You would never know you were in a Mexican restaurant by the looks of the place. It looks more like a seafood restaurant or a steak house. Anyway, unlike most of my reviews, this will be short ... Food ... average Service ... adequate Prices ... very high ... $10 for guacamole? Value ... terrible CombatCritic Gives Hacienda Colorado 3 Bombs Out Of 10 ... More Bombs Are Better!

Plain and simple: Best Mexican Food, Decent Prices, Amazing Views, Great Service. Love this place. Try the strawberry margaritas!!!!

I went to Hacienda Colorado while visiting family in Colorado Springs. I had seen the commercials and wanted to try it. This was a Saturday evening and there were five of us. We were seated with in a few minutes and the waitress came by pretty quickly. I had the pasole and really enjoyed it. The home made flour tortilla was not very impressive but ok. Other people in my party had all different things and they were all happy with what they got. One person is gluten free and had gotten the fajitas with the corn tortilla and he said that the corn tortilla was the best he ever had. So a good gluten free option. They had a gluten free menu with a few choices. So that's good. I was quite pleased all the way around and would recommend it to friends.

I don't understand the attraction of this place. Had to wait to be seated even though the place was barely half full. The wait was certainly not because they were cleaning up after the last people. Then we had to ask for menus when they came to take our order. The Perfect Patron was not a Perfect Patron, that although rightly described on the drink list was not rightly made...it was watered down, they did not use fresh squeezed lime juice (no pulp) and it was room temperature with a just a little ice floating in it. The food was unremarkable...$60 plus for two people to have something not any better than Taco Bell was disappointing.

This was my first visit to Hacienda in Colorado Springs. My previous experiences with this chain had been confined to two different locations in Denver. Based on those locations I had certain expectations that were not met here. My chimichanga was a tad overcooked and the pork it was filled with was fatty and bland. I expected something better than what you'd find at Chipolte, which sadly this was not. My dining companions enjoyed their meals so I may have just gotten a bad plate. Either way I haven't written this restaurant off yet. Their margaritas are enormous and tasty and the service is typically very good.

I've been to the Hacienda Colorado restaurant in Broomfield & Colorado Springs. They were both awesome & since Mexican is my very favorite kind of food, this place had quickly become a favorite! Food is so fresh & delicious! You won't be disappointed. The water is even super delicious.
(5)Samantha H.
Everything about this place was awesome. We were told it would be a 20 to 25 minute wait, but were seated within 10 minutes. Our waiter Jacob was great. My margarita was perfectly smooth and delicious. The chips were thin, light and crispy, the salsa was fresh with just enough kick to it. The fried ice cream was so.....good. The pinto beans were so flavorful, the best. Overall great quality restaurant.
(5)Gluten Free E.
Went there while we were in town Saturday night visiting family. It was picked because my cousin said they had gluten free options. Decor was nice. Was told it would be no more than a 30 minute wait. We were seated in 2 minutes. Waitress came by very quickly. The gluten free menu was 2 pages long. Mostly I get a half a page to a page of options. The fajitas had corn tortillas which were the best I ever had. Everyone seemed pleased with the food. I would eat here again and recommend to others

Gorgeous view from the upstairs seating area. Food was delectable. Staff was very friendly and fast. Stopped in for lunch and ordered from their lunch menu which was very reasonable considering the quantity & quality of the food. Ordered the enchiladas with NM green chili sauce (the way to my heart) and they were simply delicious. Flavorful, well-presented, a decent amount of spice, and just the right amount of food. I was impressed overall with the experience. I would highly recommend stopping in for lunch as their prices are great for lunch specials. The dinner specials seemed a little pricey but I'm sure I'd think otherwise if I got to enjoy one.
(5)Melissa S.
Margaritas are delicious! I've never had anything here that I wasn't happy with. My only complaint is the wait is always long... But I guess that tells you how good it is!
(4)Devon R.
My aunt and cousin took my here for my birthday and it was amazing! Everything about the experience makes me want to go back in the future. Our waitress, Nicole, was super friendly and she even gave us a desert on the house. My cousin and I ordered the steak fagitas and they were the best I've ever had and I aunt ordered enchiladas and she loved them. Friendly staff and great food! We will for sure go back
(5)Renee A.
Seriously the best restaurant salsa I've ever had and our waitress was amazing!
(4)James H.
Pretty fancy, clean-looking decor. And excellent quick service. The food is absolutely terrible. The Pike's Peak nachos looked like a 12-year old tossed a bunch of random stuff on a plate. The salsa has no taste. Two stars for service & decor. Everything else is just horrible. I thought the menu was boring and lacked anything that resembled Mexican or Tex/Mex. One of the people in my party ordered a top shelf margarita. We're very confident there wasn't a drop of alcohol in it. The waitress was kind enough to bring a replacement Seriously, don't get glimmered but the dazzle dazzle - this place is grossly overrated.
(2)JD H.
Friends asked us to dinner here. I looked at the menu and reviews and was totally prepared to be underwhelmed. Well, I was not. The restaurant is well appointed, the food was very good, the service was excellent, and the price was extremely reasonable. I had the fajitas, which were excellent. I got a side of the 8 chili sauce and was very happy that it lit me up like a bonfire. I did not expect something that flavorful and HOT from a chain restaurant. Beer was ice cold, which was good in my case. Server added extra tortillas to our take home. Wonderful service. Will definitely return. Cannot give 5 stars until I try some thing else.
(4)Sarah L.
Very good food!!! Loved the atmosphere. Not very Mexican looking - but a good ambiance. Sat upstairs and had a terrific view! Food was seasoned great, very fresh! Everyone was friendly. The fried ice cream was one of the best my fiancé and I have ever had!! Definitely will go back!
(5)Tim H.
Forget downtown and the "Mexican" food served at Jose Muldoon's, let alone the hassle and expense of parking. The food here is great and plenty of free parking. My first trip was for lunch, and they had a nice lunch menu including a lunch-sized Margarita. It was nice, refreshing and served in a reasonable sized double-old fashioned glass. I had the cheese enchiladas, smothered in some sort of carnitas sauce, so it was no longer vegetarian. My vegetarian daughter had the same thing on a later visit, but had a meatless sauce and was pleased. Obviously we liked the place if we had a second visit. I was so enamored of the enchilada dish that I ordered it a second time, unusual for me, so I cannot comment on any other selection. The lunch menu is not available on weekends, but the regular menu is plenty adequate. We will definitely visit Hacienda again.
(5)Justin B.
The hacienda is one of me and my wife's favorite places. Haven't been disappointed service wise until today. Went and put in our name for a table which was quoted 45 minutes and we immediately found a table in the bar. So instead of waiting 45 minutes for a table we without question decided to sit at the bar. Not a big deal. Sat quick and waited about 15 min for a waitress to clean the table. Then waited another 15 for our first drinks. However the service quickly escalated and the hacienda rebounded after all! Love this place
(4)Charles W.
Food is always enjoyable. Chips and Salsa always please. Today's chips weren't cooked all the way but Server quickly replaced ours with some warm ones. Customer Service is fabulous.......
(5)Sarah G.
This is my second time coming here. The first I ordered the chili relleno, and queso was on the table. The queso tasted like broccoli cheese soup, not sure what happened with that. The relleno was crispy and delicious! This afternoon I got the Tamale Combo, with a carnita tamale and relleno. The sauce I chose was the hottest they offer, eight chili caliente. The entire dish was amazing, My lips were burning, just how I like it. Each dish at my table looked great.
(4)John D.
I was a little hesitant when I walked in and saw the sign about "Mountain Mex." That made me wonder if I was about to walk into some bland, bastardized version of Mexican food. Maybe it was the server that brightened my mood - she was great: attentive, knew the menu, friendly. But the queso blanco is what made me feel better about what I was about to eat. It's legit, and similar to what I would make in my own kitchen. So were the tamales. It all packed a decent amount of heat while letting the rest of the flavors come through. I'd go back.
(4)Joshua W.
Great place! Everything we had was delicious and the service was great. I would definitely come back and recommended this place to others.
(4)Brittney H.
I knew this wasn't going to be an authentic Mexican food place from the get-go. But I decided to try it out based on what friends were telling me. Food is definitely Americanized, I didn't particularly enjoy the taste of my enchiladas and the food was very greasy. I don't think it's worth the price at all. Will never come back here again.
(2)Edward A.
First time at Hacienda for lunch today. No wait, pleasant greeting and wait staff. I had the Original Fish Taco's and my gf had the chimichanga chicken. The waiter also gave my what he described as their second hottest salsa to try with the chips. The salsa was tasty but that after burn was pretty hot. I had to down a few other nachos with plain guacamole to help ease the heat. The fish taco as good, the chicken was good. The only issue I can think of was that the rice with my gf's chicken was on the bland side. For the price it only ranks 3 stars in my book. I'll probably eat there again, but won't be in any hurry.
(3)Marissa G.
They are known for their strong drinks which is awesome. But if your not a big drinker, you might only be able to handle one. On the food side, very good. Enchiladas and carnita enchiladas were muy bueno!
(4)Kirk K.
Been here 3 times now and each time the food has been 4/5. The menu is huge and has plenty of offerings. Hands down they specialize in their sauces and salsa, so many options when ordering a sauce for a burrito or any entree. When the weather is nice outside they do have a 2nd story deck and garage doors opening to a ground floor patio
(4)Mona C.
This place has horrible Mexican food. The place is nice but not worth it at all. I will not be back.
(1)Richard S.
Had a great time with Bev, Art, Anthony, Kim and Maya. Thank you for celebrating our 17th Wedding Anniversary! Service was excellent. I had the steak changa and of course, the sopillias. Both were excellent. Will definitely come back.
(5)Leslie C.
Recommendation spot. Very good. Fresh salsa, love that you can ala cart any taco. Great black beans! Friends ordered the habenaro salsa & the 8 chili sauce-they said it was very flavorful. 8 chili not quite as hot as was expected but tasty (I'm a wimp so didn't even try!). Would definitely recommend if looking for something that's not a nationwide chain!
(4)Lori P.
Clean, nice restaurant!! Had the shrimp tacos and a steak burrito, both tasted really good. Service was also on point. Would recommend this place!!
(4)Molly M.
Their food is awful. I ordered my daughter the quesadilla from the kids menu for $6.50 and it was not even edible. She wouldn't eat it. For $6.50 I expect more than a wimpy quesadilla and tiny bowl of pink apple sauce. GROSS!!!
(2)Deb G.
As much as I dislike chain restaurants, this one has one thing going for it and that's the awesome, upstairs, outdoor patio view of the mountains! However, yet again we had to endure the waitress asking a multitude of times.... "well, is everything excellent?, are we enjoying our excellent food?" - a major pet peeve of mine!!!! Rarely if ever do I receive food at ANY restaurant that is in the excellent category, so it irritates me even more to be at an average restaurant and have to listen to this crap. Managers: We don't like it, don't want to hear it - so stop it! I don't come to your establishment to have dinner with my waiter or waitress - I bring the person or people I want to eat with and I want to eat in peace. If the food's bad, believe me, you'll hear from me! The other aggravating thing is that even if you complain at a chain, no one cares, no one is going to take that message back to the manager or the cooks and make a difference - so why do it??? I hated this practice, which is rampant in Dallas, and now I know I need to avoid chains here too for the very same reason. Ok, venting over, let's talk about the food - which really should be the star of the show. The BBQ ribs with cheese enchilada and grilled veggies on the side was good. The rack of BBQ ribs was actually very good.... tender, falling off bone with great sauce, just as they should be and served on a very hot metal plate, but the let down was the lukewarm enchilada with almost no filling and the grilled veggies which were mostly onions. (I improvised by using my hot BBQ plate to add the enchilada and veggies as a warming plate!). The Skinny Rita during happy hour was tasty, but if there was any alcohol in there, I could not find it. Chips & salsa are a nice touch.... love thin, crispy chips and the salsa was almost there (it's chipotle-based, but just shy of enough heat). Hubs had a beer and the Applewood Chicken-Stuffed Anaheim; a fresh roasted Anaheim pepper stuffed with a mix of smoked chicken, roasted poblano peppers, red bell peppers, onions, cheese medley, chipotle sauce and jalapeño sauce, then dusted in Panko crumbs and lightly fried. He said it was OK, but would not order it again. Too much cheese sauce made the stuffed pepper and it's crust soggy. Deserts were good, and I especially enjoyed the flour-less brownie with ice cream, but again it was accompanied by a very lukewarm cup of coffee. UGH!!! We would have complained, but we had some local shopping to do and were running out of time, so we let it go. So, overall, the food was not bad and it was not great either - just middle of the road, pricey, chain food. However......... amazingly we would return with friends because of the upstairs patio with view of the mountains for a nice social evening. It's almost always about the food, but for Hacienda Colorado in the Springs, I'll give it an extra star for atmosphere and visit again. But, if we have the waitress/waiter issue again, we will ask them to leave us alone. We've done it before..... We just got out of the habit of even being concerned with this issue in the Springs by eating downtown and on the west side at upscale, one-offs where they know their food is good and don't ask! :)
(3)Amy B.
Hacienda was great! Great food! Amazing views. We waited about 15 minutes to sit outside. The food was fresh and pretty authentic.
(4)Heather L.
My favorite is the chili rellano with mild queso. Excellent chips, they are very thin. Salsa is good, not too hot but just enough spice to it
(4)Walt D.
Excellent! Devan was a fantastic server and the food was delicious at a very fair price. 'Nuff said. :)
(5)Melaine H.
Love this place! Usually go with friends. Great margaritas and love the bacon wrapped jalapeño and cheese stuffed shrimp. This place also is generous with portions.
(5)Patricia M.
I have been waiting to go to Hacienda and finally we went when my sister in law came to visit from Ohio, I was excited to try the Street tacos, I ordered them with the Habanero sauce on the side, unfortunately they put the sauce on all three tacos and it burned my palate after the first bite. The waitress was kind and got another order in with the sauce on the side as requested but it was too late I could not taste any of it. I don't know if the waitress forgot to put the first order in with the sauce on the side or the kitchen simply forgot.
(2)Tim K.
My first visit was probably a 4 but last night's visit sets Hacienda Colorado back to two stars. My friends, wife and I arrived at around 7:45 last night and it was fairly dead. Our server didn't greet us for over 10 minutes. My wife's margarita was watered down and she thought it was terrible. Our friends and us ordered the "Pikes Peak Nachos" with grilled chicken. When the nachos arrived they were naked. It was more like a pile of chips with sour cream and guacamole on the top. We sent them back and a manager came over to apologize. the manager said that the nachos were "unacceptable" and new ones would be "right out". So by the time that the new nachos came out it had been about an hour since we initially ordered. The new nachos were still missing the pico and jalapenos. Hacienda Colorado what a disappointment.
(2)Maria L.
Food was good, not great. Service was terrible!
(3)I R.
It's been hard finding a good Mexican restaurant in Colorado Springs... but this place was amazing! The food was delicious, margaritas were AMAZING, and service was top notch! We ordered steak fajitas for two which took them about 15 minutes to cook to perfection along with pinto beans and mexican rice. Customer service was on the dot. I Highly recommend this place!
(5)Mel V.
I had the tamales with black beans and rice. All were very good. Our server gave us a little bowl of each salsa. Love that. The sopapillas were amazing! Served with agave nectar, vanilla ice cream, and strawberries on the side. I loved it with just the agave. We will be back!
(4)Rich S.
Been here several times. Food is always good and fresh. Portions are good. Today was really, really slow service but this has been outside the norm. My beef chimi was crispy the way I ordered! Despite the poor service this time, we'll be back.
(4)Mylene S.
Best meal we've had in Colorado Springs since we've been coming here (a lot! ) . We had a wide variety of food at our table and nobody was disappointed. Rave reviews all the way around! KC was our server....amazing! She was SO attentive and we didn't have to ask for a thing! Will definitely be going back. Legendary!
(5)Andrew C.
So the food was amazing the staff there is supper friendly and their drinks are loaded I had the Mango Margarita and I was feeling good. For dinner we had the quest as an appetizer and the tortilla soup (if you check in on four square one of them is free) and I had the two chicken enchilada and I'm Mexican so it's extremely rear for me to say this about Medan food but it was delicious! The time I went the weather was shitty so outside was not an option so we sat indoors. But I saw they have an amazing patio with a pit for a nice summer night.
(5)Jameson L.
Hacienda Colorado is a decent restaurant. This place is becoming a chain but it's roots start in Colorado. Years ago I frequented their location in South Denver right off of I-25 and have been to the spot off Colorado Blvd. When I saw this location being built here in town I did have mixed feelings. This restaurant is aimed towards the affluent white crowd from Briargate. It's expensive for the food and has a high class type of decor. This location specifically has been constructed with amazing outdoor dining possibilities. The one time I did eat on the patio there were 30mph winds and I had to keep everything from blowing away, I wish I could blame this on Hacienda but I suppose they don't control the weather. The menu is solid with a lot of options but not so many that you wonder how they manage it (Cheesecake Factory). Their drinks are so large that you don't have to beg for a refill. Their chips and salsa are made in-house and the chips quite often come out warm and crispy. I highly recommend the spicy queso and their accent sauces. One reason I give this four stars is they are continually improving their menu. New items are added old ones are taken off and it creates a feel that the kitchen is striving to do their best. I would recommend this restaurant to family and friends. Still not the best Mexican food in the Springs but it's close.
(4)Jimmeny C.
Happy hour, just ok. Drinks slightly overpriced for happy hour. Food was so-so off the happy hour menu.
(3)Neil C.
I'm originally from Texas, so we know authentic Mexican food. I'm going on record right NOW...this is the BEST mountain-mex, Tex-mex you will find. Other Tex-mex resteraunts in Colorado...the gauntlet has been thrown down!
(5)Jon W.
Been here three times. Wife Absolutely LOVES the lettuce tacos, and I the Chorizo dip app. It's not authentic, but great service. It's not traditional Mexican portions, and I probably gave it four stars because I'm not the hugest mexican fan: a true mexican aficionado will think this places lacks authenticity.
(4)Brittany V.
Great food!! My favorite drink is the lava lamp! Wonderful atmosphere. Don't quite agree with the staff leaning around and gossiping at the hostess stand though.
(4)Brett G.
Love this place. The service has been hit or miss. Either really good or "Meh" over the 6 times we have been here (so far). The food is what I go for. I love their selection, preparation, and their interpretation of "Mexican" food. They call it Mountain Mex - cause, ya know - Colorado is in the mountains... The drinks are good as well. Water and fountain drinks are delivered in giant 32oz cups. Gluten problems? They take special care to accommodate you. I was amazed at the lengths they went. I don't have the celiac but a friend I took there does - bad. As the server was describing their methods, to separate deep fry pits to wrapping the plates in plastic and stored in a separate fridge to keep any cross contamination - touching - off the plates, they make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. Thanks and I'll return indeed.
(5)Will M.
Food is excellent and service is great. Patio and ambiance are nice. If you want authentic Mexican, go somewhere else but if you want good food and a great vibe, this is a great place.
(4)Lindsay B.
Awesome place- the patio is amazing!! The guac is on point, margaritas generous with tequila, quest super spicy but good flavor, fajitas were incredible, tacos, tamales, and enchilada amazing!!
(5)Jonathan B.
We tried to eat here at least three times before actually getting to eat here. I'm not going to wait an hour for it ever. When we finally did get to sit down without a huge wait, we were pleasantly surprised. The margaritas are adequate and our tacos were good. I don't just love them, but they are good. It's one of the better places to get Mexican food in the Springs, but the competition isn't very stiff. I will say they have the best sopapillas I've ever had. I loved them. Hot. Fresh. Doughy. Served with a side of ice cream. If you go, make sure you save room for dessert.
(4)Sarah S.
Well the fried ice cream is amazing. Like no joke, F**king amazing. Why 2 stars you ask??? My husband got food poisoning and threw up all night. we ordered enough food so we wouldnt have to cook that night so we got leftovers. He puked all night poor guy. Hacienda was the only thing he ate that day, so we know it was the food their. Ill go for the fried ice cream but I will never eat their food again.
(2)Maria L.
Among the four of us, we tried almost everything on the 4-course menu. The tomato "hamburgers" amuse bouche, the curried zucchini and the lamb were really amazing.
(5)Mark M.
Food is good. I ordered a steak burrito and loved it. Also had a margarita which was good. Price is average and good spot for dinner. Nice atmosphere.
(4)Taylor L.
Great service! Delicious food! No matter what anyone tells you, I've been to this particular Hacienda several times, and every time has been a great experience! It's a nice take on an old genre. A nice selection of Mex-American dishes and sauces to accompany for any pallet. Moderately pricing makes this a nice place to attend for special occasions, or a weekend date!
(5)Sarah N.
I was going to give this place 2*, but since we didn't have to pay for our food (keep reading), I'll say it's A-Ok. Even at 7:40PM on a Wednesday night, traffic in and out of the front doors was a constant, and everyone wanted to be seated on either the rooftop patio or on the side patio next to the tiny amphitheater. Since this was my first visit, I was confused by the statements made by the hostess, and she was confused by my request, so I didn't get my name on the list in time before both areas filled up - so I had to wait an extra 30 minutes to get seated when I didn't have to. Very nice décor, and the restaurant is large. TVs in the bar area. Too corporate and "chain-y" for my taste, but it wasn't my restaurant pick for the night. Once seated, our server was very friendly and our orders were all correct. The wrench in the night came when the power went out. Apparently my table's food had JUST completed cooking, because as the server delivered our dishes, she addressed the table next to us and apologized that the restaurant couldn't complete their order before they lost power, so no food for them! And then to all the customers in the area, she stated that everything was on the house because they couldn't run the computers. Man, I should've ordered a huge margarita! We ate in the dark, which, luckily for them, I thought rather amusing. Sadly, the "mountain Mex" was disappointing. My fish taco was way too dry and tasted like fish sticks, and the chicken taco just didn't have the punch of flavor I had hoped for. The barbacoa taco was the only one that stood out to me, and the meat was delicious in its shredded, juicy goodness. I generally love corn tortillas, but these were thick and mealy. The accent sauce WAS good, and I was pleased to be able to pour it on my tacos, and the portions of my dish were the right size. I also liked the black beans that came with my tacos. At the end, we didn't have much cash, so we felt bad we couldn't at least give a decent tip. I guess that means I will have to go back one of these days and slip her some extra bills so she can divvy it out - but I won't be ordering food.
(3)Henry S.
We attended a private wedding party...and the food was amazing, the wait staff was on point....especially Jacob...great job..great restaurant
(5)Bryan M.
Mexican food! Not sure why this is labeled American. Very good food, this is our favorite Mexican place in the Springs. Reasonable prices, good drinks and chips.
(4)Sherry H.
Great Food!! Margaritas are very strong. All the tortillas flour/corn are homemade including all their sauces. There are many different sauce you can get with your meal. Anything over 3 jalapeño ratings is very hot! Beware unless you love really spicey/hot food. Totally would recommend! All wait staff was very nice. Ask for more homemade tortillas they are awesome.
(5)Mariah C.
I'd never heard of Hacienda, until a friend suggested we stop by on a particularly sunny Sunday afternoon. "They have a great view," he said. "They have good margaritas," he said. I'm always wary of chain-type places, but this was actually great. 1) The margaritas were delicious. They were made more delicious by the fact that it was a) the first warm and sunny day of the year, b) served on a patio, and c) I wasn't the designated driver. But still. Delicious, and they had a Grand Marnier floater. 2) The salsas are plentiful. So Hacienda's deal is that they offer myriad salsas. For free. (Please see earlier review of Jorge's Mexican Food.) And they're not skimpy-- they're big tubs of yummy salsas, whether you like it green or cheesy or hot. 3) We had great service. Friendly, helpful and snappy. Is this the best Mexican food you've ever had in your whole life? I wouldn't go that far. But is it tasty, and cost-effective, and a lovely place to spend a weekend afternoon getting buzzed with friends? Yep. For that, it will do just the trick, and the food's good, too!
(4)Grant W.
Food was meh...I have had better, I have had worse. The service was also meh. I am guessing it was mostly due to sitting outside and it being really busy. Would I go back...questionable. I would rather drive to the one in South Denver. My GF had a chimichanga that was ok at best and it was failry cold when we got it. With the ever expanding mexican food scene in the Springs...it really does take a back seat in almost every way except for the feel of the place. It has some of the best mountain views for a place to dine.
(3)Jackie M.
Best Mexican food I've ever had. Not a taco person but their selection is unique and amazing. Perfect for the foodies. Had the barbicoa, shrimp and Meyers steak taco trio. Mouth is a little on fire but loved it. And like that you have a choice of salsas to accompany your meal. Nice view of pikes peak of you sit on the upper level. The downstairs is more family friendly.
(4)Michael K.
My wife and I have been searching for a good Mexican food restaurant in Colorado Springs. Having moved here recently from Arizona, we've been looking for a certain taste. Hacienda Colorado has satisfied that taste. The tomatillo sauce, queso, salsa, and guacamole were all better than any other place we've been to. The happy hour is fantastic. And the chicken in our nachos/quesadilla was real chicken as opposed to pre shredded chicken or strips. The food outside of happy hour is pricey and this the reason for the 1 star deduction. Our server, Andy, was great and we gave a 30% tip because of the great service and food We'll be back!
(4)Theresa L.
There is typically a wait, and they don't take reservations, hence only 4 stars. The good is consistently fresh, good margaritas, and our latest fabulous server, Courtney, suggested the chocolate cake for dessert. I have a new favorite chocolate cake! Thanks Courtney!!
(4)Michelle I.
Customer service is great. I have been to this location about 5 times and each time my server has been really friendly and very on top of their job. The drinks are also very good. I highly recommend this place for a casual get together.
(4)Christina S.
We went for lunch on Saturday afternoon with friends. We waited for about 20 minutes for our table. Not bad for a packed restaurant! Service was fast and friendly and the decor is really cool too. I can't wait til the weather warms up a bit to try out the outdoor seating areas! I got the Colorado's Favorite fish tacos. OOooooh yum! Especially delish with the habanero hot sauce on the side. Washed it down with a legit house margarita. Mmm mmm mm. Will definitely be back!
(4)Tom P.
Service was fast and very good! Chips, beens and rice were very average. Salsa was excellent, and so were the chicken enchiladas. Ordered a grande margarita and it was the size of a regular margarita anywhere else. Way over priced!!! Would have hated to see size of a regular margarita!! Probably won't go back, there are better Mexican restaurants in town.

Went for the first time with my daughter on a Friday night. We were seated right away and our server was there to greet us promptly. It did take a little bit to get our drinks but it wasn't 10 minutes or anything. The food was decent; typical Tex-Mex style Mexican food. I had the original fish tacos on corn tortillas with black beans. The tacos were good, but had a bit too much in each one in my opinion; I could hardly fold the shell over taco-style to eat them. The beans were really tasty. My daughter ordered the barbacoa tacos with lettuce shells. There was a LOT of lettuce as the shells. She wound up taking a few layers off one and completely emptying the last one and mixing some lettuce in. I didn't taste them, but she said they were really good. We would up ordering the tres leches dessert to take home. She ate some of it in the car and put the rest in the fridge. Of course, the milks started leaking out of the cake while in the fridge, which is when I tasted it. Even though it was a little mushy by that point, the flavor was good and the strawberry stuff to put on top was really delicious. Our server was very nice and actually kept thanking us repeatedly. She was just attentive enough; not over-bearing but not MIA. All in all, decent food, good service, nice atmosphere, and decent prices. Would go back if someone else wanted to go there.

I think this is my new favorite restaurant in Colorado Springs. You can sit outside upstairs and drink top shelf margaritas. The steak tacos were excellent. Some of the best I've had. The beans aren't a refried pile of mush. They are in a little cup and yummy. We all enjoyed what we ordered and will be going back. Their Facebook page has pictures of all their dishes. I'd love to try them all. Waiter was attentive. Can't say enough good things. The only negative is the first time I went there they stuck us in a noisy room with the yuppie lunch crowd. Don't go for lunch on a weekday.

Just please make this place stop.. Why are there lines almost out the door EVERY day for this place?? WAY overrated. You will have the privilege of having a 12 dollar burrito with a "spicy sauce" choice that have the flavor of cardboard. Very small portions, very expensive for what you get, very loud in the building as well no matter where you sit. I have unfortunately been here twice and it was no better the second time. I just is mind boggling how busy this place is for how lousy the food quality is. I just cannot fathom why. There is nothing even remotely" Mexican" about the food. My friends had the fajitas for 2 and you get a child size portion as well as 3 tortillas for 2 people! What are you supposed to cut the 3rd one in half lol! Also the service was annoying, they would come over constantly to grab dishes and basically trying to push you out of there as fast as possible in order to turn more tables. Do yourself a favor and walk across the parking lot to Chipotle, they may be fast food but they put this place to shame big time. Once the "trend" of Hacienda Colorado wears off I have a feeling they wont be around too long. Not good food or a good time.
(1)Nicole T.
Mediocre food, extremely careless and rude staff. I've given this place 4 chances and has been extreme disappointment every time. Save your money...skip this place until their staff can get it together.
(1)Todd D.
Good food and excellent service. The salsa is delicious and has some good kick to it. Lunch menus is small but effective.
(4)Brig A.
The first couple of times that I ate here, the food and service were great. I did lunch here today and it was TERRIBLE! To do lunch took over an hour and the fish tacos had no flavor. At least the salsas were very good. Needless to say, I was REALLY disappointed with the experience today.
(2)Claudius R.
Best Mexican food in the state. Hacienda has the best selection of sauces, including several types of quesos and chilis. Wait staff is excellent as well. Only issue I should mention is hostesses here are too young and not very competent.
(5)Kendra R.
Attractive clean restaurant. Clean waitstaff. Good start. Our server Trevor was awesome. I got two swirls (part frozen marg part frozen sangria). It's strong and it's fantastic. Did you know you get more alcohol in a frozen drink than one on the rocks? They don't use ice in their frozen drinks just pure product. My BFF had the steak burrito smothered in queso which he adores. I had shrimp and chicken fajitas. Seasoned just right, not greasy, served with the option of flour or corn tortillas or lettuce cups! Can't wait to come back!
(4)Scott B.
Really great food but perhaps a little overpriced. Service was incredible and the atmosphere was great but $9.50 for a happy hour sangria (albeit a grande) was a little high. Many large tables so this place is great for large group gatherings.
(4)T.C. G.
Crowded, food is so-so, cookie cutter design/atmosphere. The only plus is the terrace view of Pikes Peak. Probably wont go back for food, perhaps for a drink.
(2)Cassie T.
Delicious food! Great service! Lovely atmosphere! I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas - FANTASTIC!! The tortilla chips are so thin and crispy and the salsa is perfect! Homemade flour tortillas - SHUT UP GOOD!!
(5)Cielo G.
Typical Americanized Mexican in a modern setting. Food is consistent, but not tantalizing. My salad didn't even come with some of the ingredients listed on the menu. Disappointed. Salsa and sauces were a highlight.

HC is a true mega-chain. They seat 500, so you get a table quickly. With that many diners though, you had better bring earplugs, it's LOUD! To their credit, they don't blast music forcing you to be louder. The place is minimalist, but clean and comfortable. They were easily able to seat our table of 30. The food, unfortunately, is their downfall. I sampled ribs, enchiladas, rellanos, beans& rice and their chips. I also observed another half dozen or so other dishes. Nobody raved about their meal. For my part, the chips were so thin as to be unable to scoop anything without breaking. In fact, half the bowl was broken up. The rellano was the worst I've ever had. It was heavy and crusty, in fact they use wonton wrappers around them. Fail. The ribs were supposed to taste like chipotle, they were cloyingly sweet with molasses instead. The beans and rice were good though. There was absolutely nothing memorable about the food, and I probably wouldn't choose to return to HC.

As a West Coast transplant, I am frequently disappointed by Mexican food in COS, but not with Hacienda! Let me first couch this by saying Hacienda is not "real" Mexican food. However, it's dang good Colorado Mexican food--reminiscent of Tex Mex and Southern California fish tacos. The location on North Nevada is conveniently located and adds another option to the University shopping center. The restaurant is *huge* and I've never had to wait long (though for larger groups we usually make a reservation). Consistently good service, good happy hour prices in the bar M-F, 3-6pm, good for groups or more impromptu lunch or dinner dates. It can get a bit noisy, especially with large groups. In the summer they also open up their patio and have live music on certain days. Now, on to the food. Always fresh, and I believe they make their own tortillas. Crispy chips seem fresh, and their salsa has a nice smoky flavor. Nice selection of sauces to accompany (or smother) your entree, if that's your sort of thing (I usually just get a side of habanero salsa). I've had the quesadillas on happy hour, but typically get a street taco platter, with your choice of 3 tacos. Love the shrimp, fish, and carnitas options. Good flavor, especially for landlocked Colorado. The side of black beans is flavorful and less heavy than your usual refried beans. Drinks are good, with Negra Modelo (on tap!), the skinny margarita (soda water instead of sweet & sour), and the swirl margarita (frozen margarita with sangria 'swirled' in; super strong!!) being my favorites. And, if you're with a group and want a splurge--their sopapillas are warm, sugary, pillowy pockets of deep fried dough with honey and ice cream on the side. Delicious and sinful. Overall, I'm happy this Colorado chain opened up. It is a fresh and flavorful alternative, and a great place for when you want the flavors of Mexican cuisine (spice, lime, cilantro) with a margarita or Mexican beer. Note: If you want straightforward, inexpensive Mexican food in a casual setting, La Casita across Nevada is probably what you're looking for. Read: cheese enchiladas, refried beans, Styrofoam plates. Hacienda is definitely more expensive and more "frilly" with their ingredients. But yummy!

Gotta do a follow up on this one. Atmosphere is terrific and so was green chili but the Colorado Fish Tacos (grilled Mahi) were actually fishy and the service was just OK. You certainly will have trouble topping the vibe that you get as you sit on the rooftop patios and enjoy the view of Pikes Peak. The location in south Denver delivers a consistent, high quality experience every time but this location doesn't quite feel like it's fully dialed in yet. Of course, part of that may be attributable to the massive crowds that still show up here almost every night. (If you don't get there by 5:30, be prepared for a LONG wait). Hopefully, things will only improve with time. In summary, this was my first trip to this new location and it was just an average experience but based on my track record with the Denver location, I will reserve a full review until I can go back a couple more times. Stay tuned!

WOW!!!!! So I know that I've left a review for La Mission in Falcon saying it's the best Mexican food around, but I have to change that opinion after making repeat visits to Hacienda! La Mission comes second. Everything is super fresh and the flavor combinations are amazing! The street tacos are the best tacos Ive ever had, anywhere, hands down. Try the smoked carnitas instead of chicken-- TO DIE FOR! I've tried other menu items, to include their chimis and while everything has been good, I always go back to the street tacos. Chips are thin, crispy and fresh, salsa is great, although not hot at all. They have several different sauces to try- pineapple habanero and the 8 chile are my favorites. If you haven't tried this place, you will not be let down!!!!!!!!!!!!
(5)Sara D.
Food was delicious. Service was great. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if looking for some tasty Mexican cuisine.

Happy hour gives you a buzz, only to be killed by the service. Went here last night with a group of friends and was told this place was pretty good. I love Mexican food, so of course I was game. Found out that happy hour runs till 6 and it included a good amount of food and drinks. When we arrived we were seated almost immediately, which was nice. After about 5 minutes of sitting at the table, we were finally greeted by our waitress and drink orders were placed. Drink prices on happy hour are great, but it felt like our waitress was hiding so that we could only get one round in. We ordered some queso blanco with chorizo as our app and it was delicious. Problem was that we ran out of chips in 5 minutes and couldn't get a refill for what felt like another 20 minutes. After being being here for about an hour and about 7 minutes until happy hour was over I wanted another beer, problem was that I hadn't seen our waitress for about another 20 minutes. So I did what anyone would do when they are trying to get their Wednesday night fiesta on; i ran over to the bar and placed an order. Bartender made me wait for our waitress to bring the beer instead of filling it while I was in front of him. Ordered the pick any 3 tacos dinner: Steak, carnitas and shrimp with a side of sliced avocados. Sounded delicious. By the time we got them, we had been there for 2 hours and ordered about an hour previously. Tacos were ok, nothing spectacular, and definitely not worth that wait. Bright side is that the sopapillas were good. All in all, great happy hour menu. Drinks are cheap and there are some good food options. The food is good, not amazing. Honestly the service was horrible and really killed the bright moments. Total time there was about 3 hours, and I probably saw our waitress 4 times, maybe 5 when I include the check. This was a Wednesday....hate to see it busy on the weekend.

Ok food for a chain. Much better than other chain Mexican style eateries. Good service. Great Margaritas. We tried the burrito with grern chili, flavor was not really hitting home for us and the green chili was dissapointing. Maybe a place with Colorado in its name might try buying chile peppers from Colorado

If, on a slow night, a restaurant is not up to the task of properly serving a party of 11, they should just say so. They threw bodies at it; the bodies were not up to the task. You name it--taking and serving drink orders, getting orders out, even remembering who ordered what and making sure the food served was hot--they were horribly inept.
(1)Sherri M.
Great food, fantastic frozen margaritas! The service has been consistent with each visit and my husband and I go here at least once a month.
(5)Matt K.
This is 'Americanized Mexican', but it is some of the tastiest I've found in town. The atmosphere is very classy and upscale, unlike many Mexican dive joints with yellow walls and ponchos on the wall. It's always an unknown when a restaurant is brand new, but the service was very prompt and the food was delicious. The mild queso tasted like processed Velveeta, I'd stay away from that. The margarita's are very stiff! If you like American-Mexican food I'd recommend checking it out.
(4)Cara V.
Food - Have tried the fire-grilled garlic shrimp tacos with corn tortillas, original fish tacos (subbed the breaded fish), and an order of guacamole. The shrimp tacos were by far the best part of the meal, would recommend. The fish tacos...meh. As a fan of simple fish tacos w/cabbage the original was recommended over the California. Wouldn't reorder the fish tacos. Guacamole was SUPER salty, odd take on guac and definitely would not order in the future. Not on my list of must eat at restaurants but pretty good overall. Atmosphere - Lots of space and cool upper outdoor seating. Sat in the bar area and overall the setting is pretty cool and seems like a great place to grab a drink and maybe dinner. Service - The bar and wait staff were friendly and attentive while we waited for our orders. Price - Not bad. They have a menu on their website and everything was available for dine-in or takeout.
(3)Megan J.
Terrible food! Expensive for a tiny boring menu, with small portions. Boring service, boring food, not going back! Both left with a stomach ache and still hungry!
(1)Sal C.
Happy Hour is awesome. Great appetizers (Green Chile Fries). Great drinks. Sadly, they decided to get rid of Tecate on draft for some other American brew which I don't get since this IS a Mexican Restaurant.
(4)Kristy S.
One of my absolute frequents and favorites! The salsa is so tasty and the spicy queso blanco will knock your socks off! Love all the tacos, margaritas, sangria - pretty much love everything I have tried!
(5)Kathy W.
My mom and I just had lunch there today. We arrived around noon - and the parking lot and overflow were completely full. We were given a buzzbox for our roughly 10 minute wait for a table. We've never eaten here, but we'll certainly be back! Chips and salsa and our drinks arrived quickly. The salsa was mild, but had a very nice flavor. The chips were very thin and crispy. Next the waitress brought out a sampling of their sauces. A mild ranchero sauce, mild cheese sauce and then several spicy sauces - none of which were over-poweringly hot even though at least one of them was listed on the menu as one of the spicier options. My mom ordered the lunch portion steak and chicken fajitas a a chile relleno on the side. She chose the spicy pork green chile sauce for the relleno. I ordered the smoked carnitas enchiladas with the spicy pork green chile sauce and a crispy chicken taco on the side. My mom reports the chile relleno (and she's a real stickler) as the best she's ever had. She said the fajita meat was a very nice quality (no gristle/fat etc) very tender and well cooked. The rice was well cooked and flavorful and the refried beans weren't your standard wallpaper paste. My smoked carnitas enchiladas were fantastic - savory, tender and a very nice smokey flavor without being nothing but smoke. The sauce was spicy - but the heat built slowly. I would have preferred something bolder. Next time I go I will move up the spice ladder. The crispy taco was spiced well with the standard taco toppings. Considering what was in the taco though, $3.99 was a bit pricey for a single taco - it's the same price as the relleno which is a substantially larger order. We ordered their "1 pound chocolate cake" for dessert - a Ghiradelli chocolate cake with Ghiradelli chocolate and caramel sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. 4 people could make that slice a small but wonderful dessert. It was frankly too much for me after the meal - delicious, but all the chocolate was a bit much and I was definitely feeling weighed down. Next time I'll take the lighter option of sopapillas. PROS: Fantastic food. Flavorful, distinct, well cooked, well spiced. Generous portions Attentive wait staff - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable but not the hovering sort. (Our waitress was Macy) Very clean dining area, wait staff removing dishes as complete, busboys clearing tables moments after guests left. Nice decor, music not too loud. CONS: The *only* issue we had is that some menu items are inexplicably pricey. Two cheese enchiladas $10-12 (depending on lunch/dinner portion) or something with steak/chicken or a more substantial plate might be the same price or, strangely, less. But for the quality and quantity of the food this issue is just a minor qualm. It's certainly in line with other restaurants of similar quality. BOTTOM LINE: Slightly pricier than some options in town - but of far superior quality. I call that a good deal. Excellent for lunch though be prepared for a wait. I suspect there's also a wait at dinner - and I imagine it might be far longer on weekends. (We went on Monday afternoon) I hope this place sticks around - the food was superb.

Excellent food and margaritas.. We are foodies in Houston and visited this place and really satisfied.. Try a swirl margarita!!!

After dining here four times, I'm ready to give a review. I hesitated because I really used to love going to Haciendas in and around the Denver area, so I kept waiting to have that great experience at this location, hoping I would be able to write a better review. The issue with this location is not necessarily the food, it's the service. I have had consistently bad service each time I've eaten here. Initially, I assumed it was because they had just opened and were still training, so I gave a pass. It just continues, though, each time we go. This past Saturday night I arrived early to wait for a table. To my surprise, I only had to wait about 5 minutes before I was seated. Our waitress introduced herself and took my drink order. She was very friendly and kind. She said she would be back when the rest of my party arrived. She returned intermittently as people arrived (4 of us), but it was at least 35 minutes after everyone had drinks and queso before she came back to take our orders. Even then, she just wanted to update drinks and we had to convince her that we did, in fact, want her to stay and take our orders. We were seated in the dining room, so it seemed a given that we wanted to order dinner. It was an exceptionally long dinner, as you can imagine. To be fair to this server, I have had other less-than-stellar experiences here, this one is just fresh in my mind. The food arrived quickly and was fine. That's really all I have to say about it. I do think some of their food is very good (I really like the tacos), but a lot of it is just bland and doesn't stand out. Some misses have been the queso blanco (too hot for me), the chicken tortilla soup (watery and flavorless), and I don't particularly care for their salsa. It doesn't actively offend me like some salsa, but I do always order queso because the salsa doesn't blow my skirt up. I will keep going back because it's decent, but I do feel that they could step up the service quite a bit.
(2)Sarah B.
My husband and I went for the first time on a Saturday night. The wait was normal (45 minutes) for 7 at any co springs restaurant. We are really big on Mexican food being for Texas we really did not have big expectations. Once we sat down and ordered the food was surprisingly great. You could really taste the freshness of all the ingredients. Even the mojito I ordered was fresh mint, none of the fake shit. The only down side was the salsa. I only like pico to be cold but the salsa they had would be ten times better if served warm. Overall I rated the place a four because of the salsa. I would recommend the place to anyone but go into the restaurant with an open mind and do not expect authentic Mexican food. Enjoy!
(4)Stacey H.
I've enjoyed this new Mexican restaurant numerous times now and am pleased. Their queso blanco is delicious! If you like a little spice kick-this is the queso for you. I've swung by and picked it up to go with a bag of chips on several occasions-we like it that much. Everything I've had off the menu is well-prepared. I haven't had anything I would have done without. Drinks have been on spot, too. Upstairs or downstairs your choice this place has a great vibe to it and well thought design from the bar area to the dining area. It's definitely a like very much! Glad you are here in the Springs!
(4)Maddie Y.
First the positive, nice location and graet outdoor seating. Margaritas were yummy! The negative, food was just blah...salsa had very little flavor and many of our items had the wrong ingredients in them. The entrees were just ok. What was worst however was the service - the waiter was not very knowledgable and kept getting things wrong and forgetting items. I get that this is a new restaurant and it takes time but compared to the Hacienda in Denver this one needs some help managing the staff. Service was very slow and poor. Not sure if we will be back but hopefully they will get into the swing of things!
(2)Donna E.
Alright, I ate here about a week ago and was actually shocked to see 5 star reviews! It was lunch and they were busy but not too busy that we weren't able to be seated right away. My first "blah" moment was the salsa is just down right awful. Tasted like some bad parsley or something in it and the taste was just terrible. We ordered the lunch burritos one with green chili and the other with blanco queso - they were just okay. Very large portions but the quality was a little lacking. The service was good and the atmosphere is wonderful - gorgeous new building but if you are like me and enjoy good chips and salsa you may want to skip this place.
(2)Tom P.
a little disappointing. Priced like an upscale place, the cuisine is not bad, but certainly not upscale. Which would be fine if the service were superior, but it's not. When we arrived a little early for dinner we were told that we could not be seated until the rest of the party arrived, even though the restaurant was less than half full. We cheerfully asked for the manager, a Mr. Desai, and he was actually brusque! He just said "it's our policy" and turned and walked away. The setting and decor are quite good.
(3)Danielle E.
We love Hacienda! They have very fresh food, amazing drinks and friendly staff. I have been there several times and never had a bad experience. I definitely recommend it if you like Mexican food that tastes fresh.
(5)David C.
I have been to this location a few times. The atmosphere is relaxed and very clean. The service is a bit inconsistent, depends on how the servers are feeling that day. I have six kids and no one can tell me that one tiny bowl of chips and 2 Salas is going to be enough. Note to servers: For the love of God make your life easier and bring more darn chips and salsa to the table at one time. You really want to make 4 additional unneeded trips? As the customer it looks as though your either not thinking or being stingy with the chips. The food is good, especially compared to other Mexican food establishments in the area. But, not great. Guacamole is very good, salsa tastes good but needs a lot more heat. I am from Texas and like things hot. Speaking of hot, if your palette can take it try the 8 pepper caliente sauce over the enchiladas. Not much flavor, but their new sauce gives me my fix. Hot and peppery. If you like it hot, give it a shot. Price is a little steep for Mexican, but worth a try.
(4)L. S.
Only went for drinks during Happy Hour. Restaurant was full, and the service was fantastic! Management is doing a great job. Will definitely go back again soon.
(5)Sara F.
I LOVE this place!! The food is excellent and the service was really great! The ribs are the best ribs I have ever had! The Ultimate Margarita was really yummy and VERY strong! We sat on the rooftop patio with our drinks after dinner and we had a great view of the mountains and the fire pits were perfect!

As a retired chef of 21-years who has cooked for 2 sitting U.S. Presidents, I know a little bit about the service industry. On our arrival we were given a number and told we would be seated in 30 minutes. At that point I went to ask about my wait and the hostess told me it would be five minutes. 25 minutes later I obviously was not happy to wait for a full hour. In my mind this was going to be my first and last time eating at Hacienda. Then suddenly the General Manager Frank got wind of our waiting time. Let me tell you this guy is hands down the best manager I have ever met... and I have eaten at some of the finest restaurants around the world. He immediately whisked us away to the best table in the house and treated us like royalty. He personally over saw our dining experience and our server Kayla was amazing. Now to the food. It was outstanding. The freshness and flavor was unexpected from a chain restaurant. Each bite my wife and I kept repeating "this is so good." I want to thank Frank and Kayla for turning this night into one of my top 3 dining experiences ever. In a day and age where good service seems to be a dying art... Frank has renewed my faith in treating people like you would want to be treated. This night easily could have been a zero... But because of a manager who takes the time to know what's going on in his restaurant... We saw a new service hero!
(5)Chad H.
Best Mexican food in town, great atmosphere! Make sure you don't mind waiting to get in the place.
(5)Chris W.
Not bad, service you can tell was new, but so so friendly! Definitely recommend for good lunch breaks.
(4)Ryan B.
Went yesterday for the first time. We went with a rather large group for a birthday and the servers were gracious to accommodate us. My wife and I each had a chicken chimichanga. They were great. Great taste, great fried texture, and great sauces. The side of beans were tasty as well. The rice was a little bland, but that's not a deal breaker. Fortunately, we have leftovers to eat for lunch today.
(4)Joe B.
Restaurant is new and clean. It is one of the more expensive Mexican restaurants yet the food is just average . Not my first recommendation for Mexican.
(2)Mary H.
Food was so so. They do have a gluten free menu. service was fine. Major distraction was all the flies buzzing around. Made it a poorer experience.
(3)K C.
Way too loud. Mediocre service. Food is a real disappointment. Won't go back, don't go.
(1)Michael B.
(4)Don A.
(1)Pete G.
(3)LaTonia W.
I've been to the Hacienda Colorado restaurant in Broomfield & Colorado Springs. They were both awesome & since Mexican is my very favorite kind of food, this place had quickly become a favorite! Food is so fresh & delicious! You won't be disappointed. The water is even super delicious.
(5)Katy K.
I cannot say enough how awesome this place is! Last weekend, I called to make a reservation for a group of 26 for dinner that evening. Not only were they able to accommodate us, but we didn't even need to wait for our table! They were incredibly accommodating and so efficient. They even lit the fire pit outside so our group could hang out there! The food was out in 10-15 minutes for our entire group! Everyone in our group enjoyed their food and service was great. I cannot express how happy I am that we were able to dine there!
(4)Chris S.
(2)Cassie P.
(5)Chris W.
Plain and simple: Best Mexican Food, Decent Prices, Amazing Views, Great Service. Love this place. Try the strawberry margaritas!!!!

Food is always enjoyable. Chips and Salsa always please. Today's chips weren't cooked all the way but Server quickly replaced ours with some warm ones. Customer Service is fabulous.......
(5)James H.
(2)Renee A.
Seriously the best restaurant salsa I've ever had and our waitress was amazing!
(4)JD H.

(5)Sarah L.
(4)Sarah G.

(4)Richard S.
Had a great time with Bev, Art, Anthony, Kim and Maya. Thank you for celebrating our 17th Wedding Anniversary! Service was excellent. I had the steak changa and of course, the sopillias. Both were excellent. Will definitely come back.
(5)Deb G.
Salsa is good, not too hot but just enough spice to it
(4)Mona C.
This place has horrible Mexican food. The place is nice but not worth it at all. I will not be back.
(1)Leslie C.
GROSS!!!
(2)Walt D.
Excellent! Devan was a fantastic server and the food was delicious at a very fair price. 'Nuff said. :)
(5)Tim K.
(2)Melaine H.
Love this place! Usually go with friends. Great margaritas and love the bacon wrapped jalapeño and cheese stuffed shrimp. This place also is generous with portions.
(5)I R.
(2)Mel V.
I had the tamales with black beans and rice. All were very good. Our server gave us a little bowl of each salsa. Love that. The sopapillas were amazing! Served with agave nectar, vanilla ice cream, and strawberries on the side. I loved it with just the agave. We will be back!
(4)Maria L.
Food was good, not great. Service was terrible!
(3)Rich S.
(4)Sarah N.
(5)Sarah S.
(2)Bryan M.
(4)Maria L.
Among the four of us, we tried almost everything on the 4-course menu. The tomato "hamburgers" amuse bouche, the curried zucchini and the lamb were really amazing.
(5)Christina S.
(4)Mark M.
(5)Tom P.
(2)Cielo G.
Typical Americanized Mexican in a modern setting. Food is consistent, but not tantalizing. My salad didn't even come with some of the ingredients listed on the menu. Disappointed. Salsa and sauces were a highlight.
(3)Cassie T.
Delicious food! Great service! Lovely atmosphere! I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas - FANTASTIC!! The tortilla chips are so thin and crispy and the salsa is perfect! Homemade flour tortillas - SHUT UP GOOD!!
(5)Renae G.
(3)David L.
(5)Todd D.
Good food and excellent service. The salsa is delicious and has some good kick to it. Lunch menus is small but effective.
(4)Nicole T.
Mediocre food, extremely careless and rude staff. I've given this place 4 chances and has been extreme disappointment every time. Save your money...skip this place until their staff can get it together.
(1)Megan J.
(5)J P.
(1)Brig A.

Go to their website and simply look at their food. It looks horrible, doesn't it? It's both horrible and overpriced, too, but the outside view is great on a nice day.

Crowded, food is so-so, cookie cutter design/atmosphere. The only plus is the terrace view of Pikes Peak. Probably wont go back for food, perhaps for a drink.

Stay tuned!

But yummy!

Food was delicious. Service was great. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if looking for some tasty Mexican cuisine.

Great food, fantastic frozen margaritas! The service has been consistent with each visit and my husband and I go here at least once a month.

Enjoy!

Only went for drinks during Happy Hour. Restaurant was full, and the service was fantastic! Management is doing a great job. Will definitely go back again soon.
