My wife and I came here for breakfast on Saturday. I ordered a ham, cheese, and egg sandwich on a croissant and a white chocolate mocha. My wife ordered the BLT with a blueberry muffin. The service was great, it's the food that wasn't very good. My sandwich had one piece of thin ham in it and the rest of the sandwich consisted of eggs. The croissant itself wasn't bad, but it was like eating an egg sandwich. The white mocha was quite disgusting. I ended up taking a sip and threw it away. My wife enjoyed the blueberry muffin, but I found it to be too soggy/mushy. She also said the bacon on the BLT was the most disgusting bacon she'd ever eaten. Two stars simply for customer service, but we won't be coming back.

Great service! Awesome reuben sandwich. And coffee (of course!).

We stopped here this morning mid bike ride with our son. Service took a little while and coffee took longer than food but it was all so yummy! Fab lattes, great smoothie and all our food was fresh and delicious. We had the sausage, egg bagel, breakfast burrito and the bacon and egg croissant. Really task food and super friendly :)

Crazy good food and I loved how relaxing the atmosphere was. I need to find out if they have wifi but the chai was delicious and we need to take home some green chili on it. Also get the wildberry smoothie, that was so good. I can definitely tell that the owner takes pride in his food from how he talks about his food.

We stopped by on a yelp rec after the Bubble Run 5K...cute little shop. I had the three cheese panini ... It was pretty good.

Just like other reviews. Very clean, very friendly. Food and drink prepared with care. Good quality. No religious music one other review mentioned. Comfortable nice atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Will definitely return. Excellent little spot.

Such a charming little shop. And the food is amazing. We were just driving around looking for lunch and yelp said this place was good, they did not lie. Perfect spot if you're looking for a chill environment and great food.

Such a cute, clean restaurant! Kind staff and delicious food. I will definitely return! Great selection of teas too!

I had to leave. The place was dirty (the kitchen was a disaster at 8am) and they only microwave eggs. (I don't do microwaved eggs.) Where did all of the great reviews come from?!?? I was looking forward to trying this place for a while and I was so disappointed when I got there. I felt bad leaving without buying anything so I got a latte. Gross! Had to throw it away after one sip. Oh well. Next!

My boyfriend and I wanted a quick breakfast before we started our day. We also didn't want to wait hours to be served so we decided to try this place out. Even Better Cafe is a cute little coffee shop with plenty of seatings inside and out. Makes for a great study spot because there are also couches and it is quiet which is a definite plus. We ended up ordering two croissant breakfast sandwiches (one with sausage and the other with turkey), I had an iced chai and my boyfriend had some sort of coffee. I not big on coffee so I am not sure what he actually ordered. The food came out fairly quick. It was nice and warm; the cheese was perfectly melted. We enjoyed it. However, my boyfriend wished that there were more slices of turkey other than the one slice. I didn't mind because that tends to be the case for croissant sandwiches. Moreover, I really enjoyed my chai. I wouldn't go as far and say it is the best chai I have ever had, but it is pretty darn close. They also have various sandwiches, paninis, and hamburgers as well. I will definitely come back for other items on their menu. Not only are their food satisfying, it is also really affordable.

Great quaint little cafe with the friendliest service. Can't wait to visit again next time I'm in Denver.

I just tried this pace for the first time, and it didn't disappoint. It's a great place to catch a tasty bite for not a lot of money. The food is very fresh and it shows that those running the place care about their business. I particularly liked how welcoming the place is as soon as you step in. Had we not been in a hurry to get to the airport, we would have easily settled in to hang out a while. I can't wait to try a coffee drink, as other customers looked to be enjoying theirs a lot. With the drive through, that makes catching a coffee really easy.

Finally tried this place today, and I will be a new regular! I ordered the California Club Croissant and it was delicious and the croissant was toasted and flaky and not at all soggy like some can be. The service was very friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. The man who took my order even made recommendations on what kind of iced tea would pair well with the specific sandwich I ordered and let me smell the different leaves before he brewed mine fresh. The patio was nice and shaded and was perfect for me since I walked there with my dog. They gave me a cup of water for her too. I can't wait to go back and try their breakfast menu and coffee drinks!

A quick stop for breakfast and coffee this morning started our day off right. My wife and I both had regular coffees and two breakfast croissant sandwiches. The regular coffee was very flavorful and had a great aroma and taste. The breakfast croissant sandwiches were a nice size & filled with egg and bacon. Nice, hot and flavorful, perfect light breakfast for an active morning. There was a bit of a mothball smell to the place which looks like it has been mentioned in another review. Not sure where it is coming from, but definitely noticeable, off putting to say the least when your expecting a strong coffee aroma. Everything else was perfect, would've been 5 stars had the smell not been present. Hopefully it's fixable & the very kind owner (or landlord??) will enjoy many years of profit and 5 star ratings. We shall return....

Well, hey there, local coffee shop and cafe not far from my house! I love all the local coffee house options around Denver, and am trying to work my way through them! But, since I work from home, I typically brew my own low acid, sugar free, soy latte every a.m. I ventured out of the house for a networking event early this morning and decided to check this place out...it's a gem! Of the groups of people who ventured in while I was there, the owner and the customers knew each others' names 3/4 times. THAT is great customer service. A personalized experience will keep your customers coming back! I was starving when I got there and asked if there were any gluten free options. The owner, Ed, said they could easily do gluten free breakfast sandwiches; so, I opted for the turkey breakfast sandwich on gluten free bread. It was warm, melty and tasty! If you opt for this option, just know that the sandwich is a little on the smaller side. The bagel probably has more oomph to it. I ordered a chai tea soy latte for my drink and it was sweet and spicy deliciousness. They serve their coffee hot, so don't try to guzzle it down right away (unless your taste buds are still burned and sensation-less from guzzling yesterday's lava java). Def would recommend checking this place out and supporting a local business!

Stopped off on the way home from work to wrap up a few tasks before I call it a day, decided to pop in and had such a nice experience ordering that I felt the need to drop a positive review. Not surprisingly, this shop is already rocking a 4.5 star rating. The older gentleman behind the counter (I assume he's the owner) was incredibly pleasant, one of the nicest smiles around. The prices here are great, definitely cheaper than the average coffee spot. Ordered the iced chai latte, nothing to write home abut but im enjoying it. Also, a few reviews below talked about a moth ball smell. Whatever it was, they must have taken care of it. Smelled clean when I walked in. I'll be back soon, im sure.

Quick and friendly service! This place is kind of in a terrible location in a weird shopping center, but it's convenient with its drive through, and it's quick in the morning. Fresh made sandwiches, egg and cheese on an English muffin is my favorite, that are huge and delicious. Coffee is fresh and delicious, and so are the smoothies. Perfect grab and go breakfast spot, love it! Check it out!!!

I'm so thrilled to see that others are also really enjoy this cafe! It's owned and operated by a man named Ed; he is such a sweet heart. They have very tasty breakfast items like breakfast burritos (try the green chile- you will not be disappointed!), breakfast sandwiches on bagels, croissants, or English muffins. They also have other morning treats like muffins. I've had a chicken caeser salad for lunch here. The salad was fresh and crisp and they grilled the chicken for me on the spot. All of their food items are made to order. Now for the drinks- I enjoy a vanilla or hazelnut latte here between 2-4 times a week. The lattes are always perfectly balanced-- the coffee is not overwhelmed by the sweetness of the flavored syrup. Ed is very meticulous in all of his work, so do expect at least a 5 minute wait for your order. They have a drive thru option, but again, expect a bit of a wait- I promise it's worth the wait!

The reviews are misleading. It's not awful, but the coffee is mediocre and the breakfast sandwiches are just okay. The worst part is the pungent smell of moth balls inside. Only tolerable if you sit outside on the patio.
(2)John M.
All the drinks are wonderful, the owner is really friendly and is usually the only one working. It's quiet on the inside and has really pretty artwork on the wall. My boyfriend loves most of the tea flavors (there's a lot to choose from) and I like the cinnamon dirty chai. There's always a lot of different food items in the front like sandwiches, bagels, salads, and pastries. Overall, it's one of my favorite coffee shops.

wow! even better cafe is even better than the reviews!! I wasn't on my side of town today and my mom and I needed some lunch. I looked to yelp to help orient me and see if I couldn't find a decent lunch place in the area. even better cafe had a handful of great reviews so we headed there to check it out. once I saw the breakfast menu I was drooling but this was lunch time people! anyway... I ordered the 'California croissant' and MAN WAS IT GOOD. no wait, it was perfect. I thought to myself, "this is the best sandwich you've had in a long time" and on my way out I thanked the owner who was right there in the cafe taking orders (l love that!) but then after getting home I started to really think about when the last time I had a sandwich that good was and I realized... it was never. I've never had a sandwich that good. so today, at even better cafe I had the best sandwich OF MY LIFE. pair that with great friendly service and a local owner and I am beyond pleased! thanks guys!! I'll be back :)

Stopped in for coffee today instead of driving to Starbucks. The coffee was strong and delicious!

Stopped in over the weekend for a quick lunch while out running errands with the family. The gentleman behind the counter was not exceptionally polite and knowledgeable, but he took the time to make us some amazing food. My wife had the three cheese panini and loved it, I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken Caesar wrap and some lemon safari tea. The interior decorating is wonderful and the environment is something money can't buy. I personally look forward to bringing clients here for lunch meetings in the future now that we live in the area. Thank you for an excellent lunch and an even better experience!

Love this place! Super friendly staff and great food! I love the California croissant and it's also good as a wrap! Much better choice here than compared to subway (which is two doors down).

Finally stopped in to this little cafe I pass on my way to work every day. Glad I did! The prices are great! They have brewed and pour over coffee available, along with a variety of green and black teas, and all the espresso drinks you'd expect from a coffee shop. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and was excited they don't charge extra for a croissant instead of a bagel. Egg, sausage, and cheese on a croissant. Basic and delicious. They also have breakfast burritos which I'll be returning to sample. The staff is friendly and just wonderful. I'll definitely be back here.

Great little local spot. Excellent, quick and friendly service. Food (panini and croissant sandwiches) was delicious. The ingredients were fresh! The coffee exceeded my expectations. There is a good sized patio, a drive thru and the location is just off Cherry Creek trail. Great bike ride destination. Will definitely be back!!

Had a delicious mud chai latte and a rich and tasty smoothie. Ed prepared the drinks meticulously. Great value and ample seating.

Even Better Cafe is appropriately named. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the service is comfortably warm and friendly. The menu includes various coffee and tea options, smoothies and some grab and go juices. Also breakfast sandwiches served on croissants and bagels. There are gluten free and vegetarian options. My sandwich was a freshly made egg, cheese and sausage on a croissant served an a pretty plate accompanied by a perfectly spiced chai latte. The food was freshly prepared and melt in my mouth delicious. There is also a nice selection of lunch options including sandwiches and salads as well as several really good snacks and sweets. The prices are very reasonable, the cafe is squeaky clean. Supporting a locally owned small business is always a good choice. I am happy to have found this little gem right in my neighborhood and plan to visit often. Thank you Yelpers for leading me here!

The reason I had to give 5 stars is because Ed and the others are amazing! Ed remembered what tea I liked from the last time I came in and has so many options. He is great at suggesting food and drinks. (He is the one who paired my tea and burger. I honestly can't believe how wonderfully friendly they are. The food is good for the price point. I would much rather visit here than some chain like Subway (which is in the same strip mall).
(5)Raquel M.
