I came here with a bunch of my coworkers. We had a few tables reserved for our large group. The place was small and busy when we came around 6:45pm on a Friday. Parking would be an issue so it was a good thing we carpooled. The menu was simple and had a lot of choices that sounded good. We ordered almost all of the appetizers on the menu which were Fried Pickles ($8), Shishito Peppers ($8), Pork Belly Poppers ($9), Mediterranean Platter ($12), and Quesadilla ($9 with chicken). It took a long time for the food to come out to us. The Fried Pickles were not bad and it wasn't oily. The Shishito Peppers were okay but wasn't spicy in my opinion. They said there were some that were spicy and some were not. We would need to try each one to find out, but I tried the different sized peppers and nothing was spicy. The Pork Belly Poppers had flavor in it and wasn't spicy like the menu said. The Mediterranean Platter was okay but wasn't anything special to me. Finally, the Quesadilla was tasty and probably one of the better appetizers out of everything we ordered. The beer I had (I believe it was the Jolene) was an amber lager with Desert Sun coffee. It tasted good and I could taste the coffee in the beer. I sampled the Miles which was a black IPA. It was a little light for my taste. Between the two beers, I would suggest the Jolene. Overall, BREW Pub & Kitchen was a-ok and not a bad place to come by for a drink and some food.

I have been enjoying this restaurant since they opened. It all started with a beer named Fiona and the autumn salad. When ever my family visits from NY this place is always on their list. In fact we usually stop in two or three times in the week they are here. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Durango. I hesitate to write a glowing review because I fear it will be hour long waits and not the instant seating I'm enjoying on my last 3 visits with my family but I see there are many mixed reviews so maybe this review will not push it over the top. I had two other visits when they first opened that were not that impressive so I know they've made changes for the better recently. First I must mention the service. Durango is not a town where you will get excellent service. Many of the waitstaff around town are students or people more interested in skiing and biking than providing outstanding service. I get it and it doesn't bother me but when the service is actually quite good like we've experienced at this place it's noticeable. The waitstaff here is quick, attentive, and friendly. In a town full of great breweries you've got to have signature beers to set you apart. On earlier visits I did not find any beers I was in love with but recently I've found the beer menu is full of excellent choices. On the last visit the waiter told me they never brew the same beer twice except this beer called Jesus that proved to be very popular. I hope they continue to keep beers on tap that are a hit but experiment with others. I'm not a fan of crazy experimental beers but this is a town full of great beer so whatever floats your boat, I'm easy. I have to admit I've not gone too deep on the menu. I can't seem to get past the nachos, which are the best you will find in Durango. Oh and the Mediterranean Platter is outstanding as well. I've had a few salads which were great and the kids like the Cubano but I haven't dug into the entrees yet and maybe I never will because those damn nachos are the bomb.

The roasted cauliflower is amazing! We had the poutine (BREWtine) and the roasted cauliflower. Both were excellent, but as unhealthy as the poutine probably was (a given), the cauliflower dish was the opposite. Such a healthy, unique dish, yet such a complex but well balancing of flavors. The sweet and tartness of the cranberries goes so well with the slight spice of the horseradish and plays nicely with the savory cauliflower and caramelized onions. And the greens that come with it aren't just a throwaway either. They meld well with the flavors of the rest of the entree and help to round out the dish. And as extra bonuses, the server told us that everything is fresh and locally sourced. So now you have to be thinking that such a fancy dish with good ingredients has to be close to $20 or at least $15. Nope. At the time of this writing: $10! This is a steal. Come for the beer but order the roasted cauliflower. Your friends may mock you, but you'll have the last laugh. It is that good. I am thoroughly impressed.

Nice surprise. Great beer, food was also very good, especially the Quesadilla, which was high quality and huge. Our server was a great guy, who was really into brewing beer (I forgot his name) but really made us feel welcome, which isn't always easy when you are traveling with kids who are tired.

We had a good experience at Brew. Tasty food and a good pint of beer was a great way to do up some dinner. The staff was friendly and the food was well presented and delicious. The seat by the window was great as we got to watch world go by as we dined.

The service was friendly and helpful. We are from out of town and unfamiliar with any of the local brew pubs. The bartender helped us decide - providing rich descriptions of various brews and guiding our selection after telling him the types of things we'd prefer. Terrific selections! Food took a bit but attended by a friendly apology and smile. No problem. We didn't mind the wait and it wasn't that long. Gave us time to drink the first brew. The one star is for ambience. But this is tricky because we are older and suspect most 20-30 something's would rate the ambience a fifth star. It's sports oriented and holds contests on guessing music and movie titles. Though this can be fun and seems to not be so time consuming. Just a bit of time out of the evening. Shouldn't miss this place

Roasted cauliflower was excellent as was the Brewben. The sweet potato tater tots were good but a bit too sweet. Try the Tess beer. Fantastic if you like a porter type beer. I just wish the cauliflower came as an appetizer.

Nice bar seating, and they have some good tables. Plenty of space - the restaurant is not cramped. No loud music. Both hoppy ales I tried were decent, not great. 'Samuel', the American pale ale, is a little weak with not enough hoppiness to overcome a lack of body. 'Trevor', the IPA, is a bit better. On beer alone, this would be a 3-star review. Ravioli special quite good. Black beans are not something I would associate with pasta but it works. Pickled jalapeños - not so much. Side salad is an assortment of nice greens, tomatoes, red onion and cucumber. Other than the plate being a touch too small - very good. Tasty blue cheese dressing. Shishito grilled mild chile peppers are great and well suited even for people who don't prefer chiles. These are truly mild. Because I ordered too much food, I shared these with my neighbor at the table. Service was fine, friendly. Bartender was perhaps a bit overworked having to serve the tables as well as the bar.

We arrived too late to order food, so we did a pint of brew only. The staffs at the counter were very helpful. This is a large restaurant with windows open almost to the floor, and it is a block away from the rail station. The beer we order was good. This is definitely on our list next time we are in town.

So it's eleven o'clock on a Saturday morning and your kid is down because the train station musuem is closed all day, she was so looking forward to that. What do you do? Get her an ice cream? Silly rabbit, of course not. You and the wife have weathered a lot of whining and the day has just begun. Go on, you've earned it. Grab a pint or two. Brew is a short jaunt from the train station and generally worth your time. I wouldn't say we were particularly impressed with either the eats or drinks, but it delivered the basics in a smart, modern atmosphere and you've gotta give 'em credit for attempting to craft a beer that pairs mead with prickly pear cactus. Serial. So weird. My wife's chicken sandwich really needed something, it was pretty blah, consider adding black olives or salsa or... something. But hey, them sweet tater tots? Amazeballs. I honestly thought the amber was the most complex pour, here, and I didn't really understand the point of a brown porter. But whatever. Beer: it's what's for breakfast.

This is the only place I've EVER not finished a beer. Just didn't taste right/good. Service was bad also. Crew had a team meeting right by our table discussing the need to sell more appetizers. Yet we never actually even had a server. Which made it easy to sneak away (after we paid of course)

Dropped in for a fun and simple family dinner and loved everything we had, from the burger to the poppers to the southwest ravioli special. Fantastic service, low-key vibe, and incredible food. We'll go back every time were in DGO. Highly recommended.

We loved the food and the atmosphere in this place! The open front wall was great on such a nice day! The staff was really welcoming and accommodating, especially with what comes along with serving a family with a young child. We will definitely go back!

Nice place with a good atmosphere. House made beers were decent. Although steer clear of the Barleywine. Way too sweet. We didn't get any food but as a professional chef I was keeping an eye on what came out of the kitchen. The looks and smells definitely warrant further investigation. But for right now, I have a belly full of good beer and I'm craving Mexican. So off I go.

Finally, a brewpub that is different and isn't the same ole vibe. There may be multiple BrewPubs in Durango but only one GastroPub and this is it. I tried the Scottish and Pale Ales that were on tap. Excellent flavor and perfectly described on the board above the bar. Our bartender, Sam was awesome and knew his stuff. Also had the Artichoke Soup. Amazing. It was loaded with flavor and was just enough if you are trying to tide yourself over until supper. I would recommend. We did bar hop and out of all the breweries, this one had the most modern feel and it was clear that they were putting some major efforts in the quality of their establishment. I heard they were sourcing as local as possible for their dishes, which always is a better way in my opinion. Had a friend order the chicken and said they normally don't order chicken at restaurants because they can cook it at home but they said it was the best chicken they'd had. I'll order that next time I'm in town. One of the biggest attributes I noticed was the cleanliness of the joint. Due to the modern style, there are clean lines everywhere and no cluttered areas which makes me feel like they were a step above some of the old vintage / antique type breweries. Simple and easy to enjoy. Will definitely go back to try more.

I have always been of the opinion that pork-belly is a dessert, and Brew has done it! Well ok they don't list it as a dessert but get one with the semifreddo and experience the best combo around. All the food here is awesome and not the standard pub fare. Last but not least the beer is great and constantly rotating to the expansive talents of the owner/brewmaster. This is a must experience for anyone looking for a great lunch or dinner.

Okay, I know Brew is new and they are trying REALLY hard and I want them to be successful. Our waiter was SO friendly and they're trying, but honestly the food is mediocre (do they put apples on everything??), meh. I had the cider which was yummy, so I can't comment on the beers. So on the one hand, yay, go new Durango brew pub! On the other hand, if you want food and beer, go to Steamworks until Brew gets their menu more together.

Yummm! The seabass is to die for! They make it with a special fish broth that ridiculously good! staff was on top of everything and super friendly. .. highly recommended

The place is overall ok. There aren't many non alcoholic drinks and there is a very limited menu. The fried pickles are spectacular though. I don't understand how the place is set up because there are flour bags floating on the ceiling. The food is good though. Very very long time to get food. The place is truly in the middle.

BREW is just what the Durango dining/ brewery scene needed. I love all the beers and the menu has something for everyone. The salads are hearty and it's great that they have some unique vegetarian dishes as well as some upgraded favorites for meat lovers. I've heard great things about the burger and short ribs, while I enjoy the veggie disco fries and roasted cauliflower dish. I do wish they would have a good veggie sandwich and some happy hour specials though. The menu is priced right and it's quickly becoming a locals favorite.

PLEASE!!!! Check this place out! You won't be sorry! If you are looking for an intimate, friendly, local place to eat...Brew Pub is for you! Went tonight for the second time and was completely wowed again! The food is wonderful (please... try the hand pulled mozzarella with the tomato bread.... you will NOT be disappointed!!)) The owners are very friendly and our server had a good knowledge of our options. If you are riding the D&S train...this place could not be more convenient for you! Just turn right when you exit the train....towards downtown , instead of left , toward Mickey D's ....you will be very glad that you did!!

Giving them a "5" just for the most awesome short ribs ever (Beer Glazed Short Ribs). Wow! And the Shishito peppers were perfectly grilled with just the right amount of salt and oil. Good house beers and good guest taps, too.

Met here for happy hour and was so so pleased with everything. The servers were attentive, went above and beyond for our group and the food was fabulous. So nice to have a place that serves more that just calamari and spinach dip. We tried every one of the small plates, the hits were the fried pickles, and the pork belly. Obvs. The menu is simple, yet innovative, the beers and wines are well picked and well priced. All in all, so glad we have a new place!

Been there twice, and would go again. A wonderful fresh addition to Durango. The menu is unique, interesting and tasty. It's a far cry from typical pub grub food (see foodie comments below). Heck, they even make their own mustard & ketchup! The house beers were well-brewed, and they had a good selection of regional guest beers, wine & spirits. Staff was helpful and friendly. The decor was a stylish balance of a black steel bartop with tasteful yellow/red walls, high ceilings and lots of windows. The food menu is still evolving so there may be some variations to this summary... * Sunchoke Soup - very tasty with good texture and rich flavor. I've never had Sunchoke, but my wife's family used to grow them and she felt the soup was spot-on. * Roasted Beet Salad - One of our favorite items. The beets were perfectly cooked and the baby arugula and goat cheese were excellent flavor combinations. * Pulled Mozzarella with Tomato Bread - the cheese is not spreadable and required a knife to cut (not exactly date night food) but the Tomato Bread was to die for! * Local Beef Burger - perfectly cooked medium rare with good portion of hand-cut fries. * Stripped Bass over Spaghetti Squash - tender and delicate. Never had anything like it before, but enjoyed it. * Pan Seared Chicken - A large leg & thigh that was tender and juicy. It sort of reminded me of a spicy tandoori with a yogurt sauce on the side. Super tasty. You should definitely check this place out!

Went on a Thursday and the place was full, and according to the staff, was under staffed. I don't know about that, the kitchen seemed to be doing fine, and the bar tender had time to chat with people at the bar. Service was so slow. I got a guest brew, another colorado one that I am familiar with. It was warm. Yuck. The food was really good. I wished I could have said the tip was just for them.

Excellent choice of craft beers. Food... Not so good. For sure not the best Cubano I've had. Turkey seemed gray. Ham was too dry. Dijon was just overwhelming. Amazing service though.

We decided to give BREW another go since it had been a while. We arrived at 9:10pm on a Saturday to see half the bar full of patrons and a CLOSED sign up at the door. WTH!? The hours stated here say they are open until 11pm, but I suppose that isn't the case anymore, or their night was slow enough they could shut down. What a disappointment. They need a better listing of hours on their website. Announcing they open at 11pm without a closing time is misleading. Going from what is posted here the place is open until 11pm and we had at least two hours to possibly enjoy ourselves. OH well, I suppose we didn't miss out on anything for we made our way to El Moro and had a great time. C'mon BREW, get it together.

The beers were great but don't get attached because they change them out all the time and you probably won't get the same one twice. But I never met a craft beer I didn't like so I'm not too concerned about that. I ordered a chicken philly. It came out very fast and it was amazing. I can't stop thinking about it. The service was great. The bartender was very engaging which is great when you try a new brewery for the first time.

I had the pork belly poppers. They consisted of jalapeño peppers cut in half, seedless with a cream cheese filling and bits of pork belly. This item was tasty and spicy but not too spicy. I would recommend this appetizer.

I had a difficult time choosing from all the amazing restaurants in Durango, but I selected BREW because their menu seemed interesting. I wasn't disappointed. Nestled on a corner in the charming downtown district, BREW is welcoming and cool. Parking is a bit tight (we were there on a Saturday night), but we lucked out and found a spot in the one-way street adjacent to the restaurant. The decor is bright and tasteful. It feels like a place you just want to hang out. We were greeted warmly as we walked inside and decided to sit at the bar (football). Our bartender, Nicole, was awesome. She was attentive and friendly. My husband had a beer (can't remember which, but I tasted it and thought it was solid). I had to order the deep-fried pickles, as they are my food obsession. They came out in curls, they were clearly homemade. The breading was light and crispy. I don't like aioli, so I didn't taste it. For dinner, I had the pulled pork (cooked in their beer), topped with a spicy slaw. The pork was tender and uniquely flavorful. The spicy slaw was vinegar-based (not mayo, which I despise) and added a pleasant crunch and tang to the sandwich. The bun was soft, as well. My husband had a big burger, which he happily devoured. Order the Colorado fries. I had to have Nicole explain them to me, as you never know when a region will add cheese to something if they can! They are local Colorado potatoes (Idaho's got nothin' on Colorado!), hand-cut, blanched, and fried, so they are crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, thinly cut and perfectly salted - the almost-perfect french fry (the only way to make it perfect is to fry it in duck fat!). The ketchup was also homemade and a great compliment to the fries. I loved this place. It's a true gem and an experience I'll remember for a long time.

Ate at BREW upon arrival in Durango last night. Super friendly service!! Food was excellent. We tried the Brewtine fries, the corned beef hash, and a Cubano sandwich. All were excellent, fresh ingredients in everything. Would definitely highly recommend!!

We stopped in for an early dinner. Amanda was our server and she was excellent and very attentive. We had the BREWtine and fried pickles appetizers. Both were very good. I also had the Farmer's Ale. It was delicious!!! I had "THE salad" for dinner. It might be one of the best salads I have ever eaten. Very unique and great flavors. Everyone else had the chicken philly and seemed to enjoy it! The only reason I am not giving a 5 star rating is because it was a little slow to get our food. But we weren't in a hurry and it wouldn't keep me from coming here again!!

Went there with kids yesterday. Staff was super friendly! Fantastic food, loved the fried pickles and pesto chicken sandwich. Kids begging to go back, they loved the kid food too. We liked the beer as well, our favorite was the Keller.

Got ignored by the bartender a lot, but everything we needed was brought out to us, so I'm good. Descent beers, and really good Cubano sandwich. The sweet potato tots were awesome too! Just wish their was some personality behind the bar.

I would definitely recommend coming here! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is nice. I got the Cobb salad with the balsamic vinaigrette and it was delicious. The balsamic vinaigrette is one of the best if not the best I've ever had and I've had a lot! My husband got the bratwurst with mashed potatoes and he highly enjoyed it. They have different, interesting beers which they never brew the same thing twice which is a fun idea.
(5)
Timothy A.
Great atmosphere. I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken. The chicken and sauce complemented each other very well. The blackberry margarita was fantastic. The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars was because of the Caesar salad and biscuit that came with my meal. The Caesar salad was bland in regards to flavor. The biscuit that came with my chicken was hard and stale. Other than that this place is definitely worth a visit.

Excellent food. Fried chicken is fantastic and the tomato relish really adds a great kick. Bread side was great. Beer is average but overall great place. Other dishes of note are excellent; Cubano (try with tomato relish), hamburger and fried pickles.

Probably the best brew pub we went to in Durango. Much more limited in-house beer selection than surrounding brew-pubs, but unlike the other places, each beer was unique and strong in flavor. I got an IPA made with lemon-grass that was overpowering at first, but really grew on me. Also tried the Amber made with coffee that was good too. That night they had bratwurst hot-dog and a pint for $7 - which was very good and an amazing deal. Also tried the hamburger which was the best in the area - and we tried many hamburgers in Durango. For better or worse, this place is right next to the train station. It's nice to see the trains pull in through the window. But about the 10th time the train whistle deafens your conversation, it gets old. Side note - they could use a better name. Hard to talk about this place with the generic name "brew pub": "Hey want to go to the brew pub?" "okay, which one?" "the brew pub" "which one?" ... and so on.
(4)
Ramy M.
Horrible food, this place wants to be a gastropub but falls short on the essentials, good beer and paired food. Sent the IPA as it was the pale ale, fried pickles were nothing but breading. Way better options in downtown Durango, this place is awful!!

Heather Z.
"This is the most ridiculously fucking good Cuban Sandwich I have ever tasted!!" Said my husband. * pause for bite * "God Damn!!" * mouth full and country accent * I can't really add to that. We had tomato bread, a brat sandwich with apple slaw, and this amazing pork belly with apples and carmel!!! The IPA was outstanding and I had amazing Vodka;) We left our heart in Durango!'

Lovely abstract atmosphere and super menu. We had the Greek plate...the cauliflower and the fried chicken. It was all far more interestingly presented and so much more flavorful than can be described. Eat here ! You will not be disappointed.

Very friendly staff, greater when when walked in the door. Sit wherever kind of place. Lianne was a great server, helpful with suggestions and current special. Gwendolyn Barley wine was delishous, hoppy and sweet. Animas Kolsch was also delishous, butter honey type smoothness. Oscar was a good stout, not too bitter. Fried pickles were good, pork belly poppers were better! Great flavor, just the perfect heat. Shared a Cuban sandwich with Colorado fries. The salami that was on the sandwich lent to a slightly bitter funky taste, delish when removed. Colorado fries are awesome, mic and crispy outside and soft in the middle. Several TV's available for sports. We would definitely come back again on another trip!!

Nice trendy look and loved the open window on a beautiful day. Disappointed that they don't serve any bottled domestics since I am not quite as much of a beer tester as my husband and he was hoping for an amber which they didn't brew. Menu is small and unique so struggled a bit with selection. Took some time for our order to arrive but was a nice tasty presentation. Fries were the best we have had. No seasoning was needed.

Staying at Double Tree (Hilton) and decided to check out this place. We ordered pick-up. I ordered the Cuban, which was awesome, with a side of coleslaw... Spicey! Sandwich was great, coleslaw was good. My wife got the Reuben with sweet potato tots. She thought it was delicious! Overall, we definitely recommend this place.

We hit up BREW within the last two weeks for lunch. First Impression: Very bright with large windows. It was also empty. At noon. In downtown Durango, on a Wednesday. We were the two customers present. There was a guy who came in later and sat at the bar. We sampled a few beers. Craft beers. You either like them, or you don't. We ordered 3 food items: Pork Belly jalapeño poppers to share, I got the Cubano Sandwich, and she got the Pulled Pork Sandwich. 1: The Poppers: $9 dollars for "Meh". The "stuffing" (it's really a topping because these peppers are split-open and topped, not "stuffed" as described on their menu) is quite bland. The only saving grace for this dish is the pico de gallo that comes on the plate. It gives a little of the much missing flavor, but as a whole, this item fails to live up to it's potential. Two stars, at best. 2. The Cubano: A previous post commented about the turkey on the Cuban. There is no turkey on a Cubano Sandwich. This was a respectable sandwich. The pork was tasty, along with the ham, cheese, pickles and mustard. It was not heat-pressed as a Cubano should be, so its not really a cubano sandwich. There is something beautiful and tasty that happens to these ingredients when they are put in a sandwich press. It's a 3 star sandwich as is, but would get more stars if prepared correctly. 3. Pulled Pork Sammy: I only sampled this item. The pulled pork was respectable, and the spicy slaw is quite tasty. In fact, I want a bowl of that spicy slaw. Sell me the slaw! Thats 5-star slaw! Gimme some! The slaw is not an item available for purchase on the menu. It was fun watching her eat that sandwich. "Oh thats hot!". Her only complaint was "too much bun", but she scraped the pork and slaw out onto the plate and finished that off. Last Call: Meh. It's not bad, its not great. If you are a fan of their beers, you will eat something. If you are not a fan of their brew (or can't drink on your lunch break) you won't go in just for the food because there are better food options nearby. This explains the empty restaurant during lunch hour.

Nachos were great, rest of dinner and beer ok quality, but the gravy covered fries were atrocious, lumpy and nasty. I cannot speak for the rest of the service, but our waitress was inattentive and scatter-brained. We had to ask several times to get the same drink. I think she is what happens when you legalize pot.

Stopped in on the way to Denver. The jalapeño Popper's were quite a treat. Not your every day popper! No bread, just jalapeño cut in half and stuffed. Muy bueno. The Cobb salad was also very good. Right next to the train station. A definite stop for those on the way to Silverton.

Guess what. They don't actually allow dogs in the pub but he did have a special pup-brella that he put on the railing outside of the open window where we were sitting and that made all of us happy and shady. The food was unusual and totally yummy and the beer was spot on. Super friendly in the pub and on the phone when I called about our dog. You guys get an extra star for that.

I love the beer here. This is a town of a LOT of breweries and it's keeping up with the other great beer. The great thing is it is the ONLY brewery in town with food this good, good prices and awesome location. I'm not sure how they will expand someday but they will have to. Soooo, we had shishitos, pulled mozz, med plate. Beer I had was the Jolene, bf had the Jane. Enjoy!

When you're a vegetarian who can't eat tomatoes, finding tasty, relatively healthy food is a cause for celebration. BREW gastropub was definitely a celebration worthy experience. Nice background music so you can still have a conversation, tasty food, good service, what more could you ask for? And at a reasonable price? We'll be back for sure!

Friday Night, they sat my party of 10 with no wait! We walked down to Steamworks first and there was a 2 1/2 hour wait. Whoa. This place has a great variety of house brews, all named after people, and all delicious! We tried light, dark, brown and barleywine, all great! They have a full bar and guest beers and cider, if beer isn't your thing. The food was stellar. The burgers, the fried chicken, the salads, the beets, the hand-pulled mozzerella, the soup and the quesadillas! Every single thing that came to the table was outstanding. It was close to the hotel and a great tourist stop. Close to the Polar Express train station and family and/or kid friendly!

This was such a neat little pub. We drove into Durango and were in need of a quick bite. Since I am expecting, I stayed clear of the beers. However, my husband had a Martin, which he really liked. The bartender was very friendly, and told about how this particular brew pub was the "black sheep" of the breweries since it changed out their selection often. When my husband was done with the Martin, the bartender suggested another brew, and brought over a sample. We also ordered food. First, we had fried pickles to start. The batter was delicious, but a bit too greasy. We substituted the house spicy aioli with ranch - it just had a strange taste. I ordered their harvest salad, which had a feature item of butternut squash. However, I was told the kitchen was out of squash, so I asked for avocado instead. The salad was tasty! I loved getting some fresh greens after a long trip. My husband opted for the brewery staple: hot wings and fries. He loved the hot wings, however the fries were a little interesting. The fries came topped with chicken gravy with shredded pork. A bit of an odd mix, and it made the fries very soggy. That may be some people's thing, but it was not ours. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was very nice. Overall, worth the stop in for some food, brews, and the introduction to our weekend in Durango.

Nice atmosphere. We came during happy hour and I tried each of the homebrews (no food). The pilsner and the wheat were great, the barelywine--not so much. We didn't eat, but the menu looked diverse and interesting.

(5)Greg A.
Nice surprise. Great beer, food was also very good, especially the Quesadilla, which was high quality and huge. Our server was a great guy, who was really into brewing beer (I forgot his name) but really made us feel welcome, which isn't always easy when you are traveling with kids who are tired.
(4)Jeff N.
We had a good experience at Brew. Tasty food and a good pint of beer was a great way to do up some dinner. The staff was friendly and the food was well presented and delicious. The seat by the window was great as we got to watch world go by as we dined.
(4)Karen E.
(4)Judy L.
Roasted cauliflower was excellent as was the Brewben. The sweet potato tater tots were good but a bit too sweet. Try the Tess beer. Fantastic if you like a porter type beer. I just wish the cauliflower came as an appetizer.
(4)Robin S.
(4)Yanhua P.
We arrived too late to order food, so we did a pint of brew only. The staffs at the counter were very helpful. This is a large restaurant with windows open almost to the floor, and it is a block away from the rail station. The beer we order was good. This is definitely on our list next time we are in town.
(4)Howie K.
(4)Jim B.
This is the only place I've EVER not finished a beer. Just didn't taste right/good. Service was bad also. Crew had a team meeting right by our table discussing the need to sell more appetizers. Yet we never actually even had a server. Which made it easy to sneak away (after we paid of course)
(2)Michael S.
Dropped in for a fun and simple family dinner and loved everything we had, from the burger to the poppers to the southwest ravioli special. Fantastic service, low-key vibe, and incredible food. We'll go back every time were in DGO. Highly recommended.
(5)Jeannie Q.
We loved the food and the atmosphere in this place! The open front wall was great on such a nice day! The staff was really welcoming and accommodating, especially with what comes along with serving a family with a young child. We will definitely go back!
(5)Aaron P.
(4)Bob L.
(5)Eric L.
(5)Ty F.
(2)Jennifer d.
Yummm! The seabass is to die for! They make it with a special fish broth that ridiculously good! staff was on top of everything and super friendly. .. highly recommended
(5)Sam P.
The place is overall ok. There aren't many non alcoholic drinks and there is a very limited menu. The fried pickles are spectacular though. I don't understand how the place is set up because there are flour bags floating on the ceiling. The food is good though. Very very long time to get food. The place is truly in the middle.
(3)Frank K.
Great place, great food, Cecilia tasted great, Jackson our waiter was friendly and efficient, in other words the whole experience was 5 star.
(5)C D.
Food was excellent. The beer - not so much. I tried 3 and wasn't impressed with any of them. If you're looking for great bar food though, this is the place. Great location and excellent service as well. Would go again.
(4)Dan S.
Nice, nice all around between the staff, food and beer. Highly recommended for a nice atmosphere and good food.
(4)Morgan M.
(5)Judy K.
(5)Karen R.
Giving them a "5" just for the most awesome short ribs ever (Beer Glazed Short Ribs). Wow! And the Shishito peppers were perfectly grilled with just the right amount of salt and oil. Good house beers and good guest taps, too.
(5)Sara W.
(4)Tony S.
(4)Phyllis D.
(2)Amber N.
Excellent choice of craft beers. Food... Not so good. For sure not the best Cubano I've had. Turkey seemed gray. Ham was too dry. Dijon was just overwhelming. Amazing service though.
(3)Matt H.
(2)s d.
Good beers. Had the stout on nitro n pale ale. Decent location close to main ave.
(4)Kari P.
(5)Matthew B.
I had the pork belly poppers. They consisted of jalapeño peppers cut in half, seedless with a cream cheese filling and bits of pork belly. This item was tasty and spicy but not too spicy. I would recommend this appetizer.
(4)Paul S.
Just terrific. Great food, great vibe, great service, great drinks and beer. Can't go wrong here no matter what you're looking for.
(4)Cyndi J.
(5)Rebecca C.
Ate at BREW upon arrival in Durango last night. Super friendly service!! Food was excellent. We tried the Brewtine fries, the corned beef hash, and a Cubano sandwich. All were excellent, fresh ingredients in everything. Would definitely highly recommend!!
(5)Kara H.
(4)Kerry S.
This place is sweet. Their beer is good. The bourbon barrel imperial on is great! The food is yummy here, and it is just steps away from the railroad. The atmosphere is inviting and colorful.
(5)Tammy E.
Went there with kids yesterday. Staff was super friendly! Fantastic food, loved the fried pickles and pesto chicken sandwich. Kids begging to go back, they loved the kid food too. We liked the beer as well, our favorite was the Keller.
(5)Chad B.
Got ignored by the bartender a lot, but everything we needed was brought out to us, so I'm good. Descent beers, and really good Cubano sandwich. The sweet potato tots were awesome too! Just wish their was some personality behind the bar.
(4)Samantha V.
(5)Timothy A.
(4)Kei L.
Excellent food. Fried chicken is fantastic and the tomato relish really adds a great kick. Bread side was great. Beer is average but overall great place. Other dishes of note are excellent; Cubano (try with tomato relish), hamburger and fried pickles.
(4)Jason S.
Hard to talk about this place with the generic name "brew pub": "Hey want to go to the brew pub?" "okay, which one?" "the brew pub" "which one?" ... and so on.
(4)Ramy M.
Horrible food, this place wants to be a gastropub but falls short on the essentials, good beer and paired food. Sent the IPA as it was the pale ale, fried pickles were nothing but breading. Way better options in downtown Durango, this place is awful!!
(1)Heather Z.
(5)Lacey G.
Great food! The plate of nachos was huge! Everyone else in my group loved what they ordered as well.
(5)J J.
Lovely abstract atmosphere and super menu. We had the Greek plate...the cauliflower and the fried chicken. It was all far more interestingly presented and so much more flavorful than can be described. Eat here ! You will not be disappointed.
(5)Natalie C.
(4)Kerrie F.
(3)J L.
Food was delicious! We had 2 young children and it was kid friendly. Also had great service.
(4)Daniel M.
(4)Freddy S.
(2)Inez P.
tasty food and great service. French fries with vegetarian gravy were awesome. their ranch is the best I've had!
(5)Sunlite23 S.
First time, got the Ruben. It was awesome! Good beer, good service. Kid friendly. I'll be back!
(4)E R.
(2)Stan H.
(4)Robin W.
(5)Dawn S.
Enjoy!
(5)Deborah S.
(5)Sean H.
This place is amazing!!! Each beer is well crafted and the food is all amazing. We had the ravioli special topped with pork. This place defiantly a must try.
(5)Bailey C.
