Excellent delivery meals! It arrived earlier than expected and was fantastic! Everything was hot and fresh, not greasy or heavy at all! We will be ordering again. Also, very large portion sizes for the price. Yummy; now back to my crab cream-cheese wontons!

Really good hot and sour soup. Sometimes when I'm on a Chinese food kick, I get a terrible hankering for cream cheese wontons, hot and sour soup, and shrimp with black beans. I'm salivating just thinking about the mass amounts of hot mustard I put on the complimentary eggrolls. I love trying something new each time I'm here for takeout. I close my eyes, point to any random spot on the menu and go from there. The guy behind the counter is always quick with the setup and generous with the rice. I love how the place feels like the cheap little hole in the walls back home. Their shrimp with black bean sauce is crazy spicy and good. I also love their eggplant with garlic sauce when I'm in a vegetarian kind of mood. Order the dinner combination if you can 'cause that's the best way to go.

Our favorite Chinese restaurant closed down so we tried Moon Star as a possible contender. It was mediocre unfortunately and since there are many other Chinese restaurants to choose from, I will leave this one alone. The prices seem good but the portions are deceptive. You will get a big box of food but over 1/4 of it will be broccoli and the meat pieces are tiny. You can get a better deal elsewhere.

Great food! My wife and I have never been disappointed with this place. Delivery is always here faster than expected and food is always filling and tasty. Sometimes they have a little trouble understanding you on the phone, but it's worth it in the end. The cashew chicken and lo mein are really good, and the soups are delicious, especially the hot and sour.

Received a flyer in the mail from Moon Star II .... where could this place be? .... they deliver, so they have to be fairly close by .... well it seems they chose to open their store right between a K-Mart and a Radio Shack .... OMG, who is going to find them there? .... We did carry-out and got the Pu Pu Platter, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and house special Kung Pao Chicken .... after getting home it was immediately apparent that the brown paper bag that our food was packed in was as crisp and clean as when we left the restaurant ... Did nothing leak? ..... Not a single container, food or sauces, spilled ... wow, good experience so far! .... As we broke out the order it was noticed that the food looked odd ... Soon to realize that everything looked too perfect ... The shrimp, chicken, fried rice, egg roll, Rangoon's, all of it ..... everything looked just too perfect ... if everything was dumped into a glass bowl and you were to mix it up with your hands, your hands would come out as clean as they were before you started ... how can that be? .... this is Asian food .... where are the smells, the textures, the messyness if you will? .... So that is my issue here ... Way too dry and bland .... The enclosed S&S sauce, and packet of Kickoman did nothing to fix this ... I hate to give a restaurant a 2 star rating because they are too perfect, but that's what is about to happen here .... If you want your food to look like the picture on the menu, then you'll LOVE it here .... I would rather eat at Panda Express than Moon Star II .... if you're on the West side of the Springs, I'd do China Wok .... Is the food bad? .... Not at all .... but it's like eating an Asian space food stick ..... Carl

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
