I came here with my boyfriend after a 15 hour drive from Illinois. The food is delicious and the hospitality is even better. The hostess, Carmen, I believe was so nice and started up a conversation with us right away. We informed her that we were out there to vacation but to also find a neighborhood to live in. Later on in the meal the manager, Patrick, came over and spoke with us as well. He even gave us phone numbers of realtors to help make the moving process a little easier. As far as the food goes, my boyfriend got an omelette, which he devoured. I got the cinnamon apple crepe. Everything tasted great. I highly recommend this place.

I had recently moved into the neighborhood. I just love to do brunch. So there I was. I ordered an Orange County. All I can say. It was disgusting! The omelet was rubbery. Tasted like those eggs that come out from a box. I had to search for the avocado and the cheese was some tasteless yellow gooey thing on the top. I ended up throwing up in the restaurant bathroom...UUGGGHHH. How hard is it to make a decent omelet..if not a great one. One basic requirement though....use real eggs!!

I lovED this location before I ran into their newest manager. Male, .....Hispanic, (NO RACISM please) Ok, soooo here is the situation....I was eating brunch with two business associates who happened to be black, I happen to be white. (NO RACISM please).....I had coupons to use. My printer printed a couple more than I needed so, we each gave a discount coupon to a table! YeS!!! I get it...They are trying to make money. So, we gave out 3 coupons for discounts to people we didn't know, we were reprimanded by this manager and one of the female (longer termer) who I won't describe because you would know here when you saw her if I did and she does make her living doing this work as a professional waitress, needless to say was REPRIMANDED for doing this and then I was interrogated about how I got the coupon and if I was the person named on the coupon. ARE YOU KIDDING!!! LOL So anyhow, he proceeded to wag his finger at me and argue his point with me. WHO DOES THAT? Nowadays it seems like everyone in the customer service industry feels the need to be right? When did the customer is always (OK 87%, by my standards because I am the damn bitch spending her money with you) AND TIP YOU!!! go by the wayside because the service person "Knows, they are right!!!" Comon people. So, I say to you, if The Delectable Egg can' t give 4 tables a simple discount, very I think it was freaking 15%, seriously, then I'm not interested in patronizing them. What really stinks is that I have a free breakfast coming, do I go get it and then make my stand or do I let it go and never use it again, and loose out on having a "know it all, judmental woman who makes her living by waiting tables (no issue with this what-so-ever, believe me, I raised my younger kiddos doing it in college) wag her finger at me about being nice and giving a discount....????? HMMMM, as I scratch my head with my middle finger.

Been to this breakfast place a few times and I always get one of their Benedict dishes not sure which one maybe the California or the green eggs. It's pretty tasty but nothing crazy or unique about it. This place has been good each time though the service is not great. The restaurant is never dull when I go and it usually takes a while to get the order taken and so on. Last time my coffee wS forgotten about for nearly 20 minutes even after I reminded our sever several times that I had ordered a coffee. The decor and ambience is old, not modern at all. I think if you have guests coming into town there are definitely more hip and fun places to take them to for brunch. This place although nothing wrong with the food, is just average to me and just like any other breakfast place you could go to like village inn or ihop- don't get me wrong I love those places but would really rather enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant just as much as the food and try something different. This is a good spot if you're hungry and want a decent breakfast experience .

My go to dish when trying out new breakfast places is Eggs Benedict - and this place scores high marks for theirs. Delicious. I have lived near this place for years and finally was invited by a friend to have breakfast there. Why did I wait so long? Overall the amount of food and the prices are a decent value. I will be back.

I always wonder how this place stays in business.....oh wait, it's because people like me actually go back when it's not stellar but it's the only option in that area, but I've gone for the last time now. I've had quite a number of things from their menu and nothing is great, everything is average, at best. Most of the items I've had are pretty blah, I've had food come out cold, and I've been pretty disappointed in many aspects. Most recently I ordered the fresh fruit and granola crepes with yogurt. First of all they need to amend the menu, it's not plural, it's "crepe" or at least that's what I received. I received a darling little crepe that was filled with nothing but cantaloupe chopped up into tiny pieces and 2 surprising grapes inside the crepe. Garnishing the crepe was a dollop of yogurt, a few paper thin slices of banana and possibly the total of 1 strawberry chopped up. Off to the side were a few of those teeny tiny canned blueberries...and this is June folks, blueberries are plentiful and relatively inexpensive. Oh, I forgot to mention I did receive a granule or two of granola sprinkled on top---almost lost them in the melon though! The worst thing about the meal is that it is accompanied by a side of awful cooked apples in a horrible and sweet gel of some sort. By the way, I'm not saying this is the worst experience I've had here, once the "crepe" was filled with honeydew melon and nothing more---that was beyond bad. There is a great breakfast restaurant in another city (a small chain) that does a similar meal with 2 very full crepes with a multitude of different fruits, an entire ramiken of granola AND they give you a large freshly baked muffin---all for the price of The Delectable Egg's poor attempt at this meal.

This place is okay. A little disappointed in service and quality if food. I might come back for redemption points. Not feeling the long wait for my check though.
(3)Amandla A.
Food and service has really declined since new management came in. I have waited over an hour for my food and when it comes out it is rock hard and not even edible. On the plus side there are some staff that are friendly and very attentive.
(2)Alan K.
I love eating at this place. Great service and food. There is a reason it is so busy all the time!
(4)Brandon W.
Even though it only had 3 stars, I still wanted to give it a try since it's the only nearby breakfast place around I know of. All of the food was amazing! The only problem with this specific location is it's staff. Our server was decent, but she had her daughter, or someone's daughter, running around the restaurant while we were there. I know this because the little girl was helping them place silverware and set tables and stuff. Will not be coming back for this very reason unless servers can get over being lazy and unprofessional.
(3)Shawn G.
This is the local casual brunch and breakfast place for my friends and I in Lowry. The service is generally fast and friendly. The food is decent and really good sometimes. It's also reasonably priced. I definitely recommend it.

UPDATE: We decided to take the manager, Roberto Martinez, up on his offer to make things right. We are glad that we did! He was kind and generous (took the two highest priced entrees, plus two coffees off of our bill) this a.m. We sat in the same place (we're a party of six) and it was pleasant. We will return! Very disappointed this a.m. Food was fine. Our waitress was enthusiastic and thoughtful. The problem, you know by the two stars that there was one. We (six) were seated in the front at a circular table. About half way through our meal, a large party of five was seated directly behind at a four top booth, putting the fifth person on the end of the booth. That left maybe a couple of feet between our backs in a major route for all servers. I scooted in so that my torso was touching the table. REPEATEDLY I was bumped as servers moved through the restaurant. Spoke with the manager before we left, he apologized. He did not, however, offer any kind of comp. Hence, this review. We often meet my parents at this restaurant for breakfast. We will be looking elsewhere. UPDATE: We decided to take the manager, Roberto Martinez, up on his offer to make things right. Back to this great breakfast place! I am working down the omelettes because all the choices are too good to pick only one. Nice accommodations if you don't do cabs. You don't feel rush to eat and get out. Will be back next time I'm in town
(4)Katie R.
Every chance I get, I shout it from the rooftops, I LOVE BRUNCH!. I'm a sucker for a good Benedict, and Delectable Egg serves up just that! Bf and I came here on New Years Day and found it surprisingly low-key and perfect for what we were looking for...1) someplace reasonably priced 2) breakfast food! Although we came in around 1pm, it was relatively packed. We were promptly seated, and helped quickly. Let me say, the California Benedict was to.die.for. wow! perfect amounts of peppers, onions and mushrooms were added for a delicious flavor! My boyfriend enjoyed his simple breakfast of french toast and eggs as well. Overall, YUM and will return :)
(4)Chris G.
Wow this place is finger lickin good!! The service is great. They always have little colors and things for my baby daughter to play with. My food almost always comes out super fast. There french toast is really good. Oh.. And the Hashbrowns are pretty damn good too. Im a hashbrown connoisseur so yeah the are pretty good. ;-)
(5)B W.
Excellent breakfast spot and I'm an enormous breakfast fan!! I went to this place regularly for 4 years until I moved to the other side of town. Fantastic food, well priced, great staff. This location blocks cell reception though making it the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Can't go here to wait for an important call but then again, I'm usually eating!!
(4)Al J.
I call it the "Undelectable Egg". I gave this place three chances and disliked my food each time. I do like Village Inn and LePeep.
(1)Paul S.
While the food is exactly what I expected, nothing spectacular but hot, fresh and as ordered, the real reason for 5 stars was the service. Christine did a great job helping me. She explained everything, checked in at just the right intervals, and engaged in conversation with me and other tables showing real interest. I noticed the other servers did not have the same rapport with their tables. She is the one that deserves the 5 stars!

We were invited to a birthday brunch here. When you walk in it has the smell of an IHOP. I don't know what the smell is but it always smells like cheap, commercially made food to me. The staff was the best part of the meal. They were friendly and efficient. Our food arrived quickly. I ordered the peanut butter crunch French toast. It sounded like it was going to be coated in peanut butter, rolled in cornflakes and then griddled. It came out as regular French toast topped in PB and sprinkled with cornflakes. Not bad but something I could have made at home and not impressive. That was pretty much the way all the food was that I sampled. Decent but not fabulous or anything I would ever crave again.

This place is ordinary. The ingredients feel like the stuff you'd get at Safeway. Not particularly fresh but not past their date. When we were waiting in line, at the front, the hostess asked a father, three teenaged boys, and a 4-year-old "How many kids' menus do you want?" That's embarrassing to the teenagers. The omelette I had was on the small side, and didn't have that much filling. The tomatoes I ordered in place of toast were, as mentioned above, not particularly fresh. From the outside of the place, it looks a lot cleaner than it actually is. It's not dirty, per se, but there are places on the walls where the paint has chipped off and little bits of straw wrappers and food are here and there on the floor. It feels like these guys are on auto-pilot. They are in a great location for getting suburban customers, have enough to coast, and they're going with it.
(3)Erika M.
The delectable Egg comes correct every time I have walked in that door. What makes me love them more than anything is; the freshness of their food. The veggies and fruit are so fresh and delicious and I adore their hollandaise. I wish I could eat here twice a week for brunch, but this economy stops me from doing so. Even in a tougher financial time, I still come here to nosh and feast and so should you.
(4)Emilee D.
This place gets busy since it's the only breakfast joint in the area. Get here early on the weekends if you don't want to be on the wait list. The food is decent. I had the Idaho skillet and it did the job with filling me up. I love the green onions sprinkled on top of the potatoes. Gave it a good flavor. My friend's Denver omelette was pretty sad though. There were no tomatoes, barely any cheese, and only a sprinkle of chopped ham. It was also dry and overcooked. Service was pretty decent until we got to the end and needed our tab. Our server, when we finally tracked him down, said that they were having issues at the front with printing up the bill. I guess they were training a new cashier, but it took over 15min to get our tab. They do have a loyalty club card that you can sign up for and it's free. When you spend $100, you get $10.00 off your next visit. Since this is the only real breakfast venue in this area, $100 is highly attainable in a short period of time. I decided to sign up. Hopefully, my next visit will be a quicker one.
(3)Vilma S.
Came in since I had a free birthday entree. I usually get the eggs, bacon and French toast and it was served just right. The coffee was also very flavorful--so many places have free refills but the coffee is bitter--but not here. Waitress was very polite and efficient. Sign up for their E-Mail Loyalty Club to get specials.

We've been here an hour. No food in sight. A chain restaurant should be able to handle high volume. Update: food's here! Terrible. On of my benedicts is missing the tomato. Oops.

I'd give this a 3.5 stars, but alas I cannot, and it would be untrue to give it 4 (yet, I'm going to try it again). Having just moved into Lowry, I have been eager to scope out all the neighborhood eateries - and breakfast is my favorite. I finally got the chance to try Delectable Egg this morning, and hate to say it, because the place and people were great, but it was a little lackluster. I am a breakfast platter kinda gal, and so I ordered the usual: two scrambled eggs (with cheese), bacon, house potatoes, and wheat toast. I must compliment the bacon for being PERFECT - I asked for crispy, and I got crispy. However, the eggs were a little bland, and had a mysteriously low tide taste. The menu selection is great, and I will definitely be returning to this breakfastery to sample some of the other options. I ordered a seasonal pumpkin spice latte, which was great and came with a generous topping of whipped cream. I have faith in you, Delectable Egg! Don't let me down next time, and you'll get the four stars I want you to deserve.
(3)Joyce J.
Menu has many choices and attractively served. Food was tasty, hot and well prepared. Nice to sit on the patio during warm weather. Servers were pleasant and friendly. A positive experience and will definitely return.

Last weekend my friend and I decided that it would become our Sunday post-workout breakfast/lunch location. I've been to this location a couple of times prior. It's your average, everyday breakfast/lunch spot. The suburban location makes good sense. There's a parking lot (which makes it a lot more accessible than the downtown Denver location). The staff is friendly enough. The service is standard. The food is consistent. What will make me and my workout partner come back is the rewards program. I just signed up this weekend. You spend $100 and you earn a $10 credit. I'll take the 10 percent off my meal. This weekend I had an omelette and subbed my potatoes for cottage cheese. After the workout I was craving protein. There isn't a build-your-own omelette on the menu, but I recreated the meal-with-choice-of-cheese omelette into a swiss and spinach one instead. It was good and hit the spot. I'd order it again. I'll update this review if anything remarkable happens on one of my post-workout excursions.

We were seduced by a $2 coupon so we decided to begin our 4th of July with breakfast at the a Delectable Egg. My husband has retired & I have no income during the summer months, so we try desperately to be frugal when we can while still enjoying life. My husband inquired if they had any unique syrups for our pancakes & the waitress brought each of us an ounce if real maple; neglecting to inform us that that ounce cost each of us $2.49, so an extra $5 on our bill. Then they wouldn't honor their $2 coupon on my iPhone "since it was not printed out for them". Ridiculous since having the coupon in the iPhone eliminates paper use! Not at all happy with their customer service. I received no feedback from customer service despite writing them re: these issues. I will no longer attend this restaurant.
(1)Lisa B.
I liked it. My waitress was extremely friendly and the food was really good. I didn't even get attitude when I asked for a booth instead of a table (which isn't all that common.) Just moved to the neighborhood and if this is what I can expect, I'll definitely be back.
(4)Beth A.
I've been here a couple of times, and the food is good to great. I have never enjoyed the service, but have taken my time with deciding what to post as a review, due to my love of the food when I want some delicious breakfast but do not want to cook, but at the same time conveying the need for better service. Today an event occurred that made me realize just how to word it: I was starving near lunch time and decided that I could really use a breakfast burrito. The Delectable Egg is near my workplace, but I also did not want to go there and wait for the food to be cooked and decided to order take out. The phone call was weird. I was not asked my name or number (a common practice in take out) nor was I given the options usually associated with the breakfast burrito (hash-browns or potatoes, which salsa I wanted, any extras). Before I could ask, the lady said good bye and hung up. I was not given an amount of time it would be either. I went to the restaurant about 15 minutes later, and my food was ready. I asked about the salsa put on my burrito and the lady rudely told me that only regular salsa is put on the burrito unless stated in the order. I asked if options were usually given when ordering, and she stated yes. I told her I was not and she stated she could give me a side of the salsa I wanted. I was impressed (this would have been good customer service and my review would have been written very different), so I said yes. She then said it would be a $2 charge. What? I asked if I would have been charged that additional cost if I had been given the options when I order, and she stated no. This is POOR customer service. I understand that I could have asked about the options, but I was not given the chance while on the phone. Just poor. The food is good, but when you add on the service that you will probably get, the food goes down to decent and it is worth the drive to anywhere else to get breakfast food. P.S. For those of you stating 'did you not see the options listed on the menu?' They are not listed online. Hence why I was going to ask during the phone call.

This place sucks!!! First off, the orange juice is probably less natural than the tropicana I get at the store. The blueberry pancakes are overcooked and whole-wheat. The blueberries are tasteless and don't complement the pancake at all. The big wad of butter on the pancake is typical of brunch places, but extremely inconvenient to take off. My dad had the eggs, which he said were terrible, kind of like the coffee. I'm not sure how the sandwiches are, but if the rest of the menu is any indication, I think it sucks.
(1)Ivy G.
Excellent breakfast spot with great prices! I had the eggs benedict, biscuits, and a waffle - very delicious.
(5)Chanh S.
We knew this place was a chain so we weren't expecting too any special and figured it would be a nice place. We saw a Living Social/Groupon deal so we thought it was a good chance to check it out. There was a line but we still got in before 5 mins which was nice. The staff is really friendly and nice. The food came out quickly and looked good. Basically, this is a nice and easy place to go for breakfast. Taste and feels like every other breakfast chain on there. However, since there isn't too many breakfast joints in the area, it's not a bad place. But I probably won't be making the drive out there again for it.
(4)Lisa O.
There are SO MANY good brunch places in Denver, but for some reason I decided to check out this new (to me) one on my recent visit. Perhaps not the best choice. We walked in slightly behind another group and the hostess decided (without checking) that we were with them and studiously ignored us standing in front of her before I interrupted with an "excuse me." Bad start. Despite an almost empty restaurant, we ended up being seated right next to the aforementioned large group of people and service suffered accordingly. The food was okay, although the chorizo in my breakfast burrito was almost nonexistent and the green chile could have been kicked up a couple notched. All in all, a pretty A-Ok experience. Perfectly serviceable, nothing special.
(3)Alia Z.
A just fine place for breakfast, especially if you're in a rush. I have never had my food come out so fast at a sit-down! The food itself was decent - I had french toast with cream cheese and strawberry jam, and a scrambled egg on the side. Nothing impressive, just simple breakfast food. Also, when you ask for tea, they'll leave you with a decent size pot of hot water so you don't have to keep asking.
(3)Crys A.
It's hard to mess up breakfast, which is to say that the food here ranges from okay to good. But not great. The service can be spotty too, especially when they're smashed, which would be weekend mornings. But that's probably to be expected. Well...waiting over 20 minutes for the check? Is a bit much.
(3)Will S.
They have amazing food, service and are pretty quick with to go orders
(5)Reid H.
The breakfast was good. I had pancake with eggs and potatoes. The pancakes and potatoes were great. I also had some fresh grapefruit juice, which I loved. The coffee was not great, but we enjoyed the breakfast before starting our day trip in Denver. Our server was also very pleasant.
(4)Liz V.
I have been to this location a few times, and this past Sunday, it wasn't as busy as I feared it would be. I was there around 9:30am; so, maybe I missed the rush. Anyway, I had a coupon for a free meal for my birthday. I ordered coffee and the basic breakfast, 2 eggs with ham, hashbrowns, and an English muffin. I wanted the eggs over medium, and I got good eggs! I think over medium seems to be a challenge for cooks sometimes even at this place. I took the ham home for my dogs and didn't eat the English muffin there either. Honestly, I was pretty full after the eggs and potatoes. The coffee was good, too. My waitress was friendly but not overbearing. With the coupon, I only was charged under $3 before tip. The coupon made it a really good deal!
(5)Jesse B.
Great breakfast selection. Several gluten-free options for toast, pancakes, waffles & breakfast potatoes (their hash browns aren't) They offer a flavored coffee in addition to the normal regular and decaf. The flavor of the day was hazelnut. It was fine but I like dark roasts and this was definitely on the light end of the spectrum. Our waitress was very polite and took our drink requests. Because there are so many good choices we had to ask her to come back a few times. She did a great job of bringing a coffee pot for our table (why can't all restaurants do this? so much nicer to pour a 2nd/3rd cup than waiting forever!) I settled on the stacked racheros breakfast (I've had it before and enjoyed it) with breakfast potatoes. It arrived and looked super delicious. It is a combination of grilled tortillas, green chiles scrambled eggs, cheese, chipotle sauce, avocado, tomatoes, scallions and sour cream. Wowza! The green chiles and chipotle definitely have some spice and the potatoes helped temper that. This is definitely big enough to share (I didn't though :-) and very good. Will have to go back for their other breakfast and lunch options.
(4)Aerlin I.
Fast service, great prices, tasty breakfast. We walked for awhile and found this place. The restaurant is a little but small, though this should not turn you away. Very nice and clean inside as well.
(5)Hayat C.
21 minutes just to get orange juice .menu says its fresh squeezed but it is not it tastes like it's from concentrate. The food is not a big deal. At least for the breakfast part of it I ordered french toast. If I were to come here again order a lunch item.
(2)Michelle N.
The potatoes were cold and the eggs Benedict was so-so. Also kinda rude service. I think Snoozes has ruined every other breakfast place for me but honestly Village Inn in better than the "Egg". Avoid!
(1)Michael S.
So came to eat here instead of the 8lb burrito at Jak n Grill... Went here with a big group of people and I was quite pleased.. The room was bright and cheerful looking to me.. Had the cranberry juice and the Orange County omelette with grandma's apples while the gf had the eggs benedict and a cinnamon roll. The other girls had a whole bunch of other food.. Food came very fast and I was really pleased with my omelette. It was nicely made with a good amount of avocado. I do with it was a little more flavorful as a whole though.. The gf really liked her eggs benedict and it looked like she loved her cinnammon roll.. I'm glad we got to go here for brunch..
(4)Dan K.
Quick to be seated even though it was busy. Huevos and skillet breakfast both with eggs over-easy were perfect. Coffee, Iced Tea, OJ all delicious. Service prompt and friendly.

I hate to compare places but when me an my wife heard of this place we thought of a small chain of breakfast eateries in the southeast called " Another Broken Egg". If your ever in North Florida, Texas or Georgia I highly recommend it. Anyways with that being said, "The Delectable Egg" is no "Broken Egg". The food was just so, so. The menu gave us heightened expectations of a gourmet breakfast/brunch experience, but really it was just Village Inn wrapped in prettier clothes. The food was not seasoned at all, a little salt never killed anyone. The pancakes where cold and our server was suspect. We asked her how much bacon came in one of the dishes, she answered that it was crumbled up in the eggs. She clearly had no clue. Me and my wife are looking for a good after church place we can visit that serves adventurous breakfast plates and maybe mimosa's on the side. The Delectable egg is not that place. The coffee was good though, can't leave that out.
(2)K S.
This was a disappointment...my California eggs benedict arrived with a watery hollandaise sauce (clearly from a powder). One of my eggs was simply a poached egg white. The avocado slices were bland and dry, as if they had been cut the day before. The server responded appropriately when I told her about the missing yolk, bringing me a fresh poached egg and an extra serving of hollandaise, which would have made my day if it were real. The service and atmosphere are fine, but a restaurant that puts "egg" in its name should take them seriously.
(1)Sumay J.
Don't like as much as other locations. servers.not as friendly and food definitely not as good. Last time we went 4 of us had stomach trouble. Wont EVER be going back.
(1)Laura M.
Good for breakfast! Friendly service, fast and delicious food. We will continue to visit this restaurant for yummy breakfast in the future. I highly recommend that you join their email list because they frequently send out coupons (buy 1 entree, get 1 free, etc...)
(4)Jamie K.
Overall, yay! I'm a fan. My food was good and pretty reasonable. They have extremely fast service, and some really healthy choices on the menu. They are also willing to substitute sides without an extra charge. Wow! Their omelettes are huge, so I cut mine in half and planned to take the rest to go. When I asked for a box, I planned on taking home two pieces of toast and the rest of my omelette. This is the reason they lost a star, the server brings me the tiniest box, enough room for the omelette but where am I suppose to put my toast, I guess on top of the omelette and it get soaked with salsa :(
(4)Steven S.
Delectable Egg's waffles are my favorite waffles! All of the items I have ordered really have been delectable. The servers are usually quite friendly and prompt. The prices are moderate, but given the portion size (usually a bit more than I can eat in a brunch sitting after I split a waffle with my girlfriend) it's within reason. I happily return whenever a brunch opportunity arises.
(4)Ryan G.
The Delectable Egg is one of those places I've always heard good things about, but hadn't gotten around to checking out. As far as first impressions go, it was crowded and in a strip mall. Crowds are always good for a breakfast joint, right? The decor was sterile, but not bland, and the place was filled with natural light. Got it? Ok. On to the stuff you're probably looking for... I'm a breakfast guy. I really digs me some eggs and hashbrowns and really don't get all too picky unless things get nasty. The Delectable Egg has one HELL of a selection for the breakfast people of the world and basically met my less than demanding expectations. I ordered the "Orange County," which was a veggie benedict in omelette form. Service was quick and the order was accurate. The omelette was light and fluffy, the tomato was fresh, and the bed of cubed potato hash browns was well seasoned and quite tasty. On the negative side, it wasn't exactly hot (which is surprising, considering how quick it was served up) and the avocado was bruised. The coffee was decent and the individual pot that came along with it was great. My girlfriend ordered diet coke and it, too, came with an individual carafe. Little stuff like that always wins me over. Are you curious about the little stuff that DOESN'T win me over? A tiny black hair on my plate, discovered near the end of my meal, never wins me over. :-/ Oh, well. It wasn't a hair net issue - just one of those things that happens when humans and food meet. Will I go out of my way to check this particular place out again? I doubt it. That said, the huge selection is a crowd pleaser and it definitely fills its role.

I have gone there because, for some reason others like it. Went there this AM, was awful as usual. A good breakfast at a Breakfast Place should be a no brainer, not here. I had poached eggs and corned beef hash. The hash was right out of the can, which is OK if I choose to do that at home. My major gripe is that they don't use butter for toast. I asked for it and they said that they don't have butter. It's not a cheap place so why cheap horrible ingredients? I'll never go there again. Maybe the area just needs more breakfast places and it may not be as crowded as it is now. The atmosphere is actually very pleasant but that's it!

I have had breakfast here several times and have been disappointed a few of those times. I am in love with hollandaise sauce and it is less than satisfactory.

Fast service, food was tasty, not great, just tasty. I do say the service was fast, but they only get three stars because they forgot a part if my order.

The decor is simple and boring. The food was edible but certainly nothing exciting. Quite disappointed. Will say the service was good.

Perhaps it was the joy of Easter Sunday or maybe the fact I was very hungry or maybe the Delectable Egg simply has great service, inexpensive prices, quick food preparation & most importantly great food! The young ladies at the front & wait staff were very friendly and helpful about food selections. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip and plan to go back soon!

It's a five star place for my man, who loves a hearty breakfast! We are here almost every weekend. He loves pancakes, biscuit's and gravy, omelette's, french toast, endless coffee cups, and the like. But he's not writing the review, I am. I know I'm a tough customer. I'm a vegan, and a very healthy eater and it is hard to find good breakfast or brunch choices here for me. I know, the cheese stands alone. There is always a line waiting way out the door to get into this place. It seems everyone who has tried it has told all their friends and they all keep coming back for more. You see, those people would all give this place five stars too. I will tell you what impresses me about The Delectable, they always seat us fast, even when there are tons of people waiting. The servers are on their toes, they really keep it hopping. I never feel rushed, it's a relaxing meal, even with the tons of people pushing through this joint. Those meat eaters are like cattle when it comes to their breakfast, Mooooo, they want in. All in all, it's not a bad place to be forced to come to, when it makes my guy so happy.

Always quick to be seated and promptly served, it's easy to have a good breakfast here. Lots of choices and yummy options make deciding what to order tough, but no matter how hungry you are (or aren't) your bound to find something just right for your appetite. I've tried just about everything and can't find a thing to complain out. They aren't trying anything too crazy or inventive, but is always solidly delicious.

This is a small local chain that has a few locations, but I usually end up at this one since it is closest to my house. I've eaten there several times and gotten takeout as well. The menu is pretty standard, though they have some interesting combinations and a few things you don't normally find on breakfast menus, plus you can get breakfast or lunch anytime. I've found the Delectable Power Wrap to be my favorite thing, though apparently it comes with potatoes now instead of fruit like it says on the menu, which is fine. I prefer hash browns in general, but here they only offer home fries, which are decent. Omelettes are nice but some of the other dishes come with too much sauce (again, that's more my taste though). Portions are just a bit smaller than I'd like, but for most people I'm sure it's not a problem. I've had some trouble with long waits on takeout, so it didn't really buy me much time to do that, but overall it's still a good breakfast place.

quick service...it is good for what it is: a place I like it for a nice, greasy bfast.

Came here for breakfast with some friends and relatives, one of whom lives near here. I got pancakes and a side of ham (I don't eat eggs) while the others in my party did get eggs. We all were pleased with our selections, as everything came fresh, well-cooked and very flavorful without being overpowering. Coffee came promptly and was refilled on a regular basis. Our breakfasts were served very quickly and the staff was helpful without hovering over us too much. Overall...while it may not have been a spectacular gourmet restaurant it was just what we all needed that morning. Yummy.
