Fairly cheap bagel place, I've never been to one before. I had the potato bagel and also an apple strudel bagel, with strawberry cream cheese on the side. They were both pretty good! Bottomline: It was packed on a Thursday morning, but the lines went by quick.

Blah blah blah, it's a chain, I'm supposed to hate it. Einstein has always impressed me though. One, if not *the*, best place to get breakfast in a HURRY in downtown Denver. This place is a well-oiled machine of service efficiency. I had a turkey sausage bagel, it was deliciousness.

This Einstein's is by far one of the most convenient, affordable (usually), yummy places to grab a quick bite to eat before, or on break from work. Only a block away, I know I can go get an 'everything' bagel....or perhaps my new favorite, the 'power' bagel anytime! (in the morning, that is) They are usually quick and nice.....although they loose a star because this morning I got a "power" bagel (note: new fav!), but I left the store to start chowing down and realized that I had gotten the runt of the bunch! It was literally half the size it normally should be.....I guess thats what I get for being first one in the door at 5:30am. Oh, and another side note.....if you want a chocolate/coffee milkshake....order the frozen mocha....I certainly wasn't expecting that...so it felt like I was having dessert at like 7:00 one morning...WAY too much sugar....but just a little FYI.

My Mom raves about Einstein's bagel dogs. I never thought they looked very appealing but she continues to get one every other week or so. Finally I decided to try one. I was less than impressed. The hot dog itself was weird tasting (like a bad after taste). I know you don't eat a hot dog for the quality of meat but it was overly fake-meat tasting. The bagel wrapped around it was worth about three stars but also nothing special. Overall I didn't like it. I'm sure they have other items that are better but it may be a while before I can stomach the idea of going back there. Oh and on top of all that, the employees were rude. Pass.

so I find myself having to be in downtown Denver for a few days last week...for something like the first time in 10 years. Einstein staring me in the face getting off light rail at the butt crack of dawn, and I think, "OK, why not?" Big mistake. Hit number one - no WiFi? Major fail, guys! Hit number dos - utterly less than meh completely tasteless breakfast sandwich. Hit numero tres - almost 9 bucks for the sandwich and a large coffee? HUH? I'd heard noises that Einstein had slipped overall. This location is state's evidence. Move along, people...nothing to wow you here.

The best bagel I have EVER had outside of NYC. Take it from a New Yorker visiting Denver...these bagels are the real deal. Moist, fresh, perfect toasted with light butter.

I don't usually write reviews for fast food style restaurants, but I thought i'd make an exception. My husband and I ate here yesterday. I had the tuna and he had the turkey club. Both good, but it was the staff that is deserving of the good review. Every time we've dined there, everyone has been so friendly and accomodating. I wanted a wheat bagel thin, and even though they were out, the cashier insisted that it wasn't too much trouble to make a fresh batch. They were out of the chips we wanted, and another employee jumped up to refill the stock. He too insisted it was his pleasure to do so. The lady who delivered our food walked passed again to make sure it was delicious. I saw all of them like that with the other customers too.' I read a lot of yelp reviews, and there's a lot of comments made about terrible service, which lets face it, there is alot of bad service out there. Its easy to forget to acknowledge people serving us that go above and beyond, but I think we need more of that! :)

This location is very busy. Sometimes, the cleanliness is a hit or miss. Most times the staff is friendly but I got a guy that was a bit of an ass the other day but I won't hold it against the establishment at this point. This is a another brand name so...everything is on the same level as the other locations.

Great food, great coffee, a little pricey but that's not anything you can control with a chain restaurant. The issue is service. They have good attitude but poor production efficiency. I'm enjoying my breakfast and watching the queue go out the door while others have paid and still haven't received food. The tempers are rising this morning!

Best Service I have every received from a busy Coffee & Bagel Spot. I was totally clueless when I walked in and ordered, I knew I should have gotten a bagel but the Egg, Spinach and Bacon Panini ($5.19)was screaming my name.It was very delicious the spinach with egg and bacon was a perfect combo and the bread was nice and crispy. I did feel like it needed some Strawberry Preserve. I am sure if I would have asked they would have provided but it was still good without it. I also ordered a regular brewed coffee ($1.69). I paid and walked over to serve myself coffee. I stood in front of the different flavors waiting to see which one called my name again. The guy at the counter walked over and told me the Vanilla Hazelnut was their most popular flavor. The recommendation could not have been better. The coffee was amazing. I find myself craving it now. High quality and Cheap. I will definitely come back to Einstein Bros when I am back in Denver

It's your standard Einstein's, lots of selections, great bagels, fresh bread. I like it's convenience on the 16th Street Mall. And I'm giving it 5 stars for the friendly staff, which I appreciate at fast food places. They really stand out in that regard...always greeting patrons, thanking them, and doing little extra things for good customers - a free coffee flavor, extra cream cheese, etc.

I typically visit here on my way into work. I always love the soft, fresh bagels in the morning. The staff here has always impressed me for being a chain. One staff member always greets me by name, and I always get fast service with a smile. This embodies everything I want in a bagel joint.

The service at this Einstein store has always been poor at best. They are slow and some of them are full of attitude! Yesterday morning I wanted a bagel and coffee. I never ask for it toasted as that seem to be a real challenge for these people. I was third in line to pay, and there was no one working the cash register. We all had our orders except for some drink one lady had ordered. Yet no one came to the register to take our money. Even as we commented loudly that it would be nice if we could pay!! I never got my cup for the coffee. I put my bagel back on the counter and left. I will never set foot into another Einstein Bros again. Dale

Great food, great atmosphere! The staff is hilarious, they were cracking jokes and had me laughing. Yes it's a fast food style restaurant so don't expect a gourmet experience but either way, it's a great choice!

This location has the most upbeat employees of any Einstein location I have ever been to. The service is just phenomenal. They always manage to make the guests laugh or smile. The food is good-typical Einsteins.

I'm in town for a conference that's conveniently located at the Colorado Convention Center. After my mid-morning session let out earlier than expected, I walked over to Einstein Bros for an early lunch. I came over yesterday after wandering around for food, and it was crowded. I ordered my food, grabbed my chips, and sat down while my food was being prepared. I got the honey-glazed smoked salmon on an plain bagel, and it was very delicious. (While ordering, I was asked if I preferred the smoked lox instead as it's more popular. Just an FYI). Today, it wasn't crowded at all while I was there. I also ordered the same meal, this time with the onion bagel. I think I prefer the onion bagel. The space is clean, and the staff is very friendly. I think I may come back before I head back to New York. Too bad there's no Einstein Bros in NYC.

Every staff member was friendly, courteous, and efficient. Food was great, drinks were great, and we enjoyed our late breakfast. I had an everything bagel w/ smoked salmon, water, and caramel macchiato w/ soy. Rest of the family also had bagels, with water or coffee drink. The bagel was so good, we all wanted another! Great job, Einsteins!

Hi Einstein Bagel. I am so sad that you are not here in Los Angeles. :( I am even more depressed since I have become so addicted to your vanilla hazelnut coffee. Salmon Schmear: YUM. I generally love fruit schmears but wow this one was really delicious. Perfectly salty with bits of yummy smoked salmon. It paired perfectly with my spinach and cheese bagel. YUM. Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee: this stuff is like crack in a cup. Such an incredible aroma and with a little cream and sugar. holy hell this stuff is amazing. I bought 6 bags of this before my flight to LA and it was soo worth it!! Please come visit me in LA.

These guys are a great stop - usually in the mornings for breakfast. I love bagels, they got a great selection. On this morning I just got their new Turkey Sausage Bagel on Honey Wheat - - one of their new bagel sandwich offerings that was less calories and fat. It was really good. It gets really busy, long line in the morning, but it goes by fairly quick. The coffee was good, a few selections too. Great location, and I liked the new low-carb, low-calorie breakfast sandwich offerings (2). I would have gone back for sure if I had the time, it fulfilled my morning dilemma.

The employees are friendly and quick service even when its busy as hell. The Bagel Sandwiches are delicious and pretty feeling. Sometimes the drinks i order like Chai Tea are kind of off putting with taste but that depends on which Barista makes it. My only complaint is i wish they would keep more Mixed Berry Coffee Cakes on hand because thats what my mouth waters for.

The service was quick and friendly. The store is conveniently located on the very popular 16th street mall only a few blocks away from the convention center. I stopped here for a NY-style breakfast, having a bagel and cream cheese to go. Nothing was wrong with any of this except that the bagel was soulless. The taste was bland and did not engage the palate whatsoever. Now I know why some of my friends from Virginia don't like bagels. If these were the only ones I ever had, I wouldn't like them either. God I miss Murray's Bagels in Manhattan...

Other than being rickrolled on one of my trips up to Einstein Bros Bagels, this place is swell. I have been to the other chains and quality/service are great. I had the turkey sausage bagel sandwich and a fruit cup for breakfast. Very satisfying and always a great start for the day. If you plan to stay anywhere close to 16th Street Mall when you visit, you can find Einstein Bros Bagels to satisfy your tastebuds.

I've had it with this place. It's right next to my work so I go here a lot but I have GOT TO STOP. I'd say they get my order right about 51% of the time (slightly more often than not), and all I get is a bagel with cream cheese. Unacceptable. This place deals only in extremes. You will either get your bagel very lightly toasted or burnt. You will either get a thin scrape of cream cheese or an enormous, grotesque glob. There are no in-betweens, no matter how you try to explain that you'd like your bagel "slightly extra toasted but not burnt" with a proportionate amount of cream cheese. The manager is verbally abusive to his staff and publicly berates them in front of the customers. His behavior is offensive and inappropriate and brings back bad memories from my childhood. If you are starving to death and there are no other food establishments on Earth and you are FORCED to go to Einsteins, make sure to thoroughly inspect your order before you leave because they are sure to have screwed it up.

Friendly corporate space (worth the 2nd star?) but major fail on the bagels. We asked for toasted. What we got was soggy and pretty much flavorless. I've been a fan of Einstein in the past but this location blew it. We ended up leaving the half-eaten bagels behind. I think that sums it up...

Quality bagels and yummy spreads. My all time fav is the sun dried tomato. The breakfast panini's are very tasty as well. This is the best chain bagel place out there.

the worst bagel ever. i will give them credit for putting salt of there everything bagel but that's it. the bagel is way too mushy and does not get the NY approval.

Wonderful staff, friendly, awesome. Management staff horrible, yells at crew in front guest, stands outside on phone while the staff inside is short-handed, and not polite at all, its sad. The staff awesome, great smiles. This is the one on 16th mall. I feel so bad for the staff.

I don't like chains, but this one is another of my exceptions. The bagels are delicious every time. I'm not even really a bagel person- I like a heavy breakfast and a light lunch and dinner, not the other way around- but I was raised by a Jewish father, and sometimes a girl just wants a bagel. At those times, Einstein Bros is there. However, they really get that fourth star for being kind to Denver's homeless and working poor population. I've noticed that employees always toss the unsold bagels each night in an unlocked, unsecured dumpster, in nice closed boxes that keep them extra fresh for the five minutes they're in there before being snatched up by either homeless people or hungry dumpster-diving students. Don't ask how I know this. It's a long story involving bowling and beer.

I used to love their food for catering for morning events -- and so did our attendees. Deliver was almost always on time with only a few rough spots. We used this location for catering for Not-for-Profit events for months and were fairly happy. Unfortunately, our volunteers had to charge it to their own credit cards and get reimbursed. We found their "House Account" option and applied. With a $425 order waiting for the account, I started calling. 5 calls, well over 2 hrs on the phone during a hectic work week while they tried to find the paperwork and see what was happening. 5 times they said they'd call me back and never did. Finally, a week after the application, I called back and got the answer that because some months we fall under the $300 minimum for a house account, that the request was in review by management (knowing we were waiting on the account to place the $425 order for that weekend). They'd call us back to discuss (again), or so they said. Once again, they didn't. I'm done waiting; no longer care if they call back. It's obvious they don't care about their community or their loyal customers. They've lost my personal and catering business. We've moved our services to Jason's Deli Community Partner Program where they are setting up an account with no minimums and community program prices -- So far, we are loving the new partnership! We'll see how the event goes tomorrow. Glad there are still some companies that make hosting events easy -- it's just not Einstein's.

Went here for breakfast. It's like Panera for breakfast. Had the turkey + cheddar combo. Wasn't too bad. I think the prices are kind of high for a oversized bagel bite ($5-8)

I am a bagel snob. I was born and raised in NYC. I know what good bagels should taste like. These are good bagels. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The smoked salmon "shmear" was great...not too fishy, but not cheap on the salmon either. AND I got a free coffee. I guess the guy at the register was just having a good morning and passed the goodness on to me! Try the Vanilla Hazelnut. My two fave flavors in one cup? My Sunday morning couldn't have gotten any better.

Busy place before work. Long lines but they mive quickly. I ordered the egg and cheese on a green chili bagel... but when I opened the package later it was a jalapeño bagel... not the same thing (nor what I ordered) but still tasty. I also ordered a white mocha which took forever to get. The cashier told the person to make it... he said in a minute... i waited... received my sandwich... waited... waited... i contemplated why I didn't just stop in at the Starbucks at the end of the block instead.... cashier asked him again and he finally started. It was a large white mocha. The guy was seriously reading instructions and his hands were shaking. Very unsure of himself. So just a word of caution.. if you're in a hurry order drip coffee only. I think management should put a person who knows what they are doing during rush hours. I watched him make my entire drink and it was good but seriously took a long time.
