My first time to the Copper Pot was terrible. I decided to have the Chopper Pot which is simply pork chops with 2 sides. The pork chops were dry and very overcooked. The green beans were limp and overcooked. The mashed potatoes were good. Dinner salad with Italian dressing came out with Thousand Island dressing. Dinner with shoestring fries came out with wedge fries. On the brighter side the staff is friendly.

I had a green chili burger with Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was made from scratch and had some good spice. The chilis in the burger still tasted green. I would have liked more roasting. The food is what they claim, neighborhood comfort food. Challenges: parking, wait staff (although friendly, struggled to keep up with 4 tables), HVAC (very cold dining room).

I give this place a great review for their burgers! I am addicted to the "copper slopper" !! I ask for no bun on top... Eat it with fork... It's a burger over steak fries with really good and SPICY green chili on top!!! I also love the happy hour sized copper slopper. This is a unique place that keeps me coming back. I also appreciate the smaller portion choices on the dinners. The copper Chopper is yummy too!!! Pork chop dinner!!!

I've been to the copper pot on Broadway many times. The food is always pretty good, but 90% of the time the service is slow and drawn out. So I thought I'd try the Hampden location. Well it wasn't much different, the restaurant was slow when we got here but for some reason every think we requested took forever. The food was good, the service was nothing to brag home about. Despite enjoying the food, I'm coming to an end with my visits to the copper pot. :-(

Everything from the pulled pork Mac and cheese and wings are good! Friendly service got out in a reasonable time and it's super close to home so over all this place is a must go and try cheap beers and wine and food so if your looking to be a regular somewhere this would be it!

Dining at the Copper Pot was not at all what I expected. Based on the reviews (or perhaps just a preconceived notion), I figured it was a big brew spot- lots of beers on tap, etc. Instead it's this hole in the wall on the side of the Hampden Frontage road. A little bar with just two beers on tap (one being Coors/Bud). Truth be told, Hubs and I were a bit hesitant to give it a try when we first walked by- but we threw caution to the wind and decided to stay. I'm so glad we did! I seriously felt like we were in Smalltown, USA - people were friendly, definitely a neighborhood feel, and the food was delicious! They have a small wine list but I opted for the Malbec (a mere $6 and ust $5 during happy hour) and it was actually quite good. Very unexpected! They do have a pretty decent can/bottle list and Hubs found a few different brews to enjoy too. (Also $1 off during hh- but not too expensive regularly- $3.50, maybe??) For food, I had the mushrooms (which are gluten free minus the crostini) and they were SO good! I could have ordered another plate of those. Hubs had the spicy wings and he really liked them. In fact, he wanted to go back again the next day. There is something very crave-worthy about home style food. Lastly, going for broke, we shared a plate of the cheese fries with green chile (also gluten free because they use corn starch instead of flour to thicken) and again...delish. Don't go here thinking you're going to find something super healthy but instead just transport yourself into another world (like where cows are on the side of the road or something??) and enjoy!

Awesome food at a great price. Hands down one of my favorite burger joints in town. They use quality meat and buns. Also the toppings they use are good quality. Overall a solid burger.

Excellent food. Recommend the Copper Slopper which has good green chile (see pic) and the chicken fried steak was homemade and yummy. Went with family and kids after a visit to Swedish Hospital across the street. It was Friday after happy hour and you have to go through bar to get to seating in the back and unfortunately there was foul language that was not the establishments fault. Layout is long and narrow. Only 3 stars as it needs a deep cleaning and where I sat was next to supply of rags and other stuff right in the dining area in the corner.

I love this place! The atmosphere is awesome, the service is friendly and the food is delicious. I recommend the fajita omelette for breakfast, it's pretty hard to beat. They also have an awesome green chili at the Copper pot which isn't one of it's claims to fame but it's definitely worth checking out.

If you are pretentious, do not come here. It's hilarious the things I've read about how stuck up people don't like the atmosphere. It's a small, neighborhood type spot and if you expect that you will not be disappointed. Fanciest dining room in town? Certainly not. Comfortable for a quiet dinner? Definitely. The steak fries are awesome, and even better if you get the cheese version smothered in green chili. The dinner portions are huge, fair warning, so be prepared to take some home.

Good little neighborhood restaurant. Lots of pastas and home cooked types of food here. Just feels really homey like I'm being hugged. I really like this place especially when I start to miss home (Hawaii). I don't know why, but it's a really comforting place. Oh, and they also serve beer and wine, so yeah, that helps too. ;)

We absolutely love the Copper Pot. This is our go-to/ comfort zone/ favorite restaurant by our house. Even if we didn't live near by, we would drive out of the way to get there. We discovered this location after eating at the other location a few times and even though they have the same menu, we tend to enjoy this location a bit more. The food is amazing (at least every dish we have ever tried). Donny's favorite sandwich and the copper slopper are our absolute favorite menu items and the Mac and cheese is the very best in town. The desserts are delicious and never disappoint. I read a different post from someone who didn't like he atmosphere of the bar but that is one of our favorite parts of this location. It is laid back, relaxed and welcoming. Yes, it is half bar with the restaurant in the back but that just adds to the charm. The staff has always been great, fun and professional and they have always treated us great. If you haven't had lunch or dinner here yet then you need to check them out!!

If you want good home-cooking, the Copper Pot is a really nice place to find it. I wanted comfort food, and my dear husband found this spot for us. The restaurant is small and cozy, and the service is friendly. I do like that most dishes have a "blue plate" option that consist of a smaller portion size. I ordered the blue plate of chicken-fried-chicken, and it was still a hearty portion. Now, I partially blame myself here, because chicken-fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans are a dish that I have perfected in my own kitchen, and this dish just didn't quite measure up. I should have ordered something that I don't normally knock out of the park in my own kitchen! It was tasty, though. My husband had mac 'n cheese with chicken, and he liked it, but wasn't blown away. This is really more 3 1/2 stars, but just not quite 4. If you are longing for a home-cooked dinner, though, seriously, go here, because you will be comforted with a really nice meal. The price points are very reasonable.

In this small space, that would be much better served as a breakfast diner, or small convenience store, is a place called The Copper Pot. Within The Copper Pot, you can find infants, toddlers, small children, and pre-teens. They are mixed-in with dogs and grandparents. What you can't find there, is a beer worthy of being converted to urine. Really, just a horrible place. The beer is really, really, bad; unless you are accustomed to drinking beer that costs $3 a case. I wouldn't go back to this little corner of dementia if they offered me unlimited drinks. Unless they are willing to go get those unlimited beers from an actual brewery. Even then, probably not. This was my third visit. It was never good, but has gotten much worse.

Pretty good little place for American comfort foods. Chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak are the recommended items (by the staff). Not bad :)

It was bound to happen. We followed the recommendations from fellow Yelp-ers and this is the only time - these Yelp-ers have been way off base. Everyone has an opinion and I will always respect that. So for this Yelp-er, The Copper Pot earns even less than the one star available. Ambiance: Imagine if a huge bar swallows up a very long, very narrow restaurant leaving only a small pathway around it with tiny 2 top tables slammed up on the other side of the wall. Then when you walk in with 3 people in your party - you are directed to "the back room". Then imagine that office scene from the movie "Being John Malkovich" where the ceilings are 4'. Add short basement style windows on one wall and you realize they have managed to made a ground floor room appear to be in the basement. The room is narrow and long with tiny tables on either side. The few 4 top tables available share one long bolstered bench seat. The one 4 top available for us was at the far end of the room inches away from a huge creepy space heater. One of the photos available on Yelp shows the back room and labels it as 'cozy'. It is not. Food: Two of the three dishes we ordered were so-so. The third dish was the chicken cob salad and the grilled chicken tasted like it was grilled on a gas burner. Not in a pan on a gas burner - but actually on a gas burner. So I ate the egg, avocado and tomato and left the wilted lettuce in the bowl with the chicken. Much is written about the 'comfort food' menu. We found no comfort here. Service: Not much to report here. We were served, but with no check-back to see if we were alive except when the check was presented.

I get food here to go at least once a month. I recommend the rancher burger, mac n cheese, salads, and pastas. The rum cake is exquisite. Consistent and comforting. The staff is always really nice. Parking is impossible in the middle of a weekday . Good luck finding a parking space during lunch hour.

The food is amazing I absolutely will go back!!! The only thing that bummed me out was there were SO many choices on the menu it was hard to decide what to eat, I gladly welcome that though!! Great little restaurant will definitely be returning.

I could not be more positive on this little hidden gem. Fantastic quality food at extremely reasonable prices in a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. So far we have tried the Pulled Pork Sandwich (sweet and tender), the Crispy Chicken Buffalo Wrap (spicy, plump filled with lettuce, blue cheese chunks, chicken and hot wings sauce and finally, the big surprise; Hush Puppies! No, these are not your traditional southern style corn meal hush puppies. Think, instead of spicy, twice baked, whipped potatoes with chopped jalapeños formed into a 2 inch diameter ball and covered in a deep fried crust just like a traditional hush puppy. This delicious appetizer could be shared as an entire meal along with a refreshing drink. I can't wait to go back to this place.

We checked this place out based on the yelp reviews. This looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but is quite cozy and has very comfortable booths. The staff was very friendly and seemed to care about customer service and genuinely seemed pleased that you chose to done with them over one of the other restaurants in Englewood or the surrounding area. The foods was excellent. I had steak while my wife had chicken fried chicken. Both were tasty. Whatever you decide to get make sure you get a side of macaroni and cheese with it.. This was among the best I have ever tasted, in fact they sell macaroni and cheese plates, this might be the way to go. The menu was also quite varied, seems there is something for everyone here. I can't wait to go back and try a few other things on the menu Only real complaint is there burgers seem to have the fajita effect (not ordering fajitas and then wishing you had cause someone at the next table ordered them) though that is not a bad problem to have. These burgers looked amazing!!

Visited a friends open house recently and they had it catered by the copper pot. Good stuff and would recommend stopping by as I'm sure it's even better if you eat there! Great spinach artichoke dip that was the hit of the night!! Looking forward to a personal visit to one of the locations in the next week or so.

I work right across the street and came here twice in the past two days. It's pretty good. Decent amount of options on the menu, and if you only have an hour for lunch, you'll be in and out in 45 minutes. My only gripe about this place is probably a stupid one... They don't have an item on the menu called the "Chester Copper Pot". You know, like the dude from The Goonies? Anyways, check this place out.

Good Macaroni & Cheese Cheap, horrible Fish & Chips: square fish, really? GROSS tartar sauce out of a jar, it's despicably sweet. I don't know who divided the stations, but it appeared we were the only table for our server in the back room. We arrived and the other server took orders for two tables seated after us. This place is a mixed bag, I think their location across from the hospital is their main salvation: there's a Thai Restaurant and nothing else nearby. Englewood suffers a dearth of good restaurants, so I guess this is a 5-Star alternative to Denny's or Country Buffet, but in the real dining world it's not a contender. Maybe I'll return... if I land in the hospital. Probably not, the hospital has a cafeteria and I'm sure the food is comparable.

Picked up a to-go order on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Not what I expected after having a good meal there previously. After receiving a personal message from the owner with the assurance that I could count on great experiences in the future, I will continue to indulge in this wonderful little gem of a restaurant.

I waver between 4 and 5 stars on The Copper Pot, but it's only real downfall is the dining area itself, which is long, skinny, can be chilly at times and awkward when you are seated so close to other tables you could eat of their plates. That said, with food this good awkward becomes cosy and charming. The Copper Pot is our go to place for Comfort Food, it's what they do and they do it well. My Stone Cold Lead Pipe Locks: Chicken Fried Chicken - Huge portion and it's probably the best I've had anywhere. Baked Mac N Cheese - Add Bacon, duh! Copper Chopper - Bone in Pork Chop with Honey Bourbon Glaze ONION RINGS - Pretty sure these are the best Onion rings ever, thin batter, crispy and perfectly seasons (don't skip these) The Bacon Green Beans are also good if you want to go the "Healthy" route and the Burgers are pretty good. I know I complained about the dining area, but if you're not too picky it comes off with a neighborhood vibe, so just roll with it and save room for cupcakes!

Great food. We ordered the fish and the chicken fried steak. Fish need more seasoning but the tartar sauce was fantastic. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer and they were fantastic. Best homemade rings we have had. The company and conversation around us were extremely crude and the wait staff seemed very uncomfortable. I don't think they had a manager on duty because it seemed like they didn't have the resources to deal with the situation. Or maybe this person is a regular. The staff is very friendly and price was great.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Copper Pot recently when I was stranded by a bus driver who just blew on by the bus stop where I was at. I was livid...but as it turned out, it must have been my destiny that day because it brought me to this place. The wait staff here is very happy and will gladly engage you in conversation...but that's not really what you come to restaurants for. There is a cute happy hr menu, good M-F 4-7pm, Sat/Sun 2-5pm with many cool tasty dishes $6 and under....mini versions of their full sandwiches, and many awesome looking apps. There are also beer specials on Bud Light, Drop Top Amber Ale, and $1 off anything stronger. I went here intending on getting the Teriyaki Chicken Wrap (seasoned, grilled or crispy chicken with carrots, cabbage, scallions, diced red peppers, toasted sesame seeds, crumbled feta cheese and drizzled with oriental sesame dressing) - just something to get me home; but after I sat down inside and saw the happy hour menu, I decided upon the mini Copper Slopper. (Many of their dishes start with the word "Copper", as an aside..): It's a burger served open faced over steak fries (mine were skinny fries), smothered in green chili and cheese & baked, and includes a side of sour cream. I had one bite of this and exclaimed loudly (yeah, like *that* way, lol) how amazing it was. All the ladies grinned; either the servers or 1-2 other customers, because they confessed they'd had similar reactions digging into it too. "I'll have what she's having", indeed... Their website story begins with "For centuries, people from around the world have used copper pots to prepare food for family and friends. Recipes, traditions, and even the cookware itself were passed down from generation to generation.", and seems designed to market their penchant for solid American "comfort food". Given the service, the atmosphere, and the amazing food, I'd say Copper Pot's nailed down comfort 100%. Business is going to bring me to Swedish Hospital about once a month, and Copper Pot's going to be my "reward" for travelling to this area. :) (My waistline is very fortunate this place isn't just down the street from me...)

We ate here last April and it was just what I needed! I had just had surgery, it was late afternoon and I hadn't eaten since the night before. I was seriously craving some comfort food. My husband found a deal online and saw that they had mac and cheese so that's where we headed. I ordered the Cobb Salad and Copper Baked Mac and Cheese with bacon added ('cos I needed more than what was already on the salad!) and they were both great. The salad had good portions of grilled chicken breast, avocado, blue cheese and yes, BACON. The mac and cheese came in a cast iron pan and was perfectly gooey. Hit the spot!

My husband and I had read the reviews on Yelp and thought this would be a nice place to have dinner, it just didn't work out that way. The food was mediocre at best, but really bland and not great overall. The chicken on the buffalo Alfredo that my husband got was very good, the Alfredo itself was decent but not great. We got the mac n cheese and it was decent. We sat down and the room was incredibly cold, the tables are all by windows that are not insulated at all. I took a look at the menu and settled on the chicken fried chicken. I asked the waitress if there was sausage in the gravy, she was unsure so she went to ask and I could hear the whole conversation in the kitchen. Waitress- What is the base of the gravy? Cook- Beef. She comes back out and let's me know, I ask if she is sure because white gravy isn't usually made from beef stock, but she assures me that they "pour the beef base into both gravies every day," so I say ok and go for it. When my meal comes out I see little chunks of sausage, so I say to her that I think there is sausage and she says "NO! That is just seasoning" (strange, I've never seen a seasoning that looks like that) my husband tastes it and confirms that it is sausage. She goes into the kitchen and asks loudly, "Is there sausage in the white gravy?" and the cook says "Yes" she stays in there for a minute or two and comes back out and informs me that there was a misunderstanding and there is hamburger in the gravy but it must be a mistake because she eats that gravy every day and there is never meat in it. I told her that I was fine just eating fries, because ordering something else would just end with me watching my husband eat dinner while I wait for my food, and then him watching me eat dinner and that is not much of a date. It was weird because it seemed so much like she was lying, I mean, we had heard the chef say yes, it was sausage! THEN the manager comes over and tells us how there is never meat in the gravy and that someone must have made a mistake or something. Ok, well, you kind of need to know what is in your food on a daily basis for allergy reasons. I feel like he was covering for her mistake, but who knows. I'd pass on this one.

This place is down right deeeelicious! We've been a few times. The wait staff is awesome. We have a 19 month old and they are so nice and make sure he is happy. The food....the food is why we come back. Everything we've tried is great. The Mac and cheese, meatloaf, chicken Alfredo, chicken pot pie, salmon. It's all good. It's a very down to earth place. Nothing trendy. It's all about the good eats. And they have blue plate specials on a lot of menu items so you can get smaller portions. The prices are very reasonable.

Our first time there using a Groupon and we were so happy we went there! The location is decent - the building is small and long but plenty of parking (they also have their own parking lot to the side of the building). The food is definitely comfort food and if you're watching your calories, this isn't the place to be seen. We all had something different and we all liked our food which is unusual for our family! I had the Copper Chops and there were two pork chops! I could not finish it along with the 2 sides they give you. My husband had fish & chips and he ate all his food and there was a lot of it, too. FIL had meat load and mashed potatoes and he cleaned his plate too. The two kids had chicken tenders and to be honest, for a kids meal, it was way too much food for them... oh well, leftovers! For the money, it was a lot of food and we all left feeling satiated. The service was excellent as well. We had a waiter and someone who might've been in training because he was her "helper". Our glasses were always refilled quickly and even though we sat in the bar area in front of the restaurant (and were the only ones who chose to do so), we never felt like they forgot us. The only negative was that for some reason, there was a lot of noise coming from the kitchen. We could hear lots of dishes/pots crashing and it was jarring to hear it. Maybe someone with really slippery hands shouldn't be handling those dishes! It's a winner in our books and not too far from home so I'm sure we'll be visiting again soon!

I was looking for a dinner spot in the area and chose this one based on Kelly T.'s glowing review of the appetizers, in particular the queso. If you know me, you know that I'm addicted to queso and am willing to try just about any place that has it. The Copper Pot did not disappoint. My date and I started with the 3-appetizer plate. The artichoke dip was so creamy and delicious. And, the queso, while not the best I've ever had, was unique and flavorful - we got 2 of those and they both disappeared. Then we split the Copper Slopper burger. OMG it was good! It's an open faced burger served on top of steak fries and smothered in green chili and cheese. Definitely not the healthiest dinner option, but it was perfect comfort food after the stress of a job interview. And, drinks were reasonable, especially on happy hour which goes till 7. I opted for wine and it was $1 off. Service was friendly and casual, perfect for the vibe of the restaurant. And, to top everything off, there was an instant Yelp Deal - spend $15 to get $30 worth of food. While it would not be good for my waistline to eat at Copper Pot regularly, I'd definitely seek it out again when I'm in the mood for yummy comfort food.

Pretty good food. I liked the ambience too. Homey, quiet feel. The only thing I didn't care for was the service. It was very, very slow. Definitely the kind of place you'll want to devote a good couple hours to. The waiter was very nice though, just seemed in attentive at times. But overall, pretty decent.

We decided to come here for Friday Night dinner. It's been on my list for a while to come visit. First Impressions were not all that great I have to admit. No one at the front to greet us, bartender did not acknowledge us. Do we seat our selves or wait, I don't know, there's no sign and no one was greeted us to tell us how it works. Next thing, there are 5 or so empty tables that have not been cleaned so even if I wanted to seat myself I couldn't because all the free tables are dirty. We finally walked to the back where a very busy waitress told us she would bus a table for us. Five minutes later we were able to sit. Drinks came rather quickly once we were seated. The menu has a nice variety of salads, appetizers, burgers (I get the sense they serve a lot of these), pasta, meat, and seafood. We decided on the Copper Chopper (Pork Chop) which came with two sides, I choose Mac and Cheese and Broccoli. Sam choose the Sun-dried tomato penne pasta with the addition of shrimp. Mine also came with a side salad. Pretty good salad, not amazing but we are talking about a salad here, how much can I critique a salad? Food was definitely 4 star food. The Sun-dried Tomato pasta was amazing. Can I bottle the sauce to go? Yummy. My Pork Chop was grilled with wonderful grill marks. Nice helping of Mac and Cheese and a big crown of Broccoli. We both really enjoyed our mean a lot. We also had a small homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter pie for dessert which totally hit the spot. We saw the same confusion hit to gentlemen trying to eat dinner. No tables were clean and they had to wait for a table to be cleaned. Then they waited for 10 minutes with no drinks and no acknowledgment from the waiters and decided to walk out. We really enjoy the food here, but the front of house is a bit of a mess. I highly recommend The Copper Pot hire a buss person to keep tables clean and even a hostess or hire a person to do both. You need someone up front to keep tables clean and to greet customers. You would get more business and I would be more inclined to come back. Between front of house and food I average this out to be a 3 star experience.

Great menu selections and service. Highly recommend if you and your party cannot decide on a restaurant. They have something for everyone. Total Hidden Gem!!! Yes, the outside looks a little suspicious, but once inside, it is sooo cute and cozy! I feel like my party and I got a ton! Queso - Awesome! Mushrooms - YUMMMY Copper Chopper - Pork Chop - MAD GOOD Mac and Cheese - Fight Worthy Broccoli - Even broccoli was flavorful! Afterwards, I got the last inside out chocolate peanut butter cup cake to go. This was the best cupcake ever! Not too sweet and filled with sweet peanut buttery icing. I ate it in 10 seconds. I'm glad I got it to go, I would have totally embarrassed myself. I really enjoyed this little spot. When near Denver - Definitely check it out!

Updated 2-18-2013: I went with other family members for lunch today. We sat in the back dining area, and it's very nice back there. There is a larger heater, and the room is very toasty, really nice on a windy or cold day in Denver. I had the chicken wrap. It was good, but not outstanding. I think that I'll stick with the true "comfort" food, such as the : chicken pot pie, salmon, burrito, mac and cheese, a burger, steak, pasta, etc. These are truly their "comfort" food, and well worth the trip to The Copper Pot. Oh, we'll be purchasing a coupon through Amazon too. So, see you there! --------------------------------------------------Â--------------------------------------------------Â-------- "Comfort" food. Comfort is described as: agreeable, adequate, content, delightful, enjoyable, pleasant, relaxed, satisfactory. All of these words describe The Copper Pot. What a delight! It's a neighbor restaurant, one we just happened to find, thanks to Yelp! It has been one of our "to trys" for quite a while. I'm very glad we went. Atmosphere/Interior - long and narrow, but nicely decorated. The interior is done in earth tones. It's very relaxing and inviting. The restaurant is divided into two sections, the front section, which has approximately 7 tables, and a bar with about 8-9 seats. The bar has those comfortable "bar stools," that really are nice to sit on. The back section, which I took a quick look, as individual tables, as well as a long 'couch' type seating along one of the walls, with individual tables next to it. These could easily be pulled together (the tables), to accommodate a large group. Food - comfort food. I had the meat loaf, which was served with green beans with bacon and onions, as well as mashed potatoes and gravy. I had the "blue plate" special, served on a blue plate too! This meant my "blue plate" was the smaller portion size. Must admit, the meatloaf was good, but nothing to write home about. My husband had the chicken pot pie. WOW! I really wished I had ordered the chicken pot pie! The subtle taste of thyme, the chunks of chicken and vegetables, with the crust on top, the wonderful gravy - WOW!!! When we go back, and we will, I'll order the chicken pot pie. It is served in it's own crock, and just heaven!!! According to other reviews, the mac and cheese is also "to die for!" I can't wait! Dessert - my husband had the chocolate buttermilk cake. He said it was moist, fluffy, and not too much chocolate. He enjoyed it. I had the snicker doodle cupcake. If you don't know me, I L-O-V-E cake!! I could eat it 24/7! This cupcake was fluffy, moist, and just the right amount of seasonings! It really was like I was eating a snicker doodle cookie! YUMMY!!! I'll take two dozen to go, please! Oh, you want some too - make that two dozen and one! Yummy! Service - excellent, not in your face, just the right amount of talk and good recommendations. Parking - not sure if there is a lot. We parked around the corner on the street. As we were no longer in downtown Denver (where we live), we didn't have to pay for parking! There is plenty of parking around the area. Location - The Copper Pot is located directly across the street (south) from Swedish Hospital. What a wonderful location, especially for anyone who is visiting someone at the hospital, and just needs that "comfort food." This is a must stop for anyone in the area. I'm glad we took the drive south to go there. The 20 - 25 minute drive was worth it. I'll leave you with two of the quotes, from inside the restaurant, which fit the place to a "T" : "Eat Well, and Laugh Often." "Come in, Laugh Much, Visit Often." See you there!

After reading several other reviews about The Copper Pot I decided I needed to get in there and try it. I was surprised to see there was a second location, but chose to try the original first. We stopped in on a Friday evening. Parking near the hospital can always be a challenge, but we figured it was worth the try. Walked in to a lively bar area with what appeared to be some regulars. Bartender was extremely friendly and helpful. I asked for suggested favorites on the menu and was given a something from each section to try. Decided on the chicken fried chicken which sounded great. Went with the suggested home-made green chili on the side as well. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and lightly breaded to delicious. The white gravy was fine in my opinion, but my southerner companion wanted it to be thicker and creamier. The side of southern style green beans was to his liking, and the green chili side was fantastic on top of the chicken as we had been told it would be. The side of mac and cheese was so good we had no room for dessert! On my second visit the steak and potatoes were perfect.

The first thing I will say is that your food is delicious. With that being said, I will never eat at your restaurant again. I have dined at both of your locations at least 10 times. The last time I went in for dinner around 7:00/7:30 during the week and was basically told that I would have to wait 15/20 minutes to eat. The bar was full and I came in alone and there were 3 dirty tables right in front of me that apparently weren't able to be cleaned in under 15 minutes. Oh, did I mention I was offered a seat at the bar where a stack of server trays were being stored? Nice customer service. Good luck to you. You need it. P.S. I have been in the restaurant industry for over 17 years and have been everything from a toilet cleaner to a manager.

Only two stars this time based on the fact that they treated serving my child cold, unseasoned pasta like no big deal. This is only the second time we have come within an hour of closing...and the second bad experience.

Good Mac and cheese, and chicken fries steak. It's very southern. Not bad, and fairly good! I will be back and put this restaurant in my rotation.

We went back and everything was very good. The food was scrumptious. The service was friendly and everyone was helpful. We were very impressed to see that someone had cleaned up around the outside. It looks very nice and spiffy. They are becoming a favorite place for us!

Great place and very friendly and accommodating service. Yes, I was the b*tch that kept changing her order. The mac and cheese is comfort in a skillet - yuuummmmmyyy! I loved it with some of their green chile mixed in! I know I will be craving this dish when winter decides to visit.

Intimate atmosphere in the back of the restaurant. Good food, decent prices for the quality and quantity of everything you get.

GO HERE! EAT THE FOOD HERE! EXPERIENCE FOOD HEAVEN! My BFF had a groupon to this place, so we ventured here one Friday night. Upon entering, I was greeted to a long bar area and then ushered into the dining area in the back. I'll be honest, even though this place was so highly rated on Yelp, I was a little skeptical. The decor was, well, copper pots on the wall and it just looked like a weird hole in the wall that had been surviving on the business from Swedish Hospital. BOY WAS I WRONG! We ordered the three app plate, which let us pick three appetizers and get slightly smaller helping of each one (I frequently eat apps for dinner) and we also ordered a happy hour portion of the cheese fries. First, if you think you have tasted spinach artichoke dip before, then think again, because this place had the creamiest, richest, most delicious artichoke dip I've ever had. I love artichoke dip and I think that this dip has ruined me for any other dips. Next, the queso. My god. The queso. This was not some soupy nacho sauce with salsa thrown in. It was thick and rich and heaped upon my tortilla chips and, again, I think all queso from here on out will feel hollow in comparison to the gloriousness of this queso. On to the Mushrooms Romano. I am not necessarily a fungus lover, so mushrooms have to be done right in order for me to enjoy a dish. And I enjoyed the hell out of this dish. The spices, the seasoning, the sauce. Everything was right. And the cheese fries. I mean. Do I really need to keep selling you on this place? Why haven't you started making lunch or dinner plans to go here? Plus, we went during happy hour and, with 3 beers total and all of that food, our bill was just over $20. Come on. Seriously, I will go to this place with almost anyone who asks me to be their guest.

We love this place! The food is like home cooking, and great prices. It is cozy, kid friendly, and great for adults too, with a bar and TV's. The staff has always been very friendly.

I get here now and then, and it's always good; but my son wanted food to take home for him so I asked if they have a Mexican Hamburger (his fav). Not on the menu, but they thought they could figure it out. Damien (manager) and the chef asked me what I thought should go in it and they made it--asked if they could put white beans in it, and I said...um..ok. My son said it's one of the best Mexican Hamburgers he's ever had. He was going to write it up but I thought I would.

I came to the copper pot on Sunday to have a nice meal and an iced tea. This is the first time I've strolled across this place and I was pleasantly surprised to see a beautiful young lady working here named Paige. I got the copper slopper and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Paige was so nice and so attentive I will definitely be back to see her and eat some good food. Good quick food in denver.

We ordered take out from here last week after realizing that the Copper Pot location on Broadway closes early on Sundays. The food was good but we think the take-out is definitely better from the Broadway location. The portion sizes are better and the quality of the food even seemed better. It was not terrible we love the Copper Pot but generally enjoy the Broadway location better.

A friend suggested The Copper Pot for dinner one night and had previously told me what a great neighborhood spot it was and that I needed to check it out. I love small privately/locally owned places, so it's right up my alley! The interior is nice, the wait staff pleasant and the menu choices plentiful. I drink a lot of water with dinner and was pleased that my glass never went dry. :) We started our foodfest with the delicious fries covered in green chili. Chili wasn't bland, but also wasn't over-hot...it was just right. I really liked that there is a choice to have a smaller serving for a few of the dinner plate item. I ordered the smaller version and still took leftovers home. I initially wanted to order the Chicken Fried Steak, but was told they were out and it was suggested that I try the Chicken Fried Chicken. The chicken was moist, the breading just right, the mashed potatoes great.....then everything came crashing down in the midst of dismal *canned* green beans. Nope, you didn't misread that. All that yumminess running for cover from the horror of a canned vegetable. Others in our party orders the Chicken Pot Pie and Fish & Chips and no one was disappointed in their choices. For dessert we snarfed down some nice carrot cake. Would I go back? Hell, yeah. But next time, I'll ask first before ordering anything with a vegetable side dish.

This place was great! The Mac & Cheese was fantastic! We also ordered the Alfredo pasta which was pretty good, but I've had better. Cute restaurant with a cool vibe... From what I ear, amazing comfort food! I'll be back here next time we hit up Denver for sure!

I find the Copper Pot to be rather unremarkable. So much so that it was difficult to decide how to rate it. Ideally, I would have put it at 2 1/2 stars, but since Yelp does not believe in half stars, I generously gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and gave it 3. The pros: (1) Comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant isn't large, but the ambiance is casual and cozy. (2) Polite, though inexperienced, wait staff. The servers are young, and can't tell you about their beer or alcohol selection, but everyone was very sweet. They were certainly trying to make the experience an enjoyable one. The cons: (1) Somewhat bland food. The burgers and sandwiches are simply "fine." There just isn't anything to set them apart from the next establishment. They certainly don't boast any complex flavors or unexpected pairings. Don't get me wrong: it's not bad food. It's just not that great, either. (2) Inexperienced and/or forgetful chefs. I'm not sure whether inexperience or forgetfulness (or something else) was to blame, but I found two bay leaves in my soup. Clearly, that's not ideal. All in all, it's not a terrible place to stop at if you are in the area and hungry, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get there.

One of my favorites, for sure! Great little neighborhood restaurant/bar. The owners are super friendly and really appreciate your business (which goes a long way with me). Their smothered fajita burrito is where it's at (great green chili!), and they've got some really great burgers, too (the Wakefield burger is worth checking out). Oh, and they've always got a nice selection of homemade desserts -- I keep meaning to go in sometime to just get desert, so I can enjoy some cake when I'm not already stuffed from dinner.

We were disappointed from the moment we entered. Nobody so much as greeted us. After standing by the door for about 30 minutes, we were finally noticed. It took another 15 minutes after that to be seated. The food was mediocre. The fish in the fish and chips here was battered with something like catfish batter. Catfish batter... Won't be going back.

Hidden gem. Good food, good prices and the homemade desserts will keep you coming back for more.

I have to admit I only get take-out because I work close and can pick up lunch easily so I don't have much to say about the place as a whole, but seriously, the Greek Salad with Crispy Chicken is to die for and I literally crave it regularly. It's filling and satisfying. The place is super cute inside and I'm always greeted with a smile. One of my favorite lunch spots.

Great food. I ordered take out and they forgot to get me my salad. The next day the owner called me to personally apologize. Any restaurant owner that take the time for that deserves more of my business.

Food = awesome atmosphere = lame I almost walked away when I saw the outside of the building. My wife talked me into actually going in. The inside is definitely nice, but small, and like I said the outside is not pretty. The food was phenomenal and is the only reason this place gets 4 stars from me. We will definitely be going back, and I would still recommend it to friends and family. I just hope they upgrade to a better building .

Consistently good food here. Friendly staff in a cozy, family atmosphere. I recommend the daily soup selection, as it has never disappointed. Also, they have a "blue plate special" which is a smaller lunch-size portion of their popular dishes for around $7. Only down-side is the parking kinda sucks with Swedish Hospital across the street. -Update 5/5/2011- Seeing as my only negative comment was about the parking and a brand new parking lot just opened next door... I thought I should update my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I like to think I had something to do with this.....

Horrible ! Service and food . I wish I could say at least one good thing . I guess they base their business on convince of location next to hospital . Very slow service , impossible to get anything , water , place an order , it wasn't even durning lunch rush . Fries arrived cold and full of grease . Waitress forgot about my soup . Both fish and chicken had way to much breaking on it . Full of bread crumbs , very little of chicken or fish . I guess we were paying for bread crumbs. Stay away !!!!

I had my heart set on what I wanted to order and my boyfriend HAD to ask the waiter's suggestions and we ended up getting the fish and chips (probably as bad as what you can get in London!) and Mac & Cheese (not bad, but not hugely impressive either). I had my heart set on the Chicken Pot Pie, too bad it turned out a little disappointing. The Pasta Primavera was OK but I'd forgotten my dad prefers white sauce to red sauce.... The one thing that's really good? Their bread, either the dinner roll served with the pasta or the buns in a burger. Guess what? That's the only thing they don't make in house! The bread is from some bakery whose name they wouldn't disclose (yeah, I inquired where it is thinking I'll go buy some and take home!), we were told the bakery only does business with restaurants. Oh well...

Yelp pulls through again. We tried The Copper Pot on Saturday night and what a great surprise it was. When we pulled up out front, I though maybe the restaurant was closed because there was no one visible through the front window - I started having second thoughts, but I decided to get out of my car anyway. It turns out that the bar area is up front and there's a small dining room in the back. They were seating customers in the back because it was a bit hot up front due to the weather. To start, we tried the Sausage, Peppers, and Onions skillet. It was delicious and not too heavy to weigh down the rest of the meal. As I looked over the menu I spotted the TCP classics section. I had a mini-stroke as the deep fried goodness jumped off the menu into my arteries. WOW! that section looks good, but I had to pass. I had a flat iron steak cooked to perfection, with broccoli and potatoes - both excellent as well. Dessert was great and the service and prices are good as well.

I found this place about 6 months ago, and I wish I had found them sooner. I normally get food for carry out, but the staff is always friendly and the food is excellent. Prices are also very reasonable. If you're looking for a great 'home cooked' style meal in Englewood, there's no better place then here.

I LOVE this little place. The service is friendly and accomodating without being pretentious or overbearing. And the food is delicious. I mean, lick your bowl delicious, delicious. This is comfort food - nothing super fancy. I had a really good burger on one visit and it was cooked nicely with a robust blue cheese; on my second visit I chowed down a some of the best clam chowder I've had in a long time. Since this place is little - and right across the street from Swedish - I recommend that you try it out for lunch or dinner, but get there before the true lunch hour to avoid the lunch rush. My next trip is for Happy Hour (and you all know how I love happy hour!). I'll report back.

The owner of The Copper Pot messaged me personally on here and proved that they do care. I hope that their service continues to improve and get as good as their food!

I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone interested. My husband and I recently moved into the area and frequently saw this place when walking our pups around the neighborhood. I saw that lots of people on Yelp had good things to say about the place, and we decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. I have always been kind of concerned about the space in the restaurant, but to be honest, it's a little larger than it seems. Though I would probably feel on top of people if the place were to get more packed. The atmosphere is really laid back and friendly. It is clear that it is a neighborhood bar and restaurant. The staff are attentive and very nice, without being too pushy. I really enjoyed the decor in the place as well. The food is awesome. I was in the mood for comfort food and there are a lot of great classic selections to choose from. I had the Mac and Cheese and my husband had the Fish and Chips. Both were amazing and I am excited to try out other options like the burgers, meatloaf and chicken pot pie. The prices are also incredibly reasonable for the size and the quality of the food. I cannot speak to the bar aspect of the place, but from what we saw on the menu, their Happy Hour looks great. We will for sure come back to give the Happy Hour a try soon. Overall, the place is a great restaurant to go to if you are in the area. While I wouldn't say it has become my favorite place overnight, I know that we will become frequent patrons. The food is good and the atmosphere is inviting. The prices are good too, which helps to keep us coming back.

We had been there once before but sat at the bar during happy hour. It was pleasant but when we came back with some friends it was quite the opposite. We waited to be seated and they asked how many, we said four people. They stood there and looked at each other like we were speaking another language. After the figured out where to seat us (which was in the most awkward corner and there were a number of open tables) we waited and waited and waited until the waitress got us water. Then waited and waited for her to take our drink order. Finally, got our drinks and later our food. The food was great but the service was slow and everyone seemed very confused. Which was the opposite when we were at the bar. Will we go there again, yes someday down the line, mostly because we live around the corner but we will just go for happy hour at the bar.

We used a groupon for The Copper Pot and i have to say, I was completely impressed! It isn't at all what I expected from the outside - it's clean, cute and welcoming. From the outside you might be fooled into thinking it's a little hole in the wall. It's not! We went on the weekend when it was pretty much happy hour all day! The food was fantastic. I had a burger, the hubby had the meatloaf sandwich and we shared some artichoke dip. It was all fantstic. We'll be going back!

If i could give this place 0 stars i would, but i guess we'll settle for one. i have never had a worse dining experience in my entire life. the evening started off fine as we were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken as we waited for the last person in our party to arrive. our last person arrived and the waiter came back within a few minutes to take her drink order. this is when our experience took a turn for the worse. it took about 20 minutes for her to get a beer and as a "sorry", the waiter brought us an extra beer and claimed it was on him. we put in our orders and even just ordering wasn't a good experience. one person ordered a flat iron steak and the other ordered a strip steak. when the strip steak order went in, i heard him confirm a flat iron steak and i said no she ordered a strip steak and he repeated right, a strip steak. all of us got a salad or some kind of starter with our orders. 40 minutes later we start getting our salads one at a time and most of them are wrong. instead of being apologetic, our server continues to make excuses and just brings them out later- either with or after our entrees. now onto the entrees. the mac and cheese was delightful (2 people got that) so no complaints there. we got two flat iron steaks instead of one flat iron and one strip which was incredibly frustrating since i even confirmed that one was a strip steak while we ordered. and when our server stated we had 2 flat irons we corrected him again and he said "oh. do you want to me to go change it? its the same cut of meat." clearly, it is not the same cut of meat. we were hungry so we said ok, just keep the steak, whatever. so hes like ok ill be right back with the last entree. 10 minutes later he's like ok you have everything, right? um, no one person does not have their food. 10 more minutes pass and he comes back with the last entree. the first few bites of my steak were good (medium, as i had ordered) but then i continue to cut into my steak and its is raw. not even rare, but raw. i finally find the server and he says ok, we will fire it up for you again. he comes back with my steak and i cut into it and its still rare. and so i say to him i asked for a medium steak and he said that is medium and i was wrong. and i said no there should be no red in the middle of a medium steak. and he was like oh...ive been trying to tell the cooks to get it right. it was weird how quickly he was like no youre wrong, oh wait, the cooks can't get it right. so he was like well what do you want me to do about it? so i just said it's ridiculous and he was like let me talk to my manager. he offers me a free drink or a dessert and i politely decline because i just want to get out of there. so our check comes and he has charged us for all this extra stuff including the beer that was "on him." i ask him about it and he seems very confused and then gets it taken off the bill reluctantly. the experience was so terrible because of the terrible service and the restaurant wasn't even crowded. knowing we were having issues, the manager also should have come by to say something. really the worst part was that they were so unapologetic about every mistake that kept happening. there were either excuses or we were told we were wrong. i definitely will NOT recommend this place to anyone. in fact, i will specifically tell people to be sure NOT to come here if they ask for dinner recommendations.

Out of town visitor, we went there for a group dinner. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the food is decent. Nothing earth shatteringly good, but a good overall package if you're looking for a place that has chill ambiance and tasty food.

This is our favorite neighborhood eatery and i think the best burger in denver!! (the wakefield!) staff is super friendly and their food is CONSISTENTLY awesome! it is our "go-to" place any night of the week.

I'm currently on spring break and because I have work all this week, I'm stuck in town. So to make things up, I have made a goal to try as many new places as possible this week. The Copper Pot was Monday night's dinner. I walked in around 7 and was warmly greeted by the wait staff. It's a sit where ever you'd like sort of deal and so I sat in the back room. The menu was simple but had alot of variety. I ended up choosing a blue cheese burger. The burger was awesome, it was 100% angus, with grilled onions, a little steak sauce, bacon, and blue cheese. Everything blended really well. Overall, I was pleased with everything and left for another night at work.

I purchased a Groupon for these guys and it's just too close to our house not to try it out. We were excited to go and drove over on a Sunday for dinner, when I think they were supposed to be open since their website says happy hour Sat/Sun until 7pm, but they were closed! Bummed, but we went Monday night instead. We arrived early enough to take advantage of their great happy hour specials. Food wise, dinner was really good. Definitely get mac n cheese as your side if you can, it was some of the best I've had lately and comes out in it's own little skillet. Chicken fried steak was good, but with they would have let you choose sides. The only item we were disappointed in was the green beans that came with the chicken fried steak. They said 'seasoned' but they were soggy canned green beans. Otherwise, food was awesome. Wish we had room to try the chocolate cake; it sounded good. Would defiantly go back again, even without the Groupon discount.

Food is usually good. But after tonight we will never be back after we were treated by the "manager" working the bar on 4/25/14. I ordered fish and chips with a side of mac n cheese. It came out with fish and subed the chips for mac & cheese. But they charged us full price for the fish and chips and the mac and cheese. The "manager" came over and argued that even though they made the mistake we still would be charged extra. She made a scene - you could hear a pin drop in the whole restaurant as all the attention was on us. Usually as a Manager you want to defuse the situation and not be the aggressor. This "manager" was the aggressor and does not have polite table side manners. Very disappointed with the service. And I agree with Steve C. - the tarter sauce was disgusting. Also the carrot cake was frozen. I didn't say anything about those 2 items. It just blows my mind the way this "manager treated my 80 year old grandma and yelled at her in front of everyone. I voiced my concerned to the "manager" and she started to be quiet but after she came back after the adjustment she continued to argue that we were wrong. I work in food service and I know how nasty people can be. We were definitely not the nasty customers in this situation!

I moved here recently from Texas and have been looking for good places to eat around my apartment. This place had great reviews and was close by so we decided to try it out. It was not overrated at all! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the copper sampler that had really good portions for all three appetizers. The entrees were also great. We had the slopper (a delicious burger that lives up to its name) and the pulled pork sandwich. We'll definitely be back very very soon.

The Baked Mushroom Romano appetizer is AMAZING! This is a great place to meet a friend for happy hour, have a couple of small bites and a glass of wine, and get out of there for a good price.

I went here tonight for a low key girl's dinner with my sister. Neither of us had been here before, and weren't sure what to expect. Overall, the restaurant itself is decent. The food is mediocre and the service just ok. I probably wont recommend this place to anyone, or go back again. Their alcohol menu seemed pretty limited (mainly beer/wine - no mixed drinks), and while they have a wide variety of food, I wasn't very impressed.
(2)
Gabby G.
I liked the atmosphere here but it was cramped, especially since we sat in the back since the front was full. The service was terrible!! The waiter we got barely paid us any attention. The food was ok.

Great food and prices, menu covers all american food. Interesting atmosphere is my only complaint.

I really can't believe how high this place is rated. Maybe I've just been spoiled with great food, but I've been to this place twice now and was disappointed twice. My last experience included the onion bisque and salmon which both had a tremendous amount of salt. The only thing I can figure is that high blood pressure escapees from the hospital next door come here to get their fix. I also was drinking IPA which is a strong beer for fish I know, but all I could taste in my mouth after leaving was salt, even after swigging down the IPA.

Don't let the dumpy outside fool you, it is nice inside. Even better, the food. Had a medium rare burger, and it was server EXACTLY how I ordered it! I dare say the best so far in Denver! The staff was nice, but not overbearing, just the way I like them to be. My glass was never empty, the portions large for the price. Glad I found this place and can't wait to try other dishes!

We love the Copper Pot. Friendly people, great food, and reasonable prices. The food is consistently good. We have gone there many times and have only had one bad dish, (overcooked fish and chips). They offered to correct but wasn't a big deal since we have always had good experience in past. Will be back soon.
(5)
AJ J.
Excellent burgers & fries. They can and do cook a perfect medium rare burger ask for extra napkins as you will need them. Their salads are also very good and large.
(4)
Michael M.
I took a friend there because I loved it so much the first time. My happiness was not fulfilled this time around. My burger was overcooked when I asked for medium and it was burnt on one side as if someone had forgotten it on the grill and there wasnt even but a few peeps there. My friend agreed his burger was a little burnt on one side also but was ok with it anyways. I expected something more especially since the first burger I had there was perfect. I have no complaints about the service which was great and very attentive. .

This is a gem of a place. Looks like a dive bar, but is a cozy restaurant with a great menu. Some really creative items, along with your standard pub fare. Excellent prices too -- the happy hour apps (4-7 on weeknights) are rockin' and make a great meal!! The experience is completed by the absolutely charming staff and ownership. Very convenient to the hospital and surrounding area (we are clients at the nearby birth center). We'll be back. Multiple times.

Good Burger and Fries - I read some reviews that were not so favorable. I checked it out myself and i will tell you that the burgers were very tasty and the fries were very decient. I ate at the bar and it was a bit noisy, but what the heck. Who can pass up good food at decient prices.

The wife & I had lunch here yesterday and were blown away with the quality of food and friendliness from the Owner Sarah. I highly recommend the grilled buffalo chicken wrap as it was honestly one of the best I had. I got a side salad with it and the honey balsamic dressing was top-notch. The Copper Pot might prove to be a little gem in a hospital neighborhood. Good food for a good value.

Great home style cooking-all 6 of my friends loved it. The chicken fried steak was great-the "small" portion for $6.95 was very generous. We will definitely return!

Loved it! So yummy. I am so glad I bought the Living Social certificate on a whim. We finally went a week and a half ago for a late lunch--around 230pm. We were one of two tables eating lunch at that time. Love the atmosphere and love the food even more! Our service was good--she came around just enough, but also left us alone. Maybe it gets spotty when there are more people, but we had a great experience. I had the chicken fried steak blue plate--still a ton of food. I had enough for another meal. My husband had a burger--said it was great. We shared Mac and Cheese--so yummy. We will definately go back and pay regular price for the food. Looking forward to trying new things and maybe even a dessert.

This is an independent worthy of your support. It's smallish but we've always found space in the dining room in the back for our Thursday night outing. The housemade soups and deserts aren't glamorous but they are supremely tasty....just like Mom's. Now I don't have to travel to Ohio when I crave Moms' from scratch chocolate cake. Carrot cake is equally sinful. Their style of onion soup does not include melted cheese, but that's fine with me because the soup is tasty enough and I can save some calories to indulge in desert. Sandwich side choices include steamed broccoli or sweet potatoe fries if you try to avoid french fries. The housemade chicken potpie is deliciously rich. Must be some cream & butter in it. Service is cheerful if a little uneven at times. Plate dinners come in two sizes so smaller appetites can go for the smaller size. All ages & families are welcome. Haven't tried the happy hour & bar service but I'm sure some other yelpers can address that.

(5)Andrea K.

(5)Rick Y.
(3)Kevin S.
(5)David J.
Fine food, service and convenient location to Swedish hospital. Give it a try if you're in that area.
(4)Reed K.
(4)Rachel B.

(1)Max C.
Pretty good little place for American comfort foods. Chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak are the recommended items (by the staff). Not bad :)
(3)Gwen G.

(5)Kayla H.
The food is amazing I absolutely will go back!!! The only thing that bummed me out was there were SO many choices on the menu it was hard to decide what to eat, I gladly welcome that though!! Great little restaurant will definitely be returning.
(5)James H.

I love love LOVE their buffalo wings and Greek salad! My son loves the pulled pork sandwich! Lovely staff and fast service! Tasty tasty comfort food!
(4)Mike J.
(5)Mario L.
Visited a friends open house recently and they had it catered by the copper pot. Good stuff and would recommend stopping by as I'm sure it's even better if you eat there! Great spinach artichoke dip that was the hit of the night!! Looking forward to a personal visit to one of the locations in the next week or so.
(5)Steve O.
(4)steve c.

(3)Daniel C.
Recently, I went to an event that was catered by The Copper Pot, It was YUMMY! I have tried the pasta salad, the wraps and the cookies. It was good!
(5)Robin J.
We love this place every time we visit Denver..great service and wonderful baked honestly comfort food! Baked Mac n Cheese, chicken fried chicken and burgers..yummmm!
(5)Rob T.
(5)Julie R.
Absolutely the BEST hamburger I've had in Denver. Emily our waitress was amazing and the home made deserts are to die for. Joe the owner is such a gracious host. Thank you so much for an awesome evening!!!!!!!!!!
(5)Jenessa J.

(5)Michelle T.
(4)Merissa H.
Best onion rings in Denver! We tried this place for the first time tonight and it will be one we come back to again and again. Great service from everyone especially Amber.
(5)Sarah V.
(2)Jamie M.
(5)Christy B.
Super yummy! Cocktails were really good I got the mule and it was great. Dinner was fantastic, the burger was fantastic, a great place to go pre show before heading out to the Gothic!
(4)Lizbeth N.
(5)Erin H.
(4)Caitlin H.

Fantastic, food and service. Stopped for lunch, had the bbq chicken salad with the jalapeño Ranch dressing. .. delicious. Quick, very friendly service. 10 of 10 would recommend and come back.

Fantastic food, There Green chili is incredible and service is top notch. Great prices and very friendly staff. My wife is a desert freak and said there deserts are the best she ever had hands down.So impressed with this place and highly recommend

The best comfort food for a cold winter night! Good service and nice and cozy dining area
(5)Adell C.
Great menu selections and service. Highly recommend if you and your party cannot decide on a restaurant. They have something for everyone. The wine and beer selections are suitable for a restaurant this size. I love the laid back vibe the place pits me in when I go there. It's a great neighborhood bar/diner.
(5)Heather L.

Good Beer selection and delicious eats. Al your staples of salads , soups , and treats. Give the CP a try. !

(2)Pam E.
Only two stars this time based on the fact that they treated serving my child cold, unseasoned pasta like no big deal. This is only the second time we have come within an hour of closing...and the second bad experience.
(2)Michael C.
Good Mac and cheese, and chicken fries steak. It's very southern. Not bad, and fairly good! I will be back and put this restaurant in my rotation.
(3)Eileen E.
We went back and everything was very good. The food was scrumptious. The service was friendly and everyone was helpful. We were very impressed to see that someone had cleaned up around the outside. It looks very nice and spiffy. They are becoming a favorite place for us!
(4)Aileen D.
Great place and very friendly and accommodating service. Yes, I was the b*tch that kept changing her order. The mac and cheese is comfort in a skillet - yuuummmmmyyy! I loved it with some of their green chile mixed in! I know I will be craving this dish when winter decides to visit.
(4)Andrea M.

(5)Jim R.
We love this place! The food is like home cooking, and great prices. It is cozy, kid friendly, and great for adults too, with a bar and TV's. The staff has always been very friendly.
(5)Andrea B.
(4)Jack G.
(5)Lauren D.
(3)Pixie M.
(3)Christopher A.
This place was great! The Mac & Cheese was fantastic! We also ordered the Alfredo pasta which was pretty good, but I've had better. Cute restaurant with a cool vibe... From what I ear, amazing comfort food! I'll be back here next time we hit up Denver for sure!
(5)Stephanie T.
(3)Bryan W.
(5)Matthew S.
(2)Leslie L.
Hidden gem. Good food, good prices and the homemade desserts will keep you coming back for more.
(5)Jessica F.
(4)Joe F.
Great food. I ordered take out and they forgot to get me my salad. The next day the owner called me to personally apologize. Any restaurant owner that take the time for that deserves more of my business.
(4)Ryan W.
(4)dwayne k.
(5)Kasia K.
(1)Lily S.

(4)Andrew B.
This place has really great food, an awesome happy hour and a new location on broadway that is really nice!
(5)Ryan P.
I found this place about 6 months ago, and I wish I had found them sooner. I normally get food for carry out, but the staff is always friendly and the food is excellent. Prices are also very reasonable. If you're looking for a great 'home cooked' style meal in Englewood, there's no better place then here.
(5)Karen M.
(4)Kate S.
The owner of The Copper Pot messaged me personally on here and proved that they do care. I hope that their service continues to improve and get as good as their food!
(5)Stephanie M.
(4)Katie T.
(3)Jackie M.
I traveled ALL THE WAY from CALIFORNIA to try this place, and I would drive back in a heartbeat for the mac n cheese and the pork chop alone. YUM.
(5)Erin J.
(4)Caitlin R.
Always great service. Definitely in my top ten favorite restaurants of all time. Great vibes there.
(5)Lisa C.
(1)Jessica I.
Out of town visitor, we went there for a group dinner. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the food is decent. Nothing earth shatteringly good, but a good overall package if you're looking for a place that has chill ambiance and tasty food.
(3)Amy W.
This is our favorite neighborhood eatery and i think the best burger in denver!! (the wakefield!) staff is super friendly and their food is CONSISTENTLY awesome! it is our "go-to" place any night of the week.
(4)Dave C.
(4)Alex L.
The buffalo chicken salad was effing delicious.
(4)Janine M.
I just eat here on Sunday not sure why it says closed. I had the buffalo chicken wrap it was so awesome
(5)Jonathan D.
This place is great I love the copper crispers, the menu has a lot and it's all good too!
(4)Hilary R.
(4)Monica S.
Great American home style food. I love the fact that they offer blue plate portions:)
(4)Katie S.
This our new local favorite! Delicious food, good happy hour specials, will be back as often as we can!
(5)Sean S.
The meals here are filling and tasty. The Staff is pretty friendly and the service was good. A great experience all together.
(4)Patrick S.
I was buying a car next door at Auto Brokers of Colorado and the Salesman Doug recommended while I was waiting for my new car to get detailed to eat lunch here. WOW!!! Amazing Food!! Loved the place, very nice, clean, friendly, and delicious! Thanks you guys will definitely be back! Patrick
(5)Nick A.
(1)Chris M.
(4)Kristen K.
The Baked Mushroom Romano appetizer is AMAZING! This is a great place to meet a friend for happy hour, have a couple of small bites and a glass of wine, and get out of there for a good price.
(5)Brooke F.
(2)Gabby G.
I liked the atmosphere here but it was cramped, especially since we sat in the back since the front was full. The service was terrible!! The waiter we got barely paid us any attention. The food was ok.
(3)Joe O.
Great food and prices, menu covers all american food. Interesting atmosphere is my only complaint.
(5)Ben C.
(1)Matthew H.
(5)Katherine B.
We love the Copper Pot. Friendly people, great food, and reasonable prices. The food is consistently good. We have gone there many times and have only had one bad dish, (overcooked fish and chips). They offered to correct but wasn't a big deal since we have always had good experience in past. Will be back soon.
(5)AJ J.
Excellent burgers & fries. They can and do cook a perfect medium rare burger ask for extra napkins as you will need them. Their salads are also very good and large.
(4)Michael M.
I have no complaints about the service which was great and very attentive. .
(3)Amy S.
(5)Daniel B.
I had a Groupon and they had good reviews. Great service and good comfort food.
(4)robert s.
Good Burger and Fries - I read some reviews that were not so favorable. I checked it out myself and i will tell you that the burgers were very tasty and the fries were very decient. I ate at the bar and it was a bit noisy, but what the heck. Who can pass up good food at decient prices.
(4)Marc L.
(5)Reid W.
