Taste of Asia is one step up from the Chinese restaurants that sell their food by the scoop. The food quality is average and the interior design is better than one usually finds in similar restaurants. However, there is something kind of depressing about this place. The people who own the restaurant are not serious restauranters. The bathroom doors are smudged with handprints, merchandise is stored in the bathrooms, the bamboo table decorations have price tags on them, the server is graceless and there are children's toys scattered around the restaurant. Although this place is deeply mediocre, it will survive because there is some poor, immigrant family that is willing to work really long hours for little return. A good restaurant to avoid if you are feeling a little blue.

Was on a trip to Denver and stayed at a hotel nearby, I drove down the road and stumbled upon this place. First impression was that it was nice and quaint inside, was greeted upon entering which is a plus, and got really excited when I saw the awards they received from the big area newspaper but that is where it stops. I placed a carryout order consisting of Kung Pao Shrimp and Scallion Pancakes. The food came out about ten minutes later, then I left. Mistake! Should of just left without the food. When I came back to the hotel, I opened the Kung Pao container and sauce was just oozing out from the sides onto my fingers. I looked in and it had tons of water chestnuts, celery, and carrots with only nine shrimps. I basically paid $10.50 for fillers. To top it off, it wasn't good. The Scallion Pancakes were ok but being that I have ate this all my life, I know these were bought frozen from the manufacturer instead of made fresh on site. I don't how chinese food generally tastes out in Denver, but judging by this place, this city doesn't know good chinese food.

My quest for Asian began here one friday night. The quest continues. As the haiku states, I'm keeping my eyes peeled for great asian take-out. But the search for Chinese/Thai in Denver had to begin somewhere, and it began at Taste of Asia. ToA is affordable and close and the service (we had take-out) extremely prompt and efficient. The food was OK; not bad, not exciting. My Chicken Penang was shockingly bland (is that possible?) I was disappointed but everyone else gave their meals a thumbs up, with varying degrees of enthusiasm. So given the proximity, for a quick Asian fix, we'll order again. But it's not over Denver. Don't even think it.

Blech! I agree with Liz S, go to Panda Express instead. Nothing I've had from here is good. If you're in Park Hill and seeking delivery, order from Spicy Thai/Sushi Wow.

It is New Year's Day and Tracie and I felt like the Parker family in Christmas Story. We were returning from DIA and needed a place to eat lunch on this quiet Thursday. Thankfully, A Taste of Asia was open. We are glad we stopped there and ate lunch. Nothing special, but the food is OK, the service was very friendly and quick. The portions are quite large, in my opinion. I had the Pork Lo Mein which was exactly what I was in the mood for. Plenty of pork with crispy cabbage. Tasty. Tracie had the Chicken with Snow Peas. All white meat (which she prefers). Perfectly cooked snow peas and a mountain of refried rice. Tasty. So, when you shopping at Sam's Club, check out A Taste of Asia and enjoy a thoroughly Chinese-American lunch. $6.50 per person + tip.

Disgusting. Not edible. The food was so bad, that for the first time in my entire life I called and complained and I'm prompted to write this review. The 2nd batch they sent was as bad as the first. I think I know why they can deliver so fast: it seems like they must prepare all the food at the beginning of the night then let it sit around until the orders come in. The chicken must be the lowest quality meat they can buy, but it's difficult to tell because most of it was a tough sort of batter that was over-fried and dried out. The sauce tasted like it came out of an industrial-size can. Terrible. We tried, but most of it went into the garbage.

I went to this place a few weeks after they opened. There was a piece of what appeared to be some type of metallic wire-coil in my food. It looked like it came off of some kind of pan cleaning pad or brush. I could have been seriously hurt if I swallowed it. I have not went back to Taste of Asia since.

After finding "extras" in our food twice, we had to stop eating here. Extras of the insect variety, if you know what I mean. We haven't found acceptable Chinese delivery in the area, so we drive to Chef Liu's.

One of the only Asian places in the area . . . it's not a destination restaurant, but if you're in Stapleton or Northfield this is a good place to go. I had mu shu pork which was tasty, not oily, generous serving, and they asked me whether I wanted them to wrap the pancakes or whether I wanted to do it myself--I appreciate that thoughtfulness.

I wanted to like this place, but it just wasn't good. We chose the family dinner, which did provide a good amount of food. We had a variety of appetizers, wonton soup (which was actually very good), and then sweet and sour pork and sesame chicken. Maybe where we went wrong was ordering so many fried things, but everything was overcooked and very hard. We couldn't even get our fork in some of our foods, because it was so hard from being overcooked. I love Asian food and was excited to get something like this in our neighborhood, but I doubt we will be going back.

I ordered food for delivery to my hotel. I had never ordered but it was close, offered delivery and had decent prices. The website ordering system was great! Enter your address, food choices, done. Well, not so done. Apparently you needed to order $35 worth of food to qualify for delivery. Ok... Fine. Go back, add some random extra rice, fortune cookies and spring rolls. Now done? Nope... Delivery fee... Really? Fine. Process order and lets go! My kids are starving. About 45 minutes later the food is at my door. (The quoted time was 45-60). Pull out the food and it looks and smells great. However... Chicken pad Thai- dry noodles, almost crunchy like it had been sitting out, no veggies (just noodles in sauce with the peanuts) and the chicken tasted like it was cooked in a different sauce and just placed on top of the noddles. Hot and sour soup- had a weird taste and super salty Edemame- no spices/flavor, literally just a box of soy beans Steamed dumplings- they fell apart in the box Vegetable spring rolls- super mushy and soggy, and the sauce that came was separated/chunky My kids ended up eating the shrimp lo mein (which looked good but I didn't eat) and a ton of rice. Oh, and you know those extra fortune cookies I paid for to up my order total- they weren't in the bag. It was a disappointing meal after a really long day.

The vegan menu is Awesome! the service is good and fast. Really good vegan food is hard to find and this is some of the best. I really Love the vegetarian delight but I think my new favorite is the orange "chicken." the veggies are always fresh and perfectly cooked. the egg drop soup is also very good and always arrives dangerously hot.

Amazingly fast delivery and solid food. Food is definitely no-frills Chinese, it won't blow you away but is always consistent, so you know what you're getting. As such, it's on the shortlist of go-to order-in options in our household, and has become a tradition when family is in town.

went today and should have listened to my instincts ( and left ) when I walked in and there were all but tables occupied during lunch hour. Atmosphere is low budget. Staff was friendly. Used bathroom, it was filthy, walking back to my table I paid closer attention to the cleanliness. there were some kids toys in the waiting area, nice touch, though they were so filthy, there is no way I would let my child touch these. Hot/sour soup had chunk of flavoring gel that had not been dissolved. The meal included a large amount of rice (which is cheap) the main meal which is the main ingredient was about the 1/3 the size of the rice - there was not much substance to the meal. I am surprised someone actually gave them 5 stars - ?!?! Avoid this place. Worst Chinese place ever.

I have been into the restaurant many times, each time was okay. It was always solid . The first time I ordered delivery they screwed it up and said they would send another to fix the mistake. They never came back and they never called me back either. The did not credit me in any way. I used to like this place, but the delivery just killed the experience. If your going to eat from this place go to the location if it's convenient for you otherwise look else where. There is much better options in Denver.

Taste of Asia is not a restaurant that you would go out of your way to visit, however it's a very pleasant place to a enjoy simple, well prepared meal. Nothing earth-shattering but I would go again if in the neighborhood. The Chicken and Snow Peas was very good - tender white meat with crisp veggies - just what I wanted. The huge pile of fried rice was not necessary but filled up the plate. The hot and sour soup was pretty standard to what you get at most run-of-the-mill Chinese restaurants. Service was excellent - very friendly and the restaurant itself very clean. I would recommend Taste of Asia to anyone who craves standard Chinese fare and is in the neighborhood

I have eaten here numerous times and I think it is pretty consistent. I agree--not sure why all the bad reviews. It is OK chinese food. Tonight I had the Orange Beef for takeout. The beef was crispy and the sauce (a little thick) was flavorful and had a mild heat to it. I can't comment on the fortune cookie but all-in-all I think it is fine for being close to my house. Have I had better, yes, and I definitely have had way worse.

This place has been growing on me. I live on the outskirts of Stapleton, and for some time, this was the only viable option for Chinese food in our area. Is it the greatest? Eh, no. However, is it good? Definitely. Even better? Their service is quick and efficient, the people are friendly, and the prices are modest. I usually go for seafood dishes. They don't skimp on the shrimp, either, which is nice. And their brown rice is pretty tasty. Also, they serve sizable portions, so you can count on one meal easily becoming at least two, if not three.

I hate giving two stars but even though this is the closest chinese food place to home, I will not be going back. There was nothing horrible about the food but it is just all so plain that there is no incentive for me to. Here is what we ordered and my impression: Chicken Low Mein- decent flavor but overdone with veggies and almost no chicken. Orange Chicken- Probably the best thing ordered, almost too sweet but tasty. kung pao chicken- Not spicy at all. Decent chicken veggie mixture. Cooked well. Egg rolls- almost all rice, no real flavor. Price- Would have been worth the amount given if it had good flavor, but it didn't.

This is the second time we have been here in the last few months and it is wonderful! It usually isn't too crowded inside, but don't let that fool you, the food is amazing. We ordered the Family Dinner which comes with your choice of soup, an appetizer platter that includes fried shrimp, egg rolls, crab cheese wontons and beef skewers (yes you get all of them, no need to choose one or the other) and finally your choice of any menu entree item (both times we have done the moo shu beef and chicken which are excellent). This is a great deal for the money!

I was writing a big long review but bumped my keyboard, went back a page and lost it all. Here is my scathing review in summary. Food is decent to okay. We really enjoy the Crab Cheese Wontons but everything else has been just okay. However, their customer service is terrible and we will no longer support them. I encourage you to find a a different local Chinese restaurant to support as this one does not deserve it.

Meat was weird, everything was slightly flavorless, thai tea tasted like it was a powder before they mixed it with dirt flavored water, and the service was terrible. When we tried to order dessert an hour and a half BEFORE they closed, our waitress kept insisting that we take it to go.. ok I guess. And for all this, expect to spend at least $50 for two people to have full meals. What a rip off.

I work a few blocks away and went to lunch with a co-worker and are meals where very good till I notice my friend had a cockroach in his meal. Yes cockroach. The owner or think he is the owner didn't charge us for the meal. Unfortunately, the experience was one where I probably won't eat there again.

My mom and I ate here the other night and I don't think we would come back if we were in the area again. Both of us LOVE Asian food and have been to countless Asian restaurants all over the country. I had the traditional yellow curry with chicken and she had drunken noodles with tofu and veggies. Their yellow curry was TERRIBLE. I have never seen clear yellow curry before. It tasted like chicken broth, thickened with corn starch then seasoned with curry powder. The drunken noodles my mom had were actually very good if it weren't for the tofu to rain on their parade. The tofu was like chewing on a leather boot; inedible! The veggies and noodles were very good though and so was the hot and sour soup we both had to start with.

Oh my god I never received such a terrible service in my life!!! I tried to order a delivery to my hotel room, the guy was very rude and put me on hold three times without even apologize ,when I asked him question about a soup he recommend he put me on hold for one minute and then asked me if I decided which soup I want I told him I didn't want any soup he said okay and then end up the phone I will never called them again

Jesus, that's some of the worst service and literally the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life. It took them a lot longer than quoted to deliver, the customer service was bad, the food was horrendous, and everything was wet. But luckily they gave us like 35 packets of soy sauce so that's helpful.

Put in a decent sized order at 10.15am for our office. For an 11.30 delivery. At 11.55 we call to find out where our food is. We were told that it was on it's way. 12.20, still no food. Call back again and get told they havent even made it yet. We cancelled the order and threw away the menu. spicy Thai is SOOOOOO much better.!!!

Worst Chinese ever, not only did it take twice the amount of time to deliver as was quoted over the phone but two of the dishes had spilled inside the paper bag making everything soggy and the appetizers were sitting inside a Styrofoam container and we're completely soggy. We called the restaurant to see if they would do anything to make it right, They said they were NOT going to do anything in a nutshell. Stay away at all costs.

You know, I'm pretty new to this area and thought it was cool there was takeout so close. I tried it and went in for the first time. I experienced the "orange chicken". There was too much super thick sauce which made it hard to get through (the Marine in me will not waste chow), but I got it done. It was expensive and the kid inside was rude as most of his time on the cellphone. I felt like a nuisance and all I did was place a simple order. I marched on out of there never to return. I didn't yelp before I went in but scrolling up Im not the only one. This place could use some serious leadership.

Taste of Asia gets three stars based on their cheap-ish lunch menu; truly, offering the faux meats at lunch prices is what did it. However, I can't say I'm in any rush to order from them again because even for Amurkanized Chinese food it was basically so-so. I found TOA through a Google proximity search. Reviews were alright enough (not good but not super terrible), and again, they have the faux meats. So I figured I'd give them a try on my lunch break. I'm kicking myself now for not using the BOGO 50% coupon on the back of my King Soopers receipt. Yes, I ordered two lunch entrees. I did this because nothing really sounded good except lo mein, but I really wanted to try the veggie meats. So I ordered both. And with a $2 carry-out tip, the bill was something like $15.45. Not bad considering I got like four meals out of it. Both dishes were pretty standard "greasy spoon Chinese" -- generally above the scoops places but not my favorite and not a place I'm in a rush to go back to. The lo mein with veggies was kind of weak and it was served with rice. I would prefer it to just be straight up lo mein, as the portion of actual lo mein wasn't all that much. The "Vegetarian Delight", with veggie "beef" and veggie "chicken", was fairly ample in veggies and the meats. Unfortunately, it was also pretty ample in the overly salty sauce it was all brought together with. Still, brown rice is an option at no additional charge, so that made it easier to mix altogether in the later meals I made from it. Service was nice when I went in to pick up my food. I also like that they have online ordering in place. Lunch options are around $6.25 per entree (and when you dine in I believe they come with soup). Not a bad deal overall, and even better if you get one of those coupons (and hopefully I'll remember mine next time!). Again, no hurry to get back to Taste of Asia, but it's nice to know there's a joint in the area that will take care of a Chinese food craving (with faux meat) if I'm really overcome by it.

If I could have given it zero stars I would have. I recently ordered 30 some dollars of food on their website and after waiting for about an hour I called the restaurant. They advised me that they must not have received the order. They claimed they didn't receive a fax from an outside company. I asked if they could make my order and get it to my house quickly (I live about 5 blocks away) They said it would take another 45 minutes to an hour. I will never order from here. I suggest Peters Chinese they are way better. I wish they delivered to my house! Thumbs down to Taste of Asia.

You may not believe this, but the first thing the waitress told us was that she's a pot head and likes to get stoned on her couch with her dogs. Then she complained about how little money she makes. Then proceeded with a number if other inappropriate comments. We thought we were on one of those hidden camera shows. Tip: order delivery ALWAYS

I always try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt when it comes to customer service. Places can be ridiculously busy or shorthanded, or new waitstaff or cooks may affect the quality of service on an off day, so I try not to let a poor experience affect my judgment of a business. However, I have visited this establishment a number of times (there are very few Asian cuisine restaurants in the area) and during each visit I have received the absolute worst customer service and overall treatment I have ever experienced in my life. From being hung up on when placing an order for deliver to being rushed out of the place 20 minutes before closing, this place takes the cake when it comes to treating customers like crap. Avoid this place like the plague! There has never been a time when my visit/encounter with Taste of Asia has been a good one let alone decent. They are extremely rude and have absolutely no appreciation or respect for the people that come in and spend their money at their resturaunt. The food is okay but it is not worth the horrible treatment and condescending attitude you have to endure to get it.

Stumbled on Taste of Asia while shopping up at Stapleton. I had a hankering for Chinese and rather than going to the Panda Express around the corner, I tried out this pleasant looking place. Wish I could have a do-over on that decision. Taste of Asia makes all the same mistakes that so many mom-and-pop Chinese restaurants make in this town--trying to be too many things for too many people. The give-away is the fact that it advertises itself as an "Asian" spot, with Thai and Vietnamese food items on a separate page of their menu. This is a disaster for all concerned, and I have never seen a restaurant that has successfully pulled off an Asian menu. It's like calling your restaurant pan-European. Who's stupid enough to believe that they can appeal to everyone looking for all types of food at a single table? Do one thing, and do it well! And it's too bad because Taste of Asia clearly has a cook who can do Chinese food if they weren't dumbing it down for American tastes. The scallion pancakes seem to be hand rolled and pan fried, not the usual deep fried frisbees that you normally get. (They were still a little doughy in the middle, but a nice try.) The kung pao chicken is a Chinese-American travesty. There were more carrots, water chestnuts and celery than there was chicken and peanuts. Wake up people! Kung pao chicken does not have vegetables in it! I picked out the little amount of chicken there was and left the veggies sitting there in a sad sauce-soaked pile. Too bad.

Decent Chinese food- definitely better than the neighboring Panda Express. Tried the curry beef (without vegetables- it's a personal quirk) on two occasions and pleased both times. Also tried the BBQ pork- not pleased. I've never had it served in a 'water bath' before. Disappointing.

It's been a hard two days in the food department. Next time my co-workers says: "hey! we passed Chinese food on the bus!", work should not buy everyone lunch from there. I looked over the reviews and decided that meatless was the preferred route. My veggies were fine, but they were sitting in a light gray bed of slightly coagulated liqui

Let me state the I'm actually reviewing the take out from Taste of Asia. I have received take out twice from here thus far and each time a bit sub par. You need to understand I moved here from the Philadelphia area where Chinese take out places are everywhere which makes the quality that much better since they have to complete for customers. Here I have very few options for Chinese delivery. The good: The service is good. Pleasant on the phone and nice in person. And bonus they take credit cards which is good for people like me who don't carry cash. The bad: Crab Cheese Wontons - Meh - Where's the crab? Szechuan Chicken - Not as spicy as we would've liked and again meh. Generals Tao's Chicken - Good, not great - What I expected Overall it might give you that Chinese fix you're looking for. In the future I may actually decided to drive the 5-10 minutes for better food. Not likely to be back.

Not bad but not great, either. Better than Panda Express, for sure. I order delivery through grub hub's website. The double pan fried noodles with combo meats and the crab wontons arrived in about 15 minutes and it was hot and fresh. I'll order again and try a Thai dish soon.

I really enjoyed the Egg Foo Young I ate here that I went back a second time. The base was well cooked, the vegetables and shrimp were delicious. The wait staff was extremely attentive but not overly so. The restaurant is clean and cozy. The crab dish my husband ordered was no good; the imitation crab was unpalatable.

Really horrendous. Slimy uncooked tofu. Fried rice had no egg or vegetables. Pad Thai was miserable. So mad at myself for ordering from here

Had an urge for wonton soup and crab meat cheese wontons so as this being the closest place to work, I stopped in. $9.00 late (with tip) I left with a large wonton soup and an order or crab wontons. Needless to say, the wontons were sub par, had a high amount of onion or something in them and were barely edible. The wonton soup was all broth, no wontons. I was like, WTH?! So I dug around the bottom and found 5 flat, meat filled (the size of a pea) wontons. Flat wontons? I don't know about you, but I like my wontons fluffy and with some meat or something. What a waste of soup and lunch as well as my $9.00.

Came here for a business trip and stayed nearby. Ordered the Lo Mien with chicken to go. Came out to be $8 which I guess is normal. Surprisingly the food came out within 5 minutes. Taste is generic, but I can't complain since I'm a simple guy.

The food is good. One of the better Pho soups I have experienced in the Denver area so far. The only problem we had was after finishing the meal and before the check came, two cockroaches crawled out along the wall and one started to head down the bench seat to where I was sitting. The staff quickly eliminated them, but the really good food was then diminished by having a cockroach wanting to be my friend. Unfortunately, the experience was one where I probably won't eat there again.

I ordered take-out from Taste of Asia tonight because I cleaned out my Menu Drawer today, and found one for this place. I'd never been there, and the $14.50/pp for the Family Meal sounded like a good deal. (Menu was old - price is now $15.50-still seemed like a bargain). I always order two entrees when I get Chinese food delivered, 'cause it keeps & reheats well, for lunches during the work week. So, I ordered two; includes choice of soup, (I got egg drop & wonton), what is basically a pu-pu: four fried chix wings, two egg rolls, two wontons, two fried shrimp & two beef skewers, plus two entrees, and choice of rice. For entrees I got Shrimp w/vegetables & Moo Goo Gai Pan. Delivery guy was nice; reasonable delivery time given it was 6:00 on Saturday night. The apps: oh my. The fried cream cheese wontons were average (I just love my Happy Kitchen wontons; hard to live up to those), the egg rolls were good, but the fried shrimp was horrendous. It seemed as if it had, literally, been fried and then sitting under heat lamps for five hours. The first one I bit into was so hard, I initially thought that there was a toothpick inside it. And, to top it, the shrimp tasted overly fishy - as if it wasn't fresh even before it was fried. The "fried chicken wings" (a first for me from an Asian restaurant, but it was listed as such on the menu-not misrepresented) were literally smaller than my thumb, and had clearly spent the afternoon on the same tanning bed as the shrimp. Horrible. The beef skewers suffered from a condition that I see a lot in Chinese delivery - they'd been jerky-fied. I have to say, I'll never quite understand why every Chinese place feels they have to incinerate their sticks-o-beef. But they all do, so I guess it's not my place to question it. After all, apparently I keep ordering them. The wonton soup was uneventful; tasted vaguely more like miso soup, but acceptable. However, if I felt a cold coming on, I wouldn't even walk to the kitchen for some of it. Just didn't have that wonderful soupiness that I need in my life. The egg drop soup however, had more eggie-ness than I ever want to experience again. I'm no egg-drop-soup-isseur, but there were no tiny peas, or cute little green onions floating amongst the scrambled liquid chicken - seems this recipe is: one part chicken broth, one part eggies, and four parts cornstarch. You KNOW a soup has more cornstarch than the average bear when you can freaking TASTE the cornstarch. Now, there's a chick on the show "My Strange Addiction" who eats multiple boxes of straight cornstarch every single day (of course I'm serious! Look it up if you don't believe me) but I am not that chick. The Moo Goo was good - crunchy veggies, tender chicken, nice sauce. Same with the shrimp, EXCEPT that the shrimp was again, a little shrimpier than I think it should be. And I AM a shrimp-isseur; so I kind of know what I'm talking about here. The fried rice was good, too. The rice, chicken, shrimp, and maybe the won ton soup will work for lunch on Monday. I might flush the fried shrimps down the toilet - if I throw them in the Dumpster in my alley, I'm afraid a mouse might break a tooth.

I have eaten here on several occasions since I live in the neighborhood. Usually the food arrives lightning fast and is what you would expect from a shopping center dining establishment. I have tried several of their dishes with little to no complaints. I will probably eat here again and would recommend it based on its uber fast delivery and affordability. Thanks Taste of Asia.

Date(s) visited: about 4 times. Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Parking: 5/5 "ANOTHER ASIAN FOODIE PLACE IN THE DENVER AREA" Food: The food here I have to say is pretty good. My other half LOVES to eat here every chance he gets and I have to always try to change his mind to try something "different". They do have lunch specials that end at 3pm and the great thing about them is they do have brown rice and cheese wontons instead of pork. My other half and I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice and also the Pan Fried Noodle with chicken. The noodles for me were pretty good but for the fried rice both times I've had them they've tasted somewhat "dry". Service: Now, this is was "killed" it for me...I recently had an experience where I dined in with my other half. He ordered a Chicken Fried Rice whereas I ordered a Thai Drunken Noodle (which caught me by surprise since this is actually a Chinese restaurant). I have to say, the lady was initially very nice (for the most part) and helped in setting the tone for what I thought would be a pleasant experience. After receiving the noodles to my table, I then asked her if I could get Thai fish sauce to go with my meal. She gives me a very sour looking face and says abruptly with a stern tone, "Yeah, I THINK I know what that is." (?) Then, she brings out a small bowl with sauce in it which happened to be the restaurant's "house" fish sauce. She then said, "Is this what you are looking for?" I saw the sauce and noted that was NOT Thai fish sauce and said, "I don't think this is it." She then acted very hasty in manner and said, "Just try it" (?) So then, I tried it and it found that it was nothing like Thai fish sauce. Then she says, "Sorry, that's all we have. No one ever asks for it." Okay...WELL...To me, anytime you make a Drunken or a Pad Thai Noodle, you are adding in fish sauce as one of the main ingredients (am I right?) Also, if you are a Chinese restaurant serving Thai food then you would want to make sure that you do it RIGHT. After that experience there it made me feel that if I ever went in to order anything again from the same server, I would've felt guilty about "troubling" her to accommodate my foodie needs. So...I've decided that from here on out if I eat Chinese food there again, I will have to make sure it is "Take Out". Atmosphere: Typical family style Chinese restaurant. Price: Decent...Lunch specials run about $7. My Drunken Chicken totaled up to almost $9. Parking: Parking is located right in front of the restaurant in a shopping center. MY THOUGHTS? It is unfortunate I had a bad experience here with the service I received recently. Yet, I would still advise for people to come in and try the Chinese food family style. As for myself like I said before, take-out would be my only option of eating here (unless it is a family style party then MAYBE I will THINK about making my way back.) RECOMMENDATIONS: Don't eat Thai food here if you want it served to you "authentically".

I would probably go back again. Ordered take out. Had the Beef Lo Mein and fried dumplings. Wasn't too long a wait. The dumpling casings were a little on the thick size, but the food tasted good and I ate it all. They were good about making sure my take out bag had anything I would need.

No one ever asks for it." I hate giving two stars but even though this is the closest chinese food place to home, I will not be going back.

Amazingly fast delivery and solid food. Food is definitely no-frills Chinese, it won't blow you away but is always consistent, so you know what you're getting. As such, it's on the shortlist of go-to order-in options in our household, and has become a tradition when family is in town.

Bland, bland, bland. Kung pao chicken=not spicy Egg roll = soggy Wonton soup = 2 flat flavorless wontons. Boo. Never again

I visited with my family for a quick lunch. The service was fast and moderately friendly. The food was pretty good and the prices for the lunch were very reasonable. This is definately not somewhere I would make a plan to go to, but might end up there again. Big bonus though, they deliver to my office which is rare... so I'll probably be eating them again!

Having returned from a San Francisco vacation I had a serious Chinese food addiction going when I happily discovered Taste of Asia. My first delivery was good. The young, heavyset driver was fast and nice, the vegetable fried rice had extra egg -as I had requested -and everything was hot and tasty. Its not top tier Chinese but it was passable and filling. I should have quit while I was ahead. Each subsequent delivery got worse. The food tasted more slapped together, the rice stopped having extra egg and twice I found dried rice on the edges of the container. As if the prepacked containers had been sitting around under a heat lamp. I figured if I wanted fresh food I better order and pick up in person. I entered the empty diner (it looks better than a diner but its really diner food) and placed my order. After sitting for about 12 minutes I heard a sizzling skillet. No aroma of good food just a noisy skillet. Shortly after here comes my bag of food. Once home I found the same dried rice, one wrong item, yellow broccoli, dried out chicken, no extra egg and bland food. I will not go back again. CAUTION: Do not order the Pad Thai. They do not know how to cook it. Please, someone open a GOOD Chinese restaurant in this neighborhood, you will make a killing!

I've had tastier food at Panda Express (which is conveniently in the same neighborhood). The Pros - they deliver and are generous with the fortune cookies. They have Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese food. The Cons - my spring rolls had rotten (brown, mushy) sprouts. The Thai Basil Chicken, hot and sour soup, and edamame were just ok (not bad, but not great).

The latest menu I got in the mail has this printed on the cover, I copy it verbatim here, I kid you not: "AS you Shopping, your stomach mignt growl and you'll ask yourself: Where should I eat? One good option is Taste of Asia at Stapleton, a small spare, pan-Asian restaurant in the Quebec Square commercial center....if you're in the area and hungry for Chinese, Vietnamese or Thai food, it Should be make you happy. And it won't break the bank. By Douglas Brown, Denver Post Staff Writer." Since I want to be make happy, I got delivery from there. An efficient yet pleasant woman answered the phone and got our order right. An incredibly friendly, smiling delivery driver brought it to our door in no time. I was disappointed that the jasmine rice was on the dry and crunchy side, as if it had already been sitting in my fridge for a day or two. My dinner, Chicken with Garlic Sauce, was okay, but nothing special. My honey's dinner, the chef's special Kung Pao Triple Delight, looked like it had canned veggies in it. Egg rolls were a tad greasy. The large Wonton Soup, just $2.95, had 6 dumplings in it, which I thought was pretty good. I haven't tried anything off of their limited Vietnamese or Thai menus yet. No MSG, fast friendly service, and a menu blurb that made me ponder the Post's writing staff earn this otherwise humdrum establishment its three stars.

I work a few blocks away and went to lunch with a co-worker and are meals where very good till I notice my friend had a cockroach in his meal. Yes cockroach. The owner or think he is the owner didn't charge us for the meal. Unfortunately, the experience was one where I probably won't eat there again.

Thanks Taste of Asia.

went today and should have listened to my instincts ( and left ) when I walked in and there were all but tables occupied during lunch hour.

This is exactly what a Chinese takeout place should be. Very fast (extremely fast even), consistent, Chinese food. Never disappoints.

I went to this place a few weeks after they opened. There was a piece of what appeared to be some type of metallic wire-coil in my food. It looked like it came off of some kind of pan cleaning pad or brush. I could have been seriously hurt if I swallowed it. I have not went back to Taste of Asia since.

Horrible customer service. Extremely rude people running this place. Food was ok but I would never go back due to the way me and my family were treated.

They were good about making sure my take out bag had anything I would need.

went today and should have listened to my instincts ( and left ) when I walked in and there were all but tables occupied during lunch hour.

I work a few blocks away and went to lunch with a co-worker and are meals where very good till I notice my friend had a cockroach in his meal. Yes cockroach.

I visited with my family for a quick lunch. The service was fast and moderately friendly. The food was pretty good and the prices for the lunch were very reasonable. Disgusting.

Blech! I agree with Liz S, go to Panda Express instead. Nothing I've had from here is good. If you're in Park Hill and seeking delivery, order from Spicy Thai/Sushi Wow.

My wife and I aren't Chinese food experts (or any-food experts), but we enjoy the food here. We've only ever ordered delivery and it's always been extremely fast, hot, and very good.

I went to this place a few weeks after they opened. There was a piece of what appeared to be some type of metallic wire-coil in my food. Disgusting.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

(2)M D.
(5)Tim T.
Amazingly fast delivery and solid food. Food is definitely no-frills Chinese, it won't blow you away but is always consistent, so you know what you're getting. As such, it's on the shortlist of go-to order-in options in our household, and has become a tradition when family is in town.

It takes me one visit to decide never trying it again Not that awful but nothing about it will make me try it again

went today and should have listened to my instincts ( and left ) when I walked in and there were all but tables occupied during lunch hour.
(1)Jason M.
(2)Tracie B.
(3)Jeff C.
(3)Kat A.
(3)Mark H.
This is exactly what a Chinese takeout place should be. Very fast (extremely fast even), consistent, Chinese food. Never disappoints.
(5)Agi D.
Ordered take out. Quick delivery. Food is okay you wont rave about it but it does the job.
(3)Jason C.
Service and food were good. Price was reasonable. I dined in, between 1 and 2 pm on a Friday.
(4)Chris M.
(2)Michael R.
(5)John G.
Horrible customer service. Extremely rude people running this place. Food was ok but I would never go back due to the way me and my family were treated.
(2)Tim H.
(1)L M.
(1)Sam M.
I work a few blocks away and went to lunch with a co-worker and are meals where very good till I notice my friend had a cockroach in his meal. Yes cockroach. The owner or think he is the owner didn't charge us for the meal. Unfortunately, the experience was one where I probably won't eat there again.

My wife and I aren't Chinese food experts (or any-food experts), but we enjoy the food here. We've only ever ordered delivery and it's always been extremely fast, hot, and very good.
(4)Collin F.
Very good service fresh food and reasonable prices. Unlikely to cause an MII like everything else to eat around here.

Horrible Chinese food. The chicken wings looked and tasted old and the rice was bland.

Quite simply, dreadful. Right down to the fortune cookie.

Too bad.
(2)Johanna S.
(3)Kenny N.
(2)John M.
Went there with my kids for lunch. Service was poor and the food was average. Only would go again because it is close by.
(2)Jennifer B.
(2)Chase G.
Not bad but not great, either. Better than Panda Express, for sure. I order delivery through grub hub's website. The double pan fried noodles with combo meats and the crab wontons arrived in about 15 minutes and it was hot and fresh. I'll order again and try a Thai dish soon.
(3)Marie H.
(3)Jordan C.
Really horrendous. Slimy uncooked tofu. Fried rice had no egg or vegetables. Pad Thai was miserable. So mad at myself for ordering from here
(1)Sulema M.
(2)Michael W.
Came here for a business trip and stayed nearby. Ordered the Lo Mien with chicken to go. Came out to be $8 which I guess is normal. Surprisingly the food came out within 5 minutes. Taste is generic, but I can't complain since I'm a simple guy.
(3)Don M.

(2)Tim T.
Amazingly fast delivery and solid food. Food is definitely no-frills Chinese, it won't blow you away but is always consistent, so you know what you're getting. As such, it's on the shortlist of go-to order-in options in our household, and has become a tradition when family is in town.

(5)John G.
Horrible customer service. Extremely rude people running this place. Food was ok but I would never go back due to the way me and my family were treated.
(2)Tim H.
(1)L M.

(3)Jordan C.
Really horrendous. Slimy uncooked tofu. Fried rice had no egg or vegetables. Pad Thai was miserable. So mad at myself for ordering from here
(1)Angelica H.

Expensive salty cat food.

(3)Kenny N.
(2)John M.
Went there with my kids for lunch. Service was poor and the food was average. Only would go again because it is close by.
(2)Agi D.
Ordered take out. Quick delivery. Food is okay you wont rave about it but it does the job.
(3)Kelly A.
(1)Jennifer B.
(2)Chase G.
Not bad but not great, either. Better than Panda Express, for sure. I order delivery through grub hub's website. The double pan fried noodles with combo meats and the crab wontons arrived in about 15 minutes and it was hot and fresh. I'll order again and try a Thai dish soon.

(3)Don M.
(2)Sam M.
I work a few blocks away and went to lunch with a co-worker and are meals where very good till I notice my friend had a cockroach in his meal. Yes cockroach. The owner or think he is the owner didn't charge us for the meal. Unfortunately, the experience was one where I probably won't eat there again.

(3)Sue K.
went today and should have listened to my instincts ( and left ) when I walked in and there were all but tables occupied during lunch hour.
(1)Jason M.
(2)Tracie B.
(3)Jeff C.
(3)Kat A.
(3)Mark H.
This is exactly what a Chinese takeout place should be. Very fast (extremely fast even), consistent, Chinese food. Never disappoints.
(5)Sham D.
I went to this place a few weeks after they opened. There was a piece of what appeared to be some type of metallic wire-coil in my food. It looked like it came off of some kind of pan cleaning pad or brush. I could have been seriously hurt if I swallowed it. I have not went back to Taste of Asia since.
(2)Green H.
Bland.....Just as someone said....Panda Express has better food. Will never go back again!

(2)Ethan K.
(3)YWAM-SF C.
Clean friendly food is good but not outstanding
(3)KJ P.
Quite simply, dreadful. Right down to the fortune cookie.
(1)CJ B.
(2)Michael R.
(5)John G.
Horrible customer service. Extremely rude people running this place. Food was ok but I would never go back due to the way me and my family were treated.
(2)Tim H.

(1)Marsh M.
Bland, bland, bland. Kung pao chicken=not spicy Egg roll = soggy Wonton soup = 2 flat flavorless wontons. Boo. Never again
(1)Meghan D.
(2)M D.
(5)Tim T.
Amazingly fast delivery and solid food. Food is definitely no-frills Chinese, it won't blow you away but is always consistent, so you know what you're getting. As such, it's on the shortlist of go-to order-in options in our household, and has become a tradition when family is in town.
(4)NooNaa N.
It takes me one visit to decide never trying it again Not that awful but nothing about it will make me try it again
(2)Collin F.
Very good service fresh food and reasonable prices. Unlikely to cause an MII like everything else to eat around here.
(4)Asaf N.
(1)Stu P.
(1)Agi D.
Ordered take out. Quick delivery. Food is okay you wont rave about it but it does the job.
(3)Becky B.
(1)Jane D.
Horrible Chinese food. The chicken wings looked and tasted old and the rice was bland.
(1)Jason C.
Service and food were good. Price was reasonable. I dined in, between 1 and 2 pm on a Friday.
(4)Chris M.
(2)L M.
(1)Kelly A.

Went there with my kids for lunch. Service was poor and the food was average. Only would go again because it is close by.

(3)Keegan P.
I would probably go back again. Ordered take out. Had the Beef Lo Mein and fried dumplings. Wasn't too long a wait. The dumpling casings were a little on the thick size, but the food tasted good and I ate it all. They were good about making sure my take out bag had anything I would need.
(3)Chuck M.
What's with those crazy reviews. Dinner and service tonight was perfect. In fact, the place filled up after I started to eat my meal...others must like this place as well..!
(4)D R.
I've been here a few times ... decent chinese food ... good lunch specials.
(4)Sue K.
went today and should have listened to my instincts ( and left ) when I walked in and there were all but tables occupied during lunch hour.
(1)Jason M.
(2)Tracie B.
(3)Jeff C.
(3)Kat A.
(3)Mark H.
This is exactly what a Chinese takeout place should be. Very fast (extremely fast even), consistent, Chinese food. Never disappoints.
(5)Michael W.
Came here for a business trip and stayed nearby. Ordered the Lo Mien with chicken to go. Came out to be $8 which I guess is normal. Surprisingly the food came out within 5 minutes. Taste is generic, but I can't complain since I'm a simple guy.
(3)Don M.
(2)Sam M.

(3)Angelica H.
(3)Tyler F.
My wife and I aren't Chinese food experts (or any-food experts), but we enjoy the food here. We've only ever ordered delivery and it's always been extremely fast, hot, and very good.
(4)Chica C.
Disgusting.

Expensive salty cat food.

(2)Dave B.
(3)David S.
Blech! I agree with Liz S, go to Panda Express instead. Nothing I've had from here is good. If you're in Park Hill and seeking delivery, order from Spicy Thai/Sushi Wow.

The latest menu I got in the mail has this printed on the cover, I copy it verbatim here, I kid you not: "AS you Shopping, your stomach mignt growl and you'll ask yourself: Where should I eat?

After finding "extras" in our food twice, we had to stop eating here. Extras of the insect variety, if you know what I mean. We haven't found acceptable Chinese delivery in the area, so we drive to Chef Liu's.
(1)Jane M.
(3)Marco A.
(2)Leah S.
(2)KJ P.
Quite simply, dreadful. Right down to the fortune cookie.

(2)Ethan K.

I went to this place a few weeks after they opened. There was a piece of what appeared to be some type of metallic wire-coil in my food. It looked like it came off of some kind of pan cleaning pad or brush. I could have been seriously hurt if I swallowed it. I have not went back to Taste of Asia since.
