Please note - this review is for the newly opened store at south Colorado Blvd and just north of Mississippi (next to Potbelly Sandwiches). I stopped by on Wednesday morning around 8:40am. Place wasn't that busy but had 3 or so people waiting for their orders. There were at least 5-6 staff behind the counter doing various duties however no on was at the cash register/place order area. So I stood there and I stood there. It was apparent some staff were working on a larger catering lunch order. I still stood there. I could tell a fitness lady was getting impatient for the single bagel/breakfast bagel she ordered to go but she finally got it. Finally after about 7 minutes of me standing there without even a hello from one of the 5-6 women behind the counter I left. Wow - for a brand new store - your customer service sucks. To the strawberry blonde/reddish/brunette bob hair cut lady who appeared to be the manager - you should try smiling sometime. That angry smirk on your face is going to give you permanent wrinkles

I stopped by on a Sunday morning to fulfill a lox bagel craving. The staff were super friendly and fast, and my bagel was tasty and fresh. It seemed fairly calm and had a nice chill vibe as I woke up slowly to my digesting iced coffee.

While I usually don't think of bagels for breakfast, I got it in my head over the weekend that I was definitely going to check out Einstein Bros Bagels. I've had them many times thanks to generous coworkers and, strangely enough, had a EBB gift card burning a hole in my wallet. So, when James F and I were in need of a quick breakfast yesterday, I finally got my wish! We both just snagged a regular blueberry bagel with schmear and a cup of chai tea for me. It all came to under $10, not too bad! While the chai was a-ok, the bagels were a really tasty treat. While Einstein's isn't my first choice for breakfast, I really enjoyed the feel and atmosphere of this place: laid back and relaxed. I loved all of the choices, from sweet to savory, and the small hot beverage menu. Definitely a cool little chain with tasty bites. I dig it.

Einsteins always has great bagels. Today, I got bagels to go and after asking for one double toasted, it came back burnt. When we got back there, the store was crowded, but Kira made sure we were taken care of! We got a replacement bagel without hesitation, as well as a coupon for a free bagel next time we come in. Thanks for looking out!!

Came at a really busy time after my appt but found parking right away. About 5 people in line to order and pay and only two people behind the counter but boy oh boy, Bryan and Irina stepped up to the plate and I would say within less than ten minutes everybody got their order and were able to pay right away. They stayed professional and friendly!! Kudos to them. My bagel and schmear was delicious!

I stopped here on my way to City Park to get a coffee and get a bagel. I was hoping to be quick about my order, but this location was pretty disorganized. I arrived at 7 am and I don't believe that they'd just opened. However, I feel that EBB's order here/pickup here in two different areas can be inefficient, especially at this location. When you walk in, there is a cash register in front of the doors, but that is the pickup/pay section. I stood there for a few moments, was acknowledged and told that the person would be with me shortly. After finishing up another person's order, she then ran to the other register, halfway around the store and motioned for me to arrive there to order. Ugh. Ok, so I don't have much patience and I was in a hurry. After ordering, then I had to walk to the other register to pay with the same person. How is this efficient? It seems like the person helping me just got a lot of cardio running around. And it took forever to get a toasted bagel with cream cheese and there weren't very many people in the store. I was just a bit disgusted with it all. Overall the quality of bagel and coffee were fine, but I was really put off by the disorganization of this store.

I remained perplexed about the average Denverites interest in Dunkin Dounuts. I lived in Connecticut for over 3-years. During that time I did Dunkin for only one thing (coffee). I hated their breakfast stuff, their donuts were made in some factory (dry/etc). . and their bagels. .the same That entire time I wished for a Einstein Bros Bagel. Einstein had awesome egg breakfast sandwiches, great coffee (their hazelnut is the only flavored coffee I can stomach In Connecticut, you can't find a decent donuts (especially vanilla creme). The mediocrity of Dunk is everywhere. No little shop even tries. So I love Denver. . I love their Einstein for their better coffee/bagels. . and I love my donuts shop. I for one pray that Dunkins don't gain a foothold in Denver, for my Einstein's sake.

I have been to Einsteins more times than I can count - particularly because it's only a few blocks from where I live. I have never had a negative experience here. While they can be quite busy, they always seem to be adequately staffed for that. People have mentioned that the service is slow but since they are literally making each sandwich when it's ordered and they aren't working in a huge kitchen I don't think its reasonable to expect it to be lightning fast especially on a weekend. I mean, come on people, its on Colorado Blvd! My orders have always been correct and the food always good. The place is quite clean for the amount of traffic and the staff always friendly. I mean, it's a fast-casual restaurant so I really can't ask for more.

9th and Colorado - This place is the worst. Their prices don't make sense, the sandwiches are fast food and their customer service is terrible. I used to grab a bite from here a lot for a quick lunch during the week. Fast + cheap = work lunch. I've had quite a few unpleasant experiences here, but never really cared to express an opinion. Today's customer service, however, really made me feel like I was mistreated and ripped off. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. The person taking my ordered asked if I wanted a fountain drink with it. I said "No thanks, I'm going to get a bottle of iced tea instead". He said it was the "same thing". My name is called to pay. The cashier sees my bottle of iced tea and adds it to my total along with the fountain drink. I tell her I only wanted the iced tea and that the person who took my order told me it was the "same thing". She tells me it's cheaper to buy it with the fountain drink. I chuckle and say "Really? Well, that's kind of silly" and hand her my credit card. She starts yelling for the manager to come over. The manager is in the middle of a sentence with someone else. After waiting for maybe only 10 seconds the cashier gets extremely agitated and remarks to me how "this is why we need more than one manager". (I was the only customer in line.. I think he can handle it..) After her remark I say, "No worries, just ring it up how it is". She refuses and looks like I just insulted her mother. The manager comes over and the cashier demands that he removes the fountain drink. He obliges and removes the fountain drink with a giggle and an s-eating grin. My total is now more expensive after removing an item from my order. I try to protest, but my card is swiped, the manager and cashier exchange an inside joke and I'm cut off with "have a nice day". I did not receive the chips that were supposed to come with my order. I'll never return here again and I recommend checking out Heidi's right next door or All V's down the street instead. Don't waste your time and money on a place that doesn't care about their customers or the quality of their food.

Bagels are consistent from store to store which I like. Service was just A-OK though at this store. Nothing worth running around town bragging about. I did like the patio outside though. Has good shading. They had water out for pets which was great. If I'm in the area and Snooze is full I'd come back.

  • Clare S.

The staff is hard-working here and I have never had a negative experience, except today. As I would typically give a 5-star rating, one individual was far from shining. Dear Stephanie, Instead of huntching over the register and yelling snarky and rude comments to your co-workers, "Are you drowning over there?" and, "Read the screen, there are no mistakes when I'm taking orders" Try positively motivating them, or back yourself up and help them when they are in the weeds. Guests were uncomfortable and clearly aggravated at the way you were treating your co-workers. And by the way, my order was wrong, shocker right!?

4 stars! LTO bagel with lox spread was boooomb! SO good, so delicious, hit the spot. Green chili and cheddar bagel worked perfectly with the lox spread. YUMS

I stop here to pick up breakfast every once in a while on my way to work. The Einstein brothers don't have anything on any bagel place In Brooklyn, but they're consistently decent. The espresso drinks are good, too. This location is confusing because you order coffee and bagels from different lines, but can order coffee from the bagel line. Despite the confusion, I'm always out the door in less than five minutes with susbsistence and legal addictive stimulant in hand. That's worth three stars.

I was very disappointed with my past few experiences at this location. I used to stop by here almost every morning on my way to work, and I LOVE the food. However the past few times they have been extremely disorganized and caused quite a bit of frustration. I went in a few days ago and it was chaos. Initially I felt bad for the staff because they were slammed and people were getting very frustrated. However, the longer I witnessed the chaos, the less sympathy I felt. I ordered a bagel sandwich and was told their boards are really old so not to go off them. I ended up just ordering a simple egg on a bagel and caramel macchiato. The drink came out very quickly, but was a mocha rather than a macchiato. I didn't ask them to make me a new one because I knew how busy they were. Then I watched as nearly every order was produced incorrectly or under the wrong name. I waited 30 minutes for my bagel, and didn't even end up with what I ordered. I would have just left without my food, but they were not able to print receipts so I knew I would not be able to get my money back. I was there for a total of 45 MINUTES, and didn't even leave with what I ordered. Such a waste of time and money. Unfortunately, I will not be going back to this location :(

On Saturdays or Sundays when I wake up and have no plans for meeting friends for brunch, I strap the pup up in his leash and we head the block and a half down the street to pick up a sesame bagel, toasted with strawberry cream cheese. The problem is, everyone else has the same idea as me and this Einstein Bros. is not very big. It gets very hot and sometimes the line stretches past the entrance door. They do their best to keep things moving efficiently, but sometimes there is just mass chaos. Once I get my bagel, I either head home or eat outside as they have a very large patio area. But since my dog is waiting outside and it is extremely uncomfortable inside during the weekends, I never eat in the restaurant.

I have loved, still love and continue to love Einstein Brothers everything bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese. That's it. I love it. But, there is more to this location that my love for the toasted everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. Parking can be a bitch at the busy hours of the day, mostly in the morning. The weekend, everyone has the same idea as you do, it's busy. All of this doesn't matter when I want my toasted everything bagel with veggie cream cheese.

You've got to f**king kidding me! I ordered a plain bagel with butter (toasted) for my daughter and a plain egg and cheese bagel for my vegetarian self. They brought me out an egg, cheese and BACON bagel. This wasn't the problem for she could easily fix my sandwich. I politely stated that I am a vegetarian and don't eat meat. They took the sandwich back, and as I watched, took the bacon off and gave me the sandwich back! What!!! I caused a scene in the place! The manager had the nerve to be like "What do want me to do, refund your money, yell at her, make you a new sandwich?"! Really?! I said "I want you to do your job and do what is needed to ensure this doesn't happen again!". Completely against health code regulations. I should report this porkshit place! They refunded ALL my money! Rat bastards... Vegetarians not welcome.

I am a big fan of bagels and especially Einstein's. I felt very lucky to have one within blocks of my house, which to my dismay isn't all that great. Don't get me wrong, the food is great as always but the service was much like high school students with after school jobs. They were not very attentive and I had to repeat my order a few times. I plan on giving them a try again, but hopefully the service will improve.

I don't think I could possibly eat and pay for bagels anywhere else other than Einsteins. On Saturday mornings you'll see business people, doctors, and lawyers come in here after their morning run or jog. I don't exactly know how good bagels are for you, but they can't be too bad if its attracting healthy looking people to come. My personal favorite thing to get is the dozen bagels special because I love the cranberry and blueberry bagels with the plain creme cheese shmear. So try it out and good look finding parking.

I really don't like to write bad reviews but I feel I must. First I will start with Einstein Bagels as a company; The bagels are ok at best. I would call it the McDonalds of Bagels which is clearly what they are trying to be. I admit that I have lived in NYC the last 10 years ...if there was an Einsteins there they would go out of business in a week. The prices at Einsteins are about 3x the price for 1/4th the quality of what you get in nyc. I would much rather get bagels from The Bagel Store and make my own sandwich at home for 1/10th the price. Next the service at this particular location is bad. I ordered a bagel with cheese, eggs and asparagus. The bagel came with some sort of tomato paste that looked and tasted like ranch dressing. I went to take it back and the lady behind the register (which i think was the manager), acted like I was a complete idiot for not knowing that this came on the sandwich. If you order a bagel with specific ingredients, why would a bunch of tomato sauce come on it? Worse of all, the next time I came in, the lady remembered me like she has been thinking about it for weeks and was still rude. Overall there is a bad vibe behind the counter and the line is too slow. I will not be going back. Let me say that I am a good customer at restaurants, I tip for every transaction and have almost never have had a bad customer service experience in my life. I encourage the people of Denver to get off the Einstein bagel kick who treat it like a celebrated local chain. I am know we can do better.

I could eat bagels everyday, and admit, even twice a day!! I love a fresh bagel and cream cheese. We go to Einsteins a lot, it's consistent. I love going on a warm day and sitting outside. They have a great patio that is shared with the Starbucks next door. The food has always been good here. I have a very difficult time deciding what I want. My husband always gets the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on asioago. I tend to go for the chopped onion bagel with lox. I've had the breakfast wraps which are great too. What I love about Einsteins is that they have turkey sausage. I wish more places offered that on the menu! Some day I want to try a sandwhich here, they look so good, but I'm a breakfast lover and never seem to stray.

Einstein Bros. have good food but the store on Colorado Blvd. is engaging in blatant false advertising. They're selling plastic cups of orange juice with a sticker on the lid that says "100% Pure Squeezed Orange Juice". However, if you look at the ingredients on the back it says "Water, 100% orange juice from concentrate". I don't know how they're getting away with this. It's an obvious, under-handed scam. The way they package the juice even looks exactly like the fresh squeezed juice I use to buy at bagel places in New York. Don't be dooped like I was. Einstein Bros., you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I stopped in here on a Saturday morning for what I thought would be a quick breakfast on my way to work. I have eaten at Einstein bros in other towns and in my experience it's a pretty standard chain bagel place. I ordered at one counter then went to pay at the other counter. I realized as the cashier was swiping my debit card that there was additional items on my order and the bill was twice as much as it should have been. Once she realized the mistake, she got a manager. The manager bereaded the poor cashier to a level I was embarrassed and uncomfortable. It took 20 minutes of the manager rolling her eyes, sighing, and raising her voice to figure out how to cancel that order and place a new one. After that was done they brought over the customer who had been undercharged and explained the situation to her. At this point they comped the other woman the items she hadn't been charged!!!! She was comped for being undercharged meanwhile a $10 bagel was now $35 out of my bank account! Today is Tuesday the excess charge is still not refunded to my bank account. Horrible experience horrible customer service and a terrible example of a manager. The bagel was really good however, but any chain restaurant can make their product from the frozen items they're sent....

I've found love.....in the form of a green chile bagel. I used to be in love with the Asiago Cheese bagel but then discovered that they make a green chile bagel which is basically a cheese bagel with green chilies on top. Top it with Jalapeno salsa cream cheese and you will fall in love too, I promise.

I have had two bad expericnces at this location, so after today I wont be going back: the line was almost out the door today at 7:30 am, and I wish every time that they could have two lines: one for professionals trying to get to work quickly, and one for people on a leisurely morning. I know this sounds selfish, but the service is already slow and I have almost walked out because of the wait time. The first time I went was at 8am on a friday morning to buy a bucket of bagels for my office, and the entire bagel case was empty except for one garlic bagel. I was told I'd have to wait for new bagels to be cooked, so I did; when they came out of the oven they weren't cooked enough, but I didnt realize it until I got to work and tried one. Today the line was long and service slow, and when I got to work, my cream cheese tub was frozen. I will be going back to Moe's Bagels from now on because even though they are more expensive, they have great service and quality food.

Einstein Bagels is probably one of my favorite places! Good bagels, coffee and wifi! I've been to may Einstein locations, and although this one is very convenient for me, I try to avoid it. The customer service really stinks. The last time I went in, a manager...older lady didn't even greet me or look me in the eye it was like I was bothering her.I understand if you are busy, but a smile and a simple hello go a long way! It just rubbed me the wrong way. It might be worth it to travel to Moe's....

Service is poor and unreasonably slow. (food is great). I won't go back to this location. Hint to Einsteins: if an on-duty paramedic comes in, make her order first. I saw this EMT almost walk out because it was taking too long. I almost walked out too but my job isn't saving lives, so I waited for my delicious bagel.

  • Candace B.

I love einsteens bagels but I went to get a dozen bagels today and a bagel sandwich and had to wait about 10 minutes for my sandwich, which didn't bother me at all until I got home. After I got home I realized they gave me the wrong bagel for my sandwich and they gave me a bagel in my dozen that I did not ask for instead of the correct one. It was not that busy in there and they should not have made so many mistakes! I will probably go to a different location next time.

Worst Einstein Bagel place I have been too. We had to wait for 30 minutes and they had 9 people working and 5 customers. They served us the wrong sandwiches first of all. The new sandwiches we got had hardly any smear on it. We I spoke to the manager she said iy is cooperate standard. I would not recommend this place.

I frequent this place often and have always been satisfied. My experiences have always been the opposite of what Ryan L. reported. I've never found that any of the employees were stoned and they have always been responsive. I'm typically pretty critical of service as I have high expectations. I can't say Ryan was wrong as I wasn't with him but my estimation would be that he found a bad apple on a bad day and his experience would be atypical.

The bagels here rock the house, as do their bagel dogs. Not a huge fan of thier breakfast bagel sandwich on the other hand- the eggs they use are tasteless and have the consistency and texture that's a little too much like tofu for my tastes. . My pattern with patronizing Einstein Bro's is basically summed up as a few consecutive Sunday mornings followed by weeks to months between hankerings. There are times where nothing else will do but Einstein's and it is a love/hate affair. It seems each time I go in, coming off of a long absence, the morning crew is different from who I remember and as one could expect-some crews are good- others frustrate you so bad you want to choke them. A mediocre crew was a big reason for the void preceding my last 2 check-ins. . I put a high value on the human elements (service, etc.) when deciding whether or not I want to frequent a establishment or keep visits in line with random cravings as they strike so therein lied the one unfortunate inconsistency with this Einstein's store that blocked a 4th star- overshadowing what is otherwise regarded as good food of the type and variety.

You can find better bagels than einstein's but they are consistent and always good when I'm in the neighborhood ! This is a very busy location but the employees are quick, helpful and the line moves fast.

Parking is a nightmare at this location that was transformed from an old gas station into a bagel shop. You'll get the same reliably good food and service, but unless you're lucky you'll be down the block or so for parking. Location can get extremely busy for how small it is.

  • Mary I.

We like Einstein Bagels. THIS LOCATION is awful! If you look at the floor behind the counter you will be repulsed but that is not the worst part. The staff and management are all unprofessional. I stood at the counter for five full minutes. Two of the three people working looked at me, made eye contact and didn't say anything. No "We'll be right with you" or anything. One employee had a purse on her shoulder moving around behind the counter the whole time. I would have left but I was there to run an errand for a friend, which brought me there twice in one week. I called once between my two trips there. The person who answered the phone was talking to someone else for about 20-30 seconds after picking up the phone and before saying hello. I thought "How rude. I'll have to tell the manager." Turns out -it was the manager! REALLY?! On my second trip I decided to buy myself a cup of coffee. The woman told me what refills cost. I decided on a bigger size to avoid the refill cost, then saw the sign that said free refills. I mentioned it to her and she was just confused. Basically, drive a couple miles to another location. The people working here and managing this location need a good high school teacher to set them all straight.

The people working at this location dont seem to care much at all. Sucks when they mess up your to go order and you dont figure it out until you get where you are going.
