Easy set up. Food was cooked just right. The basic beaver burger was amazing. Well done of course. Along with crisp seasoned fries. We go weekly to play pool and try different foods and drinks.

Most disgusting sewage smelling bathroom I've ever been in. No way I could eat food made here knowing that's where the cooks' hands have been - I post this hoping they will clean it up. So gross.

Eh. This place is pretty weak. We went after work and didn't feel like heading further south or north so we came, saw and did not enjoy as service was tuuuurible. Patio is essentially smokers corner and the specials were non existent.

My boyfriend and I live in the apartments next to here, so we finally decided to try it a few months ago. Since then we've been back weekly. Decent prices, small selection of beer but I am always happy with an Angry Orchard. The best part is really the food. The wings, boneless wings, and chicken tenders are DELICIOUS! As is everything else I've had- I got French toast and bacon one night and it was fantastic, even at midnight. You'd never expect such yummy food just by looking at this place. Very nice bartenders too!

I've been twice and the service was slow... one barkeep for the entire place. Haven't tried the food. Do they have it? Wasn't offered.

Sounds like a yeast infection... Cool little dive.

staff is a bit unfriendly and unatentive. You dont know who your server is. During games it is impossible to find a seat to sit in. I can tell you i only come here because it is close to home and inexpensive. Oh another thing warm beer...

$6 pitchers of Rolling Rock, how can you ever go wrong? Live music this evening, sometimes awesome karaoke, and games at tables some nights makes for great times on a budget. I've just downed my fourth glass of the pitcher of Rocks I've requested, and it's a wonderful night. I've still one more glass to go. The Angus Beef Sliders con Swiss y Freedom Fries sprinkled with truffle seasoning are the best in the land, that I've found in these last 9 months I have dwelt within these borders o' the Denver metro area. Just like that, I'm all finished and resting on my futon couch my wife bought, in my apartment beside Sonic(no alcohol, lame! But Sonic Slushy + Alc. from Central Park Liquors works on that budget). It's was a grand time had by all, even the guys dancing with the pool sticks. Good times, a pitcher of an awesome beer for an awesome price, sliders con freedom fries, all for under $15 in total, how can you ever go wrong?!

Came here to meet up with someone for poker night and despite the glaringly bright lighting, it's not such a bad dive bar. The wait staff was very friendly, the drinks were good and strong, and the prices are dive standard. I had a drunken blast and met some new people to boot. They offer an average size smoking patio in the back and the bathrooms are very clean and well stocked. There's also a crap ton of parking since they're located in a strip mall. It's also worth mentioning that the regular patrons seemed nice and social enough so don't be afraid to come by yourself. If you're in the area, you should give this place a try.

Beaver's Dam is walking distance from my friend's place, so we would go every time I visit Denver. Place is pretty relax and chill! Drinks aren't too expensive and they have a lot of drink specials. Pool tables and a single full stock bar. I went to watch the playoff game and there were plenty of TVs and sound for the main game. Only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 star is because the menu seems surprisingly limited eventho its a Bar AND Grill. Overall, Its a great place for drinks, fun, and hang out.

Typical dive bar, but it seems like you can't really escape them when you reside in Aurora. With that being said, I really like this place! The food is good and cheap. The wings are pretty good a lot of sauces to choose from. Green chili fries were also good. Triple decker club was quite tasty though a bit messy. All in all it's a cool place to simply hang out and watch the game with good company. Did I mention that each time the Broncos score a touchdown they hand out free Jell-O shots? Glad Tebow isn't our quarterback anymore ;)

I've been here a few times now. They are really close to Comrade Brewing so it's easy to grab a to go order before Trivia. I have yet to order anything but appetizers but I can say the appetizers are delicious. Typical hot and greasy bar food, perfect for munching, and pretty filling. Great price and fast service, but not so fast that I don't have time to finish a beer while I wait. ;-) And the beers they have on tap here are pretty decent. A good selection of a few craft beers, as well as the usual big name breweries. Eventually I will get around to ordering from the dinner menu, and I'm looking forward to it.

When my husband and I stopped here for happy hour, we both found ourselves constantly uttering the same thing. "It's not as good as America's" We used to frequent, and i mean FREQUENT, this place a few years ago when it was America's Bar & Grill. At first when we visited the Beaver Dam we were happily surprised to see that it still, for the most part, looked like America's. Unfortunately, that's about all that seemed familiar. The food used to be fabulous, now it's just meh. The specials used to make us stay hours past what we'd planned, but now, we finished our pitcher and were ready to go. I guess if you don't want to be compared to your predecessor, you should change the place a bit more. Instead, it feels like just a slightly different version of what was once there, and unfortunately, different isn't better.

I love this place! Its a hole in the wall that used to be called America's. The wings here are what you want. The original buffalo is absolutely tasty and the dry BBQ rub is surprisingly good as well if you don't like hot. If you want something different and awesome try a dozen; six with Viper sauce and six Sweet Siracha, you will not regret it whatsoever. On top of the wings, the beer specials are pretty nice: $2.00 pints on football days and $6 pitchers of PBR every day. At the very least give it a try on for a wing night, you won't regret it

They claim to have free range chicken on the menu but if you ask one of the employees if its legit they will shrug and tell you they don't even know whats on the menu. AWESOME!! Last I tried to order said chicken, the bartender fiercely tried to dissuade me from doing so saying the cook wouldn't want to because the kitchen is closing...IN 3 HOURS. Uhhh. Turns out cook will make me this chicken but they don't have mashed potatoes. Maybe I am picky but who the hell wants chicken w/o mashers?! Just sayin. I declined to order anything. Weep. They do have $6 pitcher of PBR at all times and pretty good green olives to go with it. The rest of the menu looks pretty nice and they have a build your own mac and cheese option but I wouldn't rely on them being able to make it for you or having the right ingredients. Sad face. Will probably come here again because my friend lives nearby and there is booze. Otterwise I'd pass.

The staff, food, and drinks are pretty good. Unfortunately the type of people that are always there suck. I've been there quite often because I live around the corner, and every single time there are creepy old guys degrading women. I am a 24 yr-old and I've never gone once without getting an offensive remark from the men there. For whatever reason this only happens at the Beaver... Too bad cuz I would be a regular otherwise. Ladies beware!

I came here last night to watch the Monday Night Football game. Granted, the local Broncos team was not playing, but I still expected a little bit of a larger crowd. There was free pool at their two billiards tables as well. They have plenty of TVs although I thought it was strange a few were tuned into TV shows without subtitles or audio. I don't think a local bar/grill would be a great destination to watch the season finale of Under the Dome. For food I ordered their cajun wings with an order of fries. You can definitely find cheaper wing places (10 wings for $8.99) but the quality was decent. The fries are good as well. They're not the bland, plain fries, they're steak fries. Overall I'd definitely come back here. It's a local neighborhood joint potentially within walking distance.

This place is AMAZING!! The Dam Hot flavored wings are the perfect mix of heat & flavor, plus I recommend the French Dip or Club sandwich, combine those with $2 bud/bud light draws during happy hour and $3 Southern Comfort all day every day!! Plus they have poker on Wednesday & Saturday nights at 8:00 & Sunday afternoons at 2:00, also they have 2 pool tables and a plethora of HDTV' to catch the game! BY FAR though the most outstanding award goes to their AWESOME bartending & wait staff, they may give me a hard time for ordering a CUBA LIBRE, but it all in good fun of course!!

Food was great. Although I witnessed a waitress serve her tables after smoking and chatting it up with customers outside and not washing her hands. Service was to laid back and not professional.

Unfortunately many of the previous reviews for this place are for the OLD name which was Americas. It is now called Beaver Dam...and damn do they have some good food. A group of friends and I spent the first 2 days of the NCAA tourney there and between us had most everything on their menu. Everything we tried was awesome! I had been to the old Americas before and the wings were pretty good. The wings now are GREAT. They have your traditional buffalo flavor, but they they take it to another level with some unique flavors such as Viper, Sweet Sriracha, etc. I actually took some of these home for my own cooking! Not only are the wings great, but the pulled pork sandwich was excellent. Ribs, burgers, and the best creamed corn I've ever eaten (side dish). I really couldn't find anything to complain about with anything I tried. Our wait staff was very friendly and took great care of us. They joined right in with our tournament basketball nonsense and made us feel welcome as long as we wanted to stay. I will surely be adding Beaver Dam to my regular bar/restaurant spots..and I live downtown! Well worth the drive!

I won't mince words here. This place is a dive bar. Don't go looking for gourmet food. But I have to say their wings are delicious. My favorite wing place in the city. Viper sauce cannot be beat.

I really liked the wings when it was Americas. Definitely went down hill after that but is a nice place to relax for a dive bar. The lighting is good and bartending service has always been good.

I'm really torn. The regulars I spoke to last night spoke of Beaver Dam with near reverence. The KJ who was on last night was stellar, even though the volume was a bit too loud for my taste. Wireless microphones, big singing area, several screens, great song selection, too.l However, I had some issues I'm struggling to get past. My friend ordered a gin and grapefruit. Waitress comes back, no grapefruit juice. OK. How about a gin martini with two olives? Again she returns to tell us sorry, no olives. Fine then, how about a Guinness? Great! She comes back sheepish, only to tell us they have Newcastle and Sam Adams, but no Guinness. OY. Finally, we land on Bailey's. Super. They have it. This back and forth went on for upwards of 20 minutes. ...and my friend was charged full price for her drink. Admittedly, I've been there now a total of ONE time, so maybe I should keep my trap shut. I'd say it is worth another visit.

Nice staff but food is so awful I'm surprised they're still in business. Chicken tenders were cold and under cooked, burgers were absolutely terrible. They need a real kitchen if they want to last, or stop serving food. Seriously gross and a total waste of money.

Went in during happy hour to try and get a beer and watch baseball. The bar was nearly empty, I counted exactly 5 other people actually sitting at the bar. The bartender didn't say anything to me when I sat down, and was preoccupied talking to someone. I didn't care that much at that point, as the game was on. A couple more minutes passed and I noticed no one was behind the bar anymore, and the bartender was nowhere in site. I got up and decided to get a drink where they wanted to serve me. The food and drink deals at the beaver dam are great, but the staff behind the bar needs some major help.

I love the Beaver Dam! My friend used to live in the apartments next door, so every now and then we'd step into some casual clothes and trek over to Beaver Dam for drinks. The bartenders have always been nice, and the regulars are pretty cool and fun to chat with. My favorite thing about this place is the karaoke - they have a great selection! Yes, this place is a dive, but by no means is it something to pass up (especially if you live close) Take this place for what it is, and don't come in if your expectations call for a different experience.

I have coming to this place for about 2 years, and have always had a good experience . Prices are a little high on a few food items, but the quality of the food is differently higher. I always feel welcome when I stop by, and the customers service has always been top notch. If you want a place where you can go stop by and drink some beers, feel welcome while your there, then this is your place.

WOW! I was pretty impressed by this bar. Its a small neighborhood bar that I stumbled upon. The staff was great, the drinks were plentiful (I had one stiff one), but I didn't get a chance to eat there. Based on my experience, I would definitely come back just to get the full experience! It's about 5-10 minutes from my job, so I will make it a point to try it out again. I ended up trying the wings here. They were pretty damn good! I must say I was pretty impressed (again). This place used to be the old America's and that's why I even entertained it. You can play pool, sit at the bar, watch TV (there are PLENTY) or if you want to just chill you can do that too. I will definitely be back and tell the home crowd about it. BTW... they revised their menu. You won't be disappointed.

Cheap but good food! Cheap but stiff drinks! Fun friendly staff! We were regulars here until we moved :( The staff remembered us and our drink orders and I was never disappointed with our food. We used to come during karaoke so that was always fun to watch. Little bar but cheap and fun.
