Despite living a few blocks away from this place I have given up on them. The food has always been mediocre but the straw that broke the camel's back was an experience I had ordering chicken wings. I found myself craving chicken wings on an incredibly hot afternoon. Still willing to give Rebellion a chance I called in an order and was told that they would be ready in twenty minutes. When I arrived to pick up my wings I was met with a blank stare, they had lost my order. They told me that they would put a rush on an order if I didn't mind waiting. Seeing as it was extremely hot out and I had to wait I asked for a water to which the guy behind the counter replied 'that'll be $1.25." Wait a minute, I'm stuck in your overly hot waiting area because you screwed up my order and you are gonna charge me for water? I paid for the water they should've offered me to begin with, took my mediocre chicken wings home, and ended my relationship with Rebellion.

this place was fucking awesome! i'm an a rare vegan who has reintegrated flesh into his diet. Buffalo meat, does that say BUFFALO MEAT! OMG! I got "THE WORKS" pizza subbing buffalo for sausage and with vegan cheese. Staff was super cool, friendly and not idiots. Pizza was amazing. crust or sauce was a little sweet for my taste, but overall it was amazing! and to find a place randomly on the road to satisfy a vanload of varying dietery restictions was wonderful! i will always recommend and be back next time i'm in denver! don't hesitate! And tip those mofo's!!!

If you believe in LOVE at first sight - then my stomach's in LOVE with Rebellion. Didn't want to do full blown vegan - but wasn't in the mood for meat - the idea of fresh, local and organic ingredients was perfect. Got a Ginormous cheese, tomato and 'shroom pie and a salad to go. The crust, sauce and ingredients were perfect even though I had to transport it a ways home. All the salad fixin's were really fresh. They were super friendly and no issues cashing in my HALF PRICE coupon I got at: bit.ly/clilNo (just checked before writing review - still some for sale). I'm pretty picky about my pizza, moved here from St. Louis, lived in Illinois - have sampled some good pies - I rate Rebellion up there among my faves. (Rating for groups applies to outdoor seating areas - FYI)

And now they have Daiya! Vegans (and everyone else), get thee to the Rebellion. Rebellion, get thee a downtown location!

This place makes a darn good pie! Admittedly, I've only ever tried their vegan versions, but really, really enjoyed every pizza I've had from there. The crust is perfect and the toppings are fresh and delicious. We like to pick up our pizza and head for Belleview Park with the kiddos.

As far as fresh and handmade vegan pizzas go this place is the best in Denver. It is strickly delivery and take-out, but there are a few picnic tables outside if the weather is nice. The pizzas are yummy and they have a great selection to please meat-eaters and veggies alike. Totally recommended!!

We found a flyer and menu on our door from The Rebellion. We were sold when we read the Manifesto: MANIFESTO ... a new way to think about fast food The Rebellion is your new neighborhood restaurant, locally owned and operated and opened in revolt to the way fast food is done. We were sick of over-priced food made from mediocre ingredients. We wanted more options when it came to delivery. We were tired of restaurants that only care about the bottom line. We were finished hoping for healthy options or social or environmental awareness from the national companies. The Rebellion is a revolution against all of this. We make the best tasting pizzas, burgers, salads and sides Denver has to offer, all of which are available for delivery or carry out. We make our pizza dough and sauce from scratch on location with premium ingredients like organic flour, organic sugar, extra virgin olive oil and sea salt, to name a few. And for nearly every meat option we also offer a vegan meatless alternative. Yet we keep our prices reasonable so anyone can enjoy our full menu. We ordered two pizzas - one small pepperoni with jalapeno (it was a toss up between that or anchovies and garlic - in deference to the ball-n-chain, I skipped the fishies and garlic), one small Canadian bacon with jalapeno and 10 Fire chicken wings. The order was only 20 bucks (free delivery). I got through two slices and the ball-n-chain had three. There is plenty left over. The pizza was hot and not super thin but not super thick either. The cheese topped the ingredients so you had a little ceiling of cheese. It was very good - way better than any chain. The sauce was a little sweet, which I wasn't expecting. It was pretty good, but again I wasn't expecting sweet (should have read the Manifesto a little more closely). They also give you a little packet of honey for your crust. First class. The wings were really good, not overly sauced, baked and had a nice bit of heat to them. A more slow creeping heat than burn-your-face-off. They have a great selection of vegan options and they deliver burgers ($4.49 for a cheeseburger - 6 oz lean ground beef, American cheese, onions, pickles, ketchup, mustard) and buffalo burgers and vegan burgers and fries and onion rings and spicy fries and sandwiches and salads. Whew! They have 22 different toppings for pizza and three sauces - pizza, BBQ and garlic infused olive oil - gotta try that one. The delivery dude wasn't scary. Polite and quick. They don't take checks but the delivery dude had little hand-held credit card machine. Local. Inexpensive. Best part = local.

I returned, and ordered the same pie (my Mother is lactose intolerant, and this was a great solution). It was just as unique and tasty as the first time!
(4)Angie S.
I really really like this place! I'm a vegetarian btw. The pizza is very good. So if you are thinking of going to City O' City but (a) don't feel like waiting half an hour for the staff to look at you, (b) don't want to drive all the way to denver... or (c) if your hipster uniform is in the wash... I'd head to this place for pick up. Great choice for Vegans/Vegetarians without having to deal with the 'better than you' attitude!
(5)Ronald S.
ive had a few vegan pizzas in my travels, even though i am not a vegan - i think pizza is the one thing keeping me from becoming vegan and i am always willing to see if i can make the leap from vegetarian to vegan via pizza. rebellion makes a pretty decent pie, and the daiya cheese isn't bad - most of the other vegan pizzas i have had use daiya as well. the crust here was sweet and cooked well, a little brown crunchyness. the tomato sauce i think was the weak point for me - it just didnt fit with the whole picture of this pizza. one other thing for me that was disappointing initially but i got over it was the conveyor belt oven - i dont think this kind of cooking of pizza really exudes a passion in pizza, it makes me think of dominos and places that worry about quantity and speed and not quality - but after eating the pizza it wasn't as bad as i had expected, really it was pretty good for an out of the ordinary pie. we had a vegan pepperoni and a regular (not vegan) pepperoni pie and the non vegan one looked better (and came with honey of course the vegan one did not) i didnt really like the vegan pepperoni and would probably try something else next time. if you want delivery and are vegan looking for pizza this would be a good option. if you are a raving pizza fanatic and like cheese, this probably wouldn't be on the pie to-do list. parking in back. black building. black pizza boxes. interesting place. no seating indoors. on a nice day, thats no problem.

Good place to order in. I have never had pizza from there but the burgers/fried foods are good. I order weekly and delivery is quick and surprisingly with amazing customer service. One of the delivery drivers always has milk bones and knows we have dogs so makes sure to give them treats too.
(4)Lauren M.
Delivery was fast, the food was good though they either got my order wrong or poorly described one of the items on the menu. I ordered chili cheese fries but there was zero chili on it. I don't even think there was meat. I didn't miss it all that much since the tomatoes, black olives jalapenos, and cheese were abundant and tasty, but still. Actual rating: 4.5 stars Would recommend and will order again
(4)Nicholas R.
I was on my last leg with this place. Every time id get a burger it was so burnt I couldn't eat it. Now, I ask for medium sometimes medium well. What I had received in the past was well well well well done. Not even edible. My girlfriend loves their vegan pizza so I kept trying. I don't know if they changed the people cooking or what happened but the last few times we ordered it was amazing. We even ordered two nights in a row in case Saturday night was some fluke. Sunday night was just as good. Keep on keepin on rebellion. I look forward to more. Yay! I keep getting delicious food. Way to go rebellion! Delivery drivers are awesome too.

Every one has their favorite pizza places... Rebellion isn't mine....this place continues to plague me... even though i refuse to eat their pies....had the pizza twice... cheap ingredients, totally underwhelmed as a customer, meh... would best describe the pies... What plagues me now is the fact that i've called them numerous times to have them stop littering my house and my neighborhood with their obnoxious flyers weekly... Never mind the fact that i have a huge sign that states 'No Soliciting' ...every week their moron ignores the sign and rubber bands his flyer to my door. I'd eat pizza Hut before i'd do business with this bunch again... and thats a statement.

I'm sorry, Rebellion. I can't even spare a star for you because my "The Rebellion" tale goes like this: After a night of imbibing (or over-imbibing, in my case), we were headed home and, at my request, in search of pizza. My partner suggested Pie Hole, but I complained it was too far and settled on the Rebellion instead. Even in my drunken stupor, the second we walked in, I realized we had made a poor choice. Instantly, my skin felt caked in smokey grease. Still, we forged on. There were two other fellows waiting for food ahead of us and it seemed the gentlemen in back were buzzing about. It took a few minutes to be helped, but we didn't mind too much. We ordered the Meat... or "More Meat" or "Meat Meat Meat" or something like that. Fourty-five minutes later, when we finally received our SMALL pizza (seriously, it was equivalent to 2 slices at Pie Hole) for $12, we slinked off into the night. The two guys who were originally waiting on food when we walked in were still waiting for food when we left. In fact, they're probably still there... waiting. They probably spent enough time waiting for food there that they got sucked beyond the event horizon and into some sort of pizza black-hole for the rest of eternity. RIP. Upon getting home, we opened the box and discovered a super cheesy looking mess with very little meat. It didn't taste much better than the description... and I was in the state where you want greasy, cheesy, terrible-for-you pizza. But this took it to another level. This was just terrible... without the "for you". We finished 3 pieces. I don't blame the employees working there. They were just a couple guys trying to deal with an ENORMOUS menu at 1 AM... but the food was just not good and for such a ridiculous wait and 12 bucks for the tiniest pizza? There's nothing redeeming about the Rebellion. Unfortunately, the only rebellion you'll find after visiting this establishment is the lower digestive tract's rebellion against the food you ate.
(1)Alyssa S.
I ordered delivery and I'm grateful for their fast service. The burger was not good...I guess medium means well done. I literally laughed out loud about my garden salad. It was funny to me I paid $4.50 for a few large, not bite sized pieces of lettuce, soggy tomatoes and a couple mushrooms. I would maybe order again to try the pizza but I would rather not eat a burger from there ever again.
(3)Morgan M.
this place was a great pizza find ! I was very disappointed to see you Cannot sit in it must be Togo . But the food is great !!! I had the vegan meat lovers calzone ! It was a great size and tasted amazing , very cheesy with 4 different vegan meats. I would recommend it ! They have pizza, calzones, and sandwiches, It is a little pricy but the menu is large !
(4)Olivia S.
Vegan pizza AND they deliver for free!! I placed my order with very high expectations and The Rebellion delivered. I ordered a vegan BBQ chicken pizza and garlic bread sticks. The bread sticks were fried which was not what I was expecting but they were still good. The marinara sauce was very flavorful. I definitely will be ordering again!! The delivery driver had trouble finding my building but it wasn't too bad. I order about 6:15 and received my order around 7:25.

Decided to try this place seeing their vegan and gluten free menu and bonus free delivery. Their menu is fun and has a fried candybar which I must say was delicious. We ordered the seitan wings and a bacon burger. The employees were friendly and delivery was fast. An issue I had was they offered coupons online and a yelp offer for free fries none of which worked the coupons were two years expired and the employee said they didnt honor the yelp offer. I found that weird everywhere else that has a yelp offer knows about it and honors it not to mention coupons and specials..but nbd lets give it a shot. The burger was just a burger nothing to write home about and the wings were small and not what I expected with the price I paid. I almost felt ripped off as their seitan wings looked like ten thick fries in a small bed of sauce. I think rebellion has the right idea and attitude but their prices dont add up to their product. An extra star for the vegan ranch and garlic fries yum!

Was excited to try this place and was happy that they were open so late (reason they received 2 stars). The customer experience was great and all, but the food in my opinion has a lot to be desired. My partner and I both got Burgers.... one mushroom and one hawian, both vegan. I'm not sure what the patty was made of, but it seemed very far away from a whole food, plant based product. It seemed very processed and the taste literally reminded me of something that I ate in my grade school cafeteria. I loved that they had so many vegan cheese options, but the wrong cheese was put on my mushroom burger... probably an honest mistake. We also ordered some of the Vegan wings... also not good. I think that I read somewhere on the reviews that they were similar to City O City or Watercourse... I've never tasted anything like that at either of those two establishments. They were chewy and again seemed very processed, not what I was expecting. I honestly do love that they are open late AND have Vegan options, but I would recommend updating those options to be more appealing to customers. This review was not written with any ill intentions, I would want to hear the same feedback if I was a business owner and selling this product. For those of you who are thinking about giving the food a try and are looking for a late night Vegan fix I would give somewhere else a try. Trust me, you'll be left feeling unsatisfied.

Totally underwhelming. Ordered carry out, was told 15 minutes. Showed up 15 minutes later, was told my order wasn't ready yet. Thought this was okay because then my food would be fresh; I was wrong. I received 2 room temperature bbq bacon cheeseburgers. My wife, who is post pregnancy and craving protein, was only able to eat half her burger before calling it quits because of the taste. We also ordered the $4.49 fried mushrooms, which apparently come 8 to an order; that's 55¢ per mushroom. If you're craving a quick, cooked to order burger in this area of town, skip this place and go to Good Times. The ingredients at Rebellion seem good, the execution is not there, however.
(2)Meagan P.
Think cafateria food at the Zoo, thats the closest I can compare it to. Frozen burger patty (NOT good burger either, maybe even precooked?) Tiny bag of frozen tasting fries for $2.50, and really processed cheese. It was delivered within a reasonable time and the driver was friendly hence the 2 stars. Highly overpriced for the quality of food they use.
(2)Rachel S.
To start... Delivery took over an hour. However this is Due to the fact that they use grub hub, which is often sooooo slow. As for the phone conversation....they are knowledgable about vegan food and actually said that they fry everything in the same fryer. So for us vegans we like to know so we can make an educated decisions about food. For vegans, this is a big deal. The food itself... On regular people terms... standard pizza delivery pizza. On foodie terms....well It isn't a foodie pizza place. No arugula or truffle oil in sight. Vegan veggie pizza was delicious. The veggies were fresh and not soggy. The garlic fries were good and oven baked so health bonus....well as much as fried can be. Would give three for vegan options, but I try to judge from a traditional standpoint.
(2)Mitchell L.
One time, the delivery was 2 hours late. Another time, they didn't provide an upcharge. One more strike and they're out.
(1)Ryan P.
I ordered the BBQ Burger with a buffalo patty via GrubHub. Everything arrived on time and in pretty good shape. The burger was somewhere past well done and all the juices had been cooked right out of it. I added a massive blob of ketchup in an effort to save it, but it was too late. I ended up eating only the bun. I called the restaurant and spoke to a man named Fransisco who said he was the GM. He apologized for the burger and did offer me a credit on my next order, so things worked out alright. I've found that a lot of restaurants tend to overcook buffalo so I was somewhat prepared for an overcooked burger, but in the future I would recommend that the burgers come out closer to medium than well done. I can always microwave a burger quickly if it's too rare but there's no recourse for overcooked food.
(3)Douglas S.
I've eaten from this place a few times and have always been happy with the food I have ordered. And if you're vegan, then you should definitely check this place out. But I digress. Recently, I heard how amazing their banana milkshakes were. So some friends and I decided to try some with a pizza we ordered (which was quite good). Sadly, what we received could only be described as milk blended with maybe a single scoop of bland, nondescript tasting ice cream. Needless to say, I do not think these milkshakes would bring any boys to the yard. However, I will likely give them another chance in hopes of sampling this Holy Grail of banana milkshakes I have heard about from others.
(3)Jazz W.
Ok rebellion. Congratulations! I'm annoyed enough to actually write a review. First off delivery took an HOUR AND HALF. Then my food was wrong and cold of course. We ordered a double cheeseburger and got a single that was so over done and disgusting. We also didn't get any of the sauces we paid for. The cheese sticks were cold, the chicken sandwich was cold and obviously a frozen patty. I still would not have wasted time writing a review BUT the horrible customer service was too much. I've been calling all day to speak to a manager (still waiting) and I keep getting excuses. The ppl who answer the phone are rude and short with me. Just over all very disappointing. I'll just continue to call over and over and over again rebellion.
(1)Bethany G.
Affordable, nice service, fast (and free) delivery, and I value anywhere I can grab a quick vegetarian bite. I will definitely be going back.
(4)Love B.
Please do read all the reviews with ratings in 1 or 2 stars. You will find that they are consistent about some issues and for good reasons. Because, well those issues are consistent. Feel free to indulge in receiving their services if ending up as disturbed, agitated, and highly dissatisfied is your idea of eating food. If you are ordering on GrubHub think again, unless you don't respect your time at all. 1. They are NEVER going to deliver on time. 2. Chances are many a times, they will just NEVER DELIVER while you keep waiting patiently owing to your good manners. 3. If they do end up delivering it, the food is NEVER going to be hot. 4. Irrespective of whether it is hot or cold, the food is going to be really, really GROSS. 5. Now try calling them with your feedback, and find out, that the owner doesn't give a care about you. Yes, I am pretty sure, like many other reviews on yelp, Jason B. is going to pitch in and add his two cents of humanity and apologize and make promises so that he can continue to get newbies like you, yes you, to take a leap of faith and order. I say this because, I was one of you. Ordered 2-3 times, and now I am done with them.
(1)Kerri W.
Just paid $30 for a 4 bite salad and a calzone smaller then my hand... I'm a 120 pound woman, after $30 I should feel full. Not to mention it wasn't even good. Dont waste your money or your time.
(1)Luis P.
This is a decent place to grab a bite and the everyone one here is very friendly. The only reason I am not giving them a full 5 star review is because I ordered the vegan mushroom burger and it wasn't very good at all. However, all other orders I've made from The Rebellion have been delicious and I won't give up on them just yet!
(4)Kate S.
I'm completely shocked reading through some of these reviews...I've been eating at the Rebellion for over a year and never once had an unpleasant experience! I live outside the delivery area so I can't say anything about delivery times but I drive all the way from Arvada for their food because I love it so much. My favorite things to order are their pizza, calzones, and garlic bread, all vegan. I bring all my friends here and everyone's loved it. The staff are all very friendly and it's never more than a 15 minute wait. There is no better place to get vegan pizza than the Rebellion! The only thing I'd wish for is a more covered seating area for when the weather is bad.
(5)Carli R.
I have been putting this review off for a long time. I delivered for these guys for a short time and just wanted to put all the people complaining about cook and delivery time on blast: it's a *small business*. They are often under staffed, and there is nothing more annoying than being the only driver on a Saturday night with ONE cook/manager and hearing people complain that it took a while even after grubhub told them it would. If you want a quick, disgusting burger, go to McDonalds. If you want decent food with TONS of vegan options from fried mushrooms to delicious pizzas, call the Rebellion. Even after leaving the company I still eat their food quite often and the *one* time they made a small mistake, I emailed the manager and was promptly responded to with an apology and an offer to fix it. Maybe some of you should try having people skills instead of jumping on yelp to feel important when everything isn't perfect for you. I've had to eat food from dumpsters before, go back to your country club and quit your whining. Peace.
(5)Kristy G.
It isn't the best vegan pizza that I've had, but it was pretty decent. I ordered the Mediterranean and made it vegan. The toppings were good, but I ordered the 10inch and nearly 1/3 of my pizza was toppingless crust. One piece had an air bubble and was probably 90% crust. Speaking of crust, it was actually pretty good - I just wish there was a little less of it. My husband had the Fire Pizza and added pepperoni. He said it was really good. We also had deep fried pickles. They were good, but 2 of them were smooshed as they baggy they were in was shoved into my pizza box. The vegan ranch definitely did not taste like "ranch" but it was okay. Ordered from Eat24 and was quoted 45-60 minutes. Delivery showed up in 35 minutes so no complaints there. I will definitely give them another try next time I am looking for veg-friendly delivery.
(4)Mj M.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. The food here is great delivery food. I have ordered food from here many times & have raved about them to friends. However, tonight I ordered delivery & my order was cold & wrong. I called the 'General Manager' & he told me that they would not fix my order & deliver a new one. I told him that I would never order from them again & he said 'That's fine, Goodnight' & hung up on me! I have never been treated this way by a 'Manager' in my life! I own a restaurant & would never let my customers be treated this way! I have read the other reviews & it seems that this is the norm there. I guess the have a new bad manager, or I was lucky when I went there before...
(1)Mary W.
OH MY GOD!! Wow this has been a disturbing experience to say the least. after browsing grub hub for some places that would deliver to my neighborhood, I settled on The Rebellion because the food looked reasonably priced and they had no delivery fee. I received the confirmation email saying that they would be here in an hour- a little too long to wait but it was lunch time, so okay. When the delivery man showed up 1 and 1/2 hours later he was clearly high- he reeked of smoke and so did my food! I asked him a few questions and he just stared at me blankly. THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. everything was so salty that it was unbearable to eat- including the SALAD I ordered. I had to throw it all out after spending far too much money here. Overall, my experience with The Rebellion was not a good one- the food is too pricey and is really, really gross. that guy who smokes (not just weed or cigarettes) on his deliveries needs to stop, and I would NEVER EVER eat from here again. I don't recommend it.
(1)Sam S.
Totally gross. I was really excited to try this place because of the vegan/vegetarian options, but was honestly blown away at how awful the food was. I feel like you get better, fresher ingredients on the veggie burger at Burger King! You're better off just microwaving some morningstar stuff. The worst food I've eaten in a long time.

Here are two quotes that are accurate for this updated review........"To err is human" followed by "Insanity is doing the same thing expecting a different result" the former would be after the review written in 2013 with manager apologetically replying.......and there was peace in the world......BUT......and this is were the latter comes in. "Insanity is doing the same thing expecting a different result".......flash forward 8 months. I called to see what the specials were since the online page had shown to expired. the employee told me that the specials were still active, including the burger special.......SCORE!.....I begin to make my order......."what's your address".... XXXX, can you repeat that......XXXX.......how do you spell that.....X...X...X....X and your phone number.....XXXXXXX.....can you repeat that again.....X...X.....X....X....X ok it'll be 45 mins to an hour.........and hour later I get a phone call from the delivery guy " can you tell me where you're located the address on here must be incorrect"........XXXXX "can you spell that?" X...X....X....X ok will be there in 5 to ten minutes.......ten minutes later RING......yes.....I can't find your address was it.......XOXX or XOOOX.......why don't you just go ahead and take it back.......DRIVER: okay, thanks I appreciate it...... I waited a awhile to call, filling the cuss jar to the brim. I spoke with the manager who went through he order with me then put me on hold, checked and came back and apologized because of the MIScommunication and offered me a complimentary order next time round. I told him that I wouldn't be calling in the future. I don't know if the owner is reading these yelp reviews or if they being deflected by a manager so that the owner never sees them, at this point it really doesn't matter The Rebellion has lost a regular
(1)R S.
I tried this place a couple times because their deep-fried candy bars are pretty good. However, everything else they offer is terrible. Their "premium" shake was super watery and was really just a vanilla shake with a little bit of flavoring. Their macaroni bites are bland. Their jalapeno poppers seem like microwaved freezer aisle store-bought product, as do their mozzarella sticks. The "loaded" nachos are actually a pretty small serving size considering how much they are charging for them. Their BBQ burger was also terrible, and actually had no BBQ sauce on it. The sauce came in a separate small container, which I only got one of even though I had asked for BBQ sauce for something else. Also, any notes you add in your order instructions, like including napkins, etc., get ignored. So, don't order from here.

I just finished eating a bowl of pasta from a box because my food was never delivered. I placed my order at 8:05 and was told it would take an hour. Called at 9:38 to check on the order. I was told the driver went to the wrong place, across town. Apparently it didn't occur to them to let us know there was a problem and the food would take longer. Called back at 10:23 to cancel the order. Was told the driver was having trouble finding the place but was 3 minutes away. I decided to not cancel since they were close. It's now 11:32 and my food is not here. I'm a vegetarian so I don't have a lot of places to choose from that have a good selection but I will never eat at this place again.

UPDATE: Jason, the manager gave me another chance and enticed me to try again. I guess it's a palate thing, just not to my liking. Thank you Jason for trying but will stick with Pasquini's I think :( 5/31: WORST PIZZA AND SALAD I'VE EVER HAD! If they could have a 0-star rating I would give it to them. Smallest, most flavorless pizza I've ever had, 4-cheese was more like 90% greasy cheddar and 10% of 3 others I couldn't taste. Crust was at least 2 inches into the 10" individual so I got about 6" of actual pizza. Salad was $4.50 and about a cup worth of food... Total rip off! Must cater to young DU students who don't know any better than to spend too much for too little and no flavor! BLECK!

Had lunch here and it was pretty good. I had a vegan calzone and French fries. Calzone was good, fries had good color but weren't crispy yet...almost. Service was pretty slow, considering we were the only ones there and it was difficult to eat the calzone with the plastic fork they provided. A knife would have been nice. I think most people order to go or delivery, and that's probably the way to go. Update: picked up a pizza to go on another occasion and it was great. Once again, fries were subpar, crisped them up a bit in a skillet at the house. Was told they might offer vegan milkshakes in the future. That would be worth the drive! LOVE the "Vegan Only" parking spot.

Meh? More like Bleh. I think this is probably the worst pizza in Denver. However, they get two stars because while the food is only worth one star, the service is prompt and friendly. We've ordered from here twice. Once for delivery and once for carry out. The first time it was undercooked for our liking. We also found out that they put the pizza toppings under the cheese not on top, which is fine if the pizza is cooked a bit more. So last night was our second attempt and we ordered The Meats pizza and breadsticks. We requested that they cook the pizza a bit longer for a crisper crust. Pizza was baked to perfection, but still mediocre at best. The breadsticks were basically dough with a bit of garlic powder sprinkled on top and I think the sauce they use for both the dipping sauce and the pizza is Prego. We really wanted to give these guys a chance since they are in B's hood Sadly, we've learned we're better off ordering from Papa John's or Black Jack.

We had recently given up on this place. Crappy food and obnoxious lack of customer service. But tonight my boyfriend and I were craving some pizza and decided to give the rebellion another try. We called in and the girl we spoke to was very polite and actually quite witty. Good phone experience, check. We showed up and wouldn't you know it our food was actually done! And still hot! The same girl was super friendly and was actually able to answer our questions about the food. Good customer service, check. Oh and the pizza was delicious! Much better experience this time around, we will be back.
(4)Laura S.
dude, even hung over and starving, this is the worst pizza ive ever had. tastes like lunchables. also, they take forever.
(1)Chelsea D.
I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit nervous ordering delivery because of all of the reviews. However, the delivery only took about 20 mins! I was pleasantly surprised and the food was good :) I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato.. yum!
(4)Tricia W.
All of you yelp pizza snobs can step off. To me Rebellion is the amazing replacement to any other delivery pizza you have had, here's why: 1. The Mediterranean pizza. Get it. Get it large and watch it disappear. 2. Get it delivered. It's free, fast, and they have a mobile credit card machine, far less sketchy than googling a phone number and repeating your card number to the people who answer 3. GREAT staff. I'm that guy who got cinnamon sticks instead of regular bread sticks and called. The guy knew exactly who I was profusely apologized and offered to drive me new breadsticks. 2 breadsticks. Instead I just got a credit but it made an impression. Things you should know: the breadsticks are pretty meh, maybe the cheesy ones would make me happier, their delivery radius is non specific so double check it.

Yummy Vegan Pizza!
(4)Christopher B.
it isn't often that I write a positive yelp, but for the rebellion I will. the rebellion has great food, made by friendly people in a very timely manner! I recommend the bison burgers and chicken burgers, great sandwiches, and make it your own with the "your perfect sandwich" option.
(4)Amy W.
I have been going here since they opened. I can't speak to their delivery time because we always pick it up. It is ready quickly and it is always delicious. Their crust is yummy and the sauce is probably the best I've ever had ( and pizza is my favorite food so I've tried many many many.) It is tomato goodness.
(4)Char S.
Apparently this place is known for their slow delivery. It took them 1 hour and 35 minutes to deliver my order of burgers, fries, and Greek salad. The burgers and fries tasted old and cold. The lettuce was old and slimy on the burger, but the salad was decent. I've gotten pizza here in the past, and enjoyed it. SO not worth 40 bucks.
(2)Brad B.
I ordered a sandwich and a side and it took 2 1/2 hours to get to me. When it did, I realized that my food had been done for two hours because it was ice cold. I don't think ill ever try this place again. I don't write a lot of reviews but if this saves anyone the money I wasted than it was worth it. Stay away!!!!

Unfortunately after my third time ordering rebellion on Saturday July 26th at about 11pm I have decided never to order from here again. After ordering my premium buffalo burger and trying the donut twists I patiently waited an hour before they arrived. I sat down excited to finally eat and discover I have paid over ten dollars for the wrong burger to be sent to me. I then call the manager on duty to inform him, and after asking me three times what was wrong with the burger and me saying "I ordered a premium one and got a plain one" it finally clicked and he says "oh well I'll put a five dollar credit on your account" and immediately hangs up on me. I sigh and bite into a donut twist and find they haven't even fully been cooked, and are basically raw dough on the inside. I immediately toss them in the trash trying to force my food to stay down, and mentally thank the manager for a five dollar credit I will now never use, rather then correcting my order to what I paid over twenty dollars for. It's too bad, great idea for a restaurant, but absolutely no guarantee behind their food. Recommend avoid at all costs!
(1)Adrienne B.
We've been ordering from rebellion for years and it's always hit or miss. We know we're taking a chance everytime and are usually ok with the long delivery times and occasional crappy food. Because when it's good...it's really good! We stopped ordering for a while a few months ago because the person taking our order was so rude and our food was cold and disgusting. But we kept on giving them a chance in the hope it's a good night there. Last time we ordered there (a few weeks ago, just found this is my drafts) it was cold, soggy and basically inedible. Extra pickles on the sandwich were underneath the veggie burger, a giant soggy handful (like a joke)and the bread was green and soggy. Gross! The seitan wings were rubbery, and inedible. The teriyaki sauce was spilled on everything else in the bag too. Sloppy mess. Shit happens, we are human. We just find the service there rude across the board, regardless of the 20% tip we always add on-line for driving cold food a few blocks away. I have to say that I really used to love this place. But it keeps going down and it doesn't do any good to complain. I could go on. I really want them to make it.. great concept. But we've given them way too much $ over the years.
(2)Jay P.
I wish I could rate this 0/5 stars. Worst food I've EVER had. This is the first review I have ever written in my life. I thought I needed to write one so no one had to suffer through the prison-like slop this restaurant serves. HA, restaurant, it doesn't even deserve to be called a food service establishment. It's more like a crap factory. Avoid at all costs. We ordered the pizza, which was about Pizza Hut quality probably worse actually. We also got the mozzarella sticks, which were uncooked and dry in the middle. Lastly, we ordered the vegan wings, which were by far the worst version of vegan wings I've had to date. They tasted like dog food, were soggy and hardly cooked through and to add vomit to the crap they served us they didn't even give us ranch or blue cheese to disguise the terrible taste. All of the food was cold upon pick-up. DO NOT GET FOOD FROM HERE. YOU'RE BETTER OFF EATING LEAVES FROM THE TREES OUTSIDE YOUR HOUSE!!!
(1)Caitlin P.
If you are a Vegan you must try The Rebellion! I had the veggie calzone and it was awesome and so big, at least 3 solid meals for one person. I also got the fire vegan 'chicken' wings they were delicious; they even had vegan ranch dressing for dipping which helped because these babies were hot. I am so impressed with their topping selections for every one, loads of meat and meat subsitute options which I really appreciate. It is great to see a restuarant thinking outside of the pizza box! They have great daily specials which I found on their website, you better know by now that I will be going back on Thursdays for 10% off vegan options!
(4)Brian D.
Ordered Food Through Mile High Menus but that wasn't the issue it took an hour to get my food once i did both the chicken cordon blue sandwiches i ordered where completely raw i even took pictures it was so bad it looked like it was a fresh chicken breast from the store.... Gross... Anyways all my food was cold the sides i ordered and all but they only remade are sandwiches that took almost another hour to get.. The big problem was when the lady brought are sandwiches and she said "she thought the chicken was precooked come to find out its not"!!! So never eating again!!! think they would no if there chicken is fresh or not....!!!???By Lindsey G Sorry Brian for using your yelp!! Haha!!

Drive by this place, don't stop. Take the flyer they mailed you and toss it. Or just cut to the chase and go to Jimano's, Colore, or Genarro's. Any of which are worlds better. I ordered food for delivery. After waiting an hour for my food I decided to call them. The fella that answered said they had tried to call me, since they couldn't find my house. This didn't happen. I had no missed calls. Obviously trying to cover up their inability to deliver a pizza. They did deliver my order about an hour and forty five minutes AFTER I ordered it. They couldn't even refire the fries! My food arrived cold and hard. They have a good menu but terrible execution.
(1)Dave C.
What a treat for vegan and vegetarians alike. You can get everything on the menu with substitute meat. They even have fake bacon! My go to's: Vegetarian BBQ Chicken Pizza--Delicious BBQ pizza with onions, "chicken", BBQ sauce, and "BACON"! BBQ Bacon Burger (sub meats)--Delicious BBQ hamburger with onions, "beef", BBQ sauce, and of course "BACON"! And finally, Deep Fried Snickers Bar--Delicious caramel, nougat, peanuts, and chocolate neatly packed in a deep fried bed. Unfortunately, no fake bacon on this guy. Oh, and don't forget to dip the crust in honey.
(5)Jenny V.
This place is pretty awesome, I don't care what anyone says. Being a vegetarian with a sensitivity to lactose can be really hard, and can make the whole pizza experience really difficult. Thankfully, The Rebellion set up shop in my neighborhood. The Vegan options here are ALWAYS awesome. Yeah, they're a tad pricey, but they use commercial vegan substitutes that aren't cheap. Pretty decent vegan pizza, delivered? I'm alll over that bidness.
(4)Michael M.
It was a dark and stormy night... well it was actually. And we were desperate for dinner so we stopped in. I saw the review for a deep fried snickers and decided to give the rebellion a go. Unfortunately if it's raining or cold, dining there won't be an option, i.e. no comfortable inside dining. But the main problem wasn't with the the lack of seating. It was with the lack of meat on my steak sandwich. $7 for the sandwich alone, two 2"x3"x1/4" piece of tough meat and a bit of bbq sauce. Not what I'd expected. The pizza on the other hand is decent, the dough is a little sweet though. Many non-dairy cheese options and good for the price. Also, the deep fried candy bars are a treat. But don't wear your white shirt when enjoying these.
(1)Judi B.
Great wings. Delivery time was reasonable and worth it. Definitely recommend for wings.
(5)Bradyn P.
After a minor issue the manager made everything great! I would definitely recommend going here if you're craving some vegan pizza! Thanks for being here rebellion!
(4)Hollie W.
Now with vegan wings and cookies! Squeeeeee.... Happy to report that the speed demon delivery driver was a one time event and all pizzas have since then showed up round and pretty as pie. :) Vegan tip: they offer both Daiya and Follow Your Heart vegan cheese for your pizza and I really like the FYH cheese,
(5)Michelle W.
Great wings and pizza! Fast friendly delivery.
(4)Dominica H.
Not in love with the pizza, I've found better vegan pie elsewhere in Denver, but this is decent. Also, skip the seitan buffalo wings. We got an order and the seitan wasn't fried or anything. Just drab, floppy slabs of seitan in sauce. Bummed!
(3)Andy S.
Let me start off by saying... I used to love Rebellion Pizza as it's hard to find delivery by a locally-owned pizza company who also serves vegetarian options for everything, I used to regularly pick up my pizza just to spend time talking to the staff and they all were super friendly. Until they screwed up... I ordered from Rebellion twice a week, one driver even remembered my order but when the owner took the order he was so rushed he almost forgot to ask how I was paying and that wasn't the worst of it. He managed to not write down that I am vegetarian. In 13 years of being a vegetarian no business that I've been a regular of has ever refused to correct a mistake like this and used profanity with me to "set the record straight." Good luck staying in business when you treat people like this.
(1)michelle m.
Really friendly service also decent vegan options wish I wasn't so stuffed from my pizza and seitan buffalo wings which I took both home cause I was so full. Check it out...its totally PUNXXXX
(4)Michelle P.
FOOD WAS AVERAGE. Don't bother if you're not vegan. Problem was the service. Kept getting it wrong, then didn't bring me a fork to eat calzone, didn't bring cold soda which I specifically asked for, didn't bring napkins. Paid over $30 for two people to eat. Don't mess with the appetizers, they may be cheap, but they're still not worth it. Would not recommend, will not go back.
(1)Katie L.
Ordered some snackies for delivery the other night. I have been wanting to try the wings here for awhile so we ordered 10 fire wings. DELICIOUS! Good heat and flavor and the accompanying ranch was really good as well. We also ordered a medium veggie pizza with buffalo meat. The pizza was fine but not amazing. I liked that it comes with a packet of honey for whatever you wish. Delivery is free and all in all it came to around $26 w/ tip.
(4)Rob K.
First time "rebelling" and thought the food was fine. If you're a vegetarian and looking for food to go, this is a good option. Tried some of their oven baked fries - those rocked. Fried pickles spears were good. Had a small Hawaiian pizza with the lightlife bacon which was ok, nothing mind blowing. Enjoyed the seitan buffalo wings which are the same as Watercourse and City O City, but baked at TR. Def would go with the fire. BBQ wings were ok, but the sauce wasn't quite doing the BBQ thang. If they find a few BBQ options (Kansas City [hint]) those wings would be awesome. Definitely will go back sometime.

Thanks to one of those Denver Daily Deals, the bf and I got to order $20 worth of food for $10. Holla! We ordered a large pizza, with half pepperoni and half vegetarian "chicken." I also ordered the mild vegan wings because I heard good things about their wings. I was really psyched to find a pizza place with veggie meat options, which is what boosts Rebellion an extra star. We ordered delivery, as per the instructions of the Daily Deal, and received our pizza in about less than 30 min. Some of the other reviews criticized the ordering out and delivery, but we had no problems at all. Actually, I kinda sorta don't know where I live (give me a break, I just moved in and I'm only here for 2 more weeks ;), but I gave him the cross streets and he actually knew exactly where I was! Hooray! Also, the delivery was fast and pleasant. Our food arrived in one place, looking great. The bad things: We didn't like their crust... at all. It was really chewy... probably one of the chewiest crusts I've had ever. The wings were less than stellar. Rebellion needs to take a page out of the Yard House's book and try to make their wings SLIGHTLY more wing-like... they were just slabs of wings coated in sauce. Okay, but nothing mind-blowing. The bf said the pizza was only okay, although he did eat it all. I REALLY liked my pizza; it tasted really good with the mock chicken. Yum! The pizzas are fairly expensive, but they do offer coupons. The burger prices are great. Next time we would each order a burger... mine would be a veggie one, of course! All in all, not bad, but not out of this world. I would order again in a heartbeat, but that's because I like the veggie options. The boyfriend would probably do otherwise, since he's not a vegetarian and didn't think the pizza was worth the price.
(4)Sarah H.
The pizza is okay, but what really rocks at Rebellion are the wings. The mild have a surprising amount of kick to them and they always come out fried just right. They've just added some FANTASTIC vegan cookies as well - I like the lemon poppyseed best. The fried candy bars are also worth ordering.
(4)Samantha S.
The Rebellion's food is borderline inedible. 0/5 stars would be more accurate. I was really excited by all of the meat-free options, but clearly they exist solely to trick unsuspecting vegetarians/vegans like myself that they have quality food. Where to begin...our delivery order took like an hour to arrive, which I would totally excuse had the food been even a little bit better. I ordered a burger with a 'vegan patty' (some tasteless slab that is of far less quality than anything you will find at the grocery store) and decided to splurge and add 'vegan bacon' for $1.25 more. I even decided to treat myself to some BBQ 'Seitan Wings' for almost TEN DOLLARS.My fiance ordered the Hawaiian Burger. Ok, so they forgot my vegan bacon that I had paid for, the seitan wings consisted of cut-up pieces of barely cooked, floppy seitan covered in BUFFALO sauce. And I've already explained the vegan patty. Completely disgusting. So if they can't figure out veg food, they're at least really good at cooking burgers right? Absolutely not. In my fiance's words, "it tastes like something I ate in my high school cafeteria." The burger patty was definitely of some pre-frozen, Costco variety. I cannot stress enough how 1. gross this place is, 2. how bad they are at cooking veg food, and 3. how bad they are at cooking anything. DO NOT EAT HERE.
(1)steve c.
I really wanted to like this place: black building with a Lutheran Church direction sign on the side: funny. I was going to hit Dairy Queen for something to drink and saw this place next door. Was tempted to order a Buffalo Burger (special of the day), but saw one coming out and opted for pizza slices. I'm not vegetarian, but meat-limited. I am, however, a cheese addict. Sorry to report that the pizza and cheese lacked the flavor and consistency I like and am accustomed to at pizza restaurants. For those with different food consciousness, who are used to alternative cheeses, etc., you might enjoy this. For me, it was a new taste experience when I didn't want one.
(2)Darcie M.
Oh The Rebellion, I think I've just fallen in love with you. It's hard to find good pizza when you can't do dairy or gluten but luckily, the one they make here is pretty darn tasty. And I love that they do free (and fast) delivery in my neighborhood. It may seem a bit pricey but the price is about the same as what you'll pay for gluten free/dairy free pizza at other places around Denver.
(5)Hillary L.
I was looking for a place that offered both pizza and salad for delivery. Which is actually harder to find than expected. The combo is a natural for me, but apparently for others, more cheese covered bread (breadsticks) seems to be the better combo. (??) Ok, well I found this place while doing the obligatory online search. I read the manifesto, the ingredients (vegetarian/vegan) were tempting. Feeling adventurous I decided to go for it. I got a small salad and a speciality medium pizza. Damage: $17 plus. After 45 minutes it arrived, wow was I disappointed. Toppings were far and few between. The cheese was rubbery. The crust was sweet. And it was so small. The salad was was also small, less than a handful of lettuce. I get it, you are a rebel. You supply vegans with more options. And for that I'm sure you are appreciated. But as far as the rest of us go, you are just another over -priced hip joint. My search for the perfect delivered salad/ pizza saga continues.
(2)Dirk D.
They fix a wicked pizza and always give you some honey for the crust. Their salads are tasty and they make a mean buffalo burger. They have a vegan selection too...if that's your deal. I work near this place and they even deliver. It's a great place to support since the guy that owns it always is friendly and works his ass off when we go in. Join the Rebellion and Support local business, not giant corporate machines.
(5)Daron S.
Moved into the neighborhood and have had their pizzas a few times. They have fresh ingredients and nice fluffy crust that they give honey packets for! They have a full menu of salads and burgers, which I will be trying in the future. They also have a bunch of substitutes if you are a vegan. A great local pizza joint and the owner is super nice too!
(4)Jessica J.
I've eaten here twice, and both times I was pleased. The crust is sweet, and I was told ahead of time so I was ready for it. I'm sure it can be a little bit of a surprise if you aren't expecting it. But I liked it. Its more of a chewy crust than crispy. They use LOTS of cheese, which makes me quite happy. The first time we ordered a pizza with lots of veggies. Lots and LOTS of veggies! The next time, I ordred the meats pizza with a coupon I got in the mail. They put grilled chicken on their meat pizza, which added great texture! Usually I'm not a fan of chicken on my pizza, but since it was just grilled and not seasoned, it added texture but not funky flavor. I also like that they put their toppings under the cheese, so they dont fall off when I'm trying to eat! I rarely order dessert with pizza. However, when deep fried candy bars are on the menu, I must indulge. The deep fried twix is divine. When its still hot the carmel is still melted. Oh. My. God. Love it! The only downside is this place is hard to find, especially in the dark! Its a black building with no real distingushing marks on the side, so you can't see it until you pass it! I just remember its the building on the west side of broadway between Iliff and Evans with the big clock on top. I realized this past time, with my coupon, that I am within delivery distance, so perhaps I'll never have to find it again. They can find me! Especially since they offer free delivery. I will order from these guys again soon. But for now, I'm going to eat the leftover Rebellion pizza conveniently located in my fridge about 10 ft away!
(4)Dan W.
I am going to give this place a sketchy 3-star review. There was a confusing sweetness to the pizza and it came with complimentary Honey. That's probably the main reason it's barely a 3-star review. The texture of the crust was fine, but I didn't like all of the perceived sweetness. The cheese was also a little chewy. I thought I would order from here because I didn't feel like dealing with Anthony's or Pasquini's during their busy hours plus this place is really close and I thought I would give them a try. Service was fine, they delivered two new pizzas in well under 30 minutes.
(3)Kelli A.
The dough is too sweet. The marinara tastes like BBQ sauce and is also too sweet. I got the Works and the cheese is just melted on top of all the toppings so it just lifts off in a sheet. I give it 2 stars because they use natural and/organic ingredients. I haven't tried any of their other menu items so I don't know of they excel in another area. I will not order from them again.
(2)Todd J.
I just picked up a med pizza with two toppings, It was a painful 14 bucks but I heard it was good. When I got it home it was realy only a 10 inch instead of 12. The outside crust edge was 2" wide. The taste was okay but way too sweet. My seven year old liked it but Im not impressed. I feel ripped off and won't be going there again.
(2)Rebecca D.
Over it. I really tried to support this place, but it kepts disappointing me, Every time I ordered, it was either SUPER late, or botched in someway (wrong soda, cold, burnt, bacon so hard I couldn't eat it, undercooked, not something I ordered.....I could go on). When I call in to express the incorrect/bad order I received the owner is condescending and rude. It seems that I am not the only person to experience this issue. I hope they move on soon so another place can open there as we are in need of better food delivery in this area.
(1)Tara B.
3 Words: Fried. Candy. Bars. Awwwww yeah. Snickers, KitKat, Twix, Whatchamacallit, Butterfinger - you name it, they got it. FRIED. We didn't plan on ordering fried candy bars, but once you find out about them, how can you resist? The rest of the menu is equally impressive. They are clearly very concerned with quality ingredients and great tasting food. The pizza is very good. It's different from any other pizza I've had. The thickness is about the same as a handtossed style pizza, but I think there is a little bit of honey in the crust, because it has a hint of sweetness to it. I like it, but I was a little surprised the first time I took a bite. We like the Meat Lovers pizza the best. It has pepperoni, sausage, chicken and bacon on it. The sausage is interesting because it is sliced like the pepperoni in slices! One time we got some jalapenos on the pizza, but I could tell right away they were pickled and not fresh and prefer it the other way. The appetizers are good too! The jalapeno poppers are delicious. They are huge and filled with the perfect amount (a lot) of cream cheese! These definitely have fresh jalapenos in them! The onion rings are were also solid as were the cheese sticks. The chicken fingers were only so-so. The prices are phenomenal. We recently ordered a medium Meat Lovers pizza, 2 orders of jalapeno poppers and 2 fried candy bars for $25. They said it'd be here in 45 minutes and they were here in 30. I was a little surprised because they bring the card reader to the door when you pay by the card, but now I think it's really cool. Forgive me, but I feel the need for some David Bowie. Rebel rebel, youve torn your dress Rebel rebel, your face is a mess Rebel rebel, how could they know? Hot tramp, I love you so!
(4)Christine S.
This place is the best! I am truly addicted to their Mediterranean pizza! It's delish! I've never ordered a pizza I dislike from them. The delivery time seems to take too long, but only because I am waiting so anxiously! Their crust/dough is a bit sweet, but I like it, it's different and still yummy. A lot of people have said it's too doughy or undercooked, but I think it's just the style, I've never found it to be bad, crispy enough for me!! I have never ordered any of their vegan options, as I am a meat eating mofo, but I love the fact that they have that as an option. And the prices are great! For a specialty medium (12") with tax it's $14, which I think it a great price considering it's not some giant franchise!!!

The Rebellion = BIG FATTY FAIL I was so, so excited about this place because of their vegetarian friendly options and their new 'vegan chicken wings'. I called and ordered for pickup, and who I talked to was very friendly. I ordered two medium pizzas and the mild vegan hot wings. $7 for 10 was already kind of a stretch, but I've had vegan wings before that I really liked and were similar to real boneless chicken wings, and these were nothing of the sort. I took home my food, and opened the wings only to find nastiness. They looked as if a slice of a loaf of seitan was sliced up and then dredged through Franks hot sauce (see picture). It wasn't warm, it wasn't fried, it was spongy and looked more like soggy steak fries than anything remotely resembling hot wings. I took one bite, took pictures, and then threw the whole thing away - and we very rarely throw away food. The pizza was dry and not cheesy or saucy at all, it tasted more like the old version of Dominoes that had been sitting around for a week. Well, my husband wasn't happy that we wasted $7 on the wings (let alone the pizza). So, very nicely, he called and asked to speak to a manager and asked if we could bring them back and either get our money back or exchange them for real chicken wings (he's not a vegetarian). The manager (who we later also found out is the OWNER, named Boyd) became very rude and used profanity while trying to explain to him that 'Of course they're going to taste like shit if you're not a vegan'. He absolutely refused to do anything about it, and that if that was what we ordered, then we should deal with it, even if we're unhappy. My husband tried to remain calm but express that it was unacceptable, and still, the owner absolutely would not hear any of it. The owner even dared him to put up a negative review, so that's what we're doing! We are both unhappy with our experience here and want to make it known that this is not a local business to support if their customer service and attitudes are going to be that terrible, even if people think the food is good, (which it isn't). This is the worst pizza experience we've ever had, and we are pretty tolerable people. Seriously, skip this place and don't go here.
(1)Alexis D.
The Rebellion has some delicious options, especially if you're vegan! The vegan pizza...especially with Follow your Heart "cheese" ... Is amazing and their vegan BBQ seitan wings are delicious! Very reasonably priced. My only problems with this place: they take a while to get the food out and there isn't really any place to sit if it's cold out. I wish they would deliver.
(5)Michelle M.
As a vegan, I love a good pizza that I can actually eat with some sort of tasty fake cheese. Seeing that this place had a unique bunch of pies, I thought I'd check it out. Even though the menu says that any of their specialty pies can be made vegan, this apparently doesn't apply to the chicken ranch. The guy @ the counter was kind of a jerk about it, but whatever. Wound up getting the BBQ pizza. Pretty good. Not the best, but decent. Sucks that there isn't any indoor seating, so if you don't live around there, then it's just not worth the trip. If you're a vegan tho this pizza beats bland City 0' City & even blander Zpizza.

Up until I discovered the new Sweet Action Ice Cream in my neighborhood, I was proudly extolling the virtues of The Rebellion Pizza as my Favorite New Business in Denver, to all who would listen. I've mostly had their vegan pizzas, and they are excellent. Finally Denver's vegans & friends-or-partners-of-vegans no longer have to choose between a boring Domino's pizza with no cheese and a $25 city o' city pizza with a bland crust. I love the crust at The Rebellion - ample and flavorful. The sauce is also tasty (a little sweet as other reviews have noted, but I actually like that). And the prices are fantastic. I have tried one non-vegan pizza as well -- the Mediterranean I think it was called, and it was also quite tasty. Also happy with their grilled cheese ($3.50!), fries, and onion rings, when you're in the mood for something more on the fast food side of things. The owner is always really friendly & always remembers us. And I really like that he founded this business w/ a very specific vision and purpose (as outlined in his "Manifesto" on the menu). Happy to keep supporting the Rebellion! I only wish they delivered to my address (I'm just a few blocks out of their zone), but really, it's probably for the best that they don't. It would be just a little too easy to default to ordering out way too often.

One star is a gift for this place. We live like 3 blocks from this place, so we stopped in on a Friday and picked up a menu. The prices were very reasonable, and their "manifesto" regarding ingredients was interesting, so we gave it a shot. The first problem occurred when the delivery driver brought the wrong pizza. An honest mistake. We immediately called, and the manager answered and advised that a second pizza would be out shortly, which is fine, but he also mentioned that they had just "fired" the delivery driver. Did we really need to know this? 30 minutes later, the correct pizza arrives, from a different delivery person. The pizza was correct in toppings, but was very undercooked and not sliced! I attempted to eat it, but it was ridiculous, especially for our first order. We called again, and advised that this was our first order from the place and that the service and quality of the food was unacceptable and we would just like a refund. I am not the kind of person that does this unless it is warranted. The manager was almost combative to my girlfriend upon this request. We then decided to return the pizzas to the establishment to make sure we got our refund. This place is in big trouble if what we saw was any indication. Very poor service for starters, and the menu is very misleading regarding the quality of the pizza...it was not good in the small amount I ate. All in all, we had high hopes for this place and our first experience could not have been any worse.

One of the first places in town to offer vegan pizza with tofurkey meats, etc., and definitely one of the first businesses to offer Daiya. Hell, they sold me a 5 pound BAG of daiya before daiya was on the scene. Yeah! No where to sit, though I guess they have a patio for the summer...anywhoo, yay for their options!

Picture 9 o'clock at night..working late...tired...and hungry. New neighborhood where do we get pizza? I googled pizza in our area and they came up. Shanette and I were stoked by the manifesto listed on their website. It is so in line with our own thinking. I also enjoy that their price's are not crazy expensive. Plus they were willing to make changes to our pizza and didn't blink an eye when I asked for chopped garlic on the side. Love that. We both loved the pizza. Our only constructive criticism is that we would both prefer the crust to be cooked a bit longer. It wasn't crispy in the slightest. Other that that we would love to devour more. And in the future we will! I am also excited to see that they take special care to consider the veggies and vegans out there. I do love that. They also offer sandwiches and even buffalo burgers. Yum. Keep doing what you are doing Rebellion...we are with you. =]

Not impressed at all with the first time. We too got the flyer on our door and had to try it... a new local business with a great variety of food on their menu (burgers, pizzas, salads, wings, etc.). We got a simple, typical order, pizza and wings. Both were bland and dry. Not much meat on the wings and like I said the lack of sauce dried those suckers out pretty quick. They claim their pizza crust is made from scratch and organic.... errrr, it didn't taste like it. I was really disappointed and have no desire to try them again... unless they get enough good reviews on here I think I'm gonna hafta pass!!
(1)Molly S.
Any specialty pizza available vegan style?! Excellent!! Love the variety, the staff was friendly and patient and the (vegan) pizza was tasty. And local and fresh makes it that much more appealing. We'll continue to go back.
(4)Dan H.
Some of the best vegan pizza we have ever had. We LOVE it!

Ordered delivery tonight from this promising University neighborhood local boasting green energy and fresh ingredients. Opting instead for unhealthy comfort type foods, the hubby and I ordered the chicken strips, app sampler, and buffalo burger. I asked how heavily breaded the strips were (because I prefer lightly breaded chicken strips, even if I am splurging on fried food), and was told it was "medium" breading, whatever that means. Be warned: there was more batter than chicken; which was dry and rubbery. The onion rings were breaded in a similar fashion, only instead of dry and rubbery, the onions were terribly thin and soggy, ensconced in thick chunky layers of golden brown batter. Now, even though I like onion rings with a decent amount of batter, it is crucial to have substantial onions inside. Oh well. I think next time I will try something from the vegetarian or vegan menu.

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon these guys by accident. Since we're both vegan, it's nearly impossible to find good vegan food that's cheap in Denver. We ended up ordering a pizza, bread sticks and a side salad. We meant to order the pizza with no cheese but forgot to say that so it came with vegan cheese which actually turned out to be really good. The veggies on the pizza were also plentiful and good. I wasn't the biggest fan of the style of bread sticks but my girlfriend liked them. They were crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. They weren't bad but they're not my favorite. The side salad was good as well. It had a good variety of veggies inside even though it was just a side salad. If you're vegan in Denver, it's definitely a great place to try. We were able to talk with the guys who had started the place and they were great. My only complaint is that they don't deliver very far north so I'm out of they're delivery area.
(5)Danny S.
Really like this place, delivery is always pretty quick and the pizza is awesome. Only complaint, being a huge garlic/cheese bread fan, is that there was one time it was entirely too salty, to the point where it wasn't edible. It's always pretty salty, but when they lay off on it everything is pretty good!
(4)Jeremy P.
The pizza was pretty good for vegan, and the cheese was better than I expected. The vegan wings were tasty but more like flavored strips, so you definitely have to eat with a fork. I would return to try more of the menu.
(4)Ann S.
By far our favorite place for vegan pizza and burgers! I would like whole wheat buns and crust, but not a deal breaker. They are the nicest people ever, especially the hard working owner, and are VERY supportive of the veg community. We would support them just for that reason, but we get the bonus of MANY yummy vegan options and very reasonable prices! It's a pleasure to support a small business that bends over backwards to cater to vegans!! We hope they will open a sit down place very soon, because we drive a long way to eat there. Lovin' the patio this time of year, though! :-)
(5)Zach K.
I was excited for this place but will never order from the again. The delivery took FOREVER and when I got the pizza the bottom was completely burned. Never again and it tasted like cheap delivery.

Loved the fact that this pizza place offered vegan options for all their pizzas. The pizza was yummy, dough was delicious and service was great. I only wish there was a place to sit inside.
(4)Sally C.
I just ordered this tonight and I am pleased! Its always nice to have vegan options at restaurants. I ordered "the works" pizza (vegan) and the vegan wings. Now I will start off by saying the pizza was great! The wings, I might have liked more if I didn't just eat city'o'city's vegan wings yesterday. These don't even compare to their's but I have yet to find ANY that do. They vegan ranch was really good too! I will be ordering again, maybe Ill skip the wings and try something else next time.
(4)Aimee M.
Placed an order for pick up because we hadn't been here before and we wanted to check it out. I too liked their "manifesto" about using organic ingredients and keeping prices down. We got the Chicken BBQ pizza and the crust was soft, chewy and slightly sweet. I liked it. I did feel that the toppings were a little bit scarce and could have used a little more BBQ sauce. The cheese was delicious! Also got jalapeno poppers and oven baked fries. Oooog, the poppers definitely had kind of a freezer burn taste so I wouldn't recommend them. The fries were great and had some kind of spice to them. Pretty good overall but could improve a couple of things.
(3)David W.
Good pizza and great options for vegans and omnivores alike. The vegan wings, though....not good. Way undersauced, dry, gross. Do yourself a favor and stick to Watercourse/City o City for your wing fix and let Rebellion stick to what it knows: delivering tasty pizza.
(3)Kathy T.
The pizza was o.k. We had both the pizza and a couple of sandwiches. The sandwiches were not that great for the money. I would probably order the pizza again but not the veggie burgers. It mostly take out except for a few tables on the side of the building and when we went it was too hot so we had to take our order with us.
(2)J H.
I just had to write a review for this place. I can't really speak for the "regular" pizzas and products because we're vegan and haven't actually been able to order pizza for like ever. But their vegan pizza is pretty darn good. I like it better than City o' City's, actually. The crust is great, my daughter eats it up. I'm quite surprised with how well it turned out, actually. We've been like 6 times. Maybe if you eat "normally" and have like 30 other options it might not be the best, but I love this place for their service to the vegan community.

(5)Tim J.
(5)Abbie Rae H.
And now they have Daiya! Vegans (and everyone else), get thee to the Rebellion. Rebellion, get thee a downtown location!
(5)Stephanie L.
This place makes a darn good pie! Admittedly, I've only ever tried their vegan versions, but really, really enjoyed every pizza I've had from there. The crust is perfect and the toppings are fresh and delicious. We like to pick up our pizza and head for Belleview Park with the kiddos.
(5)Elizabeth W.
(4)Ronald S.
ive had a few vegan pizzas in my travels, even though i am not a vegan - i think pizza is the one thing keeping me from becoming vegan and i am always willing to see if i can make the leap from vegetarian to vegan via pizza. rebellion makes a pretty decent pie, and the daiya cheese isn't bad - most of the other vegan pizzas i have had use daiya as well. the crust here was sweet and cooked well, a little brown crunchyness. the tomato sauce i think was the weak point for me - it just didnt fit with the whole picture of this pizza. one other thing for me that was disappointing initially but i got over it was the conveyor belt oven - i dont think this kind of cooking of pizza really exudes a passion in pizza, it makes me think of dominos and places that worry about quantity and speed and not quality - but after eating the pizza it wasn't as bad as i had expected, really it was pretty good for an out of the ordinary pie. we had a vegan pepperoni and a regular (not vegan) pepperoni pie and the non vegan one looked better (and came with honey of course the vegan one did not) i didnt really like the vegan pepperoni and would probably try something else next time. if you want delivery and are vegan looking for pizza this would be a good option. if you are a raving pizza fanatic and like cheese, this probably wouldn't be on the pie to-do list. parking in back. black building. black pizza boxes. interesting place. no seating indoors. on a nice day, thats no problem.
(3)Heidi S.

(5)steve c.
(2)Tara B.

(1)Vince R.

(5)Vee O.

(1)Kari A.

BLECK!
(3)M N.
(3)Amanda T.

Much better experience this time around, we will be back.

dude, even hung over and starving, this is the worst pizza ive ever had. tastes like lunchables. also, they take forever.

I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit nervous ordering delivery because of all of the reviews. However, the delivery only took about 20 mins! I was pleasantly surprised and the food was good :) I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato.. yum!

Yummy Vegan Pizza!

it isn't often that I write a positive yelp, but for the rebellion I will. the rebellion has great food, made by friendly people in a very timely manner! I recommend the bison burgers and chicken burgers, great sandwiches, and make it your own with the "your perfect sandwich" option.

I have been going here since they opened. I can't speak to their delivery time because we always pick it up. It is ready quickly and it is always delicious. Their crust is yummy and the sauce is probably the best I've ever had ( and pizza is my favorite food so I've tried many many many.) It is tomato goodness.

Bummed!

Really friendly service also decent vegan options wish I wasn't so stuffed from my pizza and seitan buffalo wings which I took both home cause I was so full. Check it out...its totally PUNXXXX
