The burritos are great: texan, coloradoan, surf and turf, the three letter one whose name I forget. I would steer clear of the Machos Fries though. It's like nachos made on deep fried potato instead of chips.

I've been going to Macho's since it opened and it has never disappointed. Besides their delicious burritos and their awesome salsa bar, they have the best margaritas in Durango. The blended Avocado Margarita and the Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita are my favorites but they have a ton of others to choose from. Their patio is a beautiful place to hang out in the spring and summer and they have live music during those seasons as well. Don't miss out on Macho's!

Wow. How incredibly disappointing. I have been a fan of this place when it was Beto's on the other side of the mesa. I have been eating here above all other restaurants in Durango due to its convenient location and tasty food. NO MORE! I am currently in day two of some awful food poisoning I received from Macho's after eating their Adobada burrito and a side of rice. F*CK ME! THis is terrible. Yesterday I was held over a bucket in between trying to get some rest and moaning like a stuck pig. I have never felt so miserable in all my life. Macho's no longer will get my business. I want my money and my day back.

I've been coming here since it was Betos. Both locations are good, the food is fine. Nothing particularly wonderful, but perfectly good fast mexican. GREAT salsa bar. The last time I went to the south location the wait was more than it should be for the quality of the food.
