What a unexpected delicious surprise!!! Just driving through and found this place with amazing food!! My quiche was the best I've ever had in my life! Standard decor for small town restaurant, relaxed vibe. Very polite staff. Try it out!!

This place is a gem. I might expect a restaurant with food like this in Denver, or perhaps a resort town like Steamboat Springs. I sure didn't expect one like this here. The croissants I had were among the most deliciously freshly prepared I have ever tasted. The food here is authentic, I saw some amazing dishes getting served to other customers. Seriously, try this place out. Set aside about 45 minutes to wait for your food, but it's worth it as it's wonderfully prepared. [edit] So on 11/11 my wife and I came here for a dinner date. I ordered a dish of duck and she ordered a salmon dish. The duck was very good, and among the best duck I've had. My plate came with sweet peppers, a salad, and a potato. My wife ordered a goat cheese stuffed salmon dish that had a spinach pesto sauce around it that also had salad and potatoes. I mentioned my duck was very good, but the salmon my wife ordered was something incredible. I can honestly say that I may have just tasted the best salmon dish in my entire life. I have eaten at some rather fancy and highly reputable restaurants in SanFrancisco, Seattle, Munich, Berlin, London, New York City, and Denver. I can say confidently that this place has prepared some of the finest salmon I have ever eaten anywhere, domestically or internationally. I implore you not to take my word for it but simply try it, I recognized some guests before we left that also had just eaten salmon and we all concurred: among the finest we've ever seen. I just don't know any other way to put it. This restaurant existing here of this caliber of food may seem like an anomaly, but I'm not going to complain or try to figure it out. I'm thankful they're here and I hope they stay a long long time.

As the cliché goes, do not judge a book by its cover. This is an amazing find virtually in the middle of nowhere. I've driven past this place several times thinking it was just a BBQ joint with an ironic name. It's not, this really is a legitimate French Bistro. Amazingly fresh made to order food. Extensive menu with very reasonable prices. You need to stop here it give a try, you will not be disappointed. If you are, then go Taco Bell where you belong!

What a delightful food experience! Everything is worth the time in preparation. Service was on a as needed basis and was concise. Lovely waitress who chuckled in unison with us over the language barrier/attempt. Definitely left having tried a little of everything; from appetizer to dessert. Would highly recommend.

I travel eleven western USA States for business for over the past twenty five years to include dining in restaurants of most every city and town in California for over the past fifty one years. My friend's say I could highly qualify as a restaurant food critic. I have dined at this restaurant for the last two consecutive evenings and I look forward in doing so again this evening. The food is outstanding, so enjoyable that I will rate it as one of the top two restaurants I've ever dined with, if you fail to dine there yourself, it will truly become your loss, enjoy.

Totally unexpected greatness. Fantastic food prepared by French family, beautifully presented, very reasonably priced...who could ask for more? Don't let outside appearance fool you! Interior is rustic/eclectic but very clean. Family kids serve from the extensive menu ....and open for breakfast and lunch as well. Had quiche and wife had shrimp salad- both unique and excellent and only about $10... half what you would pay in big city. Recommending to all my Steamboat friends.
