Decent enough. If you're in this area and want a sandwich, you're probably best off eating here. I'm torn between 3-4 stars here, but rounding up. One negative is that I asked if they had GF options for my wife and they said, "that's a dirty word around here." This is Colorado, man, not New Orleans. GF is pretty mainstream, so they should consider that.

Initially, I loved this place, prices were right and everything tasted pretty good. I loved how cozy it is inside and the decor. Since it's so close to my school and affordable compared to campus food, I come here every now and then. Usually between classes or after. Customer service is usually really good. Came in today and left with mixed feelings. The tables were extremely dirty I had to walk past the third table by the window until I found a table that didn't have crumbs all over it. I was filling my coffee and their dispenser is very sloppy. Not a steady stream of coffee. Kept sloshing out of my cup and onto the counter or me. Got the salmon bagel for the first time while my mom got a plain bagel and some soup. We both got cookies since we had a deal for $10 off of $20. Cashier looked miserable, like he was going to die but the guy helping me pick a bagel was really nice. I usually have their blueberry bagels and already know they stick way too much creme cheese in them. Hence, I do it myself. The salmon bagel was like eating a big mac with the way it was stuffed with veggies and creme cheese. Lots of juice dripping out. Bread ended up very soggy and everything blended together, pretty gross tasting. Sugar cookie was the weirdest sugar cookie I have ever tasted, definitely no distinct sugar cookie taste but better than my mom's chocolate chip cookie. She let me try her cookie and it was way too sweet to finish. Soup wasn't great either. Not sure if I'd come back here for anything more than coffee and a simple bagel. Nothing in here other than the bagels are really that tasty and I never knew a eatery could get so dirty!

Local bagel shop. Sandwiches were a tad pricey ($7) for what you get - a bagel, toasted (or in some cases nuked!) with a few slices of meat and cheese. Coffee was weak - really so weak that once i added the cream it looked light dirty water.

I came here on a Monday morning around 8am. I was staying at the Doubletree hotel, which is right across the street. I got a multigrain bagel sandwich with egg and ham, and a latte. My order was ready quickly and the prices were reasonable. On Mondays, there is a 20% military discount, and there were lots of military professionals taking advantage of their discount. Definitely a good breakfast option, especially when staying at the Doubletree.

Great bagels! Fresh made right there and the only place in CO Springs that I have found with toppings on both sides. Now that I've Found them no more Einstein or Safeway bagels. I buy them by the bakers dozen, slice them and freeze them. Pop them in the toaster for 5 minutes and I'm good-to-go. Great lox and bagels breakfast and good coffee.

My coffee wasn't fresh. My bagel sandwich was ok. The staff weren't as upbeat or as welcoming.

Bagels are good, the rating is towards the grumpy taller older gentleman that works there. I believe he may be the owner. I have been here several times and usually he is the one working the register. Every time I have been there he has looked miserable, and very cold to the employees and the customers. Never a smile, always just the grumpy, I hate my job look/attitude. After receiving poor service here from him in the past I thought I would give it one more shot last week and went in on Friday. I walk in to the shop, and he greets me with "We are closed today!" and he said it with an attitude like I should already know they were closed. There was no closed sign up anywhere and the front door was unlocked. I will not shop here again. My review is solely based on this one employee. The other employees that usually take the order are all very nice.

Delicious bagels, great sandwiches. This place has great breakfast and lunch food (or if you're like me - breakfast for lunch).

Three words. French Toast Bagel. I have had other bagels claiming to be such a thing, but never executed to this level of quality. As noted in other reviews, I love bagels. I also love independent bagel shops. Olde World is one of the better ones I have ever been in. Bagels are clearly made on site, fresh every day. And they are very good. The space is generally well laid out, with bar-style seating, regular tables, and comfy chairs near the fireplace. The one layout downside is actually the cashier stand. It is kind of tucked into a corner, next to the restrooms, and across from the drinks (cooler, soda fountain, and coffee urns). This results in some congestion between those trying to check out, those waiting for their orders to come up, those trying to go to the restrooms, and those trying to get their drinks. 2 bagels w/ cream cheese + coffee + $7.00

You have to ask yourself, how many times do I need to repeat my order? Then to then receive the wrong order. I think this place needs a little help in the area of customer service. Love the food.

The bagels were delicious and they have a good selection of Solar Roast Coffee. Servers weren't the most helpful to a new-comer from out-of-state. Good spot if you're in the area though.

I was told they "don't do these things" when showing my yelp check in discount. The manager later gave me my dollar. The only reason why i showed up, was because they were on yelp. Then when i got my order home to the kids and wife - they had left out part of my order. I wont be returning. Poor service.

Went there last week and i always thought this place was nice however that time the owner was taking orders. I don't know if he was having a bad day or what but he was super unfriendly cold and just rude in my opinion. He looked totally pissed and we sure felt it. I almost felt like going elsewhere for my quick breakfast but not enough time to waste..... Probably wont return due to the owners attitude that day. Im not giving my money to people with bad attitudes. Too bad as the other people there are usually friendly and chill.

We grabbed a couple bagels here during a roadtrip, and they were easily the best two bagels we've ever eaten. We ordered two Everything bagels -- one with chive cream cheese, and one with garlic & herb cream cheese. The bagels were thick and chewy, which was great, but the super-unique part about them was that the seeds coated the entire bagel -- top and bottom -- unlike just about every single other bagel I've ever had in my life. A couple more "pluses": they were very generous with the cream cheese; the herb & garlic cream cheese was exceptionally flavorful, with visible pieces of chopped-up garlic; and the service was very, very quick, even with a ton of customers ahead of us. We'll be back!

This place is my Sunday ritual! I love the western eggwiches and the atmosphere! I have always had great customer service! I was reading some of the reviews and some people can be quite ridiculous. I understand why the owner offers military discounts to active duty-- this whole city is military something! And for the lady writing the previous review, you need to get over yourself. You're not the veteran and you didn't do 3 tours to anywhere!! Sorry you didn't get your $2.00 off! #ridiculouspeople

We've visited each of the past 2 weekends to purchase bagels for home. The owner pulled our first order and we chatted for a while. He couldn't have been more pleasant. Yesterday a young lady served us and was delightful and helpful. Best of all - the bagels are ASTOUNDING! The "toppings" such as onions entirely cover both the top and bottom of the bagel, unlike most other bagels. The consistency is absolutely perfect - by far the best bagels I've put in my mouth since I left New York City over 50 years ago. If you're looking for bagels, this is THE place to go.
The southwest is delicious, always on everything bagel! Jalapeño bagels are very plain, not a lot of taste

We've been going to Einstein bagels for a while and lately when we go at 12 or 1 pm they are always out. So my boyfriend and I looked for someplace else to get a bagel and fell in love with everything about this place.

This is a true New York bagel! The rest are just round bread with a whole in the middle. A true bagel is boiled before baking that's were the you get the proper "skin" that gives the slight crisp outside and chewy inside. The lox was great quality and flavor. I had tge the toasted everything bagel with lox, cream cheese, tomato onion and asked for sliced cucumbers on it (my fav) ... Best I've had in many states outside of New York. I'm definitely going back! And service was great!

Best bagel place I have ever been to. Everything is always so fresh and the staff is super friendly and fun. They have a window where you can watch bagels being made, it's so cool to be able to see the process! They have a great menu and crafty flavors. I will definitely be back here many times.

I went there this morning because I was craving bagels. I grabbed a half dozen bagels while I was there. There were a couple things I observed, which is why I'm doing the 3 stars... 1. The front of the bagel shop is rather chaotic. When I got there it was decently busy and I was trying to get into line to get food and there were several things going on. First of all it wasn't abundantly clear who was taking orders and how that system should be working, and worst, who was next in line. I think some kind of a path or roped system would be more helpful than just a sign that says "order here". 2. The quality of food - It's been a while since I've eaten here, but things are about how I remember them. The bagels seemed pretty fresh. I didn't eat until I got home, but here's what I think about them. They have a "crisp" to them, but it's not the typical bagel crust. It seems to be more of a "I baked them a little too long" kind of crust. After toasting it and putting cream cheese on, it was still pretty decent though. Overall, it was a pretty good experience, but I still miss my east coast bagels.

Service was fine, the guy behind the counter was a sweetheart. Bagel was decent.. My beef is that I ordered chive cream cheese and got it home to find it loaded with scallions. Not the same thing, folks. It kind of ruined the whole thing for me since I'm not a fan at all of scallions and now everything smells like onions. :(

Went late in the morn on a Sunday. They were out of about half if their bagels. I ended up with a jalapeño and cheddar bagel and my husband got a plain. We also go half a dozen assorted to go. They were out of veg cream cheese so I got sun dried tomato and plain. The service was disappointing, I feel like it was a nuisance to ask questions, he looked at me as if I didn't speak English, it was slightly uncomfortable. The bagels and cream cheese were all good, not great, especially when you considered the price point. Honestly, I prefer both panera and Einstein when it comes to the bagels and cream cheese. And, personally I try to avoid chains as much as possible. I'm also a catering chef and we opt for the chain bagels vs this company :(. I would love to give this place more business but they don't seem to want it. Btw, I rounded up from a 2.5.

I had the Olympian and it was just ok. I thought it was going to be amazing because I love ham salami and pepperoni. But I was wrong. I was barely able to taste the vinaigrette because the peppers the put on it was so over powering. But they did however have some amazing honey and walnut cream cheese.

They are so delicious. Go here every weekend and we are not disappointed. The lox are awesome, as are the egg sandwiches. And the cinnamon rolls are the best in town.

Very enjoyable breakfast. I had a whole grain bagel with eggs, cheese, and bacon. The bagel was made there in the store and very delicious. The eggs were just okay, and I would have liked more bacon. The coffee was okay, but no other choice besides a Styrofoam cup. I hate Styrofoam cups, they ruin the taste of the coffee. A nice mug could have moved this joint to a 5. I will come back for more breakfast though!

If you seek a great bagel in Colorado, seek no further. The bagels are always fresh and the variety is great. They have a great selection of sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. However, my favorite is the cinnamon sugar bagel with butter. The staff is great, helpful and take extra care to make sure your bagel is how you like it. In my situation, they always make sure they toast my favorite bagel in a different toaster so as not to burn it. I do select other bagels on my visits (which have all been great) and is a great place to pickup a bakers dozen with a couple of their cream cheeses on the way to work.

Literally the best bagel place ever ! Me and my coworkers come here almost everyday and there always so fast to help you out I am in and out within the first 5 minutes and during that time atleast two other workers have asked if I've been helped ! I would really refer this place to anyone who loves bagels and on a time crunch :)

Great, fresh salads and yummy bagels. We were in a hurry to find a lunch spot during a lacrosse tourney and it's located next to subway. So we gave this a try and we were extremely happy. Super friendly service. I ordered a salad with fresh greens and eggs and my son ordered two bagels and it came with lots of cream cheese.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Oldeworld Bagel has the best bagels in Colorado. There has not been anything I have tried here that I didn't like. My favorite bagel is the everything bagel with spinach and artichoke cream cheese. Their lox and cream cheese is also yummy. We have been going here for years and will continue to do so.

This is my favorite lunch place in the Springs. Part of it is my nostalgia for a place where I grew up (Oklahoma) and part of it is just quality, fresh food. I've eaten here only 2 or 3 times because we live up north. If I lived closer I'd eat here all the time. The smoked salmon bagel is awesome anytime and I love it for breakfast. I just had the Smokey Joe which was delicious. They offer nice espresso drinks and even some really interesting soft drink alternatives. Stop in and give this place a try. The bagles are good. The toppings are fresh and interesting. What more could you want from a bagel place. Just the tip - try my all time favorite staple at a bagel shop: Ham and cream cheese on an everything bagel. You can dress it up with lettuce, tomatoe and onion if you want, but you don't have to. It's not on many menus, but it should be. Basic and delicious.

Don't get me wrong, the bagels and veggie cream cheese are the best in town, and they remind me of the bagels I got while growing up in New England, but, and this is a big but, their staff are often rude and slow. This place definitely hires a "type" of people who are obviously not good at customer service. It's such a shame. Even their amazing bagels can't save them from the terrible way their staff treats its customers. If I wanted to be judged by hipsters while out and about, I'd go sit outside a Hollister.

I came here to study on a Saturday morning because the library was not open yet. What a great find! My sesame bagel was delicious with sesame seeds on both sides of the bagel. Very nice! The cream cheese was light and fluffy and smothered generously on my bagel. The decaf coffee was okay and refillable. I spent two hours there studying and using their free WiFi. Come with a fully charged laptop. Outlets are scarce.

Ordered: everything bagel with egg and cheese, chocolate chip bagel with French vanilla cream cheese, and a pure empower mint Yerba mate for about 8 dollars. Food: Pros: everything bagel was truly covered! I really enjoyed that. Decent bagel, good for the Area but any east coast bagel place could blow them out of the water. Chocolate chip bagel ( I've only encountered this is Colorado and I have consumed a fair share of bagels!) with French vanilla cream cheese was incredible! The proportion of cream cheese to bagel was perfect and their cream cheese has a nice tang to it. The bagel was perfectly toasty not too soft not too crunchy. Chocolate chips were in the right proportion to not overpower the bagel. Ambience:they have lots of seating from seatibg at the coffee bar, tables for groups, solo tables next to large windows and leather couches that are quite comfy. Large windows take up 1/2 of the walls in this place, lots of natural light. The wall that seperates the seating area from the kitchen is all windows, which allows the customer to see bagels being made. They have what looks like a gas powered fireplace (not on when I was there) On the non window walls they have poorly hung art work that looks like it was bought at goodwill or was mass produced.. They have one tv from the late 90's early 00's. it's one d those that puts out that annoyingly high pitch sounds that constantly buzzes in your ear when it's on. Lots of potential for a cool hangout place that is being under utilized. Cleaniness: the place is in dire need of cleaning, tables were covered in crumbs so were the leather couches. The windows into the kitchen would be cool if you could see past the the hands from kids and spectators, there was haze on them too, which only comes from not cleaning the windows daily. The floor has been neglected, needs sweeping, numerous moppings, and a good waxing. I came in at 9:30 am on a Friday and their was 3 employees working the counter, 2 of which were complaining about work hours. One of them could easily had done a rotation through cleaning up after the morning rush. Not once during my hour here did I see an employee attempt to clean anything. When I worked at Starbucks with less staff during a rush we still Managed to keep the place spotless and inviting to our customers Lighting at the front counter seemed dark and unappealing. They used plastic trays and Styrofoam plates. Totally unacceptable, invest in real plates. For the price of the food, real plates are expected. Facilities to wash plates is obviously available with a full bakery within the same store. The friendly factor: the only employee who had what seemed liked an ounce of friendliness and customer service was the barista running the espresso bar. The male employee who took my order had a permanent scowl on his face and body language that made no attempt I hide his not wanting to be there. Instantly made me feel uncomfortable. The two female employees were too busy talking to each other versus making sure the customer was taken care of. If I was the owner/manager I would overhaul the duties expected during the shift, train the emloyees on proper customer service. I would also ensure that one senior/responsible employee act as a shift leader during each shift to take charge. With a good overhaul, modernization and some tweaking to the employee guidelines and expectations this place could go from being just ok to amazing. I will come back to use their sitting area, free wifi and the occasional bagel, but I won't be making it a regular hangout or recommend it to friends until some things are improved/changed.

Oh, this place could be amazing. But they really need to work on their service. If I was reviewing based on the bagels alone, it would easily be a 4 star review. The service was so bad it literally knocks off 2 stars. We stopped in on a Sunday morning around 9 am. There was a line of people at the counter. 2 guys and a girl were working behind the counter. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason to who they waited on when, or what each of the employees was working on. I realized after standing there for a bit and finally ordering, that the line of people was simply waiting for someone to ring up their orders so they could take their food and eat. I watched one couple who had been standing there for quite awhile actually grab their breakfast sandwiches from the counter and declare they were going to eat them before they got any colder and they would pay after they ate. At one point, 2 people were making coffee, 2 people were making bagels, and no one was ringing anyone up. There had to be 8 - 10 people in line waiting to pay for their orders and order after order just lined up on the counter - most of them getting cold. My intention when I walked in had been to get a latte, but after realizing it would likely take a good 20 minutes to actually get the latte I decided to forget that idea. It was just a really weird situation - they weren't super busy. 3 employees should have been able to easily handle the people in line in an orderly fashion. In addition, 2 of the 3 employees were incredibly rude. Come to find out the girl was being rude, b/c she was trying desperately to get out the door for a cigarette. We saw her outside as we were leaving. And as she's outside smoking, the chaos continues inside. Someone needs to whip this place into shape. The upside - AWESOME BAGELS!

Tomato and cream cheese on a salt bagel is my favorite, but this place has incredible bagels all around. Let me just say that I grew up in the northern part of New Jersey, where there seems to be a great bagel shop on every corner, so I'm not fooled by the tasteless baked balls of dough other places want to call bagels.

Solid Bagels with many assorted choices. On my last visit I was particularly fond of the "french toast" bagel Very tasty especially considering I prefer savory bagels like the everything bagel. If you in the mood for a bagel Olde World will not let you down.

Their breakfast sandwitches are SOOO GOOD! Best in town! The Service could use a little work. But I think the couple times we have gone there they have just hired someone new, we have all been there on the first day of work.

We've been coming here for years. Bagels are made from scratch. I will sometimes get a quish (which is good) or a bagel sandwich (very good). It is an extremely comfortable place with a fireplace and couches as well as tables. In the morning, quiet jazz music is played. Plus, when you frequent this excellent establishment you are supporting a local business.

This review is based on lunch: forget the bland Subway next door and go here for a unique choice of sandwiches, served on their bagels.

I love this place. In fact, I'm hungry right now and craving a bagel and coffee from Oldeworld. Instead of heading down there I'm torturing myself by writing a review. YEAH. This place has everything you need for breakfast and lunch. They make their bagels on-site daily (and sell day-old bagels on the cheap) and have a fantastic set-up including standard tables and comfy couches/fireplace if you want to stay awhile. The menu features creative options as well as your standard fare including soup and salad, baked goods and daily specials so there's something new to try whenever you go in. They have a coffee bar on premesis for fancy-schmancy coffee or you can refill the brewed stuff to your heart's content. I would recommend... --The Italian sandwich (on a bagel of course) - the owner made this for me on my first run when I went in at lunch, hungry. It hit the spot.' -- The French Toast bagel & apple cinnamon cream cheese is a favorite of my breakfast partner - so far I've been offered one bite (and that's it) but I can tell you it's good. -- The "Everything" bagel is GOOD but you want to scrape off some of the "everything" before consumption, it's a bit strong. Bottom line: come hungry, try something new each time, and when you're out of ideas ask them to choose for you. Whichever way you go, you'll leave satisfied.

This used to be a great place but after our last two visits, we won't be back. The store is nasty, dirty tables, over flowing trash and foul smelling restroom. The staff is rude and and uses foul language.

It was good, impressive. We came for lunch and I had one of the best bagel sandwiches ive ever had, really enjoyable, good size, good price and quality ingredients. The only issue was that my husband's lettuce was not good (wilted) and my sandwich had some weird taste, possibly the mustard.

The Best spot in Colorado Springs, to get fresh in store made, bagels, bagel sandwiches, steaming hot brews of coffee, read the paper and people watch. Go local and you'll be coming back for more!!

So the stuff is pretty good, but the staff was kinda annoyed with being there. One older guy watched my husband and I come in and we waited a few minutes and when the next gentleman came in, he walked over and started helping him. Kinda rude. And when he looks over at me and my husband giving each other looks, he finally asked what we wanted and if we were waiting. HE SAW US COME IN. And the cashier at the end just kept giving this tired look. Didn't wanna be there. Again, good stuff, not awesome staff.

I was staying at the hotel across the street and just my luck, a bagel shop within walking distance! I ordered a bagel sandwich meal, including chips and a drink for just under $10. Not as cheap as Subway, but they make their own bagels here so I expect to pay a little more. I will start with the sandwich itself, which was pretty good. Thick slices of smoked turkey with fresh vegetables and a chipotle sauce with just a little kick. The bagel the sandwich was served on is another story. When I think of local bagel shop, I think of freshly made bagels with a crispy outer crust and a soft center with just a little moisture. Well, the sesame bagel was crispy on the outside, but hard, dry, and tough on the inside. I would equate it to a bagel from Dunkin Donuts. I expect more out of a bagel shop. Onto the restaurant and eating area...I don't think this place has been cleaned since it has been opened. The floors, ceiling, walls, and legs of the table and chairs all have a visible film to them. The fountain drink area has soda and coffee spilled on the machines that looks like it has been there for a while. This place needs some serious work. The decor needs a little updating as well. There are recessed lights throughout the restaurant and many are falling loose from the ceiling. The service overall was decent, nothing great but also not rude. My sandwich was made promptly and correctly. Overall, not sure that I would come back here again. I think this place has a lot of potential, it just needs an owner or manager who cares about physical appearance and cleanliness.

Stopped here on 12/29/13 headed south from Denver back to Florida. Left early so we were looking for breakfast. They were not busy and the young man behind the counter was doing a good job explaining things to us since this was our first time there. Then the older man who seemed to be in charge seemed to get in a rush for us to order and got pushy. I almost told him where to stick his product but I was hungry and didn't want to find another place. We both ordered bagel sandwiches and an espresso each. They come in 12, 16 and 20 oz sizes. I ordered a 16 and it came with only, maby 12 oz in it. The sandwiches were just OK. I would not go back even if I lived there.

We use Oldeworlds bagels and baked goods in our coffee shop! We love Ken and the staff and always had wonderful costumer service! Thank you Oldeworld!!

Decided to try this place after going to the movies. I ordered a BLT on a Blueberry bagel. After I got it home it appeared to be a plain bagel, the top was broken, and it was hard as a rock, but I ate it because it was LOADED with at least 6 strips of thick sliced bacon. I could barely chew the bagel, but the bacon made it all worth it.

The rating is really 3.5 stars. I guess I am not a fan of using bagels to make a sandwich. It is a little too tough and chewy. I went here with a few friends for lunch. The sandwiches (hot and cold) are $6.49 plus $1.99 for a fountain drink and a small deli side or bag of chips. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. It is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. They had around 12 different bagel sandwiches plus bagel dogs, calzones and quiche. You can also order a "my way" sandwich where you choose the bagel, meats, cheese, veggies, etc. I ordered the Tasmanian which included roast beef, provolone cheese, red onions, bell peppers with garlic herb cream cheese. I got it on a spinach parmesan bagel. It was pretty good. Everyone in our party enjoyed their bagel sandwiches.

I would have never known about this place if it wasn't for my matchmaker Living Social. I went in the other day and got a Reuben bagel sandwich, soda and a bagel to go for breakfast the next day for about 10 bones-not too shabby. They definitely weren't shy with the meat and sauerkraut however I felt like this sandwich was too ambitious. It had too much going on and was too.....how do I say....slippery? The sauerkraut kept slipping out and it was just gross after awhile. But I dig their concoctions they have and sweet, hippie-ish employees so I may be back to try one of their sandwiches but it will be a cold one without a lot going on.

I used to enjoy coming here until I ran into an issue the last time. I ordered the light breakfast and drink for $2.99. When I went to pay the cashier asked in I wanted a drink cup or coffee cup. I said that I wanted a coffee cup to use for tea. I was told that I couldn't get tea with this offer to which I replied that I don't drink coffee and wanted it replaced with tea. After being told again that this wasn't possible I offered to pay the difference between the cup of tea and coffee. Barely audible the cashier said the tea is actually cheaper. I lost my mind at hearing this and decided that I'll never be going back. I recommend Einstein Brothers Bagels on Tejon instead. The food and service is leaps and bounds better.

HOOLYY CANOLI!! i never knew how much i actually loved bagels until i hit up this sweet gem of a bagel shop! I loved bagels forever and ever and ever and this place just blew my mind. amazing cream cheeses and many options. i had the everything bagel (the last one) so they must be really popular. i can see why because it was amazing and even had ground salt baked into the top crust. on this lovely bagel i had the veggie cream cheese, which is what i get everywhere else but it just doesn't compare. i got turkey and hard salami for my meat. double. Swiss cheese (because i can) and capers. mmmmmm. a little pricey but very much worth it, considering it was like an entire meal in a very large bagel. but i should give more credit on the fact that im pretty sure the bagels are baked IN HOUSE. HOLY CANOLI!

LOVE this place! My cheddar bagel was fantastic and my hubby was impressed that the Smokey Joe has real, thick sliced turkey and not processed lunch meat.

I love this place! My favorite is the lox with capers and red onion. Soo good.

This is a great place with lots of freshly baked tasty and creative types of bagels with an equally impressive array of creative and tasty flavored cream cheeses - a meal which makes up my breakfast 4 out of 7 days a week. Additionally, they have a bunch of pretty great sandwiches made on bagels (which apparently is a turn-off for some people.) Growing up in the Northeast, I can regale you with tales about how bagels back in New York are so much better than you can find them anywhere else, but that sort of pretentious discussion will likely make you feel the same way I do when someone tells me "The only reason you don't like the band Muse is because you don't get them." Which is to say, angry enough to spit blood. Aside from my self-ascribed ridiculous bagel snobbery, the only other issue is the price - for a bagel shop, it's a little pricey. But, that's usually what the letter "e" added at the end of a word that doesn't need it indicates.

Great place for a muffin bagel BUT if you are looking for a real chewy bagel, forget it. and go to Einsteins or buy a bag at Costco. Their cheddar jalapeno spread is a joke. Take a big bowel of cream cheese, add some Kraft cheddar gratings and then throw in a handful of sliced jalapenos, slightly stir and you have what they are selling. You either get a mouthful of cream cheese, a jalapeno slice or ,maybe a few cheddar strings with your cream cheese.

First of all, I consider myself a 'salt-a-holic" so I ordered the salt bagel of course. OMG - if you order this bagel, you MUST ask them to "scrape" it. The salt was overwhelming and I was parched the rest of the day. I had to borrow a knife from them to scrape off the chunks of salt myself. Would not order that flavor again! There was a line, but it went surprisingly fast (so don't be intimidated if you walk in and the line 'looks' too long). Thought it was a little pricey for what we got, but the food was good and my husband ordered the jalapeno bagel with the jalapeno cheddar cream cheese and he liked it.

This place is the best bagel place in Colorado Springs hands down. I have had the ability to try many bagel places in large metropolitan areas which still out stride Olde World...hence it gets 4 stars. -The atmosphere is kind of a mix between deli/diner/coffee shop and big props for having the window open to the bakery so you can see the fresh bagels being made. -Prices were fine -The bagels are awesome, you can taste the homemade dough which was the best part -Service was a little disheveled and it seems like the gray haired manager (owner?) had a little trouble delegating work to the rest of the employees... Things we tried: -Jalapeno bagel with chorizo, egg, and veggie cream cheese. This was very good but two things.... first, the egg was about 4 inches thick (which they may do intentionally because they charge 1.75 to add an egg.) Secondly, when I asked to have my egg runny, they told me they couldn't cook eggs to order because they use a microwave to make the eggs. This was very uncharacteristic for this place because they strive to have unique menu options and gourmet styled food...which making a 4 inch high stack of scrambled eggs in a microwave violates. -Sun dried tomato bagel with egg, cheese, veggie cream cheese again, minus the egg, this was bomb. The sundried tomato bagel tasted awesome Then we got a "smokey joe" sandwich to go which ended up being pretty good.

Tried this place with my two kids and the food was just ok. We ordered a bagel dog which they reheated in a microwave so when it got cold, it was hard as stone - shouldn't you be heating it up in a toaster or something anyway? The pizza bagel wasn't bad - it had an ample amount of cheese on it. The California bagel was good but the sprouts did not taste fresh. Chips were the Lays you got from the grocery store. The place could use a little sprucing and cleaning up though. The tray that was catching all the spills from the soda fountain had old, slimy, liquid still sitting there. It was gross - I couldn't stop thinking about it while we were eating. See, lots of reviewers mentioned their bagels tasted great - I don't doubt their opinion on this but if a place that serves food is unsanitary, that ruins everything. No, I would not be returning here. Sorry.

I like supporting the local guy over the chains, and this place is equally as good as any of the chain bagel places. I've only picked up for breakfast, so I'm not sure how their lunches are, but their bagels are good, a bit chewy and there's a wide selection of flavors. They mix their own cream cheeses which are really yummy. Bulk mixed bagel prices are on par with Panera or Einstein's. The service is always quick and friendly, which is helpful at 6am.

Dear Ken (Owner) Pros: (Food 5 Stars) 1. Wide Selection 2. Great quality 3. Interesting Sandwich selection. Cons: (Facility, Friendliness 1 Star) 1. The way you scowled at me this morning...downer. Then you really looked angry when I wanted them sliced. 2. Messy - 3. The way you talked to your employee this morning. 4. When I left, you didn't say thank you, or anything. 5. Since you're the owner, this is sad.

Ambiance: Very comfortable and inviting place located in a strip mall on the south-end of town. Lots of tables with some counter seating. Large fireplace in use during cooler months. Counter service. Cooler has assorted beverages. Great place to hang for a while. Service: Cordial and attentive. During the morning rush and ordering take-out, I can get in and out so much quicker than the bottle neck that occurs at Einstein's. Food: Best bagels in El Paso County (for a 5-star bagel, need to travel to Denver to "Bagels and Muffins" near Park Meadows Mall.) Bagels are made on premises in a large kitchen in the back. Great variety, and one of the few places left around that still makes my favorite Salt variety. The "Everything" bagel is excellent. I often get their breakfast sandwich, with scrambled egg, bacon, and really good quality cheddar cheese, that is perfectly melted into the sandwich (unlike Einstein's, where the cheese is cold and not melted.) Also, their coffee selections are as good as the best coffee houses in town. There used to be a second location near my home in the Rockrimmon neighborhood, that sadly closed over a year ago. Though this location is a little bit of a hike for me, I often find myself driving south on I-25 for the best bagel in El Paso County. This place is definitely worth seeking out!

Right across from my hotel, I wanted a non-national chain for lunch, and I am very pleased with this find. Oldeworld Bagel makes excellent food, and breakfast is served all day. The bagels are fresh and you will want to take one home. Staff was very friendly, made good suggestions, and served up my food quickly and with a smile. I will be going back tomorrow for more.

I guarantee you won't find better bagels than these within a day's drive. The reason is simple: the bagels are made fresh on-site. You know this because you can watch it happen behind a giant window near the fireplace. As mentioned in another review, the toppings of bagels like sesame and "everything" are sprinkled evenly on the entire bagel. The sandwiches are also delicious. I tried the Reuben on a rye bagel and it was outstanding. Other pros: Lots of seating, free Internet, and a wide drink selection. Cons: Too far away from my home in Maryland.

Such great bagels. Love the breakfast sandwiches or just toasted with butter. I wish there was an Olde World Bagels in Denver.

Just walked out without being served! Both females working the front made eye contact with me several times even smiling. Never said I'll be right with u. I picked out a drink to buy set it on the counter my son had to go to bathroom. I took him to bathroom. Came back to my drink which was still in front of 2 new customers. I held my drink up at the register lady and she looked right at me stepped off and walked to bagels and asked the lady behind me can I help u. I was shocked of such rimude service. They will not get my hard earned money or my business. With that poor service they won't last in Colorado springs.

The best bagels anywhere. The chipotle cream cheese is fantastic! Espresso drinks are inconsistent though...

Good alternative to Subway which is right next door. Had day-old bagels for cheap, great deal! Convenient to stop off from highway, as there is not much right off the highway here. Had the southwestern quiche which could have had more jalepeno in it, but with the salsa wasn't terrible. The bagel-sandwiches are the thing to go with.

I wish there was a bagel place like this near me in Chicagoland! This place gets 5 stars for 1 reason: they sprinkle the everything bagels all the way around. top to bottom. Any bagel with sprinkles comes completely covered. Also, free Internet, bars to eat at, a fireplace, and all the cream cheese flavors I could dream of. I was staying at a nearby hotel, and ate here every chance I got.

always friendly. always informative and helpful. a great place to grab a bite to eat and a drink, too. they have some great treats to take to work, as well.

Best bagels in the springs by far. Even the way cheep day olds are better that any bagels in town. I was slightly disappointed about the microwaved eggs. However do your self a favor and pick up a bag of bagels to make your own breakfast sandwiches at home.

Thank you YELP, and all the reviewers of olde world bagel. Great bagels and close to Cheyenne Mt Resort.

I had higher hopes due to the reviews. We got a bagel breakfast sandwich. It was frozen sausage and egg that made McDonalds look good. My daughter loved her blueberry with cream cheese bagel. The sundried tomato bagel lacked enough flavor. The staff wasn't very friendly compared to what we've had elsewhere in town. The place needs a good cleaning. The coffee area especially was disgusting.

My favorite Bagel place in town. I am a Bagel Fanatic and love a good Bagel with Good cream cheese. But this place is more than that. My hubby & I meet here for breakfast some days since it is close to his work. They have great breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches....My secret tip is to snag some Day Old Bagels....Still very fressh and only $2 Bursting bag of bagels!! Atmosphere is charming....fireplace and a breakfast bar to sit at....

This was my first visit and we went for lunch. They have some really yummy sandwiches and the prices are good. If I were a morning person I would probably be a breakfast regular here, from the looks of things. Good atmosphere, a nice little place to meet a friend for lunch. I'll definitely be back.

One of my favorite bagel places in the Springs!

(4)Kimberly H.
(2)Betty C.
Local bagel shop. Sandwiches were a tad pricey ($7) for what you get - a bagel, toasted (or in some cases nuked!) with a few slices of meat and cheese. Coffee was weak - really so weak that once i added the cream it looked light dirty water.
(2)Laura F.
(3)Geoff D.
(5)Marissa T.
My coffee wasn't fresh. My bagel sandwich was ok. The staff weren't as upbeat or as welcoming.
(1)Mike C.
Perfect place to carb up before the Spartan sprint. Hasn't changed since last year hopefully it won't before next year!
(5)Adam S.
(1)Timothy M.
Solid great start. They have great food, it's clean and good service. I wish the coffee was stronger.
(4)Alicia D.
Delicious bagels, great sandwiches. This place has great breakfast and lunch food (or if you're like me - breakfast for lunch).
(4)Andrew H.
(4)Vic L.
You have to ask yourself, how many times do I need to repeat my order? Then to then receive the wrong order. I think this place needs a little help in the area of customer service. Love the food.
(3)Reiana J.
The bagels were delicious and they have a good selection of Solar Roast Coffee. Servers weren't the most helpful to a new-comer from out-of-state. Good spot if you're in the area though.
(3)Terry W.
Here is a online coupon for them if anyone is interested. restaurant.com/olde-worl…
(5)Blaine H.
I was told they "don't do these things" when showing my yelp check in discount. The manager later gave me my dollar. The only reason why i showed up, was because they were on yelp. Then when i got my order home to the kids and wife - they had left out part of my order. I wont be returning. Poor service.
(2)Audrey B.
(2)Cheetah B.
(5)Annette V.
(5)Thomas L.
(5)Vanessa L.
Been going to this place for a good 10 years. Bagels are excellent, whether it's cream cheese, hot with meat or cold. Their café is alright, but nothing to write home about. Their pricing is a bit expensive, but if you have the cash, it's worth it for lunch. Overall, great place. Lots of couches and a casual atmosphere. A bit pricy, but a great place to have a nice bagel and relax.
(4)Aja G.
The southwest is delicious, always on everything bagel! Jalapeño bagels are very plain, not a lot of taste
(3)ElizabethAnn B.
definitely best bagels this side of the mississippi! AS my boyfriend and I have labeled this our breakfast spot .. we just love coming here and sitting at the coffee bar! The service is always awesome and prompt.
(5)Lana C.
It's hard to find a good bagel! These guys bring me home, closest thing to a NY bagel I can find. Delicious!
(5)Pamela S.
We've been going to Einstein bagels for a while and lately when we go at 12 or 1 pm they are always out. So my boyfriend and I looked for someplace else to get a bagel and fell in love with everything about this place.
(5)Brian Z.
(5)Anna V.
Best bagel place I have ever been to. Everything is always so fresh and the staff is super friendly and fun. They have a window where you can watch bagels being made, it's so cool to be able to see the process! They have a great menu and crafty flavors. I will definitely be back here many times.
(5)Gil D.
(3)Sheridan S.
(3)Darleen V.
(3)Devan K.
I had the Olympian and it was just ok. I thought it was going to be amazing because I love ham salami and pepperoni. But I was wrong. I was barely able to taste the vinaigrette because the peppers the put on it was so over powering. But they did however have some amazing honey and walnut cream cheese.
(3)Byron C.
Great breakfast spot. Awesome lox and egg sandwiches. Always seems to be fast, even when it's busy.
(5)Steph P.
They are so delicious. Go here every weekend and we are not disappointed. The lox are awesome, as are the egg sandwiches. And the cinnamon rolls are the best in town.
(5)Samuel S.
(4)Tony P.
(5)Nichole G.
(3)Emily Ruth L.
Great selection of bagels. Fast service. Making bagels behind the glass while you ate! Got lunch to go... They hit the spot!
(4)Lisa K.
(5)Lindsay P.
(5)Kylee B.
The quality of the food here is amazing for how inexpensive it is. Great atmosphere with couches, chess boards, and free wifi. I come all the time and have never been disappointed.
(5)Jonathan B.
(4)Sid S.
(3)Mel V.

I love this place! It's the first place I came after getting back in town to get a smoking joe.

(5)Steven W.
Solid Bagels with many assorted choices. On my last visit I was particularly fond of the "french toast" bagel Very tasty especially considering I prefer savory bagels like the everything bagel. If you in the mood for a bagel Olde World will not let you down.
(3)Ashley B.
Their breakfast sandwitches are SOOO GOOD! Best in town! The Service could use a little work. But I think the couple times we have gone there they have just hired someone new, we have all been there on the first day of work.
(4)Ben M.

(4)Jess A.

(1)Jeremy B.
Great bagels! Had their signature smokey joe sandwich with a cheddar cheese bagel and it was delicious. My wife had their bacon breakfast bagel and was well pleased :)
(5)Debbie B.
It was good, impressive. We came for lunch and I had one of the best bagel sandwiches ive ever had, really enjoyable, good size, good price and quality ingredients. The only issue was that my husband's lettuce was not good (wilted) and my sandwich had some weird taste, possibly the mustard.
(4)Lawrence W.
The Best spot in Colorado Springs, to get fresh in store made, bagels, bagel sandwiches, steaming hot brews of coffee, read the paper and people watch. Go local and you'll be coming back for more!!
(4)Cidny C.

The products they deliver us are the freshest and most delicious and we feel proud to serve them to our guest! The cinnamon rolls and bagels are perfect the perfect compliments to our coffee! Thank you Oldeworld!!

Good atmosphere. Good bagels. Best I have had in a long time. Nice staff. I would go back.
(4)Aaron T.
(2)Todd K.

(3)Tiffany B.
Man... I love love love bagels... and this place is the mecca of bagels! You can get them anyway you wants... the service is fast... and the people are pretty nice... next time i'm in Colorado... I'm def stopping by this place!
(4)Jeff P.
Great bagels. Fine locally owned business. Everything is better with bagels.
(4)Norman M.
Love the place. Great location, very helpful and friendly staff. Upbeat and cheerful for the most part and very easy to get along with. The food is great, always fresh, and tastes wonderful. Highly recommend if you get the chance!
(5)maddie p.
Wow we are LOVING our NJ style bagels this morning. A friend who has never experienced what I will call a real bagel says this has changed her view on bagels. Life changing bagels at olde world.
(5)Jeremy C.

(5)Wendy J.
LOVE this place! My cheddar bagel was fantastic and my hubby was impressed that the Smokey Joe has real, thick sliced turkey and not processed lunch meat.
(5)Jason C.
I love this place! My favorite is the lox with capers and red onion. Soo good.
(4)Nick A.
(3)Anthony B.
(1)Laura K.

(4)Nick F.

Awesome food.

(5)Shaun W.
(5)Prudence D.
Such great bagels. Love the breakfast sandwiches or just toasted with butter. I wish there was an Olde World Bagels in Denver.
(5)Christel H.
(1)Cheryl W.
Salt Bagels, a real find, outside NY & NJ.
(5)Corey M.
The best bagels anywhere. The chipotle cream cheese is fantastic! Espresso drinks are inconsistent though...
(4)Anne R.
(3)Daniel F.
The bagels were very good. The staff was very friendly. Best bagel I have had in Colorado.
(4)Amy B.
Quick service and wonderful strawberry cream cheese. :)
(5)Nicole W.
(5)Shelby R.
always friendly. always informative and helpful. a great place to grab a bite to eat and a drink, too. they have some great treats to take to work, as well.
(5)Mysti A.
Best bagels in the springs by far. Even the way cheep day olds are better that any bagels in town. I was slightly disappointed about the microwaved eggs. However do your self a favor and pick up a bag of bagels to make your own breakfast sandwiches at home.
(4)Mike R.
Thank you YELP, and all the reviewers of olde world bagel. Great bagels and close to Cheyenne Mt Resort.
(4)Ronda T.
(2)Kelly M.
(5)Martha B.
This was my first visit and we went for lunch. They have some really yummy sandwiches and the prices are good. If I were a morning person I would probably be a breakfast regular here, from the looks of things. Good atmosphere, a nice little place to meet a friend for lunch. I'll definitely be back.
