Sad I'm a fan of Starbucks I know-- however this is not your normal "on every corner-- across the street from Starbucks" Starbucks location!! Oh NO!! This location is in sweet Edgewater, CO. Love the views of Sloan's Lake thru the extra-huge front windows! Staff is always perkie and prompt in my few visits here. Free AT&T Wi-Fi gives me EXTRA Cool High speed Yelping power. I'm not a regular- but if I need the mellowcup magic and I'm out of supplies at home-- I go to this location.

Better customer service than the one on 1st and Wadsworth (the other one I tend to head to), and they don't charge me for a half pump of chocolate like some other locations do. I can't give any Sarbucks 5 stars, but for what it is, it's one of the better ones.

Coming from Seattle, I usually don't review Starbucks since it would probably take me a full weekend to review every one that I've ever been too. But this Starbucks on Sheridan across from Sloan's Lake is simply amazing. They say, it's about location location and this Starbucks couldn't have been at a more prime spot. The views of Sloan's Lake and downtown Denver are breath taking.

The coffee is pretty run of the mill stuff you'd expect at any Starbucks. The staff was really friendly though. Wi-fi is decent. I wish there were more places to sit actually. If you're lucky, they have one particularly comfy corner to sit in.

Usually pretty awful customer service. Drive thru is better than inside. Have had staff completely ignore me to finish their personal conversations on more than one occasion and for long enough I wanted to walk out. Also served stale (more than day old) pastries. I am a Starbucks fanatic and gold card holder but this location is far from ideal.

This Starbucks has an awesome staff. They are always friendly and never get an order wrong. It is actually the only place I ever order coffee. And the bonus of the lakeview is simply the best.

Slowest Starbucks in metro Denver. Service is only so so.

Always friendly staff that makes you feel so good. Convenient drive thru that moves quicker then going inside. To top it off, a great view of downtown Denver.

Yesterday, I went to Starbucks in Edgewater. I don't know if it is me or that Starbucks really is going down hill but this is the second Starbucks I have been to lately where the service was just so-so and the coffee is watered down. Today I made a decision to go back to the little coffee shops and give them my business instead of big corporate places like Starbucks. I used the facilities and the bathroom was a mess and the lobby? Don't ask. None of the tables were bused and the staff was not busy, so I was wondering why the mess and lack of service. Here's the clincher though, I asked if they had WiFi and the barista said simply this, "You have to pay for it. You can buy a Starbucks Gift Card and then log on to the system and put in the necessary information and then you can use the Internet." I walked away scratching my head. Why would I want to do that, when I can go to a mom and pop establishment, get great service, get better coffee and WiFi for free? I walked out and went to my favorite coffee shop called Forza, in Westminster.

My fiance always gets mad at me for being "mean" to the people who work here. Not true, but once I got in an argument with the flamboyant kid at the register who had a problem with me ordering a Large and not a "Venti". The employees here crack me up. I think they are gamers because once I heard one of them as the other if s/he is a "vulcan". I will never understand how Starbucks employees are so passionate about their work. Starbucks has done something right. Anyway, I love this place and I hate it. But I'll give my review out of love because it's always a fun(ny) experience. Like a live SNL skit in front of your very eyes.

I have to give this Starbucks five stars because it is right by my house and it is my saving grace when I need a quick cup of coffee. I love sitting outside on the patio in the summer with my beagle so I can enjoy the view of Sloans Lake. The only bad thing about this Starbucks is the insanely bad parking lot which drives me crazy when it is busy. Grande love for this Starbucks!

I'm not a huge coffee drinker. You can scan all of my reviews and find just one or two of coffee shops - and that's probably because I went there for breakfast, hot cocoa or tea. Maybe iced tea. I'm especially not a huge Starbucks drinker. I know there's much better coffee to be found elsewhere, not to mention much better local coffee shops in general. But Saturday morning, we needed to get out of the house and find some free wifi and maybe a free newspaper. We walked in and snagged two empty brown leather armchairs by the door where we could get a little work and research done. Like Scott S said, this place is not quite the cookie cutter chain Starbucks you always see. It looks and feels different inside, and is obviously hugely benefitted by the beautiful view of Sloan's Lake across the street and the city skyline beyond. On a sunny day like Saturday, the floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides let in a lot of light - it was almost as nice as actually being outside. We spent an hour sipping a mocha, using our laptop and browsing the papers. It wasn't too crowded or too loud. Never thought I'd say it, but I might be able to get used to this sort of thing.

NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE DRIVE-THRU HERE *The line moves quickly * the people are friendly * the drinks are always made just the way I like them Short sweet and to the point...now gimme my caffeine :)

A sneaky drive-thru location because it's on the cap end of a strip mall. Just drive around back! I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a latte after a morning gym class. The sandwich was taking a bit longer, so they asked me to pull around front so the others behind me didn't have to wait for their morning joe. Staff brought out my piping hot sandwich to my car. I appreciate all this consideration for ALL of their customers! (no one needs a review of the actual drinks or food, right?)

Nice view of the Lake but the inside of the store gets uncomfortably hot when the sun shines in through the large window. There are no fans inside and it did not seem like there was any air conditioning on. When I asked an employee if they could turn some air on, they curtly replied there was nothing they could do bc they don't have access to the air conditioning. Kind of hard to enjoy coffee or read a book when you are dripping sweat!

I really like this Starbucks. I can always count on super friendly customer service and a boost to add to my LONG drive to work everyday. This location has a leg up on the competition because of its amazing view of Sloan's Lake and downtown. Good customer service is not lost on me and I really appreciate the extra smile that the staff here gives when they are handing me my cup o' joe. This location will continue to be a staple in my morning commute.

Update! They totally treat me like family here. I walked in this morning needed a little extra caffeine than my normal coffee provides. I announced to the lady behind the counter that my wife had just given birth to a new baby girl. She excitedly announced my congrats and preceded to treat me to a much needed red eye with extra shots of espresso. The best part, it was on her as a congrats gift. Awesome! Thanks!

Mixed up my order on the drive thru. Parked at the window long enough to turn off my engine and check my email. Hope it doesn't happen twice!

Sneaky hidden drive-thru! I love this Starbucks! Because the drive-thru is hidden, there's never a line, which is awesome. And the baristas are always super friendly. When I'm out of coffee at home, this is where I go!

Mike and I drink a lot of coffee. We make a lot at home and many times go to one of the many locally owned shops. Yet this is one of our favorites. The staff and location have a lot to do with it. The staff is always friendly. The location is perfect. We sit outside on the patio on the sofa facing Sloan's Lake. It's perfect. NOTE: Very few plugs for a laptop, none outside. This is a bummer. Anti-Starbuck's note: I realize there are folks who very much dislike Starbuck's. My perspective comes from being gay and being vegan. When Starbuck's began offering same-sex partner benefits back in 90's, they offered them everywhere, in places where it was tough to be out and gay. This was huge. And when they began to offer soy milk for your coffee (even though I drink mine black), they offered it everywhere, even in places where they had no idea what a vegan was. For these two reasons I can support Starbuck's.

Like other reviewers, I am not a huge Starbucks fan. But as a burgeoning writer, I needed a change of scenery and choose this location based on previous reviews. This is a great location! Very friendly staff, nice lake view, comfortable setting. I was always afraid to sit and work in a business despite knowing it was actually encouraged. Well, this first experience is lovely and I have not felt awkward although I have been here almost 3 hours. As for the coffee...Starbucks, what else can I add?

Clean and attentive servers who stay away from the BORG like attitude that many other Starbucks have. I want to be served by Humans who can joke and talk to me, not hew to the corporate line. Coffee is hot, Starbucks brand, of course, and the view is great, across the street is Sloan's Lake for your viewing pleasure. It's a Starbucks, but the employees take it a definite step above.

Talk about a Starbuck's with a great location! This one sits off Sheridan directly across from Sloan's Lake with views of the water and the city in the distance. The drive thru is a popular one and kind of a tight fit back behind the building and the alley. It is your usual 'bucks fare, but they are quick and the scenery is nice.
