Del Taco is so much better than Taco Bell. The food is top quality, inexpensive and made right every time. I am a "regular" at DT and give five stars based on numerous experiences, quality of food and top notch service. A wonderful Littleton fast food joint, clean and friendly.

1am, we are at the drive through. There's no response so we figured it was closed. Drive up to the window and the window states the drive through is open until 3 am but we didn't see anyone inside so we drive away when we notice that there IS a worker. We drove through the second time - no response at the drive through PA... We drove up to the window and knocked... No response... Sad we didn't get our quesadillas and had to get burger king instead.

Tiny portions of very mediocre tacos/burritos/quesadillas. The bacon cheese quesadillas hardly had any bacon or cheese in their floury, undercooked shells. Worst, my partner found a piece of wood in his bean burrito. Thin, teak wood. In his food. Ew. Unacceptable.

Really upset with this Del Taco location. They are supposed to be open till 3am but this is the second time we have come at like midnight or 11pm and they have a really weird kid there that says their system is down and can't take any orders. Not only is he weird but he acts like he's on drugs. Super frustrating. I will be calling corporate tomorrow

I'm surprised to see so many bad reviews. Like a few others, I've driven by this place a zillion times and just never stopped. Something about the outside of it, or their sign...it turned me off. But, I needed to eat cheaply and quickly, so I stopped in with my boyfriend. Let me just say that we've now been there half a dozen times or more. In a month. Like, we eat there a lot. And, I've been exposed to several different shifts of employees, etc. I am always so pleased with the service and also pleased with the food. It's hard not to compare them to Taco Bell, where I used to get my fast food Mexican fix, but Taco Bell shouldn't even be spoken of in the same sentence of Del Taco. Del Taco: Everything is fresh. I've never had stale burritos or tacos, the cheese is tasty and not just there for decoration, I find the portions fantastic for the price - especially if you hit them during Fiesta Hour (which I want to say is 2-5 PM Mon-Fri) when a bunch of their menu items are 50% off. They're always running a promotion of some kind. On Wednesdays, you can spin a wheel to win free food. I can't comment on the fries and I've also never had the burgers. Just...why would you do that? The churros are awesome - ask for double sugar. Their green sauce is awesome and the guacamole is actually /really/ good, which surprised me. Everyone who works there looks like they want to be there. We're always asked how our food is and thanked for coming in when we leave. I can't see myself eating the slop at Taco Bell again. Never ever.

After moving to Littleton, I was forced to find new restaurant options. This was one of the first I selected. My first visit (early morning drive through) was outstanding. The food was fresh, tasted great, and the service was excellent. The second visit was very good as well. However, my three visits (all in about a two week time span) were subpar. The fries tasted stale; as if they hadn't changed the oil in a 24 hour time span. The final time the fries were left out completely. I took the opportunity to give them feedback via the survey code on my receipt, but never heard anything back.

Bad day at Black Rock? They must be very understaffed because our order just wasn't as good as usual. We visit a DT about once a week, but, seeing the Manager working like crazy in the kitchen, and a lot of food prep not swept up, tells me they did not have the staff today. Oh well, the turkey tacos were good and once they made hot fries, we were good to go. ( even though we were in the dining room ). To their credit, the staff delivered hot fries to our table.

Used to be a fairly clean Del Taco, but last Tuesday it was pretty bad. I mentioned something about the lack of cleanliness and all they could do is say,"Well, we're busy." However, they really weren't that busy: just three or four people in the lobby, with an occasional drive through customer. After I and the lobby's condition, not a single soul came out to clean it.

I was never properly introduceed to Del Taco. I'd see it from the road as I drove by for a long time before I ever found myself pulling into their drive-thru as a result of no other options. It turned out to be one of those wonderful fast-food surprises as I grabbed a few items from the menu to see how a place can offer up tacos AND burgers. Only one of them can be done well...right? Wrong. The tacos were great...but the cheeseburger was superb. In fact, everything I've ever ordered at Del Taco is tasty and the staff are always genuinely friendly. I don't get over there as much as I'd like, but I make a special trip every chance I get.

At 1:30 in the afternoon I was prepared to make a large order as I needed to feed our teenage boys baseball team, I was told that it was not a good time to call as he( the person who answered the phone) was too busy with the lunch rush. I will continue to go to OTHER Del Tacos, but never again will I go to the Southwest one! Very disappointed in the service.

It's a taste of Los Angeles car culture right on South Wadsworth. Nobody who drives or cruises in So Cal hasn't been to a Del Taco. I've been a fan of Del Taco since the 1970s. The Macho Combo burrito is simply delicious, as is everything on the menu. I'd be frightened to know how much salt is in this stuff, though. Yup. I'm a fan. Tons better than Taco Bell. Don't be afraid. Give it a try. Now, if only we could get Norm's and Tommy's Burgers out here.

I don't do chains and I don't the 'burbs! However .... it was a must on this particular afternoon. I have never been to a Del Taco before, but I just may go again. I did the drive through and only got two tacos ~ a fish and a chicken del carbon. WOW!!! "words of praise, words of praise"!!! Very authentic Mexican! Just like the beach vendors in Cabo!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
