West End rocks! Great selection of beer, great service, cool patio when the weather let's you get out to use it. Good quality food. I like it a -l lot!

This place needs a new manager or something.. Really good food/ Decent Beer List/ Cool spot for sure. Really busy... the service is absolutely horrid!! We waited 10 minutes on back patio before anyone even showed up? Like one waitress working the whole back patio, maybe 2? Bad business, people don't put up with that bs! She knew she gave horrible service and kept saying "Happy 4th of July" over and over to make up for it!! Hilarious.. staffed properly this could be a really great place- get dat did

Been here 3 times now. I think I am finished with this one. The Food: Mostly ok, but generic offering and overpriced. I have had the burger twice, which is good, and the fish and chips which was pretty gross. The fish and chips was soggy and pretty luke warm when it got to the table. By the time I was finished eating it, it was cold. It also had this sauce on it that was tasteless and sticky. The fries have been soggy every time they have come out, tasting like they have been sitting under heat lamp in a bowl for an hour. The Service: This is what really brings this down to 1 star for me. Every time I have been here things have been forgotten on food or added to the check without ordering it. I have had to ask every time I need a refill on water or if I need condiments or silverware. One of these times I was sitting at the bar, and who I later found out was one of the owners, would barely even acknowledge my existence. Instead, he found it more fun to talk to a buddy about sports. This was shortly after they opened and it was empty when this happened as well. The Atmosphere: Kind of ok....just kind of generic. It looks like they tried to do something cool and different, but instead just took inspiration from well designed restaurants and just missed the mark. West End Tap House is kind of like your friend who follows all the trends, but you can just tell is faking it and you just wish he would be himself.

This was the first restaurant we checked out as we just moved to town and we couldn't be happier! The beer menu was extensive and the food menu was short but tasty. The staff was out-going and friendly and had plenty of suggestions. We settled on a marinated portabello sandwich and a burger with an order of fries (the sauces for the fries are amazing). The sandwiches were large and filling. In fact we went back this week and ordered the same things again (yup, they're that good). This is a great place to go with friends or by yourself to sit at the bar. There is also a beautiful outdoor area outback, perfect for enjoying some brews this summer!

Great beer menu and awesome food. Try the Reverend Bomber and Brussel sprouts appetizer .

A year later . . . Prices are now competitive and more attenuated to the market. Food is still great. Prices haven't dropped on the food side. Waitstaff continues to improve. Cocktails still need work. My old fashioned was over muddled and cloudy with orange peel. Seating is still the major issue as their is no hostess so trying to find a seat can be a pain. All in all, as the beerlist improves and as their waitstaff continues to learn and grow with the environment, I think this place can still move up a bit more.

This was the post-kickball game meeting spot one Friday evening based on the recommendation of teammates. I'd never been, but am familiar with the area so figured it'd be worth a visit. WETH has a really cool layout, both inside and out. It's open-air indoor space (if you can picture that) was kind of nature-y and dreamy all at once (low lights, wood tables). The back patio space was even better: cozy couch areas next to more informal community benches. This was the perfect setting for winding down after a monumental victory (where we won by like, one point or something). The beer list, while not the most substantial I've seen, definitely had good variety and something for er'body. Draft to bottle to can, they also offered a selection of wines if someone isn't really feeling beer. Their food menu left something to be desired, I felt. I didn't eat dinner this particular game night; I wasn't really wanting a full meal, but I was also hoping for something a little more substantial than "Belgian Fries" (which myself and another Yelper decided were pretty reminiscent of Burger King fries). Alas, I went with the fries because I didn't want a sandwich and in terms of vegetarian small plates, it was either another fried option or cheese. Glorious. I selected the Horseradish Mayo with my fries, which was good, but I vote it needs more Horseradish. I like that kick, and it just didn't have enough of it (IMO). Others around us ordered the funnel cake fries, the tempeh burger (which I will definitely be back to try), and the soup of that day. All reports were positive. I requested regular ketchup for the fries but never got it from the server. She also randomly put my fries and drink on another couple's tab, so that was kind of strange. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt because we had several separate tabs and people coming and going but... I really could have used some ketchup. She was very friendly regardless. In general, I think WETH is a great space, and one I'll be back to for sure. Its vibe is casual but still nice, and I think a happy hour here would be most enjoyable. There are several good spots all in this general vicinity, but I think this place's back patio really sets it apart from some of the others. Good beer, good fries (Burger King-ish or not), good company -- in all a winning combination.

After attending an Ignite event at the Oriental Theatre, the after-party moved its way down Tennyson to West End Tap House. And since I wanted to continue the party, I decided to join and check this place out. I immediately loved the vibe! Cool and sheek with a modern feeling, but still warm enough to be welcoming. Because the night was too beautiful to be sitting indoors, we all headed toward the back patio, which is full of long picnic tables under twinkling lights. I could sit out here all night enjoying good company and good drinks! The beer list here is pretty average. Which is not to say it's bad by any means, they've just got your regular Colorado brews as well as the standard light beers for the undeveloped beer palates. So overall, you'll find something you'll enjoy imbibing. I didn't have a chance to try the food but the small menu looks tempting and reasonable! I'll certainly be back to investigate. I really dug West End. Friendly service with an awesome atmosphere, indoors and out on the patio. Definitely a great addition to the Tennyson area! Who wants to make a return visit with me?
(4)Helen M.
Love the place! Cool atmosphere, cozy outside ambiance, tons of specials....will have to try the food next time...we'll be back for sure!
(5)Kendall S.
Went here for HH with a girlfriend tonight, and WOW was I impressed! The small plates were top-notch (especially the bacon-covered dates and the gruyere Mac n' Cheese), the bartenders were incredibly friendly and very attentive (without being suffocating), and the vibe was relaxed and comfortable. What a find-- I will definitely be back!
(5)Luke H.
Love the setup. You can sit at the two layered bar and watch one of the 4 large flat screen tvs, sports bar style, or you can sit at a low table and have dinner by the window.....or you can sit in the half-booths and have a mix of both. They have a touchtunes jukebox, which earns points in my book. Love the menu. It has a mix of regulars (burgers, fries, salads) and cool items (brussel sprouts, mac-n-cheese, brats, etc...). Love the taps. They have a mix of hard to find local beers on tap and in the bomber bottles, plus they have some of the trusty macro options. I hope they continue to expand on the local beers, but their current list is a good start.
(5)Kyle S.
Stopped in here for a Saturday evening dinner with the girlfriend. Honestly food should have been better than it was, it was kinda average but for a restaurant that is trying to portray a fancy vibe, it should have been much better. The food was on par with average bar food, nothing special. Had the burger, short rib sandwich and fries for reference.

20DEC2014 Had a very relaxing dinner. Good beer and tasty burgers. Cooked as requested. Perfect service from our waitron. FYI - Happy Hour ends at 1800 on Saturday. 22MAR2013 Opening day. + Beer list. Good for a bar. It is not a "beer fanatic" list, but is very acceptable. + Staff. Very friendly. + Sound attenuation in the ceiling. Decorative wood baffles. + Philips Hue lighting. meethue.com/en-US + The future patio in the back. 20x20 with sun-setting warmth. This is going to suck in so many people in warmer months.. + Happy Hour. 1500-1900. Every day. + (18APR2013) Burger and fries. Very good. - Artwork. None. - Not open for lunch. - 5 TVs. I hate TVs. This place is going to be a huge success.
(4)Kate N.
This is my favorite date night bar! The bartenders are very knowledgeable and are very interested in educating guests about their great booze. They make an amazing manhattan! The food is also really good although there aren't too many options for non- (red) meat eaters. The service can be a bit slow (especially if you're on the back patio) so I recommend sitting at the bar.
(4)Jeanette B.
Love the atmosphere here--the indoor area has garage doors that open up providing fresh air and is great for watching the sporting event du jour. The patio however is where it's at! Comfy couches and picnic tables under a string-light lined canopy--it's the perfect spot for enjoying a cool spring/summer/fall evening. Food and beverages: nice variety, but a little pricey for pub food. Beer battered shrimp were delish. Burger was good, French fries not amazing (and I am a sucker for sauces). But, in truth, the atmosphere and friendly service more than made up for the extra bucks we shelled out on the bill. We will be back without a doubt.
(4)sharon t.
Ok I've been there three times now and I'm sure I'll return since it's walking distance, but I have to say if your not a regular expect sporadic feelings of welcome. Good for your home not so much for a bar. I will admit I'm probably older than the regular visitor but I don't like being made to feel invisible. It's rough enough going somewhere as an old lady don't make it worse. On a positive note the burger was very good, the half order of fries is appreciated and rockies games on the tube is great
(3)Kit M.
Could you ask for a better bar on Tennyson than this? Not only is it an OUTSTANDING place to enjoy a Bronco game, but the back patio is magic and comfort all rolled in one. Amazing beer selection, great menu. If you've never been here, go!
(5)john W.
One of my new favorite things in the Highlands! The owner is a great guy, the beer selection top notch. Bonus point for having Prost Brewing, which is just awesome as I love them! we were there post dinner, so I haven't tried the food, but the menu looked awesome.
(4)Julie H.
If you could open a bar, this is the bar you would open. Great taps with local awesomeness. Something for everyone when it come to beer along with a solid selection of cocktails. Then there is the environment. The amazing ceiling art or the lighting that is in process of being enhanced. I cannot wait for this back patio. Our local tap house owners have their hearts in our super-duper trendy neighborhood and are listening. The large bar and garage windows are sure to make this a solid Tennyson hot spot. The crowd was warm and interactive, yet they seemed to slip away when our conversation turned private. THANK YOU (insert higher power here) they have food... and great food. Everyone around us was ordering the mac n cheese. They were loving it and devouring it quickly. Then I realized there was a burger, elk sausage and short ribs on the menu. We wanted to try them all along with the brussels sprouts. We shared a gang of the food. I kind of hogged the sprouts as they were perfectly cooked and decedent with caramelized onions and panchetta. Our neighbors were in love with the frites and various dipping options for them. All that was left on the plates was the majority of the bun served with the sausage. BUT I kept nibbling pieces of it because it was soft but crisp on the outside. Lets just be clear, W.E.T.H. knows how to feed us. Longer story short, Im looking forward to the summer at West End Tap.
(5)Melissa H.
Lots of great beers, and if you aren't in the mood for beer, there's wine! West End has a great space that is perfect for summer drinking. In addition they don't have your typical beer/bar menu either. Read the other accurate positive reviews and definitely add West End to your weekend brewery tour list!
(4)Scott H.
Decent food. Very expensive beers. Had an avery beer in a very small glass and was 7.00!! Service was ok... Dinner for 3 was almost $100....... for burgers and salads Not worth the price. ..

Stopped by here last weekend while out with my wife and kids. It did not disappoint! The beer selection was fantastic, from the many craft brews that you cannot find anywhere else, to the mainstream players, and the food was even better. My wife had a chicken fajita melt and I had the strip steak sandwich - both were over the top! My kids enjoyed the macaroni and cheese, and we all loved the fries and many different sauces (gotta try the sriracha lime). While the food and beer selection was great, the atmosphere was just as good. The bartenders and wait staff were friendly, inviting and attentive. I highly recommend trying this place for the food, the drink, and the company. Great spot on Tennyson!
(5)Debbie L.
Randomly stopped in while passing through Arvada and so glad I did! The bartender was super friendly and helpful, and the skirt steak sandwich was awesome. Good beer selection and knowledgeable staff made for an overall great experience.
(4)Peter P.
We stopped in after a Bronco's game a few weeks ago. The food was fantastic. I had a burger. My girlfriend had the fish and chips (which she loved). We relaxed and watched the Sunday night football game. It was great! We will be back soon.
(4)Kate B.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a fun spot tonight, not too pricy, with good drink and food at a later hour of the night. New to the area we relied on yelp. So glad we stopped here! Our server, Alisha, came over right away. She greeted us with a friendly smile and instantly told us about great beer specials when she saw our interest in the beer menu. Our drinks came promptly and upon her return she recommended the lambsicles and we decided to order those as well as the Belgian fries with a roasted garlic aioli. Everything was delicious!! The lamb was cooked medium rare to medium, loaded with flavor! The fries were great! Not overly salty or greasy. I wish we had room for more, but we were just hanging out for a late night snack. Alisha continued to be attentive and accommodating thru our visit, and also told us about upcoming events. We will certainly be returning to try more of the menu and hope to find more staff as kind and accommodating as her!
(5)Sally B.
Beat neighborhood bar I've been to in God knows how long!!! FANTASTIC service, FANTASTIC (and not just the normal and expected crap) food, and owners & staff that actually care and remember you! It's refreshing to know you can still find neighborhood gems like this still exist...
(5)Ryan V.
I stepped into the West End Tap House not expecting much, just a neighborhood bar pouring drinks. Man was I wrong. They had great food and the co-owner Kurt talked whiskeys with me for 45 minutes and loved every minute of it. Im from out of town and whenever I come back I will definitely come back here. Good dudes doing great things.
(4)Jasmine C.
I am sad to say I am done giving this place my business. As a heads up - this review is only about their burgers. The first time we came was around a year ago and we met the owner. He told us all about the amazing local juicy burgers and he was right, the burger was amazing. We went back shortly after and I couldn't believe the burger we got. It was very dry and very tough, absolutely nothing like the first burger. So disappointed. We waited a long time and we back over the summer and the burger was good again, more like the first one. We went back tonight, the 4th visit, and the burger was one of the worst driest and toughest burgers I've had. In addition, I ordered it medium-rare each and every time! (Of course the funny thing is that the times when the burgers have been bad, they never actually cooked it medium-rare, it always comes medium-well). Obviously the standards are not consistent; they need to serve the same fresh burger every day of the week.

A very cool, classy, casual atmosphere -- the 3 C's needed for a bar/restaurant to succeed in Denver. West End Tap House is a GREAT addition to Tennyson Street and the entire neighborhood reminds me a bit of Echo Park in LA. This is the perfect place to meet friends for drinks and a bite to eat, and it's my new favorite stop in the neighborhood (sorry Hops & Pie). It has huge TV's for sports, yet it's not a sports bar --- it's cooler than that, and the service is top notch. You can tell the owner and staff really care about their customers. And the food? I'm not a fry guy, but damn -- you gotta check out the funnel fries and/or the other selection of gourmet fries with various inventive dipping sauces. Personally, the grilled cheese with bacon is my favorite dish, but I've also checked out the burger selection and the other small plates and they look incredibly tasty and original. Overall, West End Tap House is EXACTLY what this Upper Highlands neighborhood needed. I highly recommend W.E.T.H.
(5)heather s.
I've been here a couple times now. Once for drinking and another for food and drinks. Both times the service was prompt, friendly and helpful with menu options. The wings looked AH-mazing though no one at our table ordered them. The burgers were great and just as ordered. My friend enjoyed her Ahi Tuna also. My likely insignificant favorite part? All the different fry dipping sauces! Heaven for this girl who is always making her own dipping sauces. The only thing I didn't like was they didn't have a mixed drink menu. That's not their fault so much. I suck at ordering mixed drinks and prefer ordering them based on their menu description. Definitely a place to revisit!
(4)Tracie B.
My boyfriend and I, Greg, love the the West End Tap House. When we walk in, they call us by name and have our drinks ready when we sit down. They really treat us like family.. Kurt and Steve, the owners, are great and the bar staff is second to none. We love our neighborhood watering hole.
(5)Vivek G.
Good enough drinks on the tap, great fries! Yummy Sriracha lime sauce! Great alternative to any bar downtown- easy parking, Tennyson's cute, fun and hep.
(4)Paul L.
This has been a great addition to Tennyson! Definitely try the fries and assorted sauces. Beers on tap are always rotating and staff is very friendly and has great recommendations.
(5)Kate T.
I love this place, especially their spectacular patio. The food is delicious, the beer selection is great, and the cocktails are nice for a sunny day spent out back. The atmosphere is fun and lively, can be a bit crowded sometimes because it is so popular but that is my only complaint. It is in a great neighborhood on Tennyson and is a fun local bar to hang out with friends. Highly recommend!
(4)Kathy G.
I've only been here twice.... both times in the same week! I LOVE this place! The service was phenomenal. The food was great. I had a burger the first time (sorry bad with names) and had the Mac and cheese & the brussels sprouts the second time. Awesome selection of beers on tap! They have a nice bar at front! But don't forget to go outside their back patio. I can't wait to try another dish next time!
(5)Judy B.
This place is douche nation. But the beer selection is good and the fries are killer. Great patio in the summer. Get the fucking brussel sprouts.
(4)victoria r.
This is a great place for drinks in a great location. They have a top notch beer selection and great variety of craft beer. I would give it 5 stars for just the bar and atmosphere but their food on the other hand...not so much. I was really hoping to love this place but after trying nearly everything on the menu I can say the food is quite a disappointment. Lackluster flavor and 75% of the time it comes out cold.
(3)Courtney B.
Delicious food! I got the appetizer of bacon wrapped dates, and had a beer. the service was friendly and while the prices are rather steep, the food and service didn't disappoint.
(4)Brad H.
We rarely go in this spot, blah food and medium prices drinks. Nothing bad about it and I had read about their beer patio which if you're looking for a patio to drink out on head to local 46 cause this is a pile compared to that. 3 stars sums this spot up perfectly.
(3)Amy T.
Yeah I would say I am defiantly a fan, and that I am looking forward to going back with my husband. Atmosphere- I liked the open windows that look out toward Tennyson Street. Looked like a well stocked bar with cool lighting, more like a club than a bar? Nice, clean high tops that would be nice to have happy hour at. Food- The menu was limited but everything we had was great! I really enjoyed the waitresses sirracha lime dipping sauce recommendation! Thoroughly enjoyed the funnel cake fries however I would like to try them with chocolate or maple syrup instead of honey... Great patio with awesome lighting, Looking forward to my next visit!
(4)Meg B.
When I am in the area visiting I love going to West End. As a vegetarian the food selection is smaller for me, however the food I've ordered has been delicious, especially the mac and cheese!. The staff and atmosphere are friendly and fun!
(5)L W.
Visited here on a recent business trip with a co-worker. Love the decor and roll up garage door windows. I heard the patio would be opening on 5/31. The service was excellent as was the food! We tried: the onion rings with chipotle mayo (you choose the sauce)-yum! Medjool Dates: Chorizo stuffed, Wrapped in Bacon--yum! Ham and Cheese Croquettes: Pancetta, White Cheddar--- yummy and filling! Jalapeno Cheddar Elk Brat: Has a kick but very flavorful! Short Rib BBQ Sandwich:yummy! Neither of us are beer drinkers (go figure!)-- but they have a large selection--- I tried the Hard Apple Cider and it was great!
(5)Marcia D.
Quickly becoming a favorite- great menu! Locally sourced meats- Continental Meats. Always great service from Mikey and Matthew. A wonderful addition to Tennyson!
(5)Amy J.
Love. Love. Love. LOVE! Get the Brussel sprouts and make sure sweet potato fries with their multiple sauces. Yum! Great patio, very down to earth vine. Nice addition to Tennyson and I just know they'll be around for a long time. Staff is amazing as well.
(5)SnowChik B.
Great beers! Good HH spot :) awesome bartenders
(5)Monica E.
The good: The beer selection is great... tons to offer- although there was not a beer special when we went on Sunday :( Wine list looked great as well. Food was fresh and they offered Colorado natural beef. There were lots of great looking food on the menu. The bad: Expensive for the portion. I'm not big on large portions but everything was an add-on and it got expensive fast. While the food was fresh, it was just ok... nothing to write home about. The Belgium fries were so-so, as was the funnel cake fires. I would pay $9.00 for a hamburger with a quarter pickle to only then pay an extra $2.00 for cheese and $2.50 something for fries ($1.00 per sauce, not including ketchup). Since I went on a First Friday- I can't say much about the crowd but on that night it was a bit clubby, but that could be due to the music that was chosen from the electronic jukebox. This is a small, stupid thing but there are two bathrooms, both co-ed. I hate that for the sole reason that men often pee on the seat... gross. I live and own in the neighborhood and would love to see business do well here. I was told it was their "soft-opening" so hopefully they will be able to work out some of the kinks. I miss the Comfort Cafe that was there previously.
(2)Rob B.
Two lifer bartenders strike out on their own and the results are fantastic. Yes, I gush when i like a place and this place is gushtastic. The aforementioned owners are the kind of guys that you want to see succeed and I don't think that'll be a problem. I feel similarly about this place to how I felt when Hops and Pie opened. In fact, it's hard to avoid comparing the two. The truth is, while I love H+P, this place covers more bases for me. It's just more balanced and friendly to those of us that want something comfortable and cozy serving great beer and food - without the how-many-IB-units can-you-fit-in-your-beer-before-it-explodes fanboyism happening across the street. The space is ample but not setup for anything but sitting, eating and drinking. There wont be any of my beloved pinball in here but that's fine as the setup is so comfortable, you're happy just to hang out. Great work West End, welcome to the neighborhood.
(4)Kate G.
This place, like De Steeg down the street, is a place I would have killed for when I lived a few blocks away. At that time, the other options were nowhere near as appealing as this place is. They were too big, too dark, too empty, too loud, too tv-focused or too slanted toward one theme or one type of food. I've been here twice this week, and am happy to live on the west side of town so I can be a frequent visitor. The beer list, both draft and bottled/canned, is awesome! The wine list is also decent (though it would be cool to have someone local like Bonacquisti to show some neighborhood love) and local spirits fill the bar. At happy hour (3-7pm daily), local beers, spirits and their house red and white wines are a buck off (so $6 for those wines, and served stemless) and PBR and Coors drafts are $2. I looooove the open garage doors and can't wait until they open up their planned patio out back. The flatscreen tvs are not obtrusive at all. The custom wood tables inside and rustic paneling outside are totally up my alley as well as the funky ceiling baffling, cool color-changing pendant lighting and plentiful exposed beams, brick and ducting. Last night I tried their food menu. Our table shared the jalapeno cheddar elk brat ($8), portobello burger with goat cheese ($9), truffle mac and cheese ($9) and the Belgian fries ($4.75) with two dipping sauces (+$1 parmesan peppercorn and horseradish aioli) from their extensive housemade list. All were delicious but I especially love being able to order a big portion of fries because many times I am just in the mood for those and not the burger (though the portobello burger was delicious). Our huge bowl of perfectly cooked fries was easily shared between 4. The menu has a bunch of my other favorite foods like a grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough with gruyere and white cheddar (no swiss, yay!) for $7, brussels sprouts with lardons ($7), burger ($9), sweet potato fries, popcorn ($3.50), onion rings and salads you can add things like ahi, tempeh or portobellos to. Lots of stuff that could be shared and snacked on - both healthy and of the fried variety depending on mood. Every server and waitress I've encountered has been super friendly. If last night was any indication, especially after narrowly missing running into our old neighbors, this place is going to be packed daily throughout the summer and hopefully all year, and that's just what this neighborhood needs. I enjoyed it for a quiet, casual beer the other night and I enjoyed the hoppin'-yet-mellow vibe and energy and sunshine last night. What a great new spot!
(5)Kate D.
Glad to see this new addition to the Berkeley neighborhood! The atmosphere is relaxed yet clean and polished and the food and beer are top notch. I just wish they had a little better selection of beer, but it is definitely not your run of the mill bar choices. The food is great also. Be sure not to miss the funnel cake fries. Hands down one of the best food inventions ever that leaves you thinking why wasn't this created sooner? Can't wait to come back and check out your patio soon!
(4)Keith N.
I like everything about this place except the ice they use in their drinks. Crushed ice. Tiny little ice fragments that fit together in your glass like a jigsaw puzzle... filling up all of the space where the actual beverage should be. One sip, two sips, three sips... oh look my vodka/soda is gone. Guess I'll have to order another? This seems like a fantastic way for the bar to make more money. Not my money, but someones.
(2)Antoinette D.
The atmosphere is hip-- nice for a young crowd. The food was alright for the prices. We had the Mac & Cheese appetizer and it wasn't the greatest and far too expensive, but the main meal was tasty enough. The wait staff was snooty and unfriendly for a Saturday night.
(3)Ethan N.
This restaurant was over priced and under whelming. The skirt steak sandwich had a large chucks of gristle and was $12 with out a side. For Denver the draft beer selection was mediocre, I expected more for the area. With all the good selection and service in Denver why settle for mediocre.
(2)Justin H.
Love this place. The owners are great guys. They're two service industry bartender vets that turned their dreams into a reality by opening their own place. They didn't mess around either. They have an amazing location, great food, a unique tap beer selection with rotating seasonal deliciousness, and a great ambiance. The bartenders rock. Be sure to try the Elk Chili if it's on the menu. Also, a great place to watch any sporting events.
(5)Lisa O.
A cool, modern, clean, friendly bar, which was greatly needed on the antique-y Tennyson Street. The beers are great, the bartenders are cute and friendly, and the menu looked great, although I didn't eat there. I like short menus with all good stuff, so you can't go wrong. It reminded me of the Denver Beer Co. Can't wait to go back!
(4)justin m.
I'll keep it short. This place is nice, and a good place to kick it with a friend. They have good beers, not sure if they have a happy hour or drink specials. Nicer than a sports bar, but lots of flat screens. They have club music on, a bit strange, but not that annoying. The food is okay, not spectacular. They seem to nickle and dime you for everything, like additional money for cheese on the burger, or extra for more fry sauce. The fry sauce is excellent, but all in I think I paid 15 bucks for a burger and fries. It's really crowded and not sure if that's because it is brand new or not. I would say this is a good option for something easy, but I won't be a regular here.
(3)Geoff D.
Second time coming here. The first time was fun. I dont know if the bartender had a bad night or just didn't feel like being friendly but she spent more time on her phone than with me the only customer sitting at the bar. Don't go on Tuesday nights

I really want to be able to give this a better review, but a few things are just "off". The location is great, always good to see a new option in the hood! The space is nice, the beer list is great and the food is okay. The major downfall here is the ambiance. The lighting is cold and when turned down felt more like a club than a tap house and the stark walls combined with the thermostat being way too low made this place feel very unwelcoming and cold. I am hoping they can find a way to warm up the lighting, add a little seasoning to the food and I think they will be on their way to a great neighborhood spot!

We went to the much anticipated West End Tap House last week and loved it. The garage doors were open and the ceiling art is great. The beer selection is really good - probably 30 beers on tap, most from Colorado. Will give free tastes if you're not sure what you want. The menu is short and sweet - they use 100% Colorado beef and have Belgian fries, similar to the place in Arvada with different dipping sauces. We were just in for a couple of beers and snacks so we tried the mac n cheese, which was delicious! Also shared an order of fries with two sauces. Great stuff. Menu items are priced well, especially considering that they try to buy local and use fresh ingredients so you get what you pay for. On top of that, the service was outstanding. They were very attentive, helpful w/ the beer and food choices, and told us a few times how grateful they were to be opening their place in the neighborhood. I have to say it's a great addition to Tennyson. Welcome to the neighborhood West End Tap House!

This 4 star rating is dedicated to the sriracha lime dipping sauce. It is crack for your fries. Don't say I didn't warn you. We can't get enough of their Elk chili which shows up on the menu occasionally. The green chili is also delicious. This place rocks for their beer selection too. They rotate out a lot keeping things new and they also have many great beers from black bottle brewery in Fort Collins.

A friend and I stopped by this place yesterday afternoon. We had beer, fries, and burgers. All of the food was fantastic and service was great! It's a great addition to Tennyson street. I only wish the beer selection was a little bigger. This place is worth checking out!
(4)Sarah M.
Cool place, very swanky, and the vibe is just right! Tia and Bobbi are amazing and took care of me and my friends!
(5)Michael M.
Amazing burger, one of the best in town at any price point. Great beer selection. Friendly and fast service. Come here.
(5)J A.
Recently stopped by on a Sunday afternoon.....food & service sucked. Bartender seemed out of it.....might've been those smoke breaks. Had been here a few times prior with much friendlier service but am over it. Very disappointing.

great bar super nice staff food is kind of meh they were out of some beers when i went. they served me a borderline raw burger which i ordered medium rare (my mistake). service was really good. bottomline; great bar area and patio, very nice service, probably just going to be a driking spot for me in the hood. dont expect much from the food BUT i will give it another try someday

I live just a few blocks from this bar and have never had the chance to check it out so I went for a couple drinks and the service was TERRIBLE. No smiles from the brown haired girl who looked like she was mad I was there, and then the blonde who took my order for a 90 shilling gave me a different beer. She clearly didn't know what I ordered so grabbed the closest thing to what she thought I had wanted like I wouldn't notice I was drinking a different beer. After taking a few sips I noticed and told her I asked for a 90 shilling and she took the beer I had drank out of away from me with out apologizing. She later returned with another beer and when I said I will still drink the beer that she gave me in the first place (since I had already drank out of it) she told me she put it on ice to sell to another customer. That is against health code! Its customary to leave what ever item was a mistake for the patron whether it be food or drink and comp it. I have worked in restaurants for many years in FOH and BOH. I even asked her for it back and she said no. I should have left then but decided to give It one more try so I asked for a very expensive shot of tequila with salt and lime. She forgot the salt. When I finally got her attention, she brought me a pepper shaker, not salt. At this point I thought she was either high or just plain dumb. So I had to get up and look through the server station for the actual salt shaker myself. I checked the name on my ticket and her name was apparently Taylor. I wish this trendy restaurant luck, with servers like Taylor they will need it. Very disappointed.

Good times. Kurt, Steve and the crew are very hospitable. Remembering my name has been quite the personal touch. They were friendly with giving samples and finding a beer to my liking. Would be great to get more spots like this on Tennyson.
(4)Ashley B.
This place is cool and I love that Happy Hour is until 7! Local brews and food is good! Two cons: order a burger and they charge extra for cheese and toppings. And the Mac n Cheese had a little to much truffle oil...was hard to eat. Will definitely be back!

We tried going here a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon stone cold sober... The place was packed, and we managed to find 4 seats on the island bar. The waitress was next to us taking a drink order, and as my girlfriend reached for the menus that were laid out on the table, the waitress snatched them up, glared at us without saying anything, and walked away. We all laughed, got up from our seats and walked out. We were happy to give Patrick Carroll's our business that afternoon. The place looked really sterile anyways, and I'm not a fan of drinking in a doctors office. The patio has great potential. Best of luck to them, but we won't be back anytime soon.

First time here, swung by for drinks whilst waiting for our reservation at another restaurant. This place has a pretty extensive beer selection, however, my husband and I were pretty familiar with about 90% of the beers that they offered. The good: Met with the owner (Kurt?) had a few conversations about the place with him and could definitely sense his passion for the WETH. He explained to us the unique ceiling architecture and really took the time to bring us into the WETH vision. He went over the menu, the chef's credentials, as well as the upcoming changes to the place. Overall, he made us feel so welcome and willing to try anything on the menu! The eh's: Ordered the stuffed dates as a starter. Since we were in a rush, and after we spoke with the owner, we were wanting to try a little something of the menu and settled on the chorizo stuffed, bacon wrapped, dates. Let me just start by saying that the dates themselves were a 10. We're taking amaze, keep 'em comin' good. I could've eaten a mountain of those savory, salty morsels of tasty goodness. The only unfortunate part of this foodie dream was the portion. It was 7.5 for the dish and this included 3 dates and a small portion of some arugula salad. I am familiar of the cost of the ingredients so I know that this place must be making a KILLING off of selling this crack-like appetizers. I really wish that there would've been a few more to even out the price.
(4)Tracie B.
Great location, atmosphere and service. Very good bar and drinks menu. $4 draft beers during happy hour. Love the garage door openings - perfect on a warm evening. NIce addition to Tennyson Street.
(4)Briana G.
This place has good food and a good atmosphere, but the service is terrible. We went there tonight and ordered a beer, 30 minutes later, we still hadn't seen our server since we ordered the beer. We wanted to eat but left because of terrible service. We even heard her get snotty with the table next to us. They asked her a question and she told them to just look at the menu then walked away. We left and didn't eat there tonight. We tried it before and liked the food with okay service. After our experience tonight our likelihood of coming back or recommending is low. Don't waste your time, cause it will take a lot of time to accomplish anything here.
(2)Chris S.
Try the portabella mushroom sandwich. Yum.
(4)Haley M.
All I can say is FUNNEL CAKE FRIES!!! I also really liked the beer cheese! Go for the small plates and try a few things.
(4)Ted W.
Good beers at a reasonable price, and a straightforward burger that benefitted from tasty beef.
(4)Steve O.
Tried this place for the first time tonight. It used to be the Comfort Cafe, the place that let you pay what you thought was appropriate (surprise, surprise - not a sustainable business model). They gutted it and totally updated the decor. They've got a dozen or so beers on tap, mostly Colorado varieties like Left Hand, etc. (love that Milk Stout). The menu is small, but what we had was good. The gruyere/truffle oil mac n' cheese was a little heavy on the mornay sauce for my taste, meaning it was more creamy than cheesy, but the flavors were right, and the grilled brussel sprouts were great. The service was good, prompt and friendly. We even talked to the owner for a bit. He's been slinging drinks forever and a day for other people and finally opened his own joint and is now slingin' 'em for himself. To a certain extent it's still a work in progress. For example, there's a patio space (sort of) out back, but it needs to be spruced up and fully paved, or at least landscaped. It's got potential and the owner is a cool cat. I hope this place takes off. Based on tonight's experience, it should.

First time visit on a Monday evening. It was crowded inside, although the tables by the big open windows looking on the the street were tempting. We ended up on the back patio which had a very backyard feel to it. When we first arrived there were a couple of families letting their kids run wild, but after they left it was peaceful. The wicker seating seems to need cushions, but the overall feel is comfortable. Food wise we ordered the Belgian fries with 3 sauces to try. Medjool dates, grilled cheese, ahi tuna tartar, kale and fruit salad. Fries are pretty normal but enhanced by sauce choices. Husband loved the dates, ahi was delish and fresh. Salad was bigger than expected and pretty good. Grilled cheese was a little chewy with crispy bread. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful and timed their visits well. Price was just about right for portions and quality. Only caveat was they were out of wild boar for the sloppy joes and ipa battered fish and chips (due to a busy weekend prior?)
(4)Steve W.
Use to really like this place, until i found a hair in my food and the short manager told me it was my problem. We also put $20 in the Touch Tunes and did not hear a single song manager stated he decides what music is played. Will never go back.

In a neighborhood with no shortage of fantastic restaurants West End Tap House is one of our favorites. With a great craft beer selection, full bar, and a menu filled with tasty locally-sourced foods, what's not to love? Most recently I went with a group and we ordered a bunch of items for the table, so I got to sample a little of everything. The favorite bites were: The Charred Brussel Sprouts, if you want to pretend you're eating healthy The Mac and Cheese, if you are ready to stop pretending, and just enjoy this delicious, creamy comfort food! Belgian Fries, because their fries, do you need another reason? If so, they have lots of delicious dipping sauces to try. I loved the Sriracha Lime. I've also had their other food, and they make a deliciously dreamy Burger with all natural beef, and an incredible Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich. Their sweet potato fries are also delish. I haven't had a bad dish at West End Tap House, and that's really the best compliment I can give.

Been in a handful of times and never been very impressed. Food is always meh. Decent drink and beer selection. Unfortunately service is usually lacking. My latest and last visit included 2 bar staff not serving anyone while they engaged in conversations with their friends. Finally got a beer list after a couple minutes and then had to literally interrupt my bartender's BS session with his buddies after a couple more minutes to get a beer. He then brought the beer and overcharged me by 55%. It took me a couple minutes to get their attention and have this rectified. All in all it was about 10+ minutes to get a beer with nobody else placing an order. Pot's awesome, but not before work.

Dipped in for a quick bite before a show at the Oriental on a Thursday evening - it was NFL draft night, so there was some squads of folks gathered around the tubes. Looks like a solid local place - and also a solid second date night, as there were several couples scattered around and still pretty spiffed up ;) Enjoyed my short rib sandwich, fries and a brown ale - waitress was prompt and unobtrusive despite the tight quarters. Staff seemed friendly, place was clean and the menu was of the moment - a solid joint. The back patio was a tad smoky, looked cool with community tables - perhaps it is more diffuse when it isn't raining.

I drink here regularly (not that I drink regularly), and West End has some really great beer on tap, and great service. The staff is always a really fun group, which adds to the experience. They have several TVs for sports, and they open up the front of the restaurant when it is warm out, which I love. I have only eaten here once, and it was an under-whelming bar burger, but I've heard most of the food is pretty good. 4-stars for these suckers because I always have a good time in this joint, I think.
(4)Katie S.
This place is getting all these stars mainly because of the service! My friend and I walked over to Tennyson last night and decided to stop in here. The place was packed when we got there, and there really wasn't anywhere to sit. We were sort of hesitating by the door and the bartender greeted us warmly and motioned us inside. Then one of the waitresses had some people scoot down at the bar so we could sit. I had a couple of whiskey sours, and they were really great! I saw the bartender making them and he's good at his job. Plus the ice in the drinks was the crushed kind that's kind of like hailstones. It made the drink a little bit unique and I loved it. Next time I'll have beer when I'm here because their tap selection looks fun. We ordered the mac and cheese and sweet potato fries to share. The mac and cheese was yummy! The noodles were like half-moons (I don't know pasta names, I'm not intelligent) and they held a lot of cheese in them, which was great. The fries were average, but we got horseradish dipping sauce with them. I'd never thought of pairing those flavors before and it was yummy. Anyway, we both liked it here and said we'd go back. The atmosphere was really friendly and really inviting. The staff and the customers were a lot less snobby than some of the places on the same street. I can't wait to go in the summer when we can hang on the patio because it looks awesome! I think next time I'll bring more of an appetite as well, because the burgers looked yummy.

West End is the quintessential neighborhood bar. A modern but rustic motif... It makes you feel comfortable. The patio is our favorite place to relax, dine and cocktail... Unless, of course, it is a "sports" day! The beer list is extensive, the cocktails are worthy, the food is homemade, creative and excellent (best burger and fries in Berkeley), staff is super friendly (thanks to Steve & Kurt / owners) and the Bloody Mary's (our Sunday favorite) are blended with an incredible horseradishy mix . West End is our neighborhood "go to" place... No other bar has ever taken such great care of us. Check it out... there's probably a stool calling your name.
(5)Christopher B.
My goal recently has been to try new places around Denver. Well, this was my first visit here but it won't be my last. I was impressed from the second I walked in the door. I really dug the atmosphere and the vibe. It has a modern feeling but the wooden tables add the 'warmth'. It really reminded me of a place I used to frequent in Long Beach, if I'm being completely honest. And that's a good thing. The beer list was really good. The steak sandwich was recommended and it was absolutely money. The waitress was attentive, nice, and just great. She really helped make the experience. I do have to agree with another review about TV's and how he hates TV's. I noticed that most place I go to don't have TV's and there is something to be said for that. I would love to see this place try to limit that aspect... I think it would really add something. But I'm sure the TV's probably draw in business especially during playoffs and football season. If I'm seeking those out then I know this is a viable option. This is a place I would come to Tennyson for and given the other options, it could make for a good night of bar hopping.
(4)Michael D.
Service a selection were good. Some of the clientele have inflated opinions of themselves.
(4)Portia H.
We love the West End Tap House! I love the tempeh burger, the portabello burger, and the dipping sauces for the fries. The beer is delicious and the service is usually very good. Alicia is our favorite! Oh, and the patio in the summer is lots of fun. The only bad thing I'd say is that it can get noisy.
(4)Jeff S.
Now this is my kind of place! What a great bar! I mean that it's a large, comfortable bar with good seats and lots of room to relax and drink. The have a truly impressive tap selection and the bartender Jeremy is extremely good at his profession. Oh, and if you wander in here, swing in the back at check out the patio.... SWEET SONUVA MONKEY SPANK is that amazing! It'll ruin you for every other outdoor drinking spot you can name. Trust me. I can't wait to come back here, this place rocks. Cheers!!
(5)Heather C.
I love the outdoor patio here. It's so nice on a sunny day. Also the staff is friendly and attentive and their Belgian fries are awesome!!
(4)Jason J.
I've stopped in a few times, for food and for drinks, and I've found this to be a pretty good place for both! They have a large back patio, a decent beer selection, tasty vittles, and friendly staff. I don't remember anything super remarkable, but it's a really great neighborhood bar. A great place to bring your friends, make new ones, or just hang out and watch the game grabbing a beer with some grub! Totally fun spot to chill. In fact, I may go there right now...
(4)Stacy C.
Love this bar. Staff is friendly, food is yummy. From Buffalo, The wings are really good. Patio is great! Will definitely be back.
(5)Chris H.
The food here is surprisingly fantastic and the bar tenders were great. Good amount of TVs here for a good Sunday morning of football, we'll be back
(5)Rachel C.
They allow cigarette smoking on their huge back patio. Too bad because the food and drinks were good. But not worth inhaling smoke and smelling like cigarettes. Isn't it illegal to smoke in restaurants now anyhow?
(1)Caroline H.
This place was pretty cute and food was good. I wasn't super-impressed with the beer selection, but that might just be because I like dark beer and didn't really find many to choose from. The one I wanted was out when I ordered, but our waitress did have a few suggestions for a replacement, which I appreciated. My sandwich was pretty good (portabello). We ordered some fries to split and they were ...fries, so I enjoyed those. Not bad, I'd probably come again, but it wasn't extremely memorable.
(3)Connie W.
What a pleasant surprise to find a magical patio behind this fun little bar! The perfect place for a nightcap on a date night. We'll be back!
(5)Todd H.
Best place to eat on the block in my opinion. Maybe not the decor of some other places and not sure if it is a bar or a restaurant or both but the food is great. We accidentally came in on new years eve because all the other places in the area were packed and or closed. Glad we stopped in. Not supper family friendly because it is a bar but they have always been happy to seat us and serve us, and our kids like the shrimp and grill cheese. Again best place in the area to grab food or just hang out.
(5)Phil N.
I cannot praise this place enough. I spent this past summer in Denver and had the honor of meeting the owners, Steve and Kurt, as well as Chef Leif. It goes without saying, to me, that this is the best spot in Denver for an awesome beer list, a great environment for any occasion, and any one of Chef Leif's special dishes he prepares each weekend. Both owners are very active in the establishment and you'll always see them bartending and interacting with new guests and regulars alike. Stop in and bs with these guys about the beer they have and what's on the way. You won't be let down.
(5)S S.
Worst burger I have had in a long time. I've had cafeteria burgers taste better. The awesome beer list will bring me back but likely will not try then food again.
(2)Maria B.
Great neighborhood pub! Awesome food, decent choice of local brews! Anyone who has tasty, quality elk chili on the menu gets my vote. It's located on Tennyson. Parking can be hit or miss, but you will get a spot eventually.
(4)Nicole P.
This place draws you in with glimpses through the window, and inside does not disappoint. I've never had a bad waitress, the beer list is long and varied, and the food is always great. Definitely try their fries. I'm not a fan of their million choices of dipping sauces, but the fries really are delicious. On my first visit, friends and I ordered a large variety of items and shared them all to get a taste (hehe) for the place. The burger was good, mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, everything was good. There is a chill vibe with cool architecture and music. Although there are two layers of bartop, a Friday night will always find it full.
(5)Jennifer L.
Went here for the first time last night (Friday) and the place was packed. After reading many of the reviews on here I was super excited for some tasty food. (Sadly, didn't enjoy any of their awesome beer and wine selection because we're having a dry month). First impressions: Very bar like, which makes sense given the name. I wish the music had been turned down a bit because it was crazy loud, especially on top of everyone socializing. Food: At a glance the menu looked amazing. We had a really difficult time deciding what to get. We decided on the Ham and Cheese Croquettes for an appetizer, I got the grilled cheese with a side house salad, and my boyfriend got the fish and chips. The croquettes were pretty disappointing. They looked like mozzarella sticks, but were slightly bigger. There were 3 of them with a cream sauce that had very little taste besides flour. The inside of the croquettes themselves were way too mushy. Would definitely not order those again. Our waitress was nice and everything was timely. I enjoyed my grilled cheese. The tomato dipping jam was a nice touch, although much better on the bottom of the ramekin (a little sweeter). I didn't try the fish and chips, but my boyfriend said it was pretty standard. No better than other fish and chips we've had at other brew pubs in the area. Overall: Not very impressed. The menu looks great on paper, but could have been executed better. We will probably be back to check out the beer and wine list during a happy hour or to watch a game but wouldn't come back just for dinner.
(3)Lacey M.
A great addition to Tennyson street, with delicious food, a great beer list, and amazing patio. They also have great drink specials for happy hour (M-F, 3-7pm). Bartenders are super friendly and give great service. For food, you MUST try the mac and cheese, with truffle and white cheddar. Ask for some sriracha to make it even better! It's super creamy and flavorful, but not overpowering with truffle. So good. I also love the brussels, with bacon and caramelized onions. I always end up getting the Arancini of the day, and it's never disappointed! The apps are so good that I have yet to venture onto the Big plates. Maybe someday... but it's just too hard to pass up that mac!
(4)Samantha Z.
Such an awesome place! Great bar to catch a Broncos game with high end food at a low end price! Love the rotating menu and specials! Haven't had a bad meal nor bad service! Love West End!
(5)Jessie P.
Great place to grab a drink with friends! Killer beer garden in the back and great beer selection. The Belgian fries are delish...really can't go wrong with anything on the food menu :)
(5)Evan A.
My friend just moved to the area so we decided to check out West End to see what Tennyson street had to offer. We found a seat right away (we were lucky) and it was pretty packed. If the weather was warmer I would have sat on the patio but from what it looked like, it was big had lots of room for summer. The selection of beer is great, mostly all local Colorado brews all at a good price. I ordered the tempeh sandwich and it was awesome. Tasty and filling, along with fries, I was a happy camper. I'd defiantly check this place out when the weather gets warmer and enjoy the patio.
(4)Darcy L.
The food here is phenomenal. We ordered a variety of their appetizers and devoured every last one. It was hard to say which was our favorite but the Brussel sprouts and chili were definitely in the top. Unfortunately the service was abysmal. It took almost 15 minutes for us to just get our first drink which she dropped off and then promptly disappeared. We were ready to order and no waitress. Our drinks were empty, no waitress. When she finally showed back up we all ordered two drinks at once because we knew we weren't going to see her again for a long time. And this was all on a Tuesday when it wasn't even full. The apps took a long time too but in the end worth the wait. We'll definitely come back because the food was so good, I just hope the service is better next time.
(3)Jennifer S.
Awesome place to hang out too drunk and eat! Amazing bar menu and beer selection. Local ingredients, great service and chill atmosphere. Imy first choice to meet friends any night!
(5)Cat F.
Loved this place. The elk chili, beer battered fish and chips and the Belgian fries were all delicious. There is a huge patio out back as well with TV's. The Bar area was packed. Bring your friends!
(5)Brenna G.
This place blows.. Looks cool from outside. It was my first time there and my LAST! The Place smelled of dirty feet and they fraudulently take customers money that they play on the touch tunes juke box and plays only songs that the owner likes instead. This establishment needs to just get their own music playlist that they don't charge customers for since they will control what plays anyways. Don't waste your money here!!
(2)Jacqueline A.
This is a local neighborhood restaurant, not something to recommend driving out of your way here but the service is good and the food is fine. My gripe with the place comes to the food pricing. My boyfriend and I ordered two steak sandwiches, side of brussel sprouts, fries, and three beers. Our total for the evening including tip came to be $60. Too expensive for a neighborhood place serving burgers and fries. I would come back for a drink or an appetizer but the portions that go a long with the prices are just unrealistic even if they are being served in a trendy neighborhood. If in the area definitely grab a drink here, it has a fun vibe and a good crowd, and maybe eat a small nosh but don't (over)spend the money on a full meal.
(3)Jessi H.
Meh. The best part about this place was the outsourced beers. Food was mediocre at best.
(1)Amanda C.
Ranking this on food and atmosphere alone, I give the West End four stars. We ordered burgers and drinks. Burgers were great and the rest of the menu looked good. Hopefully next time our service is better. We were there on a Thursday, not too busy. Waitress wasn't attentive to our table at all. Regardless, would give this place another go!
(4)Greg P.
These guys are awesome. Outstanding service with a smile. They go out of there way to learn your name and remember your tastes. The Sriracha wings are outstanding.
(5)Cyndi J.
We met a friend for drinks here, so I can't comment on the food, other than it looked delicious at the other tables. The service was awesome. She checked on us regularly and treated us like friends. The vibe is chill here. It's nicely decorated, and casual enough to linger.
(4)Nick L.
I really like this place. I've been here about a half dozen times and always have a good experience. The vibe is super chill and the back patio is awesome for nice weather. The food is a bit more than typical bar food. They don't just have fries, they have Belgium fries with 10 different types of sauce. The don't just have a bratwurst, they have a jalapeno elk bratwurst. The food is better than your typical deep fried bar food. The beer selection is pretty good as well. It's not overpowering and they do a good job of rotating the taps. Be sure to ask is they have anything that's not on the menu right now because they switch it out fairly regularly. They also have a rotating handle from Black Bottle Brewery which has had some pretty off the wall stuff. I've been surprised a few times by what is coming out of that tap ... in a good way. Check this place out for the beer and stay for the food.
(4)Emily T.
I understand this is the West End Tap House, but damn, why does it have to be located on the West End of town? I want this to be in MY neighborhood and to be MY neighborhood bar. Mine, mine, mine! Their beer list is good, not great, but good. It has the usual Colorado brewery suspects, such as Avery, Left Hand, Upslope, and Ska, as well as some smaller local breweries like Twisted Pine and Prost. The food for the most part is a far cry from healthy, but who can judge you for ordering FUNNEL CAKE FRIES?! As for the space itself, well as Sir Mix-A-Lot would say, baby's got back. West End's back patio has got it goin' on with comfy couches and lounge chairs sidled up next to picnic tables under a lit pergola. Until I can convince them to become the Capitol Hill Tap House, I'm content to head to Tennyson to patronize West End.
