Being a country boy from Virginia I have struggled to find legit BBQ here in Colorado. Until today, my go to was Hickory House in Parker...that has all changed! Wingnutz in Elizabeth is now the spot for solid BBQ!! The smoked wings are out of this world with a great crispy skin but juicy meat!! And you have to try the Signature Crazy sauce, spicy sweet deliciousness!!! The smoked meat platter allows you to try a variety of their incredible BBQ, and you have to try the Bourbon Baked Beans!!! I can't even talk about how good the corn is!!! My wife had the Pit Pork sandwich and was way beyond impressed! It was lean and smokey, and the hoagie roll was the perfectly soft vessel for the meat! All I can say is...WOW!! On top of the quality food, the service was exceptional! Brittany, who just happens to be the Chef's wife can direct you to an amazing experience of food! She was attentive and friendly and made us feel right at home!!! You have to check this place out!

Wasn't sure what I was going to think this evening.... I had been here before and, quite frankly, the service was horrific; however, the wings were VERY different than anything I had ever had. I needed to try again. Arrived to a fairly empty place. Seated immediately and then... wait for it.... LOGAN arrived at our table with possibly more energy and character than should be legal. Logan has seemingly mastered the TSA method of stereotyping -- the immediate offering of bevs to me and the crew was almost spot on. He told me I looked like I wanted a BlueMoon. I really wanted an IPA. That is the only reason my review has 4 stars. In order to get 5, I want a server who can actually read my thoughts and just bring me everything I want! hahahah The wings were definitely worth the second shot. Very happy to see the place coming back up to a solid service level. Keep it up, I'll be back!

I move to Elbert and everyone talked up wing nutz. So I went on a Friday just after they opened. Another table was there just before me. These guys at the other table had been there many times. But they were out of the stuff they wanted. The server was a guy in his early 20's. He knew the menu. Also sold me on a pork sandwich with fries &12 smoked wings. The wings were awesome. The pork sandwich was not good. Bread was old and dried out, pork tasted like it was cooked the night before reheated in the microwave, then slathered with BBQ Normally I don't incorporate this in my reviews unless there's more than one problem or it's a safety hazard. But the cleanliness of the dinning room and bathroom were not up to par. The seat were sticking, floor hasn't been mopped in awhile. Went to the bathroom on my way out to wash my hands. Pee stains all over the floor and no paper towels. If you have these problems with the front of house. How often dose the kitchen mop and wash their hands without paper towels. This is what happens when restaurant owners put their business in the hands of kids

We went to Wingnutz twice during our stay in Elizabeth. The first time was for lunch/dinner. The atmosphere is quiet and open, and the servers were very friendly. The wings were excellent, just the right amount of kick. The service was alright, but they were in no haste and were seen on their phones more than askng about refills. I ordered a blue moon and when I received it, the beer was warm. Not pleasant. If we hadn't have gone back, I would have gave it 4 stars, due mainly to the excellent wings. We decided to go later that night as well to see what the bar was like. The atmosphere was completely different, and we immediately were looked at like outcasts. One man even went as far as to pay for a game of pool, rack the balls, and then step outside for 45+ minutes for a smoke and extensive conversation with a buddy. The fact that we have only been once is the only reason they are getting three stars instead of two. I'd rather take the extra time to go find a buffalo wild wings next time.

We love Wingnuttz! Food is great and service (Logan) is always on point! My husband loves the brisket or he will get whatever is on special. Never a bad meal. I will only eat the Pastrami bc it is the best I have ever tasted. Try a house margarita and for sure ask what Miss Kitty has for dessert. Owners are friendly, care about their customers and are hands on running the business. Support local! This is a must try!

This was our first experience in the restaurant. Our granddaughter loved their wings & fries when they had their little food truck. However, I didn't like the cherrywood smoked flavor on them. So we never went into the restaurant until today. We went because they are doing a fundraiser for a family in our community so we wanted to support it. BOY ARE WE GLAD WE DID. The best smoked meat just short of Bubba's in Ennis, TX!! I had the Reuben & my husband had the French dip. So good. My husband said it was better than Cherry Creek Grill's French dip. That's saying a lot!! Our sever (Mel) was so funny & so attentive. Good food & good service all in one place. Why wouldn't u go back?? We definitely will!! Tom & Kitty Riso Culinary Construction Co!!

went here for the first time today.. it far exceeded expectations. The pulled pork was amazing and I have had bbq all over the country. The wings were crisp and the sauce(spicy) was excellent.. our waitress was excellent as well.. even going back to the kitchen to make sure we could acccomodate a allergy from one of our party. Can't wait to go back. If your anywhere near Elizabeth you owe it to go and try it.

I found myself in Elizabeth and we were hungry. I had not heard of the this place, but am so please that we found it. The staff was super friendly, the beer was ice cold and the food was amazing. The hot wings (boneless) were hot...the waiter described them perfectly. I had a "man salad"....check it out.

Located where Botana Junction used to be, Wingnuttz is an outstanding addition to the Restaurant scene in Elizabeth . . . and we even got to catch the ribbon cutting ceremony tonight. Wingnuttz has been open a little over a month, and several people had told me I needed to check it out. Wow, were they right! The wings here are incredible. They are some of the most unique wings I have ever eaten. If you are not a fan of "smoky food" (i.e. suggestive of smoke especially in flavor or odor), then this may not be the place for you. If you love smoke flavor, then you MUST check out Wingnuttz. I hate "slimy" chicken wings. All of my favorite wing places do crunchy, crispy wings (whether breaded or naked). Wingnuttz slow smokes their chicken wings over cherry wood. Then the wings are deep fried until crispy, and finally they are tossed in a signature glaze. The final result is super smoky, very crispy, somewhat spicy, with just a hint of sweetness. The smoking dries out the wings just the right amount, guaranteeing a crispy wing after it is fried. You can choose from mild, medium, spicy and crazy hot. We got the spicy; the heat was a slow burn that built up over time until you really felt it. We also shared a pulled pork sandwich with a side of fresh cut fries. The flavor on the pulled pork sandwich was excellent. Again, the smokiness was aggressive and welcome. The slaw topping was well-balanced and flavorful. The fries were quite good. I asked about the seasoning, and found out they use a cajun spice. Later, when I talked to Tim (chef & owner), I commented on the mild smokiness of the fries, and found out they cook them in the same fryer as the wings, which gives the fries a nice smoky background note. Although it is not on the menu (yet), I also was able to try the fried pickle spears (since Tim saw me ogling them when he walked by with a batch), which were a salty bit of panko crusted heaven. Our server, Jazz, was perfect in every way. She was friendly, speedy, had helpful suggestions, and never let a drink get below the 1/3 mark before she offered a refill. As previously mentioned, I also got to meet (Tim and Jess) the owners of Wingnuttz (a very nice, friendly, and interesting couple). I wanted to try the signature desserts ("Deep Fried . . . OMG"--deep fried cheesecake with vanilla rum glaze and fresh peaches, or "Gra-Ma's Bread Pudding"), but we were stuffed, with a 1/2 order of wings to take home as well). I understand that Wingnuttz will be getting their liquor license by the end of the year, and they already have a separate bar and room set up for it (so, hopefully you will soon be able to wash all this smoky goodness down with a frosty beer). In summation, if you are craving an original and pleasurable wing experience, you need to check out Wingnuttz. ADDENDUM (6/11/12): The pastrami at Wingnuttz is amazing. They smoke it themselves. You can get it in a sandwich, or on a burger. Also the pork tenderloin sandwich is a great option if you want a tasty meal, but would prefer everything not be all smokey.

Will not go back . Husband ordered signature crazy, "hot" . NOT. My order of signature med. Was so mild and sweet. Found out the order was placed wrong. Gave me med sauce. Still mild. Will not be going back.

I had the buffalo boneless wings and I could taste the Franks Hot Sauce that you can pick up from any local grocery store. They were slightly dry but they tasted okay. The service was great though. Food came out fast and they did well on refills. Food: 7/10 Service: 10/10

Wonderful wings and very reasonable prices! The smoked, sweet, yet spicy flavor is unbeatable! Give it a try, worth the drive!

Ribs were okay, sausage was horrible. We found a hair in the coleslaw. Pork rinds were cold and stale. They were served hot at lunch on last visit. Mashed potatoes had no flavor. Young kid who waited on us was horrible. Very disappointed overall tonight.

Loved this place when it was street meat.. not so much now. I think they should rename the place Wingz, due to the fact that the Nutz inventory always seems to be out. Don't know if it is inexperience or arrogance, but I think the owners should have kept the street meat location. Want carryout? Plan on returning multiple times to retrieve items that have been left out! One nutz, two nutz, three nutz four? Not at Wing Nutz...very disappointing!

We finally gave up on this place. The wings are great, and the owners are really nice people, but the service is absolutely terrible. If you're dining in, be prepared for a long wait. We knew this so we ordered over the phone so we could just pick it up. I placed the order and the girl told me 25 minutes. I knew better so I gave it an hour. I arrived, told the girl I'm picking up the order and she doesn't seem to know about it even though I'm pretty sure she's the one I talked to on the phone. She takes my money, then disappears into the kitchen. 5 minutes later she come out and says it's almost done. I wound up waiting another 30 minutes with her continually telling me it will only be another 5 minutes. That was the last straw for us. That was 6 months ago and we've never been back. If we want BBQ, we drive to Parker. Too bad, I'd rather spend the money in the town where I live.

The test of a good chicken wing is the " naked" one... On that sense wingnuttz. dropped the ball... They were over cooked and dry And tasteless!!!!Needed my bluemoon to wash it down
