I love their pizza and the people that work there are nice, but it is always such a long wait. We ordered the pizza over the phone to avoid the long wait times for a pick up order. Then was told that there would be a half hour wait for the pickup which isn't bad at all. We decided to grab wine and appetizers at Berkshire nearby. We arrived about 40-45 minutes later to pick up our pizza and still waited another 20-25 minutes for our pizza :( Despite this one experience I do ENJOY their pizza and still continue to have pizza delivered, but just experience inconsistent wait times fairly often.

Waited 3 hours for my delivery order. I live 1.5 miles away. Called three times during the wait and was extremely polite - was told I would get a free order. I was also told I would get a phone call back when they figured out what the issue was. I was then charged like nothing had happened. Thanks, Anthony's! Lesson learned.

I love Anthony's for those days I don't want to cook! Their white pizza is great, uber cheesy, but definitely needs some add-ons for texture and flavor -- I like to add tomatoes and onions, sometimes bacon. Their canollis are good, especially considering even most Italian restaurants don't have them... they're never soggy and always full of goo -- yummy

Great pie! flavorful, cooked to order and good service to boot. Thanks Tony

Pizza here is pretty good. A bit heavy on grease but once you get past that the flavor is great and it's very consistent. The two stars are mostly about the service. The delivery just doesn't seem very well run. Last time we ordered pizza and a salad and the driver forgot the salad. Only after I chased down his car as he sped away did he let me know he forgot it. The salad then arrived an hour later. Tonight it took over two hours for delivery. They said the driver accidentally delivered to the wrong house and it would be the next pizza in the oven and the first stop for the driver. Still took 45 more minutes and arrived cold. Looking for other options next time.

Ordered a pizza, salad, and hot buffalo wings. The pizza was delicious! The Caesar salad was fresh and pretty good. The buffalo wings were awful :-( I'd even go as far as to say they are the worst buffalo wings I've ever had. They were soggy on the outside and didn't taste cooked enough. The 3 stars were for the pizza....the salad is rated a 2-3 and the wings are 0.

Trying to get good pizza in Stapleton is like trying to teach a cat to swim. There's so much about Anthony's that should be good but just isn't. Crust is reminiscent of cardboard and topping selection is weird. (No banana peppers? And you're really going to argue that green peppers are the same?) Delivery times vary, we've had them within 30 minutes and also more than an hour. So we're still ordering from them but in a "tallest midget" kind of way. Someone please open an awesome pizza place that delivers to Stapleton!

Chad T. and I continue to eat at Anthony's regularly. In fact, a week doesn't pass that we don't order Anthony's. I've been so impressed since my last review that I thought it was time for an update. Anthony's has been consistency delicious. The quality of the pizza has been outstanding. The crust is always perfect and the pizza cheesy. It's pretty wonderful NY style pizza. Furthermore, delivery is always fast and the pizza arrives hot. In a city where there aren't many pizza options, Anthony's is a solid choice. While it may be a chain, it is still delicious and I can't get enough of it. I highly recommend this location.

Good pizza. Service gets a little sketchy when busy but the staff are all very friendly and do their best.

It costs over $2 per topping if you get an 18" pizza. Considering the price, I expected the pizza to be loaded with the toppings I paid for, not the case; it may as well have been a cheese pizza. It tasted ok but was definitely not worth the price.

This is decent pizza. They are a little slow and a little pricey but the large is REALLY large. They also have great service, chatty but not overly so and when the messed up and let us pay for a tiramisu that they didn't have they comped us with two cheesecakes. As for delivery comments I noticed, stapleton is a relatively brand new (still building) little mini city within a city. I don't think it is quite google friendly. I would suggest they recruit hard amongst teenagers in that neighborhood or train outsiders not to rely on google. Although it seems crazy to deliver to someone who could walk the 8 blocks like I did to pick up the pizza, that is their job as a business so they should take the time to address it the best they can.

I really enjoyed the pizza here. I got a Sicilian with mushrooms and artichoke. My coworker got two Neopolitan slices with pepperoni. The place is very clean. I'll definitely be back again for another slice!

Used online ordering system. It's been and 1 1/2 hrs and still no food, I've called and the online system automatically switched my order to pick up. This is my first experience and I will not order from them again.

I prefer to make pizza at home but the Calazones at Anthony's are off the charts. Not only are they huge but you can feed a small family with these tasty treats. Thankfully there is an Anthony's in my neighborhood. :D

super convenient location in stapleton town center. parking can be a total nightmare, but i think worth the drama. we order our crust well done, helps avoid the mushy uncooked crust you sometimes get in the middle. I'd highly reccomend sausage and green olive. YUM! delivery claims about 45 minutes but i've had it take 1.5 hours before.

We live in Stapleton, so it's unfortunate that we'll never eat at Anthony's again. My husband really likes the pizza, although it's just okay to me. The cleanliness of this place is a deal breaker. The dining area was filthy last time we went, with food and debris on the tables and floor. The place wasn't that busy, so there is no excuse for the state of the eating area. The worst part is that there was a guy standing around the whole time we were there with a mop in his hand not cleaning anything. The place was always kind of dingy on previous visits, but this time was over the top. We go to Serioz in Lowry instead.

Should a pizza by the slice restaurant take 45 minutes to get 2 slices? My wife went to grab a couple slices for our hungry boys and they lost our order. When she complained they quickly scurried to fulfill the order. She took the box home only to find cold undercooked pizza. Shame on them. Will not EVER go back. Basil Docs all the way!!!

My husband and I went to Anthony's last night for a few slices of pizza before we went to a movie. The pizza was quite good, as I always expect to find at Anthony's. The main "body" of the pizza was awesome - gooey and delicious. The actual edges of the crust were just a little dry for my taste. We each ordered a small salad to accompany our pizza. I liked the salad, but it had a TON of cheese on it which felt like it was negating the healthy aspect of the veggies. That was my own fault, however, I will ask for no cheese (or something like 1/4 of the cheese) in the future. This particular location of Anthony's looks to get more delivery or pick-up orders than eat-ins, but the dining room is nice and clean so I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again.

Our "local" Anthony's is great for a quick, NY-style pizza fix. Very satisfying. Anthony's sells by the slice or in 12" and 18" pies with either thin (Neapolitan) or thick (Sicilian) crusts. They offer a variety of toppings and it's always a good sign when a pizza place offers garlic! Just a tip: This restaurant does a brisk business in Stapleton; If you are looking for delivery and live close by, consider opting for carry-out; you may save 30-45 minutes compared with delivery. It's also a good excuse to snag a new beer or wine at Grape Leaf right down the street. When we were brand new to Stapleton, we ordered the Sicilian pizza (with thick crust, like "loaf of bread" thick!) and while it was good, it "went to 11" with the bready crust. I think most people will be perfectly happy with the neapolitan. As a final note, Anthony's pepperoni is spicy. It is not molten (5 alarm) by any stretch, but people or kids accustomed to bland pepperoni served by most pizza places might find it a challenge (we happen to enjoy it).

Anthony's is a good place to get some pizza in Stapleton. I had one of the thick Sicilian slices which was incredibly tasty. I wanted to go back and get more. There was so much cheese. It was a very filling pizza slice. The restaurant interior was pretty nice, with lots of simple clean tables and a TV that was showing sports. During the summer I would imagine their outdoor seating is an attractive option. It looks right out into an open courtyard area. This is a place I'd like to go back to the next time I find myself in Denver.

The Gluten Free pie brings it! However, you do need to chat with the staff about proper toppings. I guess that the GF crust they use burns in about 10 mins, so chunky ingredients don't cook-Nor does the sausage that they actually cook atop their other pizzas (that has to taste incredible). As a celiac for 6.5 years I haven't had a good pizzeria pizza in years. Anthony's made it happen.

My wife and I are regulars at Anthony's. We love their pizzas. My only complaints are that they don't have feta cheese as an option and that when you order by the slice with toppings, sometimes the toppings are just set on the slice and warmed up rather than seeming like they were cooked with the pizza.

As a Stapleton resident, I have been ordering pizza from this location ever since I moved here 11 years ago. I am not sure if I was here before Anthony's, but that was the "go to" place. I have noticed over the past 6 -12 months that every pizza I have ordered has been wrong and under cooked. Even when I tell them that i would like it well done Only means it's almost cooked in the center. I finally called to complain that the "well done" pizza was almost cooked but also the everything had slid off the pizza and into the corner of the box. Usually the toppings that are wrong too. When I called and spoke to a manager, she said she was sorry this was still happening and she would offer me 40% off my next order when I had just spent almost $30 for a pizza. No thanks! It will be another 11 years before I order from that place again. So off to find another "go to" place! Any suggestions welcome!! Bye Bye Anthony's Poor Pizza!

Eh. Not bad. I grew up on the East coast and this is not authentic New York-style pizza. The crust and sauce are pretty good but something tastes off with their cheese. Super greasy too. I had a slice in the restaurant so not sure if ordering pickup would've been better. I do love me a Coke Freestyle machine, though! Bonus.

Extremely annoying website, business and employees. Went to the website to order delivery. Plugged in my address to see which location to call - which pulled up the "Stapleton" location as my closest store. Called to order the pizza. 45 minutes into waiting for our hour and a half delivery time they let us know that they do not deliver to our house. You would think that would be something you would tell someone when you call to place the order?? Instead of offering us a free pizza or offering to transfer our order to the location that does deliver to us the incompetent human that answers the phones told us we could come in and pick it up for a small discount. Thanks!!

Have been loyal customers for quite some time, almost weekly, but cannot support this business any longer after the rude, terrible service we received this evening. We live about 8 blocks from the location and the delivery driver called us asking where our home was, as he was 25 blocks past our home. When he finally arrived the pizza was cold, he did not have any change, and two slices of the pizza didn't even have any cheese on it. The girl on the phone was rude and made no effort to remedy the situation when we called to complain. For as much money as we spend at this establishment on as weekly basis, it would have been in their best interest to send a new pizza. Now we will take our business elsewhere.

Their pizza was extremely late (2hrs) and they did take care of it, but the taste was bland, dry, and they even brought the wrong type of pizza! We asked for Neapolitan but got the thick crust. This place should get their *ish together! Unless I'm super lazy, I won't be back.

I called to cater an event for my work asking about ordering for over 40 people. Having some with a gluten allergy, we thought it would be a perfect place! Well when I spoke with the guy, he told me that he would do gluten free pizza if it was a preference, but that it it was an allergy that he would not do it! He stated that the whole resturant was full of flour and he could not make any promises regarding the gluten free pizza not being contaminated! I was astonished by his statement being that they offer gluten free pizza for those whom love pizza but can't eat it anymore because of an allergy. I said why would you offer this if you are going to make this statement? He said because alot of people just have a preference for gluten free. Well needless to say I went with Fat Sully's pizza who was accominidating with providing us with gluten free pizza and it was amazing pizza! So if you are gluten allergic I would NOT suggest eating here.

Garlic bread was pretty good. That's about it. Took forever for delivery to arrive. They got our order wrong. My boyfriend ordered sauce less wings and he got hot ones. My baked ziti was not baked. It was penne pasta with some gross sauce on top. Yuck.

Anthony's Pizza really saved the day. I work for a non-profit and when our volunteers canceled due to weather, Anthony's was able to provide pizza for 50 people in just over an hour. They were really polite and helpful and definitely went the extra mile to make dinner happen! Thanks Anthony's!

Extremely rude staff. Being the manager of a pizza shop. I do have to say customer service is not the ideal here. Manager is yelling from the back of the kitchen "Either somebody answer that phone or disconnect it until we get caught up" both the cashier and who I'm assuming is the manager constantly had an attitude on the phone and every time they hung up they would slam the phone into the receiver. Extreme unprofessionalism and horrible customer service. Probably will never return here again.

I have been a long time Anthony's Pizza customer at this location. I had once given this place a 5 Star Rating on Google. In the past year or so the service & quality has gone down hill. Now there are still a couple good folks that work here, but they are not running the show. More than once I've ordered pizza with multiple toppings only to be told 5 min later they are out of a specific topping. It's taking longer to get orders and the quality has slipped. I've seen employee out back picking their nose and smoking at the same time. Tables are not being cleaned as often. Soda machine is always out of lemonade.

This place is so close to me and this is the first time I've ever been. Shame on me since I really enjoy pizza. Sam and I were coming off being pretty sick. Both with empty stomachs we were ready to fill em' back up again. Yummy pizza was just the ticket! What you need to know about Anthony's Pizza: 1. Servings by the slice 2. A couple TV's, stay and eat in 3. Very nice staff who give you time you need to order 4. Most Awesome Coke machine that could make you any flavor drink your heart desire. Do you want a grape diet coke - got it! This is pretty cool - you should check it out. 4. One slice of pizza is super duper filling (look at pics). If your not that hungry I only recommend one piece. Great Stapleton pizza joint. Solid pizza joint food for the masses.

The pizza is amazing. It's getting the pizza that can be so difficult. Twice I have tried to order online. Both times (3 weeks apart) I went through the entire process and at the very end the application failed! When I called they were not surprised even though they answered the phone by saying "we now have online ordering." Then I told the girl my address twice and gave her a phone number twice. I was ordering pizza for my parents so that we could have a date night. I got a text from my dad 2 hrs later stating that pizza hadn't come yet. When they called Anthony's, the girl had written the address AND the call back number down incorrectly. There seemed to be a low competence level overall. I don't want to use them again, but their pizza really is some of the best in Stapleton.

Called to see what their delivery area is cause I thought I might be out of their area. I asked how far north they delivered...."Um, I think we don't go any further than 28th Ave and then in Stapleton." Wow...well that sucks since your store is on 29th Ave. So you only deliver south of your store or you are just a giant idiot who has no clue. Pretty sure half of Stapleton lives North of 28th Ave.

To the heroic delivery driver who made it to my friend's house with a foot of snow outside: THANK YOU! Thank you for my yummy, thin crust pizza. Thanks for bringing that saucy number into our cabin fever world. The cheesy breadsticks were a nice touch.

IN-CREDIBLE pizza and calzones. Ordered your standard large cheese pie, along with a cheese and sausage calzone, and a spinach and cheese calzone. The pizza had the perfect thickness, the calzones had the perfect ratio of filling to dough. So yummy = 5 Stars!

I've given this place several chances because I live walking distance from it. Every time they have gotten the order wrong in some way except once. The one time they got it right, the pizza was bland, crust had no flavor or texture, and they put way too much flour on the bottom which just made it chalky. On to the service. Cold, rude, impatient. I guess if they are trying to create the "New York" attitude in their atmosphere, then mission accomplished. Every time I have been there I have been made to feel unwelcome and even when there was no one in line behind me I was rushed through my order and every question I asked was met with one-word answers. I have heard people say that if someone doesn't like their experience somewhere they won't say anything, they just won't come back. I had to say something this time.

Not all Anthony's are created equal. For some reason, I find this Stapleton location to be of lower quality than other locations. The dough is thicker and chewier than the Anthony's pizza we've come to love. It's hard to tell whether they use lower quality ingredients, have less experienced staff, or both. Although this location is the closest to where I live, I would rather drive farther and get a good Anthony's slice or pie from CO Blvd & 7th.

When it comes to pizza chains, Anthony's is near to top of the list. First and most important is the pizza, which is very tasty, not too greasy, and I love how they cut the toppings. I enjoy a good onion and roma tomato pizza, but most places really skimp on the onions or cut them so small that they vanish into the cheese. Anthony's does a nice rough cut, leaving large pieces that cover the whole slice. You definitely get your moneys worth, especially with the vegetables. The crust is the perfect thickness, though I tend to prefer a little bit crispier crust. To me, the crust at Two Fisted Marios is still the best I've had in Denver. The location in Stapleton is pretty convenient, though I have never actually eaten inside this Anthony's... only delivery. The last delivery was a bit slow, though it was Superbowl Sunday so I can forgive that... it must have been quite busy. For chain pizza, the price is a bit higher than most. We ordered a large neapolitan with 2 toppings and an order of wings, and it was $36 including a little more than 20% tip... which is a bit high for a pizza and some pretty small wings. It's definitely better than Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, and Dominos... though I probably order Papa Johns more due to much lower prices for a bit less quality, making it a better value most of the time. Though, when I'm craving a really good pizza for delivery, Anthony's is worth splurging for every now and then.

In a pinch this pizza is pretty good. i took away a star because a large, one-topping pie is 19 bucks. the crust was good, but given another day to proof, it would have been great. the sauce is a little salty. the cheese was good, and they have the confidence in their pizza not to overload it. the pepperoni was forgettable.

Nice local establishment. We tried white pizza, meatballs & a sausage on the side in marinara, small salad, regular & chocolate cannolis. The white pizza was like a calzone, without so much cheese. We like to dip it in the marinara. Pizza crust was thin, crispy, but not burnt. The salad was fresh & the dressings (italian & blue cheese) were good. Cannolis were full & shells stayed crispy, even to-go. We prefered the regular over the chocolate. We went back! We had salads & a couple slices (custom). All romaine lettuce. Blue cheese with chunks. Pizza quick & delicious, fresh ingredients. Cannolis to go, shells were crispy (not soggy) and well filled. Friendly staff, good attitudes & brought our order out to us. Cleared our plates quickly.

This location is in the heart of Stapleton on 29th. Lots of "urban" families in Stapleton and they love crappy food. Why else does Stapleton have the worse selection of restaurants, Anthony's included.

Excellent NY style pizza. Been here a few times for a quick slice. The slice is large, but maybe because of the gluten free dough, it's impossible to fold and pick it up when its hot out of the oven. The overall flavor is excellent... cant even tell that its gluton free, but good for them! And check out that Coke machine... so weird but you can make so many combinations of sugary goodness

I used to live right down the street from this place. It was very convenient to run to and grab a slice or two if I was too lazy to cook. It is nice that you can just order a slice and not a whole pie. The slices are Huge. I really liked the crust and selection of toppings.

My beau and I had pizza here on our visit and we absolutely loved it. We got a half sicilian and we ate the pizza for lunch the next day and had to throw away some. They have 2 styles, basically thin or thick crust. We only had the thick crust but we saw the thin and it also looked very tasty. The house salad is the traditional greens with the mozzarella, salami and olives and you really can't go wrong with that! We'd highly recommend this place and hope to see one soon in Seattle! The only thing we didn't care for was the 'tude' from the guy behind the counter...patronizing and when we asked if we could get our pizza slices cut in half (the pizza slices are the size of shoe boxes on the sicilian b/c it's a big square pizza) he basically tossed a pizza cutter on the counter and walked away. We'd still go back though!

Okay pizza. Salad is reminiscent of Wendy's. Eating there? The time I tried this I was pretty disappointed. There was no service after taking my order, the place seemed dingy in spite of it's relative newness, and a pet peeve of mine: plastic eating utensils. I haven't been too inclined to go back, since I am so fond of my other options.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Thanks Tony
(4)Josh C.
(2)Lily M.

(2)Kristy K.
Chad T. and I continue to eat at Anthony's regularly.

(3)Cheshire C.

Great NY style pizza...friendly staff...reasonable prices!
(4)Matt P.

(1)Lydia B.
Eh. Bonus.

It's a Tuesday afternoon. It's dead. I ordered 1 slice 20 minutes ago. I'm still sitting here waiting. Seriously?

Order an hour in advance since they always take forever, get to the store and they forgot to make half my order so I wait anyway... Last time here #overit
(1)Shannon S.

(5)Daniel H.
The girl at our hotel told us about Anthony's. . Decided to give it a try.. was huge! Good pizza! Delivery was quick too
(4)Andrew W.

(4)Steve C.
Staff is always gracious, and food is always tasty and consistent. The manager even comped me for my bill once because of a belligerent customer who kept hounding us. Very good people and consistently flavorful food.
(4)Ann W.
I'm hovering between 3 and 4 stars. Great salads. Decent pizza. Very friendly cashiers (have only done carry out). Overall, a nice option to have in the neighborhood.

(2)N K.
(1)Adrienne L.
To the heroic delivery driver who made it to my friend's house with a foot of snow outside: THANK YOU! Thank you for my yummy, thin crust pizza. Thanks for bringing that saucy number into our cabin fever world. The cheesy breadsticks were a nice touch.
(4)M C.
(5)Al S.

20 minute wait for overcooked/burnt/dry Sicilian pizza slice. No need to go back.

(1)Kyle H.

(2)Ks K.

(2)Mark M.
(4)Robin H.
I used to live right down the street from this place. It was very convenient to run to and grab a slice or two if I was too lazy to cook. It is nice that you can just order a slice and not a whole pie. The slices are Huge. I really liked the crust and selection of toppings.
(4)Amber E.
(4)Carrie R.
