I love this place. I have eaten there about once a week for 10 years. It has been a while and one of the things I miss most about leaving Colorado. I watched it grow from a modest little restaurant to the large place it is now. If you get a chance, you should try it! The restrooms were always pristine, 4 Flushes

Fast, Friendly, and Good Hot Food! We think it's one of the best next to Santiago's of course! :)

Found this place by accident, driving around one Sunday during lunchtime. I saw a crowded parking lot and and even more crowded 'additional' parking across the street. Lots of people eating at this place... so we couldn't want to come back at a slower time to try it out. The two 'better' times I found were early Sunday (Before the church crowd) like 11am.. and on a weekday night. Chips and salsa were good, nothing spectacular, but on different occasions we tried chili cheese fries, chicharrones (sp), steak burrito, tacos, and menudo. Each time we came, we did not leave much on our plates. They didn't have any miracle dish, everything just was equal in taste and flavor. Good, not great... but good enough to come back when feeling like Mexican food. Services was good, and the place is a decent size... outdoor eating as well.

I have been coming here for years and years. They have stayed tge same. Great favorable food. It has been a go to for me when I come back home. It's not as hot as New Mexican food but the flavor is solid. Mt only complaint is they don't refill the chips. One person or five you get the same amount of chips. Crazy. Also no drink refills.

I've been here numerous times even before I moved to Denver several years back. THis is like our go to spot after playing paint ball with friends and it really does replenish our nutrients from all the excitement of shooting the Hell outta people..hahaha Love it!. So Every now and then We'll come here on our own for dinner if we're driving home and spur of the moment thing. I never actually use to like this place too much, especially compared to others I've ate at such as Los Arcos and a few downtown. This place however has somewhat grown on me, aside from the fact they don't have hot chocolate and the hot tea you order is like a cheap packaged one. Again I must remember to actually bring in my tea I keep in the car. :-) So we always get a guacamole salad with out chips/salsa.- It's okay, I always need to add some salt though and the salsa is not spicey, so it's good on days I don't wanna sweat. I like their Combo fajitas that I had for the first itme last night, usually I get taco, chimichanga, well pretty much everything else. Overall the food pretty good, not the Best I've had, nor the best in town, but it can be satisfying and tasty especially when you're craving any kind of Mexican food and don't feel like driving around, or the hubby won't settle for Taco Bell..lol I'm a fast food junkie what can I say, it's ghetto mexican to me and hey, I like! :-)

Yum! Great food, nice atmosphere - even a spacious outdoor eating area. Service is quick, and very efficient. Green Chile isn't hot, but very flavorful, I've never ordered anything that hasn't tasted great!

I have been eating here for years. It has always been consistently "delicias". In my opinion, many a good restaurant has failed due to lack of consistency. The service here is always friendly and efficient. Some menu items that I can suggest are the Carne Adobada, the Tacos Al Carbon, and the Steak Ranchero.

Haven't been here in years because the last time was disappointing. Very good this time. The food was excellent and service was top notch. Will be returning again soon.

They always have bad service! The waitress brings us our food... She only came back to bring the bill... Their Mexican hamburger was undercooked, the meat was red. They don't give you enough food for what they charge... This isn't a good Mexican restaurant to go to!!!!

Food is great, especially chicharrones burrito. Host was horribly rude at the front but the food overshadowed his poor attitude.
(4)
Melissa H.
It was pretty good hubby had the carnitas and raved, I had the rellenos burrito can't go wrong with crispyness (word?) stuffed with cheese wrapped in frijoles yummy ! We will be back when we are on this side of town...did I mention that we sat down and had our food out in record time?

I have been going to their restaurants for years but the one on Conifer is the best! They are working on the patio now so it will be even better. Lots of parking here and plenty of different areas to sit. My favorite is Taquitos al Carbon and I order them almost every time. They seem to be getting better and lots of avocado now. Its messy to eat but worth it - just ask for more napkins! Always great service here and the food comes out hot and fast. The sopapillas are a must and they come out hot and sugary. Lots of honey makes you feel like you are in Mexican Heaven! Hope the menu never changes.

This is cheao mex food. Had a weird taste to my burrito and didn't get the sour cream that I wanted on my meal. They give you LOTS of chips and salsa, but I would have rather had real food.Parking was awful had to circle the parking lot many many times just when I was about to leave and go somewhere else, the got a spot to park. This place is not good enough for me to go back.

Not a bad place. Kind of the Denny's of Mexican food. Drinks and imported beers are reasonably priced.

Chile Relleno Burrito to die for. I had a few mild experiences here, then I found the CRB. Don't miss it.

Out of all the Mexican food I have in had in my entire life, Lassy D has been the place that compare every Mexican dive joint to. I have been here easily over a hundred time growing up. I started out very young with just tacos, soon I made it to a chicken burrito with lettuce and cheese only. Now and forever with I stay at 3 chicken burritos, smothered with lettuce and cheese. The smothering on the burrito puts it in a different category of delicious, and the way the shredded chicken comes, it so tender and spicy. This is by far my favorite Mexican joint, no fancy stuff (they way I like it). I cant wait to go visit and take back a pint of green chili.MMMMMmmmmm
(5)
Alex S.
The food was great. The menu is really weird though. So much to choose from and the combinations are not typical. Most entrees served with beans and avocado slices--- no rice. The portions are what they should be, but small compared to others. Price was not bad. Service was good. It was very clean and inviting. Plenty of parking across the street.

14 years strong and still going to this place :) Even though there are several Las Delicias restaurants in the metro area this location is by far the best. They make you feel at home and the food is lightening fast. Anything on the menu is great! The staff and service is usually friendly and awesome, but I would not recommended getting Ivera, there are some words I could say but to put it simple she was rather rude and inattentive. Other than that the meal was awesome, and I need to put in that all the other servers are very friendly and family-like . :)

Good food and fast service! I eat here regularly for lunch with co-workers and it is always a good experience. The smothered burritos are a good deal and anything carnitas is awesome. Staff is super nice and is an added plus to this place.

Great Mexican food, never fails to disappoint! The customer attention is great, and the service is super fast! It's such a fun atmosphere. Favorite Mexican restaurant by far!

Service was fast and polite. Great experience. Wished there was queso dip on the menu. Tons of chicken in their fajitas. Definitely get the corn tortillas. Brought them home to make leftovers. Tamales to die for. You can really tell the home made flavor. Also got a cheese enchilada, delicious as well. Lucy was so great. They do need to have larger sides if you are getting the fajitas for two. Charging .35 cents for more lettuce was a joke for a pinch of lettuce. Margaritas had real strawberries in them. Great place, sooo busy but get you in and out quick.

The number 39 crispy is my all time favorite. I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years and you always know exactly what you're going to hear super consistent fast at lunch really really great

This is definitely in the top 5 of Mexican restaurants up North! This place is always busy no matter what time you go. Pretty good prices for what you get. Good green chili. Margaritas are big and good! Overall a good spot!

Khampha K.
I don't know why I keep coming back here. The food is kinda gross but I guess anything is edible if you smother it with green chili. I had the enchiladas and I was not impressed. In fact, I was down right disappointed. Left with a sad face.

I personally don't care for the food that much but the service is wonderful and I really enjoyed the horchata

I left a previous review for this place. Well in the last 9 months or so the food here has gone waaay down hill. The green chili has become bland and flavorless, with a runnier texture. The tortilla shells more often than not, have been stale. Recently we ordered a taco kit and didn't receive half of the ingredients. We used to love ordering from this place when we didn't feel like cooking dinner at home, but I think we will be taking our business elsewhere for the time being.
(2)
Matthew H.
I love you Las D!!! I haven't had a bad meal or bad service here. They pack them in for lunch and run you through so darned fast at really cheap prices. I could take longer at Chipotle or QDobas than here. Here I get way more food. I think we've had a full sit down meal complete in fifteen minutes. It isn't high end, no mariachi, but don't need it. Don't change D, keep kicking butt! (Oh, and your green chili won my regional personal contest between you, Tamale Kitchen, and La Loma)

I hope everyone knows all this food is frozen and microwaved. Not at all Mexican food, text mex food or other wise just scrappy microwaved food

My family and I have been coming here over 20 years. This place has always been my favorite Mexican restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the food has always been very delicious and consistent. I normally get the #37 3 smothered burritos with chicharrones. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get out with friends or family for lunch or dinner. 5 stars for sure.

I am very let down with my last visit. I'm surprised because I usually have a good experience. The waitress was attentive, everyone was polite, never waited for refills really no problem with the service aspect. However, I ordered my crispy chili rellenos, extra green chili and it was disappointing. My "chili" was just odd, it had a weird color and tasted bland. The beans and rice were just o-k nothing outstanding or memorable.I will most likely not return. I'm sad to see this place go down hill.. seems that there's a string of restaurants going down a similar path.

I'm really picky when it comes to mexican food, and this place really did it for me. The four stars is on food and service alone, as the margarita is not worth mentioning... I had the chicken fajitas, and they were perfectly cooked, very nicely seasoned, and weren't drenched in grease like most other mexican joints. This is my number one pet peeve with fajitas, and Las Delicias did them wonderfully- hardly any grease, and absolutely delicious!!!

what has happened to this once favorite lil spot of mine... Its not to often you get green chili that don't really taste like anything but flour or starchy but when I do its a instant deal breaker and the relationship is off. My steak was overcooked that came in my burrito and the margarita was so weak that the person drinking it (who can't have a few sips of beer with out turning red and getting a buzz) was more worried about the sugar from the sweet and sour mix giving her a cavity then the actual alcohol impairing her judgement. now for the service we walked in to be told it would be a few minutes before we could be sat, I said "okay" with a puzzled look as I saw several empty seats. Once set we waited awhile for water and because I ordered a sweet and sour with a splash of tequila I did not get a water. (house rule I'd imagine) so I asked for a soda that set at the edge of the bar until the ice watered it down some. after a few more minutes of waiting we were able to order. audios my firend....

Okay, this is tex-mex not traditional Mexican. Now that, that is out of the way. Green chili is good, good flavor and great over the burritos. Pollo Asada is wonderful and love their fajitas. We like to get the fajitas for two. They bring you complementary chips and salsa, the service is good, the restaurant is clean. Never had a horrible experience. Not five because it isn't the best tex-mex... But I love coming here, so warrants the four.

Chip at the bottom of my chip basket had old salsa on it. Water tasted like Denver city water. Waiter was in a hurry for us to eat and leave. Adios

If you read my reviews, you probably notice I like Mexican food, and this place is one of the good ones. We have been eating here since the building was across the street in the parking lot, seems like 20 years or so. The food is always Delicias (pun intended). I have yet to have anything I don't like, but the smothered burritos and the care Asada stand out for me. Many of the staff have been there for years, they all provide fast service with a smile. I will say since they have grown, the place is ALWAYS busy. Lunches and dinner expect a wait to be seated. They do offer carry out and it has always been ready to go on time, every time we have ordered. The service has declined a little bit since they have gotten so busy, but it's still 3-4 start service. ( As opposed to the 4-5 star they used to have) The restaurant is always clean, and should you find a mess in the restroom, letting a staff member know gets quick results. They have a full bar and make great margaritas.

We went here off of a recommendation, that this was the person's "favorite" Mexican food place. While the service was GREAT and very speedy, we found the food to be good but nothing special. I had the cheese enchiladas and my husband had some form of pork burrito. He really didn't like the burrito as they did something odd with the pork, though it could have just been because he tried something new that night. The cheese enchiladas were good!

Andy T.
Had two wonderful meals. Coming from So. Cal. I know Mex food and this is excellent with its own local CO/NM flavor. I highly recommended. I taste something new like the fried chile relleno and the sopapillas. Carnitas "michoacan" style were very good. Service was friendly and timely.

The group that I ate lunch with ordered a variety of items off the menu; chicken chimichanga, menudo, enchiladas, and carnitas. Everyone at the table was pleased with their choices. The tortilla chips were crispy and thick and the salsa/hot sauce was thin and slightly spicy. There's a variety of choices for every palate. The portions are ample. My husband and I shared a meal and we were both full. The place was crowded when we were there so I don't think this is a secret. Give it a try.

This is one of my top restaurants. This location in particular is on top of their game. The food comes out fast and hot, the service is always great and I have never had a bad time or bad meal there. In 2009, when I graduated from college, I had my party there, and they were very good at accommodating my party of 30. We called the night before to let them know, and then an hour before we would be arriving we called again just as a warning that a large party would be there shortly. The party was at 2pm, had enough room to walk around and visit., and were out of there by no later than 4pm. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

Excellent service and food. The tacos de carnitas were very tasty as was the shrimp and chorizo appetizer.

Just mediocre food and margaritas. Service is pretty good and always fast even when they get really busy.

Chile Verde: recommendable. Asked for sauteed veggies instead of tortillas, for which they gladly obliged. Service: top notch. Tremendous lunch crowd. Definitely a locals' favorite.

Another great meal. Great service. We have been going here for over 15 years The green chili is not hot but it has great flavor. The drinks are a little weak but have a good flavor. This is not a place for vegetarian da it's a Mexican resturant not a tofu resturant. They have two parking lots across the street you just have to look were eveyone is parking it is not that hard. Some pepole will complain about everything.

We went for dinner last Sunday night. Except for the screaming kid a few tables over, I would be a marginal fan. Its a very "blue collar" atmosphere about the restaurant. Decent food, lots of TV's where we sat (at leave 4), and reasonable price. Except for the Idiot mother kept grabbing the toddler to tell them to "knock it off", kid would cry some more. Yes, she was a genuine "Einstein". Our waiter was marginal. Maybe 19 or 20 Yo male. Seemed like he would rather be somewhere else, he forgot our chip refill, but he did regularly check on us. Funny, he would stop in the middle of the floor and watch the game on the TV for a few minutes then continue his rounds. The waitresses I observed seemed to appreciate their jobs and were focused on waiting on people. Wish I had them waiting on my family, and the 20 year old maybe could had tossed the loud annoying family out. PEOPLE, NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR YOUR CRYING KID DURING DINNER. PACK UP AN LEAVE IF THEY ARE NOT UNDER CONTROL! It's called "Common Courtesy". I will be back, but next time, I'll request the East side of the restaurant. It seems they place families on the West side. My kids are well behaved enough to sit with the adults.

Las Delicias is not delicias. Unfortunately, despite what appears to be a lengthy menu, you must order the food the way it states it is prepared. There is no differentiating from menu before you. God forbid you end up being a vegetarian like myself - they have no bean options without LARD. Yuck! The best part about the resturant is the beautiful view of the Denver skyline from its patio. Unfortunately, even on the most beautiful afternoon, the patio was closed. I would steer clear of this place, if offers a lot and delivers very little.

I came here for lunch with a friend of mine. The service was nearly nonexistant and the food was not really cooked to my satisfaction. I would have sent it back had I gotten to see my waitress. I had the cheese enchiladas. Despite being on a hot plate, the cheese inside was not completely melted. That's the best part of cheese enchiladas. The price is what it is for a reason. I've had better. At least the chips and salsa were good.
(2)
John K.
GREAT salsa, amazing selection of unique dishes, great prices, and service is very fast and friendly. We're never disappointed when we go here. I don't always get their unique items, but I like that it's available when I'm not in the mood for the usual Mexican fare. I highly recommend Las Delicias.
(5)
L G.
I started coming here in 1980's. taco al carbon el michoacan was the exceptional dish back then (as well as the salsa) in the old building that was a modular structure. Fajitas weren't even popular in the states yet. I have heard it still serves consistently good food and will confirm on my next trip to Denver.

This place has great quality food, service and atmosphere. Just solid Tex-Mex comfort food and very reasonably priced.

No joke, this is the best Tex-Mex type Mexican food I have ever had anywhere in the US. Ever. OMG. The enchilada plate is huge and outstanding. The ranchero is perfect. The rice is perfect. The cheese is perfect. Ugh. And the chimichangas are incredible. Also huge with green chile sauce (their green chile sauce is the best thing ever). I want to drink it. The tortilla chips and salsa are also delicious, it goes without saying. The chips are fresh and the salsa is spicy, just as it should be. The bonus is that the food is dirt cheap. Thinking about this place depresses me because I cannot find this caliber of Mexican cuisine, or anything even tangentially related, in Boston. I wonder if I could get them to ship me some from Denver...hmmm... Las Delicias, please publish a cookbook so that I may have your delicious food whenever I want, wherever I live. Pretty please?!
(5)

This place has awesome Mexican food. I recommend combo #7. Portions are huge. Service is good. If you live in north Denver you definitely have to try this place!
(4)

We eat here all the time. The service is freaky fast, but the food doesn't taste like a frozen TV dinner. Two people can eat for less than $15.00 (without alcoholic beverages).
(5)
Lynn D.
I'm shocked that Las Delicias has only 1 review. I'm a 4th generation native of Denver, and this place is a Denver staple. If you come here during peak hours, all three of their parking lots will be full and you'll be waiting in the lobby. My friends and I have been coming to this location and the location in east Denver for years. Their service is top notch. The green chile isn't hot, but it's extremely flavorful. Come check it out; you won't be disappointed!

I have been searching desperately for a delicious mexican restaurant after moving to the denver area from california...Las Delicias is good, but not great. the service was good, the waiter kept my water filled which is always super appreciated. but the food was just ok. i'm still on the hunt! the place was pretty packed though, especially for how out-of-the-way it is. clearly a local favorite.

Great mexican food, although the green chile is not hot, it is good tasting. There service is friendly and fast. Atmosphere is clean and friendly.

Las Delicias is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the area. There are few mexican restaurants where I feel comfortable ordering any plate off the menu, typically I stick to my favorite because I won't be disappointed that way. Las Delicias however consistently has great food! The smothered chicken burritos (it's rare to find a restaurant that uses shredded chicken), chile rellanos, and flautas are some of my favorites. Add a pitcher of blue margaritas for the table and you can't go wrong! They also have a great patio (weather pending of coarse). The service not special by any means, but it is quick and the food is cheap. This is a great place to take a large group if you're picking up the tab!

I've been to a few Mexican restaurants in Denver, and as with most restaurants in Denver, was not too impressed. I would say that this place is not over the top impressive, but definitely the best Mexican / tex-mex place we've found in Denver. The atmosphere is very nice, a little bit upscale. The food is inexpensive for the quality you get. We had a good experience with the service and the food tasted good.

Sean R.
Always consistently fast, delicious, and friendly service. I've been eating here since the old building across the street, and I still look forward to going! The only downside I can think of is the green chili is a little tame, but they will add jalapeños if you ask.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

(1)Aaron M.
Not a bad place. Kind of the Denny's of Mexican food. Drinks and imported beers are reasonably priced.
(3)Casey C.
Chile Relleno Burrito to die for. I had a few mild experiences here, then I found the CRB. Don't miss it.
(5)Jori S.
(5)Alex S.

(4)Mere D.
Good food and fast service! I eat here regularly for lunch with co-workers and it is always a good experience. The smothered burritos are a good deal and anything carnitas is awesome. Staff is super nice and is an added plus to this place.
(4)Amaris T.
Great Mexican food, never fails to disappoint! The customer attention is great, and the service is super fast! It's such a fun atmosphere. Favorite Mexican restaurant by far!
(5)Kelcie S.
(4)Jess C.
Great management, friendly staff. Quickly sat most often and also food is served quickly. We are frequent visitors
(5)Ben C.
The number 39 crispy is my all time favorite. I have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years and you always know exactly what you're going to hear super consistent fast at lunch really really great
(4)Phil G.
This is definitely in the top 5 of Mexican restaurants up North! This place is always busy no matter what time you go. Pretty good prices for what you get. Good green chili. Margaritas are big and good! Overall a good spot!
(3)Khampha K.
I don't know why I keep coming back here. The food is kinda gross but I guess anything is edible if you smother it with green chili. I had the enchiladas and I was not impressed. In fact, I was down right disappointed. Left with a sad face.
(2)Moriah S.

(2)Matthew H.
(5)Yenny Y.
I hope everyone knows all this food is frozen and microwaved. Not at all Mexican food, text mex food or other wise just scrappy microwaved food
(1)Adrian L.
Awesome service, wonderful food, great prices. You cannot go wrong here. Take out is always on time, and piping hot.
(5)Ana H.
The food was delicious! I can in with a large party but still all our food was correct and the waitress was very friendly.
(5)Adrian A.
(5)Tina H.
I love this place - Fav Mexican restaurant in all of Denver! Been going for over 16 years. Fast friendly staff and the food is always hot and well, delicious!! I can always count on a great meal here..
(5)Maria M.
Hit or miss. One time it's fantastic!!, and the next it's stomach ache city!! But I still like it, and it's a fun place to go.
(3)Taylor G.
(2)Shannon C.

(2)Shannon D.
(4)Justin S.
Chip at the bottom of my chip basket had old salsa on it. Water tasted like Denver city water. Waiter was in a hurry for us to eat and leave. Adios
(1)Chris D.
(4)Trisha M.
(3)Andy T.
(5)Doko O.
Great service and prices. Lots of parking. An overall good place!
(3)Deana W.
(3)Kyla S.
(5)J D.
Excellent service and food. The tacos de carnitas were very tasty as was the shrimp and chorizo appetizer.
(4)Alexandra C.
Just mediocre food and margaritas. Service is pretty good and always fast even when they get really busy.
(3)Cielo G.
Chile Verde: recommendable. Asked for sauteed veggies instead of tortillas, for which they gladly obliged. Service: top notch. Tremendous lunch crowd. Definitely a locals' favorite.
(4)Greg B.
Best Mexican food around. Awesome service. Great atmosphere. Great prices. Horchata is a must. Try the number 7 combo.
(5)Rich O.

(3)Josh C.
(3)Ruben P.
(2)John K.
GREAT salsa, amazing selection of unique dishes, great prices, and service is very fast and friendly. We're never disappointed when we go here. I don't always get their unique items, but I like that it's available when I'm not in the mood for the usual Mexican fare. I highly recommend Las Delicias.
(5)L G.
I started coming here in 1980's. taco al carbon el michoacan was the exceptional dish back then (as well as the salsa) in the old building that was a modular structure. Fajitas weren't even popular in the states yet. I have heard it still serves consistently good food and will confirm on my next trip to Denver.
(4)James M.
This place has great quality food, service and atmosphere. Just solid Tex-Mex comfort food and very reasonably priced.
(4)Lea C.
(5)Sara S.
This place has awesome Mexican food. I recommend combo #7. Portions are huge. Service is good. If you live in north Denver you definitely have to try this place!
(4)Richard J.
We eat here all the time. The service is freaky fast, but the food doesn't taste like a frozen TV dinner. Two people can eat for less than $15.00 (without alcoholic beverages).
(5)Lynn D.
(5)Allison R.
(3)Troy M.
Great mexican food, although the green chile is not hot, it is good tasting. There service is friendly and fast. Atmosphere is clean and friendly.
(4)Marilyn J.
We used to love this place for many years. But the quality of the food has gone way down. Too bad. We won't be going back.
(2)Ashton D.
(4)Sean O.
(4)Sean R.
Always consistently fast, delicious, and friendly service. I've been eating here since the old building across the street, and I still look forward to going! The only downside I can think of is the green chili is a little tame, but they will add jalapeños if you ask.
