This place is a wonderful contradiction. When you walk in it's like stepping back into an old western movie so I was surprised to see such a sophisticated menu with things like Asiago crusted chicken with pesto pasta and blackened prime rib salad with goat cheese. I settled on a colorado cheesesteak and added jalapeños because I'm a total sucker for two things - a good cheesesteak and chick-fil-a (more on that later). They have really great options for no extra charge to have as your side. I settled on sweet potato fries. The cheesesteak was delicious. Great flavor and melted cheesy goodness. The bun was toasted to perfection. The sweet potato fries were pretty salty but decent. Service was very prompt and friendly.

We were graciously accommodated on the patio because we were traveling with our dog. The staff was so kind and helpful, as it was a busy Friday night. We enjoyed three fantastic entree salads: Salmon, Ahi Tuna and Taco. All were fresh, flavorful and delishes. The Chef expertly dealt with several food allergies in our party. It's a true delight to have a chef with enough skill to prepare a tasty alternative dressing when presented with a special request. Hats off to the chef!! One more note - we had the pleasure of listening to some great live music on the patio while we dined. A lovely dinner in a great setting.

Immediately attracted by the setup both in/outside... Walked in and was immediately serviced! Wanted the jalapeño poppers but apparently everyone already ate them! So we ordered calamari, a legit and plentiful order I may add. The Caesar salad wasn't too fascinating but tasty none the less. My 14oz Ribeye was cooked to perfection and the side veg was a phenom. My girl ordered the chicken fried steak and I was quite envious; she said it was amazing! Our server was very chill and down to earth and I ensured that out service was Prime. 5/5 hands down!

One of the best choices for American food in Eagle (or the valley for that matter). The prices are very reasonable. They have a pretty good sized menu to choose from, with something for everyone. I personally would recommend the Tuna bruschetta appetizer. It comes with avocado and on wontons--delicious. This is a great place for dinner. They have a few good house cocktails and a pretty good beer selection.

Bland food, poor service, over priced. All around a loss. I could've happily handled any of those things on their own but not all three at 7:30 on a Thursday. We had the kids mac and cheese, pork tamales, and the burrito not one of them was good. Not something we'll get sick off of but no flavor. And the burrito was hard like it'd been under a heat lamp too long. My husband and I just had water to drink and even after asking for refills were not granted them. The waitress chose to spend the remainder of our meal at the tables next to us cleaning and recleaning them. Very disappointing, we won't be back even tho it's only five minutes from home.

My sister lives in Eagle and I have visited many times but for some reason this was the first time we've gone to Grand Ave Grille. I'm so sad I had never been before! It was fabulous! Great ambiance and wonderful service and the food was fabulous. I just had a chicken sandwich, but it was very tasty and the fresh cut fries were outstanding! My 8 year old niece told the waitress it was the "most awesomest restaurant ever!" Plus I thought the prices were very reasonable. Especially for the Vail Valley. There were 7 of us in our party and not one person left a crumb on their plate. Highly recommended!

I'm the area of a La crosse tournament and tried this for lunch . Amazing!! Ahi tuna on salad with ginger was great . Perfectly cooked rare tuna. My son loves the cheese steak .

Always good, great specials and 1/2 price app for happy hour everyday!

This is a good place to come if you have to do anything near the airport. It's only about 5 minutes away. It's warm and cosy inside which is nice and inviting. Problem is that the service isn't very good, food takes forever to come out, and the food isn't really worth the wait. It's nothing special. The margaritas say that they are fresh lime (they are not, they are made from a mix) and I suspect that the food they use is pretty processed. My ribs were dry, mashed potatoes were cold but my friends that ordered the burgers were really happy. So maybe stick with that.

The menu has always been awesome but now with the new ICE CREAM window it is the bomb!! Had the Aplple Caramel Crunch shake and am now addicted.

This was a weary traveler's delight. We unexpectedly lost a day's travel when the I 70 tunnel was closed. We spent our forced stay in Eagle and were very disgruntled. The bartender makes concoctions you would expect in a major city at only a few establishments. The food was good with current twists and they accommodated special requests readily. you can get a delicious meal that is also healthy. Atmosphere was cute without being over the top. Service good.

My Wife and I went here for Burgers on a Friday night and it was great. Nice and big burgers and a seat by the fire. I would recommend this place for dinner. Previously, I was here for a Sunday Brunch with my parents, wife and a fair number of friends. My wife and I ordered the pancakes and a breakfast burrito and split both items. Both items were decent, but the green eggs and ham actually looked really good, so I'll probably try that next time (although maybe I'll leave out the ham). Service was good for such a large group. My mother's eggs were a little under-cooked, but the waitress replaced them quickly and without incident. (I don't think anything was comped for her trouble, but this isn't exactly Sweet Basil.) Not a bad experience, but neither was it particularly outstanding.

Stopped by on our way to Beaver Creek. The restaurant is very quaint and clean. The food was surprisingly good. I had the southwestern wrap and the chicken was moist and it was very flavorful. Their sweet potato fries were very good too. Worth the stop if you are in the area.

We went here after a long day at Glenwood Springs. The food was wonderful, but the service was terrible. Overall the service was bad enough to make this a never again for me.

The Grand Ave Grill in Eagle is a "diamond in the rough"! One of our favorite restaurants in Eagle. The food is consistently good and the staff is very friendly. Great happy hour and top notch dinner entrees.

Grand Avenue is a nice homestyle place. The chicken fried chicken is perfectly prepared and never overcooked. The bar has a nice local vibe.

We came for lunch and werer not disappointed, can;t wait to come back and try some more options, the menu looks yummy.

One of my favorite things about coming to the mountains are all of the locally owned restaurants like this one. This was a cute place with really good food. A group of us came here on the Friday before the long weekend for a mini celebration in honor of my cousin who was graduating from HS the next day. We started with 3 appetizers, the jalapeno poppers, artichoke dip & the calamari. Now I know when one thinks of jalapeno poppers, one thinks of the frozen kind that you get at the store. These were not even close. They were fresh, stuffed with cream cheese, and lightly battered and fried. So yummy! The artichoke dip was full of flavor and the pita chips that came with were warm and tasted fresh. The calamari was equally as good as the other two apps and went quickly. They have quite the menu here that offers a little bit of something for everyone. From fish to salads, burgers to pasta I really don't think you can go wrong. One of the specials that was offered that night was Salmon Fish & Chips. My aunt who ordered that was in heaven. I opted for a burger which was pretty dang big and extremely juicy. My mom ordered the talapia that came with a asiago crusted mashed potato cake and some other veggies. The talapia was good but that potato cake was what made the dish IMO. Our waitress was awesome, funny, and attentive. She was on top of it with water, drinks and anything else we needed. I was really glad we came here for dinner and I hope I come back the next time I am in Eagle for the weekend. Cheers!

Great drink on special called the Moscow mule tonight. Yummy. Great food had by all... Definitely will go back during this business trip!
(4)Lauren G.
Grand Avenue Grill is great. I get lunch there frequently - the fish tacos and fish wrap are awesome! So are the burgers and the pork green chile. Great prices and really friendly service. All around a great place!

Wanted to start trying local cuisine as my wife and I just moved to Eagle. Unfortunately we (and the couple behind us) had an extended wait for service, no mention of any specials and after we finally got some wine and water, the Chicken Fried Steak was fine, but served simultaneous with the appetizer. Once we had polished off our hot-lamp heated bread pudding, we knew it was time to go.
(1)Amber B.
Food was average but not worth the wait. Despite the fact that there were empty tables we had to wait to sit so their kitchen could catch up. Wouldn't have minded sitting at a table and waiting there. Service was slow. One of my friends got the breakfast burrito which came out cold. I had the ahi tuna salad. The tuna was good but the salad was 90% shredded cabbage mix with literally three pieces of spinach thrown on top to make it look pretty. There were also no truly gluten free options which I don't really include in my rating but those would be nice.

In town with friends to view the aspens and trail ride. After a Long day of riding we were looking for something amazing to eat......we found it here at the grand ave grill. We got the jalapeño poppers and the ahi tuna on bruschetta, the jalapeños and the ahi tuna were fresh and very delicious. Us girls got the Parmesan chicken with the poblano pesto pasta it was to die for the guys got the prime rib and the rib eye which they found to be delicious. Then we ordered the deserts, the raspberry bread pudding was the best I have ever had, the creme brûlée was fabulous and the brownie Sunday was very resh and rich! We are headed back next weekend and plan on another stop. Answer are great cooks and it's nice it finally get something spectacular for dinner.

Was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Was in Eagle with my girl for the night and decided to go with this place as reviews were good. We started out with the jalapeno popper appetizer as was great, but a little expensive for what you get. For the main dish I got the ribeye with a cajun-demi reduction and Parmesan potato cake and it was amazing! The only problem was that I had to send it back to be cooked as I like my meat medium rare and not still bleeding (I have almost never done this in my life). My girl got the prime rib, which was a special that night, and was perfect with great horseradish. Felt like going all out so got the apple crisp for desert and was a perfect ending to the night! If you are just passing through and looking for a relaxed spot, good food and great service...this is the place! Only thing I would recommend is not getting poppers as again expensive for what you get and sit outside if nice weather. This location truly deserves five stars as it blew my expectations away. However, as had to send steak back to be cooked to medium rare had to give it four stars.

We love the Grand Avenue Grill - extremely comfortable and friendly "cowboy" ambience, with wonderful food across all sections of the menu. Try the Tuna Bruschetta for a great taste of Asia, then the Stuffed Tuscan Chicken for tasty Italian-American fusion entree. And if you simply can't decide, go with the Meatloaf - it's the best in the Rockies!
(5)Jory L.
My wife and I drive to and from Grand Junction on a frequent basis. Every time we do this, we stop at this great place for lunch. It is such a gem. Completely unexpected in Eagle. The food is wonderful and the service is friendly and efficient. We've eaten there at least 20 times and have never been disappointed. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and freshness of their food.
(5)Jennie K.
I have been an on again off again patron since they opened. The food has always been delicious and the patio area is great! The service overall has been consistently good, they pay attention to you and make sure you are taken care of. Have only been here once for brunch, but it was quite excellent! Pretty much any meal here is a winner! Definitely recommend it as a "go to" meal in Eagle.
(4)Mary W.
Love the tuna Bruscheta--it's a meal in itself. I get this every time.
(5)Alexandra G.
Stopped here on trip from Denver to Utah. Easy access off 70, great ahi tuna and avocado bruschetta and fresh salads. Really nice change from normal roadside food.
(5)Wilder R.
Had great meal!! Had cheeseburger, med salad and co cheesesteak w truffle fries!! Awesome!!
(4)Sabrina B.
It was a tuesday, and we found this place by accident. We went to Costco and we were actually looking for a different resturant, when i needed a place to pull off and look up the address again, this is where we turned off to...It was very quiet (probably cause it was a tuesday), when we walked in we were told to sit anywhere we wanted. The ambiance was that of a western cowboy place. I have to say I would have give this place 4 stars if it wasnt for the fact service was extreamly slow and for the fact that they dont do well with visa gift cards. The food was good, although nothing really that intresting. ALTHOUGH! If you do happen to stop by and you want something sweet I recomend their home made apple chrisp. Absolutly delish! Its big enough to share with another person. (although its so good u may want one for yourself) I would like to try out their breakfast (due to one of the review below)...so I will be back.

Really nice, quaint interior. Came on a Saturday morning and was surprised about how the breakfast menu was all Mexican themed. They had really good coffee. Nice breakfast place with a rustic feel inside. Avg breakfast prices with a very small food selection for breakfast. The lunch menu was a full, regular size menu but breakfast menu included Like 6 options, all of which were Mexican themed. I enjoyed my fried egg sandwich and LOVED their coffee, which is a Kona blend. My friends all enjoyed their food and we all felt the portions were a good size. Id stop by again if I were in town.

This place was a good find. Pretty standard fare, but exactly what we were looking for after a long weekend in the mountains. Service was great and we left town happy and with full bellies!

Group of us went here for supper tonight. The atmosphere was nice, not super classy but the kind of place you can go to with jeans or dressed a bit nicer. They service was friendly quick and honest. At one point one of the people in our party was ordering something and the waiter was upfront that it wasn't their best dish. He stated the meatloaf was a very good item on their menu. Several from our group had it and they all seemed pleased. I almost with this as well, but at the last minute I went with the stuffed chicken. I have to say I'm very glad I did as it was awesome. It was stuffed artichokes. They then poured over a cream sauce and set it all atop a bed of spicy sweet potatoes. It was actually the spicy sweet potatoes which convinced me to order the dish as I really wanted to try these. They were awesome, as was the rest of the dish. Overall this was a very good experience. The price was fair. Chicken with two beers was $25 + tip.

Grand Ave Grill is a great, local place in Eagle. I'd definitely recommend the Colorado cheese steak -- everything from the mushrooms to the roll were great and perfectly done. We had great service, and the patio was pleasant. I've met the owners, and they're friendly, hands-on people who seem to really appreciate all their customers! Live music on Friday is also great.

It was late Sunday we were traveling through I-70 to Denver. We got hungry so we Yelped for a place to eat in Eagle. We decided to try Grand Ave. Grill, We're glad we did. My wife had Blackened Steak Salad, ..MAN!! It was absolutely delicious!! I haven't had a salad that good in a long time, the dressing, the blue cheese crumbles, and fresh greens, and good portion of steaks on it! I had Steak with mash tater, it garnished with sautéed onions, carrots and spinach that tasted like they were sautéed in garlic, which was absolutely awesome! It all sit in some kind of Demi Glaze which has really good flavor! We all were very happy and surprised we found a gem in these parts of town!! Definitely recommend this place. It's not a fancy place, more down home, casual which was cool? It has a bar on the other side as well, Thank you for putting the love and effort to make us all such good food! :)

I've visited for both dinner and breakfast. The service was excellent. Friendly servers and we were greeted quickly at the door. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the food both times. We started with the Ahi Tuna - Avocado Bruschetta. Fresh tasting and a big portion for an appetizer. Probably, it could be someone's dinner. I had the meatloaf for dinner. My only complaint was that the gravy was a little salty for me, but otherwise everything had good flavor. The gravy is a Marsala gravy with plenty of mushrooms, so that made up for the saltiness. We highly recommend breakfast. I had the Huevos Rancheros and my boyfriend had the Prime Rib Hash. The prime rib wasn't chewy in the hash & the sauce with it was tasty. I really liked the green chili on the Huevos. It could be a little hotter for me, but I'm glad the kitchen didn't overspice it for those who like a milder chili. Both breakfasts were excellent. I don't know the entire beer menu, but we had a few local microbrews with our dinner, so they are microbrew-friendly!

We stopped in for dinner just after 6:00 pm on a Friday night. We were not in a great hurry but the service was so slow it was ridiculous. The waitress didn't show up for at least ten minutes after we sat down. Then it was at least 15 minutes after we finished eating before she came back and another ten minutes before she brought the check (even though she walked by our table several times). Although it was dinner hour on a Friday night, there were several empty tables in the restaurant so they weren't very busy. I almost think they didn't want us to leave so their restaurant would look more full! The food itself was good. I had the chicken fried chicken. Prices in this restaurant are very high considering the diner-style decor. A hamburger will set you back at least $11.

Love the tuna Bruscheta--it's a meal in itself. I get this every time.

Stopped here on trip from Denver to Utah. Easy access off 70, great ahi tuna and avocado bruschetta and fresh salads. Really nice change from normal roadside food.
