This is a great little greasy spoon for cheap, tasty breakfast. Love the raisin french toast!

One of the best breakfast in town. If your looking for a good old fashioned breakfast joint.... This is it! Low prices, good quality, ample portions. And fast. I LOVE THE HASHBROWNS! I have been coming here for 10 years. I have a pretty strict 3 strike policy, but this place has ALWAYS met my expectations. My favorite thing to get is the seasoned pro. It's a skillet with 3 eggs, hasbrowns, I get the Italian sausage, and cheese. And if your feeling saucy (no pun intended) get it smothered in chile. On a side note the hashbrowns are part of the reason I have coming back for the past 10 years. Golden brown on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. The waitresses are friendly and you can see the owners hanging out with a warm welcoming smile.

What an awful thing to start my day. Came here with hope of having a good breakfast because I already had a bad start before leaving home. The place was kinda stiff, not my kind of place but I guess I didn't have any choice that time. The egg benedicts and omelette was fine at fine but after I almost ate all on my plate. I felt really bad and I had to go to the bathroom. I just asked them what was in the food? They said it was a mistake that they have mistakenly served the a day old omelette just like that without any apologies. A big NO NO NO NO for me.

A pretty good spot for breakfast in south Denver. Good service, fast, and cooking was fine. Standard Diner, Cafe, Coffee Shop, nothing fancy but that's not a bad thing. The place is clean and simple and a sort of throw back to when places like this were common.

I suppose I am writing this review to offset the bad ones. Because I went there because I was on way to a meeting and wanted something quick to eat. I ordered a Denver omelet with pancakes. Personally, I got my server within 5 minutes and got my order in about ten minutes. This isn't a gourmet breakfast but the food left me satisfied and full . The prices are very cheap too. Quck staff and quick breakfast.

Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect $200 Eating here had to be one of the worst dining experiences I've had in recent memory. Just about everything was bad!! OK, let me at least point out the good stuff before I tear this place a new one. The menu is huge, the prices are low, and they serve both breakfast and lunch at any hour. Now that I have thoroughly covered the good angles, I am prepared to give you the skinny on this joint. The portions (food & drinks) are extremely small. Don't expect to get full with one entree, but please don't punish yourself by ordering two. I made this mistake and suffered for it. I ordered an omelet without cheese. The omelet was tragically small and loaded with cheese - inside and out. I told my server that I had asked for no cheese to which she responded, "All of our omelets come with cheese." I hate being that person that sends stuff back, so I ordered a chicken club sandwich on top of that. Again, the portions were small. The quality of the food was very poor, too. Double whammy! I can get past small portions and mediocre food, but I can't handle lousy service. My waitress was truly awful. I had ordered a hot tea when I first got there. I finished it quickly and put both my cup and the water pitcher to the side, expecting a refill. That never happened! As I was about to pay my tab, I finally just asked her for more tea. She quipped back, "Each tea bag costs a dollar and thirty-five cents." Are you kidding me? I've never seen a place do that! Still, she could have told me that early on as a preface to a refill offer. Come here only if you are a foodie masochist.

Sunday server took over 45 min to take order and is completely stressed out. Food is sub par.

This place is pretty decent if you're not looking for anything special and just want a bite. I had the signature breakfast and was not disappointed or left hungry.

I recently visited a friend in Denver and stayed the night nearby. As soon as we drove by this place we knew we had to try it. This place seemed to be filled with regulars, which is always a good sign. I ordered one of the breakfast skillets that has egg, chorizo, and hashbrowns. It's all thrown into a mini-skillet and served with tortillas. As I normally do, I requested the hashbrowns extra crispy, which was one of my favorite parts of the meal. Everyone at the table loved their meal. Our waitress was friendly, quick and attentive. I'd go back for sure!

The huevos rancheros was good, but the service was horrible. This is my second time coming in and once again it felt like they were just trying to kick us out the door the second we sat down. Our server was so uninterested in us that she just started walking away mid order.

This is a pretty A-OK diner in my book. It's a bit small for a diner, but with the counter there are probably a good 20 tables or so. I've been here before to meet friends, but didn't eat or partake in liquids on that occasion. This time, I was starving and in the hood, so it was on. (as much as anything can really be "on" with me) I sat at the counter (by myself :() ordered my breakfast sandwhich with coffee and was asked how I wanted my eggs. (I thought that was funny) The texas toast sandwhich had plenty of eggs and bacon, the hash browns were decently sized, coffee kept coming, and coming and coming. Overall, great service (to be expected from a diner) and decent food priced decently. I just noticed how boring that review is. Sorry.

Popped in here with a friend for a quick bite and the place was packed at 9:30 AM. We were greeted at the door, handed menus and told to sit wherever we like. We decided on the counter as there is something fun about sitting there - well for me anyway... I got a new menu item breakfast burrito with guac, scrambled eggs, thick cut bacon, hash browns and cheese. Being a wuss I got the chili on the side. It was tasty and I washed it down with a glass of milk. (I never drink milk at breakfast but it was staring at me from the cooler). My friend already ate breakfast so just got a cup of coffee - our bill came in just at $10 plus tip. This is definitely a no frills, cheap eats diner with friendly staff - I still don't mind being called sweetie or honey by the waitress - reminds of the diners back home.

Super reasonable and surprisingly tasty. I had a jalapeno chicken sandwhich, perfectly cooked with hand cut fries. THE service was prompt and did I mention its reasonable! HUGE MENU too, which always scares me (how can you do that many things well?) but it was good. Very very good.

This place is good for old fashion diner food , Never a wait and quick to refill your coffee. The waitress's are career and the food won't break the bank .

Cheap but at a price...

I am giving this restaurant 5 stars because I have been coming to the Breakfast Palace for nearly a decade and I've never spent more than 6 dollars or so on my food, and the chicken fried chicken breakfast is always heavenly. Yum, clouds of gravy on my tongue! It really is as good as it gets for the price.

This place was crowded when we walked in and seemed to have that friendly, "where-the-locals-go-on-sunday" kind of environment. Service was friendly and prompt. Unfortunately, the tables were sticky, the coffee was watered down and the food was below average. I had a tuna sandwich and my friend had the biscuits and gravy. Nothing was appealing or tasty.

still a good option! went in today and service was fast and friendly. breakfast rocked and their hot chocolate is delicious! had a breakfast burrito with beans and rice for $5.99! the coffee sucks, it always has but think the prices on the food make up for it. i just don't order the coffee.
