We were all packed up and our truck loaded and after a long days work, we decided to order a pizza as it was a quick and simple dinner for our last night in Denver. We had two friends helping us that day, so we ordered three large pizzas. One veggie, one pepperoni, one sausage. I had issues of getting the pizza down my throat as I was "sick" (x6 and hungover) from the drinking I had down the night before. Worst. Hangover. Of. My. Life. and I didn't even drink that much from what I remembered/what people told me. Just a friendly piece of advice. Never drink the night before you have to do something important. I did (on more than one occasion) and I regret it every time. So I didn't get to fully enjoy the pizza the first night as it felt like it was ripping my esophagus apart. The next however I munched on it during our long drive to California. I think I would have felt the same way about the pizza had I at it hot the day prior, but I felt it was just okay. It was very much a cheap pizza. You know the type of pizza that I am talking about (Dominos, Little Caesar's, etc) Nothing special about it, the ingredients were not the best you can get, but honestly, I didn't mind. It was simply something to munch on and it wasn't horrible. I would likely refrain from eating there again. Too many other good pizza places to waste on that. Sure I can't get those other good places to deliver where I lived, but they are well worth the drive. If you don't mind boring pizza, then you will have no problem ordering from here.

Try the crazy cheesy cheesesticks if you want an indulgence that's worth the calories. They certainly don't skimp on the cheese! I also enjoyed the Mediterranean pizza (Extra virgin olive oil, mozzarella & feta cheese, chicken breast, red onion, black & green olives, garlic, and tomatoes) on thin crust. Big props for their crispy thin crust that wasn't TOO thin. Just right. I had to subtract a star because my husband was not at all impressed with his pizza. He ordered the Full House pizza (sausage, pepperoni, ground beef, ham and extra cheese) because you know, he wouldn't want to risk contaminating his pizza with *vegetables* or anything remotely healthy like that. :) He ordered wings too. He wanted deep dish crust but they don't offer that at this time. He picked up our pizzas and said it was setup similar to Dominos. He worked at several pizza places in college, so he probably knows what he's talking about on that. I read on the website that the founder worked at Dominos. That explains a lot. It's much like Dominos but with better quality, in my opinion. Not gourmet or anything, but a good deal for delivery pizza if you were considering a standard pizza chain instead of a brick oven style pizza place. I'm happy to have tons of leftovers from today's order. I'd suggest ordering online for the coupons and deals. The prices are comparable to Pizza Hut, Pizza Inn, etc.

My first experience with Blackjack was the weekend I moved to Denver (August 2012) and it was great. I ordered a Santa Fe and thought it was a perfect mix of spicy and savory. The follow-up order not long afterward included a couple pints of ice cream. Pizza arrived, ice cream did not. This was remedied by the driver making a return trip. The pizza wasn't very good because the chicken tasted off -it had a sour, expired taste. Upon his return, the driver really didn't give the matter any interest when we told him about the pizza. We tossed the pizza and had ice cream for dinner. Believing this to be a one-time occurrence, my next order made me realize this particular Blackjack might have an unusually large quantity of employees who do a far better job getting baked than they do baking. The third order involved a phone call from the delivery person telling me he was standing outside my door and had been knocking for about 5 minutes. I opened the door but there was no driver in sight. Called him back and asked where he was. Turned out he wasn't even in my apartment complex at all. About 15 minutes later he arrived with a cold pizza that had so much grease the box was almost completely saturated. The pizza was also smashed, I'm guessing from the delivery person's driving skills matching his geographical abilities. Tonight we ordered The Natural (veggie) pizza, cheesy bread, and 2 pints of ice cream. Driver arrived with 2 pizzas: a meat lovers and a pepperoni. My son had to run out the door and catch him before he drove off to deliver our order to the wrong person. This concludes our dealings with Blackjack Pizza. There's a Pudge Brothers just up the road I believe will not have so much trouble getting orders right.

Just don't bother.... The pizza was terrible. the "bonless wings" were worse than the consistancy of a McNugget. overpriced and under quality.

BEST CHEESYBREAD STICKS I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME...!!!! Oh emm gee .. it was gooey garlicky goodness for sure. I usually order Pizza hut but I recvd a flyer on my door advertising March Madness deals and decided to check it out. The pizza was not bad.. I will be ordering again for the cheesebread!

Yes they do have awesome cheese sticks, also if you like toppping on your pizza they don't shortchange you like alot of the chain pizza places. Also when they deliver its really fast which is a good thing. The only thing I don't like is their location in the shopping area, its hard to get into and you can almost miss the shopping area. Other than that if you live around this area its decent pizza for its price if you want gormet pizza or whatever expensive pizza you like you know where to go

the young adult pizza elves that seem to run this location *always* do a great job. I'm vegetarian so always order the special pizzas but without meat. not a problem and I have yet to find a piece of chicken or pepperoni where it doesn't belong. instead they pile on the veggies and everything always tastes yummy and fresh. you can tell they use better ingredients than other pizza chains and it's always hot and ready when I come to pick up. Delivery was quick too the one time I tried it. Keep up the good work!

I order on grubhub pretty consistently from them. The Calzone is bomb if you're on a budget and the pizza is solid. The chicken wings were okay, and they'll definitely get my business again.

This location generally screws up the order, never delivers in the time frame quoted on the phone, and the food is usually lukewarm when it arrives. We started ordering from the Alameida location for these reasons.

Here is the deal: if you want cheap pizza with traditional frozen topping selections, this place is fine. The chicken wings were soggy. Why can't pizza places get chicken wings right, ever?! They did put on a lot of cheese, which I will never complain about too much cheese. I also like the garlic cheese bread. They deliver and have great deals. The pizza came in time and was hot.

This place is wonderful ! I honestly have nothing negative to say about it. The pizzas are delicious! Normally you see movies or shows with cheese just deliciously hanging off the pizza, wishing there was an actual pizza joint like it. Well, this is your place! I recommend you try their special pizzas as well, don't just stick to the regular. You also can't go wrong with their cinnamon bread! Yum! ;)

Although the pizza is usually awesome.. Delivery time is awful. It took over an hour and a half to get our pizza. After being quoted 45 minutes this is totally unacceptable and I doubt we we order again. This is the second time it has happened.
