Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

We are passing through Denver from San Diego on our way to Muncie, Indiana. Last night we met my brother and his family at this Olive Garden (his choice). I was thrilled, because I like Olive Garden but my husband can't stand the chain so I never get to go. Our experience was so good, I think it might have convinced my husband to give the chain another try. Our water, Jeremy, will go down in family lore as the most entertaining and charming waiter ever. He charmed us and took excellent care of us. The food (from soup/salad to some specialty Jeremy recommend that was out of this world) was fresh, hot and prompt. Wish we could stick around for another great meal. Maybe Jeremy will come to San Diego and improve the Olive Garden Chain there.

I've become "that guy". You know, the guy that comes home after work and collectively decides with his spouse that instead of trying to cook at home we just pack up the little guy and head to a chain restaurant for dinner. Yep, that guy. Olive Garden does a solid job of catering to "that guy." They quickly seat my wife and bouncing off the wall kid in a nice booth in the bar area. When the waiter greeted us and proceeded to spill the water all over our table and feet, we instantly felt right at home. Funny and they recovered nicely from the accident. Throughout the meal, our waiter and his supporting cast were great. The neat thing they did that I have not seen in a restaurant before was the "would you like to try our wine feature this evening, which was a pinot noir." Good suggestive selling. They poured a small taste for each of us and it was good...it ended up being the one I ordered. The dinner salad and 175 calorie each bread sticks (my wife pointed that out to me) were average. Nothing exciting, but started off the meal. We got the toasted ravioli's (must be fried) and stuffed mushrooms (served in a bowl of butter and oil). My heart asked me to skip theses the next time around. My entree was outstanding...chianti braised short ribs over mushroom risotto. I did not expect this from a chain and will clearly go out of my way to order it again. They offered my son some ice cream with chocolate sauce for dessert, which allowed mom and dad some freedom to have an adult conversation. We would return. If you have children, you should go.

I hate writing a bad review but what I hate more is going out for dinner and not being waited on. Yep........sat there for about 10 minutes and not a single "hello". Visited this evening while out holiday shopping, thought I would stop in for convenience sake. Not a good idea. The restaurant wasn't too crowded since the weather was a bit horrible outside, thought service might be their top priority. Nope. Got nothing. So.......I walked out. Expressed my concern with the manager, she said she was sorry and asked if I would stay. Didn't even offer me a free drink or anything for my time. If this place was busy, I'd understand. The waiter walked past our table about 5 times without making a stop. I will not be going back, EVER.

It was pretty good and it's just like any other Olive Garden. The service was pretty good as well...

Good service, bad food. Breadsticks were fresh but really hard. I got the lunch portion of lasagna which was $9.50 and it was very tiny and just tasted ok for lasagna. Me and my boyfriend ordered tiramisu and it was FROZEN. It would have been a decent piece of tiramisu if it wasn't full of ice crystals.

Wow, this location has done a complete one-eighty from the last time we visited a few months ago. Tonight all the employees were polite and doing exactly what they were supposed to be- a well-oiled machine, if you will. The waiter was on his A game and other servers were also friendly with us. The manager, Dan I think, made a point of checking in with us and it was icing on the cake. The ONLY thing that was not so good was the fact that we were only given 1 basket of 3 breadsticks for our meal, which we finished with our salad. When we were finishing up I asked for a to go box and some breadsticks. I looked at the breadsticks later and they were all burnt up :( I still had a great experience tonight and will return soon.

I love the Olive Garden....they're all the same and they're all freakin awesome.
(4)Paul T.
Mussels were over cooked, bread was stale. Service was good. Overall just ehhhh
(3)Jason S.
Our food tasted great. The waiter forgot to bring out our appetizer but gave us a delicious cake to make up for it. The place was clean but a little too loud... I can't blame the place though because it was Prom night and full of a crap load of high schoolers with ill-advised haircuts.

Great experience waiter did an awesome job offered not to embarrass me on my birthday. Although he didn't embarrass my wife like I asked, probably thought I was joking.

I'm not a fan of the Olive Garden. It's not that it's a chain - we go to several chains on a regular basis - also, we're not snobs. Aside from the fact that the food is uninspired, there's something about the ambiance that I just don't like. That said, they serve a five cheese baked zitti that my wife just loves. Consequently, a couple of times a year I'll let her talk me into it . We stopped for dinner after shopping last Saturday. The place was very busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table. Nor was there an excessive wait for our drinks, salad or main courses. The service was efficient and friendly. She had her usual. I ordered the Steak Gorgonzola-Alfredo, and had a glass of their house pinot noir. I was surprised at how tasty everything was. The sirloin medallions were perfectly cooked to my medium rare order, and were very tender and juicy. They were drizzled with a balsamic sauce and served over fettuccine with the aforementioned cheese sauce and spinach. The wine was quite nice and a perfect compliment to the steak. All in all, a much more satisfying experience than I usually have at the Olive Garden. Now, if I could just find a time when the place isn't inundated with large family groups and their loud and out of control kids (maybe I just figured out what I don't like about the ambiance).

The food is always good here! Zuppa is my favorite soup! Service is good and has improved over the last couple of years!

The last time i went there they didn't have bread and takes for ever to bring the food!!!

So I took the old lady to the OG on a gift card, and we were wildly surprised. We owe that to our server James. The place was jammed, but he made us feel like we were the only ones in there. We had a number of questions (not sure why, as the menu is not that mind blowing), and he patiently answered all of them. He was expedient with his service and checked in just enough to not drive us insane. Add bread sticks and salad to that, and you get one hell of a date night. Thanks!

Sit in Meredith's section!!! She is awesome! Best service I have had in a long while!!! Thank you Meredith!!!

This olive garden is always a solid choice... The location is located next to shopping and the.highway and is always busy but.the service is always quick and friendly. Our.server was solid she was on top of her game our drinks stayed full and she was always close for anything we needed... Me and.my wife's entrees came quick and were good I had a chicken Alfredo and my had the lemon chicken... The only reason I didnt not give 5 stars is the portions have really shrunk lately and olive garden was a go to for me when I wanted a large meal

What an amazing experience. I was completely blown away by the seasonal dish, Butternut Squash Alfredo Fettuccine. I was so impressed by the maple/cinnamon aromas and the golden color of the dish. The butternut squash wash cut into small cubes that were perfectly roasted to naturally pull out the sweet maple flavor. The Alfrado was not very cheese, but rather very light with the cinnamon flavor mixed perfectly in. I absolutely loved the dish. I love the fall and the yummy Thanksgiving flavors so i really enjoyed this unique twist to a fall flavor.

To Go Review: My quick dinner for a cold winter night when I don't feel like cooking. I call ahead and order a bucket of chicken gnocchi soup to go. It's huge, feeds 10-12 and costs around $23. Add 6 grilled and sliced chicken breasts for $18 and mix together. Makes 2+ meals for our hungry family of 4 for about $40. We don't eat in here and are not big fans of pasta but all of their soups are pretty good and it is very convenient for take out. I also really like the Zuppa Toscana kale and sausage soup.Check out their catering menu online... even just for a regular family dinner. Don't miss the special up front To Go Parking.

Yay for this Olive Garden branch! I've been here about 3 times in the past 2 yrs and really do love this chain, but the one in Westminster over a year ago really traumatized me and the service, food and the incompetence really appalled me and I've yet to even want give that place another chance. Well my hubby suggested after the airport to go here, little did I know it's because they had the never ending bowl of pasta. LOL Well needles to say I was glad because I do soo luv their mussels. The lo dow: Never ending Pasta bowl- He had pomadora sauce with fettucine & meatballs - delicious Cavatappi w/garlic alfred & sausage - Pretty good, but the sausage was a bit shriveled and over cooked. Mussels - smaller portion these days, but still Yummy Risotto balls - these are new and small bites, they were pretty tasty and moist when you bite into them. I was so full from 2 bowls of soup and eating the appetizer all by myself that I was only able to eat 1 round of pasta, but even for that price it was s meal worth paying for. Maybe I'll give the one in Westminster a try when I'm feeling in a good mood, but until then, it seems this will be my to go OG when driving back from the airport. All in all not a bad meal or price for just under $50.

Food is always good but service ranges from poor to mediocre. Tonight the service was just awful.

I stopped by here for a lunch time meal after a bike ride, so I was not particularly choosey, just hungry. My experiences at the Olive Garden in the past were nothing spectacular and I love Italian food when it's done properly so this place has always been a bit difficult for me. The Olive Garden is very good at what they do. What they do is serve passable Italian dishes to families at a reasonable price. I see them as a kind of Denny's for Italian food. The idea of family style salad and bread sticks that are unlimited must appeal to families on a budget. I saw plenty of families when I was in. I was also surprised by the steady stream of business they were doing well past the lunch hour. I guess the leisurely family meal out isn't completely dead. The food itself was ok. I had the lasagna primavera with grilled chicken. The family style salad is largely iceberg with some cabbage and carrots for color, plus black olives, red onions and croutons tossed in a light Italian dressing. Not at all bad. Standard fare. This lasagna was listed in the reduced calorie part of the menu. I like that they have this as a menu option. The menu is not overly complex and you can probably find a favorite or at least something that resembles it. I sat at the bar and the bar was not all that busy so I was able to get good, attentive service. It's Olive Garden, not the greatest Italian but certainly passable for a meal. Bring the family and be ready to eat all the salad and breadsticks you can stand. I would easily return to this location.

Honestly this particular location is the worst Olive garden you could come to. Twice I have came to thiss location and both times were a bad experience. Workers are rude the hosteses don't care for ppl that are there waiting they have so much aditude it's unreal. The food is not that good to be putting up with bad service

FYI. Olive Garden is SO Much more thank Soup, Salad and Breadsticks. I must admit I never have thought too much about Olive Garden till last night's Elite event. The staff were joined by Olive Garden Corporate Marketing to help Denver's Yelping Elite to sample/ enjoy some menu options ranging from Test Entrees to Traditional Favorites. First I must mention Kelli our server. She was nervous to start but performed and explained each course like a Rock Star. Thanks again for your service. Now on to the long list of food: Fried Risotto Balls. Think Italian inspired Fried Mac & Cheese. Yummy, but probably the least favorite out of all the items ahead. Polenta Shrimp alla Greca. This appetizer was actually my favorite item out of all the offerings! A must try. Creamy Polenta topped with Large Shrimp in a decidedly Mediterranean style tomato sauce featuring red pepper, Kalamata Olives and Capers. Spicy Calabrian Chicken Wings w/ Gorgonzola Cream Ranch sauce. Fried Chicken Wings tossed in Italian style red pepper sauce. Not overly spicy but crispy and good flavor. Roasted Tomato Caprese Salad with Kale, Real Mozzarella Cheese Chunks, olives, Red Onion meant to top the normal salad mix. Good Stuff and Healthy too! Smashed Chicken Meatball Sandwich. Another item that pretty much dropped the ball. Kind of a hybrid Meatball Sub and Chicken Parmesan Sandwich with Foccacia Bread. Not much flavor and still left all of my table confused. Bucatini Pasta (think hollow spaghetti) with Spicy 3 Meat Sauce (Genoa Salami, Hard Salami and Sausage) and Sausage Meatballs. Good Ole Fashioned Italian Pasta Comfort food. Good flavor but nothing spectacular. Garlic Rosemary Chicken. The favorite entree item at our table. Marinated Grilled chicken breast with roasted garlic and rosemary served with Parmesan Mashed Potatoes and Spinach. Simple. Healthy with a whole lot of flavor. Chicken Abruzzi- The same Marinated, grilled chicken breast in a savory broth simmered with squash, cannellini beans, kale and vegetables. Mixed thoughts. Good flavor. Healthy. Kinda like a soup..kinda like a $18 entree. Not sure if I would personally order it but would recommend it over more traditional item to those wanting a healthy option with a warm comforting broth. Grilled Chicken Butternut Squash Alfredo Fettuccine. Amazing. Sweet. Savory. Think of am odd fusion between Traditional Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with Sweet Cinnamon and an almost Maple Syrup Flavor from the Red wine Demi Glaze. Very interesting but probably the least favorite at my table. Just too much flavor to think about eating more than a few bites. Definitely not something I could think about eating the entire entree. Pappardelle Pescatore. Shrimp. Scallops and Clams in a red pepper cream sauce with asparagus and tomatoes. Served over Pappardelle Pasta ( similar to fettuccine). Great balance between the seafood and a light sauce. This item paired perfectly with the Cavit Pinot Grigio. Lastly- Pumpkin Cheesecake. Chicago Style cheesecake topped with whipped cream, caramel and ginger cookie crumbles. I'm usually not one for sweets/ desserts but must admit this one is amazing. Large enough to share--with two other people. All in all I am impressed with the selections. I will definitely be returning to dine at olive Garden in the future.

My experience at this place was BIZARRE! First off, it is an Olive Garden. They have some pretty decent Italian food, but I would much rather patron a locally owned joint any day. I have come to this location a couple of times. The first time was great but the last time was cringe-worthy. My waitress was just plain uncomfortable. I think she was trying to be funny and likeable, but...well...she just wasn't. She kept on making jokes like, "if your food isn't right, I will go slice the chef's throat." WTF?! She also made an off comment when delivering our drinks that went something like, "when drinks are cloudy like that, they are probably roofied." Again, WTF?! Who says this? When my food arrived (I got the spicy shrimp vesuvio), the waitress waited until I took a bite. Like she stood there...and stared at me with a smile on her face until I took a bite then walked away. She didn't even ask how it was. And it wasn't that great. Most of my shrimp were still raw! When I told her about this, she mentioned beating the chef. I never got this resolved and I fear for the chef (joking...kind of...ok not really).

I don't usually rate things, but I'm beyond impressed. I feel like people usually go to Olive Garden for some decent and quick Italian food. But my most recent experience here was beyond that. I've never had such incredible customer service at a chain restaurant. Not only that but our food was delicious. Bravo!
(5)Devin G.
The service at this location is abysmal! I have been to this location three times, and I will not return again. The food quality is poor, they hold onto their dry, tastless, bread sticks like they are made of gold, and trying to get your server to return to your table requires moves reminiscent of jazzercise! Stay away from this location if you want a pleasant night out on the town.

So Olive Garden is Olive Garden. They aren't super fancy Italian food, but they are good, and I love their salad and bread sticks. I recently went to this location with my mother, step-father, and three year old nephew when they were passing through town. We were seated right away, and had the nicest server ever. Seriously! I wish I remembered his name, I would ask for him any time I went back. When he came to take our drink order I was trying to get a wine glass away from my nephew so he wouldn't break it. Of course my nephew wanted the fancy glass. I told him that we had to give those glasses to the server so he could take our order, I told him that was the way we ordered our drinks. Being three, he believed me, and the server even played into my little story. ;) My nephew is a picky eater, and doesn't like the Caesar dressing on the salad. Our server made him his own special salad with ranch dressing. No big deal right? Wrong. The server was so great that he picked out all the cabbage, for my little nephew, and didn't add any of the things he didn't like (such as onions) but added extra olives for him. Seriously, the guy went piece by piece to make sure there was no cabbage in the salad he made for my nephew. When we were ready to leave the server boxed up our extra food for us. He even boxed up the remainder of the large shared salad, and the extra bread sticks. I've never had an Olive Garden server do that before. And he gave us extra of those chocolate mints at the end. I just love those things! So for food, it's Olive Garden (which I really like), but for the service I give it five stars. I hope my step-father left our server a BIG tip! He certainly deserved it.
(5)Kelly H.
Service was wonderful ... On my way to the airport and the waitress was very accommodating. I have a gluten sensitivity and she checked a few items proactively for me. To top it off my meal was delicious. Also - we say in the bar area at a booth. No waiting!
(5)Caroline D.
The value you get at the Olive Garden is terrific. I can't think of another restaurant that gives you so much and has prices like the Olive Garden's. Last time I was there I took my cousin and she had a great time. We had soup and salad first and for main course we enjoyed a lasagna and Fetuccini Alfredo. We shared both dishes and they were very excellent. Indeed, I have never been a big fan of Fetuccini Alfredo, I always thought that it was a plain and bland dish but the one at the OG was excellent. For dessert we had an italian cake that I can't remember what it was called but it was delicious. Service was similar to the food, excellent. I have been coming to the Olive Garden for several years and I will continue to do so, at least until another restaurant offers me as much as the Olive Garden; nevertheless, I do not expect it to happen any time soon.

The bartender was fantastic. My husband ordered a very complicated White Russian, but with a latte instead of normal cream, so the bartender had quite a bit of work ahead of him. He had a great attitude and made the drink (which was fantastic) with a great attitude. We were sat sooner than expected and our servers worked as a team, so we were always attended too. Great experience.
(5)Paula A.
Love this place. I have been to them in different parts of the country and the food is always very good as is the service. I dine here quite often for the price, selection (cannot be beat) and service is always good.
(4)Tina G.
I love this place, it looks like it's in the mountains cuz of the trees and the snow, but its by the mall and the freeway. Our server Alex was fantastic, very attentive!!
(5)Tom A.
Service??? I think that is what they call it. So far they sat me down an everyone walks by just ignoring me. It is both comical and sad. They have not informed any of the servers they sat down a patron, and to top it off the servers just cruise by and ignore me. Not sure if this is normal for here bit but you may want to consider it before coming

HORRIBLE!!! This was the worst restaurant I have ever ate at and I haven't been to an other Olive Garden restaurant since. It was prom for the high schoolers and the restaurant was packed. So the wait time for an open table didn't bother us at all, but the wait time for our food to arrive was BULLS***T. Out waitress went M.I.A after she brought out the salad, we asked TWO different waiters about our meals. When the food finally arrived it looked DISGUSTING.One of my friends meal was lukewarm and my other friends just didn't like her meal. I ordered the braised beef tips, the juice ran over and covered everything else on the plate!! For whatever reason, there were 4 busted grape tomatoes surrounding it-Im guessing it was supposed to be a garnish??? I was like wft is this. We were starving by then and waited all that time so we decided to just eat. None of us finished our meals. The only positive thing I can say is the waitress noticed our plates were still full and called the manager over. He asked were we happy with our meals? None of us every experienced eating out like this before so neither of us wanted to be the one to say it was horrible. He knew we weren't satisfied with our experience that evening (we really had to catch the transit) so we just paid and never came back.
(1)Jennifer B.
I don't typically review chains but the service made me reach for the mouse and the keyboard to say a couple things. Let me say first that after a long work week a couple of us were dieing for some much needed drinks. Thank goodness for the alcohol (LOL). We walked in and the place was packed at 6 ish. When we gave our name they said only 20 mins so we waited (that's not too long). Wait for the surprise.... A waiter came and ask us if we wanted to be seated? My answer, well we just got here. He answered, so, I can seat you right now. Who I am to argue, I was wanting a buzz and some yummy food. He (DANIEL S) sat us immediately at a booth by the bar (No problem with that - closer to my drinks). Daniel had such a wonderful way about him and a great sense of humor that made dinner soo much fun. As we ordered the App, he even suggested a different option because what we had picked only gave us 3 and that wouldn't be fair since their were 4 of us. Good observation Daniel! We had a great time, fabulous pasta, service, atmosphere. And, although it wasn't super noticeable our second round of drinks took a while and we got them on the house. I love how Daniel put this, "I wish I could say she is new but she's not". Like I said a great sense of humor and so personable. Made the experience one of a kind for a chain restaurant. We will definitely go back for more and ask for him again.
(4)Tres B.
Me writing about chains is like Ronald Reagan writing about Socialism. Its a foreign subject I don't care for. But for a formulaic faux Italian schlock house, this one is pretty good. Fast friendly service. The "breasticks", air injected margarine dabbed monstrosities that every one loves left me tail spinning in a processed flour nightmare, but otherwise the fresh salad and mushroom stuffed ravioli were serviceable. This windswept location on the edges of Northfield is not too bad.
(3)Amy C.
How the hell am I the Duchess of this place? I think I've checked in three times in the past couple years. ANYWAY. Ample parking, small waiting area, lots of tables, hit and miss on the servers. Do I need to talk about the food? It's an Olive Garden! You know what you're getting. ;)
(4)Jeff M.
I am not one to post negative reviews without good reason, but myself being in retail and understanding the importance of customer service, I decided to do OG a favor and inform management of the weak link in their facility. We arrived on Saturday evening at 615 pm without a reservation. They were very busy and we had a party of 7. We decided to stand in the bar for the 1 hour wait until we could be seated. At an hour and 15 min we asked the manager if our table was close. 15 min later we were seated with a 1 drink comp for everybody due to the wait. 20 min later the server arrived for the drink order. We then waited another 20 min to receive the drinks and place the appetizer order. 2 of the 7 drinks were not close to what we ordered. 15 min later the appetizers arrived and took our dinner order. The food and the prices were good but our total visit lasted until after 9pm. over 3 hours for dinner??? This is not the first time this type of an issue has happened to me at OG, so I hope this message will help to improve a local business.
(1)Kelly B.
I arrived with my two children and husband on Saturday night. Immediately after we sat down, a waitress appeared and asked us what we wanted to drink. That is one of my biggest pet peeves. Give me a minute or two to get settled before you start asking me what I want, especially when I have kids that I have to read the menu to and tell them what they have available for them to drink so they can choose. Also, my husband had to step outside for a minute, which she saw, but didn't wait for him to come back before she came over to take our drink order. The waitress brought out our drinks, except for my daughters apple juice which for some reason took her over five minutes to deliver and when she did bring it, she gave it to my other child. Following that, she delivered us our breadsticks, which were so burnt they were more like toast. She brought us more that were not burnt, but it took her a very long time to do so. We also found it strange that the salad portion was so small. There was barely enough for two people; every other time we've had salad the bowl is full - this time, it looked like we got someone's leftovers. We ordered the smoked mozzarella, which arrived and looked and tasted perfect. My daughters ordered Fettucini and Fettucini with shrimp, along with a side of broccoli, all of which they enjoyed. But ... The waitress kept coming over asking if she could take some of our plates away. She'd start picking them up before we could even respond and my husband ended up yelling "No!" at her because she stuck her thumb in his salad dish - which he had wanted to continue eating (that is, until she placed her germ infested finger in it). She also delivered everything by hovering over our table - like reaching over our drinks, appetizers, etc., rather than standing off to the side like most decent servers do so as not to drop an armpit hair in your food! My husband and I both ordered stuffed chicken Marsala, which happens to be the only meal I eat at Olive Garden. We were thoroughly disappointed. Normally, the chicken and mashed potatoes have a good layer of sauce and mushrooms on top. My chicken had no sauce at all and barely a teaspoon on top of my potatoes. The stuffing was almost nonexistent and was so burnt that it looked like a flattened, browned and completely fried piece of nuclear-waste-cheese-patty. My husbands wasn't any better. The chicken was very dry and over cooked, also having been burnt. I was so disgusted and disappointed that I couldn't even finish my meal, nor did I want a box to take it home (I don't think my dog would have enjoyed it either). I also ordered a margarita, which tasted like the bottom of the glass had been filled with salt. Not good at all. It was an overall bad experience. However, we have come to this location several times and had never had any previous problems. I was so upset and dissatisfied by this experience that I told my husband I never wanted to come back! At the end of our meal, the manager came to speak with us and we let him know that we weren't happy with the food and so on. He was very friendly and apologetic, which we appreciated. We had spent about $75 on dinner and the manager ended up giving us a $50 gift card. Because my husband loves Olive Garden, we will be returning again and hope for a better experience. I'd rate this at 3.5 if I could, because previous experiences have been better and we appreciated the managers apology and friendly demeanor, and I will update my experience next time we dine there (which I hope will be a far better experience). I just recommend avoiding it for a late night Saturday dinner - for now.

Haha...Olive Garden. I really shouldn't knock it really. After seeing all of their commercials I was tempted to head here with my friend. So we did last night. Weird crowd at this location. Random people from all over but the experience wasn't tainted none the less. Our waiter was really nice, patient and recommended something for us. I got the Garlic Herb Chicken Con Broccoli. I actually really enjoyed it. My friend got an updated type of Lasagna. Boo, it wasn't too good. Tasted like something our of the frozen section at Safeway. Other than that the prices were pretty high. I thought it was reasonable but I could go to Pasquini's and spend the same for really good, homemade pasta and fixings.

Went here on a family get together. Service was the only thing that is worth coming back for. The tomato sauce is/was horrible and I couldn't finish my pasta. Really the sauce is THAT BAD. on a side note the salad is fresh and all you can eat. So fill up on salad!

I love Olive Garden's food, much to my husband's dismay. But when it comes down to it, Colorado is just NOT the place to go for Italian food! We've only had a few things that were great in Denver, and it's really a shame. The service is pretty standard except for a few waiters who have gone above and beyond. The food has never been bad and there's never been a ridiculous wait (once you're seated). So all in all, I will continue to go back until they give me a reason not to!

We have been here a few times, and each time received mediocre service. Shame on us, right? Well this last time though we had a gift card, otherwise we would have hesitated on returning. Now I am thinking that the gift card was not supposed to be of the nicest gesture! The service started out good, however, we waited waaay too long for our food, over an hour. While waiting we were discussing all the reasons why our food was taking so long - the server could have possibly entered our appetizers and forgotten to enter our entrees, or another server took some of our food by accident... At any rate, the food was just terrible, I could have made better at home. The potato encrusted chicken had no taste, and the pasta was cold and the edges had started to dry out. Furthermore, the food was ridiculously overpriced for the poor quality!! We did complain to the manager, while we were waiting and she just kept nodding her head and smiling and I am not sure she did anything to expedite our order. No compensation was given, not the slightest, and the fact that the food was terrible and overpriced I think if I ever receive another Olive Garden gift card I am going to sell it on Ebay!!

I'd never been to the Olive Garden before, any Olive Garden that is so I had no preconceived ideas other than it would be formulaic, boring, probably expensive for what you get with indifferent service and tacky surroundings. As I said, no preconceptions. However, the reality was quite different. I thought the ambiance was fine, the calamari a little chewy but acceptable and the mixed grill was excellent and the service brisk and efficient without being too pushy. Only reason I didn't sample the short but adequate wine menu is that I was driving. I will go again.

I love OG and eat here all the time. A few nights ago I was hungry and decided to get a quick bite alone. I was sat right away, the restaurant was busy but not packed by any means, it was a Wednesday. I sat there for quite awhile until a waiter finally came by and said " Let em see who's waiting on you" He then came back a few minutes later and said" I guess I will." My reply was "Sorry to trouble you" I guess because I was dinning alone I wasn't important? A customer should never have to apologize for coming to spend money! The rest of my service was horrible and it was obvious I was forgotten about. The breadsticks I was given didn't even have butter and seasoning on it. Literally just plain bread! How was that even passed out from the kitchen!? I ended up spending $25 on my entire meal and dessert, I hated that I was even spending that much money in a place that had such terrible service. I was very disappointed because OG has been a favorite of mine my entire life. I hope that this was an isolated occasion and not the direction the chain is going...

I'm only reviewing this Olive Garden because of the great service we had from a waiter named Casey. Actually, the the other workers were quite attentive as well. After receiving a complimentary tasting of the Moscato, both my uncle and I had a glass. (It was a sweet and sparkly dessert wine that was great cold.) A side of Alfredo sauce is always a must with the breadsticks. Here is the breakdown of what my family ordered: Parmesan Crusted Bistecca: ***** (Amazing!) Chianti Braised Shortribs: **** Capellini di Mare: ***** (Perfectly cooked seafood.) Capellini Pomodoro: *** (lacked flavor) And to top it off...those Andes are always good.

Eh, not much to say about a chain restaurant, however, I do love me some breadsticks and lasagna from here. We've come here a couple of times with a large party and of course had to wait over 30 min, but go figure - party of 10 = 30min - 1hr wait. No problem, we chat, people watch, and pass time. Anyhow, we always get seated in the "party room" or large semi-private dining room which is nice. There are always 2 servers that take hella good care of us and they are good at what they do. We never have a complaint even when we split the bill in 10 different ways (LOL). When it's just the 2 of us, service is still on point and we never have a problem. What more can I say?

I am typically not a HUGE fan of Olive Garden ... but my experience last night was GREAT!! The food was a little better than usual ... but are server (Gena T.) was fantastic. She was professional and fun. It was like we were dinning at a 5 star Restaurant (well...... ok .... not 5 star .... it was OLIVE GARDEN!) It was great. her recommendations were right on the mark and her smile never went away! Gena T. is in a unique group of servers ......... you know .... the friendly kind!! I would go back every night (if I was guaranteed her service.) Ask for her section next time you are in ..... you wont be disappointed! Thanks for a great meal. Keep up the great work .....

This was 30 seconds from being a one-star review. I go to an Olive Garden maybe twice a year, and only for one thing: the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks deal. Because I was nearby and hungry this afternoon, I stopped in here. After being seated at a table in the center of a room, I sat there completely unacknowledged for a full 10 minutes, even though there were servers and bussers all around me--the booths that encircled me were all full. Apparently no one was assigned to pick up my table or something. I don't know, but I was less than 30 seconds from getting up, giving the manager on duty a piece of mind and walking out. Just before that happened, the manager found me and asked whether I'd been helped yet. When I told him no, he personally took care of getting my food delivered, and did so very quickly. I have no complaints with my interactions with the manager, who was trying to make the best of a bad situation. I never did get a server--the manager became my server--so my water glass went dry for a few minutes a couple of times, but it wasn't a terrible situation. The food was solid, though the pasta e fagioli seemed a bit heavy on the pasta and beans and light on the beef. When I asked for the check, the manager told me the meal was on the house because of the problem, which I certainly appreciated. He also offered me a dessert, which I appreciated but declined, and provided me a to-go cup of water (that's what I'd been drinking). Overall, I was very impressed with the manager's job of damage control, though I'd far prefer to pay for my meal and experience good service. Just as I was leaving, another patron was complaining loudly to the manager about her table's service, so there might be some issues there, or perhaps it was just a problematic shift on that day. Despite the issues, I'd recommend this OG if someone asked, given the manager on duty's polite and helpful attempts to deal with the problems.

As part of a softball team and a party of 29, we were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and patience that Frank (GM), Carlos (manager), and the rest of the staff showed us. They had just seated 4 other large parties/teams but the staff worked hard to get us seated quickly and as close together as they could. Before we got seated, we had inquired if it would be faster to go to a different location. Frank and Carlos helped us out by providing the address and phone number for the closest location and even called ahead to see what the approximate wait was. It ended up being easier to stay. My experience with our waiter was very pleasant. I believe his name was David and he was very attentive to our table, even asking questions and talking with us for a bit when he could. When I spoke with the girls and families afterwards, they all had similar stories to tell about their waiters. I recall coming last year with a similar group size and getting a similar experience. Great staff, solid food, fantastic experience. Thank you guys!

Typical Olive Garden. Vegan tip: There are a couple basic pasta and tomato sauce dishes that are vegan friendly along with the Minestrone soup.
