I read all the reviews on here while craving some pizza at a friends house in the area. Ordered a medium pepperoni pie and some garlic bread for delivery. We were .8 of a mile away and it took 50 minutes to arrive. whoever would call this a NY style pizza has obviously never left Denver. The crust was a tad cruncher than a Red Baron pizza. The sauce had a lot of flavor but was extremely acidic and left me wanting a handfull of Tums for dessert. The garlic bread was mediocre at best. It had a nice flavor but the bread was extremely hard. I guess if this is what you've been used to eating since middle school it would suffice. I will be sticking to Sexy Pizza for my east coast pizza cravings.

This is a small, family run pizza place that has been a presence in the neighborhood for years. It's a small place, with little seating, so it can be quite jammed on busy nights. None of your "gourmet" type pizza here, just standard fair, but the pizza here is freaken' AWESOME! Get the sausage, best in town! I don't get what's up with some of the low ratings, good grief, one star are you kidding? If you love pizza, you'll love their pizza! Did I say get the sausage?

Thin crust with a blanket of sauce sparked with flavor. Cheese covers the pie like a layer of new snow on your car. My taste buds savor every dot of the homemade Italian sausage decorating this pizza along with a supple amount of pepperoni. No fru fru choices. Standards basics no garlic BBQ chicken thai options, yet they still have tuna as an option. Still though, straight up home-school. The Pizza King is to whom I bow.

When I visited Frank's, they didn't serve beer and I'm not sure if that's still the case, but a business that's been around this long has to be doing something right.

The best vanilla coke ever and greatest service as well as the pizza.

If your looking for that frozen pizza taste then this place is for you. This pizza was as dry as the cardboard box it had to have come in

On Sunday my company hosted a photo shoot to launch our new branding, so the entire staff, make-up artists, hair stylists, and photographers were present. Some of us were hungover and looking like we had been dragged under a truck to get to the photo-shoot. After our photo-shoot we treated everyone to Franks for Pizza and Garlic Cheese bread. We had a Large pepperoni, Large Pepperoni and Sausage and a Vegetarian Pizza - - there is nothing more that needs to be said but it was heaven on earth. They even allowed for special requests, such as very very thing crust. The sauce, crust and the meats and vegetable were flawless and delicious. I felt like i was teleported like a ping pong between New York and Italy. Flavor galore!

A small family restaurant with great pizza. As a pizza fan I couldn't skip this place linked to many good comments. As I satisfied customer, I have returned a few times. The pizza is delicious: Thin, rather crunchy crust; tasty non generic sauce and good toppings (specially the sausage, so good!). Not expensive, very good value for your money. Visit their web-site for a coupon on pizza. It has their own parking lot so there is no parking problem. The interior of the restaurant could be a little nicer, but heck it is still good food for reasonable prices. I hope you give this place a try. It has been around for quite some time, it sure has a good fan base.

You gotta be kiddin' me. It tastes like FROZEN PIZZA. Seriously, our pie had that cardboard-like crust that frozen pizzas have. The sauce had no taste and the pepperoni was pepperoni. I see no reason to return.

I agree with all the reviews 3 stars or less. I have lived in Denver area for thirty years and passed this place so many times. We decided finally to stop in for pizza. I will firstly say the service is first rate and because of that gives another star, otherwise for pizza, it is only 2 stars. I totally agree with other comments about the crust , as it really was just like frozen pizza crust. This is NOT chewy, ny style or even any and tossed crust, it is truly the same thickness and crunch as Tombstone. There is zero crust at all on the edge either. The toppings are ok, and flavorful, but the crust was a huge disappointment. This is a small family place that has been in business since 1961. While I have better pizza, I certainly have had worse. But overall this rates near the bottom for pizza. Being from New York, and understanding thin crust pizza, this is nothing like that. There is much better pizza all around the area.

Kinda pricey and just okay flavor... I didn't hate it, but I wouldn't go back.

The wings, garlic bread, pepperoni, mushroom and olive crispy thin crust pizza is what I have paid for. Again, and again. The delivery staff are cool. I don't mind going all the way back for the drink that was forgotten. I realized the other night, when on a late night adventure, that Frank the Pizza King, is even open past midnight, or the OPEN sign was left on!? I wonder if the delivery is this late as well.

Franks is a good place to stop in and pick up a pizza. Not the fastest in town but definitely tasty. I've had pizza from Franks for many years and have yet to have anything I didn't enjoy.

I've lived near the Pizza King's restaurant for nearly 7 years and finally gave it a try. We got your standard pepperoni pizza and picked it up. It was delicious! The sauce had so many spices and flavors that it really added so much. The crust was thin but not like a piece of cardboard. You could taste that the ingredients were real and delicious. Cant wait to try some of their sandwiches and wings.

i've been eating pizza from frank the pizza king since i was 4. first of all, i love thin crust, it makes me feel better about eating an entire pizza. second of all, the sauce is perfect. third of all, it's a nice place to spend high school friday nights, eating grilled cheese (SO BOMB) and being high school-y. i wish the king had a magic carpet with which to bring me pizza in fort collins. perfect.

Great homemade pizza. I have been going there for 25 years since I work in the neighborhood. Also worth the drive from home for a reasonable dinner out with the family. Love the Cherry coke that is made by the pitcher.
