We had a great family dinner there last night. The staff was friendly and attentive. They have gluten options, which is fantastic when three of us have an allergy. My husband loved the duck confit club sandwich. I adored the pecan pie salad. The maple bourbon vinaigrette should be served by the glass. I was ready to lick my bowl when I was done withy salad. The kids had cheese pizzas, and we were able to sub gluten free crusts for them. The portions are large! We split the lettuce wraps amongst the four of us, and the 2 and 5 year olds enjoyed them. The hubby enjoyed the Bonfire Brewery beer on tap. It was an enjoyable, family friendly atmosphere and dinner. They even had our Tigers game on the televisions.

First of all, there were three or four girls standing at what we thought was the hostess station at the front of the restaurant. We walked in assuming that they would seat us, but instead they asked us if we would like to purchase some beads (for charity). It turns out that the hostess wasn't even positioned in front of the door, but the bead slingers were. Well, that was odd. We tracked the hostess down and she was able to promptly seat us at the bar We started to peruse the menu, but nothing looked particularly exciting. Nonetheless, our starving selves were able to come up with some items and after waiting awhile for our slammed bartender/server we were able to put our orders in. The first item that arrived was the coconut-battered fried shrimp. These were pretty nice, with a course coconutty crust and a mango salsa that was a tad sweet. Not a bad start. But then the entrees came: an asian chicken salad and chicken parmesan. I had also ordered a side dish of mixed vegetables. The chicken salad was just very bland. The chicken wasn't seasoned at all and it was all just very plain. The chicken parm was the same. The penne was a tad overcooked, the tomato sauce had a raw tomato taste and was a little too light a color (since the tomatoes were undercooked) and everything was extremely bland. The side of mixed veggies were actually a few sticks of barely cooked zucchini and something that looked like pickles. I didn't try those because I sent the vegetables back. In retrospect I should have sent everything back, but I was too hungry and pissed off to bother. Our whole meal with one drink was $45 which for a crappy meal is extremely overpriced. On top of it all, there was live music, with the worst rendition of "brown eyed girl" I've ever heard. By the way, i'm baffled about all the 4 and 5 star reviews. That is was brought us here. And everyone had the Asian chicken salad and LIKED it? WTF?? C'mon people have some standards for good food!

A great place for a quick business lunch - fast service, good food and a comfortable setting. So far, I've tried the Turkey Jalapeno Burger (very good) and the Veggie Burger (also good, though a little squishy). If you decide to sit outside in the middle of the afternoon, be sure to grab an umbrella or, better yet, sit in the shadow of the building. The outside area faces an open parking lot and can therefore be very sunny and hot.

E town treats locals really well. They have specials every week night and a great Happy Hour. Tuesday burger night is a personal favorite. The management and front of the house are always friendly.
(4)Shari Y.
Like everyone else who reviewed E-Town, I really like the set up they have going on in there. The circular booths are pretty cool. I like the general look and feel of the place. As for the food, it was pretty good. I had The Ring (burger with bbq sauce + onion ring + bacon). It was pretty good. My boyfriend had the Bleumushroom or whatever it's called, and loved it.
(4)Paulene K.
I love the atmosphere and set up of this place! 16 TVs - TV viewing from every seat in house, semi-private high back booths, good food, large bar, modern and really friendly and fun people! I was in Vail/Beaver Creek area with family and I was desperately searching for a place to watch the NCAA March Madness games. Alas! e|town was recommend by our hotel concierge; a place that has plenty of TV screes and great food, the concierge was spot on. Thanks to e|town everyone had a good dinner and watched the games. It was really nice to get away from the resort areas and try some of the local spots. My new favorite in the Edwrds-BC-Vail area! I really wish that they would make one in Orlando, where I live! Please, please, please... *extra stars to the owners rep'ing the alma mater!
(5)Andrew R.
Very nice, clean, sports bar. Has a very nice outdoor seating area and plenty of televisions. I enjoyed the turkey club sandwich and fries. Fast, friendly service.
(4)Michael S.
Love the atmosphere! Food is always really good. Very consistent. Something for everyone to eat and drink. Also, very kid friendly.
(4)Kristin W.
Great stop after a day of skiing. We had a party of 9, and we all gathered comfortably in one of their big booths with a great view of the Olympics on the TV overhead. There was something for everyone, and it was all good...appetizers, pizzas, salads and sandwiches. We are wing lovers, and these didn't disappoint. The BBQ chicken pizza was standout. Service was great and prices were reasonable. We'll be back!
(4)Rick K.
Great happy hour. Only complaint was the limited desserts. Food was great, atmosphere excellent.
(5)Mallika B.
I hate hate to write a negative review, but the service was that bad. Brought everyone water except for my 9 yr old. Then didn't have his requested OJ. Then altogether forgot to put in his burger order. He got it when we were all finished. Filled up friend's lemonade with water. Had to request silverware. The list goes on. The waitress had a cavalier and dismissive attitude all around. In her defense, she had a lot of tables. The food was good, but we won't be returning.
(1)Adam G.
We are big fans! The food is great, service is good and or kids love it as well!! We enjoy it after a bike ride from Avon.
(4)Sandy H.
Good food, great wait staff. Excellent deserts. Lots of TVs. Considering other choices in the valley this place is a winner. I always eat here when I am in town.
(4)D H.
We eat here on a regular basis and the food is always fantastic along with a great atmosphere! You can sit in an area closer to the bar and view the multiple televisions or sit further away to enjoy your private conversation. The atmosphere fits all types! The filet is on a bed of spinach with fresh Yukon mashed potatoes. Great flavor and perfectly prepared! You can cut the steak with your fork!!! The salmon melts in your mouth and its served with cool quinoa that complements the fish very well. Also, it is the perfect portion size. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food all at a very reasonable price!!!
(5)Alexandra A.
The menu is awesome here and I think the food is great. From their salmon to the super rich and decadent chocolate cake, it's beautiful! Their patio is fun if you have pets. My only complaint here is the service. It is painfully slow and they are incredibly unapologetic about it because it's a norm there now. Also their tequila selection is a bummer.
(3)Becky S.
A laid-back, welcoming place. My companions' food (beautifully fried fish and chips, tasty blackened chicken sandwich, good burger w/ bacon and onion rings) was better than mine (sesame ahi tuna was flavorless and under-seared). Delicious and moist carrot cake was a great share for dessert. Overpriced, but no more so than everything else in the Vail Valley. Good choice for family dinner or bar / patio.
(4)John H.
Good food (burgers, salads, steaks) but slowish service. The atmosphere was "sports bar meets trendy dinner joint"
(3)Wendi G.
Such a wonderful lunch ,,, service and the food was really good. Tucked in the far end of Edwards Main Street area. Unfortunately they did not have a liquor license and about 5-6 groups of people walked in and left when they found this out. They should have it back by Feb. 2014. We decided to stay and did not regret our choice. I had the ahi tuna sandwich - grilled sushi grade tuna, sweet soy glaze, sesame slaw ginger, wasabi mayo and ciabatta roll. Oh so tasty and the tuna was cooked perfectly. The roll was fresh and the slaw had tons of flavor. Scott had the animal style yo' - double patty angus beef, american cheese, caramelized onions, pickles and special sauce. A juicy and heavenly burger. Don't miss a great meal in Edwards ,,, you can always grab an adult beverage later!
(5)Jess M.
Loved the tator tots, good service, and sat fairly quickly on a busy Friday night. The homemade ranch is so good. I'd definitely go back!
(4)David C.
I stopped by E-Town while at the Riverwalk in Edwards (Thank you fellow Yelper's for the reviews) -- The place was *PACKED* at 7PM, but I found a spot at the bar, and had the 1/2 pound burger (Tuesday special), which hit the spot. It seemed like a good crowd, and the place has a good vibe. I'll be back.
(5)Ryan K.
Food and atmosphere were excellent. The only complaint that I have is their draft beer selection was a little light. Most places have a pretty decent selection now a days, but this place almost served exclusively bottle beer.
(5)Shelby B.
Took a late summer vacation to the mountains, and were hungry for lunch when we arrived. Took a look on Yelp to see what Edwards had to offer, and decided to try out E-Town. Had a nice table on the patio and started out with the calamari. They were crisp and tasty, with just the right amount of breading. I then had the 'Ring' burger (bacon, BBQ cheeseburger) with sweet potato fries. Burger was cooked well, good BBQ flavor and the sweet potato fries were delicious! My wife had the seared sesame tuna salad. She liked it, but asked if they had any type of 'wasabi' based sauce/dressing she could add. The waitress indicated that they had something, and that if she has that salad she always adds it. After bringing it out, my wife enjoyed her salad very much. Our daughter ordered a pizza and it looked fresh and hand-made. Overall a nice place to grab lunch. Would return and eat there again.
(4)Rachel D.
I come here (a couple times) every visit I take to Edwards. Delicious food including generous, full and tasty salads, great pizza at the perfect size, and you can't beat their wings. Great beer selection, too!
(5)Kate R.
E town has awesome happy hour food and drink specials. They are also open early on Saturdays for football games, complete with a kick ass bloody Mary bar and brunch menu. Also good for a low key casual dinner spot. Fireplace outside!
(3)Caroline M.
This was a great spot to find in Edwards. TVs face each booth so the guys in my group loved being able to keep up with their Thursday night football fix. I loved going to a sports bar that didn't have "sports bar" food. The pecan pie salad was really, really good. Neither too light nor too heavy and all around perfectly balanced. Definitely recommend!
(4)Marcy B.
I stopped here for dinner last night after a recommendation from a local. After waiting almost 15 minutes, someone finally stopped by to take our drink order. My husband didn't feel well so I ordered the steak for myself and my daughter to split. The filet was a bit chewy but had good flavor and my daughter loved it as she is a meat eater. However, the presentation was awesome, especially for the price. The steak was on top of mashed potatoes with asparagus and crab bearnaise sauce on top and surrounded by sautéed spinach. YUM! Service was okay . . .
(3)Maria P.
Never a let down! No matter who I go here with or who I introduce this place to, no one leaves unsatisfied. The duck confit sandwich as per usual is fantastic with a side of sweet potato tots! Plus the summer scene is fun. Nice outdoor patio, live muic, beautiful Colorado weather hard t beat!
(5)Kc D.
It's ok, nothing special. We tried several dishes and all came in as ok. Steak sandwich was a bit chewy and lobster Mac was fair. + on the atmosphere and bloody Marys.
(3)Stephanie Q.
Good place. There was a short line to get a seat so we sat the bar. Started off with a screwdriver- my first drink in Colorado. Unaware of how much being 8000 feet above sea level affects your tolerance, I chugged that whole thing down! Appetizer: crab artichoke dip. Delicious. Too many chips, a lot more than the dip. We finished the entire dip with some chips left. Main course: Asian chicken salad. Pretty good, can't complain. Except for the fact that it doesn't really help your tolerance when drinking! 2 drinks later, I already had a headache. Thank you Asian genes.
(4)Ally C.
Accommodated our 12 person group in a big round booth on a busy Saturday night. Extremely friendly waitress who worked with our group and separated checks. She knew the menu and offered some great suggestions. Definitely get the cheesesteak/philly sandwich with tator-tots and cheese sauce! Skip the gyro sandwich, not a juicy saucy gyro that I was expecting. Full bar with numerous beer on draft! Definitely the place to go in Edwards for good drinks and food!
(5)Cassie N.
I am very surprised that they have not been shut down by the health department!!! My chicken was not even cooked!!! Pink in the middle.. good to know it was real chicken but still.. Come on!!! I wanted to talk to the cook but according to the staff everyone in the kitchen only speaks spanish.. great.. I am a local very very displeased.. I will never recommend anyone to eat here unless they want to get sick..
(1)Stephanie L.
We hung out at E-Town yesterday afternoon for the first time to share lunch and to have a couple of glasses of Chardonnay and Fat Tire's. My boyfriend and I chose to share the Calamari app and the Seared Ahi Tuna Steak entree' - We were very pleased and satisfied with both. The Calamari came with a delicious Chipotle Aioli dipping sauce, and the Ahi Steak came on a bed of Wasabi Potato Cake, Crab Guacamole and 4 Tempura Asparagus Spears - AMAZING! Additionally, the atmosphere inside E-Town and on their extended patio space is cool and casual with good vibes! Lastly, the service was great. We will definitely keep them in rotation whenever we're visiting near Edwards, CO!
(4)Matthew D.
Don't waste your time or money. Service was poor, we spent too much time waiting for the server to come back to the table. Water glasses were empty for 10 mins before she came back to our table and then we had to ask for a refill. When she came back to the table she just left the pitcher on the table without filling anyone's glass. We had several plates and a glass arrive at the table that had food dried on them. The staff didn't seem to care when we mentioned it. The food was below average at best. Spend your money elsewhere!
(2)Eric O.
We stopped here to try and beat the high prices of Avon and Vail. We cruised in from a day of fishing and luckily it was happy hour and a Monday night. Monday night is Rib Night with a full rack plus mac and cheese and sweet potato fries for $16.95. What a deal. And they were juicy baby backs. And the Happy Hour fare was very inexpensive and delicious. Blackened Salmon Ceasar, Chile Lime Wings, some Irish Nachos, and sliders hit our table. My kids loved the wings and we had 3 orders. Service (Erica) was friendly and efficient and I liked the vibe of the place. Pretty quiet on a Monday afternoon but we did not mind. We will try E-Town again for their Burger Night too. The Riverwalk is a neat spot as well. Very happy to have found this spot.
(5)Brandon F.
Great burgers and a good amount of options, sweet potato tots are worthy of mention as well. Deals on Tuesdays. Definitely get the donut dessert!
(4)kristen n.
Just had a great a fantastic meal here. It happened to be happy hour and had a great value for our family of four. Loved the pork sliders, Irish nachos, blackened chicken salad, and kids pasta. Couple of glasses of wine and beer for the adults, drinks for the kids and it all came to under $40. Everything was delicious, service was good and patio on a beautiful summer evening made for a great meal all around. We'll be back!!
(5)Jayla F.
Called ahead to ask if there was a wait for a party of 5 and if they accepted call aheads, the hostess said it would be a 25 minute wait and that we could put our name on the list. We called at 7:05pm and arrived at 7:20. When we arrived, the hostess apathetically asked how we were doing and when I returned the question and she just stared at me...awkward. She didn't give us a wait quote update upon our arrival and we ended up waiting for a while. I watched her interactions with other guests and I noticed she never smiled (maybe she was having a bad day?). We were seated at 7:51pm. She finally approached us and told us she had a table ready, promptly took us to the table, dropped the menus and walked away. No dialogue or introduction as to who our server would be. When our server arrived, she didn't introduce herself or mention any specials (advertised in the menu). Overall, she met our bare necessities but never really engaged us in conversation. Appetizer (chiecken lettuce wraps) were delicious but took over 15 minutes to come out. Our entrees were good but didn't reflect the prices charged (ahi tuna sandwich- very small portion for tuna, salmon entree, mahi mahi tacos). Overall, I would not recommend this place. I'm wondering if there was discord between American standards and the Eastern European staff, but I may be biased considering I am in the service industry myself. Long story short: food was ok but not worth the price. Service was sub-par.
(2)Emily C.
My husband and I came here on a Sunday night for a little Date Night. We decided to come here because the prices and food looked pretty good. He got an ahi tuna sandwich and I got "the zastrow" and a mojito. We were expecting both sandwiches to be good, but we were not expecting them to taste SO amazing! I devoured that sandwich so quickly! The avacado spread was just amazing. We never, ever order dessert because we are usually way too full. But this time we decided to just do it. We got the "chocolate goodness" cake. That cake was SO moist and so delicious! It even comes with a milkshake! I was quite impressed with the bill too. For our sandwiches, a coke, a mojito and our dessert, I believe it was only $45. For the quality of food, drink, and being in the Vail Valley, I thought that was a great deal! I absolutely recommend E-Town for dinner or even just for dessert! I will definitely be back!
(5)Kristen B.
Burger night on Tuesdays is a super awesome deal. Fat, juicy burgers with all the fixins and yummy sides for around 7 bucks. Just can't beat that.
(5)Lynda D.
We are in Vail Valley for one week and try a different restaurant for lunch and dinner. Last night, we ate at E-Town and have decided to break our pattern and go back again. Our food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and upscale, and the place was spotless. There were so many dishes served to nearby tables that we wanted to try. Price-wise, E-Town was one of the least expensive meals, but I rate the restaurant as the nicest dining experience. It was a great value.
(5)Andy K.
Strong and afforable Edwards restaurant. Great for bar food, sports games or affordable fare. Salads and burgers/sandwiches are great choices here. Nice outdoor area to eat as well. Even entrees are decent but not outstanding.
(4)John B.
Mrs. B, Lil Sis, and I went here for dessert once a few years back. We were not served in the 10-15 minutes after we had been seated, so we got up, left, and bought some ice cream at the grocery store. Service here has definitlely improved, especially since it could only have gone up from our first visit. The whole family chose E-town for dinner one night, so I was a little apprehensive. I am disappointed in myself for not giving E-town a second chance much sooner, because the food was really good, the service was just fine, and we all really enjoyed ourselves. I look forward to the next time I can visit this place.
(4)Heather R.
We were looking for a place for lunch and my mother-in-law said she had been here before and liked it. After a quick look on Yelp, we decided to give it a shot. The set up is pretty cool. Lots of TV's, bar tables, booths, and regular four tops. The service is BAD. The place was relatively empty and I was drinking everyone else's water at our table because our waitress took too long to fill up our glasses. When she finally said she would be right back with some, it took her about 10 mins and she brought over a pitcher, filled up all the empty glasses and put the pitcher on the table for us. That would normally be cool, but by the time she filled all of our glasses, the pitcher had about a half glass of water it in. And we practically had to tackle her to pay our bill. The food was ok. Nothing to write home about. I ordered the fish tacos and we ordered a queso appetizer thing. The kids menu was pretty good though-it has several things on it that I think Ms. Princess would have liked. There are such good eats in the area I recommend skipping this place and looking elsewhere.
(2)Ed G.
Fantastic food, fantastic service, and a fantastic location. This place is absolutely wonderful and we are sure to hit it when ever we are in town.
(5)Moni M.
had high hopes after seeing 4 out of 5 stars on YELP, but don't be fooled. Make sure you check the "not recommended reviews" at the bottom of YELP page. Food was decent, my friend had the lettuce wraps which she said was good, i had the chopped salad which was fine, but prior to all that we had the chips and queso with chorizo for $11. The queso ratio to chip ratio was 20% queso to 80% chips and chorizo was only sprinkled with a few nuggets. We asked the waitress for a tad more queso to go with all the chips with had leftover but she said it would be $2 xtra. I thot that was too much since we'd already paid $11, so we changed our request to salsa, thinking that would be easier on the kitchen. She came back saying the manager said that would also be $2. When I asked to speak to the manager after getting our check and letting him know we'd have spent another $40 on additional wine which would've negated the queso/salsa cost he got argumentative in front of us and other customers and was basically an a-hole telling us that he doesn't give away free food, but he mentioned if it were a busier time of year when he wasn't pinching his food cost he might have. Really? You can't make a couple locals happy with a tiny cup of salsa that probably cost the kitchen 10 cents? We won't be back now bc of this. The manager is an idiot and the owner should.
(1)Randall S.
This place was great! We came here to celebrate with some friends and I'm really glad we did. Decently priced, the service was great, and the food was phenomenal. I had the veggie burger (amazing) that had a great variety of favors. Though the chipotle sauce was definitely the winner for me. The atmosphere was quiet, but I would expect that on a Sunday. Overall I would recommend it.
(5)Daphne C.
In a region of Colorado where reasonably priced and good food is difficult to come by, E town is like an oasis in a desert. My boyfriend heard favorable reviews regarding E-Town from his colleagues, so we decided to try out. We even made it out early enough to take advantage of their happy hour drink specials. Service was nice enough, and atmosphere was like a classy sports bar. I had the fish and chips. Fish had a light tempura-quality batter, and was served with an asian-inspired coleslaw and fries that needed a little more crisping - but overall the meal was great. Will definitely return to E-Town!
(4)Jason W.
Great place. It had plenty of televisions to watch sports on and the food variety was wonderful. I had the Gyro Sandwich which was good. It wasn't amazing but it was good. Everybody on the table ordered something different and everyone enjoyed it. Also, if you're a fan of sweet potato, they have both fries and tots. I'm not a fan but everyone else loved them, especially the tots. Good place, good atmosphere.
(4)Susan M.
We stopped here for dinner after reading all the five star reviews on Yelp! This was the one time Yelp steered us wrong. The wait staff was disinterested and slow, the food was extremely boring and tasteless and the live entertainment was annoying. This is one place we will never go back to.
(1)Todd O.
They get 3 stars because the food is good but the service is bad. The place is clean, restrooms are really clean. We went about 4pm for lunch and maybe because the lunch rush was over so was the good service. I wouldn't go back simply because of the food. If good service doesn't matter, then you'll be happy with the food. I had the reuben on a pretzel roll. It was basically a soft pretzel bun, delicious. The mustard was stone ground and delicious. The saurkraut was tasty, pastrami was fine, I got it with chipotle mayo because I needed some spice but it comes with 1000 island I think. Cool sides, sweet potato fries, fries or tater tots. I went boring. The soda was flat and we sent it back. My partner had the sweet potato fries with the bleu mushroom burger. It was decent sized, decent priced and really tasty.
(3)John Q.
Atmosphere was good but even with a kids menu, not sure how family friendly. Sesame tuna was awesome, especially the asparagus, which should be offered as an appetizer. Friendly servers.
(4)Michael B.
Great dinner, atmosphere, and service. Would certainly return.
(4)David G.
Ate here last Friday night. The place was busy as expected. Had to wait just a short while for a table. Service was prompt and attentive. Food was better than expected. I would recommend this for after ski drinks and dinner if you are at Beaver Creek.
(4)Kevin M.
Great food! Lively crowd for a Monday. Server was young and new, but the food was great.
(5)Patrick D.
I've been to E-Town many times and never had anything bad to say until my most recent visit. Ordered the calamari and got what looked to be about 10 pieces. In the past our order had been much larger, and we explained so to the waitress. Instead of going back and grabbing more (I work in a restaurant, so I don't wanna hear anything about cost with calamari), she just took the plate back and didn't charge us. To make matters worse, everyone elses food was mediocre too, except for my philly. It was probably because the kitchen was closing soon, but it didnt help we had to wait 30 minutes for service to begin with. Maybe if they served us sooner we wouldve had better food, I don't know.
(2)B E.
Surprisingly good food, normal prices, which is rare in these parts. Overall good experience and atmosphere.
(5)Holly S.
Good place to grab a bite. Clean bar and dining area and good selection of sandwiches. I had the Southwest Turkey club: turkey, bacon, avocado, green chilies, cheese on sourdough. The bread was a little too buttery for, but the sandwich was good overall.
(3)Jeanne S.
etown is a locals' favorite. It has a great selection of beer on tap (meaning Guinness is included) and very good food. It is generally crowded, noisy and fun. Their salads are great and their whole menu is simple and great tasting. Note: The Guinness is gone! drops it a star in my book.
(3)B.J. M.
My wife, toddler and I visited while spending time with some family in Colorado. The food was great... definitely recommend the burgers and beer. One REALLY cool thing about this place is how the booths are set up. Each booth has a sound-bubble-dome-cone thingy and it's own flatscreen television to watch the game on. It's like a personal mini-theater. Mens' bathroom is tricked out with a flatscreen, too. Definitely an awesome place to catch a game.
(5)Megan C.
I've lived in the valley for four years and the one thing that it's lacking in terms of restaurants is moderately priced cuisine that is CONSISTENTLY good, but that is exactly what e-town has to offer. I've never had anything sub par. The Philly is my go to but I'm also pretty obsessed with the tuna entree, the queso appetizer and the donuts (when I'm feeling saucy). I prefer to sit at the bar but whenever I've sat at a table the service has been friendly and attentive. The bartenders there are great and clearly have a longstanding rapport with the locals. I also really appreciate the variety of events that they host and the occassional big-city DJ nights on Fridays to help shake off a long work week. This place is tops! Oh wait, stop everything! I forgot to mention the bloody Mary bar and breakfast on weekends during football season! Great food, better drinks and a fun sporty community vibe that's a pleasure to be a part of.
(5)Yo U.
E-Town is a great spot. I enjoy the atmosphere. I'll be back.
(4)Erica H.
my favorite place in edwards!!!! the staff is very friendly and the food is great!!! great place to go and watch your favorite sports team!!!
(5)Brett F.
Just an awesome establishment, love the burgers and the atmosphere. It's especially fun to head over with a large group of people and get one of booth's to watch a game (just make sure you call ahead to reserve). It's officially replaced the Gore Range, which is good, but way too crowded especially on weekends. Whenever I'm up for the weekend to ski I'll be stopping by E-Town for food and drinks.
(5)
