corners. Upon closer inspection, we noticed chewed gum stuck under tables and in visible crevices. There was a layer of dust above the booths and in the window sills as well as drink/food stains on the walls, seats, windows, ceiling, and everywhere else we looked. Service: There was one guy on duty, covering the bar and tables . Since this place is a ghost town prior to happy hour, he had plenty of time to fill the salt shakers in between kitchen runs. He seemed genuinely surprised we came in for a late lunch or food at all. Drinks: Bondi Beach Bar has a fully stocked bar with your average selection of booze, but leaning more towards the fruity and flavored vodkas found in most night clubs. Food: There is not much of a menu by day, offering only a few burgers, sandwiches and salads. We did try the Bondi Burger and the Black and Blue Burger during our visit. Both burgers were actually good considering, but maybe our expectations had dropped after taking a look around the place.

(late night only) Ended up at Bondi at the end of CSU's Pub Crawl since I didn't wear my shirt (oops) and the last official bar was requesting a cover for those without one. I'm glad we ended up at Bondi though - the vibe was fun, always love music videos on the TVs, and the porch area was a nice change of pace. I was so confused when some ladies started dancing on the bar until I realized that the bar *wanted* ladies to dance on them. Don't ever see that in DC. One thing that would have been helpful would be to get rid of the chairs at the bar by 10/10:30 PM. It's a pain in the ass to order drinks around people who are sitting at that point in the evening.

Bondi ROCKS! Best food in town and best selection of local brews, close to breweries, plenty of outside seating, inside seating, tons of HD tv's to watch whatever you want! Great food! Excellent new menu! Bison Meatloaf is the bomb!

When I was in elementary school, some of my friends and I would write each other messages in invisible ink during recess. We would sit in the grass on the soccer field, watching our school crushes run around trying to score goals. We giggled hysterically at the notes we thought we were so clever at making. Each one of us had a decoder pen to later scribble over the invisible ink and read our hilariously secretive banter. It always turned out that the secretive part of writing was more fun than finding out the actual message, since the note was typically lame. It was an interesting lesson on perception - sometimes things are always as they seem. I was recently reminded about the lesson of perception when I ate (and later drank) at Bondi Beach Bar. Many of the bars around town are getting a bad rap for the drunken madness that goes on after dark, and I suppose that's what most people think about when they walk on by during the day. It really is all about perception. Bondi Beach Bar replaced Zydeco's (lovingly referred to as "Zyde-ho's" for all of the girls dancing on the bar) in 2009, and while not as crazy as Zydeco's was, it's still on the map for the college bar scene. During the day, Bondi Beach bar is quiet and sunny, with beautiful exposed brick walls, splashes of blue color, and creative wooden surfboards used as tables. They have the perfect patio overlooking Old Town Square, where you can people watch to your hearts content. It looks like an interesting place to eat, because where else are you going to find an Australian theme other than Outback Steakhouse? After leaving Bondi Beach Bar, I felt that same lesson of perception kick in as I first learned in elementary school. Sometimes, things aren't always as they seem. While the food here at the bar is less than impressive, saving a couple of unique dishes, it's the carefully crafted cocktails that I'll be coming back for, and I didn't expect to find them here. I prepared myself for low grade drinks made by a professional Jager bomb slinger. And sometimes, I like being wrong. My perception of Bondi is different.

Love it! Happy hour till 7pm. Probably the best burger I've had with sweet potato fries. $2 wells and local beer. Epic location. Nice atmosphere inside and south facing patio outside.

The Bondi Beach Bar is kind of an ' Australian' , beachy type place. The atmosphere is ok, nothing super duper amazing but ok. One of the things that you can order to eat here is a grilled alligator appetizer. Steve and I ordered it. It wasn't too bad. It kind of had the taste of a cross between fish and chicken. It was VERY salty and I don't know if gator comes that way or if the cooks prepared it that way for it to be more tolerable for American palates. I would like to try gator again and see if it is that salty and do a compare/contrast on the taste. I hear down south has amazing gator to eat. But isn't crocodiles normally native to Australia rather than alligators? I know they are not classified as the same. They are different reptiles. Hmmmm. I also had fish tacos which were actually pretty good. I would say that it would score a 3.5 for me there. Steve had a hamburger I believe which was pretty good as well. The dessert we ordered was just fine as well. We really didn't chug down on any of their alcoholic drinks so I can't really comment on that there but it was a reasonably enjoyable meal but I wouldn't necessarily incorporate the place onto my favorite list per se.

once again, i feel bad harshing on locally owned businesses, particularly ones that are new, but man, this place has bad, bad food. i gave it one start because they had one of new belgium's fancy seasonals on tap. this place is in the spot that used to be zydeco's, right across the way from coopersmith's. given that coop's is packed on a friday night and this place was wide open, we decided to give it a try. the decor looks great, kinda upscale even. they're kinda going for an australian theme of some sort, but not really (?) didn't understand that, but anyway. menu has mostly pub grub, with a few dishes. i was hungry for something other than burger-fries or pizza, so i went for the sea bass with polenta, eggplant, and coulis, and a "micro-salad." here's what i got: some fish in a bowl of tomato soup. the server told me after orrdering that "the sauce they put on it is reaeeaaaaally good." it was a bowl of soup! i started to laugh then realized, wait a minute - i'm paying for a *fish* dish and i just got a totally different thing. my husband had a burger and fries. fries tasted like shrimp. figured out they were "creatiing" the "tempura shrimp" in the exact same oil as the fries (frozen from the bag, BTW.) it would be funny if not for the price tag. these guys should just stick to being a bar. the food thing is just not happening. bottom line - just deal with the wait at coopersmith's.

I have not been here during the day, only at night for dancing. the dancing is good - when there is a line outside, it moves fast. the music is pretty good, but the dance floor is small - so for more room to dance go to sports exchange.
