Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

A year and a half later, I finally get my grubby fingers on the garlic cheese sticks. They were worth the wait. Kind of like delicious crunchy cheese pizza, but better. mMmMm. They have a good side salad. Lots of ranch. I got spaghetti and meatballs. I was kind of disappointed in the noodles and sauce. I got a big portion too so I could eat it later. I did that, and was still disappointed. It was busy though, and lots of people stopped by to say hi. I didn't know any of them, so I just sat around quietly for the heck of it. Also a great place to play Uno loudly and accuse each other of cheating.

Enjoyed a quck, delicious salad and canelloni lunch. Service was good and place was full for a Wednesday lunch

I've lived around here for 22 years and this place is NOT a true Italian restaurant. I'm a snob when it comes to Italian food (I grew up in Rhode Island) because I've had the best in the Italian neighborhoods where family restaurants have been cooking for 3-4 generations. This is NOT real Italian food; I think they got their menu and recipes from some articles out of Sunset Magazine. There are no wops in the kitchen as far as I can tell. "White Pizza"? Cardinal Sin.

I eat dinner at Daveto's when I'm in town. I usually don't have pizza, I have one of the Italian dishes and I always get salad or something to resemble a vegetable. The calzones are good also. The food here is reliable, good but not gourmet, and the service is usually fast but I never drink and don't even know if they have a bar service. Daveto's is unremarkable because there isn't anything to complain about. By that standard Daveto's is great.

I'm pretty sure this is the only Italian option in town if you don't count Pizza Hut. I grew up in Chicago and Pittsburgh which are loaded with great affordable Italian restaurants, just like almost any big city east of the Mississippi. I've never tried the Mexican or Italian/Mexican blend dishes, but the lasagna was decent, not great, and filling. I know people who travel all the way from Ouray to eat here, but I can't figure out why. The atmosphere is very down home diner, no tablecloths and paper napkins, but they do serve wine by the glass. This is not a good date place, it's noisy, busy and the tables are very close to each other.

As one of the cleanest restaurants in Delta, Davetos is a common place you can find me dining. The staff is friendly and the food is always delicious. I think the only bad thing I can say about Davetos is their wine selection stays the same and doesn't have much variety.

Great food at a fair price. The food surprised me for quality and selection. Very friendly staff. Stop in and enjoy.

We arrived in the heat of the rush, stood waiting for acknowledgement for at least 2 min. Finally seated, food is average. I ordered a special, Ravioli stuffed w portobello mushrooms in Alfredo sauce w spinach. Said walnuts would be sprinkled but actually was pecans. Maybe they ran out. Not horrible. Husband drank a beer, took many visits to be asked if he wanted another. Finishing our plates, asked if we wanted the check. Still eating. That's not very nice but again not horrible. If you've never had Italian it's tasty & cheesy with lots of average Americanized versions of Italian food. Not even a Italian wine. But hey it's better than Wendy's.

Davetos is a local favorite. Best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at. Their spaghetti, fettuccini alfredo, and Italian nachos are the best!

We don't usually leave reviews, but thought we needed to give a" shout out" to our now favorite waitress at Davetos. .. Cassie! Wife and I as well as another couple from south Carolina were here on Sat. Cassie was AMAZING!!! she made us laugh and feel at home as well as providing us with a detailed guide through the confounding menu. Our wives agreed that she was cute as could be and has a smile like no other!! We had the best visit that we have ever had, the food was delicious as well... we all agreed that the garlic pizza strips and the stuffed mushrooms were" to die for", at the suggestion of our server!!! Will definitely be back!! p.s. just for the record, we were in last October and had a horrible experience, but decided to give them one more try... glad we did! But if Cassie isn't there, don't know if we will stay....

As far as restaurants go, Daveto's (pronounced Day - Vee - Toze) is the pride and joy of Delta, and for good reason. For many years they have been a local mainstay, enjoying strong local support in it's tight quarters. Then came a much-needed expansion. Shortly after that, this quaint little kitchen changed hands, ushering in a new look and feel. While they are not to be considered "Fine Dining', they do a great job filling their niche as a step above mid-level family Italian (and Mexican). You will find the dining room decore to provide far more than simply down-home diner feel, yet there are some lingering elements of the older ways. The walls are a rich wine color, accented nicely with congruent hangings, murals, relics, and lighting. The musical selection was thoughtfully chosen to exclude the common, vulgar, and over-used pieces of classic rock and Blues that litter and homogenize nearly every other establishment in the region. Rather your digestions is aided by instrumental Italian classics. Their service is always attentive, friendly and professional. That said, it's wise to consider that, during the lunch and dinner rush, you are not the only patron, so a refill of your iced tea may take longer than otherwise expected. While I haven't come close to trying everything on their menu, everything I have tried is above average. The salads are very fresh, though not anything out of the ordinary; their pastas and sauce satisfy any cravings for Italiano, their sandwiches rival anything else in town, and their Mexican items are what you would expect at any one of the other 3 south-of-the-boarder restaurants within walking distance. Overall, Daveto's provides the best experience, atmosphere, and food within a 20 mile radius of it. It is advised that the reader confirm this review with a visit.

I was skeptical about a place serving a Mexican calzone, but it was actually quite tasty. I had a more traditional sausage calzone, which was also very good. I also enjoyed the cheesy bread (which had jalapenos). Mexican and Italian flavors working together so beautifully perhaps trying to teach us a lesson racial harmony harmony.

A busy place at lunch time, so get there about 11:30 to save some time standing around. The food is good, and suprisingly it's both Italian and Mexican food. The white pizza is great, and the green chile is good but not hot enough for me. Service is usually good, but not great, mostly drinks don't get filled quickly enough. All in all a great place to eat lunch.
