Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This place is very simple, and very good. Authentic Mexican with an American twist. The best marguertias. Friday night date night is sooo real here. The staff is very warm and enviting. The kitchen is amazingly quick and true. I've spent hours here with friends, and have honestly been in, eaten and gone in 15 minutes flat when I've been in a rush - either way, the staff is great. They are a stones' throw from the new (garish) Dick's Sporting Goods Park. I eat here a few times a month.

This is hands down a truly authentic Mexican food restaurant. I come here every so often and came across this place by accident some years ago. With that said, the food is still very consistent in flavor and amount of serving. Their salsa is great and spicy and the service is good. I've never had a problem using coupons from rest.com here either. Very good place, highly recommended.

If I could give less than a star I would. A CO worker and I ordered Tortas to go for lunch and the bread was MOLDY on both of them. Upon return to show them the moldy bread they argued with me about it being mold or not (it was green). The lady at the register then told me "it's not mold but whatever, what do you want me to do about it". I've never had such bad customer service anywhere I've eaten.

Good Mexican food. Excellent table salsa and the salsas that are served on or with the meals are terrific. Great rice and beans. Friendly, on point service. Reasonable prices. Full bar. Lunch, dinner or breakfast can't go wrong. Recommended.

Was a regular years ago, went in few weeks back for the first time in probably 4 years, still the same old little dive looking place, the inside had been redone a bit, but I swear the food was better than I remember!! Had a smothered burrito deluxe and a cheese enchilada and had I had more room I could have ate another burrito or two!!! Same old friendly staff from years ago, service was fast!!

This place is nothing special. I came in here a couple times with some girls from work who really enjoy the place, but I just thought it was alright.. nothing great! I've had the enchiladas a couple times and the tacos. Both of which were very tasty, and very affordable for lunch. I enjoyed them, but like I said, I've definitely had better Mexican food elsewhere. It's very simple here, a smaller scale, possibly family run place, that definitely has its regulars. The food is flavorful, and the servers are really nice. I really haven't had a bad experience here. I do have to say, though, their salsa is pretty damn great!

This place is pretty much a dive. Not a horrible dive, but a dive. The food was OK but nothing particularly stood out. Service was very inattentive, possibly as it was midweek in the dining room and very slow--there was only 1 other table there. Had tacos aborado which were OK tasting, but meat was rather fatty. Not somewhere I will return.
