Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Best pizza in Denver and I'm from NYC....

Skate or die, bro?!?! The employees do...but it's still damn good pizza. Thanks to my hubs, we (or he...) have pizza at our house at least once a week. And Cosmos's is usually the pizza of choice. Our favorite is the Hawaiian, but all the combination/supreme versions also result in foodgasms. Yes, really. Delivery is really fast, unless you call in at a busy time on Friday or Saturday. We typically call in and just go pick it up. Ready in 15 minutes? Oh, you're so good to us. The best part is their ranch. I kid you not. Get extra, dip every bite of pizza in it, rub it all over your body, I don't care. Just love it.

Been here a couple times, and enjoyed myself reasonably enough. Or I was just drunk. Well, can't it be both? Cause it is! Greasy pizza that either hits the spot or leaves you a bit queasy the next morning. Or again, maybe I was just drunk. Can't it be both? Not a place I go outside of drunken shenanigans.

The good; they got to my place in under a half hour after ordering it. Lots of slices of sausage and fresh pieces of green pepper. The bad; not nearly enough sauce or cheese for my liking. The pizza was way under cooked was actually doughy in the middle, pizza had little flavor and just pretty boring maybe that's why it's served with dipping sauces. Pizza is a personal thing and this place just is not for me. Although, I would give it a shot again for a slice but probably would not order again. Nothing special but evidently some like it. But as someone who grew up in a city known for their pizza to me it's nothing special but will give it 3 stars based on the speediness and fresh ingredients just wish it had a little more flavor.

I have had this pizza in Denver and Boulder, it hits the spot. It is some of the most perfect NY style pizza I have had outside of the east coast. The slices are massive, and one or two will bring around the darkest of nights. They are open very late too. The crust is tangy, soft and crispy. Sauce is zesty and in perfect balance. Cheese ratio is dialed in. I really should be hitting it with five stars. Right now it is my go to, but I will wait till I eat it a couple more times.
(4)Gabriela M.
I ordered pizza and some breadsticks. Over the phone they told us delivery would take an hour to an hour and a half. we waited patiently. what did we get? NO PIZZA. NEVER CAME. DIDNT EVEN TELL US WHY very very disappointed. oh yeah and I was really thirsty really wanted a coke a cola I went to bed sad.
(1)Shane T.
Huge pizza slices (24" pizza) and my favorite is their pepperoni and sausage. Pizza's aren't very thick but they are filling and pretty good. Only three stars because it's not the type of pizza that I just "have to have" but it definitely satisfies. MUST HAVE THE SPICY RANCH DRESSING
(4)Kayla V.
Cosmos pizza is a solid place for a quick dinner or late night snack! I came in last Friday around 11 p.m. and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety. Though the pizza is premade and reheated, it's delicious and crispy. I ordered a pepperoni with jalapeño and the crust was so crispy and the slices were huge! Thinking that one slice wouldn't fill me up, I also got a salad and that thing was a monster! The Cobb salad is seriously huge, and is probably what you would consider family size. There were huge chunks of ham, bacon and veggies. I was able to enjoy it the next day! I'll definitely be back especially when I'm hungry late at night and not in the mood for fast food.
(4)Kayla R.
My friends and I loved Cosmos and it had been a neighborhood favorite and recommendation for years up until recently. I went in on a Thursday evening with friends and the pizza inventory was low (pizza they keep in glass), not complaining, we just asked if there was any other options coming up. We got cussed out by one of the pizza makers-at one time him calling us mother f***ing b******and asked if we wanted to make the pizza. I've never been treated so poorly especially for no reason. Everyone has bad days but working in the service industry or any industry where you interact with the public you do not treat your customers that way. Good service outweighs good pizza and I'll never go back. I'll always recommend anyone to go anywhere but cosmos.
(1)Reid R.
10 min too far away to deliver a pizza only 2 mile radius then why does yelp have you as a first option they need to make you last since you dont service this area stay far away from these guys Super lazy wonder what they do to the pizza
(1)Rebecca M.
Ordered pizza here last week for delivery. Staff taking my order was very polite, pizza was delivered in less than 30 minutes.. Super quick! Pizza was decent. It was slightly undercooked and should have been in the oven for another 2-3 minutes. Looking at the other reviews now, it seems that happens more than it should. I would give this place another shot..
(3)Luke C.
Delicious pizza, great service and friendly staff! What more could you possibly ask for?
(5)Michael N.
Is there such thing as perfection? I did not think so, until I had Cosmos Pizza! A firm believer that pizza should be delicious, Cosmos delivers on every level. The only better pizza i've had was when I was in Italy. Keep doing what you're doing.
(5)Leesa G.
Fresh but always seems like it is not cooked. I always need to cook the pizza when it arrives. Additionally this place is extremely overpriced.
(2)Allie R.
I love cosmos. Its my favorite joint for a slice of pizza. My favorite is the spinach, sun dried tomatoes, and artichoke. Second fav is the pepperoni and jalapeño. Can't go wrong with either of those. Size of the slice and crispness is excellent. Try out their signature spicy ranch for the crust!
(4)Katie N.
HUGE slices! A little greasy if you have pepperoni or any other meat on there but overall pretty tasty. Haven't ordered delivery yet so I don't know what that's like.
(3)Kate H.
Called to order pizza, while we're were looking for our card, which was misplaced, he told us they were busy and if "we didn't want to fucking pay for our pizza they had other people on other lines that would" we found the card apologized and started to read the number, when he hung up on us, we called back on a different number and he answer and read the first four digits of our card back and said go. I asked to speak with a manager and he put Greg on the phone, explained the situation and after he coped an attitude he stated "well we're not making your pizza so we don't give a shit" I have NEVER been treated so poorly by someone in the service industry in my life.
(1)Paul M.
This pizza is the best to consume after a concert or after 1am. Always hits the spot when you need a meal late after drinking! The slices are huge and it's a dollar a topping or so. Pretty standard. Depending on what time you go you can get a slice that hasn't been sitting in the window all day. The best way to ensure a delicious fresh pizza is to order a large one for delivery. Comes out to about thirty bucks, after a couple toppings, but it usually comes within a half hour and is made right before it comes over. You HAVE to get the spicy ranch no matter what. It is the ultimate dipping sauce for pizza, I have no idea what's in it or why it is so damn good but I got a jar of it so I didn't have to order it every time. Try a slice and order some delivery, especially if you are close to 6th and Grant.
(5)Isaiah G.
Best Pizza Ever! I always wondered what it would take for me to give the coveted "5 Star Yelp Review" to a restaurant I always imagined it'd be like a diner or perhaps a steakhouse of some sort, but never in my wildest dreams while I entered Cosmo's would I think that this is what 5 Stars looked like. Inside is so tiny you could probably only seat 10 which is okay cause they have carry out/delivery for you at-home eaters. Their menu was small and easy to read you can order pizza by the pie or by the slice don't worry they also had the usual pizza place extras like Calzones, breadsticks salads etc. When you've decided what you want the pizza is displayed precooked, you can add toppings(which they have several) or keep it as. Either way you decide it's going to be made to PERFECTION. I don't know if it's the sauce, the cheese the thin crust or some secret mojo but somehow all of it formulates to the ultimate pizza! Oh and another thing like if you needed even more convincing, the slices are huge and the prices are small!
(5)Bryan M.
Total BS they would not deliver 2.9 miles away I am the low high district. It was one streets that was their so called off their cut off. Now take it to granite I did call at 1:15 AM and they were very short with me. I understand wanting to get out and be done with work, but if you advertise till 2am, teach your crew to be nice and admirable to your clients whom feed their income....REGULARS. If you would not guess, we are cooks that get off late and want to be treated like humans and Cosmos late night crew are very rough around the edges and I will broadcast to ALL of the cooks/chefs/servers in Denver restaurants I know to NEVER call Cosmos pizza because they are so flipping rude to our post work late night cravings. I will take my business elsewhere and make sure to tell 10 people to tell 10 people....fix your late night crews attitude or Cosmos will be a whisper in a blizzard!! Sincerely, a hungry cook....AH's!!
(1)Ken K.
I hate Cosmo's. Now everytime I get delivery from any other places, it's immediately benchmarked next to Cosmo's and it never holds up. Granted places like Proto's have more authentic neapolitan pizza, but Cosmo's has just straight up amazing thin crust NY-style pizza. Everything is consistently perfect, time after time, and delivery is lightning fast. Really, what more could you ask, besides beer delivery perhaps?
(5)Sean D.
Unfortunately the pizza at Cosmo's adheres to the syndrome that most pizza places in Denver also do...they don't cook it. We ordered a pizza for delivery and it arrived in a near inedible state. It possessed no crisp texture, zero golden brown color, needed at least 5 more minutes. I'm sure the slices are fine, considering they sit under heat, are cooked twice prior to consumption and are therefore forced into a state of crispness but if you order a pizza, preheat your oven...
(1)Jake S.
Best place in my neighborhood for a late night, post bar, pizza delivery. A Cosmos pizza box is always a staple in my fridge.
(4)Elayne G.
Carry out special 16" 1 topping $ 11.99. Good amount of cheese and toppings. In house made sauce. Delivery till 2 am everynight. Nice friendly staff
(4)Doug P.
Late night ppl are rude and do not use gloves.... Hands touching everything and putting cooked pizza back on the racks for other ppl to order.
(1)zach b.
Good pizza in a city that doesn't have a clear front runner in my opinion, fast delivery.
(3)Michael O.
Good lord that's some good pizza. 24 hour delivery that is pretty quick as well. We got an extra large pepperoni, jalapeño, and pineapple. It was massive! Easily fed 5 (somewhat intoxicated) people as we ordered it at 1:00am and they delivered it to the bar.
(4)Geronimo A.
Fantastic sliced pizza made to order with fresh ingredients! House salad with spicy ranch is the bomb!'n
(5)Chris H.
The breadsticks are literally just sticks of bread. No seasoning, $4.00 for 4 of them, bread crusts. The pizza was very basic and bland. Maybe the XL pizza slices are better? But for $10 more per pizza I wasn't willing to go for it.
(2)Tula J.
I ordered Cosmos for delivery 2 weeks ago and they delivered! Great crust and a good pizza and calzone! Called tonight for delivery and they said, 'no, we won't deliver there.' WTF????!!!! So I said, I'll spend my money elsewhere.... SEXY PIZZA ON Old S. Pearl! Booya for the win! I'll be ordering from Sexy from now on!
(1)Jacob F.
Pizza place. Good pizza, they don't skimp on toppings. More importantly, they deliver super quickly and as late as 2 am
(4)Diana K.
Our go to pizza place. Especially because we are right down the street. Can't beet their chipotle ranch with their New York style pizzas!
(4)Doug H.
Not many places are going to be happier about pot legalization going into effect than Cosmo's Pizza. ;o) It hits the spot perfectly with cheap, hot delicious slices and they're open to at least 2:00 am every single day. Everything made fresh--from the dough and sauce to their own ranch dressing. (I know, ranch dressing and pizza sounds disgusting, but don't knock it until you've tried it.) Really cool people working there, both men and women, which is unusual for a pizza place, so we enjoy sitting at the counter watching them spin the dough. For us, Cosmo's is conveniently on the route home from downtown, so after a movie or concert, or a function where they didn't serve anything but carrot sticks and crackers, there's nothing better than plopping ourselves down at the counter at Cosmo's for a late night slice.
(5)Rachel S.
Fast delivery time, delcious pizza crust and sauce and really reasonably priced! We always order the pepperoni pizza and jalapenos. Its cooked to perfection and the amount of toppings is perfectly in proportion to the sauce/size of the pizza. We order from them once a week and it never fails to be the best.
(5)Dan O.
Decent 'za, but not the most consistent. Love the spicy ranch for the crust, though.
(3)byron d.
Okay. Beats dominoes. Ordered a pizza for takeout and felt kind of ripped off after seeing the huge pizzas they sell by the slice. Probably cheaper just to grab a few slices to go than order a pizza for takeout.
(4)Evan A.
I've always wanted to try Cosmo's, but never pulled the trigger until tonight. My friend told me they sell by the slice, figured it would be easy to try. Very happy I did. The slices like everyone mentions are HUGE, literally the size of your head. I ordered the pepperoni and spinach with artichoke hearts. Less than 5 mins later they were warmed up and ready to go. I appreciated the light sauce and the nice assortment of toppings, no shortage here. Thanks Cosmo's, I'll be back.
(4)SYLVIA R.
We used Cosmo's to deliver our holiday office party....the entire experience was sheer perfection! The young men that helped me really listened and took great notes. They were so patient with me as I explained a very complicated order. I went down the night before and gave them a list of who wants what salads, different dressing, very complicated order for over 20 people. I asked for special pizza's too. We had a limited amount of time so the order had to be there at 12 noon. The food arrived right before noon, perfect timing, the pizza was delicious and really hot - and the complicated salad orders were completed perfectly. Cosmo's at no extra cost supplied all of the cups, plates and napkins. That's to them, for a brief shining moment, I was the office hero. Another team liked our service and food so well they too, ordered their team's Xmas party from Cosmo's too. Thank you dear Cosmo staff, you are the BEST cooks and you meet and exceed my very best expectations!!
(5)Rick J.
great flippin pizza, nice staff as well. rick
(5)Samantha B.
I figured out how to enjoy this pizza- SLICES! Yes, their in-store slices reheated in the giant oven and freaking delicious, especially late at night ;) Their delivery pizza is still awful. Can't explain it- but definitely go in for a slice!
(3)Kristy G.
When I called for delivery tonight and inquired about the delivery times, I was quoted 45-50 minutes. I said that was reasonable and ordered delivery. Our food arrived 35 minutes later. We ordered calzones and holy buckets, they were HUGE! I had to cut mine in half and it still barely fit on my dinner plate HUGE. I ordered mine with jalapeños and was happily surprised that they were fresh ones (which I prefer) - not jarred. I also ordered a side salad with their spicy ranch dressing. The salad container was packed full of lettuce and veggies, and the ranch was delish! Fast delivery + Epic amounts of delicious food = very happy customer!
(5)Rand L.
Ordered pizza on Sunday about an hour before a Broncos game. Pizza was 45 mins later than expected (was told 30 -45 minutes and it was 1:30 before they delivered the pizza). The pizza was cold and the Spicy Ranch that I paid $3.00 extra for, was hot (ordered 2 servings). The driver shows up and called me to meet him at the curb instead of "delivering" the pizza. Really? Dominos shows up when they say they will, it's hot, they deliver it to my door and it's half the price. Avoid this place like Ebola.
(1)Laurie S.
Pizza was great. The two stars is due to the slimy salad I received. I called and asked for my credit card to be credited for the salad and was told no. Would I take a credit for the future? No, I think a refund is more appropriate. Did I want another salad? No, I want a refund and be done with it. So they offered to send someone back to my office to give me the cash (can't refund my CC??). They show up with no refund and another salad, which I found a bug in. Gee, thanks. DISGUSTING.
(1)Steven Z.
Great pizza at a great price. I came here for lunch and was able to get a drink and two large pepperoni pizza slices for $7.00. The staff was really friendly as well. My buddy didn't want his second slice so they put it in foil for him and set above the stove to keep hot. After finishing his first slice he asked for the second and because of the way wrapped it and where they placed it he was able to jump right into it since it was still hot. My only complaint would pizza the seating area. It wasn't very large. Check it out for sure
(4)Elena V.
Went there at 1am for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Bland and tasteless. Parmesan or red chili flakes couldn't salvage it.
(1)Ernie E.
Super long delivery time and forgotten item. We ordered one pizza and a salad. The pizza showed up 1.5 hours after I placed the order. The salad was a casualty, the driver apologized and offered to go get it or remove from the bill, we opted for the latter of course. The piZza was just okay, certainly not bad but nothing to write home about. Also, of course the driver had no napkins, grated cheese or crushed pepper. I wanted to give it one star, but I opted for two because I don't want this to be considered a non-legitimate review, or paid review. I always tend to throw out single or 5 stars reviews because so many are fakes.
(2)Courtney V.
I only give one star because of the kindness offered by a manager at another location. I am housesitting for the holidays a few blocks from where I used to live. I am ashamed that I ever made a purchase from this establishment. My experience has been abysmal AT BEST. The truth goes like this: I call in, and order a pizza. Normal right? Then, I informed them, yet again, that I have a dog that barks. Please, call me as to deter The precious pup from barking at delivery driver. Then, driver shows up. No knocking, just continuously rings doorbell. No respect for comments on notes. then, he has already opened storm door. No wonder we have a storm doors? Total disrespect. Then, he shoves pizza into my breast area. I hand him a 20 for my $16 pizza. After he made a very nasty comment he threw my change into the snow. Saying he didn't want my money anyway. I attempted to call the restaurant multiple times. They continuously hung up on me over and over and over again. Manager continued to tell me that his name was Ralph. I asked him if he could even remember the last name of Ralph from a Christmas story because he was continuously disrespecting me. I, had the presence of mind to reach out to another location of cosmos pizza. I spoke with a woman named Tertia that was kind, empathetic, and did not appreciate the nastiness that ensued by the Denver location. She however, ensured me that the owner would be notified of their faults. Until this situation has been resolved, I will no longer, EVER, eat at Cosmo's again. I also, will discourage others from ever patronizing this pathetic excuse of an establishment.
(1)Jacqueline A.
Love the pizza from here. Ordered the Cosmos special (tomatoes, basil, and garlic) with a side of their spicy ranch for delivery. *Make sure to get the spicy ranch, it's great for dipping your crust into. Came to my door within 30 minutes and was piping hot and delicious. Always enjoy my slices from this place. If you go to the actual store front there isn't a real sitting area, just a couple short bars with stools to sit on. When you order by the slice they're always big and made to order so they come out really hot. Remember to wait a few minutes for it to cool otherwise you'll lose a few taste buds. When I get a craving for a slice, this place is on my list of go-to's.
(4)Dave S.
Damn good pizza! Try the Supreme, it's insanely good! Highly recommend!
(4)Chris M.
The place was pretty good besides the breadsticks simple just dough with no seasoning or taste. Overall a good experience.
(4)Paul J.
Decent pizza, terrible service. Refused to deliver to a location 2 miles away that they've delivered to at least a dozen times before and when asked why the policy change he mumbled an answer and hung up on me!
(2)Sara D.
This is my absolute FAVORITE pizza ever!! And their chipotle ranch...to die for!!! Highly recommend!!!
(5)Michelle S.
Darn good 'za!! Don't forget the spicy ranch! Delivery is always reasonable and the pizza and calzones are perfect. Great price. Salads awesome too! Mmmm mmmmm mmmm!!
(5)Josephine G.
Perfect late night pizzas! Especially after a night of drinking!!
(5)Michael P.
Last night's "WTF" moment: Quite hungry, at around 10pm I stopped at Cosmo's on Grant for a slice of pizza. The pizza making area is completely open and can be viewed from any place in the store. As I was ordering I watched a young chef load a pizza into the oven. As the pizza was half in and half on the open door of the oven, the chef lifted the edge of the pizza, leaned in and bit the edge of the uncooked dough. In my 25 years of being around pizza cooks I'd never seen anything so odd. Such an obscure visual yet, my mind tried to justify what I'd seen. Some kind of dough testing technique? A personal signature of teeth marks? But, hold it, that must be his own personal pizza, right? That can't possibly be for a customer... The young woman that took my order walked over to another pizza chef, said a few words and nodded in my direction. They both turned and glared at me. Oh great, I thought, I'm seeing things and becoming paranoid as well. I assume it was because I was distracted by the visual and placed my cash in the tip jar as her back was turned. I'm usually uncomfortably obvious when tipping counter help and baristas. 'Like some dweeb, "O-K, I'm placing my money in the tip jar, see me putting my money in the tip jar..." I could not get the visual of the cook out of my head. As I sat at the window counters I watched, hoping he may have something else to replace what I had. At one point he grabbed his t-shirt at the center point of his chest, pulled it up and wiped his nose. I doubt I'll be returning to Cosmos. One star for the event. The other for giving me a story.
(2)Jill W.
Walking back to my friends new apartment, browsing Yelp for a late night pizza delivery place, and called the first one on the list with at least 4 stars. Delivery time was shorter than what was quoted on the phone, which was nice since it was already 3am. :-) When the delivery guy arrived, we realized we locked ourselves out of the apartment. He helped us "break in" to the apartment which was a huge relief since my friend just moved in and didn't know who to call (and our phones were inside). In hindsight, we probably could have just found a locksmith. After all that, the pizza was delicious (great sauce) and the ranch was amazing. Thank you, random delivery man in a gray sweatshirt for bringing us yummy pizza and helping us not sleep in the hallway.
(4)Joe B.
It's 1:25am and I just finished eating half a calzone that I spent 10 bucks on. So not only did I satisfy my late night $10 snack budget and craving I've got lunch tomorrow now, can't beat that. Most importantly it was delicious. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed the music they had in there, but I can see where they mostly appeal to a younger crowd although at 21 I'm cool with that. Cosmos is for sure worth checking out
(5)Matthew M.
These idiots are so rude it's sickening. Orders that never show up, A-hole employees, disgusting ingredients, notorious for calling it quits about an hour before their closing times... what a joke. F- Cosmos pizza. Don't eat here - plenty of other places to get late night food in this city!
(1)Jeff S.
It's just ok pizza. I grew up in a town with a ton of small pizzerias on Long Island. The sauce is good, so is the cheese. It's the crust I don't particularly care for. I find it bland. I've literally had to ask them on several occasions to salt the dough before tossing the pizza, and then you get too much salt. Eh, too bad slice works doesn't deliver.
(2)Rachel C.
Have had a love affair with this place since we first met many many years ago. Been a customer as long as I can remember and most nights were filled with amazing memories! :) Lots of love to Jake and Matt! So much fun! I've now known you fine gentleman for almost 9 years! Cheers to you, cosmos and the famous spicy ranch!!!
(5)Gene W.
Had Cosmo's for the first time last week. Gotta say I was impressed. We ordered a simple pepperoni, so nothing complex to review. We did however get an XL.......... man, they were not kidding. The slices are HUGE on this pizza. A paper plate is not going to have you covered on these slices. Straight up, classic, back in the day type slices. We had it delivered, and in came it good time. It was still hot, but I would really like to order a pie and eat it there in order to really do a fair review. The one thing that it was lacking to me is that the cheese was not very stretchy, gooey type cheese that I like. But that may be due to the time it took to deliver it, I dont know. Either way, it was definitely good enough to know that I will try them again.
(4)Graham P.
Had Cosmo pizza delivered, deciding to try and new pizza place on a friends recommendation. First of all the XL size is enormous, also nice to see that the pepperoni isn't too greasy like many places. Also had a supreme pizza and that was my favorite. I would definitely order from them again.
(5)Chris H.
Great NY style pizza and one of my favorite places to get pizza by the slice. They deliver (which I haven't tried) or have take out. They don't have a great seating area but there is some counter space available. Customer service has always been exceptional. I took my daughter there and she loved it as well!
(4)Robert G.
Called them after Pizza Alley in NW Highland was too busy and dropped my call (although they still rock 95 percent of the time). I did see a 24" pie in Albuquerque from Marios on San Pedro but that was 15 some years ago, so I was pleasantly surprised to see they offered such a monster pie. Ordered a 24" pepperoni and cheese for 21 & change, scanty parking , quick in and out service and wrestled the pie in the back seat and took her home. Aahhh- got that kill for pizza smell all the way back and was delayed in getting to it at home for a good half hour. Well it was cold but very good and two slices was it. Definitely got ate up the next day. So there you go Cosmos, thanks for the plentiful spice and parmesan, quick service and fridge magnet. I will return.
(4)Topaz A.
Not very friendly driver, didn't crack a smile, barely said hello. The worst part is he calls in advance to tell me I have to come out to the street and he can't park. Even though every other delivery company has no problems delivering to my door. He did end up coming to my door but made it seem like it was a major inconvenience. He still got a tip but not well-deserved
(3)Kristen N.
Cosmo's is a pretty legit place to grab a slice. It's great either before heading next door for some fro-yo or, for delivery if you live in their radius. They'll deliver into downtown, which means my office now orders from here when we need to for meetings/brainstorms. I prefer to order a whole pizza rather than have a customized slice made with their pre-made cheese pizzas in the restaurant. But this is kinda a rule I live by at any and all pizza places. For some reason, I just don't feel like the flavors melt and ooze together the same way when you are just adding toppings and heating a pre-made slice. Call me crazy... The little secret about Cosmo's is their SPICY RANCH. It's delicious and a great addition to a good piece of pizza. Us Americans with our Ranch usage, I know. Gag. But, this place really has it right by making normal Ranch spicy and delicious. Makes me not feel quite as bad for dipping my crusts.
(3)Maisha H.
What can I say... Great pizza! Great FRESH salads! Reasonable delivery time! Whenever we want pizza delivered we definitely call Cosmos!
(5)Sean A.
Love their calzones and pizzas! The spicy ranch sauce is awesome! Fresh baked and hand made fresh

This place is hands down, my favorite pizza in Denver (or Boulder, when I lived there). It's my go-to greasy-food-at-2am joint, and really any other time I have a craving for delivery. The spicy ranch is like crack. I order extra and then dip carrots sticks or bell peppers in the leftover. Make sure you get some with your pizza for dipping (even if you're not a pizza dipper, which I never have been). Damn, now I'm hungry for some Cosmo's!

Pizza is usually not my 1st choice for food. I've had good pizza but nothing I couldn't live without... even in europe. So when a friend decieded to do pizza for a bunch of us that came over I was just grateful it wasen't crap like black jack. So when our pizza came I helped myself to the original (Margarita ) it was fantastic... the best pizza I had.. even in europe. I don't know why it its the best it just is. The delivery did take awhile, but I will for give it because the pizza was that good. I can't speak for cleanliness or service since it was delivery, but the pizza is great.

When I first found out they opened a Cosmos Pizza in Denver I nearly fainted - I rarely make it to Boulder anymore when I do visit Colorado so it was a godsend to finally be able to have a slice full of nostalgia from Cosmos. It is becoming a tradition that whenever I land I'll order a large to go and share it with whoever was nice enough to pick me up from the airport. The last time I was in Denver (I'll be honest - it was over four weeks) I ordered Cosmos Pizza seven times with different friends. If there is a spicy ranch addiction epidemic in Denver right now, you can blame me. While Cosmos Pizza is by no means the best pizza in the world, for Colorado, it is pretty damn good. They offer a consistent, fresh, and quick delivery option for New York Style pizza in Denver. When I lived on 11th and Pearl, I usually had to settle for Sexy Pizza, but had I lived there when this was open, it would have been a no brainer to go Cosmos every time.

Best pizza in the Denver area and probably top 5 best pizza spots in the nation (and I've had a lot of pizza in my day). I love their huge slices and spicy ranch dip. Once you have it, you'll be hooked. Since I don't live in the area, the canned ranch is a serious plus. I like their plain cheese or their cosmos special (mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, and garlic). It's just delicious. The employees are very nice too. Probably want to take it to go at this location as there's just limited bar stool seating.

Our order was delivered incorrectly and the driver said he would bring it by in no more than 20 minutes. As time passed, we waited and waited and still nothing. I called the restaurant just to check in and see if the driver was on his way but they had forgotten to even bring us our right order. He said someone would bring it over shortly. After a while longer, I called back to speak with the manager and the manager just told me that calling would not make it come any faster and there was nothing he could do. And then he hung up. They were all completely rude and extremely stupid.

Cosmo's is AMAZING! By far one of my favorite pizza places. The spicy ranch is the best! I usually get pineapple, pepperoni, and jalapeños and it's sooo good!
(5)Shelley H.
Disappointed in the pizza. Cosmo's is nearby and I was hoping for better. The pepperoni was okay but the Greek Veggie was so bad we threw out the leftover slices which I never do. There is better pizza to be had nearby. Won't be getting pizza there again.

This place BLEW my mind the first time I tired them at the beginning of the year (Jan. 2013) and continued to do so for the following months! I remember this one time I placed a REALLY late night order (after a long day of work) and it took a bit longer than usual & the manager called me to let me know he was on his way & when dropped off the pizza apologized again for vein late, he explained how he was the only one left at the restaurant & had to lock up before he could deliver something like 10pizzas! And the pizza was still fresh an amazing! I used to brag about How I didnt know a pizza could come that fresh! The mind blowing freshness of the l finished product was just, fresh hot steamy & cheesy good! HOWEVER, THERE ARE BUMMERS: what happened to you guys? I feel like some one was just being lazy. The pizza tasted like it was OLD or re-served me an already PREMADE pepperoni pizza that they just thew additional toppings on & stuck back into the over to reheat it. Gross. It was by far the most disappointing, disgusting pizza I've ever had. It was soaked through the bottom of the box and the whole pizza was wet & soggy like it sat in water and was just inedible. I was so sad when I called to explain about my icky pizza and the person on the phone acted like they didn't care and the I was lying. Then when I tried to tell him how I've loved them in the past he got very impatient and somewhat combative & never apologized... They sent out another pizza to replace the first that wasn't soggy but it was of the same, stale re-used quality. I haven't ordered from them since. So sad. Pull it together Cosmos, I want to love you again so bad!

Horrible!!!! 711 pizza tastes better. Tasteless dry pizza and watery spicy ranch. Vomit.

After reading other's reviews I decided maybe I was a little harsh on Cosmo's pizza. And when my stomach started gurgling at 11pm at night since I forgot to eat dinner, I decided to walk over and grab a slice. No, I was not harsh. This is not good pizza. And perhaps it's like NYC pizza, because even there bad pizza exists. Again the sauce and crust is mediocre, at least this time the cheese was gooey. I'm surprised people mention the crust being overdone. Both times I've had it, it's soggy. However I will give them an additional star because, the huge slice of pizza is reasonable at $3.25, the staff is friendly and they have late hours which makes them very convenient. If I'm hungry enough late at night, I may end up going there again.

Not bad! I tried Cosmos pizza for the first time and was happy with my experience. Service: I ordered takeout and when I arrived my pizza wasn't even in the oven (they messed up the ticket), BUT they completely owned up to the fact that they screwed up and turned the experience into a positive one. The staff was really great and extremely friendly. To make up for the mistake, they took a large portion of my purchase off, provided extra dipping sauce and an additional order of bread sticks, and they gave me a free drink - with a souvenir cup - while I waited. They truly felt bad and were very good about making up for the mistake. I was thoroughly impressed with the way they handled it and will definitely go back. Pizza/Food: Decent. Their pizza was well-made, tasted pretty good, and the crust was hand tossed and excellent. Their bread sticks and dipping sauces - Awesome. I might actually order just those next time. Yum.

Cosmos pizza is delicious, and the spicy ranch is the best I've ever had. They also sell the spicy ranch by the jar as well. The staff has always been very kind and fast. If you have a hankering for some solid pizza, cosmos is the place to go!
(5)Jonny D.
Lots of reviews saying "no complaints." I'm right there with you. Solid spot you can rely on for decent food. I'm a bit more of a Sexy Pizza man, but I like thin crust. Cosmo's hits that sweet spot between the overly-doughiness of Niccolo's and the maybe-too-thin-for-you crispiness of Sexy.

Best 'by the slice' pizza in denver. And the best thing: Open till 2am! I routinely go here twice a week (sometimes twice a day). I especially like it because my favorite frozen yogurt store is right next door. I can kill 2 'gastronomic' birds with one stone. The slices are huge and I get 2 if I'm really hungry, but 1 slice is usually enough! I like the community bulletin board and the 2 TV's. You will see my 'check-ins' here a lot.
(5)Emilee C.
MEH- This place is just alright. I was not a fan of the crust. Ive had a lot better pizza in Denver at this price point. They were really sweet on the phone and it was fast delivery. I just don't understand some of these raving reviews. Maybe because Im from Chicago and I have higher pizza standards.
(2)Terry B.
I stopped in the other night after meeting some friends. I wavered between 1 and 5 stars for this review and decided on a 4. It's not the best pizza you'll ever have, and maybe I was just starving but it really hit the spot. Got a slice of roni and cheese. The slices were big, and it may have been too much for this skinny kid, but I ate it all anyway. Service was quick, sices were good. Yeah, the roni was a bit greasy, but isn't that what makes za great? Besides, you can always wipe off the grease if you want. Overall ambience of the joint is well, reminiscent of the pizza joints you'll see in NYC. There are a few tables and a bar area to sit at.
(4)Mar S.
Maybe it was because we went at 2 in the morning, but I was not impressed. The pizza was hot (too hot), but it didn't have much flavor. The staff was incredibly nice and gave us all of their leftover slices for free. However, none of them really tasted good. I would not return.
(2)Dr S.
Best pizza in Denver based on plain slices. I have tried most places around and this is the best. Plus the staff is always on point and super friendly. Go, go now.
(5)Vanessa E.
Cosmo's Pizza opened a location in my neighborhood last week. Last night was my second visit and by far this is the best New York style big slice pizza place around. Not too much sauce or cheese, huge slices, great speedy service.
(5)Lisa O.
I only wish I lived closer so I had an excuse to go every day.
(4)Andrew D.
Huge slices, great for late night.
(5)Jen W.
I would give it 2.5 stars but haven't figured out how to do that yet! Good but not great. I love my bacon and this one was a crumble - not a fan. It was plentiful - they did not skimp on the toppings. I may be biased as I grew up on East Coast slices but think Cosmo's can do better. The delivery guy was prompt and polite. I would try them again - in house - to be sure I have been fair. However I will not be using them for delivery as they have been edged out.
(2)J L.
Good pizza spot for sure! I went to CU, like some others have mentioned...and thats where it all started. Ive also lived in NYC, and Id say this is up there, but not quite as its a little bland, but still good. Not sure why there are neg reviews, where are you getting such better pizza folks? I got a pick up pizza tonight, and there was def not enough cheese, but Cosmo's I aint mad at cha!
(4)Brian B.
Best pizza in Denver! You have to ask for their spicy ranch sauce on the side. I've only ever ordered delivery, but they are always on time and it is always delicious.
(5)Katie L.
I am pretty stoked that even if I was stumbling blackout drunk I could safely walk over here from my apartment until 2 am for some much needed food. Uh, not that I would ever need to do that however. I saw some people eating slices the other night when I went to Yogurtland and the slices looks all sloppy, floppy, greasy, and delish! I came back the next day for a slice. I got a premade slice of tomato basil. It was pretty good, will definitely do since it is so close but I wasn't in love with it and the whole time I was eating it I was wishing it was sloppier. The girl at the counter was very friendly and informative and I appreciated that. Anyway it is pretty OK, cheapish, and open late.

This pizza takes me straight back to New York... everything about it is great. if it were a LITTLE bit thicker (like 1-2 mm), it would be simply perfect. The dough is nice and soft, yet crunchy (once they toast it). Sauce is made in-house, and the ingredients are very fresh. This is a great value for what you get... I will be back for more.
(4)Alexis M.
As a graduate of CU Boulder, I know Cosmo's. It has been a late night staple in my life since my very first weekend as a freshman in college, and I was beyond thrilled to see that there is a Cosmo's location right down the street from my apartment in Denver!
(5)Kady T.
I called this place on New Year's day - they delivered my pizza within about 20 minutes. It was a bit cold, but hey what the hell. Then about 30 minutes later the same delivery guy came back, opened the door, said "FREE PIZZA" and left a large cheese pizza at my front door. I don't know what happened. I think my head exploded from not being able to compute what was happening. But it was definitely full of awesome and this place is awesome and that pizza delivery guy is awesome.

As much as we love Benny Blancos, sometimes we hate the crowd from Beauty Bar, the bad service and the lack of anywhere but the gutter of 14th ave to eat. So sometimes loyalties have to change and move South a bit to Cosmo's. While the service is still underwhelming and the music is blaring almost as loud as Benny's, the slices are at least one-and-a-half times larger and there is a bathroom. In terms of how good the pizza is, it's really a toss-up and we're positive your slurry ass won't notice. And even if you say you do, no one will understand you. But in terms of value, Cosmo's will always win. There's really not much more to it than that. Cosmo's does gigantic slices, late night hours, has a clean bathroom, space to eat and is less than a stumble away from the Lancer Lounge. What are you waiting for?
(4)Tatia D.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Cosmo's. My daughter took me there for the lunch special 2 pieces and a drink for $7,. We split the price and had lunch for 2. I have been faithful to Anthony's NY Pizza for many years and I have to say that Cosmo's has stolen me from there hands down! The staff is always friendly and the place is always clean!!!! Way to go Cosmo's!!!!! You got my business!!!!
(5)Cynthia N.
You don't need to be drunk to love Cosmos Delivery. It's my go-to on a busy night at home. The pizza is great, and the Greek Veggie is at least a healthier option than the usual Pepperoni and Cheese served up as slices. Enjoy it.
(5)Megan Y.
GINORMOUS PIZZAS! I can't remember the toppings we got, but they were pretty good. If you're looking for good value pizzas these are it. They also go well with beer and as a midnight snack.
(3)Julie L.
Great pizza! Cosmo's is defiantly my favorite in town. They have GIANT slices which make it a great place to grab a bite to eat. They also make spicy ranch which is delicious!
(5)Mariel R.
As an east coaster, this is my favorite pizza place in Denver. When I am craving that chewy crust, this is the place to go. They also have really cool plastic to-go cups that I reuse all the time.
(5)Adam A.
Huge slices of pizza and its really cheap. Two giant slices and a soda for $7. Here's what I don't like about this place. The employees were rude and they were't busy at all, The whole restaurant only seats maybe 12 people, and the pizza is a very bland and nothing special about the crust, sauce, or cheese. Maybe at 1am in would taste better.
(3)Crypto S.
When a pizza place advertises their "speed" on the sign/window instead of their quality/taste, this should have been the BIG RED FLAG.
(2)Kevin M.
Great late night pizza!
(4)Christine A.
it's awesome that they deliver so late but the pizza is just okay. the breadsticks I got were doughy and felt undercooked and lacked any seasoning at all. the spicy ranch is delicious but it doesn't save the place. also, the delivery guy made me go outside to the corner to get my pizza. I understand they are busy but it was thoroughly awkward.
(3)Cathy C.
Decent pizza and salad for a fair price, but certainly not the finest pie on earth. I can't put my finger on it, but the components didn't come together with symmetry. The crust was crispy and the sauce was on the sweeter side which I enjoy but the flavors were simply okay. The dipping sauces K ordered - spicy ranch and a very thick marinara - were good and a little necessary to fully enjoy the crust. The garden salad was full of higher grade ingredients like spring mix, artichokes, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes and shredded mozzarella. I'll eat here again since it's in the neighborhood and and next to the fabulous Yogurtland. I think this is a pizzeria that could grow on me but I'll see.
(3)Carbona N.
Adequate pizza with no extra charge for delivery.
(2)Adam B.
great sliced pizza and exp with their homemade spicy ranch.... They are friendly and quick with their service and they also deliver until 2 everyday which is crucial.
(5)Margaret B.
I remember when Cosmo's opened in Boulder. It definitely made a lot of college kids happy at 2 in the morning. I was pretty excited to hear one had opened in Denver. I tried it twice last week and it's still makes me happy! The first time I just had a slice of cheese, just a little burnt on the bottom (otherwise this would have been five stars) and the second time we ordered the Greek pizza to go....one of the best pizza's I've had in a long time...it was SO good! I definitely recommend it. Glad to have Cosmo's back in my life!
(4)Steph G.
A reasonable slice for a reasonable price. I didn't have any issues like one other person mentioned. Maybe they had a new guy starting that day.
(3)Helen J.
I went to school in Boulder for four years and religiously visited the Cosmos there. I always liked the soft crust, especially with the spicy ranch and was very impressed that they use real bufala mozzarella cheese just like New York pizzerias rather than mozzarella from cow's milk. I was so excited to learn that Cosmos was coming to Denver. I recently visited the Denver location for the first time and was a little disappointed. The crust was overdone and the spicy ranch was way too dense. I hope that you guys get it figured out because I would love to make Cosmos Denver my pizza place.
(3)Jamie S.
this place rocks! the pizza isnt overly greasy , the dough is perfect! the toppings are fresh they deliver late .. like really really late, good for those nights when you close the bar up and their staff is really quick !!! awsome pizza !!!
