I have had many, many donuts in my life. It has become a food that I know well, but do not seek out because they all started to taste the same. Until I came across this little joint in Evergreen. And now the bar is set so dang high, I don't think I will ever FULLY enjoy another donut again. These donuts are German-style (I believe): fresh, tasty, perfectly dense... soft and chewy on the inside, crisp and buttery on the outside... every single bite is absolute heaven. They are really unlike any other donut I've ever had, but at the same time, they embody donut perfection. Even if you are not a donut fan, I recommend trying one of these delightful pastries. They really know what they're doing.

Mm sorry we were not impressed at all with the dough they use or flavor of there Danishes it's a weird spot to have a bakery not easy to find

Though I live in the area, I have only been here once and it wasn't a great experience. It must be the type of place that you can only place large orders for pick up, not really a place you can just go in on a whim and pick up some treats. As soon as we walked in we definitely felt like we were getting the cold shoulder, or like we were bothering the people running the place. Very unpleasant feeling. Not sure why they have a store front if they don't want people dropping by, as least that's how it seemed. The display cases were pretty bare, too. Just weird, in general.

Just stopped in the pastry shop while visiting downtown Evergreen, and had a great experience. Robert and Becky were helpful and friendly, the pastry and cookie displays looked AMAZING, and the donut tasted spectacular. You can smell the "wonderfullness" even from outside!

Can only comment on the glazed donuts, and they were great. Fresh, tasty, warm. Full of yum. Do try.

We got our wedding cake from here and it was amazing. We were quoted at insane prices from other places and Robert have us a great quote. The cake was delicious and well worth the place. Their customer service was great. If you are having your wedding in Evergreen, do yourself a favor and have your cake made here!

From the very first moment you see this bakery with the Alpine flowers and herbs growing out front in gardens, you know that what you are going to put into your mouth will be special, but you just cannot describe the velvety, buttery, dripping with glaze goodness that your tongue is about to experience. Ya just gotta do it! These Berliners(doughnut) are addictive. Everything is made with the freshest of ingredients. The old world way artisans have of perfecting a craft by centuries of trial and error. There is no sign of error now, just the perfection. Every year I come from Kansas City to purchase, devour and hoard them away, all while licking my fingers and smacking my chops. if it sounds like I want you to try this... you're right. Why would you pass up and opportunity like this? INDULGE!.

We ordered our wedding cake through Robert at Alpine Pastries. The process was very smooth and easy. We asked for a small, 2-tiered wedding cake (decorated simply with flowers) and 4 additional small cakes for our guests to choose from. They were all decorated beautifully to match the theme of our "Colorado mountain" wedding and they were absolutely DELICIOUS. The carrot cake is to die for and the various chocolate cakes are amazing. As soon as I made the order I knew that Robert and his wife would take care of the rest! I showed up to the reception and was totally impressed by what they had done. Oh yeah, and I spent a good hour with my bridesmaid's gorging on left-over cake at the after-hours party!! Yum!!! ;)

We got our wedding cake at Alpine Pastries in 2004 - it was wonderful and everyone loved it, plus I swear it was cooked with love. The whole experience of picking the cake and getting it was very personal and easy. Also, knowing I was on a tight budget, Robert helped me think of ways to save money and still get a wonderful cake. It was refreshing while planning a wedding. Robert also baked us a 6 inch mini cake for our one year anniversary - a very special touch. My cousin is getting married later this year and my husband and I are giving the happy couple a wedding cake from Alpine Pastries as a wedding gift. I would definitely recommend!!

As a resident of Evergreen I love to support local business and I absolutely love and miss a good bakery but every time I try to buy at Alpine Bakery the is absolutely nothing on display for sale so I never buy anything. Apparently you have to place orders but I sure would love a bakery that had baked goods available for sale.

This place has the best donuts ever! I once had a donut close to as good as the ones at Alpine pastries in New Zeland. The owners are wonderful and nice. I have ordered cakes and cookies and they were to die for. This place is a GEM.
