Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Ordered threw grub hub at 9:30. Which is close to closing and they delivered it 15 minutes faster than it said. Food was amazing and made custom to order. Delivery driver was nice and professional. Would order again!

I've ordered from Pizza and Grill quite a few times, and have always had really good experiences! I've gotten both their gyro and their Philly, and they're both delicious. I ordered tonight however, and was pretty disappointed by the service I received. I ordered a Philly and it came sans cheese, so I called just hoping to get a buck or two off my next order. I didn't need a new sandwich or for them to go out of their way or anything. They guy on the phone was very nice and asked his manager about it. When he returned to the phone though, he told me his manager was "pretty sure he put a slice on there" and it might just be hard to see. Having the sandwich in front of me, I assured him there was none. The manager refused to do anything about it. I still like their food, and generally they do a good job, but I'm extremely disappointed with how something so simple was handled. I work as a server, and I feel like it's fairly common practice to offer a small discount if something like this occurs. I hope the management steps up their game soon.

This place is great. For as much stuff as they have on there menu they do a great job. The burritos and Indian food are by far the best, there bbq and buffalo chicken pizza comes in second. There delivery is always fast and if they forget something they are rite back with that item. I highly recommend especially if your hungover!

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger for delivery.. THEY USED TURKEY BACON OK.. There is a big difference between bacon and Turkey bacon and it ruined everything

  • Jada B.

Fuuuuuck no. They forgot items on my delivery list and chastised me for requesting those items. Whatever was being angrily spoken at the other line sounded like a big, "Fuck you." If I only had to pay $20 for nothing but peace of peace of mind that I never have to order from here again, then there's one star. The second star is for the pure amount of different foods you could order from here.

I work one store front down from Pizza & Grill and I've had their food a few times. I've had their pepperoni pizza and it was pretty yummy. It had a really delicious and thin crust as well. I've also had their cheese ravioli and it was delicious! I was a little apprehensive considering their wide menu variety, but I sure wasn't correct. It was very flavorful and I will definitely be ordering it again. I also ordered the NY style cheesecake for dessert and it was just as good as the ravioli I had had for dinner prior. I was left wondering which entree was better and instead decided to order from Pizza & Grill again when I was feeling indecisive about dinner. I can't wait to explore the rest of their menu!

So I really loved this place. We just ordered delivery from them but the order came very quickly and the food was GREAT! We had a range of items from a cheeseburger and fries, to pizza, to a chimichanga. I thought it was awesome how they have a such a variety of items and they are able to still make the taste of everything amazing. The prices were super cheap too, I couldn't believe it! I'm definitely going to order from this place again.

  • Cameron R.

The menu is extensive and the prices are pretty much unbeatable for the Denver area. The wings are pretty average, but again, a old deal for the price. I have also had the Philly sandwich which is tasty, and we have had a couple of the pizza breads as well that are tasty. I also love the fish and chips here! Being as its Colorado, it's not the freshest I have ever had, but they are pretty good and again, the price is right. I have never been in to the actual restaurant as we typically order through grubhub. If you do order through grubhub, you can get a free big slice of cake if your order is over $35. If you are buying food for a lot of people with different tastes, and don't want to spend a ton of money this is a great option.

Remember how Domino's Pizza used to be years ago (before they realized that people wanted better pizzas)? That's where Pizza and Grill is right now in terms of pizza quality. We ordered a Hawaiian. It was mostly cheese with an occasional mini cube of ham cut up. Had I not looked under the cheese with an electron microscope, I might have them all together. On the preparation side, their pizzas are clearly baked in one of those conveyor ovens that "decorate" the food with those little mini burnt spots. I'm sorry, but I'll take a real gas or wood-fired oven any day of the week over this. I give this place a big meh.

When you aren't feeling well, going outside in the 10 degree snowy weather isn't exactly appealing... Looked up delivery on my trusty yelp app and came across Pizza and Grill. Checked out the menu.. wow lots of options. I was a little nervous, because I, like a lot of other people, usually have the mindset of "a restaurant should stick to one type of food" I ordered the baked cheese ravioli and my other half was having a fried chicken craving. This is probably the only restaurant where you can order both of those things and have them delivered, which is pretty awesome. Ordered online, delivery was fairly quick on a Friday evening. I think I was quoted 60min and it didn't take that long. Best of all my baked ravioli was hot to where I could see the steam coming off of it. This rarely happens with delivery food. Ravioli was tasty and the chicken had a nice crispy crust on it. All and all a good experience and I would order from here again.

Their pizza is pretty good, nothing to write home about. Take my word for it please & don't bother with the Indian dishes.

  • Lee S.

Very good pizza at a very good price. I ordered a 16 inch meatball pizza and it was fantastic. Delivery took only 20 minutes and pizza was steaming hot when delivered. If your looking for a solid delivery pizza, look no further. The box says home of the 7 dollar pizza, so you may want to look in to that when ordering.

Awesome location - right in the hood and close to everything. I like to stop in to this business when I need a quick bite to eat before hitting the town. It's got a real easy squeezy vibe that is perfect for Cap Hill. Pizza & Grill is always a good option. They don't do pizza by the slice but rather you can order a small personal pizza with whatever you want on it! I like that it's unique in that way. Also available are sandwiches and pastas and salads. Can't say I've ever tried those items but at least I could if I wanted to! No booze service which is a bummer but at least you can get your grub on for cheap. I hear they deliver as well so that's a bonus. Really, this place is good for when you just need to get your pizza fix before hitting up the Broadway party scene. I'm for sure a fan and plan to be back!

  • Elena V.

This place is awesome. If you can spare an extra $2 to avoid the infamous "$5 dollar pizzas", do it! $7 for a large, decent tasting pepprroni pizza is awesome. I especially like to take it home to add veggies on it! The food is consistently hot, and the hot wings are super effing awesome-- especially with the blue cheese dipping sauce. The inside is a little bit out dated and awkward/dirty feeling, but I can look past that. Take out time estimates have always been accurate. I think I'll try this places' Indian dishes sometime! I'll keep ya posted.

The pizza here is terrible unless you can't afford to buy pizza from anywhere else in Denver and/or you are drunk or high. This is the only time this pizza is palatable.

  • Natalie D.

Great food, terrible service. Such a catch 22. The staff are rude and disrespectful. They are very unprofessional.maybe under new management. Such a shame for such good food.If your hungry right away I would suggest somewhere different. Usually later than the projected times.

Ok so I mistakingly came into this place while looking for a competitor across the street but I was still very satisfied with what I got. This place was as good as all the other reviews say it will be! I order the personal pizza and the mozzarella bread sticks with garlic and marinara sauce. The total came out to be like $8 and was worth it. Everything had so much flavor. You can order specialty pizzas or you can get a standard cheese and choose your own toppings for a $1 in addition to the pizza size you want. The service was great, the guy behind the counter was so nice. So were the cooks in the back that would bring out the pizzas when they were done for the customers. From the outside it doesn't look like much but who cares because what you're looking for is the quality food. I walked there from my hotel but it looked like there was plenty of parking on the street around the block. The inside isn't that large so it may not be ideal for more than like 3 groups of 4 but most people that came through there while I was waiting were not eating in, they were all carry out. The ONLY draw back about Attivo would be that you may need to add a few laps to your morning run before going there or the next day when your feeling the extra weight because it is definitely filling and heavy. I will definitely be going here again and recommending it.

My girlfriend and I found this place on an app she downloaded for deliveries and it was at the top so we decided to check it out. We are all about quality, but don't mind saving a few bucks. With pizza, the quality is always a crap shoot, but with my constant craving for pizza we gave Pizza and Grill a try. This place is awesome! No delivery charge. Delivery time is fairly fast and the quality hasn't disappointed us yet. We have had 3 pizzas delivered so far twice with nachos and a 2 liter. Every time The toppings are correct (including the often forgotten extra cheese) and the taste is definitely up there with the best. The nachos are unbelievable and piled high with jalapenos, sour cream, ground beef, cheese, a side of salsa and no shortage of chips. If you're on a tight budget and you're looking for some great food this is the place to get it from.

Cheap and fast service. Decent pizza for the price. One of the only places we found taco pizza in Denver but they don't provide taco sauce or nacho chips on top.

I came in the other night because I was hungover and craving a nice, greasy burger. My friend, who was not hungover, came with me in search of a good pizza. We ordered our food to go. The kid behind the counter was friendly enough, and the food came out quickly enough. My burger was served in a box, with the burger, bacon, cheese, and top bun wrapped in tin foil, and the bottom bun sitting on top of that. At first I thought that was weird, but then I remembered how much I hate when the bottom bun is soaked in grease by the time I get to eat it, so after thinking about it, I'm a fan of this approach. The burger itself was decent. Nothing special, but nothing wrong with it either. It's a fairly generous portion size for the price. The fries that come with it, however, are under seasoned, if they're seasoned at all. Once you put some salt and pepper on them, they taste good enough. My friend told me that his pizza was similarly tasty, but at the same time, not excellent. I liked the look of the rest of the menu, which is varied (Mexican, Greek, pizza, calzones, pasta, hot subs, cold subs, etc.), so if I come back, I'll try something else (the gyros and the chicken shawarma looked good), but the burger wasn't really worth trying again in my opinion.

I've left a review before, but they deserve another. EVERY SINGLE TIME we order from here, and I have to admit it's probably once a week, it is consistently good. Boyfriend has graduated from the pizza to the... I don't know what it's called. The Philly with mayo. I find myself sneaking guilty bites when he's not home if there's leftovers. The fries are some of the best I've had, delivery driver always comes to our door (very rare at a large apartment complex- usually call when they reach the front) and my gyro salad is always enough to make me stop eating all the fries. I can't speak highly enough to this place, one of the only constants in delivery. You know what I mean? You order and it's the best thing, next time it's so-so? Not here, always hits the spot.

  • Melanie S.

My friends and I ordered several pizzas, a burger, chicken strips and jalopeno poppers. The good: the food arrived hot and delivered in under an hour. The bad: The cheese pizza was fine, but the rest of the food was poor. The cheese burger was so bad we didn't eat it. Overall, the food quality was very poor and no one enjoyed the food. We felt like we could have had better food from a drive through. The ugly: I called the restaurant to speak with the manager and he seemed defensive and unapologetic, not offering to make it right. We had to ask for a discount in which he was very reluctant. For $45 he gave us $5 off. Overall, very unimpressed and disappointed.

I was a faithful customer before ordering from their like once a week but after this and no offer to get my food compted or any apologies I will no longer be a customer!

I object to is this company's advertising. They hire dirtbags to walk around the neighborhood and tape their menu to your front door, only today's dirtbag thought it would be a good idea to remove some mail from my mailbox, tape this crappy menu to it and drop that in front of my door. I choose to boycott any company that uses this form of advertising as ask everyone in Denver to do the same. Who cares if the food is good or not - front door spam delivered by dirtbags is annoying. I'll go elsewhere.

I was going to give them 4 stars, but their dining area is not clean. Makes me wonder about the hygiene in the food preparation. I have only tried their pizza from the vast menu. Is it an amazing pizza? No. You can find better places downtown. But most likely at a higher price. The prices on their pizzas are about the same with the Big 3 (Pizza Hut, Domino's and Papa John's). And I liked it more than Pizza Hut's Hand Tossed, for example. The crust is thin but not NY style. The toppings are not fancy, but OK. Fair amount of cheese. I would recommend giving this place a try. Do not expect wonders, but a good value? Yes!

On a whim to try something new, we had an awesome takeout experience with Pizza & Grill. I personally had their strip steak sandwich, and thought it was perfect, especially for the price. We shared chicken wings, (excellent flavor, nice and crispy, not over sauced) Everyone from the order taker to the delivery guy was super friendly, and the order arrived piping hot much earlier than they had predicted. This isn't a gourmet food stuffs operation, but it was decent quality stuff you love, done in a friendly and tasty fashion, and delivered quickly on the cheap. What more could you hope for?

Okay, so the hawaiian pizza was great. The service not so great. The cleanliness not so great. They had to remake our pizza because they made us a sausage instead of a hawaiian. Nothing free, no discount, just disorganization and confusion. I was very disappointed in the atmosphere. If you're going to order here, get delivery and skip the mess.

Food was 30 minutes late. And cold. And missing items. And the delivery guy was pretty much rude. I want to say something good about this place to justify two stars, so... Free chocolate cake! But I spent thirty bucks to get it. So thanks Pizza & Grill for the thirty dollar slice of chocolate cake! Yum yum!

I love pizza and grill. They have really great toppings and our pizza is always done perfect. Crunchy crust and tons of toppings. They are pretty inexpensive too. They guys who work there (and maybe girls too just never seen any) are really nice and we've never had anything wrong with our pizza. We'll keep going here and we'll pick up if we ever move where they don't deliver!!

I have only tried the pizza lunch deal here and it was so delicious. I thought the staff was friendly, attentive and treated all the customers with the same courtesy. I look forward to sneaking away to have lunch here again, so I will hopefully have more to review. The menu is extensive and varied so it's a bit of one stop shop if they are able to hit various cravings. To be continued...

Just ordered mottz sticks and $7 pizza. two words. EWWW GROSS! Haven't had pizza this grotesque since grade school cafeteria pizza. Just plain awful. Probably the worst pizza in town. Worse than Papa John's and BlackJack. The mottz sticks were cold and nasty but I guess that was my fault for ordering them on a delivery. I will never get Pizza from this place again. Lesson: Cheaper is not always worth it. I'll spend a few dollars more and go to SliceWorks or Sully's, where I don't feel like I need to vomit after eating dinner.

I kinda felt I made a mistake when I came in here today.....they have every kind of food it seems and the place was empty (in afternoon). I decided on the gyro special for $7 and was very happy with the sandwich! Lots of meat and the pita was fresh and warm. The fries were also tasty, crisp and hot. While there, their phone kept ringing for delivery so others like it too. I will be back ....and curious how their Indian food is?

My favorite pizza in denver. I like the cheese on my pizza nicely browned, and they do it perfectly. Tasty sauce and ingredients too. Price is great too. Speedy delivery.

A totally solid lunch option if you're in the area, especially the subs. I think their meatball sub is one of the better versions in town. Mostly because they take the time to fully toast the entire sandwich, sot he cheese gets nice and melty with a good, crusty toasting on the bread. I noticed they have a couple of Indian dishes like a chicken tikka masala on the menu. I'll have to give a try to see how it is.

I live about a block away, so I'm a bit protective of this place. Great sandwiches (far superior to the next door Spicy Pickle, which has gone wayyyyy downhill) and pizza, for super cheap (You can get a large cheese for $7). The interior is kind of small, but they do take-out and delivery as well. My favorite is the gyro with fries, and this is the only place to get a good gyro in this part of town. The family that runs it is very friendly and nice, and everyone should support this locally run business instead of some chain monstrosity. Try them out!

Excellent hole-in-the-wall. These guys are very courteous. Definitely family owned and operated. Came in, sat down with my girlfriend and the service was great. The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations. Definitely reccommend sitting down and picking something on their enormous menu. It's bound to be a great lunch or dinner any day.

You know, this place ain't half bad, but the pizza seemed like something I could buy at the store to cook at home. I will give this place their due, however, because at least it wasn't shitty ass pizza like Famous Pizza that is anything but. The poppers were okay, but fell apart a little too quickly. The people who work here are friendly and courteous (family owned?). Their menu is pretty big for such a small place. I'll have to try some other things. You should, too.

My boyfriend and I decided to stay in last night and order delivery, something we never do because in our minds what is usually associated with delivery is slow service, soggy food, and getting a sad representation of the restaurant. Our options were limited since the only delivery menu deemed worthy of having a spot on the fridge was from Pizza & Grill. It was a 2 page menu comprised of pizzas, pastas, seafood, calzones, subs, mexican, indian, stuffed breads, and I'm sure I'm missing 2 or 3 other categories. It was like if Pete's Kitchen delivered. I have an affinity for weird, all over the place menus like this because I'm the type of person who WILL order dolmades with eggs, hashbrowns, and an english muffin, and I DO crave mashed potatoes and Ethiopian food at the same time. He's raved about their calzones, he's tried the triple meat before and I was going to order the spinach but we put in an order for the Italian Feast instead, which is 2 large orders of spaghetti w your choice of meatballs, sausage, or no meat, 2 large orders of salad w a generous side of your choice of dressing, a 2 liter soda of your choice and 4 garlic breadsticks for $19.99. We also ordered a medium extra cheese pizza with sausage. The bill came to $32. Which is so much food for that price it's ridiculous. We were told it would be 45 minutes and they got it to us in 30. The delivery guy was exceptional. Exceptionally nice, helpful (he climbed up 5 stories just to help my bf bring in the heavy amount of food), exceptionally smiley. As we tore into our dinner every part just got better and better. Their pizza was thin but not too thin, the cheese was browned just right, our orders were exactly how we wanted it, my spaghetti with no meat and his with sausage (they gave him a heaping portion of it), the garlic bread was good and there were actually real greens (spinach leaves) in their salad instead of just iceberg lettuce which might as well be a condiment. The spaghetti was really good and we were very, very happy with Pizza & Grill and will definitely do delivery with them again. They totally gave me hope in my otherwise dismal non-relationship with delivery food, and just in time for winter!

This place is great. For as much stuff as they have on there menu they do a great job. The burritos and Indian food are by far the best, there bbq and buffalo chicken pizza comes in second. There delivery is always fast and if they forget something they are rite back with that item. I highly recommend especially if your hungover!

The $7 pizza deal brought me in, the quality of the pizza will keep me coming back. Medium thick crust, soft and chewy. Tasty red sauce and plenty of cheese. I can walk three blocks in winter and the pizza is still warm when I get home. Friendly staff. I can hardly wait to try their entrees.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! They have large cheese or pepperoni pizza for only $7 every day. It's pretty decent pizza; especially for that price. They also have delicious, meaty wings (BBQ or Buffalo style). Very reasonably priced. They have quite an extensive menu and generous portions. Great hot or cold subs. They even have a small number of Indian dishes. The salads are fresh and inexpensive. I haven't had anything there that wasn't superb. They have dine-in, take-out, or delivery.

Okay... it is embarrassing how much I order form pizza and grill. It is a stone's throw away from me, yet I always get delivery. They supply the worlds best hangover cure... no matter what you are craving. My friends raved about this place when I moved into the neighborhood. "Great burgers and awesome pizza," they said. I doubted them. I thought it sounded gross that they had everything all on one menu. I am usually a firm believer that people should stick to one avenue when preparing food in their restaurant.... i was wrong. Pizza and grill can do it all. I especially like their 7 dollar cheese pizza and their wings. They have REALLY good hot wings. I am picky about those... but I get these well done and they are bomb. Order from pizza and grill if you need to cure a hangover, need a cheap pizza, and want a place that will deliver ANYTHING and everything for you and your friends the morning / afternoon after you big party. :)

The food was decent, nothing more. I had the Gyro w/ fries ($8) and garlic bread w/ marinara sauce. ($4) Delivery time was accurate although my fries and bread were room temperature. Fries could use some salt, or maybe that's just me. 3 stars go to the hot gyro. Delivery guy couldn't break a 10 so I left him with only a dollar. Was left with a glare from a young teen boy with glasses.

I like this place a lot. Honestly I haven't tried most of the menu, but I absolutely love their steak fries. They're my favorite fries in Cap Hill, and I've only even known the staff to be nice and accommodating (all the ketchup I can eat!). Not sit-down restaurant but if youre looking for tasty take-out and a huge variety, give this place a try

I'm conflicted, the pizza was really good, hot, and delivered quickly. I run a business that orders a lot of pizza and I have been looking for a good place to order from on a regular basis. On a strictly taste perspective, this could have been our new favorite. This is where the conflict comes in; I used the coupon they offered for 2 x 2 topping pizzas for $20. I was ordering to have the pizza delivered through an on-line service. When I went to pick my two toppings I chose "Extra Cheese" for one and then left a comment asking if that could be ricotta or feta since they don't have the kinds of cheeses as an option anywhere. Because of that request they reversed the original charge and added $4.32 to my bill. (automatically, without contacting me or getting my permission). I have two problems with them doing this. First, they had my phone number and could have paid me the courtesy of a quick phone call to ask if I was willing to pay extra. Second they charge only $2.00 for another whole topping so where did this arbitrary $4.32 come from when the whole pizza with two toppings was only $10.00? I ended up having to file a complaint with Grub Hub to get the charge reversed. It's too bad, really because the pizza was surprisingly good and we would order from them quite a bit if I didn't have to worry about arbitrary charges.

I love pizza grille. I can't speak for their pizza, but we get items like the cheeseburger, gyro, chicken fingers, etc...and it is always delicious. It arrives really quickly ALWAYS. the food is hot, and i think its delicious. I'm sure a lot of the lower reviews are because if you have some type of customer service interaction with them, its sure to be a rude experience. But....im not factoring that into the score because i think speed and quality trump that!

This is really good delivery food with generous portions. You will want to write home to your mother after tasting their subs. I had a (drunk) friend over and was splitting the special chicken sub with him, and he kept asking me where I ordered the sandwich from because it was so tasty. He asked me at least three times. Not that a drunk person is necessarily a valid food critic, but I have had the subs sober many times and they are delicious. The mozzarella sticks are thick, crispy breaded missiles which house gloriously gooey cheese. Recommended. Side note: I do have a weakness for mozzarella sticks- I know, such a sophisticated palate-so I may be a little biased, but I find them to be quite good. I'm sure their Indian food is far from authentic, but the chicken biryani is quite good bastardized version of the Indian classic and will feed you 2-4 meals. Their salads are standard fare, with iceberg lettuce. I recently read horrible things about iceberg lettuce, so I shy away from this menu option. The wings are absolutely average. The pizza (I had the taco) is completely tasty and legit. The delivery time is longer than most in Denver. Pro tip! If you are ordering online, do not include your gratuity until the delivery driver arrives. If you pre-tip, the drivers take liberties and deliver your food last and a little cold.

I've ordered delivery from them three times now. The food is great, and delivery is quick too! I was nervous ordering the pizza because the price to me is cheap. However, I was truly surprised. The pizza is awesome. Pair is with the wings!

Disclaimer: I am one of the people that are totally against restaurants that have huge, varied menus such as this one. Generally it means you do 100 different types of food, and do them all poorly. This place is the one exception I've found. That's not to say the food is spectacular...because it's not. However, I'm yet to have anything from this place that is bad. Their pizza is solid, sandwiches are always good, and their fries somehow stay crisp and hot during delivery. Hell, even the random naan bread we ordered was decent. Want something spectacular? Go somewhere else. Want some decent sandwiches, pizza or anything else? Give this place a shot.

THE FOOD HERE IS HORRIBLE... DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!! I've actually came back to this place 2 or 3 times, because it is one of the only places in town that will deliver a variety of food (something other than just pizza, subs or Chinese). I was hoping that they could do something right, but each of my different meals was straight up DISGUSTING!!! You can't even use the price as a justification... It's that bad

I haven't had a lot of good experiences so far with delivery joints in Denver, but I was pleasantly surprised with Pizza & Grill. I wasn't in the mood to cook and when I first saw their name it didn't exactly inspire me, but the reviews were solid so I gave them a shot. Glad I did! I order the Gyro and a 2 liter of diet Pepsi (mainly to hit the minimum delivery order $10). The food showed up early and was still plenty warm and tasted great! By far my favorite place so far for delivery!

HORRIBLE CANNED FOOD!!!!! Every topping on my pizza was from a can, including the sauce! Too tart! I asked for double ingredients, got single. Awesome pizza. If you've never had it, you've got to try it. I won't get pizza anywhere else in Denver. This place is really great. Their delivery is always pretty prompt too. Last night, we order three calzones, garlic bread, and fried zucchini for delivery. My friend and I got a "make your own" calzone with pepperoni, green olives, and spinach. The calzones were nice and big, which crispy crusts. But, when we cut our calzone in half, we realized that the spinach was canned (or thawed from frozen). It was the tinny, slimy, dark black goop that I remember hating as a kid and hate even more now (see the photo I've uploaded). Not only that, but there was a good cup of it in the calzone and comprised the majority of the filling. My friend and I scooped it out and ate the rest of the calzone, which was pretty meh. The garlic bread was decent, except that they had slapped two of the halves together, so the cheese was only on one half. I did like the fried zucchini, which isn't that common on restaurant menus. I'm just surprised that a pizza place would go so cheap as to not use fresh spinach. If you can't afford it: don't offer it. There are two other pizza places in Denver that make awesome calzones for the same price (or cheaper) and use fresh ingredients, so I'll be going to them from now on for that particular item. If my friends want to order from here again, hopefully I'll find something else on the menu that is a little fresher.

Order from pizza and grill if you need to cure a hangover, need a cheap pizza, and want a place that will deliver ANYTHING and everything for you and your friends the morning / afternoon after you big party. :)

The food was decent, nothing more. I had the Gyro w/ fries ($8) and garlic bread w/ marinara sauce. ($4) Delivery time was accurate although my fries and bread were room temperature. Fries could use some salt, or maybe that's just me. 3 stars go to the hot gyro. Delivery guy couldn't break a 10 so I left him with only a dollar. Was left with a glare from a young teen boy with glasses.

I order their $5 pizzas and they're always delivered quickly. I've tried their Italian pastas and Indian dishes and they have always tasted great. Love the food at this place.

Great delivery place. Prices, speed, variety. Everything you want from a fry/delivery place. Reminds me of a lot of local fast food places overseas.

$7 large pizza? Yes. Please. Super convenient, cheap and tasty. Honestly, I haven't tried anything here except pizza, but it is great and worth a try when you are on a budget.

Yes!

Fair eats for a cheap price. The pizza is akin to Domino's which is not necessarily a terrible thing. Not sure I'll return unless it's convenient again.

Nice place. Had a chicken calzone and a piece of NY cheesecake. The homemade marinade was really nice. Overall a decent place to get some decent pizza. A solid 3.5 stars.

The best non-authentic gyros in town... the massive pieces of meat may, dare I say, make it better than the original!

First time there and definitely not the last time. The sub I got has lasted three lunches. The bacon is real. They didn't skimp on anything. It was fast, reasonably priced and tasty. What more can you ask for?

I haven't had a lot of good experiences so far with delivery joints in Denver, but I was pleasantly surprised with Pizza & Grill. I wasn't in the mood to cook and when I first saw their name it didn't exactly inspire me, but the reviews were solid so I gave them a shot. Glad I did! I order the Gyro and a 2 liter of diet Pepsi (mainly to hit the minimum delivery order $10). The food showed up early and was still plenty warm and tasted great! By far my favorite place so far for delivery!

After my LSU Tigers won against Bama, I wasn't feelin so great the next day. I was in need of some comfort food and pizza just felt like the ebst way to go. I ordered a large pizza and the rasberry cheesecake and about 30mins later, the delievery guy showed up! The pizza was perfection!!! It was exactly as ordered and nice and hot! I was instantly in heaven! And the cheesecake!! OMGness, the cheesecake!! It completely hit the spot! I love this place!! I will definitely be ordering from here again!!!

I enjoy this place especially after a night of drinking. Nothing like having a cheeseburger delivered on Sunday at noon. I've ordered a few times and never really had any delays with delivery or having a problem with the wrong food ordered.

I ordered food and they got my order wrong. They then took another hour with the wrong order yet again. The food that they did deliver was COLD!

Great selection, good pizza and prices, fast delivery. Pretty much have whatever you're in the mood for, so if you ever have a craving for Somosas, buffalo wings and a smothered tamale, with pizza to wash it down, then this is your place.

HORRIBLE CANNED FOOD!!!!! Every topping on my pizza was from a can, including the sauce! Too tart! I asked for double ingredients, got single. Yes, the delivery was quick but is it any wonder with dumping ingredients out of a can??? Ordered a side of dipping sauce that tasted OLD, had to spit out!

This place never fails! It's exactly what a neighborhood grub stop is supposed to be. Do not let the look of this place fool you- the food and service are always top-notch! The spinach pizza is my go-to late night meal!

Awesome pizza. If you've never had it, you've got to try it. I won't get pizza anywhere else in Denver. This place is really great. Their delivery is always pretty prompt too. The have an enormous menu of indian food, mexican, salads, sandwiches, pasta, fish and chips, burgers, etc. etc. Check out their website.

  • Bill G.

  • William M.
