Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

I absolutely love this place. Cool atmosphere and even better pizza. I had the grinder pizza. Ingredients are fresh and delicious. The best part is the crust. It has a crispy outer shell and a warm doughy inside. This is now my best pizza joint in Denver. Be prepared to struggle to find parking.

I will start about saying the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and food came out relatively fast. Here's my complaint. The pizza is WAY over priced. I paid 7 dollars for a "mega slice" that really isn't that mega. The way they cook pizza is similar to that of Pizza Hut and taste more like a frozen pizza you could get at King Soopers. You could go to Anthonys pizza get a slice twice the size for half the price and honesty, better taste. I feel bad saying this because again the staff was very friendly. But definitely not worth the money.

Pizza was awesome. Got the wild pig. Awesome!! Great food, quick service and ton of beers to wash it down. Smaller place to sit down unless you go upstairs and enjoy the big red chairs.

I have been going to this place because the pizzas were quite good and the dough was great... Lately, every time I go, I end up having stomach aches for a couple of days. I was willing to withstand the stomach aches until yesterday (sunday 9) I got the order wrong and the person attending was a jerk! No more pizzas for me...

Great pizza, great service what more could you want? In love!! Honestly can't say more. It's the best pizza I've ever had the pleasure of having.

This is now one of my favorite pizza spots. The crust is always perfect, and I really appreciate their fondness for pineapple as well. My favorite is the Snowmine, but they have a good number of inventive pizza toppings. They also sell by the slice, and the location is pretty alright for having a beer and hanging out as well. Very welcome addition to the prospect neighborhood.

Well yelp said "terrible pizza" was too short so i guess ill elaborate... Im surprised this has good reviews lol cosmos, sexy, marquis, lucky pie, idk i could go on and on abt pizza id rather have Watching it being prepared is quite interesting, after growing up in NY for 25 years i never saw pizza made this way - not even at Dominos lol Its like bootleg beau joes meets digiorno... Cheap little chicken bites that remind me of frozen tysons nibblers... I was just gonna say it sucked - but yelp wanted the details lol

Really great service and nice people. Always have had tasty pizza here and the Cesar salad is really good. Fun little bar to hang out at as well.

I can't put my finger on it, but something tells me they like bikes here... We're super stoked to have a pizza spot we can stumble over to after having no food in this neighborhood for years. The pizza was great - we split a medium which was perfect for two people. The price was comparable to any other pizza spot. The dough was clearly handtossed, toppings were high quality, and they didn't skimp on the fresh basil. Everyone there was helpful and friendly. Also- $3.75 drink specials? $2 PBR's? Awesome! We'll be back!

This place is great. I'm not a great lover of pizza, but they do it right. Interesting and delicious pizzas, make it a good place to get a pizza or slice, but the bar is really what makes this place special. It has the perfect neighborhood feeling with a great, friendly staff, that makes you feel like you are just hanging out with friends.

They are a little bit pricey, but the pizza is really good! There some unique flavor combos that are delicious, as well as gluten free pizza, which is a thin and crispy crust (love!) I would recommend it if you're in the area, the actual restaurant is a cool place to hang out!

Popped into this place today in need of a quick bite and very impressed. The pizza is awesome- portions are huge and they have a great variety of toppings. I tied the Thai pizza and my friend got the buffalo pizza. Both amazing. The space is also great. Two stories. The upstairs has couches and ample seating and the bar has a good variety of drinks. Happy hour: one slice, shot and pbr for $8

Be careful eating this pizza. Pizza is my favorite food group and now I cant stand to eat it anywhere but here. Everyone has their own idea of what pizza should taste like. For me this is the perfect pizza. I used to love the pizza at wazee supper club. I wont go back there now unless this place shuts down. This pizza is not greasy. The toppings and sauce are very fresh. There is just enough cheese to keep the other toppings from sliding off but not so much that it becomes a gooey glob. The sauce has some zing to it but it doesn't overpower the rest of the toppings. The crust is thin but not too thin and crispy but not too dry or too crunchy. I have tried several versions on the menu but my favorite is the Granny Gear. The service is fast and friendly but I love this pizza so much I would eat here if it were slow and rude.

I really like this place. Their pies are delicious and the interior is really cool. The light fixtures above the bar are made of bike parts and the bar is full service. To me, this place is a great option downtown - low key with some tasty affordable finger food. The bar area is kinda separate from the pizza pick-up area on the other side of the ovens, so it's warm and there's no draft when it's cold out.

It's a group of cool guys running this place and we're glad to have pizza, sushi, and whiskey in the strip near the Prospect neighborhood. Their special tabletop oven is good at cranking out slices fast but if you like crispy/blackened crust be sure to ask for it well done or crispy.

Newly opened mountain biking themed pizza joint in LoDo. The prices are pretty steep by my assessment ($6.50 for a slice of specialty pizza, which to be fair is actually more like 2 4 in slices.) The crust was moist, doughy and distinctly flour-y. Everyone in our party said their slices were "understated" and "subtle" which is a delicate way of saying a bit flavorless. The "Mo" (garlic olive oil, basil, tomato, cheese) was by far the best one we tried. We couldn't taste the pineapple or cream cheese on the "Hardtail" at all. Overall a solid pizza place, but I don't think I would go out of my way for those prices. They serve New Belgium beers and Angry Orchard hard cider as a few hard liquors.

Ron M. Is a moron. You wouldn't know good food if it punched you in the face. This place has brought a unique style to making pizza. You should keep you comments to yourself bc your wrong. Stay home and eat your e z Mac and your Hungry Man dinners bc you'd be the last person I want sitting next to me at any restaurant.

Awesome pizza!!! For custom well made pizza it's a pretty good price. We had a margerita pizza and it was so good. We've had their pizza at winter park too and their pizza sauce has a lot of flavor. I think Denver is lacking in good pizza, but this place is definitely by far the best I've had here and in general in a long time! Definitely recommend!!

Too stoned to function... Rarely do I walk walk out of a place after paying for my food. This place is the exception. Service was extremely slow and entire staff was less than pleased to help anyone. My pizza was served 15 minutes after my friend that ordered in front of me. Come to find out my pizza ended up on somebody else's table. When the situation arose, a man who seemed like the owner or manager asked me if I was ok with eating my food that had been sitting in front of an unknown person for five minutes. He got the hint that I was not into that, he offered to remake the pizza. Waiting another 15 minutes while my friends had already eaten their shitty pizza sounded like a great idea... I left hungry and will never return to this place again.
