Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

We love good pizza, and thought this was great pizza, we really liked the crust. Fabulous service! Holly was attentive and very sweet. Would come back.

Every time we return to the area, Marko's is #1 on our list .Many years ago we first dined there and met our server and now treasured friend, Gretchen. It's a family owned restaurant and the food and service is 5 star. More than just pizza, they have a great menu and ambiance. GO.! You will not be disappointed.

Took my family here after reading about it on a review of our hotel...we were pleased! The crust has a nice crunch while still being soft inside, and there are lots of toppings you can shake on at the table (shredded - not powdered - parmesan, garlic powder with herbs, Italian herbs, etc.) The pizza didn't blow our minds but it was great to find a place that didn't mind my children running back and forth from the video games & that fed our family of 5 for under $30. Service was casual and friendly.

Horrible experience, not worth it! Employees are not well trained in customer service. Also pizza was soggy.

This spot is a family tradition each year as we first arrive in Beaver creek. Great pizza and calzones that always please!

We ordered two pizzas with three toppings each. Marko's only got 2 out of 3 toppings correct on each pizza and the crust was under cooked and flavorless.

Marko's is one of my favorites in the valley. They are affordable, and have decent drink specials with all their pizzas. Try the meatballs on their pizza, they are so good! Or order a pizza for take out and walk it over to Crazy Mountain Brewery, that is also a fun way to spend the day in Edwards.

Large pizza was of huge proportions! Very satisfactory to order from after a long day of skiing...

good place for lunch. the place is fine nothing stands out the food is tasty. i would recommend the carne roll calzone. word of advice the doe they use for the pizza and calzones gets very soggy if not eaten fresh.

We ordered the pepperoni pizza, meat lover pizza, Cesar salad with grilled chicken, garlic dough balls, cheesecake and brownie. We never had anything this good. The dough is so good, could not stop eating the pizzas. The garlic balls Are great. The Cesar salad was small but they put a big piece of grilled chicken in another container and that is to die for. Both the deserts tasted home made with fresh ingredients. Can't really tell what was better the cheesecake was a very descent size, creamy and amazing. The brownie was good for two people and backed perfectly plus it tasted great.

Markos is great. I'm surprised there are a few negative reviews. I work a few blocks away, and we order Markos at least once a week. I've never tried their pizza, but their calzones are awesome. The greek salad is also great, and the dressing that comes with it is the best house dressing I've had.

Was OK. I've learned not to expect much from this part of Colorado. If I went back I'd have basic pizza and hope it's better than my calzone which had enough cheese to make a mouse very happy.

My family insists on dining here when we visit Vail Valley. It's pretty kid friendly but the pizza is not that great nor are any of the other offerings on the menu. It's definitely on the cheap side for the area.

If it's great service that you are looking for, don't go near this place. I usually don't return to a restaurant after a terrible experience, but marko's food is not that bad. A few years back, I had a server that had a terrible attitude and even gossiped about my party where we could hear him. The trash talk followed a simple question about a price difference between the menu and the bill. Following his appropriately poor tip, he had the nerve to approach my truck and get in my face. When I got out, he ran back in the restaurant. I spoke with the MOD, who was professional, but still made excuses for him. I don't really care how bad your day has been, you work in the service industry! I then called Marko at home to inform him of our experience. Trying to remain professional, I stayed calm... even as he proceeded to belittle me and curse at me, similar to what I would expect from some back alley piece of trash teenager. Years later, I decided to let bygones be bygones and stop back in. We had a waitress that didn't even appear old enough to serve alcohol and whose level of service, knowledge, and attitude were all well below what you would expect from a restaurant that has been around for so long. She attempted to memorize our order, but then had us start over once my girlfriend ordered wine. In a very whiny voice and after a breathy scoff, she laid blame on us for having a complicated order. She then wrote down our order, but after receiving our food, I realized that my pasta was missing the chicken that I had added to it. There was no check back for fifteen minutes, even as our drinks and waters went empty. Finally, I told her about the mistake when she asked how we were doing from across the room/counter. All she had to say was "sorry." She then told Marko, who was sitting there for the whole ordeal. He did absolutely NOTHING, just had another shot with his buddy and walked out without even acknowledging us. Our waters were never filled, our drinks never checked on. The waitress told us she did not charge me for the missing chicken. I tried to lighten the mood by jokingly saying "well, that's good, since I didn't get it." She in turn scoffed and stomped away like a disappointed preteen girl. Sorry for the long review, but I feel that everyone should be properly warned about what to expect at Marko's. I have worked and managed in the service industry, from college bars to chain and even five star restaurants. I know first hand how a crappy attitude at the managerial level trickles down and affects the service and the food. Hopefully someone with some real customer service knowledge will open up an Italian restaurant to sweep this garbage into the Eagle River.

Their thin crust is really good, and the white pizza is great.

I have been to Markos many times, and the service as well as the food has always been outstanding. Everything from their chicken wings, pasta, and pizza to the homemade salad dressing(s) has been carefully crafted, and is absolutely delicious. The location is great as well...we have kids that frequently have recreational activities at nearby Freedom Park, and it is a great place to go afterwards. I have found that Markos is extremely kid friendly, more so than other restaurants in this valley. I was particularly impressed just recently when I was in there for lunch during the work day, and after the owner served me my lunch, he told me that he knew I was usually in a hurry at lunchtime, and if I did not want anything else he could bring my check right over. It is that kind of professional intuition that keeps me and my family coming back there. I would highly recommend Markos to locals as well as folks just passing through...the warm small town atmosphere make this part of the Vail Valley experience.
