They have a BOAT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BAR. I just...oh it's hilarious and I love it. I've been here a few times and it's pretty average. Good vibe, decent people , fine location. Good beer specials, cool setup inside the bar with the boat, some shot skis, a very low bar up front -- it's a decent place. Nothing about it sticks out as anything other than normal, but it's never a bad place to stop.

This is easy. It's clean, good crowd, Free Ping Pong, Free Corn hole, inexpensive food and inexpensive drinks. The drink specials are available all day everyday, so it's always happy hour there.

This place had just opened when I reviewed it the first time. A year later, it's one of my favorite spots. The drinks are cheap and strong, the bartenders are nice and quick. The games are free so grab a table for pool, fooseball, or ping pong- or join us outside for a game of bags. What more could you really want? Yes, its out of the neighborhood but its totally worth the $5 cab ride home.

The dive inn is one of my favorite dive bars in Denver. The service is always excellent, strong drinks, good people, and inexpensive food! Highly recommend!

Don't be put off by the bikini clad girl sign outside which suggests this may be a strip joint, its not. In fact it was a very fun place with pool tables, ping pong, fooz ball, and darts. The ping pong is free by the way, which is not typical around Denver. Also a nice crowd, friendly and polite. Decent although not extensive selection of craft beers on tap at better than usual prices. And Moscow Mules in copper mugs for $5! The place also has food although we did not get any since we'd eaten earlier. Bar tenders are attentive and get to you quickly, not like some places where a single overworked person has too many people to wait on. All in all a pretty good local bar definitely worth trying. We went on a Saturday night and the place was almost full but not so much that you couldn't find a seat somewhere. We had a good time!

This place was amazing! I was in town from Dallas and this place was down the street from where I was earlier in the day and I tried it out. I had their green chili and the juevos rancheros and it was SO GOOD! Seriously I could taste how fresh the food was. The service was also outstanding! Food can always be great, but if the service is terrible then usually your perspective will change. THIS IS NOT THE CASE FOR DIVE INN! The service was incredible. Adam and Ashley were so awesome! They treated me as if I was the president and made conversation with me and everything. I even got a tour of the entire restaurant (which I think the ping pong tables are baller status as well as all the patios they have outside). I will definitely be back when I'm in Denver again.

Love Dive Inn! Always a great hangout, the all day drink specials are awesome (really happy hour anytime), and the food is surprisingly really good. I recently threw a birthday party for my girlfriend there, one of the best experiences. Waitstaff took all my info, manager followed up with me, they had signs on the boat (yes, they reserve the boat for the party!), and everyone had a great time. Definitely one of my favorite dives except it feels nicer than a dive!

We visited The Dive Inn yesterday for the UGA/Alabama game. It is a UGA bar. It was a pretty fun place to watch a game. The place is loaded with big screen tvs, so you always have a view of the game. They also have a large patio area with cornhole and foosball. We found ourselves out there most of the time. We decided to order some tacos to satisfy our drunk munchies. They were actually quite tasty. We ordered cochinita de pibil and carne asada. Both were delicious. So, I definitely recommend ordering some while you are there. Overall, we had an awesome time. I will be back.

What else can be said about this place that hasn't been said? It's rad. You can chill in a speedboat, drink shots off a ski, sit at a weirdly awesome low bar and drink $2.50 house beers. Good vibe, chill people. I've been twice so far and really like this neighborhood spot. It's solid.

We were looking for some good Tex/Mex food in the Plat Park area of town, I decided to use Yelp in our quest. Up pops Dive Inn Bar and Grill on South Broadway which is couple of blocks away from me. The name is a little off-putting, as I expected it to be a dive bar not realizing that it was an underwater diving concept bar and restaurant. We went out at about 5 o'clock in the afternoon, I was told that the kitchen would open until 6. I was hungry so I decided to look elsewhere, but after driving around for about 20 minutes looking up and down Broadway decided to go back and just wait for the kitchen to open up. The staff behind the bar was very cordial and happy, and there were a lot of locals or regulars sitting at the bar. We had a couple of beers and it's 6 o'clock decided to order from their menu. They had tacos for $2 and tostadas for 2 dollars and 50 cents. A little slow on the preparation of the food, buta little slow on the preparation of the food, but when the food came out it was very good and we enjoyed it. So don't let the name of the bar put you off. Their back room area is pretty amazing with a ton of garage doors that open onto patios in warmer weather. We will be going back to the Dive Inn Bar!

I came here for a reunion with some great old friends, the two that organized it picked this place. I arrived early and decided to have a bite to eat while I was waiting. The menu is small, boasting tacos and tostadas with chicken, pork or beef, as well as a shrimp dish. I tried a mix of tacos. and was very impressed with the pork and chicken, they both had amazing flavor and the meat was very tender. The beef, on the other hand, was incredibly bland and dry. They came with a side of very spicy tomatilla salsa which put a smile on my face and sweat on my brow. A small but good beer list, IPA, wheat, import, and the standard domestic handles. The bar itself is laid out very well and makes great use of the space. There's essentially three rooms and small patio, and they even have parking. I like how the bar is sunken below the floor and street level. The bartenders were really great. I was somewhat taken aback by the friendly attitude and just great service. They were on top of their game, nobody was waiting around thirsty, and everybody had a good time. Because of the surprise I had when tasting the food and the great service, I'm giving them 5 stars. I would definitely come back here - cheers!

This is my favorite bar!!! The staff is so fun and friendly:) I'm greeted by name every time I stop in and I love hanging out in the boat! Not to mention the delicious tacos and fresh ceviche! If you want to have a fun night with a great crowd, definitely come to the Dive Inn

Love this place!!! I was looking for a good place in my area. When I saw all the great reviews, I decided to give it a try. This place lives up to the hype! Fun bartenders, lots of stuff to do, busy but not packed. Oh, and the food is fabulous. I was a little thrown by the fact that there are no servers, but honestly, it just works in this place. My new favorite hangout.

  • Joe ..

1/19/15 MLK. Bartender wearing a NY Yankees cap, turned away multiple customers, and stuck his foot in his mouth about local business owners.

  • Christian D.

Very cool place. Went in for 1 beer with a group. Definitely think this is one to revisit. The bar is table height for the patrons and standing height for the bartenders. Makes it easy to get a drink if you don't have a seat at the bar. I love the little boat (looks like an old chaparral). Definitely worth a stop if you are on Broadway.

  • Barry G.

The Dive Inn has an inviting atmosphere with awesome bar food. The pork tacos top the charts as far as a signature dish. But the civiche, green chile and Torta will keep you coming back. The Drinks are poured well and all the bar tenders remember my name. The staff is always present and positive. The place has lots of extra curricular activities that range from ping pong to corn hole. A ton of TV's and small fishing boat that sits in the center of the bar where you can have drinks and chill with friends. Its a great place to watch a game, drink, have a laid-back office party or afternoon business meeting. The bar is set slightly below the patrons which is a cool feature. There are also AC outlets and USB outlets available all along the bar with WIFI which makes it great to work there. I highly recommend this bar to locals and out of towners.

Live this little dive!!!! I always have a great time here. I recommend this local spot. Food and drinks are reasonable. Crowds aren't too bad on the weekends. Weeknights are slow.

  • Kane P.

A buddy told me about this place and I didn't believe him, but I feel like I am back in Florida. They got a low bar top when you walk in, a boat in the middle which you can rent out with a cooler full of beer and a bottle for a party (yes my birthday will be there) and they have plenty of games, pool, ping pong and corn-hole. I haven't had the food yet, but I definitely like the place. This will be a new spot for me.

  • Theresa S.

My hubby and I were looking for a good local spot - and this is it! Yummy street tacos and a fun "short" bar. We will certainly be back!

  • Aaron J.

Stopped in for a beer on a Saturday afternoon. The bar is clean and has a ton of scuba dive-ish decor. The bar stools were packed with what seemed like regulars. The bar stools and bar top are very short. That was kind of odd. The bar tender was nice and they had Avery IPA on draft. They were advertising some upcoming crawfish boils. I may go back for one of those.

  • Mark S.

The "Dive" part says it all. Oh, and there's a freaking BOAT in the middle of this bar, which is actually kind of cool and works. I came here to watch the Broncos playoff game (which they lost so I'll probably never come back here because of their badluck mojo) with a group and it was decently packed. The bar service was quick though as it was pretty easy to get a beer. If you like craft beer though, then stay away from the namesake "Dive Inn" lager, which I was told was brewed specially for the bar. Well, their special beer tastes like MGD, which is gross. So why the 4 stars? Because the food is dirt cheap and MUCH better than your typical bar food. Cochinita pibil street tacos for $2?? Are you joking? That's awesome. NOTE: You have to order food at the bar and then the kitchen calls out your name and on the other side of the bar where you can pick up your food. Not a terrible system as it cuts down on the wait staff, but the calling out of names every two minutes is a bit off-putting.

  • Mark H.

There is a boat in the middle of the bar...nuff said. Lot's of games and different rooms for pool, baggo, and ping pong. Really huge place to explore. Bar food is decent and drinks aren't too shabby. Close to the house so I'm sure I'll be back again.

    (4)
  • Aileen D.

Great place to meet up or just waste the afternoon with friends. The place is big enough and filled with all the requisite bar games so you shouldn't get bored. I still think the boat in the middle of the front room is weird but people love it. I haven't tried the food yet but it seems like everyone always gets tacos. Good sign. I haven't had a problem getting drinks. Even better sign!

Love this place! Super close to my house, so great neighborhood hangout. Had my birthday party here, and they reserved the boat for me with flyers and all! Friendly staff as well. Great place to meet friends for drinks and chill.

Awesome local bar!! Huge bar equipped with corn hole, ping pong, Ms. Pacman, pool, foosball, HDTVs, sunken bar and lots of patio area!! Cheap beers/drinks and supposedly the food is great bar food... the staff was awesome and super friendly!

  • Jeff B.

Fun bar, great food, attractive customers (ie. hot ladies). What's nto to like? They have TVs all over with sports. Great Mexican bar food. We had 3 tacos that was perfect. I cna't remember but I think I ordered one of each. Bartenders knew locals and frequent customers. Just a great all around place to hang out and/or get dinner.

  • Alex K.

I love this bar. Unfortunately I discovered in the last few months before I moved out of Denver, but whenever I return for a visit I will be sure to stop by. I'm a huge fan of the free pool, backyard space for bags, pingpong, hotshot, etc The bar itself is a good-sized space with lots of room to move around - with indoor, semi-indoor, and outdoor options. But its not so big that you feel like you are the only person there. One negative is the location, but the cheap (and well made) drinks compensate for it.

    (5)
  • Dana V.

What a great layout and a fun bar, not to mention there is a boat in the middle of the room! They have great drinks, an outdoor patio, and tons or games to keep a group of friends occupied. The owner and the staff are friendly and on top of their game...It's a little South on Broadway but definitely worth the trip.

  • Breeanne S.

Cool concept, terrible staff and management. The "door staff" is extremely rude and condescending, everytime we come in the guy checking IDs has some snide remark about what we're wearing or something dumb like that. I get it, it's probably his attempt at humor, and sure the first time we may laugh, but a comment everytime really isn't necessary. It's definitely a buddy buddy place, where if you don't know the staff you won't get treated very nicely. It's really too bad that such a cool concept is ruined by the staff's ability to make you feel uncomfortable. When I tell people about my experiences here people are shocked, cannot believe it, so I thought I'd give it another go...same thing happened. For some reason I don't think 3rd time is a charm is going to work on this one...

Ok, maybe I stopped in on an off night, to their credit. My experience was not pleasant here, but here's why: Hipster doofuses that I made the mistake of talking to on the patio. I remember talking to one of them, and his friend interrupts me. I call her out on it, girl got maaaaad! She tells the bartender about this and says I had to leave. I never even had a chance to tell my side of the story. Just goes to show you what kind of clientele they primarily cater to and favor. To his credit, the bartender did supply me with a glass of ice water while I waited for my taxi. So at least he wasn't a total jerk. On to the good. The concept is unique, very spacious, and it looks like a bar that caters to their neighborhood residents well. I do believe in second chances, so I can find myself coming back in the future, believe it of not. Just not anytime soon. And I'll be sure to steer clear of hipsters.

How could you NOT love this place? I mean really, what's not to like? Cheap, delicious tacos. Ping pong tables and corn-hole. Pretty large selection of booze. You can be indoors or outdoors and enjoy your beverage. Juke box where I can use my iPhone to pick and pay for songs. Seriously, this place is legit and has such a chill vibe!

  • Lisa G.

The Dive Inn is my go-to bar. Awesome drinks, games, and a really yummy taco bar. You can tell the staff loves working there and they welcome you instantly every time! The place is huge, has an outdoor patio (I think it is dog-legal too!!) They also have great gear - tees and hats and such. I can't say enough about this place. There is nowhere else you should be tonight.

  • John A.

I want to start by saying this is a cool bar. I do want to put my 2 cents in though. We were there on Saturday early evening and were having an amazing time with 10 close friends playing ping pong. Then your bartender/ manager came out and totaly yelled and kick my friends and myself out for smoking. I can see the importance of this issue but there is not a visible no smoking sign present and since we were out side any ways. The way the bartender/ manager handled the situation was crazy. He yelled and told all of us to get out! I was closing my tab after this and he came up to me to appologize but that was too late. I will never step foot in this bar ever again!! Thanks John!! P.S We would have dropped 200 plus dollar. You suck!!

    (1)
  • Daniel B.

This place has great indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is limited, but get the tacos. We did have a disagreement with the bartender on the amount of drinks we had and he took as personal affront. I never rate on service but, you will never see wait staff if you are not at the bar.

    (3)
  • Sara S.

I went here the other night to grab my VOTR tshirt and hang out! A pretty cool place! There's even a real boat inside to sit on. There's also: -pool tables -ping pong tables -cornhole -huge tvs to catch your favorite sports on. -the pitchers have the built in ice middles so your pitcher doesn't get warm, especially when you're outside on the patio!

  • Jonathan E.

first off, the Kobe steak tacos are incredible. Second, the shrimp ceviche is delicious. I always get one of each taco and then some. Mmmmmmmmm

  • Jon W.

Service was absolutely terrible, went there on a Sunday afternoon when there was only seven people in the bar. Two bartenders were doing shots while my friend and I waited to be served, sat at one of the high tops and watched the server align all the chairs instead of placing our order. Decided to go up to the bar and order only to wait five minutes while the bartenders had a personal conversation. During that twenty minutes not one person said anything to us, and we left to go to another pub.

This place has an awesome Moscow mule menu. Can't wait for the roof top patio! It is a fun themed bar with a boat inside, ping pong tables, bags and more!

I love this bar. I love that I can pile in a group of 10-20 and we can all split up and play games, the smokers can hang outside, the foodies can eat delicious and CHEAP tacos. The ceviche is amazing, which is a wild card item for a bar. Everyone is always entertained when we come to the Dive Inn.

Best new bar in Denver. Multiple game rooms and a huge boat to drink in. We go there to watch the games on Thursday, Sunday, and Monday night football every week. Like them on Facebook and they will let you know every time they have a cool event, i.e. my favorite "The Quarterback Toss" Look it up!

"Dive" as in nautical and clean bathrooms, nice bartenders, awesome games (like corn hole), and decent beverage selection. Wish I lived around the corner so I could return over and over.

  • Cory L.

I have never been treated so rudely. Unprofessional, overreacting manager will cause me to never return. My hope is that the ownership will consider all the bad reviews about service and make changes. It doesn't matter how cool your bar is if the staff are a bunch of jerks.

  • Terry B.

First off, one of my boys is a co-owner of this place and a hella good guy. Now that I've gotten that out of the way...I've been meaning to stop in here for close to a year now that I knew it was his joint, and I finally had the opportunity this weekend. It's a pretty cool, clean spot (not dive-y IMO, or maybe I'm just that big of a dirtball that I know what a true dive bar is) that has two patios a nice little bar area, a cut out of a boat, and a dining area as well as a back room and bar along with darts, ping pong, basketball hoop and cornhole setups in the back patio. I was famished after playing softball and working out, so I needed some food and their pork tacos were actually really good, much better than I expected for a bar. While the corn tortillas were small, they were overloaded with shredded pork, full of flavor, come with a slice of lime to add that citrus bite and loads of red onions. I dare you to try to eat one of these without the pork and onion gushing out because they're piled so high. Extra points for offering an Easter Egg Hunt for plastic eggs filled with chocolate goodies and potentially drink coupons. Extra, extra points for having pitchers with the little ice container thingies in the middle to keep your pitcher of beer cold in case you're drinking it solo. (and if you're drinking a pitcher solo, I have a phone number for you to call)

I love this place. The atmosphere says "relax"and the patio says "have fun !" The Dive Inn has corn hole, ping pong, pool and some 80's video games. Haven't tried the food just yet, but when I go back...I will !

One of the greatest bars. They have something for everyone. Sports on many screens. Lots if seating in main bar. Large outdoor patio lounge area. For the active, they have pool, foosball, ping pong, bags, and an assortment of classic arcade games. Plus, all of the staff are great!

    (5)
  • Jules G.

The Dive Inn is a fabulous place to hang out any night of the week. The best part of a bar like this is the games you can play... ping-pong, pool, corn-hole, etc. There is more than one "bar" to get a drink and plenty of patio room. Check out their website and scroll through the "boat" pictures, what a fun idea. Looks like I will be spending some quality time at the Dive Inn!

Totally worth leaving my neighborhood for! This new bar has everything it needs to be the perfect local hangout, except for the location. The energy is great, the drinks are cheap, the staff is awesome, and the games are fun (and mostly free)! I say open a second location in Cap Hill/Uptown!

Venture past the front bar and kickass boat and you'll see this bar has the best patio for games in the city! They also have lounge chairs and offer free drinks to ladies in bikinis on Sundays - can't beat that!

You walk in and take notice of the way lower than normal bar top. You sit down on the exquisite tiny stools and start looking arou.... Oh goodness what is that!? could it be? No way. Yes it is! A boat... In the bar? there is a full boat which has had a table and seats put in! After a drink I walked around. They have ping pong tables.. Really good foosball tables.. Billiards... And good food! I do believe I found another excuse to head south!

DenverBarHopper say, "Muy Buentastico" Alright...it's all relative here, and the place is called THE DIVE INN. A new addition to the SOBO scene, with staying power! Think Bar Games, TV, patios, garage doors, cool West Wash Park set...mid 20's to 40's...where the guy in the baseball hat can chill w/Martini Girl, IF SHE IS SO INCLINED... A little history for the unawares...it's like Candlelight Tavern, with new car scent. 5 Hops, call the cab.

I came here the first time a week ago and fell in love with it. The place is huge. It's got a few pool tables, ping pong tables, and cornhole set up in the back. There are two patios, one indoor and one outdoor and a boat to drink on. I went two nights in a row on a Friday and a Saturday. I do have to admit that the right crowd will determine your love for a place. The first night there was an event going on and all the people were awesome. Drinks were cheap, and the conversation was great. The second night there was a d bag birthday going on and all that was shouted over a mic was come do shot skis. While it's fun for the party, it's off putting for the rest of the patrons there. The draft beer selection is OK and they have Avery IPA on tap. Their dive inn draft is pretty terrible though. What do you expect for the cheap house beer. I highly recommend the sweet tea vodka and lemonade for $3

I recently scheduled a work happy hour here for a group of about 15. I spoke with the owner to get everything setup, and he was so incredibly accommodating. They offered to open the kitchen early for us, and reserved the boat (that's right there's a BOAT in the middle of the bar with life jackets to wear) and a few tables for us at absolutely no charge. Additionally, everyone was really impressed with the food. I'd say it's on the much better end of your traditional bar fare. Drinks are cheap, service was great, and all in all everyone had a great time. We spent a lot of time at the ping pong tables but had it not been raining I think we would have been hitting up the corn-hole outside. I would definitely consider this place if you're thinking of having a low-key event! I'll also add, outside of the work happy hour, we have probably been here 5-10 times. The quesadillas are bomb and the mules are cheap! What's not to love.

  • Brick H.

Yes, yes, yes. This place has everything that I want in a bar - pool, crazy shit like a speedboat with tables, a great atmosphere, cheap drinks, great service and it's never been packed full which I appreciate. I've come here for birthdays, dates, meetings and just to chill and never have I been disappointed.

When you first walk in, you're like "Oops, let's get the ef outta here." Ignore that. You just walked into a place called "Dive Inn", give it a chance. Because what awaits you is a good time at a really coo.... is that a speed boat?? 1. There's a god damn speed boat right in the middle of the place, and you can sit in it with yo friends. What? 2. Ping pong tables in a room with giant swordfish on the walls. 3. Foos and pool tables in the back back, with lots of pictures of people fishing and life vests. Have I sold you yet? Cuz I got more. 4. Corn hole in the out back area. Love me some corn holes. 5. The kicker.. $5 mules. If I haven't got you yet, this should do it. I mean, mules are delicious and for only $5? In a copper cup ! And I had you thinking this place wasn't fancy! If there's a better way to stick it to the terrorists than to knock back $5 mules while playing ping pong under the gaunt stare of a giant swordfish, I don't know what it is. If you see me in there, challenge me to some ping pong, if you win, I'll buy you a mule. But you won't win, sorry.

Dive in is appropriately named. It's the dive-iest of the dives. I can see how the atmosphere there would be pretty cool late on a weekend night when you've already had dinner and are a few drinks in to the night. The drinks are just about as good as anywhere else, the staff was friendly, the food was MEH (best word I can use to describe it), and the layout is a little strange - feels disjointed between 3 or 4 different rooms.

  • Melissa S.

Came here on a Friday night and the place was half empty but that doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing! Very chill environment. Love the decoration and obviously the boat in the middle of the bar. The only bad thing it's far from everything really so it's not really an area you can bar hop cause there isn't much else going on in a mile radius.

    (4)
  • Alex B.

I can't believe I didn't notice the boat in the bar until my third time here. That's just embarrassing. However, I will say that I have spent most of my time on the patio, so maybe that's a valid excuse! I love that there's corn hole, and that even though the patio is small, the garage doors open to make it feel much larger. I can't vouch for the food, but the beer selection is solid, the mules are delish, and there's a boat. Inside. How can you not like that?

  • Emilee D.

I remember coming here when it was BJ's Carousel. My how things have changed. It's definitely not the dusty and dark drag queen dive it used to be. Kind of miss those days. Not to say that the remodel is bad or anything. They gave it a nice face lift and threw a boat in the middle of it. I was a bit disappointed that the boat wasn't a pirate ship, but it was still a novel idea. As my date and I sat in it, the first thing that popped into my head were these Lonely Island lyrics: "I'm on a boat (I'm on a boat) I'm on a boat (I'm on a boat) Everybody look at me cause I'm sailin on a boat (sailin on a boat) I'm on a boat (I'm on a boat) I'm on a boat Take a good hard look at the motherf****** boat (boat, yeah)" The drinks are cheap and strong here and despite being busy, the bartenders were pretty quick. Bathrooms are nice and clean which is always a good thing. They have an outdoor patio area and they also offer pool tables if you're into that. I've heard wonderful things about the food and look forward to checking that out in the future.

Guys, guys, guys. Why has no one let me know about Dive Inn? Seriously, I'm feeling cheated right now. James F and I poked our heads in the other night to use the Moscow Mule Passport deal. Dive Inn has 8 different mules from which to choose, so we were already sold. But upon walking in and being greeted by some cool bartenders and noticing a freaken' boat in the middle of the bar, we were already sold. So we shimmied up to the bar, chose our respective mules, and enjoyed a fantastic evening chatting, people watching, and sipping some damn fine drinks. Before we closed out our tabs, we were encouraged by the bartender, whom I think was called Kramer, to take a look around the joint because it was a lot bigger than it seemed. And holy cow, it was! The place already seems massive, I mean, there's a speed boat *rightthere*, but continue past the boat and the main bar area, and you'll find a room full of pool tables and ping pong. And then an outdoor patio with more games and another bar! Geez Louise! This place is definitely a Tardis. I don't know about you guys, but I have a feeling that you'll be finding me at Dive Inn a lot in the near future. Care to take a boat ride with me? (Seriously, I need to hop in that boat!)

I wrote a review 2 days ago however I can not find it now, so I will write another. We went in on Friday 2/13. Cool concept , we had been here before, at that time we had bad service , basically just RUDE. So this last Friday was the 5th try, and AGAIN, very rude. I am starting to think that if you are not a regular , you will be ignored and you will feel as if you are bothering the bartender. I tipped 20%+ on every round as I use to be a bartender I am totally about tipping.....but this place, you have to go up to the grumpy and rude bartender, but I tipped anyway in hopes she would be nicer. NOPE nada , didn't happen. Very sad as we like the patio and it is close to our office for happy hours, there are many more bars along Broadway that would welcome us and our $$$ . I hope this one gets posted, as I feel the owners should know....but I have a feeling they do, they just must not care.

I live down the street from this bar and have found that this bar is going down hill fast, it no longer caters to anybody properly. It needs to terminate certain bartender males who are arrogant and foul mouthed not to mention racist.

Best bartender, service, & prices ever! We had so much fun! We asked if they had a koozey we could have or buy & initially she said no, but then she went to the basement to double check. She came back up with a baggy of cool stuff, including a koozey! We bought a glass & left a large tip & it was well worth it! I would've spent more money!

Came here for a charity event. Sitting in the boat was cool! I recall munching on some appetizers, although the drinks were so strong it's all a little fuzzy. Great dive bar!

It's really kind of remarkable how humble this bar is about its food and drink. I've never seen a MENU of Moscow Mules (they make an Irish Mule with Tully's, for example, or a Southern Mule with sweet tea) or had such a rock-solid menu, plate for plate. I live a block away and so eat here probably 3x a week - #1) The (Argentine steak) quasadilla is an absolute must - if they have green chilis that day, DEFINITELY spring for the extra $1.50 and tell them to hold the salsa - you won't use or need it. #2) How the heck are these tacos this good for $2? Just as good as Pinche, but this place HAS A GIANT SPEEDBOAT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BAR AND YES: WII FISHING FROM THAT BOAT. #3) Chicharrónes. Don't argue, just get it. If you don't like it I like a block east and you can leave it on my porch.

Great people, atmosphere, and drunken ping pong! Also the staff is nice and there's a boat table in the middle of the place. Kinda reminds me of the Chrysler table from Pulp Fiction. I recommend this place.

Great bar! Awesome bartenders and strong drinks :) The food is really great too for the price. $2.50 tostadas and they are huge! Green chile is bomb, you can tell is made fresh every day or two. This is a great place to go with friends for a night out. Lots to do here, including watching sports games, playing ping pong, bags, pool and more! The main front bar has an outlet and USB port under each seat, super convenient! I've definitely used them quite a few times when my phone was running low on battery. Last but not least there is a boat in the middle! Super cool!

It was our first visit to Denver and we were looking to spend the Friday night.. not too expensive and not too far but fun nevertheless.. This is an amazing place! Not too big but you can grab a place..Loved the tacos..$2! Try out the house specials drinks.. Sit in, stand out or pick up a paddle and hit the balls at the ping pong or a game at the pool table. The bar tenders are very polite and well, you will love the boat!

Why would you go any place else?! They have a boat and what happens in the boat stays in the boat. Excellent snacks and good vibes!

I love to go here to watch UGA football games. They definitely cater to the Georgia crowd and the sec football crowd. The ambience is really amazing for games on Saturdays and the crowd gets very rowdy. The pitchers and drinks are cheap so it is perfect for watching football games. They have $5 Moscow mules that come in a variety of flavors. I had the regular one and it was delicious. I ordered the shrimp ceviche from the menu because it was really the only thing on the menu that wasn't super greasy. It was only $6 and was a super fresh combination of shrimp, tomatoes, and onions. It was served with a side of chips. I enjoyed it. Next time I go back to the dive inn I will try some of the greasy Mexican items from the menu. Looking forward to the next game day!

The service was great and I applaud the bar tenders for dealing with the horrible humans who were in there. What could have been a sweet dive hangout turned into a country playing bro bar. Maybe I just picked a bad night?

Typical dive bar. Casuel atmosphere, friendly staff, and cold beer. Oh, and in case you missed it there is a boat in the middle of the room. Expext some of the standard bar food, and when we were there they were having a crawfish boil. Large game area with pool table, and plenty of drinking space.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
