Our office happens to be very close to the Burro King and we are all very excited that it is! We are in a warehouse and office environment with an equal mix of Hispanic and non Hispanic workers and everyone of us across the board love the breakfast burritos. The green chile has a perfect blend of flavor and spice and the have a good menu of choices. I have also eaten some of their lunch items including the carne asada platter and the asada burrito and both were excellent. Calling ahead is always a great idea, especially in the morning because they do get very busy. It looks a little run down on the outside but is clean inside and the food is great!

    Great steak breakfast burritos.

Great Mexican food. You may have to wait 10 to 15 minutes but well worth it. And no Montezuma's revenge like most other places.

World class Tortas and the breakfast burritos are phenomenal. Back that with an exceptionally caring staff and it can't be beat (they cook to order tortilla chips for chips and salsa - that's caring!) I can't wait to get back here.

It's a sore site in a ugly location. I just finished the smothered asada burrito with medium sauce, and it did not hit the spot. Place needs work and their seasons need renovation. Maybe my choice was wrong, but I asked the chef what do you strongly recommend. He says "It will cost you more" and guess what it didn't live it's expectations. Qdobas burritos taste better for the same price....

By far, hands down, best breakfast burritos ever!!!! Just wished I would have ordered more to go. I'll be back!

If you are living in the Colorado area and thing that all Mexican joints are the same, this place will make you think TWICE!!! Grrrreat food and I mean TASTY! I saw this place as a last minute pitstop to curb my hunger before taking care of business. The owner was very friendly upon walking in. The decor in the restaurant is unique and even has pictures of Pancho Villa on their wall. The establishment itself is quite clean (and so are the bathrooms). I ordered the beef Machaca Burrito (pic included) while my other half ordered a Chimichanga. I have to say that whatever that the seasoned bell peppers and onions added to the food adds a taste that is off the chain! And let me not forget the sauce they put on the side for Chimichangas (and I assume for many other dishes) is just HEAVENLY. You will enjoy every bite of your food here. When I come back to Colorado, this is one place I definitely want to look up again :)

Manage your expectations. I've had a lot that I don't really enjoy here, and a lot that I do. I really dig the number three bacon breakfast burrito--no chile sauce, just lots of Cholula. The azada burrito is pretty good as well. Again, I prefer it with no chiles, just Cholula. You will have to wait, because they make it after you order it. But it's no big deal, you can just watch the View or Judge Judy Wapner or whatever other daytime television is playing loudly on the 13 inch TV in the lobby.

This place is a dump, messy, and weird; family runs it, kid at register is a little goofy but very nice, uncle runs the place and cook is family as well. Low class, cheap but almost everything I have eaten there was enjoyable, not great, but enjoyable which is a little bit above good. Nice portions, hot, freshly made, I always take out but they do have sit down section, these are people with no money trying to make it happen, I SUPPORT that. No corporate signage here, all signs are crudely written on scruffy poster paper, with pictures and arrows and drawing and weird shit everywhere, see the pictures or better yet stop in... I used to stop for breakfast and get the corned beef burrito NOT BAD AT ALL now I get the basics as I go to work, huge burritos so I ask them to cut it in half. I had a problem with green Chile burrito, it was chewy, kid didn't understand why.. and said he would tell his uncle, a week later he had me try again and it better, all in all just what you expect, as time goes by they will either fail or get better and bigger, I think they are okay,,Give a try Think about the menu first though, Can't hit homerun every time

This is hands down, without a question, my favorite burrito place. I get the #4 (vegetarian) with beans - they're magical. Plus, you get a ton for your money. I take all my breakfast burrito-loving friends here. No one has been disappointed yet.

I don't know how this place can receive negative reviews. As far as the burritos go, this place is better than Santiago's and for $3.25 or so, you get a pretty good size burrito packed with flavor. The majority of their breakfast burritos are made with a huge tortilla, egg, potato, chili (hot or mild - get hot), cheese, and choice of meat - steak, chorizo, bacon, corned beef hash, etc. The flavor is filling and powerful, I have to admit. My fave is the chorizo, yeah, it's greasy, but good. On various days your burro can be gynormous and others it's average on size, but hey, again, no complaints here. The taste is considerably consistent. Service is always prompt, courteous, and since the place is the size of a 10'x10' room, yes, it's small, but you can still sit down to have a quick bite to eat or take it to go. They offer an assortment of american and mexican soda and other dishes as well. I haven't had the opportunity to try anything other than the burros, but next time I will. Overall, for ~$3.25, I can't complain. It's good, the cheese is good, the chorizo is good, oh yeah.

Very solid breakfast burritos. At 3.25 each, you can't really go wrong. Their massive size, excellent chile sauce (mild or hot) and delicious tortillas make this a diet breaker about once a month. I always go for a sausage mild burrito, but their special (bacon, sausage and ham in addition to the regular eggs, potatoes, cheese, sauce) is such a porktastic feast that I find myself stealing a bite of a friends when they order it. The employees could not have been more polite or friendly, and calling in an order to-go is always easy, ten minutes is the longest wait I've ever been quoted (6 burritos to-go). They have a few tables, but most of their business is take out. Horchata is good, if a little sweeter than usual, but comes in a huge 32oz cup. Just be cautious of the liquor store next door, and drivers in the parking lot brown-bagging it.

Cheap? Check. Accessible? Check. Taste? Well, um, no. I've been here twice. First, to check it out. Second, because I was starving and I forgot about my first visit. With burritos being a craze, I was hoping this would be a great experience. It wasn't. The number one thing that stands out is all the cheese. It's not good cheese either, which makes the eating more difficult. Second time around I ordered one burrito featuring bacon. The bacon was chewy and contained too much fat for my taste. I'm a bacon fan, but I pulled the bacon out of this one to discard. The prices are reasonable. The wait sometimes seems long. The taste? Well, I'll remember not to return.

Finally stopped in...wish I hadn't. Told the guy I wanted two "cheap smothered burritos" to go. Guy charged me $14 bucks and some change for some half cooked hamburger in a flower tortilla. Wasn't impressed. Got home and took one bite. Me thinks not. I threw it in the trash. My dog wanted to eat it, but I wasn't sure it was worthy of her doggie bowl. Maybe I walked in at the wrong time. Nobody was there except a lady who told me it was her first time there too.

Had the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Really, really good. My friend picked it up, so I can't comment on the service, but the burrito was great!

Waited for 10 minutes for a plain breakfast burrito, they made a steak burrito and offered to let me pay the difference. After refusing and asking for a refund, they were able to open the register in a couple minutes. Do yourself a favor and go to Gomez Burrito. Even with the extra drive, your time cost will be a wash.

I've only had the breakfast burritos and they're not bad...not great either but solid and reasonably priced.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
